It has been the 350th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 18.00:   

In an attempt to take full control of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, the russian army continues to focus its main efforts on offensive operations towards Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Novopavlivka.

Russians launched 1 missile attack on the civilian infrastructure of Sloviansk, Donetsk oblast, and 37 air strikes. In addition, the russian army over 40 MLRS attacks, specifically at the civilian infrastructure of Beryslav and Komyshany, Kherson oblast.

Ukraine is still under the threat of further russian air and missile strikes on civilian targets.

Towards Volyn, Polissya, Siversл, and Sloboda, there were no changes, no signs of  formation of offensive groups were detected. Russian troops shelled the vicinities of over 30x settlements, including Zarutske, Vovkivka, Sokhany, Pavlivka, Yunakivka, Sadky, Miropillia, Sumy oblast; Udy, Chervona Zorya, Krasne, Lyptsi, Starytsia, Verkhnia Pysarivka, Ambarne, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, and Zapadne, Kharkiv oblast. Russian military launched airstrikes near Kozacha Lopan and Oliinykove, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupiansk and Lyman, the russian army shelled the vicinities over 15 settlements. Among them are Kupiansk, Kurylivka, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Berestove, Kharkiv oblast, Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Kreminna, Kyzmyne, Dibrova, and Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Mykolaivka, Klishchiivka, Ozarianivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and Vesele, Donetsk oblast, were shelled among others. In total, over 20 settlements were targeted. The russian army launched air strikes near Ivanivske.

Towards Avdiivka and Novopavlivka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobjeda, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, and Neskuchne, Donetsk oblast, were shelled. Russian airstrikes were reported near Avdiivka and Mariinka.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, Vremivka, Novopil, Donetsk oblast, Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Scherbaky, and Kamyanske, Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Towards Kherson, the vicinities of settlements of Zmiivka, Beryslav, Shliakhove, Lvove, Tiahynka, Antonivka, Yantarne, Berehove, Veletenske, and Kherson were hit.

In Novotroitske, Kherson oblast, civilians are subject to filtration measures of russian soldiers. First of all, the measures concern those who worked in Ukrainian public institutions and refused to cooperate with the russian administration. Russian troops also threaten that those failing to receive russian passports by March will automatically be subject to filtration measures.

In the settlements of Hromivka, Chaplynka, Mala Kardashynka, Zelene, Chulakivka, and Novovolodymyrivka, Kherson oblast, russian soldiers conduct daily searches, terrorize and rob local residents. They steal household appliances, phones and other valuables.

The Ukrainian Air Force launched 21 air strikes on buildups of personnel and military equipment of russian military, and 3 air strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. 

Ukrainian artillery and missile troops hit 2 russian command posts, 2 concentrations of manpower, 1 ammunition depot, and 1 fuel and lubricants depot.


Head of the Department of Child Protection, Violence Prevention and Response, the General Prosecutor’s Office, Yuliia Usenko, informed that Ukraine managed to return 128 kids forcibly deported by occupiers. Over 50 of them are currently in the EU countries with their parents or guardians. Every possible measure is taken to return home all illegally deported kids.  

Iryna Vereschuk, deputy prime minister, the Minister of temporarily occupied territories, informed that Ukraine is preparing the employee pool for Crimea. “The perspective of Crimea liberation means that we have to start preparing the employees for law enforcement forces, department of justice, educational institutions and other public agencies. The designated public offices will shortly be authorized to start forming the employee pool for Crimea”, she noted.  

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Great Britain where he met with the British King Charles III. This is the first Ukrainian president to meet the British monarch. 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Mayor’s office and the defence headquarters reported that on February 7, around 11 pm, the enemy launched a missile attack on downtown Kharkiv. 4 missiles, preliminarily S-300, hit a civilian industrial facility. Buildings were destroyed and a large-scale fire broke out. There were also hits in the city’s Central Park, without casualties.

The enemy massively shelled Dvorichna, Kupiansk, Strilecha, Veterynarne, Vovchansk and other settlements close to the front line in Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Kupiansk regions.

In Vovchansk, a 16-year-old girl was injured and hospitalised, a 74-year-old woman killed as a result of shelling.

Vovchansk city hospital was repeatedly damaged and a fire broke out as a result of shelling. One of the fragments hit an ambulance transporting a patient. There were no casualties in the vehicle.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that in Kupiansk, shelling destroyed 6 garages and damaged 10, and fires broke out.

