It has been the 258th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm: 

The enemy is trying to keep the temporarily captured territories, focusing efforts on restraining the actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions. At the same time, the enemy launches offensive operations towards Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka.

The enemy is firing at the units of the Armed Forces along the front line, erecting defensive constructions in some directions and conducting the aerial reconnaissance. 

They continue to hit critical infrastructure and civilian homes by violating the International humanitarian laws, conventions and customs of war. 

The enemy carried out 3 missiles and 10 air strikes. The areas of settlements of Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts were attacked. 

The situation did not significantly change towards Volyn and Polissia.  The republic of belarus continues to support the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, hosting russian servicemen, providing training grounds and airspace. The joint russian and belarusian grouping of troops on the territory of the republic of belarus is being formed. There is a constant threat of launching air strikes, including UAV attacks from the territory and airspace of the republic of belarus.

In other directions, the enemy fired towards:

Siversk from mortars and barreled artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Obody, Pavlovka and Pokrovka Sumy oblast;

Sloboda from tanks, mortars and barreled artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Ambarne, Budarky, Vilkhuvatka, Dvorichna, Kozacha Lopan, Krasne, Ogirtseve, Sosnivka, Staritsa Kharkiv oblast;

Kupiansk and Lyman from artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements of Vyshneve, Kupyansk, Krokhmalne and Kislivka of the Kharkiv region; Grekivka, Myasozharivka, Makiivka and Nevske in the Luhansk region and Lyman, Terny, Torske and Yampolivka, Donetsk oblast;

Bakhmut from tanks, mortars, barreled and  multi rocket launch systems, in the areas of the settlements of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilogorivka, Zalizne, Klischiivka, Mayorsk, Opytne, Severny, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Yakovlivka, Donetsk oblast;

Avdiivka from tanks and the mortars, barreled and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Avdiivka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Nevelske, Novomykhailivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Donetsk oblast;

Novopavlivka  from tanks and the mortars, barreled and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Velika Novosilka, Volodymyrivka, Vremivka, Vugledar, Mykilske, Neskuchne, Novopil, Pavlivka, Prechistivka, Donetsk oblast;

Zaporizhzhia from artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements of Varvarivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Mali Scherbaky, Novodanilivka, Olhivske, Stepove, Temyrivka, Uspenivka, Charivne, Zaporizhia oblast;

Towards the South Buh, more than 30 settlements near the contact line were hit by fire, namely Blagodatne, Nova Kamianka, Suhy Stavok, Kherson oblast; Vasylivka, Kobzartsi, Shyroke, Mykolaiv oblast.

Russian forces continue to blatantly violate the laws and customs of warfare against civilians in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson oblast. On November 7, convoys of trucks carrying household appliances and construction materials moved across the dam of the Kakhovska HPP. Dismantling and removal of equipment, cellular towers of Ukrainian mobile carriers continues.

Russian occupiers blew up power lines and solar power plant equipment in the area of the city of Berislav. The occupiers took away all art objects, furniture and equipment from the Kherson regional art museum.

To investigate significant losses of personnel of units of the 155th separate marine brigade of the armed forces of the russian federation on the territory of Ukraine, a group of representatives of the investigative committee of the russian federation was sent to the city of Donetsk.

In Melitopol and Mykhailiv districts, Zaporizhzhia oblast, russian forces are forcing the local population to obtain russian passports. At the same time, the invaders take the passports of Ukrainian citizens and threaten them with resettlement.

Aviation of the Defense Forces inflicted 16 strikes on the enemy. 8 buildups of personnel, 4 weapons and military equipment, as well as 8 positions of the air defense of the occupiers were hit.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed topics vital for Ukraine with the member of the Cabinet of the President of the USA, the Permanent US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield today. This was announced on his Telegram channel. They also discussed the situation at the front and russian missile terror. “Therefore, the key task is the urgent creation of an air shield over Ukraine,”  noted Zelenskyy.

