The World Bank provided emergency aid to Ukraine in the amount of 17.8 billion dollars

This was stated by Marie Elka Pangestu, the World Bank Executive Director, at a press conference in Berlin.

 

   •   Ukraine and Great Britain signed an agreement on digital trade

The parties expect that the digital trade agreement will support Ukraine’s economy in the conditions of the full-scale invasion by the russian federation and lay the foundations for the further successful post-war reconstruction.

 

   •   The European Commission found Hungary’s reform efforts as insufficient and postponed budget payments

The European Commission recognized that Hungary’s efforts in implementing the necessary reforms as insufficient, therefore the payment of 5.7 billion euros of budgetary aid to Budapest for restoration after the coronavirus pandemic was again postponed.

 

   •   ARMA transferred more than a billion UAH to defense needs

It is emphasized that additional UAH 300 million was transferred to the needs of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense according to the court’s decision.

Therefore, according to the National Agency, the defense forces have already received more than UAH 1 billion due to the management of arrested assets.

 

   •   The First Lady of Ukraine attended the opening of the Russian War Crimes exhibition in London

According to Zelenska, “the exhibition contained photos taken in many places of Ukraine, but, of course, these are stories about only a small part of the atrocities committed by russians.”
