War in Ukraine today: latest news, May 1, 2023 (photo)

It has been the 432 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression.

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

On May 1, the russian federation launched another massive missile attack on civilian targets in Ukraine. The russian aggressor cynically continues to use terror tactics.

In total, during the day, the enemy launched 19 missile strikes (Ukrainian defenders successfully destroyed 15 enemy cruise missiles of the Kh-101 and Kh-555 types), 13 air strikes and MLRS 13 attacks. Unfortunately, there are killed and wounded civilians, including children. Residential high-rise buildings, private houses, schools, hospitals, kindergartens and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

There is still a high threat of further missile and air strikes across Ukraine.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations towards Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka – over 30 enemy attacks were repelled over the day. Bakhmut and Marinka remain at the epicenter of the fighting, yet Ukrainian soldiers are bravely holding the line.

No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected towards Volyn and Polissia.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy continues to keep a certain number of troops in the areas bordering Ukraine. There was an air strike with guided aerial bombs on the village of Lizunivka, Chernihiv oblast, killing a child. In addition, mortar and artillery shells targeted the settlements of Leonivka, Krasnyi Khutir, Hremiach, Novhorod-Siverskyi in Chernihiv oblast; Seredino-Buda, Shostka, Khodyno, Iskryskivka, Volfyno, and Sadky in Sumy oblast, as well as Udy, Hoptivka, Strilecha, and Hatne in Kharkiv oblast.

The enemy did not conduct any offensive towards Kupiansk. The settlements of Fiholivka, Zakhidne, Lyman Pervyi, Kyslivka, Kupiansk, Krokhmalne, Berestove in Kharkiv oblast were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

Towards Lyman, the enemy tried to improve its tactical situation, conducting unsuccessful offensive near Novoselivske and Bilohorivka. There was an air strike on the settlements of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka and Spirne. Makiivka, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk oblast and Verkhnekamianske and Spirne in Donetsk oblast were subjected to enemy artillery fire.

The enemy continues to conduct offensive actions towards Bakhmut. Fighting continues in the town of Bakhmut. The enemy also conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards Predtechine. There was an air strike on Bakhmut and Bila Hora. Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Kostiantynivka, Diliivka and Pivdenne in Donetsk oblast were shelled.

Towards Avdiivka , the enemy conducted offensive actions near Pervomaiske, Donetsk oblast, and was unsuccessful. There was an air strike on Avdiivka. Settlements of Avdiivka, Lastochkine, Pervomaiske and Karlivka in Donetsk oblast were hit.

Towards Marinka, the enemy continues to attack the positions of Ukrainian defense forces. Fighting for Marinka continues. Heorhiivka, Donetsk oblast, also came under enemy fire.

Towards Shakhtarsk, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions. Settlements of Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Novoukrainka in Donetsk oblast were shelled.

The enemy continues to conduct defensive actions towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. During the day, the enemy fired on Vremivka, Novosilka, Novopil in Donetsk oblast; Malynivka, Huliaipole, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka and Zelenyi Hai in Zaporizhzhia oblast, as well as Ivanivske, Kozatske, Osokorivka, Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Beryslav, Vesele, Odradokamianka, Tyahyntsi, Bilozerka, Kizomys and the city of Kherson. 

Aviation of the Defense Forces conducted 4 strikes on buildups of enemy personnel, and rocket and artillery units hit a control center, 2 buildups of weapons and military equipment, 2 ammunition depots and 1 fuel and lubricant depot of russian forces.

The press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine informs that a nighttime rocket attack on Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk oblast, damaged more than 100 apartment buildings and private homes. Nine educational institutions and five shops were also damaged. 

Yurii Malashko, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, says that  families with minor children are being evacuated in Zaporizhzhia region. It is known that 74 children were taken in April.

Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko announces that as a result of a massive russian missile attack, the network infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson oblasts was significantly damaged. It takes several days to completely repair the damage.


Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the occupiers fired mortars and artillery at at least 11 settlements in Kharkiv oblast. In particular, Udy, Hoptivka and Kupiansk came under attack.

In the village of Tsyrkuny near Kharkiv, smashed russian equipment and civilian cars were collected and displayed, most of which the occupiers took from the community. “We started collecting the cars to record what kind of vehicles the russian occupiers were using,” said Ihor Kuzmenko, First Deputy Head of Tsyrkuny village military administration.

Kucherivka village of Kupiansk region and Vovchansk town of Chuhuiv region were under fire from the occupants. As a result of the shelling of Kucherivka, a 65 years old civilian man was wounded and his house destroyed. A 57-year-old man was wounded in Vovchansk. Both were hospitalized in moderate condition. In addition, at least three private houses and outbuildings were damaged by shelling in Kupiansk region.

According to Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Japanese Fuminori Tsuchiko, who immediately after the start of the full-scale russian invasion traveled thousands of kilometers to help people and later opened FuMi Caffe in Saltivka district, where almost five hundred free meals are prepared daily for citizens and residents of the region, received a large freezer, other necessary kitchen appliances and several tons of food to help his team continue to help people. Fuminori Tsuchiko sold all his property in his native Japan and came to Kharkiv to support the Ukrainian people.

russian occupiers continued to shell the border and frontline settlements of Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kupiansk regions. In particular, Kupiyansk, Vovchansk, Strilecha, Veerynarne, Dvorichna, Lyman Pershyi and other settlements were under enemy fire.

In Kupiansk, as a result of hostile fire from Grad multiple rocket launchers, the buildings of a medical institution were damaged and a medical vehicle destroyed. At least 14 private households and a 5-storey residential building were also damaged. In the village of Bohuslavka, Izium region, a private house and an outbuilding were damaged by enemy shelling. There were no casualties.

Donetsk oblast

The head of the CMA said, in Avdiivka, a man, an electrician of the municipal service, remains under the rubble of a building hit by russian troops on April 30. He clarified that the russian military hit a non-residential building. It is currently impossible to dismantle the structure completely without special equipment. Barabash also said that an 81-year-old woman who has been trapped in the basement since April 28 has not been rescued from the rubble of another five-storey building. It also became known about the third person who remains under the rubble in Avdiivka. This is a woman born in 1956.

Avdiivka came under fire 7 times near Donetsk – shells hit the residential sector and the territory of Avdiivka Coke Plant. During the day, Mariinka and Krasnohorivka were shelled – a 2-storey building was damaged again. The shelling of Ocheretyn community continued throughout the night.

Towards Horlivka sector, 3 people were wounded in Bakhmut. A house in Toretsk and a house in Vasiukivka, Soledar community were damaged. The outskirts of Chasiv Yar community are under fire.

Towards Lysychansk, 3 houses in Zvanivka were damaged, and Torske and Zarichne, Lyman community were shelled.

According to Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of Donetsk Military Administration, over the past day, russians wounded three civilians in Bakhmut. in April, 47 people were killed and 134 others wounded by russian army shelling in Donetsk oblast. Most of the casualties were in Sloviansk, Bakhmut and Kostiantynivka.

Luhansk oblast

On April 30, the russians did not conduct any offensive actions towards Lyman or Kupiansk. However, the number of artillery attacks has not significantly decreased.

The Luhansk RMA reported that it has been about seven months since Ukrainian troops liberated Nevske, but the village is under almost continuous fire from the russians. The russian army fired at Novoselivske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka yesterday. In turn, the Ukrainian military skillfully use the available artillery, delivering striking retaliatory attacks. Thanks to aerial reconnaissance, they regularly have the latest coordinates on the enemy’s location. 

The russian army continues attempts to replenish its losses in manpower at the expense of prisoners. In particular,  up to 200 convicts are being trained for weeks at a training ground near Luhansk. The personnel of the commandant’s company, which will provide security for this contingent, have been ordered to open deadly fire in case of any attempts to escape or disobedience.