According to the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Ukraine returned home 38 bodies of fallen heroes due to the cooperation of the Commissioner for Missing Persons, Oleh Kotenko, and a number of law enforcement agencies. In total, 663 bodies have already been returned.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff, the invaders continued shelling the region with tanks, mortars and artillery.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that communities continue to receive humanitarian aid and construction materials. 20 tons of food were delivered to Kupiansk and Velykyi Burluk. Also, with the help of partners from the International Committee of the Red Cross, construction materials were delivered to Kupiansk to repair the damaged buildings – more than 300 sheets of slate and almost 400 rolls of tarpaulin. 15 tons of warm clothes, footwear and personal hygiene products were delivered to Valky community, residents of Izium, Oskil and Starovirsk communities received full food packages – more than 6 K packages. With the assistance of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Kharkiv oblast received power generators. They were transferred to Balakliia, Borova, Dokuchaievske, Eskhar, Kivsharivka and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.

The launch of boiler houses continues. 402 boiler houses are already operating, which is 76.4% of all boiler houses in the region. In Vovchansk, the invaders cut off gas supply to 17 boiler houses. Therefore, Ukrainian officials are working on providing alternative power sources and evacuating the residents. The situation in Kupiansk is better, gas supply has been restored. Ukrainian officials continue to restore electricity supply and launch boiler houses. In Izium, 35% of boiler houses are working, in Balakliia – 83.3%.

In general, electricity supply in the de-occupied territories has been restored by about 80%, gas supply – by 70%. The works continue.

The enemy fired at the settlements of Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts.

Around 1 am in Dvorichna community, the roof of a private residential building burned as a result of shelling. There were no casualties. Walls, windows and fences of private households were damaged in Vovchansk community of Chuhuiv district as a result of russian shelling.

Mine danger in the region remains high. A 32-year-old lieutenant of the civil protection service was injured during de-mining in Kharkiv district. An anti-personnel mine detonated, doctors describe his condition as critical.

In Balakliia community, a 61-year-old man stepped on an explosive object. He was hospitalized in a medical institution. His condition is сritical. 

According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, two road workers were killed and two seriously injured as a result of a mine explosion in Chuhuiv district.

Donetsk oblast

Donetskoblhaz JSC reported that 32% of private houses and 92% of boiler houses have already been connected to gas supply. Bakhmut, Lyman, Sviatohirsk and Toretsk will remain without gas supply for the time being.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, informed that russians killed 3 civilians: in Bakhmut and Krasnohorivka. In addition, law enforcers found the bodies of 4 people killed during the occupation in Yampil. 7 people were injured.

At night and in the morning russians attacked the frontline from Vuhledar to Siversk.

In Volnovakha direction, 1 person was injured in Vuhledar. Bohoiavlenka and Pavlivka also were under fire, damaging 6 buildings.

There were no casualties in Donetsk direction. Avdiivka was under artillery and Grad shelling at night. The old town was damaged. The outskirts of Maryinka and Ocheretyne communities, Hostre of Kurakhove community were hit. In Hostre, 8 buildings were damaged.

In Horlivka direction, intensive shelling continues in Toretsk community and near Bakhmutske, Rozdolivka and Yakovlivka  in Soledar community. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

In Lysychansk direction, it was loud in Siversk community. There were hits in Siversk and near Dronivka and Serebrianka. There were no casualties, information on destruction is being clarified.

The enemy struck again at Kramatorsk. The shells landed near one of the local schools. The school building and nearby residential buildings were damaged. An eight-year-old boy was the victim of the shelling.

Luhansk oblast

According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, another russian attack was repelled in Bilohorivka. However, the invaders are firing at the settlements of Luhansk oblast. Novoselivske and six other settlements were massively shelled. This time Andriivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Miasozharivka, Nevske and Stelmakhivka in Kupiansk and Lyman directions were targeted.

The occupation administration of Sievierodonetsk has established a permanent commission to identify and inspect uninhabited residential premises, with their further inclusion in the maneuver fund.

The invaders need this to provide accommodation to citizens who have lost their homes. Most of them for some reason are collaborators and military. They are checking the apartments reported by neighbors. Some addresses have already been published online.

The residents of Bilokurakyne are promised to have their living conditions improved. The monument to Lenin was returned to its place.

In Svatove, a warehouse with ammunition was recently destroyed in the district center.

StratCom Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed that as a result of an artillery attack of the 140th separate reconnaissance battalion of the Marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a russian fuel and lubricants depot was destroyed. The enemy fuel stocks were destroyed in Dibrova village of Kreminna community of Sievierodonetsk region – between Torske and Kreminna.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that the term “gray zone” in Luhansk oblast is almost neutralized, because the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is constantly continuing.

