It has been the 465 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The russian federation continues to wage an aggressive war and employ tactics of terror against the population of Ukraine.

The russian army carried out 67 airstrikes and 17 missile strikes, as well as 91 artillery shelling using multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukraine is still under threat of missile and airstrikes.

Russia continues to concentrate its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. There were 29 combat engagements.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the operational situation did not change.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the russian army continues to maintain a military presence in the border areas with Ukraine. They conducted airstrikes in the area of Ohirtseve, Kharkiv oblast and carried out mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas in Yanzhulivka, Leonivka, and Hremiach, Chernihiv oblast; Novovasylivka, Seredyna Buda, Romashkove, Atynske, Bezsalyvka, Bilovody, Basyvka, Yunakivka, Pokrovka, Novodymytrivka, Velyka Pysarivka, Sumy oblast, as well as Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Veterynarne, Hoptivka, Pylna, Zelene, Verkhnia Pysarivka, Starycia, Ohir tseve, Hatysche, Pletenivka, Vovchansk, Zybina, Rybalkyne, Budarky, Zemlianky, Chuhunivka, Odradne, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupiansk, russian soldiers conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near Novoselivka, Luhansk oblast. They fired from artillery and mortar at Topolia, Dvorichanske, Kamyanka, Fiholivka, Dvorichna, Kutkivka, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Kotliarivka, Berestove in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivka, Luhansk oblast.

Towards Lyman, russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Makiivka, Luhansk oblast and Spirne, Donetsk oblast. They carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast and Ivanivka and Spirne, Donetsk oblast. Artillery shelling affected Nevske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, and Verkhniokamianske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, the russian federation conducted offensive actions towards Ivanivka but did not succeed. They conducted airstrikes in the areas of Bila Hora and Chasiv Yar, Donetsk oblast, as well as a missile strike on Druzhkivka. Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, Bila Hora, and New York in the Donetsk region suffered from russian artillery shelling.

Towards Avdiivka, the russian army launched airstrikes in the area of Avdiivka and artillery shelling of populated areas Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka, Donetsk oblast.

Russians conducted offensive operations in the area of Mariinka, but the Ukrainian soldiers repelled all 14 enemy attacks. Russians suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment.

Russian troops continue to destroy Ukrainian cities and villages. They carried out airstrikes on Mariinka and Katerinivka, and conducted artillery shelling of the populated areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Shakhtarsk, russians launched air strikes in the area of Prechystivka and shelled the populated areas of Vuhledar, Prechystivka, and Novoukrainka.

Towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the russian soldiers continue defensive actions. They conducted airstrikes in the areas of Olhivske and Novodanilivka, Zaporizhzhia oblast, as well as Vesele, Kozatske, and Odradokamianka, Kherson oblast. They also carried out artillery shelling of the populated areas of Vremivka, Donetsk oblast, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Komyshuvakha, and Novoandriivka, Zaporizhzhia oblast, Berislav and Antonivka in the Kherson region, the city of Kherson, and Ochakiv, Mykolaiv oblast.

To replenish losses in personnel, the russian federation continues to encourage its population to join the military in various ways. For example, in the town of Zorinske, Altai Territory of russia, representatives of the penal-executive service carry out explanatory work among individuals who have conditional early release from serving their sentences. They urge them to sign a contract for 3-5 months of military service.

The Ukrainian defense aviation conducted 15 strikes on the manpower buildup areas and 2 strikes on russian air defense missile systems.

The Ukrainian troops destroyed 15 cruise missiles and 17 russian attack ‘Shahed-136’ UAV  type.

The Ukrainian missile troops and artillery units hit the russia’s command post, 2 ammunition depots, 2 radio-electronic warfare stations, a radar station, and a multiple launch rocket system.

The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, announced that  occupiers of Zaporizhzhia region do not provide children with diabetes and other chronic diseases with free medicine if their parents do not have a russian passport. He also noted that russian doctors in the “ambulance” refuse to hospitalize children whose parents do not support russia.

