It has been the 266th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The enemy is firing at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements bordering the front line. The russian invaders launched 2 air strikes, 3 missiles and 13 multi rocket launcher attacks. The russian missile hit the infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia. 

The situation did not significantly change towards Volyn and Podillia

In other directions, the enemy was firing towards: 

Sloboda from various types of artillery at the settlements of Strilecha, Hlyboke, Morokhovets, Ternova, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Bilyi Kolodiaz, Bochkove, Mala Vovcha and Komisarove;  

Kupiansk and Lyman from various types of artillery at the settlements of Kyslivka, Berestove, Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske and Terny;

Bakhmut from tanks and all types of artillery at the settlements of Spirne, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Zelenopillia, Kurdiumivka and Ozarianivka; 

Avdiivka from tanks, mortars, barrels and rockets at the settlements of Kamianka, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Mariinka; 

Novopavlivka from various types of artillery at the settlements of Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva; 

Zaporizhzhia from mortars, barrels and rockets at the settlements of Novopil, Temyrivka, Olhivske, Huliaipole, Malynivka, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria and Scherbaky; 

Towards Kherson, russian barrels and rockets hit the settlements of Nikopol and Chervonohryhorivka, Dnipropetrovsk oblast. 

Russian troops are sustaining losses in Ukraine. Following the hit on the buildup of russian forces in Denezhnykove, Luhansk oblast, 50 enemies were killed and wounded. In addition, it was confirmed that on November 09, 8 occupiers were liquidated and 16 armed military men were wounded near Amvrosiivka, Donetsk oblast. 

The Armed Forces of Ukraine deliberately battered the railway bridge in the area of the settlement of Chernhivka, Zaporizhzhia oblast to ensure russians will not use it to their benefit. 

It was confirmed that the place where invaders were stationed in Skadovska, Novomykolaivka and Nova Maiachka was struck. The information on invaders’ casualties is being verified. 

Broadcasting of russian TV channels was turned off in Melitopol. There are issues with water supply in the city. 

The air forces of Ukraine launched 2 strikes on the enemy. 2 anti missile and anti aircraft systems were affected. 

The rocket troops and artillery of Ukraine struck 2 command points, 3 buildups of manpower, weapons and equipment and 2 ammunition depots of russian occupiers.


Yaroslav Zhelezniak, member of parliament from Holos political party, informed that martial law was extended in Ukraine. The Verkhovna Rada voted to extendmartial law and general mobilization for 90 days until February 19, 2023. 

According to the secretary of the Council of National Security and Defense of Ukraine, Ukraine urges a collaborative study of the incident with the missile impact on the territory of Poland. Ukraine is ready to provide the available proof and evidence of the russian trace and waiting for the information from partners ultimately confirming that the missile of the Ukrainian air defense system fell in Poland.    

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning that the invaders shelled ten settlements. Russian federation targeted Hlyboke, Strilecha, Ternova, Vovchansk and others. Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, informed that out of 285 suburban and intercity bus routes that operated in Kharkiv oblast before the full-scale invasion, 104 have already been resumed. 

There will be 50 new warning systems in Kharkiv oblast. The Ukrainian-made equipment was received from the International Committee of the Red Cross. New systems will be installed in Kharkiv and districts of the region, which will allow to more effectively notify people about the threat of shelling. Referring to the State Emergency Service, enemy troops hit a private yard of Vovchansk community and a critical infrastructure facility in Zmiiv. 

In Kupiansk, the exhumation of those killed as a result of russian aggression was carried out in the afternoon while russians were shelling the city. The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that a woman was killed and a law enforcer injured. Last night, the enemy launched 6 S-300 missile strikes on Chuhuiv district and Kharkiv city. Energy infrastructure facilities were damaged. There are no casualties.

 s a result of infrastructure damage, about 900K residents in Kharkiv and the region were left without electricity supply. As of this morning, power supply has been restored to more than 800 K consumers. So far, some residents of Bohodukhiv and Izium districts, and about 3.5 K residents of Kharkiv remain without electricity supply. Works on elimination of the consequences of the strikes continue. 