At about 11 am, the invaders shelled Varvarivka village in Chuhuiv region. Three civilians were injured as a result of shelling.

In addition, at 12 am, the enemy targeted Vovchansk city. A 52-year-old man and a 10-year-old boy received shrapnel wounds.

Head of Zolochiv community, Viktor Kovalenko, informed that at about 2:30 pm, the invaders shelled Udy border settlement with artillery.

Donetsk oblast

Russians launched a missile attack on Druzhkivka, hitting a private building. There were no casualties.

Towards Volnovakha, Vuhledar came under intense shelling, 9 private buildings were damaged.

Towards Donetsk, a building in Tonenke, Ocheretyne community was damaged, Hirnyk, Kurakhivka and Kurakhove of Kurakhove community shelled. There were no casualties.

The situation towards Horlivka is tense in the Soledar community: 2 buildings in Vasiukivka and 4 in Rozdolivka were damaged. Paraskoviivka is under constant fire.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, reported that towards Lysychansk, Siversk and the outskirts of the community were attacked, without any casualties. In total, russians injured 2 residents yesterday.

According to the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, this afternoon, russians shelled Niu-York city with artillery, hitting a building. The stairwells between the 9th and 6th floors were completely destroyed, a wall pierced and windows broken in most apartments. There were no casualties.

Press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said that Ukrainian border guards near Bakhmut shot down a russian attack aircraft covering an infantry attack.

Luhansk oblast

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that  the maximum escalation is observed towards Kreminna. Russians are trying to break through our defence line. The enemy is also advancing in Bilohorivka. All attacks are repelled by our defenders. The enemy has no success.

Head of the Luhansk RMA, Serhii Haidai, informed that in the frontline villages, people are forced to hide in basements almost all the time because of constant russian shelling. Before the war, Makiivka village was home to more than 800 people. Now there are over 20 locals there. 142 people out of more than 700 are left in Nevske. The artillery is destroying already ruined villages every day. Police officers offer people to leave every day, but they refuse. Humanitarian aid is constantly coming to the settlements.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius arrived in Kyiv on February 7 with an unannounced visit. According to Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, the German government has already decided to supply Ukraine with 20-25 Leopard 1 tanks by the summer, about 80 by the end of the year, and more than 100 by 2024. This is at least three battalions, including materials to be purchased, spare parts, ammunition, and training.

Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported that 9 out of 30 private houses damaged by russian shelling on January 26 have been restored in Kyiv oblast. Restoration continues: the roofs of 3 houses have been restored, window and door structures have been replaced in 9 houses, and about 100 windows have been installed.

Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn announced that a world-famous Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina and Oscar-winning French director Michel Hazanavicius have taken under their patronage reconstruction of two residential complexes in Irpin as part of the UNITED24 initiative.

According to the Kyiv RMA, there are 440 Invincibility Centers installed in Kyiv oblast. Among them is the Invincibility Town in the town of Pereyaslav. It consists of 6 modular houses equipped with everything necessary, including a medical and police station, a children’s room, and a place for teatime.

The Kyiv City State Administration reported that this year, over UAH 350 million will be allocated for the repair of shelters in Kyiv. The funds are provided for the overhaul of basements of residential buildings to be used as simple shelters, as well as for work on civil defense facilities. In total, there are more than 4,000 shelters in the capital today.

Italy is helping to build a portable invincibility center in Brovary for 200 people. According to Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko, Brovary became the first town in Ukraine to implement the Italian Peace Village project aimed at providing assistance in the event of power outages.

In Kyiv oblast, 11 more kindergartens resumed full-time work this week, as the shelters were completed. According to the Kyiv RMA, there are 684 preschool education institutions in the region operating in various forms: 395 – full-time, 139 – in a mixed form of education, and 150 are working remotely.

The Kyiv Patrol Police has received 7 Volkswagen Transporter police cars donated by German partners. According to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko, the cars are specially equipped for the needs of the patrol police and have everything necessary for the effective performance of their duties. Also, 4 modern cars from Munich were delivered to Kyiv utility companies, and 8 powerful generators from the Danish city of Odense were delivered to Kyivteploenergo.

A monument to Soviet pilot Valery Chkalov has been dismantled in Kyiv, reports the Kyiv City State Administration. The next to be removed is a monument to Soviet General Nikolai Vatutin. According to the decision of the Kyiv City Council, after being dismantled, the monuments will be moved to the Antonov Museum of Aviation of Ukraine.

