Ukraine briefly

It has been the 197th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion.

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy continues to focus its efforts on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk oblast and holding temporarily occupied areas of Kherson, parts of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv oblasts. Intensive aerial reconnaissance with UAVs is conducted and measures are taken to improve logistics support of enemy troops.

The occupier launched 4 missile strikes on Kostiantynivka, Tsirkuny, Bereznehuvate and Kharkiv, there are civilian casualties; 15 airstrikes on military and civilian targets near Temyrivka, Krasnohorivka, Volodymyrivka and Novomykhailivka. Towards Volyn and Polissya, the situation has not changed. Some units of the Armed Forces of the republic of belarus continue to perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine. There is a threat of missile and air strikes on Ukrainian territory from the airspace and territory of this country.

In other directions, the enemy continued firing at military and civilian targets in the following settlements:

As a result of successful actions of the guerrilla movement in cooperation with the artillery of the Defense Forces, enemy units have significant problems with logistics support in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson oblast.

To counteract leakage of information about the movement of occupation units at the railway station of the settlement of Sokolohirne, the invaders have intensified filtering measures.

In the temporarily occupied territories of Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts, in preparation for the so-called “referendums”, the occupiers call on local residents who have left the temporarily occupied territory to return to their homes by October 1. In case of refusal, the russian invaders threaten to ‘nationalize’ their housing.

In the occupied part of the Chuhuiv district of  Kharkiv oblast, the enemy began active measures to forcibly mobilize the local population. Men of draft age are detained and sent to Vovchansk to the so-called ‘recruiting center’.

Units of the Defense Forces hold their positions and do not allow the advance of the enemy. The Ukrainian military successfully repulsed enemy attacks near Kostiantynivka, Dovhenke, Dibrovne, Hryhorivka, Kamianka, Marinka,  Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Soledar.

Rocket troops and artillery of ground groups of our troops continue to perform tasks of counter-battery warfare, destroying control and logistics systems, eliminating enemy manpower and military equipment.
