It has been the 386 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm: 

The enemy launched 2 missiles and 16 air strikes, as well as 25 MPLS attacks.  

Ukraine is still under the threat of missiles strikes. 

Towards Volyn, Polissia, Siversk and Slovoda, the operational situation did not significantly change. The russian army shelled the vicinities of settlements of Berylivka, Tymonovych, Chernihiv oblast, Atynske, Volfyne, Stepne, Kindrativka, Pokrovka, Hrabovske, Sumy oblast, Lemischyne, Kozacha Lopan, Hlyboke, Hatysche, Budarky, Ambarne, Kamyanka, and Zapadne, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupiansk and Lyman, the russian army conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Hrianykivka, Kreminna, Kuzmyne, Verkhnokamyanske and Spirne. They fired from artillery at the vicinities of settlements of Dvorichna, Hrianykivka, Krokhmalne, Kharkiv oblast, Nevske, and Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, the russian army continues to assault the city of Bakhmut. Ukrainian troops repelled russian attacks in the vicinities of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, and Hryhorivka. Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Hryhorivka, Novomarkove, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Maiorsk, Zalizne, and New York, Donetsk oblast, were shelled by russian soldiers.

Towards Avdiivka, Mariinka and Shakhtarsk, the russian military conducted unsuccessful offensives towards Kamianka, Avdiivka, Nevelske, and Mariinka. Russian soldiers are preparing to resume their offensive on Vuhledar. Kamianka, Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Vodyane, Nevelske, Netaylove, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Heorhiivka, and Vuhledar, Donetsk oblast were shelled by the russian army.

Towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the russian army is on the defensive. Russian troops shelled the vicinities of settlements near the front line, including Malynivka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Mali Scherbaky, Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia, Zaporizhzhia oblast, Zolota Balka, Beryslav, Vesele, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Zymivnyk, Dniprovske, Kherson oblast, and the city of Kherson.

Russia continues to export looted grain from Ukraine. According to reports, a russian self-propelled barge loaded with wheat was being transported by tugboats from the seaport in the city of Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Residents of the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast continue are forced to obtain passports. Thus, in the city of Tokmak, the russian so-called “authorities” put in office by the occupation forces, together with representatives of the russian federal security service, threaten local citizens of Ukraine rejecting russian passports with deportation of their children to the eastern oblasts of russia. The parents themselves are threatened to be taken to Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Ukrainian Air Force launched 7 air strikes on the concentrations of russian troops and military equipment.

Ukrainian rocket troops and artillery units attacked 3 command posts, 2 buildups of troops and military equipment of the russian army, 2 radar stations, and 1 fuel and lubricant depot.

According to Danylo Kubailo,  first secretary of the permanent mission of Ukraine at international organization in Vienna, russia launchd almost 5K missiles at Ukraine. Russia also launched 3500K airstrikes and almost 1100 UAV attacks on Ukraine. As a result of these russian actions, a number of casualties among civilians is growing daily. 

The online platform to help people affected by war was launched in Ukraine , according to the Ministry of Reintegration. Due to the information provided by the resource, people can can find the required service easier and faster. “The platform hosts all key services rendering psychological, legal and social support to Ukrainians. There are booklets and information resources which can help civilians identify negative consequences of violence and timely address it”, they informed. 

According to the Ministry of Energy, There is no deficit in the energy system. Energy is generated in required amount and capacity to provide its supply yo all consumers in Ukraine. However, blackouts can be implemented in Zhytomyr oblast following russian strikes.


Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian invaders tried to attack Hrianykivka. 11 settlements were shelled.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that russians launched 63 missiles from self-propelled artillery systems at Hryhorivka, Kupiansk region, destroying 3 residential buildings. The enemy also shelled Vovchansk once again, damaging residential buildings.

Yevhen Ivanov, deputy head of the regional administration, said that more than 320 units of agricultural machinery were destroyed in the region as a result of the war and there is its shortage now.

Yesterday, russian invaders shelled Kharkiv city and the border settlements of Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Kupiansk regions. In Kharkiv, a S-300 missile damaged an educational institution, several cars and broke windows in a residential apartment building. There were no casualties.