Recently, the irreversible losses of residents of Luhansk and its environs forcibly mobilized to the russian army amount to about 70 people a day.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

According to Serhii Popko, Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, at night, during a massive missile attack in Kyiv airspace, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed all enemy missiles and kamikaze drones. The air raid lasted about three hours. The attack was carried out from Tu95MS strategic aircraft. In total, 18 cruise missiles were launched at Ukraine overnight.

Memorial service was held in Kyiv honoring the memory of famous lawyer and soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Polivodskyi. A renowned Ukrainian lawyer volunteered to join the army on the first day of the full-scale invasion. Oleksii held a junior sergeant rank, and served as a radio operator. He was killed near Bakhmut on April 21. The funeral service was held at St. Michael’s Cathedral in Kyiv.

Police of Kyiv oblast received a gift in the form of operational trucks provided by the Howard Buffett Foundation. 5 Iveco flatbed multifunctional trucks will be used to record russian war crimes.

Another 8 war-affected high-rise buildings are being rebuilt in Irpin. The work is carried out under the program of the Energy Efficiency Fund “Restore the House”. As of today, buildings in six oblasts of Ukraine are being restored under this program.

Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that cultural and educational events will be held in Kyiv from May 1 till May 7. The projects include a speaking club from the Teach in Ukrainian Initiative, art therapy from the volunteer platform SpivDiya, tactical first aid training, a personal appointment with a psychologist from the Kyiv City Center for Gender Equality, etc.

Bucha City Council reported that the largest landfill in Bucha was examined. Among the items found there were unexploded high-explosive shells, gun barrels from self-propelled artillery systems, and burnt cars. The garbage was sorted and removed. The city council noted that the disposal of this landfill is part of the UN development program for emergency recovery.

Zhytomyr oblast

According to Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, in the morning, the enemy attacked one of the industrial enterprises in Zhytomyr oblast with missiles. One of the company’s buildings was damaged. Parts of a russian Kh-101 missile were found at the scene.

A cluster element from a Uragan MLRS was found in Zhytomyr oblast. A dangerous device was found in the forest near Staseva village by a local resident and destroyed by EOD specialists.

Anti-aircraft gunner-record holder from Zhytomyr oblast was killed in eastern Ukraine. Andrii Liniychuk, call sign “Celt”, an anti-aircraft gunner of the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade, was the most effective in his field shooting down 16 Eagles, a Zala drone, and even a Ka-52 combat helicopter. He was awarded the  “For Courage” Medal.

According to Zhytomyr Regional State Administration, another evacuation train with residents of Bakhmut, Pokrovka, Kramatorsk, and Dobropillia communities has arrived in Berdychiv. Overall, 45 residents arrived, including 19 children. People were provided with shelter in premises prepared in advance.

Mayor Serhii Sukhomlyn reported that a batch of Matrice 300 drones has been purchased for our defenders in Zhytomyr. Powerful and reliable systems were delivered to the 46th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Sumy oblast

According to Sumy Regional Military Administration, yesterday, the enemy once again shelled the communities of Sumy oblast, striking 54 times at oblast settlements. A private house in Seredyno-Buda community was damaged as a result of artillery shelling. The enemy fired 10 missiles at Seredyno-Buda, damaging three private houses and a gas station. Znob-Novhorodske community was shelled with mortars and Grad MLRSs, and Esman region – with artillery.

The State Emergency Service of Sumy oblast reported that on April 30, the enemy shelled the village of Druzhba in Shostka region, as a result of which a fire broke out in a private house. The fire was neutralized.

In the morning, the enemy launched a missile attack on Shostka. Three Kh-101 missiles landed on production facilities of one of the enterprises. The buildings were partially destroyed. Missile fragments found at the scene are painted red: experts say the weapon is a training one and is being tested.

