It has been the 461st day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The russian federation, bearing heavy losses, continues to wage a war of conquest. They continue to use terror tactics in an attempt to intimidate the population of Ukraine, conducting strikes and shelling not only military but also civilian targets.

The russian troops conducted another massive airstrike on the territory of Ukraine, in particular on the capital of the country, using Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. 29 of the 31 drones were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders. There were civilian casualties. Private homes, and other civilian and administrative infrastructure were damaged.

The russian military carried out 44 air and 1 missile strikes, and fired about 20 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.

The probability of missile and air strikes all over Ukraine remains high.

The russian forces continue to focus their main efforts on trying to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. Ukrainian defense forces repelled 11 enemy attacks.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no signs of offensive groups forming.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the russians continues to maintain military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. The enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to infiltrate a subversive reconnaissance group across the state border of Ukraine near Zelene, Kharkiv  oblast. They also launched an airstrike near the village of Udy.They carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the settlements of Yanzhulivka, Karpovychi in Chernihiv oblast; Seredyna-Buda, Fotovyzh, Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy oblast.    

Towards Kupiansk, the russians carried out unsuccessful offensives west of Masiutivka in Kharkiv oblast and towards Novoselivske in Luhansk oblast. They shelled Kamianka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv oblast with artillery and mortar weapons.

Towards Lyman, the russians did not conduct any offensive actions. They launched airstrikes in Bilohorivka of Luhansk oblast, and Yampolivka of Donetsk oblast. They shelled Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk oblast, and Spirne in Donetsk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, the russians did not carry out any offensive actions. They carried out an air strike near Vesele and a missile attack on Niu York in Donetsk oblast. Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Khromove, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Pivnichne, Zalizne, and Nyzhnyk in Donetsk oblast were shelled.

Towards Avdiivka, the enemy conducted an unsuccessful offensive near Sieverne. There were airstrikes in the area of Avdiivka and shelling at Avdiivka, Orlivka, Pervomaiske, and Netailove in Donetsk oblast.

Towards Marinka, near Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka, Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks. At the same time, the enemy launched an airstrike within the settlement of Mariinka, and shelled Heorhiivka and Pobieda in Donetsk oblast.

Towards Shakhtarsk, the enemy launched an airstrike in Velyka Novosilka region. He fired at the settlements of Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Shakhtarske.

Towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the russian forces continue to carry out defensive actions. They launched an airstrike near Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia oblast. They shelled Zelene Pole, Novopil, and Temyrivka in Donetsk oblast; Olhivske, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, and Stepove in Zaporizhzhia oblast; and Sadove, Komyshany, and Kizomys in Kherson oblast.

Aviation of the defense forces carried out 8 strikes on buildups of enemy personnel and military equipment.

Rocket and artillery units hit 3 command posts, a buildup of enemy manpower, 4 artillery units at firing positions, an anti-aircraft missile system, 3 fuel and lubricant depots and an electronic warfare station.


The Ministry of Reintegration informed that the bodies of 79 fallen Ukrainian defenders have been returned to Ukraine. The bodies were handed over in accordance with the Geneva Conventions.

MP Honcharenko reports that a draft law to increase military leave up to 40 days was approved in the first round of voting. The new law allows 30 days of annual leave and 10 days for family reasons. The law is to be finally considered by the second convocation.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that a russian subversive group unsuccessfully attempted to enter the territory of Ukraine through the state border in Kharkiv oblast.

The Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Kharkiv oblast said that a 72-year-old man was wounded in the afternoon shelling of Kivsharivka and Vovchansk. Previously, the russian military dropped a FAB-250 bomb on Kivsharivka, and fired mortars at Vovchansk. 

On May 29, the russian military massively shelled settlements in Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and Izium regions using rocket launchers, artillery, mortars and aircraft. 

According to updated data, 9 civilians were injured as a result of a missile strike on the village of Kivsharivka in Kupiansk region. A dormitory building, 2 private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged in the village.

In the village of Hlushkivka, Kupiansk region, the shelling damaged 5 private houses, outbuildings and a power line. A 60-year-old woman was injured.

A 66-year-old woman was wounded as a result of artillery shelling in Hlyboke village of Kupyansk region.

Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged in the village of Bohuslavka, Izium region.

The shelling of Vovchansk in Chuhuiv region damaged a grain elevator and granary and other civilian facilities. Residential buildings were destroyed and fires broke out. A 36 year old woman was injured.

