It has been the 261th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6pm:   

The defense forces continue to liberate Ukrainian lands in the area of Kherson. As a result of successful offensive actions,  in some places the forward units of our troops have reached the right bank of the Dnieper. Units of the AFU are trying to detect and destroy the enemy in a number of settlements. For security reasons, the official confirmation will be provided later.

The enemy focuses its efforts on restraining the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in some directions, erects defensive constructions on the left bank of the Dnipro river and in the north of the temporarily occupied Crimea. At the same time they launched the offensive operations towards Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka. 

The enemy carried out 3 missile and 9 air strikes, carried out more than 10 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.

Enemy strikes were carried out at the settlements in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Vinnytsia, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts.

The situation didn’t significantly change towards Volyn and Polissia. The republic of belarus continues to support the russian armed aggression against Ukraine by providing russian armed forces with its infrastructure, territory and airspace. The russian and belarusian grouping is being formed in the republic of belarus. There is a constant threat of launching missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of this country.

In other directions, the enemy was firing towards:

Sloboda from artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements Aniyskyne, Bolohivka, Vilkhuvatka, Ohirtseve and Strilecha, Kharkiv oblast;

Kupiansk and Lyman from tanks and multi-caliber artillery, in the areas of the settlements Berestove, Kharkiv oblast and Miasozharivka, Novoselivske, Nevske and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk oblast;

Bakhmut from tanks, mortars, barreled and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Maiorsk, Niu York and Yakovlivka, Donetsk oblast;

Avdiivka from tanks and the whole range of artillery, in the areas of Avdiivka, Vesele, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Nevelske and Pervomaiske of Donetsk oblast;

Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of more than 30 settlements, namely Bohoiavlenka, Velyka Novosilka, Vodiane, Vuhledar and Novopil in Donetsk oblast and Huliaipole, Mali Shcherbaky and Olhivske of Zaporozhzhia oblast.

According to the updated information, in the area of Dniprovka, Zaporizhzhia oblast, destruction of the enemy Mi-8 helicopter was confirmed.

In the area of Enerhodar, the enemy’s control point was hit, more than 50 invaders were killed and over 40 wounded. The Ka-52 helicopter was also destroyed.

As a result of the strikes by the Defense Forces on the headquarters of the russian occupation forces in the settlement of Chervonyi Maiak, Kherson oblast, over 30 occupants were killed, 2 tanks and 4 trucks destroyed.

Ukrainian aviation has inflicted 5 strikes on buildups of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment.

Soldiers of rocket forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit a control point, 2 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 2 ammunition depots and 3 other important enemy military targets.

Head of the President’s Office Andrii Yermak says that 45 Ukrainian defenders and the bodies of two fallen soldiers were returned. Among them are soldiers and sergeants who defended our state in battles.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine calls on the russian military, who remained in Kherson, to surrender. It is reported in the address in Russian: “…Kherson is returning to the control of Ukraine, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are entering the city. The ways of retreat of the russian occupiers are under the fire control of the Ukrainian army. Any attempts to counter the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be stopped. Every russian soldier who resists will be killed.You have the only chance to avoid death by surrendering immediately. In case of voluntary surrender, Ukraine guarantees you preservation of life and security.” 

Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko says that a wall is being built on the northern border of Ukraine. The works continue in Volyn, Rivne and Zhytomyr oblasts. Currently, about 3 km of the border is arranged.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that in the Saltiv district, two children stepped on an unknown explosive device. Two boys aged 12 and 15 found an unknown object that detonated in the bushes near the house. As a result of the explosion, the children received shrapnel wounds and were hospitalised. Doctors are providing the injured children with all necessary assistance.

The invaders continued shelling the settlements of Kharkiv oblast along the state border with russia and the contact line. In particular, the enemy shelled cities and villages of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Kupiansk regions with mortars, rocket and cannon artillery.

According to the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care, a 42-year-old man was hospitalised with wounds in the Kupiansk region. In addition, a man of 76 years old went to doctors with an injury received the day before.

