It has been the 199th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion.

Ukraine briefly

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy continues to focus its efforts on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk Oblast, holding the occupied territories and disrupting the offensive of our troops in certain directions. The enemy conducts air reconnaissance, firing the positions of our units. There are some measures taken to restore the lost positions by redeploying its troops. The threat of air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine remains.

The russian occupiers launched 9 missile and 10 air strikes on military and civilian targets of our state. In particular, the enemy’s attacks affected the settlements of Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Bilohiria, Bruskinske, Dnipro, Kostiantynivka, Nevelske, Marinka, Mali Shcherbaky, Mykolaiv, Neskuchne, Poltavka, Siversk, Slavhorod, Sukhyi Stavok Velyka Pysarivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vilne Pole, and Velyki Prokhody.

Towards Volyn and Polissya, the situation has not changed significantly. Military exercises have been once again extended to maintain the troops of the Armed Forces of the republic of belarus in combat readiness.

In other directions, the enemy fired at military and civilian infrastructure from tanks, combat vehicles, mortars, barreled and jet artillery, namely:

towards Siversk, near Bilopillia and Lynove, Sumy oblast;

towards Kharkiv, in the areas of the settlements Borshchova, Dementiivka, Duvanka, Kostiantynivka, Liutivka, Peremoha, Prudianka, Sosnivka, Velyki Prokhody, Tymofiivka, Udy, Zolochiv, and Zamulivka;

towards Sloviansk, Dibrivne, Dovhenke, Dmytrivka, Dolyna, Karnaukhivka, Krasnopillia, Mykilske, Sloviansk and Velyka Komyshuvakha;

towards Kramatorsk, Ivano-Daryivka, Kryva Luka, Pyskunivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Rozdolivka, Serebrianka, Sydorove, Siversk and Spirne;

The enemy continues to suffer losses. In particular, as a result of the actions of the Defense Forces towards the South Buh, the losses of units of the 106th Airborne Division of the Armed Forces of the russian federation in the previous day alone amounted to 58 people killed. The command of the occupying forces is taking measures to restore the combat capability of units of the 1st Army Corps by transferring personnel surviving after hostilities to other units. Thus, according to available information, the remnants of personnel from the so-called special forces battalion “Khan” were transferred to the 9th Marine Regiment.

Among the personnel arriving in Ukraine for reinforcement, the number of self-injuries has increased. The russian leadership is constantly looking for new sources of replenishment of reserves. They promise high monetary support and a social package, trying to recruit ‘volunteers’ among the retired military in the Kyrgyz Republic through social media groups.

Due to the approach of  the Defense Forces units in Kherson oblast, the command of the russian occupation forces is trying to strengthen the city of Kherson by redeploying reserves. Thus, there are new enemy units, whose servicemen are poorly oriented in the city.

The invaders are trying to restore movement across the bridge of the Kakhovka HPP, the site of which is under the fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In Nova Kakhovka, the invaders have intensified filtering measures by involving russian FSB officers. They check mobile devices, looking for citizens who help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The situation is similar in Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia oblast.

The defense forces successfully repulsed the enemy’s offensive actions in the areas of Bakhmut, Maiorsk, Mykolaivka Druha, Novomykhailivka, Pervomaiske, Sosnivka, Vesela Dolyna, and Zaitseve.

Liberation of settlements temporarily seized by the russian occupiers continues in Kharkiv oblast and in the South Buh direction. For the safety of our servicemen, official information will be provided later.

To support the actions of ground groups, aviation of the Defense Forces carried out more than 17 strikes on strongholds and buildups of enemy manpower and equipment, as well as ammunition depots. Air defense units destroyed an UAV and shot down an X-59 aircraft missile in the airspace of Dnipropetrovsk oblast.

Rocket troops and artillery of ground troops continue counter-battery warfare, fire destruction of control points, manpower and military equipment, violation of the enemy’s control system and logistics.

As a result of the artillery strikes, two control points, eight buildups of enemy manpower and military equipment, as well as an enemy pontoon crossing were damaged.

The Government of Ukraine has adopted a decision that will attract almost $ 530 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to the state budget. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in his Telegram. Ukraine plans to use these funds from the IBRD to fulfill its social obligations, in particular, to pay for the work of rescuers, educators, doctors, as well as pension payments and social assistance.

The American Institute for the Study of War says that as of September 9, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had reconquered about 2500 square kilometers in Kharkiv oblast during the counterattack.

French President Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation. They discussed the current situation at the front and around the Zaporizhzhia NPP, the needs of Ukraine France can help with. The French leader shares the same demand for the withdrawal of russian troops from the area to ensure the safety of nuclear facilities.
