It has been the 198th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion.

Ukraine briefly

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy continues to focus its efforts on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk oblast, holding temporarily occupied areas of Kherson, parts of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts. Intensive aerial reconnaissance is conducted using UAVs. There are attempts to improve the tactical position and logistical support of enemy troops.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed significantly. In the armed forces of the republic of belarus, command and staff exercises continue.

In other directions, the enemy is shelling military and civilian infrastructure from tanks, combat vehicles, barrel and rocket artillery, hitting the following settlements:

towards Siversk – Bleshnia, Hai and Senkivka of Chernihiv oblast and Khodyne, Myropilske, Stukalivka, Velykyi Prykil and Zapsillia of Sumy oblast;

towards Kharkiv – Cherkaski Tyshky, Duvanka, Petrivka, Prudianka, Ruski Tyshky, Staryi Saltiv, Velyki Prokhody, and Udy;

towards Sloviansk – Dolyna, Dmytrivka, Krasnopillia, Nikolske, Sloviansk and Virnopillia;

towards Kramatorsk – Bohorodychne, Hryhorivka, Ivano-Dariivka, Rozdolivka, Siversk, and Verkhniokamenske;

towards Bakhmut – Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Maiorsk, New York, Vesela Dolyna, Soledar, Vesele and Zaitsevo;

towards Avdiivka – Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske and Pisky;

towards Novopavlivka – Kurakhove, Marinka, Mykilske, Novomykhailivka, Paraskoviivka, Pavlivka,  and Velyka Novosilka;

towards Zaporizhzhia – Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Novopol and Orikhiv

towards the South Buh, the enemy fired from barrel and rocket artillery along the contact line.

In addition, the enemy actively conducted aerial reconnaissance with UAVs making more than 60 flights.

Due to significant losses and unwillingness to fight, the moral and psychological situation in the occupation units is significantly deteriorating and the number of deserters is growing. On the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson oblast, near the settlement of Babenkivka Druha, the enemy was forced to use helicopters and weapons to search for fugitives and return them to combat positions. In addition, through Kalanchak, in the direction of the temporarily occupied Crimea, there was an intensive movement of russian soldiers without weapons travelling by buses.

Units of the Defense Forces hold their positions and do not allow the enemy to move deep into the territory of Ukraine. Our soldiers successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Avdiivka, Bezimenne, Kamianka, Konstantynivka, Mykolaivka Druha, Peremoha, Prudianka, Ruski Tyshky, and Virnopillya, Zaitseve.

To support the actions of ground groups, aviation of the Defense Forces carried out more than 10 strikes, during which military, air defense equipment and a significant amount of manpower in the strongholds in Donetsk and South Buh directions were destroyed.

Rocket troops and artillery of ground troops continue to destroy manpower and military equipment, counter-battery warfare, violation of the enemy’s control and logistics system. 3 enemy control points, a pontoon crossing, 28 buildups of manpower and military equipment were hit by fire. Ammunition depots and enemy artillery firing positions came under attack. The results are being clarified.

Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, called for an immediate cessation of shelling in the area of the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP and creation of a “safety zone” around it. “I strongly urge an immediate cessation of all shelling in the area. Only this guarantees safety of service personnel and will allow restoration of the power supply to Enerhodar and the power plant for a long time,” Grossi said.

The Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic reports that the EU Council approved the proposal of the European Commission to provide Ukraine with the second tranche of macroeconomic assistance in the amount of EUR 5 billion. In total, the macroeconomic support program for Ukraine is 9 billion euros.

The European Commission, the World Bank and the Cabinet of Ministers, in cooperation with partners, estimated the current cost of reconstruction and restoration of Ukraine at $349 billion. This is stated in a message on the website of the European Commission. Russian terrorist forces have caused high losses to the residential sector, transport, trade and industry. There were significant damages and losses in Chernihiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. The scope of damage is expected to increase in the coming months as the war continues.

