It has been the 207th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military aggression.

Ukraine briefly

It has been the 207th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military aggression.

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy continues to focus on trying to completely occupy Donetsk oblast, by launching the defensive, holding the occupied territories and disrupting the advance of the Defense Forces in certain areas. The invaders shell positions of our troops along the contact line, take measures to redeploy their units in certain directions, use reserves and conduct aerial reconnaissance.

The enemy does not stop striking civilian housing and infrastructure. Thus violating norms of International Humanitarian Law, laws and customs of warfare.

The russian occupiers inflicted 3 missile and 11 air strikes, carried out over 40 artillery attacks from MLRSs on objects on the territory of Ukraine.

The infrastructure of over 20 settlements has suffered, including Biliaivka, Dvorichna, Kramatorsk, Kamianka, Krasnohorivka, Myroliubivka,  Novomykhaylivka, Neskuchne, Poltavka, Siversk, Serebrianka, Spirne, Uspenivka, Verkhnekamianske, and Vysokopillia.

There is a constant threat of air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed significantly.

In other directions, the enemy conducted shelling from tanks, mortars and artillery, namely:

towards Siversk, Huta-Studenetska, Chernihiv Oblast and Katerynivka, Rozhkovychi, and Sosnivka, Sumy Oblast;

towards Sloboda region, Budarky, Hatyshche, Hoptivka, Kozacha Lopan, Kupiansk, Kudiivka, Mykolaivka, Strelecha, Vovchansk, and Vysoka Yaruha;

towards Kramatorsk, Kryva Luka, Pyskunivka, Raihorodok, Bilohorivka, Ozerne, Hryhorivka;

towards Bakhmut, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Maiorsk, Mykolaivka, Niu York, Rozdolivka, Siversk, Soledar, Yakovlivka and Zaitseve;

Towards the South Buh, the enemy inflicted damage along the entire contact line. More than 30 settlements were shelled. Among them are Kobzartsi, Kvitneve, Myrne, Novorosiyske, Olhyne and Ukrainka.

Due to the lack of human resources to be sent to war in Ukraine, the so-called ‘internal self-mobilization’ measures are being held on the russian territory. There were such cases in Kursk oblast under the guise of recruiting candidates for logistics units, and in Nizhny Novgorod oblast, where employees of the Atomokhrana organization are recruited allegedly to protect important objects. Candidates who signed a contract have a week-long course of rifle training and are immediately sent to the combat zone.

In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk oblast, in Bilovodsk district, a new recruitment to the so-called ‘units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ has been announced. After significant combat losses, most full-time employees fled or deserted to the russian territory.

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repulsed enemy attacks near Kupiansk, Hoptivka, Mykolaiivka Druha, Vesela Dolyna, Odradivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka and Pravdyne.

Aircraft of the Defense Forces carried out 20 strikes. 15 buildups of enemy manpower and strongholds and 4 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems were confirmed. In addition, our air defense units destroyed one UAV of the occupiers.

Rocket troops and artillery fired at more than 20 enemy targets. Seven control points and 9 strongholds and buildup of personnel and military equipment were destroyed. Air defense facilities and pontoon crossings of russian occupiers were eliminated. Total losses of the enemy are being clarified.

The occupying forces inform that at about 9 am, a colony in Olenivka was shelled. One Ukrainian prisoner of war was killed and five injured. There are no casualties among russians. The enemy is again trying to blame the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the South Operational Command, the situation in the South is tense, complex, but controlled. The defense forces continue active efforts to consolidate liberated territories. Under their pressure, the enemy is taking measures to regroup troops in separate directions, looking for ways to pull up reserves, and conducting aerial reconnaissance. Inspections are being intensified in the occupied settlements, but now the occupiers are looking not only for “Ukrainian Nazis”, but also for their own troops, who fled the battlefield and, dressed in civilian clothes, looking for ways to evacuate.

The enemy concedes positions, losing a tactical advantage. However, the russian forces don’t stop trying to test the strength of our units.