At least 3 private residential buildings were damaged as a result of shelling of Hatysche village in Chuhuiv region.

In Lemischeno village of Zolochiv community, massive shelling destroyed 7 private buildings and infrastructure facilities.

Yesterday pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined about 1 hectare of territory and defused 88 more explosive ordnance.

Donetsk oblast

Serhii Cherevatyi, spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported during the marathon that Ukrainian defense forces eliminated 225 russian soldiers and injured 306 towards Bakhmut. Yesterday, russians attempted to attack in this area 42 times, firing 256 times at the positions of the Defense Forces with various types of weapons. According to him, russian troops attempted to attack towards Bakhmut in Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka and Ivanivske.

Forced evacuation continues in Bakhmut. Currently, less than three thousand people, including 33 children, remain in the city.

In the afternoon, russians shelled Kostiantynivka twice with Uragan cluster munitions, injuring 6 civilians, including a foreign volunteer. At least 19 buildings, a school and an enterprise sustained varying degrees of damage.

Russians shelled Kostiantynivka intensively, using Tornado-C and Uragan systems. Six people were injured, a school, 5 apartment buildings, 20 private buildings and 11 civilian cars damaged. Ukrainka, Pokrovsk community, was also hit by Smerch MRLs. There were no casualties.

Towards Volnovakha, Bohoiavlenka was shelled at night, without any casualties.

Towards Donetsk, a man was injured in Hostre of Kurakhove community and a private building damaged in Zoriane of Marinka community. Komyshivka in Novohrodivka community was hit by a missile, a residential building was damaged, no casualties.

Towards Horlivka, 1 person was injured in Illinivka, 3 private buildings, a kindergarten and an inclusive resource centre were damaged. It was loud on the outskirts of Toretsk, Chasiv Yar and Soledar communities. At least 1 civilian was killed and 1 injured in Bakhmut, the city is holding the line despite non-stop hostile attacks and shelling.

Towards Lysychansk, 2 people were lightly injured in Zvanivka, where private buildings on three streets were damaged. Also, buildings in Pereizne were damaged on the territory of the community.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk RMA, reported that yesterday russians killed 1 civilian in Bakhmut. One more person was injured.

Luhansk oblast

Towards Kupiansk and Lyman, the enemy keeps trying to break through the defences of our troops. They conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Bilohorivka.

They attacked Bilohorivka, Dibrova, Nevske and Novoselivske with artillery.

According to CNN, Ukrainian troops shot down a Chinese Mugin-5 drone in eastern Ukraine. Such drones were available for sale for up to $15K on Chinese websites, including Alibaba and Taobao. It was upgraded for military purposes. The manufacturer, Mugin Limited, confirmed to CNN that it was their drone and added that the incident of russians upgrading their drone was “very sad”.

Referring to the Luhansk RMA, the invaders no longer take Popasna into account officially. The settlement is not among the city and municipal districts. The so-called ‘luhansk people’s republic’ demands that people quickly refuse from Ukrainian citizenship.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

According to the Prime Minister of Latvia Kristianis Karinsh at a joint briefing with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in Kyiv, Latvia advocates the start of negotiations regarding Ukraine’s membership in the EU already this year, and regarding joining NATO, immediately after the victory in the war. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the situation at the front and providing weapons for Ukraine at a meeting with Krishyanis Karinsh.

Oleksandr Tkachenko, the Minister of Culture and Information Policy, reported that the Croatian Minister of Culture Nina Obulen Korzinek and her team arrived in Ukraine. He thanked for the cooperation between Ukrainian and Croatian institutions in the field of preserving and restoring the cultural heritage of Ukraine.

For the first time in Ukraine, a child who suffered a war injury was prosthetically treated at Okhmatdyt, Kyiv. A 6-year-old girl lost her leg in May 2022 during the shelling of her home in Kherson oblast. Maryna has been undergoing treatment and rehabilitation for 10 months now. According to the hospital, the girl’s artificial limb was improved and shaped exactly like a real leg, which will help her overcome her psychological fear and help her socialize among her peers.

