It has been the 466th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

Tonight, the enemy used Kh-101/Kh-555 air-based cruise missiles and Iranian strike UAVs “Shahed-136/131”. According to the detailed information, the forces of the air command in cooperation with the air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 4 out of 6 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and 6 out of 8 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.

The enemy launched 7 missiles and 25 air strikes, carried out about 20 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. There are victims among the civilian population, private residential buildings, educational institutions, and other civilian and administrative infrastructure have been damaged. 

Ukraine is still under the threat of missile and air strikes. The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on full occupation of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The occupiers launched 23 attacks, but all of them were repelled by units of the defense forces. 

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the operational situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of offensive group formation have been detected. 

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the border areas with Ukraine. Today, the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to use sabotage groups to penetrate the territory of Ukraine in the area of Zelene settlement of Kharkiv region, launched a missile strike in Vovchansk region and airstrikes in Ivashka, Ohirtseve, Hatishche regions, Kharkiv oblast. 

They carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the settlements in Karpovych, Chernihiv oblast; Znob-Novgorodske, Shevchenkove, Brusky, Oleksandrivka, Sadky, Basivka, Hrabovske, Sumy oblast, as well as Ivashki, Udy, Chervona Zoria, Hoptivka, Krasne, Zelene, Staritsa, Ogirtseve, Gatyshche, Pletenivka, Vovchansk, Karaichne, Budarky and Chugunivka, Kharkiv oblast. 

The enemy launched unsuccessful offensive operations in Novoselivskyi, Luhansk oblast. Kolodiazne, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dovhenke, Kutkivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kislivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka, Berestov, Kharkiv oblast and Novoselivske, Luhansk oblast came under enemy artillery and mortar fire. 

Towards Lyman, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast. Areas of settlements near the front line of Makiivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast and Verkhniokamianske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Donetsk oblast were hit by artillery fire. 

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy launched offensive operaions towards Ivanovo, without any success. He carried out airstrikes in Vasiutynske, Toretsk, and Northern Donetsk region districts. Areas of settlements of Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Khromov, Chasiv Yar, Ivanovske, Stupochki, Predtechine, Bila Hora, Diliivka and New York, Donetsk oblast were affected by enemy artillery shelling. 

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations towards Avdiivka. They launched an airstrike towards Avdivka. The enemy shelled from artillery the regions of Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka settlements, Donetsk oblast. 

Towards Mariinka, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the area of the city of Mariinka. However, our defenders repelled all 16 attacks of the enemy. At the same time, the enemy launched an airstrike at the Mariinka settlement. They carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Hostre, Marinka, Pobyeda of the Donetsk region. 

Towards Shakhtarsk, the enemy shelled the settlements bordering the front line, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, and Novoukrainka, Donetsk oblast. 

The enemy continues to conduct defensive operations towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. They launched the airstrikes at Beryslav and Vesele districts, Kherson region. They shelled from artillery the settlements of Vilne Pole, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Temyrivka, Donetsk oblast; Olhivske, Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Stepove and Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia oblast, Kozatske, Tiahinka, Ivanivka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Kherson oblast and the city of Kherson. 

The russian occupiers continue to suffer heavy losses in manpower. One of the divisions of the russian occupation forces, operating in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kharkiv region, received reinforcements from the number of former convicted citizens of the russian federation in the amount of about 500 people during the week. Due to the strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the enemy’s positions, about 100 people from among newly arrived reinforcements suffered injuries of varying degrees of severity, specifically non-life-threatening injuries. About 80 people voluntarily left their positions. 

The air defense forces of Ukraine struck 10 airstrikes on personnel buildup areas during the day. Our defenders destroyed 1 enemy reconnaissance UAV. TheChildren of War platform informed that since the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine began, 485 children have died. Over 1,005 minors were injured of various degrees of severity. 

The Ministry of Defense reported that over 60,000 women are defending Ukraine. Over 42,000 of them are servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.


Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a russian subversive and reconnaissance group attempted to cross the state border near Zelene. Russia also launched a missile strike near Vovchansk and airstrikes in Ivashkiv, Ohirtseve and Hatyshche towards Sloboda.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that a monument to the children of Kharkiv oblast, who were killed as a result of russian aggression, was installed in downtown. Over the 15 months of the criminal war, russians have killed 76 children in the region. The youngest victim of putin’s crimes was only 5 months old. More than 200 of our children were injured. These statistics continue to grow.

The Regional Prosecutor’s Office said that the enemy launched a missile attack on the outskirts of Chuhuiv on 4 June at around 6 pm. According to preliminary information, it was D-9 MA type air-to-surface missile. It hit a forest area, there were no casualties.

Viktor Kovalenko, head of Zolochiv community, informed that russian troops shelled a centre for children and youth creativity with artillery on 4 June at 2:30 pm. A 40-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were injured.

According to the Regional Prosecutor’s Office this morning, the enemy once again massively shelled Vovchansk, Chuhuiv region. The city’s administrative building was damaged, 2 buildings and outbuildings partially destroyed. A 62-year-old and a 74-year-old woman were killed as a result of the strikes. Also, around noon, russia attacked Pishchane, Kupiansk region, and a 58-year-old woman was injured.

In addition, in the morning, russian helicopters shelled Ivashky village, Bohodukhiv region. There were no large-scale destructions or casualties.

As a result of the morning tank shelling of Huriv Kozachok village, Bohodukhiv region, there was a direct hit to the building of the House of Culture, which sustained significant damage.

There were no attacks in Kharkiv yesterday. The enemy continued to shell the border and frontline settlements of Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, Bohodukhiv and Izium regions.

In Petropavlivka village, Kupiansk region, a civilian industrial facility, a private building and outbuildings were damaged.

In Ivashky village, Bohodukhiv region, a farm building was damaged.

In Vovchansk, an educational institution, 2 private buildings and a car were damaged.

As a result of shelling in Pershotravneve village, Izium region, a private building was damaged and a 74-year-old woman injured.

Donetsk oblast

Oleksandr Zhuravlov, head of Lyman City Military Administration reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 14 children have been injured and 13 killed in Lyman community.

Towards Lyman and Kupiansk, russian troops lost three tanks and other heavy equipment yesterday. The invaders are trying to take the initiative, but are suffering heavy losses.

Yesterday Russian troops shelled 15 cities and settlements with a total of 21 attacks on civilians.

The night before, Russians shelled Hirnyk of Kurakhove community with Urahan MRLs, killing 1 person and injuring 7. Two children were among the injured. The territory of an enterprise in Sloviansk community was shelled, without casualties.

Towards Volnovakha, the enemy shelled Velyka Novosilka, no casualties.

Towards Donetsk, in addition to Hirnyk, Umanske of Ocheretyne community was under attack, damaging a building and agricultural machinery.

Towards Horlivka, 2 people were killed and 2 buildings damaged in Niu-York. Chasiv Yar was shelled; 3 private buildings and an apartment block were damaged.

Towards Lysychansk, Russians shelled Zvanivka community: a building was damaged in Zvanivka and an administrative building in Pereizne.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration informed that yesterday russians killed 4 civilians: 2 in Niu-York, 1 in Hirnyk and 1 in Siversk. Another 8 people were injured in the region over the day.

In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, locals are forced to clear their homes of unexploded ordnance on their own, as the occupation administrations ignore civilian complaints.

Luhansk oblast

Yurii Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles unmanned aerial vehicle company of the 92nd separate mechanised brigade reported that russian troops continue to storm the positions of the Defence Forces towards Kreminna and Svatove. Russians are not successful and the initiative remains on the side of the Armed Forces.

Russians attacked again near Novoselivske and Bilohorivka, but all their attempts proved fruitless. The enemy suffers significant losses and still tries to move forward. Defence Forces of Ukraine are physically and psychologically exhausting the enemy.

There were aviation strikes on Serhiivka and Bilohorivka. The invaders opened artillery fire towards Novoselivske, Makiivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka.

According to Luhansk RMA, 95 per cent of the election commissions have already been formed for the so-called first elections in the ‘luhansk people’s republic’ to be held in September, although security decisions on their holding have not yet been made by russia. A certain number of them are in cities without electricity and water.