The Luhansk Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine received a Toyota Land Cruiser J78 vehicle for the work of the Disaster Medicine team. In Kyiv, at the initiative of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, ‘Free Ukraine’ Ukrainian-Swiss Association sent 21 vehicles for the medics of the Emergency Medicine Service of Ukraine, including for the needs of Luhansk oblast.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield arrived in Kyiv for a one-day visit. According to the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, she will meet the Ukrainian authorities, learn documentary evidence of war crimes committed by the russian army and listen to eyewitness accounts.

DTEK reported that emergency power cuts in Kyiv will last for up to two days. It will take about two weeks to repair power lines and other infrastructure to supply electricity to Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine.

Restoration of residential, social and critical infrastructure continues in Kyiv oblast. According to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kuleba,  works have been completed at almost 3 700 facilities, 1 400 are in progress. 2 495 residential and multi-storey buildings, 97 educational institutions, 50 healthcare institutions, 25 administrative buildings and ASCs have been restored.

Specialists started repairing six high-rise buildings on Kyivska Street of Borodianka village. In Bucha, it is planned to complete restoration of more than 30 apartment buildings on Vodoprovidna Street by the end of the month.

A group of Kyiv war veterans will have psychological, physical and social rehabilitation in the Polish city of Tarnów. According to the Kyiv RMA, all expenses for accommodation, meals and rehabilitation programs will be covered by Polish partners. In total, 180 Ukrainian defenders will have such rehabilitation in the neighboring country.

The Director General of the Antonov Company, Yevhen Havrylov, announced that Ukraine has started construction of the second AN-225 Mriya aircraft to replace the one destroyed by russians during hostilities in Hostomel. According to him, the second Mriya is 30% ready. The construction cost is estimated at 500 million euros. The funds will be raised with the help of Leipzig/Halle International Airport, where Antonov Airlines is temporarily based.

Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Sviatoslav, presented the Pope with a piece of a russian mine that damaged the facade of the Greek Catholic church in Irpin. He did so during his first visit to the Vatican since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion. “… Every day we pull out such fragments of russian mines, bombs and missiles from the bodies of soldiers, civilians and even innocent children. They are visible signs of total destruction and death that russia brings to Ukrainian land,” said the head of the UGCC.

Zhytomyr oblast

The head of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration Vitaliy Bunechko announced that Portugal will help rebuild Zhytomyr Lyceum №25. It will become a modern lyceum with a unique European curriculum and open educational space. The parties are currently discussing further steps in the project design and reconstruction of the educational institution.

Zhytomyr oblast received 2 255 grain storage sleeves, which will be distributed to 85 agricultural enterprises of the oblast. Such temporary storage containers will allow farmers to protect almost 500K tons of new harvest. This became possible thanks to cooperation with our international partners, the UN, the governments of Canada and Japan, and the Australian charity Minderoo Foundation.

According to the Zhytomyr RMA, two modern ambulance cars were sent to medical institutions of Ovruch and Malyn communities that suffered the most from the russian aggression. The assistance was provided through cooperation with the charitable foundation House of Bread.

Sumy oblast

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that the enemy shelled the territory of Nova Sloboda, Krasnopillia and Bilopillia communities using mortars and barrel artillery. There were more than 75 explosions.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that in Sumy oblast, free wood is distributed for heating houses in the regions adjacent to the combat area. The oblast received more than UAH 154 million to provide households with solid fuel wood. It will be proportionally distributed among 22 border communities.

Konotop community received 10 convector heaters under the Mayors for Economic Growth project, implemented by UNDP in partnership with the European Union. According to the city council, the heaters will be placed in one of two shelters that the community is setting up to provide housing for internally displaced persons.

In Sumy, relatives of fallen soldiers together with artists and volunteers have been working on a painting for three days to immortalize the memory of the defenders who fell in battle. According to the author of the idea Anton Dubodelov, about 40 families joined the project to create a canvas of 42 by 2.5 meters. The painting is planned to be placed at Baranivka Cemetery, near the Alley of Glory.