Ukrzaliznytsia invites everyone to a charity concert dedicated to the launch of the humanitarian project Light for Ukraine, which will take place on February 10 in the lobby of the Central Railway Station. The goal of the project is to raise funds for the production of blue and yellow candles with the inscription “True light in the heart of every Ukrainian” that will be given to Ukrzaliznytsia passengers traveling to the regions affected by russian aggression. 25 thousand candles have already been produced thanks to donors from around the world. 

Zhytomyr oblast

According to Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the RMA, despite the difficulties of the war, Zhytomyr oblast continues to develop Olympic sports and provide all-round support to athletes. The region has training facilities available for athletes and coaches from Kherson, Kharkiv, Donetsk and other regions of Ukraine forced to leave their homes due to russian aggression.

The regional office of the State Emergency Service reported that Zhytomyr City Community has joined the project called “Safety Specialist in the Educational Environment. The goal of the project is to build a space for children free of bullying, drugs, and violence, which creates conditions for an adequate level of safety for students during the educational process.

About 500 generators will be donated to the Berdychiv-based Oberig-26 Foundation by an American benefactor who wishes to remain anonymous. All of them will be distributed to military units and transferred to critical infrastructure facilities.

The volunteers of Zhytomyr Kalynky created a joint artwork – a camouflage net depicting a soldier with an angel behind him. The artwork will be used for a fundraising initiative for charity. From the first day of the full-scale invasion, Zhytomyr Kalynky team has been sewing clothes, camouflage suits, backpacks, and first aid kits for the military on the front line, as well as weaving camouflage nets, ghillie suits and making trench candles.

Sumy oblast

According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, over the past day, seven communities in Sumy oblast were shelled from the russian territory. A woman was killed in the shelling of Pavlivka village, Bilopillia community, after a russian shell hit her house.

In total, the enemy opened fire on Krasnopillia, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Seredyno-Buda, Znob-Novhorodske, Shalyhyne and Hlukhiv communities. There were 125 mortar and AGS attacks, as well as three explosive devices dropped from a UAV.

At the request of the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center, a consolidated detachment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which included rescuers from the Mobile Rescue Center, firefighters, medics, and K9 teams from the Interregional Rapid Response Center (Romny), went to assist their colleagues in Turkey. In total, 87 personnel, 18 vehicles, and 10 search and rescue dogs were sent from Ukraine to eliminate the consequences of the powerful earthquake. The group is provided with Starlink satellite terminals, drones, vehicles, and all the necessary equipment to perform tasks at the search and rescue site. For the international rescue community, there is no such thing as someone else’s grief. That is why in this difficult time for Turkey, Ukrainian rescuers are supporting their colleagues.

In Sumy oblast, police EOD teams destroyed a munition dropped from an enemy drone. In one of the settlements in Seredyno-Buda, a homemade minibomb made by russians on the basis of a fragmentation grenade launcher shot (russian: VOG-25) was found specifically designed to be dropped from unmanned aerial vehicles such as quadcopters to kill people. According to Sumy regional police, the explosive device was dropped by the enemy over the village and fell near the houses of local residents.

Sumy water utility company has received modern teleinspection equipment from Swiss partners, namely a laboratory for teleinspection of sewer networks based on a Renault Master vehicle. It allows for telemetry of networks with a diameter of 150 to 1,500 mm to ensure the integrity of the pipe or to examine all damage, as well as to select the optimal pipeline repair technology. There are specialists who have already been trained in Germany to work with such modern equipment.

781 unemployed people have been involved in the restoration of Sumy oblast. Sumy oblast became the first in Ukraine to introduce such socially beneficial works. The first ones were Mykolaivka and Yampil village councils, Lebedyn and Krolevets town councils, as well as Bochechky, Dubovyazivka, and Popivka communities in Konotop region. The Department of Social Protection reported that the works were paid for from the funds of the Compulsory State Unemployment Insurance Fund.

In Yampil, 20 large families received stoves from Canadians. As reported by the Yampil Village Council, the project is being implemented with the support of the Canada Ukraine Foundation and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress.

