Ukraine briefly

It has been the 205th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion.

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy continues to focus on trying to completely occupy Donetsk Oblast, conducting the defensive and holding the occupied territories, as well as disrupting the advance of the Defense Forces in certain areas. There is ongoing shelling of our positions along the contact line. Some measures are taken to regroup enemy troops in certain directions, introduce reserves, and conduct aerial reconnaissance. There is a constant threat of air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine.

The infrastructure of more than 18 settlements was damaged by air, missile strikes and shelling from the MLRS. These are Artakove, Druzhkivka, Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Mali Shcherbaky, Marinka, Myrne, Myrolubivka, Nikopol, Niu York, Olhivske, Orikhiv, Poltavka, Seversk, Velyke Zakitne, Zaporizhzhia, and Zolochiv.

Towards Volyn, Polissia and Siversk, the situation has not changed significantly.

In other directions, the enemy shelled from tanks, mortars and artillery, namely:

towards Kharkiv, from the territory of the Russian Federation – Dvorechna,  Hoptivka, Kozacha Lopan, Kupiansk, Mala Vovcha, Neskuchne, Prystin, Strelecha, Vovchansk, and Zybyne;

towards Sloviansk, near the settlement of Horokhovatka;

towards Kramatorsk, Bilohorivka, Bilohorivka, Donetske, Kryva Luka, Ozerne, Pyskunivka, Pryshyb, Raihorodok, Starodubivka, Siversk, Spirne, Sviatohirsk,  Tatianivka, Verkhnekamianske, and Yarova;

towards Bakhmut, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Maiorsk, Mykolaivka Druha, Niu York, Odradivka, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Vesela Dolyna, Vesele, Yakovlivka, and Zaitseve;

Russian occupation forces continue to use educational institutions in the temporarily occupied territories to station personnel and military equipment. According to available information, in the settlement of Khomivka, Luhansk Oblast, on the territory of the local agrarian lyceum, military equipment is located, and in the corps – enemy personnel. The situation is the same in other occupied settlements of Kharkiv (Podil), Zaporizhzhia (Chernihivka) and Kherson (Pidstepne) Oblasts.

The enemy is introducing a regime of enhanced security in the South Buh direction. Local residents of some settlements of Kherson Oblast are forbidden to approach the river crossings.

As a result of successful actions of units of Ukrainian Defense Forces, the enemy suffers significant losses of personnel and military equipment on a daily basis, which significantly affects the psychological state of occupiers. Servicemen of enemy tactical units operating in Kherson Oblast understand futility of the offensive, so they complain that there are only two ways for them to return home – either due to injury or death.

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repulsed attacks of the occupiers, inflicting losses, in the areas of Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Novomykhailivka, Vesela Dolyna and Zaitseve.

Also, the leader of Ukraine insists that russia brings only death and chaos and this must be stopped.

The Government of Ukraine adopted a resolution On Amendments to Certain Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the Transfer of Property for the Needs of the Armed Forces. This decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 16. It is reported that there are remnants of property that has passed into the ownership of the state at the warehouses of customs authorities (with the exception of customs in the war zone). Potentially, it can be the object of free transfer.
