Russian invaders continue to put pressure on Ukrainian citizens and violate human rights. In Starobysk, Luhansk oblast, the russian occupation authorities force people to send children over the age of 6 to a kind of Cossack-cadet corps for allegedly ‘proper patriotic education’. People who refuse to send their children to the specified corps are threatened with deprivation of parental rights.

Units of the rocket forces and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit 3 buildups of manpower and a control point of the occupiers.

Rescuer’s spokesman, Yevhen Vasylenko, said that for the third day in a row, rescuers have been removing the remains of a woman killed due to the russian attack on a residential building from the rubble of a building on Myronosytska Street. On February 1, the State Emergency Service was operating on the roof and upper floors of the destroyed part of the building.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, yesterday, communities in Kharkiv oblast received humanitarian aid – 9 powerful generators. On behalf of the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, the generators were distributed among Chuhuiv, Izium and Kharkiv regions and Kharkiv city. The aid was provided by the German Federal Agency for Technical Assistance.

Donetsk oblast

The enemy does not stop its offensive towards Bakhmut and Lyman. They suffer heavy losses. They also conduct unsuccessful offensives towards Avdiivka and Novopavlivka.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, stated that the mobilization in the occupied territories reminds of repressive actions from Russians – they grab you and send you straight to the front. The invaders realize that the more they mobilize in Luhansk oblast, the fewer russians will die.

The so-called ‘Luhansk People’s Republic’ is raising the retirement age to 65. The pension amount will be the same for a certain category of pensioners. At the same time, the law, which came into force in russia on January 1, 2019, sets the retirement age at 65 for men and 60 for women.

In frontline settlements, food products cost on average twice as much as in other settlements. Although there is a ‘state committee for rate and price regulation’ in the so-called ‘LPR’.

In order to deprive the population of an opportunity to sell hryvnia, the invaders organize raids on currency exchange offices. By blocking the ability to buy goods for hryvnia, they first forced locals to exchange hryvnias for rubles. Therefore Russians decided to block the currency exchangers in order to increase the dependence of residents on occupation payments.

Referring to the Luhansk RMA, the invaders have set up another military hospital near Novoivanivka. About 100 russian soldiers are being treated there. Doctors usually underestimate the severity of injuries and do not note them in medical records. After providing minimal assistance, they send them to the front line.