The First Deputy Minister of Health Serhiy Dubrov announced that the Ministry of Health together with partners plan to find adoptive families for about 20% of children from orphanages. He also noted that more than 500 kids from orphanages were evacuated from war zones.


Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the russian army launched an airstrike on Hatyshche of Vovchansk border community. At least 22 settlements were shelled with mortars and artillery.

Five people were killed and ten others injured, including four children, as a result of hostilities.

According to the regional rescue department, a 40-year-old man was killed on the spot as a result of an explosion from an unknown explosive device in the forest near Sulyhivka village, Izium oblast.

The enemy launched the barrage of strikes on border and frontline settlements of Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and Bohodukhiv regions.

The enemy attacked Ivashky, Bohodukhiv region, with mortars. A 67-year-old man was killed. A two-storey apartment building, a private building and a civilian industrial facility were damaged. The shelling lasted for an hour and a half.

Yesterday, 2 private buildings were damaged and a fire broke out in Lyman, Chuhuiv region. In Oleksandrivka village, Bohodukhiv region, a building was also destroyed as a result of enemy shelling.

As a result of another attack with guided aerial bombs on Kivsharivka village, Kupiansk region, a residential building was damaged. 2 people were killed, a 61-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman. In addition, 3 elderly women and a 3-year-old boy were injured.

As a result of tank shelling in Dvorichna village, Kupiansk region, a man and a woman aged 70 and 73 were injured.

Near Morozova Dolyna and Lemishchyne, Bohodukhiv region, a car carrying a family with three children exploded on an unknown explosive device. According to updated information, a 37-year-old woman was killed. The driver of the car, a 36-year-old man, and two girls aged 12 and 15 and a boy aged 12 were injured. The boy’s condition is serious.

Mine clearance is ongoing. Yesterday, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 97 explosive ordnance.

Donetsk oblast

Hanna Maliar, Deputy Defence Minister, reported that Ukrainian troops continue to hold the southwestern outskirts of Bakhmut. Soldiers of the so-called Wagner PMC are still in the city.

Russian army continues to deploy airborne troops, the best of the combat-ready units, towards Bakhmut and the intensity of shelling remains high.

In the morning, russians attacked Sloviansk, hitting the Centre and the territory of Shovkovychnyi Park. There were no casualties.

Towards Volnovakha, a cultural institution in Velyka Novosilka was damaged and power lines were cut in Shevchenko, Komar community.

Towards Donetsk, in Kurakhove community, 1 person was injured in Hostre and 9 buildings damaged in Ostrovske.

Towards Horlivka, 2 non-residential buildings were destroyed in Chasiv Yar community, 3 apartment buildings and 3 private buildings were damaged. Toretsk was hit by an air strike, damaging the private sector.

Towards Lysychansk, 5 buildings were damaged in Siversk. In Lyman community, 3 buildings in Torske, 3 buildings and an administrative building in Yampil were damaged. In Zvanivka, 11 buildings and a medical facility and 3 buildings in Pereizne were damaged in the community.

Yesterday the invaders shelled 17 cities and villages in Donetsk oblast. A total of 16 buildings, a plant and power grids were damaged.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of Donetsk RMA, reported that yesterday 2 people were killed in Toretsk. In addition, 4 people were injured in the region yesterday.

Luhansk oblast

Yesterday, Novoselivske, Nevske and Bilohorivka were under enemy artillery and mortar attacks and later under an air strike.

The enemy made an attempt to advance near Makiivka and is continuing to try to gain a foothold in Novoselivske. However, thanks to well-built defenses and accurate work of Ukrainian artillery, all these attempts ended in significant losses for russians.