During the night and morning, the russian troops attacked 5 communities in the oblast. Mortar (2 bombs) and artillery (3 shells) fire was applied on Seredyno-Buda community. Three mortar bombs were dropped on Znob-Novhorodske community. As a result, a house was damaged. The enemy fired 4 mortar bombs at Myropillia region, the same number of bombs landed in Bilopillia region, and 3 more explosions were heard in Yunakivka community.

Two Nekrasov streets in Hlukhiv community were renamed in honor of warrior and scientist Yurii Kovalenko. The defender was an archaeologist, a researcher of Hlukhiv, the author of more than 70 scientific publications, and a musician. He fought as a member of the 16th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the 58th Ivan Vyhovskyi Mechanized Brigade. Streets named after him are located in Hlukhiv and Nekrasove village. 

Chernihiv oblast

On April 30, the enemy attacked the border villages of Chernihiv oblast. Leonivka, Khrinivka, Oleksandrivka, Krasnyi Khutir, Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Yeline, Arkhipivka, and Hremiach came under fire.

According to the ‘North’ Operation Command, the russians shelled the border areas of the region once again. At night, Yanzhulivka and Halahanove villages of Semenivka community came under mortar fire. By morning, 17 shells, possibly fired from barrel artillery, were recorded in the village of Hremyach, Novhorod-Siversk community. As a result of the shelling, an old building of a village church caught fire.

According to Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that during the day, the russians attacked Lizunivka village in Novhorod-Siversk region with two guided missiles. As a result of the attack, a child was killed. In the afternoon, russian missiles hit a non-operational educational institution in a village. A child was killed and two civilians were injured.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Chernihiv oblast reported that rescuers in Chernihiv oblast have received aid from Nova Ukraine, USA. This aid includes diesel generators, heat guns, digital radios, flashlights, fire hoses, and clothes.

Talalaiivka community reported that in Pryluky region, UAH 15 K was raised for the Armed Forces during a charity concert. Students of the Center for Children and Youth Creativity held a charity concert titled “We are Free Children of a Free Country” in support of the defenders of Ukraine. 

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

According to Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the regional council,  the military from the ‘East’ Air Command shot down 7 missiles. The enemy attacked Pavlohrad and Pavlohrad region twice during the night. In Pavlohrad, an industrial enterprise, 19 apartment buildings, 25 private houses, 3 schools, 3 kindergartens, and half a dozen shops were damaged. There are also damaged buildings in other communities: about 40 houses in Verbky TC,  2 in Yuriivske TC, and a school in Mezhyrich TC.

Serhii Lysak, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration  reported that 34 people, including 5 children, were injured in a missile attack on Pavlohrad region. The youngest girl is only 8 years old. The people have bruises, fractures, cuts, wounds, contusions, and poisoning from combustion products. Two women, aged 45 and 55, are in intensive care. 

Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, informed that 6 Hyundai ambulances were delivered to Dnipro from Seoul, Korea, via Bremerhaven, Germany. This is humanitarian aid from the Republic of Korea.  The vehicles are fully equipped and have undergone full maintenance.

Vinnytsia oblast

The Vinnytsia City Council reported that Serhii Morhunov had once again handed over a drone to the military of the 120th Brigade of the Territorial Defense. This is a piece of essential equipment for reconnaissance groups or fire adjustment. 

The children’s rock band Contra Bass released a music video called “My Hero”. The song is dedicated to the pilots who defend Ukrainian skies from russian missiles.

Kirovohrad oblast

Andrii Kolomiitsev, Head of the community, said that the residents of Pryiutivka community handed over a quadcopter and camouflage nets to the Ukrainian military. 

Poltava oblast

Poltava oblast received a new batch of humanitarian aid for internally displaced people from UNICEF. It includes more than 1,300 hygiene kits for mothers and children and more than 800 packs of nappies. Each kit contains feminine hygiene items, washing powder, water purification tablets, and soap.

Residents of the village of Pishchane handed over a humanitarian aid package to Ukrainian defenders. They delivered food, hygiene items, children’s drawings, artwork, and cards with sincere wishes.

