For 214 days, Ukrainian people have resisted the russian military invasion.

Ukraine briefly

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces as of 6 p.m.

The occupiers continue to focus their efforts on attempts to fully occupy Donetsk oblast and hold captured territories, as well as disrupting the active actions of the Defense Forces in certain areas. They fire at the positions of our troops along the contact line, conduct aerial reconnaissance, and try to restore lost positions in certain directions. The enemy continues to attack civilian infrastructure and peaceful residential areas. Ukraine is exposed to a threat of air and missile attacks.

The occupiers launched 4 missile and 7 air strikes, fired more than 24 rocket launchers at military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine, violating the norms of international humanitarian law, the laws and customs of warfare.

Over 35 settlements were affected by enemy fire.  Among them are Kupyansk, Bilogorivka, Spirne, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, New York, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Novomykhailivka, Pavlivka, Zaporizhzhia, Volodymyrivske, Ochakiv, Mykolaiv, Myrolyubivka, Novovoznesensk, Sukhy Stavok and Odesa.

The situation has not changed significantly in Volyn and Polissia directions.

In other directions, the enemy fired from tanks, mortars and barrel artillery:

towards Seversk – in the areas of the settlements of Huta-Studenetska and Bleshnya of the Chernihiv region and Bachivsk, Shalygine and Seredyna Buda of Sumy oblast;

towards Sloboda – in the areas of settlements of Strilecha, Guryiv Kozachok, Stogni, Udy, Veterinarne and Kupyansk;

towards Kramatorsk – Sloviansk, Koroviy Yar, Bogorodichne, Yarova, Pryshyb and Ozerne;

towards Bakhmut – Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Odradivka, Zaytseve, Opytne, Yakovlivka, New York, Mayorsk, Nelipovka, Yuryivka, Vyimka, Bilogorivka, Rozdolivka, Spirne, Vesele and Verkhnyokamianske;

towards Avdiivka – Avdiivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Vodyane, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Maryinka and Paraskoviivka.

18 settlements were shelled in Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhya directions: Mykilske, Vugledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, Velika Novosilka, Novomayorske, Vremivka, Pavlivka, Zaliznychne, Shevchenko, Biloghirya, Poltavka, Novosilka, Novopil, Temyrivka, Vremivka, Chervone and Olhivske.

In South Buh region, over 38 settlements near the contact line were damaged by artillery and mortar shelling, specifically Novovoznesensk, Arkhangelsk, Sukhy Stavok, Pervomaiske, Marhanets and Nikopol.

To conduct reconnaissance, adjust fire and launch strikes against civilian infrastructure objects, the enemy made up to 60 sorties of UAVs.

In light of the partial mobilization announced by the russian military-political leadership, the russian military commissariats have been working around the clock since September 22. Persons who try to evade mobilization are threatened with criminal liability.

In the city of Sevastopol of the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, about one thousand summonses were handed out to men of draft age.  Representatives of the occupying forces reassure the mobilized personnel that their service will take place in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region until the end of the term of the so-called “special operation”.

The command of the russian occupying forces directs the new arrivals for the mobilization of servicemen without training to the replenishment of units that have suffered losses, directly to the front line. It significantly affects the level of morale and psychological state of enemy servicemen and the quality of their performance of duties.

The skills of our artillerymen were confirmed one more time. On September 24, as a result of fire on enemy facilities in the temporarily captured territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast, about 10 units of enemy weapons and military equipment were destroyed in the area of the settlement of Huliaipole, as well as one S-300 air defense system with ammunition storage near the city of Tokmak.

Units of the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Soledar, Vyimka, Kurdyumivka, Zaitseve, Novomykhailivka, Pervomaiske and Pavlivka.

To support the actions of the ground groups, 21 strikes were carried out by the aircraft of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. 14 areas of buildup of manpower and military equipment of the enemy and 7 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems were affected. In addition, air defense units destroyed 2 UAVs of the occupiers in different directions.

Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk, reported that 2.5 thousand Ukrainians are still in russian captivity.  She emphasized that there are many civilians among the prisoners. Several exchanges in a row do not let them go.  According to the minister, there are many abused women among prisoners. They must be returned home immediately.

The ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets reported that Russian occupiers kept prisoners in inhumane conditions.  Some prisoners lost 60 and 70 kilograms, some spent more than 120 days in solitary confinement.

Dmytro Lubinets also added that no prisoner of war saw a representative of the ICRC during captivity, which is already a violation on the part of the russian federation. “Also, we note that torture, physical and psychological violence were applied to almost all of them, so we will legally work it out on each fact and it will become one of the components of the international criminal tribunal, which, I hope, will eventually be launched by the international legal community,” he concluded.

The Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security Council informs that Ukrainian prisoners of war held in Olenivka colony are forced to vote for joining the territories to the russian federation.   The russian propaganda media the appeal of 11 male and 23 female military servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to militants with a request to obtain passports of the terrorist organization “DPR”, and those who have a residence permit in Donetsk oblast are forced to participate in the referendum. This way they want to spread the narrative that apparently among the captured Ukrainian soldiers, many want to join the russian federation.
