Ukraine briefly:

It has been the 194th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military aggression.

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The occupiers continue to focus on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk oblast, holding temporarily occupied areas of Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts.

There is still a threat of massive air and missile strikes on military and civilian infrastructure throughout Ukraine.

In the Black Sea, enemy carriers of sea-based cruise Kalibr missiles are still in full combat readiness.

The enemy carried out more than 40 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems and over 25 airstrikes to destroy military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine.

The enemy launched airstrikes on the settlements of Zalyman, Kharkiv oblast; Bohorodychne, Dmytrivka, Kodema, Krasnohorivka, Soledar, Yakovlivka, Zaitseve of Donetsk oblast and Dorozhnianka of Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed significantly.

Towards Siversk, borderline settlements of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts were shelled.

In other directions, the enemy continued shelling military and civilian infrastructure, namely:

towards Kharkiv – Bairak, Borshchova, Chepil, Dementiivka, Husarivka, Mospanove, Momotove, Nove, Odnorobivka, Petrivka, Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Slobozhanske, Sosnivka, and Udy;

towards Sloviansk – Bohorodychne, Dibrivne, Krasnopillya and Virnopillia;

towards Kramatorsk – Donetske, Kryva Luka, Pyskunivka, Siversk and Spirne;

towards Bakhmut – Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Kodema, Maiorsk, Mykolaivka, Soledar, Vesele, and Zaitseve;

towards Avdiivka – Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Oleksandrivka, and Vodiane;

towards Novopavlivka – Kermenchyk, Novomykhailivka, Vilne Pole and Vremivka;

towards Zaporizhzhia – Chervone, Huliaipole, Kamianske, Novosilka, Novopil, Zelene Pole.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy focused on the defense of previously occupied lines and positions. The invaders continued shelling Kvitneve, Liubomyrivka, Lymany, Lupareve, Myrne, Novohryhorivka, Posad Pokrovske, Prybuzhske, Oleksandrivka, Shevchenkove, Tavriiske and Ukrainka.

The command of military units of the 1st Army Corps of the russian occupation forces is taking measures to forcibly transfer conscripts to a contract, which makes it impossible for them to be dismissed from military service within three years. Besides, this category is not subject to one-time payments for signing such contracts, which significantly reduces the moral and psychological state of the personnel.

The enemy continues to commit illegal actions in Kherson oblast. Thus, russian occupiers turned off the Kakhovka HPP, causing de-energization of parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.

The defense forces continue to conduct a defensive operation, holding certain lines. They do not allow the advance of invaders deep into the territory of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian military successfully repulsed enemy assault attempts towards the settlements of Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka, Lozove, Pokrovske, Semihiria, Spartak, Soledar and Zaitseve. Towards Kramatorsk, they had tactical success and knocked out the enemy from the previously occupied positions.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repels missile and air strikes of the enemy, effectively defends critical facilities on the territory of Ukraine.

To support the actions of ground units, the aviation of the Defense Forces inflicted more than 15 strikes aimed at destroying enemy manpower, combat and special equipment, as well as other military facilities of the enemy. Rocket troops and artillery of the Defense Forces continue fire support for the actions of our ground troops.

According to the updated data, the losses of the enemy were confirmed. As a result of successful fire damage in the area of the settlement of Kupiansk, Kharkiv oblast, the occupiers lost more than 100 servicemen killed and wounded, and two combat vehicles were destroyed. In the city of Kherson, over 30 servicemen and 3 enemy tanks were eliminated. In the area of the Antonovsky Bridge and the crossing, an anti-aircraft missile system and six enemy trucks were destroyed.

Successful actions of the Defense Forces resulted in disabling river crossings near Kherson and once again nullified the aggressor’s attempts to resume the transfer of troops across the Dnieper River.

The Enerhoatom informs that over the past three days, russian occupation forces have been intensively shelling the area around the Zaporizhzhia NPP. As a result, 750 kV power lines ZNPP – Dniprovska, 330 kV lines of ZaTPP – Kakhovska and 330 kV lines  ZaPP – Melitopol were damaged and disconnected, as well as the 750/330 kV autotransformer of the ZNPP was damaged. Currently, 330 kV power of the ZaTPP – Ferosplavna, i.e. the last line that connected the ZNPP / ZaTP with the power system of Ukraine are disconnected.

Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar says that the Defense Ministry does not intend to put all women on military registration. Until October 1, this delay is not valid. Further, it is supposed that from October 1, there is actually no mandatory registration for women. She also stresses that currently the Armed Forces of Ukraine need such specialties as medical workers, cooks, radio-electronic engineers. Women will be able to make decisions on military registration on their own.

Residents of the occupied territories, including the Crimea peninsula, should monitor announcements of the authorities on compliance with recommendations during de-occupation. This was written by Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podoliak. It is essential to prepare enough water, charge power banks, and also equip shelters. The day before, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the liberation of one settlement in Donbas and two in the south of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Air Defense is already shooting down from 50 to 70% of russian missiles. This was announced by the Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Major General Mykola Zhyrnov, in an interview with Army Inform. He also added that from 50% to 70% of enemy missiles are shot down by air defense systems by both aviation and anti-aircraft missile units. Unfortunately, 100% of effectiveness of air defense operations cannot be ensured due to objective reasons such as insufficient amount of reconnaissance equipment, aviation and anti-aircraft missile systems.
