It has been the 243rd day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression.

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:

The enemy is trying to hold the ground on the temporarily occupied territories, improve its tactical position, focus its efforts on restraining the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in some directions and launch the offensive towards Bakhmut and Avdiivka.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks in the area of the settlements of Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmut, Andriivka, Marinka, Pervomaiske. Due to successful actions, our defenders forced back the enemy from the settlements of Karmazynivka, Miasozharivka and Nevske, Luhansk oblast and Novosadove, Donetsk oblast.

Based on the available information, russia continues to train some mobilized soldiers at the general and special forces military training centers. The enemy faces significant challenges with a lack of qualified officers and sergeants among military instructors and advisers at the training facilities due to heavy losses among such experts on the battlefield and a large number of soldiers drafted into military service. Soldiers, who have recently signed the contract and have a little combat experience, are quite often assigned to these positions.

The russian military command is attempting to raise the morale of russian soldiers by sending chaplains of the Samara based orthodox church to the battlefield. Most of them refuse to go to the front line due to safety concerns and lack of protective means.

The enemy is firing at Ukrainian defenders’ positions along the entire contact line and conducts aerial reconnaissance. The enemy launched rockets and missiles on the infrastructure and residential buildings by violating the norms of the International humanitarian law, laws and traditions of war.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy fired on the settlements of Kvitneve, Blahodatne, Bilohirka, Pravdyne, Partyzanske, Davydiv Brid and Tryfonivka.

To slow down the counteroffensive of Ukrainian defenders, the russian occupiers are mining bridges and crossings in Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts.

To replenish human losses, russian authorities continue recruiting prisoners to military service in russia and on the temporarily occupied territories. Hence most criminals from the Kherson colony # 90 were released after the so called talks with the russian federal security service.