In the war with Ukraine, russia attracted 80% of its ground forces. This was announced by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. He called for even greater support for Ukraine and for its readiness to “continue to provide Ukraine with what it needs immediately.” The NATO Secretary General stressed that allies must be well prepared in the long run and therefore NATO is in contact with the defense industrial complexes of member states.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian troops repelled offensives by invaders near Kamianka, Kostiantynivka, Ploske and Udy settlements. The invaders’ attacks near Prudianka, Ruski Tyshky and Virnopillia were repelled. The defence forces hold their positions and do not allow russian troops to advance.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated Volokhiv Yar village from russian invaders. The Eastern Operational-Territorial Command of the National Guard of Ukraine published a video of the raising the Ukrainian flag over the village.

Based on the information provided by president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as of the evening of September 9, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated and returned control of more than 30 settlements in Kharkiv oblast. 

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that the enemy launched intense rocket and MRLs strikes against Kharkiv and the region overnight. Some of the missiles “self-destructed” on russian territory.

In Kharkiv, russian terror caused a fire and destruction of a higher education institution in Saltiv district with more than 60 rescuers extinguishing the fire.

Kharkiv Mayor, Ihor Terekhov, said that Shevchenkove district was under russian shelling from MRLs. He said the shelling was powerful, hitting private houses and causing fires in several of them. A children’s art house, a school and a sports infrastructure facility were also shelled.

Russian strikes caused a fire in a specialised kindergarten in downtown Kharkiv. Children with physical disabilities were attending it. Two employees who were on the territory were not injured.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, informed that in the evening, the invaders shelled Kyiv district with MRLs. There were no casualties.

The invaders struck Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kharkiv districts. Overnight the enemy launched intensive strikes in Kharkiv district – one rocket hit the ground near private houses. In the morning medics hospitalised a man in Derhachi community.

Chuhuiv district was also heavily shelled by russians. A woman in her 60s was killed. Private houses, a training and sports centre and outbuildings were damaged.

Within September 9, 14 people, including three children, aged 3, 11 and 15, were injured. The children were hospitalised. Their condition is considered to be moderate and not life-threatening.

A total of 4 people were killed: 1 in Chuhuiv, 1 in Izium and 2 in Kharkiv districts. Doctors hospitalised 10 people: 1 in Chuhuiv, 8 in Kharkiv and 1 in Lozova districts.

According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Denys Monastyrskyi, after the visit to Kharkiv oblast, Ukrainian police officers are returning to liberated territories of Kharkiv oblast. The first priority is to address humanitarian needs of the inhabitants of de-occupied settlements. Most villages are without electricity and gas. Police and the State Emergency Service are already on the ground.

Referring to the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the invaders retreat from positions in Kharkiv oblast on bicycles and scooters stolen from residents after a failed attempt to resist the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Head of Izium District State Administration, Stepan Maselskyi, returned to Balakliia after the de-occupation of the city.

Donetsk oяblast

According to Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, a UN fact-finding mission on the Olenivka incident will start working within the next few days. On Facebook, he analyses the team’ members and doubts its impartiality.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, informed that russians killed 9 civilians: 5 in Bakhmut, 1 in Fedorivka, 1 in New-York and 2 in Zaitseve. 23 people were injured.

Russians shelled Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts overnight.

Bakhmut suffered the most: russians killed 8 people and injured 17. 20 private and 6 apartment buildings, 4 shops, the Palace of Culture and the administrative building were damaged. In addition, a market was hitю 107 containers were damaged. The city is without water and electricity for the fourth day. Repairs are impossible due to active hostilities.

In Pokrovsk district, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Maksymilianivka and Marinka were shelled. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

In Kramatorsk district, Konstiantynivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka and Sloviansk were under attack. In Sloviansk, storage facilities and a technical school building were damaged. Russian troops shelled downtown and an industrial zone on Vokzalna Street. There were no casualties.

An enterprise and a house in Kostiantynivka were damaged as a result of enemy shelling. Two houses were damaged in Rai-Oleksandrivka. There were no casualties.

