It has been the 195th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion. 

Ukraine briefly

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy continues to focus its efforts on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk Oblast, holding the captured areas of Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts.

Intensive UAV aerial reconnaissance is conducted. There are also attempts to improve the logistics support of enemy troops. 

During the day, the enemy launched more than six missile strikes, over ten airstrikes on military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine. There were more than thirty aircraft flights conducted to do this. In particular, the infrastructure in the areas of Asiivka, Bairak, Bilohirka,  Bila Krynytsia, Blahodativka, Kostromka, Novohryhorivka, Novopil, Novomykhailivka,  Olhivske, Pryshyb, Poltavka, Ternivka, Tetianivka, Velyke Artakove, Velyka Novosilka,Vremivka, came under fire. There remains a threat of air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed much. 

In other directions, the enemy fired at military and civilian infrastructure from tanks, combat vehicles, barreled and jet artillery, namely: 

towards Siversk, the enemy shelled civilian and military infrastructure in Khrinivka, Chernihiv oblast and Myropillia, Nova Huta, and Sopych, Sumy Oblast;

towards Kharkiv, the enemy shelled objects in the areas of Husarivka, Mospanove, Prudianka, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Slatyne, and Zalyman;

towards Sloviansk, the enemy did not conduct any active offensive actions. Brazhkivka, Dmytrivka, Dovhenke, Dolyna, Krasnopillia, Mazanivka were shelled;

towards Kramatorsk, there was fire damage fixed near Bohorodychne, Hryhorivka, Ivano-Dariivka, Kryva Luka, Platonivka, Siversk, Sydorove, Verkhniokamianske and Zakitne;

towards Bakhmut, the settlements of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Niu York, Maiorsk, Opytne, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Vesela Dolyna, Yuriivka, and Zaitseve  were hit;

towards Avdiivka, the settlements of Avdiivka, Opytne and Pervomaiske were shelled from mortars and barreled artillery;

towards Novopavlivka, settlements Marinka, Neskuchne,  Novomykhailivka, Paraskoviivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, were shelled;

towards Zaporizhzhia, the enemy fired artillery of various types near Novodanylivka, Bilohiria, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka, Cherve, Poltavka and Zliznychne;

towards the South Buh, the enemy fired along the contact line. In addition, there was intensive aerial reconnaissance with UAVs.

At the same time, because of significant losses, the number of enemy units allocated to restore combat capability has increased. Besides, units of private military companies have to be replenished by prisoners from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. The prisoners are offered amnesty, a russian citizenship and cash payments for their participation in the war against Ukraine.

Units of the Defense Forces hold their positions and do not give the enemy any chance to penetrate deep into the territory of Ukraine. Our military successfully repulsed enemy attacks in the areas of Avdiivka, Dolyna, Kodema, Liubomyrivka, Marinka, Novobakhmutivka, Soledar, and Zaitseve.

To support the actions of ground groups, aviation of the Defense Forces carried out more than eight strikes, hitting military and air defense equipment, eliminating manpower in strongholds of Donetsk and South Buh areas. 

In different directions, air defense units  destroyed one helicopter, several UAVs and five cruise missiles.

Rocket troops and artillery of ground troops continue to perform tasks of inflicting fire damage on manpower and military equipment, counter-battery warfare, destroying the enemy’s control and logistics system. Six enemy control points, including the corps one, were hit by fire. Three objects of the invaders’ manpower buildup were destroyed. Nine air defense systems were targeted. The damage is being clarified. Besides, electronic reconnaissance and warfare equipment, communication stations, pontoon and ferry crossings, eight ammunition depots of various levels were destroyed,

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that russia has deployed “military personnel, vehicles and equipment at various locations of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, including several military heavy trucks on the ground floor of turbine halls in Power Units 1 and 2”. The IAEA calls for an immediate cessation of any shelling of the station to avoid further damage, this requiring ‘consent of all involved parties’. They also added that “all vehicles that can interfere with the operation of safety systems and equipment” should be removed from the territory of the Zaporizhzhia NPP and  appropriate working conditions for personnel should be created.

Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Mustafa Naiyem announces that Ukraine and Poland have reached an agreement on unblocking traffic at the Dorohusk-Yahodyn checkpoint. This point will be used to exit empty freight transport. Additional information on the location of the checkpoint and the timing of the launch will be provided after agreeing on technical details. The day before, a group of Polish drivers blocked the Dorohusk-Yahodyn checkpoint on the border with Ukraine.