The regional police reported that in Bucha region, local residents found a box of ammunition belonging to russian invaders on former enemy positions. EOD specialists examined this dangerous item and found 75 M-6 mortar bombs and boxes with initiators.

A new administrative service center was opened in Borodianka to replace the one destroyed in the first days of the full-scale russian invasion. The new center has been provided with suitable hardware and equipment. This project was implemented with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine with financial support from the EU.

Three apartments in one of the high-rise buildings in Bucha were repaired after they were destroyed by a russian shell during the storming of the Antonov airport. This became possible with the assistance of the International Renaissance Foundation and the charity CARE Deutschland e.V., and the repairs were carried out as part of the Humanitarian Solidarity initiative.

Andrii Nebytov, the head of the Kyiv police, reported that four state-of-the-art canine vehicles provided by the Howard Buffett Foundation were demonstrated in Obukhiv district. Each vehicle is designed to transport four police dogs and four dog handlers at once. According to him, last year, Kyiv police officers, together with sniffer dogs, responded to more than 1,400 calls in the oblast. Kyiv police employ 55 dogs working in different areas.

Benjamin Hall, a journalist for the American Fox News channel, has published a book entitled “Saved”. He survived russian shelling in Kyiv oblast, but sustained serious injuries. In the book, he talks about his experience as a reporter in dangerous combat areas, as well as his recovery from a serious injury. On Sunday, 19 March, Fox News will air the documentary film Sacrifice and Survival: A Story From the Front Line based on the book by Benjamin Hall.

Zhytomyr oblast

According to the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, stabilisation power outage schedules have been introduced in Zhytomyr oblast. Yesterday, due to a shortage of electricity in the power grid, power supply to some water and sewerage facilities in the city was suspended.

The communication platform “Education of Zhytomyr Oblast: The Year of Invincibility” was held at the Zhytomyr Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education. Vitaliy Bunechko, the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, said that since the beginning of the full-scale war, educational institutions have arranged more than 15,000 places and hosted more than 20,000 refugees, almost 90% of institutions are equipped with various types of shelters thanks to the joint work of the SES, the National Police, and teachers.

The vehicle fleet of fire and rescue units in Zhytomyr oblast has been expanded with new special vehicles purchased in Europe by philanthropists specifically for the SES. The SES reported that two special vehicles were transferred to the EOD team, and three fire tankers were transferred to the fire and rescue units.

Sumy oblast

According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the russians shelled 4 communities: Krasnopillia, Khotin, Shalyhine, Nova Sloboda. In total, there were 14 attacks from various types of weapons. As a result of mortar shelling, the office of an agricultural company in Khotin community was destroyed, and a private building in Shalyhine community burned down.

The enemy continues shelling Ukrainian territory, Bilopilska community came under enemy fire in the morning. According to the regional military administration, there were 23 artillery shells and 110 shots fired from an AGS grenade launcher.

A two-day seminar “Integration of IDPs in territorial communities of Sumy oblast: opportunities for entrepreneurs” is being conducted in Sumy oblast. The event is organised by the Regional Development Agency with the financial support of the International Organisation for Migration. The event was attended by internally displaced persons from Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Kherson oblasts who are currently living in communities in Sumy oblast.

Chernihiv oblast

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports that the enemy continues shelling the border areas of Chernihiv oblast. Snovsk, Semenivka, and Horodnia communities of the oblast came under enemy fire. In total, there were 34 mortar bombs fired.

Employees of the Chernihiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office serve notice of suspicion to 15 Russian servicemen. All suspicions are related to crimes committed by russian troops during the occupation of Yahidne village in March 2022. They threatened people with firearms, evicted them out of their homes and shelters and forced them to go to the basement of the school, where they were held for a month, using people as human shields. Due to inhumane conditions and lack of access to medical care, 11 people died in the basement. The website of the Office of the Prosecutor General published the texts of the suspicions, which include the names of these russians. All of them are from the Republic of Tyva, most of them from the city of Kyzyl.