Humanitarian demining works continue in the oblast. 412 explosive ordnance was defused.

However, the mine danger is still very high. This morning near Pohonivka village, Barvinkove community, Izium region, a tractor working in the field ran over a mine. The driver was injured.

Donetsk oblast

The search for graves and identification of dead and killed local residents and the military continues in the liberated settlements of Donetsk oblast. According to the press service of Donetsk oblast, as of November 10, law enforcement officers found 120 graves. This is 37 more than was known on October 27. Of the 120 spontaneous graves known to the police, 33 are in Sviatohirsk, 87 are in Lyman, and three are mass graves. As of today, the bodies of 268 people have been exhumed, 208 of them have already been identified.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration informs about two civilians killed by russians in Donetsk oblast – in Bakhmut and Avdiivka. In addition, law enforcement officers found the bodies of 6 people killed by russians during the occupation: 4 in Drobyshevo and 2 in Yarova. Another 5 people were wounded in the oblast.

Towards Donetsk, no casualties are reported, but there is destruction. At night, russians shelled Kurakhove, damaging the high-voltage network. There were also sporadic hits on Avdiivka at night, and in the morning the city came under massive artillery shelling. The consequences are being established.

Towards Horlivka, Bakhmut suffered the most: 1 person was killed, 2 wounded, 3 private houses damaged. During the night there were intense attacks on the outskirts of Toretsk and Svitlodarsk communities, sporadic attacks were observed in the Soledar community – without casualties.

Towards Lysychansk, the shelling of Torske and Zarichne in the Lyman community does not cease. There were over 50 hits over the previous day. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, the extent of destruction is being established.

The invaders are trying to enter Bakhmut or bypass this city, suffer huge losses, but do not stop trying. Having no success and retreating to previous positions, the enemy actually destroys frontline settlements.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Donetsk RMA notes that the entire front line from south to north – Marinka, Krasnohorivka, the area near Vuhledar, Avdiivka, Toretsk, Bakhmut, Soledar, partially the Siversk community – comes under constant shelling. The infrastructure in the oblast is badly damaged, more than 60% of Bakhmut is destroyed.

The project for reconstruction of Mariupol Mariupol Reborn will be presented in Kyiv. According to preliminary estimates, it will take at least $ 14.5 billion to restore the city. USAID, EBRD, World Bank, SCM and Metinvest agreed to support the initiative.

Luhansk oblast

On November 10, units of the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in Bilohorivka, Makiivka, Miasozharivka and Novoselivske. Towards Kupiansk and Lyman, the invaders targeted Makiivka, Miasozharivka, Nevske, Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka  with tanks and various caliber artillery.

The Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported that partially mobilized soldiers continue to arrive in the temporarily occupied territory. Invaders are sent without warm clothes, equipment, means of protection and weapons they are promised to be issued directly in the area of hostilities.

Head of Sievierodonetsk City Military-Civil Administration, Oleksandr Striuk, informed that filtration measures intensified and some residents disappeared. He added that the possibility of mass delivery of food from the surrounding villages to Sievierodonetsk is decreasing. The russians have not established any centralized supply. The invaders illegally settle in the apartments of local people. They took expensive equipment from the local hospital. About 7% of medical workers from the pre-war number remain in Sievierodonetsk.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Kyiv oblast was visited by a Lithuanian parliamentary delegation headed by Speaker of the Seimas Victoria Chmilitye-Nielsen. During their stay in the oblast, the delegation visited Borodшanka, Bucha and Irpin. They saw with their own eyes the place of mass burial of civilians in Bucha and the kindergarten in Irpin destroyed by russian shelling. The Kyiv RMA notes that Lithuania is actively helping to rebuild Ukraine’s infrastructure and has been supporting Ukraine at the political, economic, and security levels since the first days of the full-scale war.

The press service of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that possible subversive groups continue to be identified and neutralized. Stationary and mobile checkpoints, where documents are checked and cars inspected are constantly operating in Kyiv oblast. The forces of the Kyiv Defense Group are also searching for and disposing mines and explosive objects, ammunition and other dangerous objects.