The Ukrhydroenerho reports that the Kakhovka HPP is re-connected to the power system. Currently, the station continues to operate in the power system according to the commercial dispatch schedule, issuing from 40 to 110 MW*h \ by a floating schedule to the Novokakhovska substation. The Ukrhydroenerho also notes: “Four units out of six operate at the Kakhovka HPP. One of the units is under reconstruction, and another one is under overhaul. The operational staff of the Kakhovka HPP is at the station 24/7, working in shifts.

The Desnianskyi District Court of Chernihiv arrested two servicemen involved in injuring children for 2 months with the right to make bail. This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation. Earlier the SBI officers reported on the suspicion of these servicemen of violating the rules of handling weapons, which caused bodily harm to several persons.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

The enemy launched airstrikes near Asiivka and Bairak settlements. The invaders shelled Husarivka, Mospanove, Prudianka, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Slatyne and Zalyman settlements. Brazhkivka, Dmytrivka, Dolyna, Dovhenke, Krasnopillia and Mazanivka were also under fire. 

Kharkiv Mayor, Ihor Terekhov, said that this night the enemy once again struck Kharkiv with a rocket attack. In the Industrial district, a two-storey building was damaged and a private house destroyed. A 73-year-old woman was killed.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that in the morning, two missiles, launched preliminarily from S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, landed in the Kyiv district. One of the missiles hit the roof of a 5-storey residential building, destroying three floors. The second missile struck the courtyard of an administrative building. Three people – two women and a man – were rescued from under the rubble of the residential building.

Russian invaders shelled Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv and Lozova districts. Houses and outbuildings were damaged and fires broke out.

Two men aged 39 and 52 were killed in Zolochiv. The enemy shelled 7 residential buildings.

Referring to the Ukrainian Air Force, in Kharkiv oblast, Ukrainian troops shot down two russian Orlan-10 type drones.

Two russian combat vehicles were destroyed by soldiers of the 229th battalion of the 127th Brigade of the Territorial Defense of Kharkiv.

Head of the Pechenihy community, Oleksandr Husarov, claimed that Russia launched two S-300 missiles at the settlement. The attack caused significant damage to the private sector, leaving apartment buildings without roofs, windows and doors. There were casualties, including a teenager.

Donetsk oblast

The invaders shelled cities and settlements in Donetsk oblast 17 times. As a result, a child was injured in Bakhmut. The State Emergency Service building was damaged.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, informed that russians injured 4 civilians: in Bakhmut, Heorhiivka, Khromove and Kostiantynivka. 

The invaders destroyed Gymnasium No. 2 in Kurakhove with a rocket attack. They destroyed one wing of the 4-storey building and damaged nearby residential apartment buildings. There were no casualties.

Head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, Vadym Liakh, said that the russian military shelled Industrialna Street in Sloviansk. As a result, a house was destroyed. There are no dead or wounded civilians. 

Relatives of Azovstal’s defenders gave a press conference on the conditions of detention of POWs in the occupied Olenivka and the investigation into the tragedy in the penal colony that led to the deaths of Ukrainian soldiers.

Mariupol Mayor’s Councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that the first wave of mobilisation is expected in Mariupol and the region on September 20.

Luhansk oblast

 Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, informed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced in Luhansk oblast. The counteroffensive is ongoing, there is some progress. Several hundred meters have been added, which are controlled by our military. He noted that in Luhansk there are a large number of killed militants who are difficult to identify, and the wives of those mobilized from the so-called “LPR” complain that russia has abandoned their husbands in Ukrainian captivity and does not want to exchange them.

 Residents of the occupied Lysychansk stand in long queues for bread for days. 

According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, all 4 universities that moved from Luhansk in 2014 were evacuated for the second time. 8 institutions of pre-higher education also left the occupied area.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that the Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater visited Poland on tour. On the stage of the Grotesque Theatre in Krakow, the play “Who am I?” was shown. The theatre was temporarily moved from occupied Luhansk and Sievierodonetsk to Sumy.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Kyiv oblast is 83% ready for the winter season. Cooperation with international partners continues to procure mobile boiler houses and diesel generators for the communities of the oblast.

Starting from September 1, 960 educational institutions have begun working remotely or on-site in Kyiv oblast. According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, educational institutions are equipped with shelters, electricity, water, ventilation, and sewage systems. If there are no shelters available in educational institutions, children can use shelters located within walking distance. Children and teachers have been familiarized with evacuation drills and rules.