More than two thousand students who fled Chernihiv oblast to other regions of the country due to the war have returned. The majority of children switched from remote to full-time education. According to the education department of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, more than nine thousand children have been abroad since the beginning of the full-scale war.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

On March 15, around 4:00 p.m., russian troops shelled Marhanets, Nikopol region, with rocket salvo fire systems. Enemy shells hit the residential quarter and the houses of local residents. Two women aged 61 and 56 were killed as a result of the shelling. Five more people were injured. They received the necessary medical assistance.

The press service of the Dnipro City Council reported that a man found the warhead of a Kh-101 cruise missile during a walk in the Novi Kodaky district of Dnipro. Specialists took it to a safe place and detonated it.

The head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA Serhii Lysak reported that rehabilitation centers for military personnel are planned to be created on the basis of hospitals in Dnipro, Pavlohrad, Kamianske, and Novomoskovsk districts. In total, more than 200 people will be able to receive help there at the same time. Moreover, there will be a hundred more places for children.

Vinnytsia oblast

​​Vinnytsia RMA reported that the German charitable foundation “Help Ukraine” will help Vinnytsia overcome the consequences of missile attacks.  

In Estonia, Diana Podolianchuk, a volunteer from Vinnytsia, co-organizer of the International Night project, co-founder of the volunteer center “Shakina” and founder of the Charitable Foundation, reported that thanks to the “International Night” charity event in Estonia, 3,000 euros were collected for the Armed Forces. Volunteers from Vinnytsia also took part in it, sending rings made from the barrel of a knocked-out russian T80-BVM tank for a charity auction. 

 According to the deputy head of the regional council Ihor Ivasyuk, the representatives of the International Organization for Migration handed over 38 100-liter and 5 50-liter boilers to 29 centers of accommodation for internally displaced persons and two communities of Vinnytsia – Dzhuryn and Orativ, more than 173 thousand internally displaced people are officially registered in the communities of the region. 50 thousand of them are children.

Kirovohrad oblast

The Oleksandria regional administration, in cooperation with the Territorial Defense Forces, launched the “For participation in the national resistance” award for volunteers.

 A portal for collecting data on the needs of internally displaced persons in places of compact living was developed in Kirovohrad oblast. The project was implemented by the “Safe Future” charitable foundation with funding from UNICEF.

Poltava oblast

The “Caritas Poltava” charitable foundation provides humanitarian assistance to internally displaced persons with disabilities. This was announced on the official website of the charitable foundation. Persons with disabilities of groups I and II can receive aid. People who do it for the first time or who do not receive assistance after December 2022 can apply.

 Dmytro Lunin, the head of Poltava RMA, said that 2,823 people were recruited to perform public works in Poltava oblast within the “Recovery Army” project. 

Ihor Horzhiia, head of the State Environmental Inspection of the Central District, reported that the occupiers caused damage to the nature of Poltava and Cherkasy oblasts worth UAH 145 billion 

Cherkasy oblast

Deputy Mayor of Cherkasy Maryna Harkava said that the”Hands of Goodness” charity event will be held ​​on March 21 at 3:00 p.m. The funds for the needs of female soldiers who protect the territory of Ukraine will be collected during the event. It was initiated by young people with disabilities from the “Center for complex rehabilitation for persons with disabilities “ZHAGA Zhyttia”, who made lots with their own hands in order to collect funds for the needs of women defenders.

According to Ihor Taburets, Head of the Cherkasy State Administration, more than 200 objects, including residential buildings, educational and cultural institutions, catering establishments, and enterprises have been damaged since the beginning of the full-scale war. 25 of them have been restored. 

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The enemy  47 times fired on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. They attacked with artillery and multiple rocket launchers, aircraft and enemy drones. The residential infrastructure of the Polohi and Vasylivka districts, as well as power lines in the Zaporizhzhia district were damaged. The information about one wounded person was received.

From April 1, russians tightened the access control regime throughout the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region. The occupiers claim that it will be impossible to enter and leave the cities without a special permit. In addition, the passes will be required even for transit routes, as without them, people will not be able to pass through checkpoints on the highways. It may take several weeks to get the permit. Such passes can be obtained only by car owners and, of course, only if they have a russian passport.

Forced passportization continues in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia region. In Tokmak, the occupation administration and representatives of the FSB threaten local residents with taking away their children if they refuse to receive russian passports. The children are threatened to be forcibly taken to the eastern regions of russia, and their parents to Vasylivka.