Chernihiv oblast

After the liberation of settlements of Chernihiv oblast the situation in the border villages remained extremely tense. As reported by the head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Viacheslav Chaus, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, only two days passed without shelling of the oblast.

According to the information from Chernihiv RMA, since February 2022, more than 350 people have moved from the Novhorod-Siverskyi community to safer places. 51 people were resettled from Snovsk community of the Koriukivka region. About fifty people were relocated from the border village of Senkivka, where the shelling is the most intense.

The City Department of Culture and Tourism reported that there are no plans to set up a traditional New Year town and hold any official and unofficial events for the New Year’s celebration in Chernihiv. However, they plan to come up with some form of celebration and the New Year’s atmosphere to congratulate children.

The ‘North’ Operational Command informed that the members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, who have recently paid an official visit to Japan, presented their Japanese colleagues with special souvenirs, wooden boxes made by the artisans of the Command. They contain photographic evidence of military aggression of russian troops against Ukrainians and residents of Chernihiv oblast in particular, as well as wreckage of aircraft that bombed Chernihiv.

The Ukrainian division of the Korean transport and freight forwarding company offers its assistance to Chernihiv oblast. According to Chernihiv RMA, currently the parties are discussing ways of cooperation and possible projects. Ecovis Logistics Ukraine LLC can offer the latest developments for firefighters, medical equipment, and propane powered heating equipment.

The building and the adjacent territory of the Regional Center for Social and Psychological Assistance, damaged by russian shells in early March, is still under restoration. Soon the center will once again help people overcome depression, find housing, register and process documents, and find employment.

Chernihiv RMA reported that the diver rescue units of the oblast received another batch of aid from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). In September, thanks to USAID, the oblast received diving suits, motors, carriages and other necessary equipment worth more than three million hryvnias.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

According to Head of the regional council Mykola Lukashuk, the occupiers struck Nikopol from MRLS Grad late in the evening. The administrative buildings of several enterprises, a school, a medical facility, four five-story and four private residential buildings, almost half a dozen cars and a gas pipeline were damaged. At night, Marhanets community was shelled with heavy artillery. During the day, the occupiers shelled Nikopol district three times. Nikopol, Chervonhryhoriv, ​​and Marganets communities were shelled from heavy artillery and MLRS. 

A team of volunteers from Kryvyi Rih sent about 2K dry borsch servings to the front line. Over 10 volunteers are working on producing dry first courses. 

Vinnytsia oblast

Vinnytsia City Council informs that repairs have been completed in one of the centers for internally displaced persons. More than 70 people, families with children, will be able to live in the renovated rooms of the school’s dormitory. The project was implemented in cooperation with the French humanitarian organization ACTED. About 160 displaced persons are staying in the hostel, including 36 children.

A Protection and Support Center for internally displaced persons with disabilities was opened in Vinnytsia.

Almost 8K hryvnias for the Armed Forces were collected at a charity chess tournament in Vinnytsia. The children’s tournament for beginners was held in Vinnytsia City Palace of Children and Youth named after Lialia Ratushna.

Kirovohrad oblast

A coordination meeting with international humanitarian organizations was held in the public office in Kirovohrad oblast to learn the ways of cooperation, to share first-hand experience and achievements, as well as to offer their vision of partnership in the humanitarian sphere.

Teachers from 17 schools of Oleksandria community collected over UAH 28K for the AFU during a charitable sports event. The collected funds will be transferred to the regional military hospital for the purchase of rehabilitation equipment.

Poltava oblast

In Poltava, a project of lifeguards to minimize children’s stress was launched. Using soft toys, trained rescuers will playfully help children cope with negative psychological impact.

Cherkasy oblast

Over a hundred internally displaced persons and residents of Cherkasy received free medicines and consultations from the US medical volunteers for the second time. The initiative was launched by the volunteer organization Global Care Force at the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine.

The volunteer committee in Cherkasy oblast sews thirty blankets every day to keep the soldiers warm. The head of the committee Liubov Zdorovenko said that they used to sew balaclavas, first aid kits and shirts for wounded defenders.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast 

According to the headquarters of the National Police of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia oblast, the invaders shelled the civil infrastructure in 17 settlements. Destruction of 32 civilian homes, apartments, civil infrastructure facilities by russian occupiers was reported.