The State Emergency Service of the oblast informs that the first Safety Classroom has been opened in the capital at school No.17. The classroom has all the necessary educational materials for children to quickly master the rules of water safety, actions in case of fire and detection of explosive objects.

According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, 20 schools in Bucha, Brovary, and Vyshhorod communities have received 100 laptops provided by the non-governmental organisation SOS Ukraine and the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania. As of now, 73 schools from de-occupied settlements in Kyiv oblast have received 583 laptops thanks to UNICEF.

Zhytomyr oblast

Zhytomyr oblast is ready to welcome internally displaced people from other regions. According to Head of Zhytomyr RMA Vitalii Bunechko, about 10K places have been prepared for people from eastern and southern parts of the country. Currently, there are about 80K IDPs in the oblast, who are provided with accomodation and everything necessary. By the end of the year, it is planned to build 40 houses with the funds allocated by the Italian government.

The heads of Zhytomyr and Kherson regional military administrations discussed the creation of the ‘I-Kherson’ humanitarian and information hub in the oblast. According to official data, almost 2K internally displaced persons from Kherson oblast live in Zhytomyr oblast and this number is likely to increase in the near future. This hub will allow promptly meeting immediate needs of the evacuated citizens.

As part of the Unified Lesson project, State Emergency Service specialists carry out emergency drills and safety lessons in Zhytomyr schools. The rescue service works closely with educational institutions – each school working during the war is assigned with a SES inspector. A long school bell now notifies students of danger.

The the city council reported the psychological and legal support office for war veterans is to be established in Zhytomyr. Crisis managers will work with veterans, and project management services will also be available.

According to the regional employment service reports, employment rates in Zhytomyr oblast are almost similar to the pre-war figures. Since the beginning of the year, more than 8K people who applied for employment assistance have found jobs.

Sumy oblast

Dmytro Zhivytskyi, Head of the RMA, said that over the past 24 hours, the russian military have shelled Sumy oblast more than 40 times with self-propelled guns and mortars. In total, 6 strikes were recorded, Seredina-Buda, Esman, Shalyhine, Myropillia, and Nova Sloboda communities came under russian fire. A high-voltage substation was damaged due to shelling in the village of Manukhivka, the Nova Sloboda community.

As reported in the “Sumy” OTG, during the artillery shelling of the Bilopillia community, mortar shells hit the center of the village of Volfyno and private houses were destroyed and damaged. Mortar shelling of Myropillia and artillery shelling of Bilopillia communities were also recorded.

About UAH 135.5 million is provided from the budget of Sumy oblast to purchase building materials for the restoration of residential buildings, hospitals, educational institutions and roads destroyed by the enemy. As reported by the Sumy RMA, 20 territorial communities of the oblast participate in the program. So far, construction materials worth more than UAH 11 million have been handed over to the affected communities.

The military administration reported that another batch of protective kits with helmets and body armour was handed over to the region’s energy workers, who are restoring power grids in hostility zones.

Chernihiv oblast

Yesterday, the enemy inflicted fire damage along the border of Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts using mortars and barrel artillery. Once again, the Snov community of the oblast came under enemy fire.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine, Mr. Yagmur Ahmet Güldere, reported on the initiative of Turkish producers to install structures for grain storage in the territory of the oblast for free and to participate in the restoration of infrastructure. Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Chernihiv RMA, announced this.

The Chernihivoblenerho reported that the last consumers of Chernihiv, who were left without electricity after the massive shelling of the city by the russian army, have been connected to the power grid. For this purpose, a new 3 km line and a transformer substation were installed by power engineers.

The Chernihiv RMA reported that humanitarian cargo has arrived from Kazakhstan. The oblast received more than 12 tons of food and almost a ton of hygiene products. Aid will be transferred to the communities most affected by active hostilities, as well as to vulnerable groups of the population.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

During the night, the occupiers attacked the Nikopol district twice. Head of the regional council Mykola Lukashuk informs that there were 20 shells launched from Grad MRLS and  barrel artillery. As a result, one private house and an outbuilding were completely destroyed. Two dozen apartment buildings and 11 private, 16 commercial buildings, 4 gas pipelines, some power lines, a transformer substation, a kindergarten, several lyceums, a church Sunday school, a center for technical creativity, a cafe and a sports club and 8 cars were damaged. A man and a woman in their 50s were injured. 

The enemy attacked the Marganets community with Grad MRLSs. There were 20 artillery strikes.

Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko reports that In the morning in Kryvyi Rih, the Russian army launched a missile attack on an oil depot  causing a fire.

Vilno-Hub, a six-month non-formal education program for children and youth who escaped the hostilities and occupation was opened in Kamianske. According to Director of the communal institution Center of Youth Initiatives Kateryna Borovyk, about 15 events in various areas of non-formal education are planned for participants aged from 6 to 35 every month.

Vinnytsia oblast

The Vinnytsia City Council reports that Vinnytsia residents from socially vulnerable population groups will receive 2,894 food kits within the UNICEF program. Each family is allocated as many sets as there are children in the family.

Vinnytsia educators implemented the charitable project Educational Family: We Help – We Win!. This was reported by the Vinnytsia City Council. Children made mascots, organized charity auctions, fairs, etc. In turn, parents and teachers were once again engaged in weaving camouflage nets for Ukrainian defenders. They also collected food, goodies, funds and office supplies, which were sent to the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and IDP centers.

Kirovohrad oblast

Director of the Malaniuk Regional Youth Library, Larysa Savenko says that the institution became a participant in the VilnoHub project. The project provides not only support for teenagers (IDPs), but also employment for two internally displaced persons. The project is financed by USAID. The Regional Center for Development of Services of the Regional Council helped almost a hundred internally displaced persons find permanent or temporary jobs.

Poltava oblast

The indictment against Head of the Vovchansk district court, Iryna Ukhaniova, was transferred to the district court in Poltava. The woman is accused of collaborating with the russian occupiers and called on other judges to be loyal to their enemies. According to the investigation, Iryna Ukhaniova contributed to formation of a self-styled russian judicial body on the territory of Vovchansk. The prosecutor’s office said she is to face life imprisonment.

Cherkasy oblast

Head of the Cherkasy RMA Ihor Taburets informs that thanks to the Cherkasy Help and Hope Fund and their partners, the Territorial Defense soldiers who are at the front will receive protective helmets, tactical glasses and first-aid kits.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The situation towards Zaporizhzhia has not undergone significant changes. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied borders.

The occupiers shelled Temyrivka, Huliaipole, Shcherbaki, Komyshuvakha, Mali Shcherbaky, Orihiv, Bilohiria, Novodanylivka, Chervone, Malynivka, Iurkivka, Novoandriivka, Poltavka, Olhivske, Zaliznychne, Dorozhnianka, Mala Tokmachka, Kamianske.

The police received 47 reports about the crimes of the russian occupiers. The aggressor aimed exclusively at civilians’ houses. There was no information about the injured.

Residents of Orikhiv reported dozens of destroyed houses and outbuildings.

Residents of Huliaipole and the nearby village of Uspenivka also suffered an armed attack. Citizens reported that the roofs, walls and windows of their houses were damaged as a result of the shelling.

At night, the occupiers launched a missile attack at the civil infrastructure of the Komyshuva territorial community. There were no injured or killed people. As a result of the shelling, apartment buildings were destroyed.

An explosion occurred in the center of the temporarily occupied Berdiansk. A car carrying the so-called commandant of the city, appointed by the occupiers, was blown up. He was taken to hospital in a very serious condition.

Local residents were left without electricity supply for almost 40 hours in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, since September 4. In most neighborhoods, it was restored only in the morning.

Head of the Ministry of Reintegration, Iryna Vereshchuk, demands the creation of a green corridor for evacuation because of the increased intensity of shelling of the temporarily occupied Enerhodar and the complex situation around the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

Over the past day, 1,266 people, including 309 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory.

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, appointed Bohdan Starokon Head of the Vasylivka District State Administration of Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Mykolaiv oblast

The enemy tried to attack the positions of the Ukrainian defenders towards Novohryhorivka. In response, fire was opened to damage and destroy an enemy Ka-52 attack helicopter.

During the night, the enemy attacked the Bereznehuvate community using Smerch multiple rocket launchers. Agricultural fields and an elevator were hit by enemy fire. No human losses are reported.

In the morning, the enemy fired 5 Kh-101 air-to-ground cruise missiles from the northern part of the Caspian Sea. Air defense forces detected and destroyed four of them in the sky over Mykolaiv oblast. One rocket hit an oil depot in Kryvyi Rih. A large-scale fire broke out.

At night, russian troops attacked Lavkine in the Bashtanka community.The warehouse was hit. Detailed information on damage and victims is being clarified. Law enforcement officers are working at the scene. Also yesterday afternoon, Shyroke was shelled.