Zaporizhzhia hospitals received aid from international organizations, medical and children’s products and generators.

The Red Cross Society sent aid to Zaporizhzhia rescuers, sleeping kits, stoves, blankets and pipe sets. All of this should help the State Emergency Service employees do their job and save lives.

Mykolaiv oblast

In recent days, a milk truck and a GAZ-53 truck have hit landmines in the Shyrokivska territorial community in Mykolaiv oblast.

The fleet of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv oblast has been replenished with four SsangYong all-wheel drive pickup trucks, donated to the State Emergency Service by representatives of the Korea International Cooperation Agency and the Government of the Republic of Korea. Some vehicles will be converted into operational pyrotechnic vehicles, while others will be transferred to the operational coordination center of the Main Directorate.

Two communities in Mykolaiv region received 20 kW generators. In the event of a blackout, these devices will be able to supply light and heat to critical infrastructure.

Bridges are being rebuilt on the de-occupied territory of Mykolaiv oblast. A bridge over the Ingulets River in the Bashtanka district has already been opened. The project was funded by AWT Bavaria through the UNITED 24 crowdfunding platform.

In the village of Myrne in Mykolaiv region, local villagers who have already returned to their homes damaged by enemy shelling are helping soldiers on the front line as much as they can. In the only surviving kitchen in the village, housewives cook home-made delicacies for our defenders and raise money for fuel and ammunition. And this is despite the fact that they themselves live in destroyed houses and are waiting for help with construction materials.

Odesa oblast

The mayors of Odesa and Yokohama signed a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation in the field of sustainable development. As part of the Memorandum, Yokohama will provide technical and technological support for the restoration and development of Odesa’s critical infrastructure with the involvement of various companies, including the state-owned Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Tarutino Central Hospital has received a surgical table from the German company GIZ Ukraine. This is not the first assistance from international partners.

The Odesa Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church continues to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Boxes of food and goodies for soldiers in the hottest spots have been assembled and are ready to be shipped.

Kherson oblast

According to the Kherson RMA, yesterday, russian troops fired 88 times at the territory of Kherson region. The invaders fired 413 shells from mortars, multiple rocket launchers, artillery, tanks, UAVs and infantry fighting vehicles. Residential areas of Kherson were shelled by the russian army 5 times, three people received injuries of varying degrees of severity due to russian aggression.

Those who refuse to give up their russian documents are threatened with having their vehicles taken away.

The American charity “Samaritan’s Purse” donated a generator for a heating center in the village of Naddnipryanske in Kherson oblast. Previously, the charity has donated diesel generators, heaters, Starlinks and TVs to equip three heating centers in the Kherson oblast.

A 10-year-old schoolgirl from Kherson paints paintings and helps the Armed Forces. Her paintings were put up for auction to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. One of the paintings has already been sold for UAH 1,350.

76 982 displaced people have been resettled in Volyn since the war  began. 56 225 people have the status of IDPs. This amounts to 40 101 families, in which 16 623 are children.

The RMA held a meeting of the Regional Defense Council. They discussed the system of interaction of the defense forces within the oblast and the financial support of the Volyn military.

Zakarpattia oblast

Fedir Sandor, deputy of the regional council, handed over a flag signed by soldiers of the 68th battalion of the 101st brigade to Oleksandra Chizmadia, representative of the General Consulate of Hungary in Uzhhorod.

Khmelnytskyi rescuers conducted a safety lesson for children with special educational needs. UNICEF’s printed products, developed jointly with the Emergency Situations Service, which constantly accompany Safety Lessons for Children, will allow the material to be secured.

Chernivtsi oblast

Ruslan Zaparaniuk, Head of the RMA, and Aleksandru Viktor Mikula, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Ukraine, took part in the meeting of the Ukrainian-Romanian Working Group on Customs and Infrastructure. During the meeting, the plan for the development of the checkpoints was presented and discussed.