Donetsk oblast

Serhii Cherevatyi, Spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, says that towards Lyman and Kupiansk, a mixed formation of occupation forces is observed. Due to the problems with the personnel of the russian army, they are sending ‘cossacks’, kadyrov’s men, territorial troops, and soldiers of the russian army reserve into battle. He noted that there were no hostilities towards Bakhmut. The defense forces managed to destroy the Wagnerites and break the combat potential of the russian army in this area. The rotation of russian troops is currently underway in the city.

Hanna Malyar, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, reports that the russian military did not advance on any of the offensive areas – towards Bakhmut, Kupiansk and Marinka. According to her, russian troops are not advancing towards Bakhmut, but continue shelling and conducting airstrikes. Troops are also being replaced and regrouped in this area. Towards Kupiansk, russian troops are conducting unsuccessful offensives. Towards Marinka, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Mariinka over the last day. The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions towards Lyman, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of Donetsk Military Administration, says that Mariupol military administration and military administrations in the settlements of Mariupol region will be established in the near future.

The russian army shelled 8 cities and towns in Donetsk oblast. A total of 26 civilian objects were damaged.

Towards Volnovakha, Velyka Novosilka came under mortar fire. Vuhledar suffered 3 airstrikes and 15 artillery attacks. Novoukrainka, Prechystivka and Maksymivka are also affected.

Towards Donetsk, a massive shelling of Avdiivka took place in the morning. Kurakhove community came under fire 5 times: 7 private houses, 2 multi-storey buildings and an agricultural enterprise were damaged in Kurakhove, 1 house damaged in Vovchenka and Ostrone. Krasnohorivka and Heorhiivka are under artillery fire.

Towards Horlivka, 2 people were killed and 8 wounded as a result of a bomb attack on Toretsk. A gas station was destroyed, 2 high-rise buildings, 2 administrative buildings and a school damaged. In Chasiv Yar community, 2 houses were damaged. In the morning, Kostiantynivka was shelled with artillery, damaging an enterprise.

Towards Lysychansk, 2 people were wounded in Zvanivka. A house and non-residential premises in Siversk were damaged.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reports that over the past day, russians killed two residents in Toretsk. Another 10 people were wounded in the oblast.

Luhansk oblast

The vast majority of enemy attacks are usually aimed at Bilohorivka and Kreminna forests. This time, however, the russians conducted offensive actions exclusively in Svatove region. Specifically, in the area of Stelmakhivka and Novoselivske, where there is only one civilian left in both settlements. The enemy also launched airstrikes on Stelmakhivka and Bilohorivka. In every sector of the frontline, Ukrainian troops are on the defensive, preventing the occupiers from advancing. Nevske, Dibrova, and Bilohorivka were shelled by artillery.

Luhansk Military District Administration reported that in the occupied part of Svatove region, russians are robbing farms. If owners are unable to provide russian-type documents for ownership, including due to the owner’s evacuation, the invaders simply take combines, trucks and other expensive equipment.

The occupying state institutions of Kreminna do not have such expensive equipment, so the russians take documents from there away from danger.

Not for the first time, relatives of Luhansk residents forcibly mobilized by russians have appealed to the pseudo-authorities to abide by russian legislation. Men from Luhansk oblast over the age of 50 remain in the service of the occupiers, while those of the same age from the russian federation get demobilized on time.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

KCMA reported that the 17th attack of the russian federation on the capital since the beginning of May took place, which the russian occupiers carried out exclusively with Shahed barrage ammunition. According to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 29 out of 31 UAVs were destroyed. Most of them were hit on the approach to Kyiv.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that in Holosiivskyi district, as a result of falling debris, a fire broke out on the last two floors of a 24-storey residential building. A 33-year-old woman was killed, 11 people injured, and 5 people hospitalized. A private house caught fire in Darnytskyi district as a result of falling debris. In another 5 districts of the city, debris damaged cars and non-residential buildings.

Andrii Nebytov, Head of the National Police of Kyiv oblast announced that 17 residential buildings, including citizens’ apartments, were destroyed in Kyiv oblast after the night attack. In one of the residential areas, as a result of the attack, people received shrapnel wounds, head injuries and bruises. The vast majority of damage in houses is related to broken walls, windows, doors, and furniture. By the morning of May 30, citizens had already received more than 50 reports of damage to houses, apartments, office premises, shops, garages and cars.