As of September 6, Mykolaiv oblast is ready for the start of the heating season. Vitalii Kim, Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, told about it. Local residents are advised to stock up on fuel for generators, as force majeure may occur due to shelling.

Another batch of humanitarian aid was sent to the Bashtanka region. As reported by the Humanitarian Headquarters at the Mykolayiv RMA, residents of the region received food and hygiene products.

Odesa oblast

The enemy naval group in the Black Sea is on combat duty, equipped with 16 Kalibr cruise missiles.

Health care institutions in Odesa oblast received eight mobile X-ray diagnostic devices Mobile X-ray MobiEye 700.

Kherson oblast

According to the ‘South’ Operational Command, no significant changes in the condition, composition and position of the enemy were noted during the night. The situation in the South Buh operational zone remains steadily tense, but is controlled by the defense forces.

At night, the Armed Forces hit 2 ferry crossings in the districts of Dariivka and Hola Prystan. 35 occupiers and 4 infantry fighting vehicles were also liquidated during the night.

The enemy is concentrating its efforts on holding the occupied lines and launching airstrikes towards Mala Seidemenukha, Pravdyne, and Bilohirka.

The enemy carried out assaults towards Shmidtove and Ternovi Pody, but was unsuccessful.

During the day, the enemy launched 24 air and 3 missile strikes.

Ukrainian aviation launched 18 airstrikes on the positions, logistics, command and support points of the enemy.

The air defense forces destroyed two Kh-59 missiles during a missile attack on the liberated territories of Kherson oblast near Andriivka.

Missile and artillery units completed 370 fire missions to defeat enemy air defense units, military buildups, electronic warfare stations and pontoon crossings near Dariivka and along the Kakhovska HPP.

Confirmed losses of the enemy are 86 soldiers, 4 tanks, 12 units of armored vehicles, 4 howitzers of 152-caliber Msta-B and Msta-S, 3 152-caliber field guns Hyacinth-B and Hyacinth-S, a communication station and an anti-tank missile complex.

4 enemy ammunition depots in Beryslav, Kherson and Bashtanka districts were liquidated.

Over the past day, the russian military shelled populated areas of Beryslav and Kherson districts. There are killed and wounded civilians. Infrastructure objects were partially destroyed and damaged as a result of shelling.

The russian military stole three ambulances from a dispensary in Kherson oblast. This is reported by the regional police.

The Kherson regional prosecutor’s office announced suspicion of collaborative activity against a resident of Donetsk oblast, who voluntarily took the position of the so-called “deputy head of the Kherson military-civilian administration.”

Russian soldiers abducted three doctors in Kakhovka. One was later released, two are in captivity. Currently, the location of the doctors is unknown.

As of September 6, the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station continues to work within the power system of Ukraine. Four units out of six are operating at the station: one is under reconstruction, the second is under major repair. Operational personnel are present at the HPP 24 hours a day. This was reported by the Ukrhydroenerho.

Western regions

Volyn oblast

The RMA reported that German UKSH Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein clinic handed over 2 new ventilators and an anesthesia-respiratory machine to the Volyn regional hospital. The equipment costs about UAH 5 million.

Fighters of the 100th separate brigade of the Volyn Territorial Defense  received 2 cars and Starlink complexes. Hyundai was handed over thanks to the charity organization Unilex.

Zakarpattia oblast

Head of the RMA Viktor Mykyta announced that Zakarpattia received 40 950 doses of Pfizer’s vaccine against COVID-19 under the Hungarian government’s support program. Anti-COVID drugs were transferred to the Regional Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, some doses will be sent to Lviv oblast. The cost of assistance is 800K euros.

Head of the RMA Viktor Mykyta announced that Zakarpattia people, who sheltered forced displaced people free of charge, will receive financial assistance from the regional budget. One-time payment of UAH 4K will be provided for accommodation of two or more IDPs for a period of at least 30 calendar days.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The Ivano-Frankivsk urban territorial community was the first in Ukraine to approve the Program for Promoting the Development of Volunteerism.

In the RMA, a meeting took place with representatives of the USA Agency for International Development.They discussed protection and support of forcibly displaced Ukrainians who came to Prykarpattia.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, a thematic seminar for volunteers Supporting IDPs in Ivano-Frankivsk and the Oblast – Urgent Problems and Long-Term Support Strategies was held.

Surgeons from the USA will come to Ivano-Frankivsk to operate on Ukrainian servicemen with head and neck injuries.