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the invaders have tightened the access regime in the occupied Luhansk oblast. In search of partisans, the number of checkpoints has increased and the Russian Guard has been brought in to reinforce them. Representatives of the latter are inspecting vehicles and checking documents at checkpoints around the clock. In addition, in May, they searched 1,500 households in the region where partisans could be hiding. They allegedly found 45 suspects.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

According to the report from Kyiv Regional Military Administration, six apartment buildings that were damaged as a result of russian military aggression are being restored in the communities of Kyiv oblast. Under the Restoration program of the UNITED24 fundraising platform, a total of 18 such sites will be restored: three houses in the Hostomel community, four each in the Dmytrivka and Borodyanka communities, as well as seven in the Irpin community. The project will allow more than 4,000 residents to return to their homes.

According to Regional Military Administration 27 families in Kyiv oblast whose homes were destroyed during the hostilities in the region will receive new housing. 5 of them are families with many children. They will receive compensation for the purchase of apartments in the cities of Bohuslav, Brovary, Boryspil, Fastiv, and Makariv.

The Olena Zelenska Foundation, with the support of international donors, will build a new home in Kyiv oblast for the Yaroslavtsev family, who left the occupied Mykhailivka, Zaporizhzhia oblast, in May 2022 with 10 foster children, their own son and five dogs. Now the family lives in in social apartments in Boryspil, the children attend schools and kindergartens, and trying to forget the horrors they experienced.

Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin informed that the shelters in Kyiv will be checked within 10 days. In addition, according to the Kyiv City State Administration, 10 mobile groups will be formed under the Municipal Security Department involving civic activists to check the condition of shelters and ensure that people have unimpeded access to them around the clock.

UNICEF together with Ukrzaliznytsia opened the largest children’s space ‘Spilno’ at Kyiv Central Railway Station. The space is barrier-free and adapted for comfortable stay of parents with children. It has booths for breastfeeding, a library, a sports and play area, a football corner, and a full-fledged science museum with railway exhibits.

The largest mural in Ukraine dedicated to literature was unveiled in Irpin, on the fence on Slovianska Street, which was restored after the shelling. It was created by artist Kateryna Vedmid. Her idea was to depict 14 prominent writers, led by the genius Taras Shevchenko, gathered at a table. Among them are portraits of Lesia Ukrainka, Volodymyr Vynnychenko, Olha Kobylianska, Ivan Nechuy-Levytskyi, and other famous Ukrainian writers.

Zhytomyr oblast

The Zhytomyr City Council reported that in Zhytomyr, all lyceums with shelters will be open during air raid alert, regardless of the time of day or weekend. However, the council noted that in case of air raid alert during school hours, only children and teachers will be able to use the shelters in lyceums.

According to Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, safe environment for studying has been created in 20 more educational institutions in 6 communities of the oblast. Almost 1,000 children will be able to start a new school year and sit down at their desks with their peers and friends.

Volunteers handed over medical equipment, masks, and bed linen to Zhytomyr Central City Hospital No.2. The aid in the amount of UAH 300 thousand came from Austria. According to Kostiantyn Holovchansky, head of the foundation, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Zhytomyr Charitable Foundation of St Panteleimon has provided 90 tonnes of aid to schools, hospitals, internally displaced persons and low-income groups in the oblast.

Training for citizens wishing to adopt a child continues in Zhytomyr oblast. The participants have the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills necessary for the successful upbringing and development of a child in a new family. According to Zhytomyr RMA, 593 adopted children live in 505 families in the oblast. However, another 679 orphans and children deprived of parental care are registered, 84 of whom have disabilities.

Sumy oblast

According to Sumy Regional Military Administration, on June 2, the enemy fired 30 times at the border areas of the oblast. There were 181 explosions recorded. Yunakivka, Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Miropillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Znob-Novhorodske, and Seredyno-Buda communities were shelled.

A civilian died as a result of mortar shelling of Khotyn community. Also, a private house and a power line were damaged in the community.