Chernihiv oblast

The enemy launched an airstrike on one of the industrial enterprises of the Semenivka community. Two air-to-ground missiles were used. One person was killed, and two hospitalized in serious condition. According to preliminary information, three more people are under the rubble. The Chernihiv Regional Military Administration reported that rescue services are working at the scene, and the rubble is being dismantled.

The russian army once again opened artillery fire from its territory against the border village of Hai, Chernihiv oblast. Reports of 22 hits from cannon artillery were received. There were no losses of personnel or equipment. According to the ‘North’ Operational Command, there was no information about civilian casualties.

Yevhen Plaksa, a mechanic at the Go Bike Chernihiv social bicycle workshop, has repaired hundreds of bicycles for doctors, volunteers, and social workers in Chernihiv oblast. Yevhen has already repaired more than 200 bicycles, and offers advice on bicycle repair to anyone who shows interest.

Volunteers from the Mena community provide the defenders with home-cooked meals, trench candles and camouflage nets, bedding and medicines, and children’s drawings.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

According to Head of the regional council Mykola Lukashuk, the enemy shelled the Chervonohryhorivka community in Nikopol region at night. Russian occupiers fired two dozen shells from heavy artillery. 7 residential buildings, 3 outbuildings, a gas pipeline and electricity networks were mutilated.

They discussed the military and humanitarian situation in the region, overcoming and liquidating the consequences of russian missile attacks, and the possibility of involving the Czech Republic in the post-war reconstruction of oblast.

Vinnytsia oblast

In Vinnytsia, 20 child volunteers who collected almost a million hryvnias for the Armed Forces were awarded. Since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, they have supported the Ukrainian defenders, they bake ginger cookies, weave bracelets, sew soft toys and sell flowers. Using the money earned, they bought military products, ammunition, warm clothes, and solar panels. Altogether, they have collected more than a million hryvnias for the needs of the army.

Kirovohrad oblast

“Trypilska Sich” Charitable Foundation bought five cars for the Armed Forces in the last one and a half weeks. The vehicle was bought using the funds of benefactors.

Poltava oblast

In Kremenchuk, 83 unemployed people were recruited as part of the “Recovery Army” project in January. The project involves persons who are registered as unemployed in the employment service, in the reconstruction of the country.

Volunteers from Myrhorod sew “bone” pillows for the safe evacuation of wounded defenders. Such pillows make it possible to fix the head or limbs in a stationary position, which helps save lives of Ukrainian defenders injured on the battlefield.

Cherkasy oblast

The press service of the Uman City Council Evacuation reported that the crews of the “Vostok SOS” charity fund have arrived in Uman. They took turns delivering internally displaced persons who will live in the structural subdivisions of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population for the elderly and people with disabilities. People are provided with inpatient and palliative care services, as well as all appropriate support.

17 paintings created by children with the help of artificial intelligence were sold at an auction in Cherkasy. Using the funds received, benefactors purchased walkie-talkies for the Cherkasy military.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The situation towards Zaporizhzhia has not significantly changed over the past day. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied borders. The enemy launched 62 attacks on the Ukrainian defenders’ positions, using tank weapons, rocket and barrel artillery along the entire front line.

The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in Huliaipole, Olhivske, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Novomykolaivka, Shcherbaky, Kamianske, Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove. The police received 12 reports about the destruction of houses (apartments) and infrastructure objects as a result of russian shelling.

In Melitopol, the occupiers force employees of state institutions who have received citizenship of the russian federation to renounce their Ukrainian citizenship in writing. In case of decline, they are threatened with dismissal.

Mykolaiv oblast

This morning, the enemy launched artillery strikes on the coastal strip and the water area of the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties. Also in the morning, the occupiers shelled Kutsurub community. There were no damages or injuries.

As of February 2023, the Ukrainian army and russian forces are likely to have deployed small groups on Kinburn Spit, which control the Dnipro Bay. An assault on the right bank by the russians is unlikely. This was reported by the intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain.

Snihurivka community received two German-made buses from the KIV-trans and Agrofusion limited liability companies. Snihurivka was left without public transport after the russian occupation. Many buses and utility vehicles were stolen. Transport is already running in the city. Both new buses have 37 seats and places specifically equipped for people with disabilities.

Odesa oblast

As of February 8, there is 1 enemy ship on combat duty in the Black Sea. 10 enemy ships are on combat duty in the Mediterranean Sea. There are 5 Kalibr cruise missile carriers with a total salvo of 72 missiles among them.