According to the head of RMA, Oleksandr Starukh, russian invaders hit one of the villages with S-300 rockets. One missile exploded near the civilian home by damaging the house and facilities, another missile exploded in the field.

131 persons, including 13 kids, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territories..

Russian occupiers continue to terrorise civilians in the temporarily occupied settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. According to the General Staff of Ukraine, the occupiers intensified administrative and counterintelligence actions in Eherhodar and Melitopol. They conduct illegal searches in civilian homes, check the cell phones and detain civilians. The invaders also forced people to obtain russian passports.  

In addition, the State Emergency Service reported that 4 cluster projectiles, 1 remains of the Smerch rocket launchers, were detected in the settlements of the region. The experts neutralized all explosives. Moreover, rescuers in Orikhiv and Huliapole put down 4 fires. 34 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire and eliminating the consequences of the enemy’s shelling. 

Experts of the All-Ukrainian Ecology League stressed that due to operational breakdowns of the power blocks of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station warm water does make its way to the cooling pond which can be fatal for fish fauna. Fish in this pond help sustain hydrobiological system parameters and ensure safe operation of the station. If the water temperature does not rise shortly, tens of tons of dead fish will surface in the pond. 

According to the information provided by Zaporizhgas Joint Stock Company, there are 150 771 households in 206 settlements left without gas supply in the region.  Due to the damage to main gas pipelines in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk oblasts, 199 settlements don’t have gas supply, and 7 settlements partially don’t have gas supply. There is no updated information on gas supply in the temporarily occupied territories of the region. 

Mykolaiv oblast 

Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv RMA, reported that russian cities continue to terrorize Mykolaiv oblast. The industrial infrastructure was struck in Pervomaisk and Halytsyn communities. According to the “South” Operational Command, Kutsurub community was shelling with Grad MRLS. One settlement in Shevchenkiv community was struck. As a result of the shelling the gas pipeline was damaged, and later repaired. One person was wounded. 3 settlements in Shyrokiv community were shelled by russians. 3 civilian homes, the power grid, the town hall, educational establishment and a local market sustained damaged. Settlements in Inhulets and Bereznehuvate communities were also attacked. 

34 civilian facilities were damaged. In total during these 8 months 13 200 civilian facilities were affected. 6 645 households were left without gas supply. 349 civilians wounded by russian shelling are now being treated at the local hospitals. 

Vitaliy Kim also informed that russian invaders hit the barges transporting the grains. There were many attempts to shell barges at anchorage near Ochakiv. This is not the first case. On October 31, russian troops fired at two Niulblon towboats involved in grain transporting. Two people were killed, one person went missing as a result of shelling. 

According to the spokesman of Mykolaiv RMA Dmytro Pletenchuk in the National Marathon live, Ukrainian defenders in Mykolaiv found an efficient way to fight Iranian drone kamikazes. According to him, now Ukrainian soldiers manage to bring down almost 100% of drones. To strike using 1 or 2 drones, russians launch 15-20 drones. Special units were formed in Mykolaiv to eliminate the enemy’s drones. 

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine shared the infographics on damages caused to medical facilities as a result of russian shelling. Mykolaiv oblast took the third place among the regions where hospitals were affected. 148 hospitals were damaged or destroyed in the region. During 8 months of the war, russian occupiers damaged 1 100 medical facilities, 144 among them were completely destroyed. 95 facilities were renovated, 204 – partially repaired. The cost of renovating medical facilities is estimated at UAH 38 billion which is USD 933 million. 

Before the winter season because of the russian shelling of critical infrastructure, 5K portable metal stoves are to be distributed in the region, 3K are supplied by the Red Cross of Ukraine. According to the RMA, priority in rendering the aid is given to the most vulnerable population, public facilities, utility providers and heating points.

Odesa oblast 

The spokesman of Odesa regional military administration Serhiy Bratchuk claimed that the export agreement of food products from Ukraine through grain corridors will be extended. According to Interfax-Ukraine, the joint coordination center also informed that 8 bulk carriers are on their way to Ukraine along the humanitarian corridor within the Istanbul grain agreement. Furthermore, 77 vessels are awaiting permission. 15 loaded vessels are preparing for the inspection in Turkish territorial waters. The Minister of Infrastructure also stated that the vessels will load 140K tons of agricultural produce. 