Mariupol Mayor’s Councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that the invaders started transferring military equipment from Mariupol and sending it towards Berdiansk. Security in the city is intensified, military patrols are outside the Philharmonic and russian troops stay inside the building as of yesterday.

A bear from Donetsk oblast was brought to Domazhyr bear shelter in Lviv oblast. It was abandoned in a private house in Bakhmut, where hostilities are currently ongoing.

Luhansk oblast

According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, they continue to collect operational information regarding damage and losses caused to businesses in the region. Data from 450 information providers has already been processed. According to preliminary calculations, the total amount of damage caused due to russian military aggression currently equals over 6 billion UAH. This amount is growing every day, notably enterprise assets destroyed or damaged by russia.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that the  authorities in Sievierodonetsk are forcing the population to clean up their rubbish every week for free. This way, the invaders are organising “Clean Fridays”.

Referring to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, russians are bringing in reserves to Svatove to try to stop a counter-offensive by our troops.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

Andrii Nebytov, the Head of the National Police of Kyiv oblast reported that 258 additional cameras with facial recognition will be installed in Kyiv’s public places to detect and counteract subversive reconnaissance groups and saboteurs.

In the village of Moschun, remains of a person executed by the occupiers were sent for forensic examination. As of September 9, 1 360 bodies of those killed during active hostilities in Kyiv oblast have already been found.

Schools and kindergartens in Kyiv will be able to set up shelters at the expense of funds allocated for implementation of pre-election programs by deputies of the Kyiv City Council. This opportunity will exist only during martial law.

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reported that Iskrivska Street in Kyiv will be renamed in honor of the first president of the Chechen Republic Ichkeria, Dzhokhar Dudayev. Back in 1995, Dzhokhar Dudayev predicted russia’s aggression against Ukraine and temporary occupation of Crimea.

KPI student Ihor Klymenko, who develops demining robots, became a finalist of the Global Student Prize, a prize awarded to the world’s most outstanding students. For the past two years, Ihor has been developing Quadcopter Mines Detector project, a drone for remote search and gathering of information about explosive devices.

Zhytomyr oblast

The President of Office reported  that 867 buildings, damaged during the war, were restored. There are 50 high-rise buildings, 689 private houses, 13 medical facilities, 42 educational institutions among them. The boiler houses in Kyiv, Korosten and other settlements were also restored. 

During the meeting of the hospital council of Zhytomyr with the deputy head of health care Oleksii Yeremenko and head of hospitals of the oblast updated the planning of networks of medical facilities within the framework of medical reform.

Zhytomyr RMA reported that talented sportsmen and trainers of Zhytomyr were recognized and awarded before the Day of Sports. Many of them serve in the Armed Forces and territorial defense. 

A Zhytomyr resident Olena Lehenchuk has been supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the first days of war. She sold her car to purchase 15 night vision devices for Ukrainian defenders and visited many hot spots with a team of priests in the south and east of Ukraine. This time, they are sending the equipment, drones, long range surveillance scopes, food products and portable dental cabinets to the front.

Sumy oblast

Russian invaders continued shelling the Ukrainian border with rocket and barrel artillery, mortars and small arms. Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Khotyn, Bilopillia, Esman and Znob-Novgorodske communities of Sumy oblast came under attack. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported that there were no casualties.

At night, the russians shelled Shalygine community with mortars. There are no victims and destruction.

Head of Sumy RMA, Dmytro Zhivytskyi said that russian aviation, without crossing the border of Ukraine, shelled the hospital of the Velika Pysarivka community. 7 people were injured due to the shelling.

The command of the “Sumy” operational-tactical group decided to turn on the street lighting in the regional center from September 9. The regime of light camouflage, introduced since the beginning of the war, continues to operate.

Juvenile police officers, together with representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, told the students of Trostianets schools about the importance of observing the rules of personal safety. Police officers and rescuers told the children how to save their life during an air raid, what to do in case of detection of explosive devices and much more.