Rescuers from Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk oblast took part in the opening of a training center in Romania. In the future, a joint program and training plan will be developed on the basis of this Center with the involvement of representatives of the State Emergency Service.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced the results of the tenth Ramstein meeting:

  • the coalition of countries that provide Ukraine with Leopard tanks continues to grow. So far, 9 countries have committed to provide over 150 Leopard tanks;
  • NATO countries are ready to provide Ukraine with more air defense, armored vehicles and ammunition;
  • Sweden will provide Ukraine with 10 Leopard tanks and key air defense components;
  • Norway cooperates with the US to transfer NASAMS systems to Ukraine;
  • The Netherlands initiates new contracts to ensure the delivery of new weapons to the battlefield in Ukraine;
  • Slovenia announced a contribution that will help “satisfy several priority needs of Ukraine, including armored vehicles.”

 

Denmark announced another aid package to Ukraine, it will include ammunition, anti-tank mines and missiles for air defense worth over $140 million. The new military aid package for Ukraine includes:

  • gun ammunition: cartridges of caliber 5.56 mm for pistols;
  • additional 12.7-mm large-caliber machine guns;
  • an additional large number of anti-tank mines;
  • flame extinguishers and ignition tubes for 155-mm artillery ammunition;
  • additional missiles for air defense systems;
  • works for defuse bombs in the amount of 21 pieces;
  • 15 military generators;
  • 8K hats and 15K sets of waterproof clothing;
  • 6 hangar tents;
  • 9 mobile workshops for the repair of larger military equipment.

 

Germany sent another package of military aid to Ukraine. The updated list of aid provided is published on the website of the German government. The new military aid package for Ukraine includes:

  • 5K artillery shells of 155 mm caliber and 155 mm high-precision ammunition (the quantity not specified);
  • ammunition for MARS II multiple rocket systems (quantity not specified);
  • 2 forklifts;
  • 4 mobile antenna-mast systems;
  • 500 SFP9 pistols;
  • 2 hangar awnings;
  • 25 generators.

 

Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US, at the briefing after Ramstein, emphasized that during the meeting, the goals of the Ukrainian leadership were discussed and they will be achieved. Milli said that the US will continue to help Ukraine in the war against the russian federation.

Lloyd Austin, US Defense Minister, said that he admires the efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the defense of Bakhmut. If the troops are ordered to regroup, it will not mean the war is lost.

Andrzej Duda, President of Poland, announced that his country has sent 4 MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense of France reported that the AMX 10-RC tanks promised by France at the beginning of January have arrived in Ukraine.

Estonia announced another package of military aid to Ukraine. The package includes semi-automatic rifles, sniper rifles, optical sights, binoculars, ammunition, personal and special equipment, patrol boats and thermal imaging cameras and medical equipment. The total cost of military aid is worth EUR 494K.

Israel will sell defense systems to Ukraine against Iranian shaheds. This is the first military agreement since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Volodymyr Zelensky met with Lauren Powell Jobs, American entrepreneur and philanthropist. They discussed the importance of preserving global unity around supporting Ukraine.

Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Thierry Burkar, Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of France held a phone conversation. They discussed strengthening of air defense and training of the Ukrainian military.

Prime Minister of Latvia Arturs Karinsh arrived in Kyiv.

Ukraine and the EU have extended the “transport visa-free” for another year.

Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of Poland, reported that his country is ready to develop energy cooperation with Ukraine by extracting gas in western oblasts and creating an energy bridge Rzeszow, Khmelnytskyi NPP.

Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, the Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine, reported that Turkey conducts negotiations on extending the “grain agreement” for 120 days instead of 60, which the russian federation offers.

FIFA football simulator will no longer have russian-language dubbing of matches. This was confirmed by the russian commentator Kostiantyn Henich, whose recorded phrases were used during matches in the football simulator.

Ukraine won the Miss Universe costume contest. Viktoriia Apanasenko’s costume “Warrior of Light” won the online vote for the best national costume.

The New York Times in the first column published a photo of a border guard saying goodbye to his family at the station in Kramatorsk. After a year of separation and a short vacation together, they had to say goodbye again. Yana and her daughter said goodbye to her beloved husband Oleksandr at the Kramatorsk railway station. The family, like hundreds of other families, was separated by the war.