The enemy shelled the settlements of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Kupiansk districts. Private buildings and outbuildings were destroyed, fires broke out. According to the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care, a 73-year-old woman was hospitalised with an explosive injury in Kupiansk district. 

Mine clearance works continue. Pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 312 explosive ordnance. Bees were evacuated to Lviv oblast from a village near Izium. Due to shelling, the house of family-owners of bees was destroyed, 13 hives survived.

Donetsk oblast

Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, reported that russians killed one civilian in Bakhmut. Law enforcers found the bodies of three people killed during the occupation: 1 in Shchurove and 2 in Sviatohirsk. Another 7 people were injured. 

The night in Donetsk oblast was relatively quiet, however the enemy continued shelling in certain areas of the frontline. In Donetsk direction, there were isolated attacks on the old part of Avdiivka and the outskirts of Marinka community – without casualties. In Horlivka direction, it was loud at Maiorsk station of Svitlodarsk community. In addition, there were isolated attacks near Bakhmutske, Rozdolivka and Yakovlivka in Soledar community and on the outskirts of Toretsk community. No casualties were reported.

Luhansk oblast

Enemy troops targeted Bilohorivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Novoselivske, Ploshchanka and Stelmakhivka with tanks and artillery at Kupiansk and Lyman directions.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian troops eliminated the invaders. As a result of enemy fire in Denezhnykove village, enemy losses amounted to about 50 people killed and injured.

The Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported that a patrol of russian invaders was destroyed by a group of the Specialized Forces of Ukraine near Kreminna.  

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine officially confirmed the liberation of Makiivka village and showed the condition in which the settlement was left by russian troops. The Ministry of Defence stated that not a single house survived.

Head of Luhansk Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are making progress in Kreminna and Svatove directions. However, they were not freed. According to him, the situation remains difficult but under control. In large cities, residents hear that the front is approaching, it means that Ukrainian troops are shifting the front line. There are almost no evacuations of residents, but the invaders deport locals so that they do not inform the Ukrainian troops where the enemy has equipment and warehouses. Ukraine controls about five percent of the territory of Luhansk oblast.

The head of the RMA noted that the equipment of Sievierodonetsk thermal power plant was destroyed, the Luhansk thermal power plant in Schastia was damaged. The remaining capacities will not be enough for a stable electricity supply to the occupied territory of Luhansk oblast in 2022.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Mayor Vitaliy Klytschko said that two residential buildings were damaged as a result of yesterday’s missile strikes in Kyiv, and an elderly woman was killed in one of them. Residents of these houses were evacuated and resettled, and the commission is currently assessing the degree of damage to begin restoration of the houses.

The head of the National Police of the region Andriy Nebytov informed that a russian missile killed a resident of Plesetske village, Kyiv oblast. During the air strike, the woman was visiting a grave of her husband at the cemetery and was fatally wounded with the missile fragments.

During the large-scale shelling of Ukraine on November 15, Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency Bill Burns was in Kyiv. He arrived in the Ukrainian capital to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and fellow intelligence specialists. According to CNN, at the time of the russian missile attack on Kyiv, Burns was in a safe place on the territory of the US Embassy.

The head of Kyiv RMA Oleksiy Kuleba informed that on the night of November 16, power supply was restored to 20K households in Bucha region, and about 34K households were connected in the morning. The restoration and stabilization of the system continue.

Power supply to critical infrastructure facilities in Kyiv has been fully restored, said the head of the military administration of the city Serhiy Popko. Water and heating are supplied as scheduled.

Wreckage of another missile shot down yesterday was found in the forest area in the north of the oblast. According to the police, the fall of the missile did not cause any damage or injuries.

Educational institutions of Kyiv oblast will work remotely from November 16 to the end of the week. The Kyiv RMA reported that this decision was made for safety reasons due to massive russian missile strikes.

Borodianka-Center rehabilitation facility for veterans, destroyed by the russian military with a direct tank hit, will be restored according to modern standards. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal. The building will be reconstructed in compliance with modern practices and safety rules, specifically, it will have an appropriate shelter.