The YASNO company reported on the introduction of emergency power outages in Kyiv and the oblast due to new shelling of energy facilities on the territory of Ukraine. However, at 12am, they canceled emergency blackout schedules and noted that thanks should be given to the “energy magicians who are doing their work at every site.”

The Operational Headquarters of the Defense Council of Kyiv oblast decided to ban festive illuminations. The ban on the use of garlands and light decorations applies to both commercial and communal and state property.

The Kyiv City State Administration reported that civil defense structures will be installed at ground public transport stops in Kyiv. Shelters should enhance protection of citizens during enemy shelling and air attacks. Within a month, they plan to develop a list of city transport stops with the largest number of passengers.

The KCSA reported that the russian language was completely excluded from the curricula of preschool and general secondary education institutions in the capital. It is noted that in war conditions, it is impractical to conduct the educational process in the language of the aggressor and study it in educational institutions.

Employees of the Bucha Department of Social Protection restore documents in temporarily adapted premises of the Center for Children’s Creativity in Makarov. As reported in the Kyiv RMA, during the hostilities, the administration facility was completely destroyed, as well as all the equipment and 63K personal files of people receiving social assistance.

4,700 residents of Canadian Picton collected over $70K for reconstruction of Kyiv oblast. The community of the town will donate these funds to restore a Ukrainian school and buy medical equipment.

Mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klychko said that the city handed over 50 minibuses received from foreign partners to the border guards. They will be used by combat units guarding the state border in the north of Kyiv oblast and in the east of Ukraine. In July, the capital handed over 35 similar cars to the border guards.

The charity race Marathon of the Indomitable will start in Hostomel on Saturday to raise funds for creation of the Psychological Assistance and Rehabilitation Center for Military Personnel in Kharkiv oblast. The race starts at the Hostomel airport and passes through Hostomel, Bucha, Irpin to the recently restored the  Stoianka bridge. Veteran paratrooper Maksym Pasichnyk will participate in the half-marathon to collect UAH 300K to open the Center.

Dzhereltse, the children’s vocal ensemble from the Brovary region collected UAH 40 thousand for the Armed Force of Ukraine. The money was given to the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Fund, for which they also sang “Oi u luzi chervona kalyna.”

Zhytomyr oblast

A bust of the russian writer Alexander Pushkin was dismantled in Zhytomyr. Within 15 minutes, employees of one of the utility companies removed the writer’s bust from the pedestal and dismantled the inscription.

For almost three weeks, the Ivan Franko Cinema in Zhytomyr collected aid for the residents of the friendly city of Kupiansk, in the Kharkiv oblast. The city was under occupation from February 27 to September 10. In the coming days, all collected items children’s toys and clothes, warm blankets, books, bicycles, food and hygiene products will be delivered to those who need them most.

Rescuers visited one of the kindergartens of Zhytomyr oblast. During the Safety Hour class, they talked about the dangers of various ammunition and behavior during the air alarm signals. Psychologists of the State Emergency Service conducted toy therapy with the children. Educational games, coloring pages, notebooks and books from the UNICEF were presented to the children at the end of the meeting.

Sumy oblast

Head of the Sumy RMA, Dmytro Zhivytskyi announced that the enemy shelled the Khotyn community twice with mortars. During the day, 42 explosions were heard and 7 more hits were recorded closer to the evening.

Shostka Central District Hospital received a powerful generator. Thanks to the UN program, the emergency department, operating rooms, the intensive care unit, elevators and the X-ray room became independent from power outages. If necessary, the hospital will be equipped with one of the heating points, where people can charge gadgets and warm up.

Teachers, volunteers and other residents of Bilopillia prepare dry soups for the Armed Forces. The residents make packages with dry vegetables potatoes, carrots, onions – as well as buckwheat and croutons. The soup, designed for 5-10 liters of ready-made food, can be made in 20 minutes. Since the beginning of the war, 7,400 such packages have been handed over to the defenders. The volunteers also add drawings and other hand-made gifts from Bilopillia children.