The number of people willing to vote has decreased by 40 in Svatove region. Four dozen russian troops deserted there the day before yesterday, leaving their combat positions without permission. Two russian helicopters and a unit of the russian Guard were used to search for the deserters.

Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the Defence Forces advanced by 400 metres towards Svatove.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Kyiv RMA reported that since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, the occupiers have killed 39 Ukrainian children in Kyiv oblast alone. The memory of the innocent victims of russian aggression in Bucha was commemorated near the church of St. Andrew the First-Called Apostle. At this place, after the de-occupation of the oblast, the bodies of two children were found in a mass grave. We will remind you that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, russia has killed 485 children in Ukraine and illegally deported more than 20,000.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba announced that Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsakhna arrived in the Ukrainian capital on June 3. According to him, the main topics during the meeting with the Estonian colleague were Ukraine’s accession to NATO and sanctions against the russian missile industry and drones.

In Kyiv, two police explosives technicians, Taras Dmytruk and Roman Khomenko, prevented a large-scale explosion during one of the recent drone attacks. As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the police, risking their own lives, took the combat part of the drone out of the burning factory building in the Holosiivskyi district.

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that the UNITED24 platform has completed the first fundraising for reconstruction of the educational institution for $1.25 million. This money will be used to restore the lyceum in the village of Buzova in the Kyiv oblast, which was destroyed by russian troops. Now 452 children will be able to return to offline education.

The people of Kyiv could stay awake for 84 hours due to russian attacks. As calculated by Forbes, 32 air alarms sounded in the capital in May, 23 of them lasted at night and in the morning (from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.).

This week, a tactical medicine training for teenagers was held in Kyiv by the NGO Ukrainian Women’s Guard(UWG). The schoolchildren completed a basic 2-hour course, conducted by an experienced UWG instructor in tactical medicine and pre-medical training, a military volunteer, Maria. During the training, the participants learned how to examine a wounded person, provide him with emergency aid, learned how to move safely and evacuate from different areas according to the MARCH protocol.

241,000 children were educated in schools of Kyiv oblast during the school year. According to the regional military administration, a total of 638 educational institutions functioned in the oblast. In total, more than 15,000 people will take the National Multi-Subject Test in the oblast – these are graduates of schools in the oblast and internally displaced children.

After the completion of the educational process in Kyiv oblast, it is planned to cover about 22,340 children with summer leisure activities. Educational institutions will conduct summer camps, professional shifts, organize educational hubs, various circles taking into account security requirements.

The opening ceremony of the jubilee 20th International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival Docudays UA was held in Kyiv. This year, Docudays UA collected 53 films from 27 countries. The program also includes 28 Ukrainian films, including 14 full-length films. The festival was opened with director Alisa Kovalenko’s film “We will not fade away”, about the story of teenagers growing up in eastern Ukraine against the background of war and an extraordinary journey to the peaks of the Himalayas.

Zhytomyr oblast

Three children were killed and 12 were injured as a result of russian bombings on the territory of Zhytomyr oblast. In Zhytomyr, on Castle Hill, the memory of the children who died as a result of the armed aggression of the russian federation was commemorated. On the “tree of life” children and adults tied bells, symbolizing the souls of Ukrainian children who died at the hands of the russian invaders, and the jingle – their voices, which will ring forever in the hearts of Ukrainians.

The Regional Emergency Service reported that rescuers, police and volunteers met another evacuation train with residents of Donetsk oblast in Berdychiv. 7 more forced migrants found shelter in Zhytomyr oblast, among them 1 child and a person with disabilities. In total, since April 19, Zhytomyr oblast has accepted 322 displaced persons.

This week, the “School of Unusual Sciences” safety class was opened at Lyceum No. 3 in Zhytomyr. In the classroom, in a playful way, children will be taught how to act in emergency situations in order to save their own lives and prevent injuries. As reported in the State Emergency Service, this is the 36th class of security, which was opened this academic year in educational institutions of the oblast. Two more classes work on the basis of units of the State Emergency Service.