According to the Naval Forces of Ukraine, the defense forces neutralized anti-ship mine washing ashore tOdesa oblast.

The Bolhrad city council reported that 100 new functional beds were supplied to the local center hospital. These mechanical functional beds with two-side orthopedic mattresses were placed in the surgery department. According to the head doctor, the hospital required upgrade and modernization for quite a while.

Kherson oblast

According to the police in Kherson oblast, russian troops shelled the civil infrastructure: power grids, private houses, solar panels, educational establishment. There are killed and wounded civilians.

The recently liberated settlements in Beryslav region were shelled with Grad MRLS and artillery. Civilian homes, solar panels, and agricultural equipment were damaged. A fire broke out in the school in the village of Zolota Balka as a result of shelling. In some villages, almost all stores, drugstores and cafes were damaged, civilian homes are uninhabitable.  

Locals from the recently liberated territories report looting by russian soldiers to the police almost daily. Civilians returning to their homes find stolen property items: washing machines, TV sets, consumer electronics, fridges, irons, bikes, solar panels and vehicles. Residents of Skadovsk and Kakhovka regions report that russian soldiers settle in their dwellings and appropriate their property. In Kherson, russian invaders kidnapped the local resident. According to his mother, her son was detained in a detention facility, then taken away from there and now his whereabouts are unknown. 

The police reports that russian soldiers appropriated tens of vessels from the local vessel enterprises such as barges, towboats and floating cranes. Russian occupiers stole half of the fleet of the Grain Transshipment company located on the territory of the Perlyna Khersona division. The commercial director and co-founder of the company Yevhen Ihnatenko shared the information on his Facebook page that they use these vessels for the personnel and equipment to cross the Dnipro river.

Nova Kakhovka mayor Volodymyr Kovalenko reported that russians robbed the Tavriia cognac distillery and took away the equipment. Based on his information, the vehicles were leaving the territory of the enterprise taking the cargo covered in tarps. Russians could steal the automatic dispensing systems. The alcohol for the unique vintage cognac is the most valuable. 

According to the General Staff of Ukraine, convoys of trucks carrying consumer electronics and construction materials were moving along the dam of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station. Moreover, occupiers are dismantling and taking away the equipment of cellular towers of Ukrainian cell phone carriers. The invaders also blew up the power lines and equipment of the solar station in Beryslav region. They stole and took away all art objects, furniture and equipment from the Kherson regional art museum.

Volyn oblast

Farmers of Volyn received 790 mobile grain storing equipment. Each sleeve can hold up to 200 tonnes. 46 small and medium-sized farms, cultivating from 100 to 10K hectares of arable land, received additional opportunities to store grain products. The aid was rendered within the framework of the international aid program from the UN Agricultural Organization (FAO)

The charity association Partnership for the sake of Ukraine (Germany) sent humanitarian aid, 80 canisters of Prismocitrat 18/0 solution for hemofiltration and dialysis, to the Volodymyr Territorial Medical Association. 

Thanks to the initiative of the mother of the captured military medic Dmytro Nataliia Nikolaeva, boards in support of captured defenders of Mariupol appeared in Lutsk. Her son has been in captivity for almost seven months where he was captured during the defense of Mariupol.

Zakarpattia oblast

The Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic Karel Hirman and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the country Yaroslav Kmet are visiting  Zakarpattia. The key goal is cross-border cooperation with Zakarpattia oblast under martial law.

The RMA reported that a two-day seminar Basics of cyber security: cyber hygiene and teaching methods is being held in the regional center of Zakarpattia. This is the first stage of CRDF Global’s cyber security course.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

A charity event was held in Tatariv in support of the Armed Forces. More than 50K hryvnias collected will go to help the soldiers of the community.

Prykarpattia decided to hold an online auction, which will raise funds for the Armed Forces. 65 unique lots will be displayed. The event is organized by the RMA together with the public organization Banderivsky Shron.

Lviv oblast

Employees of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv oblast received notifications about mining of district courts. Specialists examined all objects mentioned in the reports, as well as surrounding areas. According to examination results, no explosive devices were found.

The American charity fund Help Heroes Of Ukraine in cooperation with the band Without Limits sent 12 pickup trucks to the front line. The cars were transported from the US by sea.

