The enemy continues to focus on trying to completely occupy Donetsk oblast, organize defense and maintain the occupied territories, as well as disrupt the active actions of the Defense Forces in certain areas. It shells the positions of our troops along the contact line, takes measures to redeploy, and constantly conducts aerial reconnaissance.

During the current day, russian occupiers have inflicted 7 missile and 20 air strikes, carried out more than 15 MLRS attacks on military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, laws and customs of warfare.

Besides, two large-sized trucks with dead bodies of invaders from the 1st Army Corps of the rf armed forces came from Kherson Oblast to the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast. The number is being specified.

Due to failed covert mobilization measures, the military and political leadership of the russian federation decided to withdraw units of the 217th Parachute Regiment from the Syrian Arab Republic and prepare to be sent to Ukraine.

In the first reading, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill to increase the border strip along the line of the state border with russia and belarus to 2 km. This was announced by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a people’s deputy from the Holos party. This draft law also includes the procedure for involving units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strengthen protection of the state border. In particular, it concerns the possibility of creating fire support outposts, artillery and aviation units, selecting biometrics from everyone who crosses the state border, checking them at checkpoints and recognizing faces.

Ukraine will not cease liberation of its territories, even in case of conducting pseudo-referendums. This was stated by Foreign Minister (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Dmytro Kuleba. He also added that even hybrid mobilization will not change anything.

He added that holding ‘pseudo-referendums’ was a step to declare mobilization in russia. But the forced mobilization in the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic now looks more like repression: men are captured in the streets.