A civilian was injured in Velyka Pyryvka community, which was shelled by the enemy throughout the day with mortars and self-propelled artillery systems, and 3 houses, civilian cars, a pharmacy, an administrative building, 2 private households, and a multi-storey residential building were damaged.

As a result of mortar shelling of the community, a fire broke out damaging a non-residential building and a residential building, and a grain elevator by an attack from an unmanned aerial vehicle. Moreover, the russians dropped a VOG-type explosive device from a UAV on the territory of the community.

At night and in the morning of June 3, the russians opened mortar fire on Seredyno-Buda, Bilopillia, and Yunakivka communities. As a result of a shelling, a private house was damaged.

On June 2, an open amateur radio direction finding championship, a.k.a. ‘fox hunt’, took place near Sumy. This is the second competition since the beginning of the russian aggression, involving 52 athletes – 24 boys and 28 girls.

The regional phase of the patriotic military game “Dzhura” was held in Sumy this week. The game took place at several locations, where participants practiced tactical drills, learned combat first aid and weapon handling skills, and took part in historical competitions. This patriotic game was launched in 2003 at the initiative of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks and is aimed at fostering national identity.

Chernihiv oblast

Tymonovychi, and Arkhipivka came under enemy fire. According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, in total, six attacks were recorded in Chernihiv oblast: 40 shells fired from artillery systems and 52 bombs fired from 120-mm mortars.

Sergey Sergienko, Head of the Novgorod-Siverskyi RMA, reported that due to intense artillery and mortar shelling (360 explosions were recorded in a week in the border area of Chernihiv oblast) and air strikes with guided bombs in late April and early May, 776 people, including 208 children, left the border villages of Semenivka community. 95% of residents have left the border village of Tymonovychi in Semenivka community, all residents of Muravyi village in Novhorod-Siverskyi community have been forced to leave.

According to the SES of the oblast, around 20% of Chernihiv oblast has been surveyed and cleared of explosives since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. During this period, EOD squads disposed of 51,836 explosive devices and responded to 4,627 calls. Also, more than 40,000 hectares of territory, 237 critical infrastructure facilities, 232 kilometers of roads, 25 kilometers of power lines, and 8.5 kilometers of gas pipeline were inspected.

Vyacheslav Chaus, head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that over the next ten days, special commissions will inspect every shelter in the oblast marked on the online map and make sure it is accessible. The commissions will consist of local authorities, law enforcement agencies, and the SES.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

According to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the “I am Veteran” administrative service office started operations in Kryvyi Rih, providing one-stop services for war veterans and their families. This was reported by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.

The ‘Dreams of My Childhood’ charity art festival has started at the Dnipro House of Arts. It was opened with an art exhibition of children’s drawings. Part of the proceeds will be donated to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Vinnytsia oblast

​​ A street exhibition “Rashism is…” has been opened in Vinnytsia. The exhibition demonstrates the parallels between rashism, nazism, and communism. The exhibition was created by the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity, and the Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security.

Poltava oblast

Head of Poltava Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Lunin announced that 35 medical institutions in Poltava oblast will receive equipment and medicines to provide emergency care to women in labour and children. The costly and necessary equipment came from UNICEF. It includes 40 patient monitors, 10 neonatal incubators, 15 resuscitation tables, heating lamps, obstetric kits, sterilisers, syringe pumps, other equipment, and medicines. 

At the end of the school year, Reshetylivka I.L. Oliynyk Lyceum held a campaign called “Thanks to the Defender for a school year”.

The students raised UAH 22,250. All proceeds were transferred through volunteers to the needs of the military.

Cherkasy oblast

A memorial plaque to the fallen defender was unveiled in a gymnasium in Cherkasy Oblast. Junior Sergeant Vladyslav Horobets, 23, a gunner of the mechanised section of the separate mechanised brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi, died on 2 November 2022 due to a tank shelling in Donetsk oblast.