Chernihiv oblast

The enemy fired 120 mm mortars at the Horodnya territorial community near the village of Senkivka. 8 arrivals were recorded from the area of the russian settlement of Chornozemny Horodok.

During a trip to Chernihiv oblast, Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko held a meeting on preparation of energy facilities in the oblast for the autumn-winter period. As of today, 6 overhead lines remain de-energized in the oblast due to hostilities, but consumers have been restored in a backup manner.

Chernihiv gets rid of signs of occupying countries. Today, at the fountain of twin cities on the central boulevard, a granite element with the name of the belarusian former sister city of Gomel was replaced with a new one – with the name of the Polish sister city of Ryashiv. The element with the name of the Israeli city of Petah Tikva was also updated.

Rescuers of Chernihiv oblast received a STEYR fire truck, purchased in Austria using the funds of the South Korean aid fund for Ukraine. This was reported by the Department of State Emergency Services of the oblast. The donated car will be handed over to the 10th State Fire and Rescue Department of Mena, Koryukiv district.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The russian army shelled Nikopol district from heavy artillery again. People were not injured. Country houses and farm buildings were damaged. This was announced by head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko.

Vinnytsia oblast

A psychotherapeutic course “A wave of kindness from Switzerland to Vinnytsia” for  rehabilitation of victims of the shelling on July 14 is ongoing in Vinnytsia. Its goal is to bring psychological stability to the families of IDPs and families affected by the brutal terrorist attack. This was reported in the Vinnytsia City Council.

Kirovohrad oblast

Kirovohrad region continues to receive evacuation trains from Donetsk oblast. Since the evacuation began, 2 624 internally displaced persons (IDPs) have been resettled in local communities from this region alone. 640 of them are children. Velykoseverynivska community sheltered more than fifty IDPs today. In total, the region received 90K people, including 26 000 children.

Poltava oblast

The Red Cross Society handed over first-aid kits and backpacks with food to one of Kremenchuk schools to use in case of a long-term air alert. Svitlana Kyrylova, head of the Kremenchuk city organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, reported that backpacks contain water and puree, raisins and napkins and many other long-term storage products.

Cherkasy oblast

In Uman region, pyrotechnicians neutralized almost a hundred explosive objects in a day. This was reported in the Department of State Emergency Services of the region. 

The SSU reported that a resident of Kanev was involved in collaborative activities. According to the pre-trial investigation, the local resident actively promoted putin’s policy in social networks.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The occupiers shelled the civilian infrastructure in Temyrivka, Shcherbakh, Zarichne, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Novoiakovlivka, Rivnopillia, Huliaipole, Chervone, Mahdalinivka, Stepnohirsk, Luhivske, Poltavka, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Chervone, Olhivske, Charivne, Doronka, Zaghirne, Mali Shcherbaki, Stepove.

Regional police officers documented 28 reports on consequences of shelling.

Five settlements of the Polohy district came under enemy fire. There are killed and wounded civilians. Residential buildings, a store and a preschool educational institution were damaged.

Residents of Orikhiv and Mala Tokmachka reported destroyed houses, high-rise buildings and other objects of civilian infrastructure. As a result of enemy shelling, one person died of injuries. There are wounded civilians.

The enemy destroyed houses, farm buildings and homesteads in the villages of Rivnopillia and Iablukove. As a result of artillery shelling, a resident of Rivnopillia was fatally wounded.

Representatives of the russian federation are holding more than 80 people in captivity in the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol. This was reported by the mayor Ivan Fedorov.

Russian military bases and ammunition depots are located on the territory of five schools in the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol. According to the mayor Ivan Fedorov, one of these bases has already been destroyed by Ukrainian partisans.

1 137 people, including 235 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory.

A hub for internally displaced people from the temporarily occupied city of Enerhodar has been opened in Zaporizhzhia. IDPs can consult on legal, educational and social issues, as well as administrative services here.