From Lviv oblast, 6 vehicles were sent to the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to carry out combat missions. All cars are equipped with bulletproof vests, medicines, sleeping bags, blankets and hygiene products. The total number of cars within the framework of the initiative 1K cars of freedom reaches 700 units.

The charitable organization 100% Life City of Lviv opened a new shelter in Lviv for IDPs who were evacuated from the war zone. New premises with an area of ​​700 square meters will be able to accommodate 150 people for free.

The coordination center for rendering humanitarian aid in Lviv oblast handed over a 100 kilowatt diesel generator to the mayor of Bohuslav (Kyiv oblast) Vitaliy Khomenko. It will help provide the city with electricity.

International training on providing assistance to citizens heading to EU countries took place at the Krakivets state border crossing point in Lviv oblast. As part of the exercises, mobile heating points were installed at the border. If necessary, medical and psychological assistance will be provided there. Mobile centers have a children’s play area and a space for mothers with children.

Four representatives of Lviv oblast received honorary orders of Isabella the Catholic from the Kingdom of Spain. This Order is awarded for civil services to Spain both to Spaniards and citizens of other countries, for actions that help improve friendly relations between countries.

Rivne oblast

Rivne oblast is ready for an increase in the number of IDPs in winter. Facilities in Klevan, Dubno and Berezivka communities are being repaired. Such institutions receive necessary things in the winter from international charitable organizations, namely heaters, sleeping bags, warm blankets, etc.

Head of the RMA, Vitaliy Koval, announced that a shelter with operating theaters and wards was set up in the Rivne City Hospital. The total area is over 5K square meters.

Representatives of the International Charity Organization GAiN sent 11 sets of life-saving equipment for the management of the State Emergency Service as charitable assistance. Each set consists of a fire-resistant jacket and pants, special shoes and a helmet.

The RMA reported that soldiers of the 104th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Rivne oblast have radiation, chemical and biological defense training every week.

The RMA reported that volunteers who worked on the psychological support hotline were awarded in Rivne oblast. In total, during operation of the line, it received over a 1K calls.

German volunteers visited Rivne Zoo. Benefactors brought fodder for inhabitants of the menagerie. Mayor Oleksandr Tretyak shared with the volunteers the idea of buying tickets to the zoo online, which they pledged to support and spread.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA reported that hourly power outages were restored in Ternopil oblast. The order was given by Ukrenergo.

A dismantled soviet plane was sold in Ternopil for UAH 300K. The plane used to be at the entrance to the National Revival Park. The City Hall will use the proceeds to purchase drones for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The public organization Protection – Association of Volunteers has launched a new project, mobile brigades that provide free legal, psychological and other consultations to IDPs, military personnel and their families. Volunteers reported that the project is being implemented with the assistance of the public organization ISAR Unity.

A department of psychological rehabilitation has been established in Shepetivka on the basis of the consultative and diagnostic center. Victims of hostilities, persons with disabilities as a result of the war, and all those who directly participated in measures necessary to ensure the defense of Ukraine against the russian military aggression can receive qualified help from a psychologist. Chernivtsi oblast

Head of the Chernivtsi RMA, Ruslan Zaparanyuk, reported that the RMA signed a memorandum of cooperation with representatives of the international non-governmental humanitarian organization ACTED. It will strengthen cooperation between the two parties in providing humanitarian assistance to IDPs.

The city council reported that all medical facilities in Chernivtsi are provided with backup power. They have at least one generator each.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The Embassy of Ukraine in Lithuania reported that Lithuania provided Ukraine with 13 generators. The second batch of aid to energy workers is already being prepared for dispatch.

Germany will provide EUR 7.6 million to the International Commission on Missing Persons to help locate Ukrainians who have disappeared since the start of the full-scale russian invasion.

Head of the monitoring group of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies, Andriy Klymenko, reported that russian warships in the Mediterranean Sea have been waiting for permission from Ankara (Turkey) to cross the Bosphorus since February 2. An exhibition on stone embroideries of the occupied Nova Kakhovka will be presented in Warsaw (Poland). Dovzhenko, together with his colleagues, created 80 unique carved panels that decorated the walls of buildings in Nova Kakhovka. His works are considered a unique artistic phenomenon, to which contemporaries already gave the name – stone embroideries. Now they have the status of architectural monuments.
