Yurii Ignat, a representative of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told El Pais that Ukraine is waiting for 24 fighters from Western countries. The priority is the American F-16. But Kyiv may consider other aviation platforms, in particular, the French Rafale or the Swedish Gripen.
• Inspectors arrived in Kyiv to supervise the assistance provided by the United States. “They arrived with a clear schedule of meetings and a goal to improve independent U.S. oversight with U.S. assistance to Ukraine,” wrote U.S. Ambassador Bridget Brink .
• During the week, activists of the Yellow Ribbon movement demonstrated their protest against the rushists in all major cities of Ukraine, which are still under the control of the occupiers. Sevastopol, Simferopol, Berdiansk, Donetsk, Luhansk, Henichesk, Melitopol, Nova Kakhovka and the movement is growing.
• Croatia will donate EUR 1 million to UNICEF’s urgent support programme for Ukrainian schools and hospitals. With these funds, it is planned to purchase 50 electric generators. The relevant decision was made at a meeting of the Government.
• President Zelenskyy enacted NSDC sanctions against 185 companies and persons whom russia uses to transport military equipment and soldiers by rail.