An admirer of “russian peace” was sentenced to three years in prison in Zaporizhzhia. In 2014, he created and registered a website that broadcast banned russian propaganda TV channels.

Mykolaiv oblast

During the night, the enemy launched a missile strike from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system at the objects of the civilian infrastructure in Bashtanka district. 2 agricultural enterprises, private yards, and power lines were damaged. There are no casualties.

At night, Liubomyrivka, Zoria, Kotliareve, and Shyroke were attacked by the enemy.

As a result of night shelling of the Ingulka community, power was cut off in five settlements.

Shelling of the territory and nearby settlements of Bereznehuvate community continues. On September 8, the forest of the Bereznehuvate Forestry was ignited due to enemy strikes. There are no casualties.

On the night of September 9, occupiers shelled the territory of the Yavkyne village community. As a result of strikes, the entire community lost power.

The group of pyrotechnic works and underwater demining destroyed 108 enemy explosive objects discovered the day before on the territory of Mykolaiv oblast. There were high-explosive aerial bombs, the warhead of the S-300 missile, artillery shells of various calibers, and cluster elements among the ammunition.

Humanitarian aid from communities of Khmelnytskyi oblast arrived in Mykolaiv. Volunteers delivered food, water and building materials to the city.

The former head of the Mykolaiv District Prosecutor’s Office will be tried for treason. While in office, the suspect used the powers granted to him to collect information of a military and operational-service nature, which he passed on to representatives of enemy structures.

Odesa oblast

The composition and position of the enemy naval group in the Black Sea did not undergo significant changes. There are 3 missile carriers on combat duty, equipped with 24 Kalibr cruise missiles. The probability of launching missile strikes from the sea, from the air, and from occupied land remains extremely high.

The Security Service of Ukraine detained russian agents who were working on the launch of the pro-Kremlin media center “Tavria” in the south of Ukraine. It was supposed to distribute kremlin propaganda in the region through specially created Telegram channels, online television applications and radio broadcasts. Perpetrators were informed of suspicion of collaborative activity and treason.

Kherson oblast

According to the South Operational Command, the situation in the South Buh operational zone is complicated, but controlled by the Defense Forces, continuing to conduct active operations towards Kherson.

The enemy fired from barrel and rocket artillery along the contact line. Actively conducted aerial reconnaissance of UAVs, made more than 60 sorties.

During the combat day, the enemy launched 30 air strikes and 1 missile attack on our positions, as well as launched 4 R-27 missiles on our airplanes.

The Ukrainian aviation launched 6 strikes, and the missile and artillery units – 265 hits targeted on MLRS, buildups of weapons and equipment, pontoon crossings in the area of Nova Kakhovka.

The police of Kherson oblast recorded 20 war crimes committed by the russian military. The police exposed a number of collaborators from among officials of the penitentiary system of Kherson and the region. Law enforcement officers also recorded cooperation of the so-called “Director of the Employment Center” with occupying authorities.

Representatives of the russian security forces seized premises and official transport of the emergency service in Kherson, and expelled its employees.

Western regions

Volyn oblast

The Volyn enterprise Volyniekostars received a combine harvester for harvesting buckwheat, soybeans and sunflowers for three months free of charge. This aid to farmers was provided within the framework of the Harvest of Victory program, which is financed by the foundation American billionaire and philanthropist Howard Buffett.

57 children from families who fleeing the war found shelter in the Lutsk community and began studying at Lyceum #26 received humanitarian aid. Children received stationery.

In Novovolynsk and the village of Hryady, over fifty streets will be renamed, Soviet mosaic panels, the hammer and sickle monument will be dismantled.

Zakarpattia oblast

Head of the regional council Volodymyr Chubirko announced that Hungary is ready to co-finance the construction project of a waste processing plant in Zakarpattia.

Mayor of Uzhhorod Bohdan Andriyev handed over the keys to the apartment to the wife of the Hero of Ukraine Yury Mykhailiuk, who continues to defend the country. Previously, the captain of the A1778 military unit, the deputy commander of the 15th mountain assault battalion, Yurii Mykhailiuk, was awarded the highest state award – the Order of the Golden Star with the title of Hero of Ukraine.