The charity auction, initiated by the relatives of the defenders killed in the war, raised almost UAH 400,000. These funds were used to purchase three drones for the Territorial Defence Forces.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Yuriy Malashko, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that over the past day, on June 2, the russian military shelled 24 localities in Zaporizhzhia oblast: two people were killed and five were injured. 

During the evening attack in Orikhiv, a 62-year-old man was injured. He was promptly taken to a medical facility.

The russian army shelling killed two residents of the region and injured five.

Out of 106 checked shelters, 31 were closed or with limited access – these are the first results of the inspection of shelters in Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia district.

Mykolaiv oblast

According to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on 2 June 2023, the russian federation army shelled the Ochakiv community with artillery. It also shelled the city of Ochakiv with artillery. The shelling damaged residential buildings and a power line. There were no casualties. 

According to the city council, kindergartens damaged by shelling are being restored. As a result of shelling by russian troops, about 100 educational institutions in Mykolaiv, including 37 kindergartens, sustained varying degrees of damage. 

On 3 June, an interactive event was organised in Mykolaiv for children whose parents are in captivity or missing. The children painted foam figures, joined masterclasses on bracelet weaving and henna painting, and exercised to music. At the end of the event, the children were given gifts purchased with money raised by a Mykolaiv resident in the UK.

Odesa oblast

Defence structures will be inspected in Odesa oblast to ensure round-the-clock access to them and to assign people responsible for their maintenance. The inspections will last until 5 June.

Kherson oblast

The head of the Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported that on June 2, the russian army fired 65 times at Kherson oblast, and five times at Kherson. The shells hit residential areas, in Beryslav district – two churches, an outpatient clinic and three administrative buildings. Five people, including two children, were injured.

On June 2 Ukrainian Defense Forces aviators struck a place where russian troops were concentrated in Skadovsk district.

Vladyslav Nazarov, spokesman for the ‘South’ Operational Command, reported that Ukrainian artillery and rocket launchers destroyed 10 russian soldiers, three Lancet barrage munitions, two tanks, a large-caliber Hyacinth-B cannon and five armored vehicles.

Law enforcers opened a criminal investigation into the wounding of two young boys in Zahoryanivka, Belozersk TC. Explosives left by the russian military detonated on a playground.

The State Emergency Service of Kherson region reported that pyrotechnics neutralized 227 explosive devices in the de-occupied Kherson region over the past day. They inspected more than 28 hectares of territory and more than two and a half kilometers of power lines. 

According to the National Resistance Center, the russian occupiers are taking agricultural machinery to Crimea from state-owned agricultural enterprises in Kherson region. They use military vehicles of the russian army for transportation. Specifically, tractors and combines are being stolen”.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

In Lutsk, the Health Mentor social project was launched thanks to the cooperation of the VONA career hub for women victims of domestic or gender-based violence and the Blahomed Medical Center. As part of its implementation, meetings with medical specialists and practicing medics are held within the walls of the hub.

Zakarpattia oblast

The oblast received 4 passenger buses from partners from Hungarian Veszprém. This is already the third shipment of transport that arrived in Zakarpattia within the framework of the concept of interregional cooperation between the Chamber of Regions Congress of local and regional authorities and partners from EU member states.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA held a meeting regarding the organization and start of a health campaign for children in 2023. Children’s recovery and recreation will take place taking into account all requirements for children’s safety.

Lviv oblast

Advisory and Coordination Centers continue to work in Lviv oblast. During May, it was possible to provide over 6K services for IDPs. In addition, psychologists of the Center provided about 1.5K consultations for those who needed it.

Lviv oblast received 4 fire trucks equipped with everything necessary to fight fires and other emergency situations worth UAH 2.5 million from the Freunde helfen Konvoi German organization. Two vehicles will be on combat duty in Kherson and Mykolaiv oblast, two will serve units The main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv oblast.

Two 25 kW generators worth 38K zlotys were sent to Truskavets from the Polish city of Limanowa and German community of Watlingen.