Andrii Nebytov, Head of the National Police of Kyiv oblast, said that measures to build up the region’s defense are ongoing. According to him, many fortifications have been created to protect the oblast, thermal imaging cameras installed, and special police units are well equipped. In addition, measures are constantly being taken to prevent subversive activities at the border, as well as training on the rapid creation of checkpoints and evacuation of the population.

On June 10, a concert dedicated to fallen artists “Angels of Art” will be held in Kyiv in the colonnaded hall of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. In this way, the Philharmonic will join the international marathon in memory of Vasyl Slipak to honor all fallen artists-warriors. The Renaissance chamber orchestra of the Mariupol Chamber Philharmonic will take part in the concert.

An exhibition of the works by young artists Colors of Victory as part of the ArtArmor.Children project was opened at the War Museum in the capital on the occasion of the International Children’s Day. Little artists, whose works were chosen by secret ballot, transferred their drawings to real armor plates from the front. According to the organizers, armor plates with children’s drawings will be included in the international project ArtArmor, demonstrating the children’s vision of war.

Zhytomyr oblast

The State Emergency Service of Zhytomyr oblast reported that another 22 forced migrants arrived by train from Donetsk oblast to Zhytomyr oblast. 14 IDPs were resettled on the territory of Yarun community of Zviahel region, the rest decided to settle on their own. In total, 315 IDPs, including 98 children, have already found shelter in Zhytomyr oblast since April 19.

On April 29, a presentation of the Center for the Protection of Children Victims of Violence, which will work according to the Barnahus model, took place in the media center of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration. The main task of such centers is to minimize the traumatic impact of a pre-trial investigation on a child who has become a victim of violence or is a witness to a crime. Zhytomyr oblast became the sixth region of Ukraine to implement this model for child protection.

41 mobile teams of social and psychological assistance are working in Zhytomyr oblast to provide assistance to citizens who have suffered from violence, 14 of which being formed this year. Also, thanks to the state subsidy, four support services for the affected persons are functioning in the oblast. These are two shelters in Berezivka and Romanivka communities, a daytime center in Kurne community and a specialized service in Semenivka community.

The Guardian Angel action was held in Zhytomyr oblast on the occasion of Children’s Day aiming at providing psychological relief for the military. As part of the event, servicemen being treated in hospitals, together with students and teachers of the Institute of Pedagogy, painted 100 angels. All of them will be given to the children of Zhytomyr oblast.

Sumy oblast

Sumy RMA reported that the occupiers shelled 5 communities in Sumy oblast, hitting their territories 48 times. The communities of Velika Pysarivka, Esman, Shalyhine, Krasnopillia and Bilopillia came under shelling. The enemy used mortars, barrel artillery, AGS and rockets fired from a helicopter. In Esman community, the warehouse of an agricultural enterprise was damaged due to the shelling.

Sumy RMA reported that the russian military fired 32 rounds of ammunition at populated areas of Sumy oblast. This time, 7 communities suffered from the shelling: Bilopillia, Esman, Velika Pysarivka, Znob-Novhorodske, Krasnopillia, Seredino-Buda, and Yunakivka. In Znob-Novhorodske, Yunakivka and Esman regions the enemy fired mortars, there were 5, 3, and 2 explosions, respectively. The rest of the communities came under artillery shelling: there were 3 hits in Krasnopillia region, the same number in Velika Pysarivka region, and 16 shells exploded in Seredyno-Buda region.

Ksenia Piatnytsia, Head of the executive committee of Seredyno-Buda City Council,  reported that the occupiers shelled the community with mortars. A local resident received a shrapnel wound. The projectile hit the victim’s house, completely burning it down. Later, during the artillery shelling of Seredyno-Buda region, 6 residential buildings were damaged.

An anti-tank mine blew up a tractor in Mykolaiv community in Sumy oblast. The incident happened near the village of Spaske during field work – a TM-62 type mine exploded under the wheels of a tractor near a forest strip. The worker was not seriously injured.

Okhtyrka City Council reported that the work of the dispensary, destroyed by a russian airstrike, has been restored in the city. The outpatient clinic of family medicine was destroyed on March 24, 2022. Today the institution will again be able to serve more than 6 K residents of the city.

