It has been the 204th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the Russian military invasion.

Ukraine briefly

It has been the 204th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military aggression.

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy continues to focus on trying to completely occupy Donetsk oblast, holding occupied territories and disrupting the advance of our troops in certain areas.

The enemy is shelling our positions along the contact line, trying to regroup troops in certain directions and conducting air reconnaissance. There is a constant threat of air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine.

The enemy continues hitting peaceful residential areas and civilian infrastructure, violating the norms of the International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of warfare. Aerial, missile strikes and multiple launch rocket systems affected the infrastructure of over 20 settlements, in particular, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Bilohirka, Marinka, Olhivske, Oskil, Mykolaiv, Ochakiv, Liubomyrivka, Huliaipole and Myrne.

On September 15, the enemy inflicted 5 missile and 5 air strikes, carried out 23 attacks from rocket artillery systems on military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine.

In Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed significantly.

In other directions, the enemy fired at the infrastructure from tanks, mortars and artillery of various calibers in the following settlements:

towards Siversk, Halahanivka, Chernihiv Oblast and Kindrativka, Sumy oblast;

towards Kharkiv, Baranivka, Hoptivka, Neskuchne, Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Vysoka Yaruha, and Vovchansk;

towards Sloviansk, Kupiansk;

towards Kramatorsk, Bilohorivka, Ivano-Dariivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka,  Siversk, Tetianivka, and Verkhnekamianske;

towards Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Mykolaivka Druha, Odradivka, Soledar, Sukha Balka, Vesela Dolyna, Yakovlivka, and Zaitseve.

Towards Avdiivka, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, no active operations were carried out by the enemy. There was shelling along the entire contact line.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy inflicted fire damage along the entire contact line. Intensive aerial reconnaissance with the UAV was conducted. There were 48 sorties.

In Ukrainian Sloboda region, significant losses of the enemy are confirmed. Thus, the 202nd and the 204th infantry regiments of the 2nd Army Corps of the occupying forces, which took part in the hostilities, were hastily withdrawn to the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk oblast and were disbanded. The remnants of personnel are distributed among the mobilization reserve units. Due to the large number of wounded in the village of Novoaidar, civilian medical institutions, including the children’s hospital, are urgently being repurposed for military hospitals.

In general, the russian military-political leadership decided to replenish the reserve for the war in Ukraine at the expense of penitentiary institutions, state-owned enterprises and institutions, lifting restrictions on conscription for large families and forcibly creating regional battalions formed on a national basis.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vesela Dolyna, Maiorsk and Zaitsevo.

To support the actions of ground groups, aircraft of the Defense Forces carried out 18 strikes on buildups of enemy manpower and equipment. Destruction of 10 buildups of the invaders’ manpower, 3 strongholds and 5 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems was confirmed. Enemy losses are being clarified.