Brodiv community received equipment for improvement works thanks to the HOVERLA project from USAID.

The Light of Hope installation was opened in Lviv. Drawings of children from different parts of Ukraine, who are forced to live in Lviv, are placed on metal scaffolding. The exhibition draws attention to the theme of war and suffering and, through the language of children’s art, gives hope for a brighter future.

Rivne oblast

The RMA reported that during the 462 days of the war, there were 407 air raids in Rivne oblast. Summary May: a total of 20 alarms (5 alarms were in April); the longest alarm was recorded on May 19 (it lasted 4 h 13 min); the shortest alarm was on May 15 (17 min); the alarm was announced twice during the day 4 times per month (May 13, 16, 18 and 29); the maximum number of days without alarms is 7 days; “silence mode” lasted from May 1 (06:34) to May 8 (11:59).

Police officers of Rivne received 18 comfortable and maneuverable bicycles from the police station of the city of Essen (Germany).

Ternopil oblast

The Coordinating Center for the Support of the Civilian Population was opened at Ternopil RMA. The work of the Center will be aimed at solving issues of social protection for all those affected by the war.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The second part of the book about Khmelnytskyi soldiers who gave their lives for Ukraine has been published. Fifty stories about special people. Each fate is worthy of not just a page in a book, but a whole movie. Copies of the book were given to families of Heroes, and also given to schools, libraries and military units.

Chernivtsi oblast

In Bukovina, health care and cultural institutions received 5 kW generators from the Chernivtsi Business Group (CBG) public organization.

The RMA reported that volunteers sent a bus to the needs of the military. The vehicle is in good technical condition, equipped with everything necessary for transporting people.

In Chernivtsi, a charity Velofest dedicated to World Cyclist Day took place. The money collected during the race will be donated to help cyclists who have become soldiers and are currently at the front.

In Bukovina, IDPs held a circle of support for women on the peony field. In the circle of support, they talked about problems and how to deal with them, and admired the beauty and fragrance of peonies.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The German federal government has purchased additional military equipment to support Ukraine in its defense against a russian attack. In particular, a contract for 66 military armored personnel carriers was signed with Flensburger Fahrzeugbau GmbH (FFG). New vehicles are planned to be delivered to Ukraine and used there as a protected infantry transport.

Oleksii Reznikov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine, met with Lloyd Austin, Head of the Pentagon, in Singapore. Supporting Ukraine was discussed.

Prime Ministers of Canada and Poland, Justin Trudeau and Mateusz Morawiecki, in the joint statement, stated that their countries agreed to provide Ukraine with financial, humanitarian, military and diplomatic aid, as well as support on the way to Euro-Atlantic integration.

Joe Biden, US President, will discuss with Mette Frederiksen, Danish Prime Minister, the training of Ukrainian pilots, in particular on the F-16. The conversation will take place during the meeting in Washington, which is scheduled for May 5.

“Many were convinced that the russian army is the second in the world. Now we see that it is second… in Ukraine” , – stated Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State. He also emphasized that the US will help Ukraine build the “army of the future.”

The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine reported that the Committee of the Parties to the Istanbul Convention in Strasbourg elected the independent Ukrainian expert Olena Kharitonova to the GREVIO.

In Sweden with the participation of Oksana Zholnovich, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, discussed the issue of protecting the rights of Ukrainian children and joining efforts in the direction of reconstruction of the Ukrainian social protection system.

Sadyr Japarov, President of Kyrgyzstan, stated that the country is ready to work hand in hand with the European Union to solve common problems, promote dialogue and search for long-term solutions.

In the settlement of Vrhnika (Slovenia), an exhibition and sale of paintings and sculptures by artists from Ukraine took place initiated by Eduard Bielskyi, famous Ukrainian artist, and was supported by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Slovenia. Half of the funds collected from the sold paintings will go to the account of the Charitable Fund, which distributes them for humanitarian aid to Ukrainians affected by the war.