Chernihiv oblast

The ‘North’ Operational Command reported that the occupiers continue to shell the border areas of Chernihiv oblast. In the morning, the settlements of Semenivka and Horodnya communities came under shelling. In Semenivka community, the russian army shelled the villages of Karpovychi – 3 hits, Yanzhulivka – 5, and Leonivka – 3 hits. The enemy also shelled the village of Senkivka of Horodnya community – 5 explosions. Shots were probably fired from mortars.

The Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that two russian soldiers were sentenced to 10 and 11 years in prison for violating the laws and customs of war in the oblast. The convicts, a private and a sergeant, intimidated the civilian population by simulating their execution. The crimes took place during the occupation of the village of Yahidne, one of them happened in front of a young child.

Chernihiv police completed a pre-trial investigation into the murder of two Ukrainians by russian soldiers during the temporary occupation of Chernihiv oblast. The crime took place in March 2022 in the occupied village of Sloboda: a russian army soldier shot two unarmed civilian men, suspecting them of belonging to the Armed Forces. The person involved has been identified.

A charity fair was held at Prylutky Lyceum in support of the Armed Forces, and more than UAH 30 K was collected. The students, their parents, teachers and residents of the neighborhood took part in the event. The money will go to help the 164th battalion of the 119th OBR TrO. Woven camouflage nets s, and charms made by children will be given to the soldiers.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

At night, defenders from the ‘East’ Air Command shot down a drone over Dnipropetrovsk oblast.

Two cruise missiles were detected over the territory of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Residents of the oblast were reminded that they are not allowed to record air defense operations and publish them on the Internet, or make any comments about them.

133 children with mine injuries have undergone rehabilitation in Dnipro. A medical facility provides free physical and psychological rehabilitation for children affected by the war. Much attention is paid to their psychological state. A total of 387 young IDPs have applied for help. Over a year of treatment, more than 800 patients aged 0 to 18 will receive help.

Vinnytsia oblast

Modular houses for internally displaced persons will be installed in Voronovytsia village in Vinnytsia oblast. The project will be implemented with the support of Czech partners. The housing will be provided to disabled IDPs from Donetsk oblast. One modular house is capable of accommodating 40 people.

At a meeting with a delegation of representatives of American non-governmental companies, the deputy heads of the oblast said that due to its geographical location, Vinnytsia oblast has become a major logistics hub since the first days of the full-scale invasion. 15 to 20 K people fleeing the war were hosted every day. As many IDPs stayed, the population of the oblast increased by almost 12 %. This, in turn, has increased the workload on the social sector, healthcare, and education. 

Kirovohrad oblast

During the City Day celebrated last weekend in Oleksandriia, UAH 1,746,000 was raised to purchase vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Poltava oblast

During numerous missile attacks on the oblast last year, 111 missiles and 14 drones were fired. Almost half of them were shot down. In 2022, 280 civilian objects in 13 communities were damaged, 149 of which were residential buildings. The estimated amount of damage to civilian objects was UAH 96.1 billion. According to the report for implementing the Economic and Social Development Programme for Poltava oblast for 2022, 50% of these facilities have been fully restored as of the beginning of the year.

Cherkasy oblast

On the night of May 30, the russian drones were detected over Cherkasy oblast, and air defense forces were on alert.

Since the summer of 2022, students and teachers of Cherkasy Sanatorium School No. 14 have raised UAH 100 K at an auction of painted shell casings, boxes, and tubes. 

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Zaporizhzhya RMA reported that on May 29, russian troops conducted 65 attacks in 14 towns and villages: air strikes hit Huliaipole and Mala Tokmachka. UAVs attacked Novoandriivka, Charivne, Olhove, Kamianske, three times with MLRS, three times with Novodanilivka and Yegorivka, 55 artillery strikes were conducted in Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Malynivka, Bilohiria. There were no casualties.

Energoatom said that at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia oblast), the russian occupiers have increased pressure on employees and are forcing them to sign a contract with the russians under torture. 

Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol reported that russians in the occupied Melitopol have introduced a number of innovations related to forced passportization. In particular, without presenting a russian passport, it is impossible to receive free medicines and other medical services. All patients will be entered into the russian database, which will be accessible only to those who have a russian passport. 

In the morning, massive power outages were recorded in Zaporizhzhia oblast. More than 46 K consumers were cut off from electricity. The power supply was restored in the afternoon. This was reported by Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo.

