It has been the 259th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression.

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 18.00:

The enemy inflicted 8 missile and 10 air strikes, carried out more than 4 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.

The enemy’s strikes affected more than 15 settlements of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Sumy oblasts.

The situation did not significantly change towards Volyn and Polissia.  The republic of belarus continues to support the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, hosting russian servicemen, providing training grounds and airspace. The joint russian and belarusian grouping of troops on the territory of the republic of belarus is being formed. There is a constant threat of launching air strikes, including UAV attacks from the territory and airspace of the republic of belarus.

In other directions, the enemy fired towards:

Siversk from barrel and jet artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Novomykolaivka and Ulanove, Sumy oblast, also, the enemy used a strike UAV;

Sloboda from mortars, rocket and barrel artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Hryhorivka and Kolodyazne, a strike UAV was used;

Towards the South Buh, more than 25 settlements near the contact line were shelled. In addition, the enemy continued to conduct aerial reconnaissance, using UAVs. There were over 50 sorties.

The mobilized russian citizens who are trained in Kursk and Bryansk oblasts have a significant deterioration in the moral and psychological state due to the difference between the picture of Russian propaganda and the actual situation, inhuman conditions of stay and the lack of promised payments.

Russian units undergoing training in the area of Baranovichi, Brest oblast, were provided with obsolete weapons and property – metal helmets of the World War II model and protective equipment of 1960-70s. In addition, a significant part of small arms, namely AK-74 assault rifles, are inoperative due to poor storage conditions.

According to the updated information, russian occupiers are taking looted property and stolen cars out of the city of Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region. Looting occurs under the guise and accompanied by representatives of the occupying so-called state security agencies.

Aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine inflicted 4 strikes on the enemy, hitting 2 buildups of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as 2 positions of enemy air defense equipment.

Also, in different directions our soldiers shot down 5 Shahed and 2 Orlan UAVs .

Units of rocket forces and artillery of the Defense Forces affected 6 buildups of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 2 stations of electronic warfare and other important military targets of the enemy.