The railway connection between Kyiv and liberated Izium has been restored. Ukrzaliznytsia reported that the tickets for this train are already available. The train will pass through Poltava, Kharkiv, Balakliia and other cities providing residents of the liberated Izium with a convenient night train connection to the capital.

Kyiv received the World Smart City Award Special Recognition. The awarding ceremony took place at the Smart City Expo congress in Barcelona. The capital of Ukraine was noted for achievements in the development of the “smart” municipal management system based on the Kyiv Digital application.

Zhytomyr oblast

The police of Zhytomyr region reported that as a result of the russian missile attack on November 15, the energy infrastructure of Zhytomyr was damaged and the equipment of the energy facility in Korosten region was destroyed. Police documented all circumstances and began pre-trial investigations.

Rescuers put out fire at the sites where russian missiles landed in Zhytomyr oblast and extinguished fires at energy infrastructure facilities. Almost 40 firefighters were involved in rescue operations.

The mayor Serhiy Sukhomlyn informed that electric transport and industrial enterprises will not work in Zhytomyr due to russian missile strikes on the energy facility. According to him, power supply in the city will be restored in the evening, but street lighting will be kept off.

According to Zhytomyr City Council, 22 boiler houses are currently operating in the city, while 28 are still without power supply. Hospitals of the regional center have an uninterrupted heating supply. Work is underway to restore power supply to the entire city.

Local authorities are expecting a batch of powerful generators, which are already at Zhytomyr Customs. Diesel generators will be distributed among critical infrastructure enterprises of the regional center. More than UAH 61 million has been allocated from the local budget for their purchase.

The town of Novohrad-Volynskyi in Zhytomyr oblast will be renamed into Zviahel. This decision was made at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada. The renaming of the city was initiated by its residents to return the historical name to the settlement, which was first mentioned in written records in the XIII century.

Electronic cigarettes are being recycled in Zhytomyr. Their batteries are used to make power banks and radios for the military. Currently, there are more than 15 places in Zhytomyr, located in cafes and shops, where you can hand over used electronic devices.

Sumy oblast

As reported by the “North” Operational Command, russian invaders shelled the Esman community twice. There were reportedly 20 attacks from MLRS and 11 from barrel artillery.

The head of Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi said that during the barrage of missile strikes yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a russian missile over Sumy oblast. Due to the successful work of air defense forces in Romny region, the enemy shell was eliminated.

The head of the EOD department of the National Police in Sumy oblast informed that another enemy missile was disposed of by their EOD experts in the oblast. When the outskirts of a Ukrainian village were shelled from a russian helicopter, one shell failed to explode and landed by the road. Sappers identified that S-13 rockets were used in the attack.

Metinvest-SMC metal trading company handed over 1.4 armor plates for soldiers of Sumy oblast. The company reported about it on its Facebook page. This assistance is provided by the enterprise for defenders, doctors and public utility services. The plates will be used to make 700 bulletproof vests.

More than UAH 1 million was paid by the state to enterprises of Sumy oblast for providing jobs to war refugees from other regions. The government’s program of compensation to employers has been operating since April. It provides payments for two months in the amount of UAH 6500 for each employed IDP.

According to the city mayor Oleksandr Lysenko, 36 buildings in Sumy were left without power due to emergency blackouts. Restoration works are underway.

A young resident of Okhtyrka Alina Kostiuk has won the international art contest “I LOVE UKRAINE”. The purpose of the multi-genre festival-competition held in Kyiv is to support and develop the creativity of Ukrainian youth. The girl received the Grand Prix in the nomination “Applied and Fine Arts, Painting”.

Chernihiv oblast

The head of the National Police in Chernihiv oblast Volodymyr Nidzelskyi reported that residents of the oblast helped the Armed Forces of Ukraine in shooting down several missiles during the barrage of attacks on November 15. According to him, during hostilities, residents were actively calling 102 (the police) reporting missiles spotted in the sky. This information was immediately transmitted to the air defense troops, who, in their turn, successfully downed the targets.

