Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:

The russian army carried out a missile strike with an S-300 missile on civilian infrastructure in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk oblast. They carried out 35 airstrikes and conducted 4 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements in  Kherson oblast. Civilians were affected, and private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Ukraine is still under the threat of missile and airstrikes.

The russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts towards Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka. The russian military carried out over 30 attacks in these front areas. The fiercest battles are raging near the cities of Bakhmut and Mariinka.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, there are no signs of offensive group formation. Certain units of the russian armed forces remain in the republic of belarus’ shooting ranges.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the russian army continues to maintain a military presence in the border areas with Ukraine. Among them are Vremivka, Novopil, Donetsk oblast; Malynivka, Huliaypole, Mykilske, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia oblast; Dudchany, Antonivka, Dniprovskoe, Bilozerka, Berehove, Kherson oblast and the city of Kherson were shelled.

There is mass dissatisfaction among the locals of temporarily occupied Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia oblsat, whom the russian occupation administration “evacuated” to Berdiansk. People complain that the russians have placed them in terrible living conditions, in buildings without windows, lighting, hot water, or furniture. In addition, Russian soldiers have indefinitely prohibited “evacuated” citizens from returning to the city of Tokmak.

Russian occupation forces continue to suffer significant losses on the battlefield. As a result, the russian army equips civilian educational institutions in temporarily occupied territories as medical facilities. For example, in Luhansk, the premises of three local hospitals have been completely arranged by russian soldiers as military hospitals for lightly and moderately injured combatants.

Under the pretext of evacuating civilians, russian troops continue to export looted property from front-line settlements in Zaporizhzhia region. In Energodar, russian military personnel completely looted all of the city’s medical institutions, and all medical equipment in the city was taken to the temporarily occupied Simferopol in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. All enterprises located in the industrial zone near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant were completely looted.

He praised the work of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

Luhansk oblast

Relative silence was observed towards Svatove for several days. But yesterday russians tried to improve their tactical position there. On our part of the front, the enemy is acting more cautiously in terms of attacking, compared to Bakhmut. In the region, regular troops are on the offensive. Yesterday, they tried to attack near Stelmakhivka and Bilohorivka and once again were stopped by Ukrainian soldiers. Stelmakhivka, Makiivka and Bilohorivka were under artillery and mortar attacks.

According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the invaders do not think not only about the future, but also about the present. They need to carry out forced certification, they ordered to tighten the screws and they are doing it. Doctors are under another pressure. They need to receive Russian passports between May and June. In the absence of this document, people will first be summoned for questioning by the so-called “Ministry of State Security of the LPR” and then dismissed. There are not enough medical workers to treat injured soldiers, not to mention civilians who in many cities and villages cannot even count on primary care. But the figures are the most important thing for them.

For many months, the invaders have been promising to compensate people for their destroyed property, but only in words. It took several weeks to collect the necessary documents and stand in line. So after overcoming all the obstacles, the great majority was denied or they silently accepted the documents without saying anything about the deadlines.

Ukrzaliznytsia plans to rename 9 railway stations in Luhansk oblast as part of the de-russification of its infrastructure.