The representatives of the  Vasamuseet museum reported that specialists from the Swedish Vasa Museum helped document a unique part of Ukraine’s cultural heritage: several sunken ships that are in the museum of the Khortytsia National Reserve

Mykolaiv oblast

Last night, air defense forces destroyed two attack drones in Mykolaiv oblast. The RMA stated that there were no casualties.

According to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, russian shelling has damaged a pipeline supplying water to residents of the Ptahofabryka neighbourhood in Snihurivka town.

On the banks of the Dnipro-Bug estuary between Luparieve and Lymany, two men in a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport hit an anti-personnel mine. Both men sustained injuries of varying severity. Medics are providing them with qualified assistance.

Vitalii Kim, Head of e Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration,  held an online meeting with Stephan Weil, Prime Minister of Lower Saxony, Oleksii Makeev, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Federal Republic of Germany, and Iryna Tybinka, Consul General of Ukraine in Hamburg,  During the conversation, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the regions, including future projects in the field of construction, production development, logistics, irrigation, and the opening of joint ventures in Mykolaiv oblast.

Odesa oblast

The threat of missile strikes and kamikaze attacks remains high for Odesa oblast. The enemy, having rotated missile carriers in the Black Sea, continues to keep its “Kalibr” missiles ready. The South Operational Command reported that as of 9 pm on May 29, one surface and three submarine missile launchers were on watch in the sea, with a total volley of up to 16 “Kalibr” missiles.

Korporatsia Monstriv, the Odesa-based charity foundation, was ranked 9th in the ranking of the largest donors to the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the full-scale invasion. According to New Voice, the ‘monsters’ raised UAH 231 million. Kateryna Nozhevnykova, Director of the foundation, stated that this was a good result for a small team of 12 people.

Kherson oblast

According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, on the morning of May 30, russian troops shelled Kizomys, wounding an 84-year-old woman. She was hospitalized with a mine-blast injury and a back injury. 

In Kherson oblast, a 27-year-old fisherman was blown up on a russian mine on the banks of the Ingults near Velyka Oleksandrivka. The man lost part of his leg. He is currently in hospital, his life is not in danger.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, said that on May 29, russian troops fired 52 times at the de-occupied Kherson oblast with artillery, mortars and drones. Kherson was hit 10 times. The shells hit residential areas. One person was killed. 

According to the General Staff, the russian army struck Kachkarivka, Mylove, Kozatske, Burhunka, Lviv, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Komyshany, Dniprovske, Kizomys and Kherson.

In Skadovsk region, russian occupiers are conducting mass raids, checking residents’ documents and phones. They are trying to intimidate the locals and identify those who are helping the Armed Forces. 

The National Resistance Center reported that fortifications in the left-bank Kherson oblast were built by brigades from belarus. The russian occupiers had to engage them in engineering works, as the locals refused to work. 

Roman Mrochko, Head of the CMA said that the new generator was installed in Antonivka to provide water supply to the residents. Now there will be three generators in the village, this increasing the amount of water for the locals.

The firefighters of Liubymivka received a new special vehicle. The brand new Mercedes is equipped with the necessary hoses, radios, fire suits and helmets. The assistance was provided by Norwegian philanthropists from Norsk Ukrainsk brann- og ambulansestøtte (NUBAS).

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Lutsk City Council held a meeting with representatives of the Alps Resilience international charity organization. The issue of IDPs’ life in Lutsk community and their needs and the possible cooperation of Lutsk City Council with Alps Resilience were discussed.

Zakarpattia oblast

The RMA held a meeting with representatives of Priashiv self-governing region. They discussed the development of the economy, entrepreneurship and agriculture.

Zakarpattia received humanitarian aid (8 generators, 8 canisters for them and 6 laptops) worth about EUR 12K from the Family Support Fund of Pryashiv Self-Governing Region.

In Zakarpattia,  Hennadii Belov, an employee of the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve, purchased a night vision sight for his colleagues who are members of the Ukrainian military now. To do this, the man had to give up almost two pensions as he is a working pensioner. Before the purchase, he talked with the military to determine the needs and choose the appropriate model of the device.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Ruslan Martsinkiv, Head of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, announced that the 78th battalion of the 102nd brigade of territorial defense of Ivano-Frankivsk received 2 drones with thermal imagers.

Two new child development spaces have appeared in the oblast thanks to the cooperation of  the Save the Children international organization and the Donbas Prykarpattia NGO.