Chernihivoblenergo JSC urged residents of Chernihiv oblast to get ready for large-scale power outages. This is due to the critical situation with the power grid of the country and the region in particular.

Nizhyn community has purchased the 17th car for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This time it is Volkswagen T4. According to the town mayor Oleksiy Kodola, the military themselves chose the car that best suited their needs. Shortly, the car will be sent to the frontline in one of the areas with the most intense fighting.

Ukrainian football player Andrii Yarmolenko came home to Chernihiv oblast. He announced this on his Instagram page. “I’m finally home,” the captain of the Ukrainian national team wrote.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Head of the Regional Council Mykola Lukashuk says that 3 communities were again shelled with heavy artillery and MLRS. A fire broke out in Nikopol due to shelling. Ten private houses, four outbuildings, several cars, power lines and a gas pipeline were also barrelled. The communities of Marhanets and Chervonohryhorivka were attacked. 

In Shyrokiv community, the crossing destroyed in September due to russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih hydroelectric facilities was restored. Almost 1K residents of Shyrokiv now use the new bridge.

Vinnytsia oblast

Volunteers of the “SC Oriyan” NGO conduct civil defense lessons for children and adults. In the schools of Bar TC, students and teachers are taught how to handle weapons. They also show grenades, mines, shell fragments and explain why they should not be picked up if one happens to find them.

In Vinnytsia, with the help of relocated companies, 1 114 new jobs have already been created. 236 business entities moved to Vinnytsia from the places where hostilities are taking place.

Kirovohrad oblast

Poltava oblast

In Poltava, the “Knights of Columbus” continue to provide the Armed Forces with vehicles and logistical means. The unit purchased another Volkswagen T5  for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

Thanks to the contributions from Poltava residents, volunteers purchased 15 long-range flashlights for defenders. The funds for 15 Nitecore MH40GTR long-range flashlight for Poltava TD and Poltava Territorial center of procurement and social support were raised by residents of Poltava and oblast on the crowdfunding platform  ZMIST. 

Cherkasy oblast

According to Cherkasy City Council, ​​a new online map of protective structures of civil defense was created. Previously, access to this information was temporarily limited according to the recommendation of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The map was created on Google Maps platform. It shows different types of civil defense protective structures: storage facilities, anti-radiation shelters, dual-purpose structures and the simplest shelters that Cherkasy residents can use during air raids.

In Cherkasy, the humanitarian center of the Torets community provides free legal consultations, psychological and medical support. All workers moved from the Donetsk region to meet the needs of internally displaced persons from their community.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Yesterday, the enemy shelled positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Huliaipole, Orikhiv and Vasylivske regions. In addition, civilian houses in Polohy, Vasylivske and Zaporizhzhia regions suffered from enemy fire yesterday.

Enerhoatom SE NNEGC reported in its telegram channel that the plan for the restoration of nuclear and radiation safety of Zaporizhzhia NPP is to be approved on January 17, 2023 during a special thematic international conference in Warsaw. The main purpose of the conference is to discuss the problems, risks and unprecedented challenges to global security due to the situation at Zaporizhzhia NPP and to approve the restoration of nuclear and radiation safety at Zaporizhzhia NPP, which will allow the plant to return to normal safe operation in accordance with international standards and rules.

Employees of Zaporizhzhia NPP continue to resist the invaders. Power engineers continue to refuse to conclude “labour agreements” with russians, despite the enemy attempts to intimidate them. At the same time, workers control the condition of power units and ensure their work. Therefore, russians began to bring power engineers from russia. Specifically, specialists from Rostov NPP, who arrived on the business trip, are currently working at Zaporizhzhia NPP.

Propaganda media are spreading a fake that russians allegedly eliminated the equipment and base of Polish mercenaries in Zaporizhzhia direction. Such messages are spread by pro-russian telegram channels. A well-known traitor to Zaporizhzhia residents, a representative of the occupation administration, Volodymyr Rohov, was spreading such a fake: “Polish invaders settled in residential buildings, creating a transit point there. They were detected by drone reconnaissance. Our artillery reacted on the received coordinates, hitting exactly the car with the Nazis.”