Cherkasy oblast

Veterans from Cherkasy region took part in the Invictus Games. The captain of the Cherkasy team, Petro Kostiuk, won a gold medal in archery and a bronze medal in tennis. For him, the Invictus Games are primarily about support, brotherhood, relief, and meeting his comrades, no matter what oblast they are from.

Ihor Taburets, Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration  said that 10 vehicles with different functions were sent to the defenders from Cherkasy oblast. 

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

On May 1, russian military once again struck the front-line town of Huliaipole with aviation. Three people were injured.

On April 30, russian military launched 122 strikes on residential and civilian infrastructure in Polohy and Vasilivka regions in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The russians used drones, multiple launch rocket systems, artillery, and aviation strikes. The russian army shelled Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Preobrazhenka, Poltavka, Novoiakovlivka, Novoandrivka, Novodanylivka, Huliaypilske, Mala Tokmachka, Olhivske, Charivne, Malynivka, Bilohiria, Zatishshia, Staroukrainka, Pryvilne, Temyrivka, Chervone, Shcherbaky, and Kamianske.

The General Staff reports that the enemy continues attempts to replenish its losses in personnel by using captured individuals. Recently, about 400 such individuals recruited by the Wagner PMC arrived at one of the occupiers’ field camps in Berdiansk region.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that the previous night, from 02:09 to 02:20, the enemy launched artillery strikes on the waters of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.

Mykolaiv utilities continue to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. More than 100 facilities were damaged.

Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reports that in Mykolaiv oblast, 11,670 residential buildings have been destroyed or damaged as a result of the hostilities. At the same time, local authorities are cooperating with international organizations and countries to restore a number of facilities at the expense of foreign partners.

Odesa oblast

The ‘South’ Operational Command reported that in Odesa oblast, on the night of April 30 to May 1, there was a prolonged air raid alert, but no shelling. However, there is still a high threat of enemy missile strikes and kamikaze drone attacks in Odesa oblast. In the evening in the Black Sea, as the storm decreased, the enemy group of 11 ships was supplemented by two submarine missile launchers, the total volley of which can reach up to eight Kalibr missiles.

In Odesa, Recovery, an innovative rehabilitation center for wounded soldiers was opened on the basis of a state hospital department.

Employees of the Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine in Odesa oblast were trained by HEMS, the Polish Aeromedical Evacuation Service.

Three new machines for repairing heating networks were received by Odesa City Heating Utility under the USAID Energy Security Project.

Kherson oblast

Today, russian artillery shelled the village of Tiahynka. As a result of the enemy attack, about ten residential buildings were damaged. According to preliminary information, no one was hurt.

On April 30, russian occupiers shelled peaceful settlements in Kherson oblast 39 times. They fired 163 shells from artillery, multiple rocket launchers, mortars, drones, and aircraft. russians attacked Kherson 8 times, firing 41 shells. About 20 explosions were recorded in the central part of the city. Enemy shells damaged 23 multi-storey buildings, 2 administrative buildings, a healthcare facility, and 3 educational institutions, including 2 kindergartens, a bank, office premises, and a café. As a result of russian aggression yesterday, one person was killed, and three others wounded, including one child.

As of May 1, significant damage has been inflicted on the network infrastructure of Kherson oblast due to shelling by russian forces. More than 11K consumers in Kherson and 7,100 in the oblast are without power. As a result of another massive strike on Ukraine on April 30 and the night of May 1, there is significant damage to the distribution networks in Kherson oblast. Full restoration will take several days.

The police, together with volunteers and the authorities, evacuated 366 children from the settlements of Kherson oblast, shelled by the russian army. The russians have intensified shelling of the occupied settlements of Kherson oblast, especially Bilozirka and Dariivka communities, coastal villages of Berislav region, and the suburbs of Kherson. Evacuation measures from dangerous areas are being organized. The largest number of evacuees are from Kherson region – 137 children were taken out, 131 children from Beryslav region, 69 from the suburbs of Kherson, and 29 children from two villages of Kakhovka region.