Lviv oblast

Head of the Lviv RMA Maksym Kozytsky held an online meeting with the Voivode of Pidkarpatskia (Poland) Eva Leniart. They discussed reduction of queues at checkpoints on the Ukrainian side.

Agatha Kornhauser-Duda, the first lady of the Republic of Poland, visited Lviv. During the trip, she visited a hospital where badly ill children from all over Ukraine are admitted, their condition is stabilized, and then they are evacuated to Poland.

The RMA held a meeting with the Consul General of the Czech Republic in Lviv Davyd Novy. During the meeting, the Consul General promised help with vehicles, medicines, medical equipment and food.

The Youth Council of Lviv oblast visited Krakow and Rzeszow. During the trip, they signed a memorandum of cooperation with Polish youth councils and the Jagiellonica Association at the Jagiellonian University.

The RMA reported that another UAH 4 million were allocated from the oblasts budget to arrange and repair housing for IDPs. Over UAH 80 million have already been transferred out of the planned UAH 226 million. A total of 40 projects will be implemented in 25 institutions.

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Lviv received a modern and fast MRI machine. Medical equipment is humanitarian aid from the government of Poland.

The People’s House in Veliki Hrybovychy, which will be the first non-modular housing for forcibly displaced Ukrainians, received appliances, dishes, furniture, etc. Humanitarian aid was provided by Goal Global together with the City Institute. The total cost of assistance is over 13K euros.

On the Day of Knowledge, the Museum of Dignity in Lviv, together with the State Natural Museum of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, gave presents – toys, stationery and a commemorative postcard  – to children of fallen heroes of the russian-Ukrainian war from the participants of the 27th Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition.

Rivne oblast

Training evacuation exercises in case of possible radiation threats were held in Rivne oblast. Representatives of oblast and local authorities, rescuers and security forces took part in it.

The RMA reported that they are planning to create a Hippotherapy Center in Rivne oblast. It was about the Myrohoshchan racecourse. Now, a business plan is being prepared.

Rivne oblast will receive ambulances under Olena Zelenska’s initiative. The first of them is expected this week. The fundraiser for the car started as part of the second Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil Oblast is completing preparations for the new heating season. All boiler houses of the oblast have been prepared, as well as 136 residential buildings (82%) and 1 028 objects of social and cultural purpose (83%).

The Ternopil City Council handed over 60 backpacks with necessary school supplies for orphans, children who are deprived of parental care and for Ternopil students whose families are in difficult life circumstances.

In Ternopil oblast, during the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the city of Chortkov, over UAH 25K was collected for the needs of the Armed Forces.

On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Chortkov, an art auction was organized in the city. One lot – three books on the history of Chortkov Peter Fedoryshyn in a single copy were purchased for UAH 125K. The author will direct the proceeds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Plastuns once again organized a charity fair in Zbarazh. The collected money will be used for the needs of the Armed Forces.

In the Ternopil Science Center, where the humanitarian headquarters is based, food and basic hygiene kits are distributed for large families.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Head of the Khmelnytskyi RMA Serhii Hamalii held an online meeting with the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship Jakub Helstovsky. They discussed bilateral cooperation in the fields of medicine and education, in particular – treatment and rehabilitation of servicemen wounded in the war.

Chernivtsi oblast

Institutions of social protection of the population of Bukovyna received humanitarian aid – mattresses, blankets, dishes, partitions, flashlights, canisters, awnings. The aid to the oblast was provided by the Rokada Charitable Foundation, a partner of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Chernivtsi Cathedral Square has turned into a war museum. The trophies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were displayed here. The equipment that was destroyed by the military in Kyiv oblast and near Bucha is presented. The exhibition will be active until September 11.

The Department of Health Protection of Chernivtsi oblast reported that doctors of the Khotyn Hospital conduct outpatient appointments for IDPs. In two days, the workers of the mobile brigade provided professional medical assistance to residents of three villages of the Dnistrovsky district. 

International support

The General Director of the company Haluk Bayraktar stated that three Bayraktar TB2 drones, which the Baykar manufacturer gave to Ukraine free of charge after the People’s Bayraktar campaign, have already arrived in Ukraine.

NATO confirmed that it can provide 50% of the Armed Forces with winter equipment.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Great Britain began preparations for the visit of the new British Prime Minister Liz Truss to Kyiv.

The largest German gas importer Uniper announced cessation of supplies from russia.

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine reported that the Gothenburg Book Fair will be held in Sweden on September 22-25. Ukrainian publishers can take part in it for free.