Mykolaiv oblast

According to ‘South’ Operational Command, on November 15, 12 missiles were shot down during the barrage of missile and drone attacks over Mykolaiv oblast. In addition, 9 kamikaze drones of “Shahed-136” type were neutralized. Missile and artillery units of the Defence Forces performed more than 50 firing tasks. Specifically, they hit the enemy’s positions and concentration areas of manpower, equipment and weapons on the left bank of the Dnipro River  and Kinburn Spit. 

As a result, 17 invaders, 15 units of armored vehicles, 2 self-propelled artillery systems and Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAV were destroyed. Mykolaiv police units processed 531 reports from citizens. People reported destruction and damage to their homes as a result of earlier shelling. Residents of the freed territory began to appeal to the police. Three residents reported the theft of private vehicles by russian troops. 

The Security Service of Ukraine found caches with russian weapons and ammunition on the territory of de-occupied Snihurivka. During two days the SSU officers found more than 200 tank shells, more than 100 mines, eight artillery shells and ammunition for automatic cannon, 15 rounds for anti-tank missile systems, 13 F-1 combat grenades, four units of automatic weapons, including machine guns, more than 15 K rounds of ammunition of different caliber. Russian caches with explosives were set up on the territory of social objects, including hospitals and schools of the occupied settlements of the region.

 In the newly reclaimed Snihurivka,  an emergency medical care point has been fully operating since November 14. Two medical brigades are working there. Medicines, medical goods, all necessary materials for three months’ usage were delivered to the point. As for November 16, emergency medical care brigade cannot provide medical services in all settlements of Snihurivka community due to filtration and de-mining works. Military help with part of the calls, getting people to the safe zones.

Repair works on one of the damaged sections of the Dnipro-Mykolaiv water conduit have been completed today. Currently, the repair of three sections is still in progress.

On November 16, during the repair of the Dnipro-Mykolaiv water conduit, one of the utility enterprise’s KamAZ vehicles ran over a mine. According to the water company, none of the company’s employees were injured.

Odesa oblast

14 ships and boats of the enemy fleet are maneuvering in the Black Sea near the coast of the temporarily occupied Crimea. There are 4 missile carriers equipped with twenty Kalibr cruise missiles.

On November 16, emergency power outages were launched in Odesa oblast. Schedules of emergency shutdowns made earlier are currently not in effect. DTEK noted that the situation in the power system is tense and emergency shutdowns are being carried out due to russian missile attacks. This is a required measure to balance the power system and avoid equipment accidents.

A bulk carrier with 27K tons of humanitarian grain for the people of Ethiopia, which is on the verge of starvation, left the Odesa seaport for the first time. Germany and the UN World Food Program became partners of the initiative. This amount of grain is enough for almost 100 thousand people for a year. Five million tons of humanitarian grain are planned to be exported by the end of May next year.

Kherson oblast

The situation in the South Buh direction and in the Tavria operational area remains tense, but under the control of the Defense Forces. Defense Forces units continue to carry out stabilization measures and are entrenched in occupied positions. The enemy continues reinforcing the defensive lines on the left bank of the Dnipro and conducts an active defense along the entire confrontation line, which is demarcated by the river.

During the barrage of missile and drone attacks on Ukraine, 7 missiles and 1 enemy Orion-type strike-reconnaissance drone were destroyed over Kherson oblast. In addition, 2 ammunition depots in Nova Kakhovka and Oleshky were destroyed.

According to the General Staff, on November 15, enemy personnel buildups were hit near Skadovsk, Novomykolaivka and Nova Maiachka. Information on the number of casualties is being clarified.

The russian army does not stop shelling populated areas of Beryslav district, inflicting devastating blows on private houses, farms, shops and educational institutions. In the afternoon, the russian invaders shelled Novooleksandrivka community. The house was completely destroyed by the projectile hit. The 71-year-old house owner is now in an extremely grave condition.

Over the past day, the police opened 22 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes committed by the russian army in Kherson oblast. The police received a report from a resident of the freed village of Myroliubivka that his 35-year-old son was killed during artillery shelling of the village by the russian military. The police are establishing the identity and circumstances of the death of a person whose remains were found in Vysokopillia. Probably, the person died a violent death as a result of military aggression of the russian federation.