The neonatal intensive care unit of the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital received modern equipment. The funds were collected thanks to the traditional All-Ukrainian Heart to Heart action, in which the Youth and Sports Department of Sumy oblast took part. Among the gifts are a heating system for babies, fourteen special beds, a pulse oximeter and an electrocardiograph.

Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin announced that Polish residents from the city of Miślenice presented a specialized four-wheel drive Renault car to the residents of Pidlypne, Konotop region. Now the village will again have its own fire station, as it was before the war.

Chernihiv oblast

The ‘North’ Operational Command reported that the occupiers shelled the border areas of Chernihiv oblast once again. In Mykolaivka, there were 9 hits probably from 122 caliber barrel artillery.

The Ridna Semenivka community reported that Mykola Zheleznyak, a resident of the Semenivka community and a soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, returned home from russian captivity. As part of the exchange of prisoners, 45 Ukrainian defenders were released on November 11. The soldier is to undergo rehabilitation in hospital.

Head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, says that the Danish company ROCKWOOL will send a cargo with generators, awnings and other materials intended to support the civilian population during the energy war in Chernihiv oblast. This assistance will also be used to install heating points.

The Main Department of the National Police in Chernihiv oblast reported that the police continue to conduct security exercises in communities near russian and belarusian borders. Explosive technicians and canine experts with service dogs take part in preventive measures. The situation near the borders is controlled and stable.

The play called “Rubicon” about the military events in Chernihiv oblast will be shown in the Chernihiv Youth Theater. The director – Oleksii Bysh is Honored Artist of Ukraine. Another honored artist of Ukraine Liubov Veselova takes part in the performance.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Head of the regional council, Mykola Lukashuk reports that in Nikopol, the  night seemed restless due to  enemy shelling. The occupiers shelled Nikopol, Marganets, and Myrove communities with heavy artillery. In Marhanets, a fire broke out in a country house as a result of the attack.  A college was affected in Nikopol.

Several times the occupiers fired with the MRLS at the Marganets community in the Nikopol region. Two local residents, born in 1954 and 1987, were injured: one man received a shrapnel wound, the other a mine-explosive injury and concussion. The men were hospitalized.

A man injured as a result of a kamikaze drone attack on Dnipro had his right leg amputated. His brother was wounded, too.

The exhibition Peaceful Sky over Ukraine was opened in Dnipro. The author of the paintings is Aliona Larina from Dnipro, presenting her works for the first time. The exhibition was organized to raise money for humanitarian aid to the de-occupied territories.

Vinnytsia oblast

The RMA reported that the russian army hit one of the critical infrastructure facilities in Vinnytsia oblast at night.

Two Cities – One Heart. Vinnytsia City Council informed that a unique stamp dedicated to Kielce was redeemed in the Stamp Museum of Vinnytsia. This is the first stamp of the topical series Sister-Cities, which was started as a sign of gratitude to friendly cities. The ceremony was symbolically timed to Poland’s Independence Day. The stamped envelope with a postcard was sent to Kielce.

Vinnytsia libraries together with the  Divchata (“Girls”) NGO continue implementation of social rehabilitation measures within the Support for IDPs in Ukraine project. Art therapy workshops, an English speaking club, a knitting club, and fairy tale therapy classes take place in the Central Library for Children and Youth and the Central City Library named after I. Bevza.

Kirovohrad oblast

The exhibition of drawings by Vasyl Mul, a resident of Mariupol, We are Ukrainians: Kropyvnytskyi – Mariupol was opened in Petro Osovskyi`s gallery World and Homeland. More than 40 works were presented at the exhibition.

Cherkasy oblast

According to Dmytro Lunin, Head of the Poltava Regional State Administration, another batch of warm clothes, 400 items this time (1300 in total), purchased from the regional budget was handed over to the fighters of the 116th brigade of the Territorial Defense. 4 cars from Poltava are on their way to the military.