Sumy oblast

During the previous day, June 3, the russians launched a total of 10 attacks. 87 explosions were recorded. Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Krasnopillia, Yunakivka communities came under shelling. As a result of mortar shelling, one civilian from the Yunakivka community was injured. In Velyka Pysarivka community, artillery shelling damaged a farm building and a trailer for a passenger car.

The Air Force of Ukraine reported that as a result of the night attack by drones in the Sumy oblast, infrastructure has been damaged. According to the information of Sumy RMA, during the night and morning of June 4, the russians shelled the area with mortars, grenade launchers and Shakhed UAVs – a total of 54 explosions were recorded. Mykolayivka, Shostka, Svesa, Seredina-Buda, Yunakivka communities came under shelling.

As a result of russian shelling, the building of an agricultural company, workshop premises and two private cars were damaged in the Seredyna-Buda community, non-residential premises in the Mykolayiv community, and the territory of the city park in the Shostka community.

According to UNICEF, since February 2022, the russian army has killed more than 500 children in Ukraine, 9 of them in the Sumy oblast: Alisa Glans from Okhtyrka, 7 years old, died as a result of shelling from the URAGAN MLRS of the Okhtyrka kindergarten “Sonechko”; four children died as a result of an airstrike on a residential sector in Sumy on March 7, 2022; Yefrem, who was 1 year and 7 months old, died on March 7 together with his parents in Lebedyn – their car was hit by a russian tank; on March 24, 15-year-old Maksym was killed by russian artillery shelling of Trostianets; Bohdan Dordyk died during the shelling of the Bilopillia community on November 30, 2022, from a shrapnel wound while riding his bicycle on the way home.

Chernihiv oblast

The SBGS reported that a total of six strikes  were recorded in Chernihiv oblast: 18 explosions of artillery shells, 37 explosions of 120 mm caliber mines. Border settlements were under enemy shelling: Leonivka, Hremyach, Hay, Karpovychi.

The State Border Service of Ukraine reported that on the night of June 4, border guards in cooperation with the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 2 Shahed drones. With heavy fire from available weapons, servicemen neutralized one deadly Shahed in the sky over Chernihiv oblast, another one over Sumy oblast.

The ‘North’ Operational Command reported that the russian military continues its criminal tactics of shelling the Ukrainian border. As of 4:00 p.m., 15 hits from a 120-mm mortar were recorded in the area of the village of Karpovychi, Semenivka community.

Chernihiv’s Danish partner company, Rockwool Ukraine, plans to build 410 apartments for residents of the Masany microdistrict, whose homes were damaged or destroyed as a result of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation. The amount of investments is 23 million euros, said acting mayor of Chernihiv Oleksandr Lomako.

The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories will pay 100,000 hryvnias each to 235 Ukrainians freed from russian captivity. Among them are 84 residents of the village of Yahidne, Chernihiv oblast, whom the occupiers kept in the basement of the school for almost a month in March 2022.

Every day in Chernihiv, live music will be played at the stele in memory of fallen heroes one minute before the national minute of silence. This will be the composition “Shana”. It will be played by the artists of the military orchestras of Chernihiv and the musicians of the Chernihiv Regional Philharmonic. In the future, this composition will be able to be played by the people of Chernihiv who know how to play musical instruments.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

At about 21:00 on 3 June, russians struck Pidhorodne community in Dnipro region, hitting between two two-storey residential buildings. 2 multi-storey buildings were completely destroyed. In addition, 10 private houses, a car, a shop, and gas pipelines were damaged. 22 people were injured, 5 of them were children. Most of the injured were hospitalised. So far, 1 victim is known to have died – 2-year-old Liza.

The Ukrainian Air Force Command reported the Air Defence Forces destroyed two cruise missiles and one Shahed over Dnipro oblast at night. In total, the Air Defence Forces destroyed three drones and four cruise missiles over Ukraine overnight.

At night, the russian army shelled the city of Nikopol. No one was injured. Three multi-storey buildings, a catering facility, a car, and power lines were damaged. Two cars were destroyed.