The police opened a criminal investigation of a television tower blown up by the russian military in the center of Kherson. The tower provided broadcasting and information content in the territory of the regional center and the right bank of Kherson oblast.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kherson oblast reports that 200 kilometers of roads and 189 houses have been de-mined in the region since liberation. In total, pyrotechnicians have carried out 435 operations and neutralized about 2 500 explosive objects in the Kherson oblast since the liberation.

Russian soldiers mined one of the buildings of the Main Police Department in Kherson. It had to be blown up. It was impossible to avoid the building being blown up. No one was hurt.

During the stabilization measures in the newly reclaimed Kherson, Security Service of Ukraine and National Police officers discovered another torture chamber of the russian occupiers. Local patriots who refused to cooperate with the enemy were kept there. During the inspection, law enforcement officers found objects that directly indicate signs of torture.

Another 210 Starlink terminals will be delivered to reclaimed Kherson. It is also planned to connect 60 Wi-Fi points throughout the region.

The United Nations delivered humanitarian aid to the city 72 hours after Kherson was liberated by the Ukrainian army. The humanitarian convoy delivered food, water, hygiene products, building materials, bedding and solar lanterns to the city for more than 6K residents of Kherson.

Mykolaiv volunteers delivered humanitarian aid to de-occupied Chornobaivka. Locals received 90 food kits weighing about ten kilograms each, bread, water, four bags with warm clothes and kits with household chemicals.

Volyn oblast

The RMA reported that as of the morning, power supply has been restored in most of the settlements, and the oblast center also has light.

In Kovel, one of the fragments of a russian rocket damaged the house of a large family. The damaged house is approximately 200 meters from the energy facility, which was destroyed by russian troops during a rocket attack. Debris pierced the roof and ceiling and fell on a child’s chair. There were no children in the room at the time of the shooting.

Zakarpattia oblast

In Uzhhorod, street lighting is being partially restored about 30% of the lights will work. The lights will be turned on after dark and until 9:00 p.m. That is during the period when the vast majority of Uzhhorod residents return from work, children from clubs and classes in extracurricular facilities. 85% of street lighting in Uzhhorod is energy-saving. It has been modernized over the past few years.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA presented military officer Andrii Balatsky with the highest award of the oblast – the For Merit to Prykarpattia medal. Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Marcinkiv, announced that in the city a coordination center for interaction with IDPs was opened. IDPs can get humanitarian aid at the Center.

Lviv oblast

During the massive attack on Ukraine, 13 enemy missiles flew into the oblast. It was a missile strike from long-range aircraft flying from the eastern direction. Most of them were shot down by soldiers of the “West” Air Command.

As a result of rocket attacks, three objects of energy infrastructure in the oblast were critically damaged. After the attack, about 700K Lviv households were left without power. 1 person was injured. The man is hospitalized in a stable grave condition. The roofs of three residential buildings were damaged, windows were broken in two residential buildings, and one garage was destroyed.

Power engineers worked throughout the night. Power and water supply have been restored in Lviv oblast. However, it will take 8-12 months to fully restore the operation of energy facilities in the oblast to pre-war indicators.

Following the rocket attacks in Lviv oblast, additional car and foot patrol crews were deployed on Lviv. They monitored order and regulated traffic at difficult intersections.

5 more children who were evacuated due to hostilities on the territory of Ukraine arrived in Lviv. They are students of one of the institutions of Zaporizhzhia oblast along with their companions.

The Creative Spark: Renovate Ukraine Forum started in Lviv in a shelter. Over the course of three days, fifty speakers from various fields will discuss the development of entrepreneurship, creative industries and education in Ukraine in the conditions of war.

In the city of Sambir, an inspection of public service establishments regarding the use of a russian-language cultural product was held. Members of the Interdepartmental Working Group of the Lviv RMA distributed leaflets and stickers with a reminder to ban the use of russian-language cultural products on the territory of Lviv oblast.

