Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:

The enemy is trying to hold the ground on the temporarily occupied territories, improve its tactical position, focus its efforts on restraining the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in some directions and launch the offensive towards Bakhmut and Avdiivka.

Soldiers, who have recently signed the contract and have a little combat experience, are quite often assigned to these positions.

The russian military command is attempting to raise the morale of russian soldiers by sending chaplains of the Samara based orthodox church to the battlefield. Most of them refuse to go to the front line due to safety concerns and lack of protective means.