The duration of power outages in Odesa will be reduced until the end of the day on February 8. So far, repair crews have managed to supply additional electricity to the region.

The servicemen of the Odesa Mechanized Brigade received the necessary equipment for effective performance of combat missions from the Odesa RMA. Among donated items are quadcopters, generators, charging stations, warm clothes, food and many other possessions to ensure normal living conditions.

Kherson oblast

The defense forces destroyed the small watercraft of the russian army, which they were going to use to ferry sabotage groups to the right bank of the Dnipro. This was reported by the head of the United Coordination Press Center of the Defense and Security Forces of the South, Nataliia Humeniuk. According to her, the purpose of the russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups is to oppose the advance of the Defense Forces. They are also trying to set up their observation posts to gather information about the defensive positions of the Ukrainian troops. The Defense Forces also damaged two Grad2 MLRS in Oleshky. The russian army fired at Kherson from there.

Around noon, the russian army shelled a residential city quarter. The roof and walls in the house were mutilated, windows and doors shattered by the blast wave and projectile fragments. Enemy shells also damaged a house on Lomonosov Street. Two people were injured, a 40-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy.

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, two people were killed and four  injured today as a result of russian attacks. The prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings on the fact of violating the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder.

Yesterday, russian invaders attacked Kherson oblast 29 times. Beryslav and Kherson communities once again found themselves under enemy shelling. 2 people received injuries of varying degrees of severity due to russian shelling.

The police opened 26 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes committed by the russian occupiers in Kherson oblast. The police record the crimes of the russian military, who rob local businesses and residents of the region.

Prosecutors, together with police investigators and experts, exhumed and examined the bodies of a man and a minor boy in Posad-Pokrovske, Kherson oblast. They died during  shelling by the russian army.

According to the General Staff, the occupiers are carrying out filtering measures against the civilian population in Novotroitske. First of all, this concerns those who worked in Ukrainian state institutions and refuse to cooperate with the russian occupation administration and go to work. The invaders also threaten that those who do not receive russian passports by March will automatically be subjected to filtering measures. The occupiers conduct daily searches, atrocities, and looting of local residents in Hromivka, Chaplynka, Mala Kardashynka, Zelene, Chulakivka, and Novovolodymyrivka. Home appliances, phones and all valuables are stolen.

The Kherson RMA reported that the occupiers destroyed a total of 27 and damaged 77 health care facilities in Kherson oblast since the beginning of the russian full-scale invasion. Currently, 132 out of 163 medical facilities are already working in the liberated territory of Kherson oblast. The work of the Regional Territorial Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine has been fully restored: 3 stations, 7 substations and 8 base points are now functioning. From 30 to 32 emergency medical teams work daily in the region.

Kherson Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital received a modern ambulance from the international public organization Direct Relief and the Public Hub. The vehicle was purchased with the assistance of the Chernivtsi RMA.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

The EU Consultative Mission and the Volyn RMA discussed possible options for the development of checkpoints on the borders of the oblast. The mission advises to investigate crimes committed by the russian federation against Ukraine, assists customs and border guards in matters of border crossing, supports refugees in moving from Ukraine to neighboring EU countries, accelerated delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, etc.

Zakarpattia oblast

Specialists of the Rapid Response Mobile Rescue Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, 25 highly qualified specialists, 10 service dogs, special equipment and equipment, went from Zakarpattia to Turkey to assist Turkish people after the earthquake. The team is equipped with Starlink satellite terminals, drones, machinery and all required equipment for performing tasks at the site of a search and rescue operation.

The RMA reported that the Rakhiv community received 36 generators from the Czech partner from the city of Telch.

Educational institutions of Zakarpattia oblast received 25 modern laptops from the CF TES Fund and the English company Reusing IT.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA reported that over two dozen heaters, twenty camping cylinders, fifty tire sealants, trench candles, etc, were sent from the oblast to the frontline.

Prykarpattia Invincibility Centers received a UAH 5 million humanitarian aid package from the International Organization for Migration. 

The RMA reported that the enterprises of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast will receive EUR 300K to develop projects from the International Organization for Migration.