In Poltava, there is a support center for people who moved from the Volnovakha region of Donetsk oblast to other regions of Ukraine due to the war. It is aimed to help  people who moved from their homes to adapt to life in Poltava oblast and provide social services. The administrator of the center Liudmyla Kodberh stated that 60 residents from Volnovakha  district applied to the support center.

Cherkasy oblast

The Cherkasy City Council reported that the city received humanitarian aid, in particular, lanterns to provide emergency lighting in shelters. In those areas of Cherkasy, where the shelters are several blocks away, alternative premises are arranged that can be used as shelters.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

According to the police department, the occupiers fired at civilian infrastructure in 20 settlements of the region. 13 reports about the destruction of citizens’ houses and infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling by russian troops were received. The russians bombarded the region with missiles and aircraft, MLRSs and artillery, and launched unmanned aerial vehicles. A civilian woman was wounded by shrapnel.

Pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service discovered 15 cluster munitions, 2 units of incendiary elements, 2 units of remnants from the Smerch MLRS projectiles and 16 cumulative and fragmentary military elements. As a result of shelling by the russian troops in Orihiv, a market with a total area of 130 square meters caught fire.

232 people, including 38 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory.

Oleksandr Starukh, Head of the RMA, informed that about 200 stationary heating points are planned to be deployed in the oblast for the residents to survive the winter in case of shelling of critical infrastructure objects by the russian troops. In addition, if necessary, employees of the State Emergency Service will be able to deploy a tent camp with heating systems, showers and toilets. Currently, more than 25K consumers in 72 settlements of Zaporizhia oblast are without power supply due to the damage to power lines, pillars and equipment. According to Zaporizhzhiaoblenerho, the company’s employees repaired the damage and restored energy supply to 5,950 local households.

Ensuring nuclear and radiation safety at the Zaporizhzhia NPP occupied by russian troops became one of the main topics of the plenary meeting of the Western European Nuclear Regulatory Association (WENRA). The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine reported that the participants expressed their support for proposals to cancel cooperation with russian nuclear enterprises until complete deoccupation, demilitarization, and the return of the Zaporizhzhia NPP under the full control of the Ukrainian authorities. As informed by the inspectorate. One of the main issues of the WENRA plenary meeting was the guarantee of nuclear and radiation safety at the ZNPP occupied by the russian troops, where the russian invaders store military equipment, explosives, ammunition and weapons.

Mykolaiv oblast

The State Emergency Service reported that russian troops struck a five-storey residential building in Mykolaiv with an S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. Part of the building was destroyed as the result of the shelling. The number of victims increased to seven – the bodies of six victims were pulled out from under the rubble, and one more person died in hospital. 

The settlements in Shevchenkove and Bereznehuvate communities were also under enemy fire. The russian troops struck an industrial infrastructure object in the Mishkovo-Pohorilove community. The damage is being clarified.

As of November 11, Mykolayiv oblast has not been completely liberated from russian troops. Head of the Mykolaiv military administration, Vitalii Kim noted that the Kinburn spit is temporarily under the control of the russian army. The day before, the Defense Forces of Ukraine liberated Snihurivka, which had been under occupation since March 19. According to Kim, the military administration is preparing humanitarian aid for the residents of the liberated territories, where the russians left a large number of mines.

Odesa oblast

Air defense forces were on alert at night in Odesa oblast. According to Serhii Bratchuk, Head of the Odesa RMA, the enemy is trying to intensify aerial reconnaissance, but has no success. According to the ‘South’ Operational Command, the enemy fleet of 17 units continues maneuvering in the Black Sea. 2 missile carriers with 16 Kalibr missiles have been put on combat duty.

The head of the RMA also noted that 3 dry cargo ships with soybeans and wheat left the ports of Odesa. The ship Brave Leader left for Tunisia with 21.6K tonnes of wheat. Bulk carrier Bahar K will deliver 7.9 K tonnes of soybeans to Italy, dry cargo ship Sally M will transport 6,850 tonnes to Lebanon. In addition, 5 vessels that passed through the maritime humanitarian corridor as part of the grain agreement on November 10 are heading to Odesa ports.