5 children of fallen Heroes went on vacation under the Care for the Hero’s Family project. 56 children of fallen Heroes have participated in the project.

Lviv oblast

The first Ukrainian-Israeli summit “Physical and Psychological Rehabilitation in Ukraine. Experience of Israel – UIRS 2023″. This is a large-scale international conference dedicated to sharing experience and best practices of physical and psychological rehabilitation.

Volunteers of Sokilnytsk community sent five cars, a trailer and spare parts to the military. For the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they sent racks for machine guns and camouflage nets, for the 24th separate territorial defense brigade named after King Danylo and the 80th separate amphibious assault brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent vitamins, juices, sweets and food.

Educators of Novoyavoriv community sent humanitarian aid, namely, medicines, goodies, anti-mosquito sprays and camouflage nets, to the defenders.

At a charity concert in Dobromylia, over UAH 80K was collected for a car and a mobile bath for defenders. The event was held by volunteers Halytski Batiary, the Volunteers and Veterans of ATO (Anti-terrorist operation) NGO, Association of Ukrainians in Italy, the We are Invincible CF.

In Lviv region, UAH 24 K was collected to repair cars from the front line. 12 K was donated during the charity concert of the Obroshin Park brass band on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Obroshin Art School. The young theatergoers of Cats of Havatovich from Kamianka-Buzka gave the same amount for repairs after the premiere of the The Language of Khveska play.

The First Medical Association of Lviv performed eight operations and numerous blood transfusions to save the child from Kharkiv. 11-year-old Artem was playing football when the russians attacked his yard with cluster bombs. The shelling began suddenly, Artem did not have time to hide. The boy received an open mine-explosive injury to the chest and abdominal cavity and damage to internal organs. He was in a coma for the first three days.

Rivne oblast

Another safety classroom has been opened at Hoshchan Lyceum. This is already the 41st safety class in Rivne oblast. Here, children learn about fire and mine safety, traffic rules and civil defense. In particular, the class will introduce to the basics of a safe environment and how to act in emergency situations.

In Rivne, a race of BRAVE and a charity fundraiser were held to purchase a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise drone for the grenade launcher platoon of the 110th separate mechanized brigade. The military of the Volyn operational group took part in the race.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil oblast is preparing for the new heating season. It was possible to significantly reduce consumption of natural gas by 18% thanks to the modernization of boiler rooms and thermal overpasses. 36 boiler houses of the oblast are equipped with powerful generators that will allow uninterrupted operation in the event of a power outage. By replacing pumping equipment, it was possible to reduce power consumption by 40%.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The RMA reported that 67 IDPs arrived in Khmelnytskyi from Kherson oblast by evacuation trains, 33 of them being accommodated on the territory of the oblast.

A mobile service station created on the basis of the GAZ-66, which includes vulcanization equipment, tire fitting, welding equipment, equipment presses, a plasma cutter, a grinding machine with a grinder and sets of various tools, was sent to the soldiers thanks to the Avanhard CF, the Valiza Dobra NGO and the Volunteer Community Let’s Help Together.

Modul-Ukraine sent 1 pair of Konus KonusPY-13 binoculars, 3 KonusPY-14 digital monoculars, MSA Left/Right MED photography headphones, 3 Lenovo IdeaPad L3 15ITL6 laptop computers, 2 Lenovo Tab MIO (3rd Gen) 4/64 Wi-Fi Storm Gray tablets to the military.

Chernivtsi oblast

Chernivtsi RMA held a meeting with Karolina Lindholm Billing, Representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine, and representatives of the office in Ukraine. The result of the meeting was the signing of a memorandum on cooperation between the RMA and UNHCR.

Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Senator, called for cluster munitions and ATACMS missiles to be provided to Ukraine and expressed hope that the Ukrainian counteroffensive would be a great success.

Andrzej Duda, Polish President, signed the law on extending the legal stay of refugees from Ukraine. It is extended until August 31, 2024, and for those studying or taking exams – until September 30, 2024.

The largest aviation exercises in the history of NATO will begin in Germany. About 250 planes and helicopters will take part in the exercises, of which about a hundred are from the US Air Force. Ingo Gerharz, inspector of the German Air Force, noted that the exercises should demonstrate the allies’ readiness to react quickly if necessary.

American actor Misha Collins, known for his role as Castiel in the TV series Supernatural, came to Kyiv. He supported Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale invasion and became the ambassador of UNITED24.