Three children injured in a rocket attack on the outskirts of Dnipro are in intensive care: 6-year-old Davyd, 11-year-old Denis and 15-year-old Alexander. The children have multiple injuries, concussions, and fractures. All of them underwent surgery.

As of 12:00 on 4 June, 85 victims of the missile attack on Pidhorodne community in Dnipropetrovsk oblast on the evening of 3 June had reported to the police. They reported 31 damaged apartments, 23 private houses, seven cars, and 10 buildings.

On 3 June, repair crews restored power supply to 1,500 residents of Dnipropetrovsk oblast whose homes were shelled the day before. 200 families remain without electricity due to the shelling.

Vinnytsia oblast

Kirovohrad oblast

At night, the russian military hit an operational airfield near Kropyvnytskyi with two cruise missiles. During the missile attack, air defence forces destroyed three X-101/555 cruise missiles that were aimed at Kirovohrad and Dnipro oblasts. There were no civilian casualties or injuries. 

Poltava oblast

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, air defense forces were on alert during the air raid alert which lasted for more than 2 hours in the afternoon in Poltava Oblast. There were no strikes.

In the morning, a rally was held in Poltava near the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Bells were hung on tree branches in memory of the dead children. As of the morning of 4 June, 485 children in Ukraine have been killed as a result of russia’s full-scale armed aggression. More than 1,000 have been injured.

Cherkasy oblast

In Cherkasy and Uman, the memory of children who died because of russian aggression was honoured. In Cherkasy, the commemoration took place in the Yunist park. In Uman, it took place near a high-rise building that had been hit by a Russian missile. There, memorial bells symbolising the voices of the killed children were hung on trees.

Zaporizhzhia oblast

According to Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, on June 3, the russian military shelled 22 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast: twice from aircraft, 8 times from MLRS, twice from UAVs and 77 times from artillery.

On June 3, six fires broke out in the frontline settlements of the Pohoriv district in Zaporizhzhia as a result of russian army shelling, which were extinguished by rescuers.

Ivan Fedorov, mayor of Melitopol, reported that on June 3, at the turn to Zrazkove village from the Melitopol-Zaporizhzhia highway, a russian armored personnel carrier crashed into a civilian minibus. One of the passengers died on the spot. 

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration said that as of June 4, the russian military intensified shelling of Ochakiv and the waters of the Dnipro-Bug estuary in Mykolaiv region. This is how they demonstrate their presence and superiority in this area 

The beach season will not officially start in Mykolaiv and the region because there is a lot of ammunition in the water. EOD divers work both on city beaches and outside the city. The most dangerous are cluster munitions, which are detected by surface and underwater drones.

Queen Margrethe II of Denmark sent a letter to Mykolaiv children. The letter of gratitude was a response to a video birthday greeting to the Queen, which was recorded by students of Mykolaiv music schools. Queen Margrethe II was impressed that despite the war, Ukrainian children continue to develop culturally.

Odesa oblast

South Operational Command  reported that the level of missile threat in Odesa oblast remains extremely high. Missile launchers were brought back to their basing points as early as midnight, and 12 ships remain on duty. The operational situation in the area of responsibility of the “South” Operational Command remains consistently tense. The enemy is maneuvering, looking for safe locations, continues to equip the defense lines and does not stop shelling the opposite banks of the Dnipro and the Dnipro-Bug estuary.

The intensive care unit of the Bolhrad Central District Hospital in Odesa oblast has received modern expert-class lung ventilators. This modern equipment was received from the Odesa Regional Health Department. The peculiarity of these devices is that they have more than thirty ventilation modes and allow infants and adults to be connected to them, they are independent of gas or electricity supply, as they can be connected to portable oxygen cylinders.

Odesa honored the memory of children who died as a result of russian aggression. Bells with blue and yellow beads symbolizing the voices of the dead were hung on a tree in the City Garden. According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, 485 children have been killed and 1005 injured since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine. Kherson oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that on June 4, in Vesele village, russians destroyed the premises of an agricultural enterprise with guided aerial bombs. A 64-year-old woman was lightly injured in the shelling. In Beryslav, the russians hit the territory of a factory. They also fired at Kozatske, Tiahynka, Ivanivka, Dniprovske, Kizomys and the city of Kherson.

Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense and Security Forces of the South reported that in Kherson region, the Defense Forces destroyed a mortar crew and three boats on which russian military tried to move between the islands.

Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that  over the past day, russian occupants fired 56 times at civilian settlements in Kherson region: Kherson, Beryslav and Bilozerka, Zolota Balka, Zmiivka, Burgunka, Ivanivka, Dachi, Zymivnyk, Dniprovske and Kizomys. Volodymyr Litvinov, head of the Beryslav district administration said thst Novooleksandrivska and Tyahynska communities came under russian fire. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged. A transformer was damaged as a result of a drone dropping explosives on Zolota Balka. There were no casualties.

The State Emergency Service reported that Belozersk rescuers extinguished a fire in Kizomys that started on June 3 as a result of russian shelling. A residential building and two cars were on fire.

Volyn oblast

On the celebration of the last bell, which took place on June 1 in the lyceum of the village of Sukhodoly, Volodymyr community, a memorial plaque was consecrated in honor of the graduates who were killed last year defending the freedom and independence of Ukraine. A commemorative plaque was installed in honor of Yurii Shlichta, Petr Korniychuk, Vitalii Roman and Roman Yurchuk.

Zakarpattia oblast

The RMA reported that six critically important enterprises, institutions and organizations of Zakarpattia have already reserved 50% of their employees.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Children of fallen Heroes from four territorial communities of the oblast received 26 name coupons in the shape of a heart. So far, 260 children of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast have already received pendants. The action was initiated in various oblasts of Ukraine by the All-Ukrainian Military-Civil Association Military Brotherhood of Ukraine public union. So far, about 9K coupons have been handed out in Ukraine.

In Verkhovyna region, a regional mobile brigade was working to support IDPs. The task of mobile teams during such meetings is not only to tell displaced people about the possibilities of receiving help, but also to hear their problems, to do everything to make living in communities safe and comfortable for them.

Lviv oblast

Viktor Chyzh, border guard from Chervonohrad, was posthumously awarded with the 3th For Courage Order. A soldier was injured while performing combat missions near Bakhmut. He died on January 15.

A memorial plaque to graduate Borys Stepaniuk was installed on the facade of Ilkovytska School in Chervonohrad region. The soldier was killed in a heavy battle near Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast.

Residents of Chervonohrad sent two more SUVs and a minibus to soldiers in Donetsk and Luhansk oblast. Vehicles were loaded with food and other necessary things, as well as packages from relatives.

Rivne oblast

IDPs continue to be supported in Rivne oblast. Since the beginning of 2023, 724 IDPs have received the services of Rivne Regional Employment Service. Since the beginning of the year, 39 employers have already received over UAH 1,1 million in compensation from the state for employing 100 IDPs. In addition, 9 IDPs received micro-grants for their own businesses in the total amount of UAH 2.2 million.

Ternopil oblast

23K children who were forced to leave their homes due to a full-scale invasion live in Ternopil oblast. After February 24, 7 family-type children’s homes, 6 foster families and another 90 foster families also moved to Ternopil oblast.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

IAEA reported that at the beginning of this week, on May 29, an unmanned aerial vehicle was discovered near the Khmelnytsky NPP, which posed a “threat to nuclear safety” from the air.

Chernivtsi oblast

Currently in Bukovina, repair works are being completed at six facilities where IDPs will be able to be accommodated later. According to official data, about 89K IDPs live in Bukovina, of which about 41% live in Chernivtsi.

This funds will be used to restore the lyceum in the village of Buzova, Kyiv oblast, which was destroyed by russian troops.

NATO and BALTOPS partners have launched joint large-scale exercises in the Baltic Sea. About 6K military personnel from 20 countries, 50 ships and about 45 airplanes and helicopters will take part in the maneuvers.

Kaja Kallas, Prime Minister of Estonia, stated that NATO threatens not russia’s security, but russian imperialism.

Israeli activists brought photos of Ukrainian children killed by the russians to the russian embassy in Tel Aviv. “On Children’s Day, russia killed two more children in Kyiv.