Lviv oblast

The RMA reported that from February 24, 2022, the Maltese aid service in Lviv oblast distributed 260K portions of hot food for IDPs at border crossing points and railway stations in Lviv oblast, delivered over 1K tonnes of humanitarian aid to 65 cities of Ukraine, provided psychological and social assistance at 48 locations for over 20K IDPs and local residents, provided 18,5K beds in two shelters in Lviv, trained over 2K people in first aid, sent 9 ambulances for the needs of medics, helped install 42 prostheses to people who suffered because of the war, gave out 45K portions of hot food for lonely elderly people in Lviv.

Over UAH 700K for the military were collected in the Novoiavoriv community during the Christmas holidays. Part of the funds was donated to the regional 103rd brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces. Over UAH 30K was collected for the soldiers as part of a charity event in Chervonohrad region. The collected funds will be donated to the needs of the military to the Chervonograd 63rd Territorial Defense Brigade.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a Decree on awarding servicemen of 125 separate territorial defense brigades with state awards.

The Lviv City Council reported that drones, walkie-talkies and a car, generators and tires were sent from Lviv thanks to the taxes of the citizens.

Rivne oblast

Ukrenergo informs that consumption restrictions will be completely removed for one day in each oblasts in turn. Such a study makes it possible to determine exactly how much each oblast consumes under the condition of normal operation of the energy system. In the absence of massive attacks on the energy infrastructure in Rivne oblast, the lights will not be turned off on February 14.

Ternopil oblast

Mayor of Ternopil Serhii Nadal noted that winter uniforms, winter boots with high tops, two quadcopters, hundreds of dry heaters and other equipment were sent from the city. This aid is delivered directly to the combat positions where Ternopil residents are located. Mobile dentistry has also returned from Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts.

The first parish of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in Ternopil oblast to switch to the New Julian calendar is in Losiatyn of the Pochaiv community. From now on, religious communities can make such a decision independently.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The earthquakes that occurred in Turkey affected Khmelnytskyi NPP. Energoatom was informed that the seismic monitoring system recorded minor tremors at the Khmelnytskyi NPP. Ukrainian nuclear power plants are capable of withstanding an earthquake of up to seven points on the Richter scale.

In the RMA, a meeting to support veterans participating in hostilities and their families was held. The purpose is to establish cooperation between Departments and institutions that work with these people.

The photo exhibition Stories from the Occupied Crimea opened in Khmelnytskyi. It presents 22 photographs of Ukrainian reporters Alina Smutko, Taras Ibrahimov and Alona Savchuk, who worked in Crimea after the illegal annexation and covered the topic of human rights violations.

Chernivtsi oblast

In Chernivtsi, a coordination meeting with law enforcement agencies of the oblast was held. They discussed the specifics of their work under martial law, methods of solving problematic issues and work prospects for the current year.

The Chernivtsi City Council reported that the city received two generators for the operation of boiler houses that heat kindergartens from the city of Baden-Baden.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The Ministry of Defense of Lithuania reported that the country sent dozens of L-70 anti-aircraft guns with ammunition to Ukraine and conducted training for Ukrainian instructors in handling these weapons.

The Ministry of Defense of the Federal Republic of Germany announced that the first Leopard 2 tanks will arrive in Ukraine at the end of March.

The USAID sent a gas turbine mobile power plant to Ukraine.

The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Germany reported that the government officially allowed its companies to provide Ukraine with 178 Leopard 1 tanks.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Wopke Hoekstra announced that the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany agreed to cooperate in order to transfer to Ukraine about a hundred Leopard 1 tanks from industrial warehouses in Germany.

Minister of Defense of Germany, Boris Pistorius, reported that by the end of February, the country will send guided missiles, five Gepard self-propelled artillery units and other equipment to Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Great Britain to meet with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and King Charles III.

Representative of the opposition Labor Party, John Healy, announced that Britain declared the need to develop a long-term plan to support Ukraine.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced that the Ukrainian military will receive even more guided missiles for air defense by the end of February 2023. In addition, Germany will send tanks.

The first representative from France appeared in United24. Director Michel Hazanavicius joined the ambassadors.

The National Olympic Committees of Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Norway sent a statement to the IOC asking them not to allow russian athletes to participate in international competitions.

Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, opposed the participation of russians in the Olympics. “As long as russia continues the war with Ukraine, I do not want the russian delegation to be at the Olympic Games in Paris. I consider it indecent,” Hidalgo said.

Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, Vasyl Bodnar, reported that 87 Ukrainian rescuers went to Turkey to help Turkish people after the earthquakes.