The largest shelter in Kherson city with a high degree of protection has been installed in the area where free hot meals and basic necessities are provided. Thus, there is the largest concentration of people. The length of the structure is 9 meters, the thickness of the walls is 30 cm. Up to 30 people can hide in the shelter at the same time.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Since the war began, the oblast has received 77 462 internally displaced persons. Last month, 303 people were resettled in Volyn. Among them, the largest number came from Donetsk (38%), a smaller number of citizens evacuated from Zaporizhzhia (15%), Kherson (14%), Kharkiv (12%) and Luhansk (10%) oblasts. Currently, 53 565 people in Volyn have the status of IDPs. This amounts to 38 349 families, in which 15 602 are children.

Zakarpattia oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Zuzana Caputova, President of the Slovak Republic. Current and potential projects aimed at improving the living conditions of IDPs were discussed.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The AZOV. ANGELS OF MARIUPOL exhibition is dedicated to the memory of the soldiers of the Azov regiment killed during the defense of Mariupol and Azovstal. The author of the exhibition is Vira Lytvynenko, the mother of fighters with the callsigns Vektor and Vakhr.

Lviv oblast

Anesthesiologists of the First Medical Association of Lviv completed a three-day course on providing medical aid to the wounded in combat conditions (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) with the support of the All-Ukrainian Resuscitation Council.

In Zolochiv region, the family of a military man who is currently performing combat missions in Dnipropetrovsk oblast sent a car, food, hygiene items and other assistance to the front.

For the first time, Lviv oblast hosted the All-Ukrainian stage of the Invincible Games. 223 defenders and veterans who were injured, sick or disabled during the defense of the state took part in the competition. 24 participants will be selected for the national team of Ukraine. They will take part in the VI international sports competitions Invictus Games-2023, which will be held in September in Germany.

Rivne oblast

During the 431 days of the war, there were 387 air raids in Rivne oblast. In April, there were only 5 alarms (26 alarms were in March); the longest alarm was recorded on April 28 (1 hour 50 minutes); the shortest alarm is on April 20 (18 minutes); the maximum number of days without alarms is 8 (a ‘silence mode’ lasted from April 4 (14:43) to April 13 (11:31).

The Rivne City Council held a meeting regarding services to vulnerable groups of the population on the basis of primary care within the framework of the USAID Project Supporting Health Care Reform.

Over 700 chipboards were sent from the oblast to Zaporizhzhia oblast. The assistance will speed up recovery work and reconstruction of affected regions. Zaporizhzhya RMA reported that residential buildings and objects of critical infrastructure will be prioritized.

According to the RMA report, accessibility will be developed in six areas in Lviv oblast: physical, informational, digital, educational, economic and social.

Ternopil oblast

11 communities of Ternopil oblast received 16 powerful generators thanks to the initiative of USAID and coordination of the DOBRE Program.

Ternopil oblast sent two mobile machines to Kharkiv and Mykolaiv oblasts thanks to the MOST-Ukraine, Ukrainian representatives of the American woodworking equipment Wood-Mizer company.

Mykhailo Dianov donated UAH 1.8 million to his brother for rehabilitation. Lieutenant Bohdan Kush fought in the 95th separate amphibious assault brigade. He has received complex injuries near Izium and  requires long-term treatment and rehabilitation.

The RMA reported that soldiers, children and foresters planted 1 hectare of forest in Ternopil oblast.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

From April 21 to April 27, 166 evacuees arrived in Khmelnytskyi from Zaporizhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv oblasts. 1 420 kg of clothes were issued to 545 IDPs at the clothing distribution point at Khmelnytskyi RMA.

Chernivtsi oblast

The RMA sent a minibus and a trailer confiscated by the court decision to an airborne assault brigade. In addition, a drone, a generator and military first-aid kits were sent to a separate brigade of the Bukovyna Territorial Defense Forces.