The Uzhhorod City Council awarded volunteers who, from the first days of the war, rallied and helped the authorities in solving difficult issues. 83 volunteers and representatives of 23 public and charitable organizations received certificates.

The Uzhhorod City Council awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Uzhhorod (posthumously) to 5 fallen Heroes: Serhii Chernikov, Oleksandr Jum, Oleksandr Melnyk, Ivan Paida, Mykola Tatsyun.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The Ivano-Frankivsk City Court settled the case on forgery of the Land Rover Range Rover car registration certificate and decided to hand over the car to the needs of the Armed Forces.

The Rubizhan City Center of Tourism, Local History, Sports and School Youth Excursions reported that children from Rubizhny, Luhansk oblast, occupied and destroyed by the russians, went on vacation in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast. The Druzhba medical and recreational complex of the city of Dolyna accepted 31 children for rest and recovery.

Lviv oblast

Representatives of the Irish company Kingspan and the government office UkraineInvest met in the Lviv RMA. The company is considering the possibility of investing EUR 200 million to create a campus of construction technologies in Lviv oblast.

Head of the Lviv RMA Maksym Kozytskyi met with Head of the Donetsk RMA Pavel Kyrilenko. They discussed joint projects that will help provide displaced people from Donetsk oblast with housing in Lviv oblast.

Rivne oblast

The RMA reported that in belarus, near the northern borders of Rivne oblast, new field camps are being created and new mobile communication nodes are being placed.

Volunteers of the Varas community sent a car for a military unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Its value is over UAH 130K. Local residents donated the funds.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA held an online meeting chaired by the Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk. They discussed placement of IDPs in their compact settlements, as well as preparation for the heating season.

In Ternopil oblast, the police will check exhibitions and museums where there are weapons, as well as other exhibits from the Ukrainian-russian war. The decision was made at the regional defense council.

In Ternopil oblast, instead of flowers, students brought money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the First Bell. They collected almost UAH 9K.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Head of RMA Serhii Hamalii announced that Khmelnytskyi received a letter of support and humanitarian aid from the state of Mississippi (USA).

Chernivtsi oblast

Head of RMA Serhii Gamalii announced that this week, 2 more educational institutions in the oblast received approval to organize mixed education. There are 148 full-time schools in Bukovina.

Yevhen Klopotenko will host free cooking master classes for children in Chernivtsi.

International support

Pentagon announced that a $675 million aid package to Ukraine will include additional ammunition, four 105-mm howitzers, high-speed HARM anti-radar missiles, 100 HMMWV armored vehicles and 50 armored medical vehicles, over 5K anti-tank systems, grenade launchers and small arms, night vision devices vision, etc.

The British Ministry of Defense announced the UK will send over 120 vehicles for transportation of military cargo to Ukraine.

Biden talked with leaders of NATO member countries about Ukraine and threats from russia. They discussed security support and economic assistance to Ukraine.

US Defense Minister Lloyd Osti stated that the US have already provided Ukraine with half a million shells, but more artillery and ammunition are needed.

The EU Council approved complete suspension of the agreement on the simplified visa regime with russia. The solution should start working on September 12.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Edagrs Rinkevics announced on Twitter that the government of Latvia has restricted entry to the territory of the country to russian citizens.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki arrived in Kyiv to discuss the geopolitical situation, energy and military security.

Norway at the UN called on the world to help rebuild Ukraine after the war. “It is important for us to support Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts, so that millions of forcibly displaced people can return to their homes,” said Norway’s permanent representative to the organization Mona Jull.

The US introduced sanctions against Iran for supplying russia with drones.

The Diet of Latvia adopted a law on withdrawal of the Latvian Orthodox Church from the power of the russian orthodox church. The church has until October 31 to bring its charter into compliance with the new requirements of the law.