According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to expand the water area of seaports on the Danube River. Ukraine has managed to increase the cargo turnover in 3 ports on the Danube from 30K tonnes per month to 1.7 million tonnes over the past six months. Ukraine will be able to increase exports and strengthen economic stability thanks to new checkpoints and expansion of the water area of the Danube ports.

Odesa oblast received 5 generators and a batch of food kits from the Global Empowerment Mission from the USA. The food kits were immediately sent to the humanitarian aid distribution point in one of the Odesa districts. Generators will be supplied to regional heating points. As Deputy Head of the Odesa RMA Roman Hrygoryshyn notes, russia has destroyed about 40% of Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities over the past month. Therefore, the support of this sector is extremely important at the moment, given the winter period and the difficulties that communities across Ukraine may face.

Kherson oblast

Kherson is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine again. According to Ukrainian Intelligence, the Ukrainian military has entered the city, and the retreat routes of the russian occupiers are under the fire control by the Ukrainian army.

According to the Kherson Regional Council, Ukrainian defenders are cleaning Kherson from the russian troops on the recently liberated territories, and are urging local residents not to leave their homes.

The General Staff reports that during the successful offensive of our troops towards Kherson, 12 settlements were liberated on November 9: Dudchany, Piatykhatky, Borozenske, Sadok, Bezvodne, Ishchenka, Kostromka, Krasnoliubetsk, Kalynivske, Bobrovyi Kut, Bezyimenne and Blahodatne.

The russian invaders continue looting the settlements before retreating. The enemy is also trying to damage power lines, transport and critical infrastructure in Kherson oblast as much as possible.

The forced eviction of local residents from settlements in the territories temporarily occupied by the enemy in Kherson oblast continues. The enemy forbade residents to move around the settlement and is refurbishing the system of defensive lines in Zelenivka. Volyn oblast

The Office of the President reports that a wall is being built on the border with belarus in Volyn oblast. About 3 km of the border have been arranged, works are ongoing.

There was another exchange of prisoners of war with the russian federation. Volyn resident Roman Feier is among those freed from captivity. Originally from Lutsk, he was drafted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Zakarpattia. He was considered missing for a long time.

Another 80 sets of winter uniforms will be sewn in the Volyn community and soon delivered to the military.

In Novovolynsk, a charity marathon was held. In support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the residents held fairs and wove camouflage nets. The collected funds and woven nets will be given to the military.

Zakarpattia oblast

The customs of Zakarpattia oblast reported that since the war began, over 120k tonnes of humanitarian goods have arrived in Ukraine through the customs posts of Zakarpattia. The largest number of humanitarian missions came from Italy, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic.

As part of the UNDP and the EU project Measures for Economic Growth, Zakarpattia accommodation centers for displaced persons received 15 heaters. Earlier, UNDP provided 60 beds with mattresses and bedding sets for IDPs. In the future, the shelters also plan to provide the necessary household appliances.

In Uzhgorod, a solemn meeting of the Public Organization Gnyeva Volosevich Society of Polish Culture of Zakarpattia on the occasion of the Independence Day of Poland was held. Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Lviv Tomas Koval is among the invited guests.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Head Office the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast reported that a delegation of Carpathian rescuers visited the Opole Voivodeship of the Republic of Poland on a working trip. During the trip, the delegation of rescuers handed over nine defibrillators, which will be used by mountain rescuers for emergency resuscitation in mountainous areas.

The Pechenizhyn community donated three medical vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The cars are equipped with modern equipment and provided with medicines for the timely provision of first aid during transportation to hospital. They were purchased with the assistance of HumanitäreHilfeUkraine.eV and local residents.

The Kalusa territorial community converted the premises of a former primary school in the village of Mostishche into temporary accommodation of IDPs. This shelter is arranged for 29 displaced people from socially vulnerable population groups.