Fifth-graders of the Novoyavoriv school together with their teachers organized charity fairs in support of the defenders of Ukraine. Children sold handmade products and various goodies. Over UAH 35K collected were handed over to defenders for the repair of equipment on the front line.

On the occasion of St. Nicholas Day, Lviv will pay financial aid in the amount of UAH 10K to the children of the ATO/OOS participants who fell (missing) and the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, who are residents of the Lviv urban territorial community.

Rivne oblast

In the RMA, a meeting with representatives of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Ukraine was held. They discussed humanitarian aid for the oblast and involvement of international partners in providing aid.

Humanitarian aid was sent from Rokytniv region to liberated territories of Kherson oblast. Due to the joint efforts of the residents, 10 truckloads of potatoes, 6 busloads of food and a car with bread, as well as building materials were sent.

In the village of Orvyanytsia in Sarnen region, a field with an artificial surface was opened on the territory of the local lyceum. It was built using funds allocated by the state for the family of Maria Peshko, the mother of the fallen Hero from Orvyanytsia, Ivan Kliuik.

Ternopil oblast

After the rocket attacks, about 90K consumers in Ternopil oblast remain without electricity.

The city council reported that the notification system in some neighborhoods of Ternopil may not operate due to the lack of light. In addition, elevators stopped working in Ternopil.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

As a result of missile strikes in Khmelnytskyi oblast, the energy infrastructure facility was damaged. The area was partially de-energized, and the water supply was suspended. Air defense forces shot down 3 cruise missiles in the oblast. 2 civilians were injured as a result of falling rocket fragments and were hospitalized. Their state of health is satisfactory.

The RMA representatives and volunteers from Khmelnytskyi oblast visited the city of Izium. Volunteers arranged a patriotic concert for the locals. In addition, they brought a batch of humanitarian aid (food, warm clothes, hygiene products, toys and books for children).

Chernivtsi oblast

The city council reported that the situation in Chernivtsi is under control. Overnight, workers filled the tanks, inspected the networks and carried out emergency repairs. 81 boiler houses have resumed work, several small ones will resume work soon. There is electricity in the city, but the stabilization schedule is in effect.

The RMA reported that because of air attacks, all schools in Bukovyna were transferred to remote work.

Chernivtsioblenergo JSC reported that two brigades of energy workers from Bukovyna restore power supply in liberated Kherson oblast.

Chernivtsi received humanitarian aid, namely 30 power generators with a capacity of 3.5 kV thanks to the German foundation Blau Gelbes Kreuz.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Sweden announced that it will provide Ukraine with military and humanitarian aid worth over $350 million. The military aid worth $286 million will include an air defense system and ammunition, but the government has not disclosed which system it plans to provide.

The Ministry of Defense of Croatia has decided to transfer 14 Mi-8 helicopters to Ukraine.

The German government announced the list of military aid transferred to Ukraine. The aid includes shells for MARS II MLRS, heavy M1070 Oshkosh tractors, MG3 machine guns for armored evacuation vehicles. In addition, Ukraine received 116 field heaters and anti-drone sensors and jammers.

The White House asked Congress for $37.7 billion in aid to Ukraine. The aid includes $21.7 billion for military, intelligence and other defense support, $14.5 billion for humanitarian aid and support for the functioning of the Ukrainian government, $900 million for health care and support for Ukrainians living in the United States, and $626 million for nuclear security support of Ukraine.

Germany will allocate EUR 1 million in emergency aid to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine.

At the end of November, the EU will present the ninth package of sanctions against russia and belarus.

The Czech Republic adopted a resolution calling the regime operating in russia “terrorist.” The resolution condemns russia’s attack on Ukraine, including strikes on energy infrastructure facilities, and does not recognize the results of referendums based on which the russian government annexed part of Ukrainian territory.

The Minister of Defense of Spain, Margarita Robles, announced a plan to train 2 400 soldiers of the Armed Forces within the recently approved EU mission.

The US condemn russian missile terror and promise more air defense. “We will be with Ukraine for as long as it takes”, the US President’s national security advisor, Jacob Sullivan, said.