Lviv oblast

The Maltese Aid Service in Ukraine launched a new special project called Winter Program, to provide rescuers of the State Emergency Service in Lviv and Kharkiv oblasts with mobile solar generators. These are mobile containers with solar panels, batteries and a backup source of energy (a diesel generator). They cost about UAH 3 million each.

The 2nd Autumn Nursing Forum with international participation started in Lviv. The theme of this year’s event is Emergency Nursing: Tested by War.

Rehabilitation and sports meetings for veterans were organized in Lviv oblast. For ten days, the veterans could improve their general physical training and archery skills at the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center.

Over 6 tonnes of flour for the needs of IDPs were handed over from the Drohobych region. The flour was donated to the Caritas Charitable Fund of the Sambir-Drohobyt Diocese of the UGCC for the IDPs who live and volunteer in the shelters of the local Caritas.

Over 2K Lviv medics mastered psychological resilience skills and learned to provide psychological first aid. This is especially relevant because the city is going to set up mental health centers in local medical institutions.

Rivne oblast

The RMA reported that 90% of social institutions are already warm. Hospitals are fully connected to heating, as well as 89% of schools and kindergartens. 95% of residential buildings are provided with centralized heating. 

Ternopil oblast

Another evacuation train from Donetsk oblast arrived in Ternopil. Rescuers and зsychologists of the State Emergency Service welcomed over fifty adults and children.

Thanks to the UNICEF initiative Community Friendly to Children and Youth, New equipment for carrying out phototherapy in newborns was delivered to Ternopil City Hospital No. 2. 

Employees of the Road Service in Ternopil oblast organized an auction within the charity initiative United for Victory of Ukravtodor. Thanks to the sale of 4 paintings by Ukrainian artists, they received almost UAH 140K. .

Shelters will be installed at public transport stops in Ternopil. According to Mayor Serhii Nadal, one of the Ternopil companies will produce them. At the moment, project documentation is being developed.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Head of the RMA, Serhii Hamalii, reported that representatives of the military units stationed in Khmelnytskyi oblast were given 300 stoves.

Mayor of Khmelnytskyi, Oleksandr Simchyshyn and Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, Vasyl Zvarych, visited the sister city of Chekhanov and met with representatives of the city’s authorities. They discussed further help from the Chekhanov community.

The sister city of Chekhanov (Poland) sent the tenth humanitarian cargo, namely 23 generators, Dji Mavic 3 quadcopters, first aid kits, etc. The total value of the cargo is over UAH 1.5 million.

Chernivtsi oblast

In the Chernivtsi RMA, an online meeting with heads of other oblasts under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal was held. They discussed the current situation with heating, operation of the energy system of Ukraine and measures aimed at ensuring priority needs of IDPs.

The Pentagon disclosed the details of a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth $400 million. It includes missiles for HAWK air defense systems, four Avenger anti-aircraft missile complexes and Stinger missiles, additional ammunition for HIMARS, artillery shells, mortar mines, 100 highly mobile multi-purpose wheeled vehicles, 400 grenade launchers, small arms, optics and over 20 million rounds of ammunition for small arms, explosive equipment for clearing obstacles and means of protection against the cold.

The British Ministry of Defense reported that the United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with 1K missiles for air defense and 25K sets of winter uniforms for the Armed Forces.

An additional package of military aid was sent from Germany to Ukraine, including 18 reconnaissance drones.

Spain will transfer 2 more HAWK air defense systems to Ukraine.

Ukraine will receive 6 more Caesar self-propelled guns from France. “We will deliver them in the coming weeks. So far, we have delivered other types of artillery of the previous generation – TRF1 howitzers,” said French Defense Minister Lecorne. He added that Paris will fulfill its promise to deliver 24 Caesar self-propelled guns to Ukraine.

Ukrainian partners sent Swedish demining complexes Minröjningsorm to the Armed Forces. Minröjningsorm is a special anti-mine device to provide passages through minefields.

Bulgaria will train combat medics within the framework of the European Union Military Assistance Mission in Ukraine.
