Ukraine briefly:

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy is trying to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk Oblast and hold the seized areas of Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv Oblasts.

The invaders continue launching air and missile strikes on military and civilian targets on the territory of our state.

At night and in the morning, 5 missile strikes were carried out on the city of Kharkiv, two of which were launched from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. Also, 23 missiles from the Hrad and Urahan multiple launch rocket systems were fired at Ivanivka, two of which were cluster munitions. 9 airstrikes were carried out on the settlements of Marinka, Peremoha, Soledar,  and Zaitsevo.

Towards Volyn and Polissya, the situation has not changed significantly. Certain units of the Armed Forces of the republic of belarus are performing tasks to enhance the borderline section in Brest and Gomel oblasts. Control inspections of the units and preparations for regular military exercises are underway. In the city of Brest, deployment of UAV units of the Armed Forces of the russian federation, which are involved in the reconnaissance of border areas of Ukraine, was discovered.

Towards Siversk, the enemy holds separate units of the rf Armed Forces in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk Oblasts. The enemy shelled the areas of Kamianska Sloboda, Khrinivka, Senkivka in Chernihiv Oblast and Maiske, Novovasylivka, Nova Sloboda, Sukhodil, Sumy Oblast.

Towards Sloboda region, the situation has not undergone significant changes. Units of the Defense Forces hold their positions and do not give the enemy any chance to move further into the territory of our state.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy shelled the areas of  Cherkaski Tyshky,  Petrivka, Peremoha, Pryshyb, Pytomnyk, Russki Tyshky,Sosnivka, Staryi Saltiv, Velyki Prokhody, and Udy.

Remote mining of the area was performed near the settlement of Lebiazhe.

The defense forces successfully repulsed the enemy attack at the settlement of Husarivka.

Towards Sloviansk, enemy units fired tanks, mortars, barreled artillery and multiple launch rocket systems at the areas of Bohorodychne, Brazhivka, Dibrovne, Dolyna, Donetske, Krasnopillia, Raihorodok, Virnopillia. The enemy did not conduct active offensive actions. 

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy was shelling Hryhorivka, Ivano-Dariivka,  Pereizne, Rozdolivka, Siversk, Vesele, Verkhniokamianske.

Towards Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Bakhmutske, Kodema, Maiorsk, Niu York, Soledar, Sukha Balka, Yakovlivka, and Yuriivka were fired from mortars, tanks, barreled and rocket artillery.

The defense forces successfully repulsed enemy attacks towards the settlements of Bakhmutske, Soledar, Vesela Dolyna.

By conducting offensive actions, units of the so-called Kadyrov’s fighters are trying to advance towards the settlements of Maiorsk and Zaitseve. Fighting continues.

Towards Avdiivka, the settlements of Tonenke, Avdiivka, Heorhiivka, Karlivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Vesele and Vodiane, were shelled.

By conducting offensive and assault actions, the enemy tried to gain a foothold towards the settlements of Nevelske, Opytne and Pervomaiske. Thanks to the coordinated actions of the Defense Forces, the enemy was pushed back to previously occupied positions.

Towards Novopavlivka, there were no active offensive actions. The settlements of Bohoyavlenka, Neskuchne, Nikolske, Novomaiorsk, Prechystivka, and Velyka Novosilka was shelled.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the enemy shelled objects in the settlements of Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Novoocheretuvate, Novosilka, Novopil, Novodarivka, Novodanylivka, Vremivka, Zaliznychne.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy shelled Liubymivka, Liubomyrivka, Luch, Lymany, Partizanske, Novopetrivka, Prybuzke, Shevchenkove, Stepova Dolyna, Shyroke, Trudoliubovka, Tavriiske.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully repulsed the enemy’s offensive near Vysokopollia and Potiomkyne. 

The enemy’s ships in the Black and Azov Seas continue conducting reconnaissance and blocking civilian shipping. The threat of missile strikes on objects and infrastructure elements in the depths of Ukraine remains.


According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the 191st day of the full-scale invasion, russia lost almost 49 K servicemen and more than 2 thousand tanks. The enemy suffered the greatest losses in Donetsk and Kurakhiv directions.

In Donetsk Oblast, another exchange of prisoners took place. Ukraine has returned 14 of its defenders. Among them are ten fighters of the 58th Separate Mechanized Brigade (OMB) and four of the 30th Mechanized Brigade. They were captured by the occupying forces in the spring of this year. The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported that among those exchanged were an officer and a military medic.


Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders shelled settlements of Kharkiv oblast with aviation, tanks and artillery. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed fuel and lubricant storages in Kupiansk. The enemy remotely mined Lebiazhe, Chuhuiv district. In Izium direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled invader’s attacks near Husarivka.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that overnight the invaders launched rocket attacks on Kharkiv in the Kholodna Hora district. There were no casualties. Two rockets hit the land, premises and cars were damaged. At the scene, law enforcers are recording new crimes committed by russians. 

Russian terrorists destroyed a premise of the Lokomotyv Sports Complex named after H. Kirpa in the Kholodna Hora district with S-300 missiles. A pool and a modern boxing club, opened in February this year, were destroyed.

The invaders launched artillery attacks on Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kharkiv regions. Private buildings were damaged and fires occurred on open areas. A premise of one of the emergency assistance points was under fire in the Chuhuiv community.

Three women aged 47, 66 and 39 were hospitalized in the Izium district. A 63-year-old man was killed in the Kharkiv region due to the shelling. 

Donetsk oblast

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, informed about 4 killed civilians: one in Avdiivka, two in Toretsk and one in Velyka Novosilka. 10 more people were injured.

Power engineers of Donetsk oblast restored electricity supply in Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Marinka, Selydove, Sloviansk and Toretsk communities. In more than 21 families the power is back.

In Sloviansk, russian troops shelled Teremok kindergarten. In the aftermath, there were no casualties.

 The Toretsk City Military Administration said that residents, aged 30 and over, received food parcels.

As a result of the shelling of Kurakhove, a worker of the State Emergency Service was injured.

Luhansk oblast

 Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that a “referendum” in the temporarily occupied territories will not be held soon. 

According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, more than 200 Sievierodonetsk children are going to the first grades of the New Ukrainian School. Five schools evacuated from Rubizhne teach 2,313 children remotely. Schools in Rubizhne started the new school year in an online format. 

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Jeppe Kofod, and President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Duarte Paszeku, visited Bucha region. It was reported by the Kyiv RMA. Together with the representatives of the Kyiv RMA, Jeppe Kofod visited Hostomel. During the visit, the guests inspected the Antonov airfield and the AN-225 “Mriya” aircraft destroyed by the russian army. There was also a presentation of special equipment received from the government of Denmark for the needs of the State Emergency Service.

President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union visited Bucha region, Duarte Paszeku, visited de-occupied territories: Makariv, Andriivka, Borodianka, and Irpin. In Irpin, he visited the Community Hall destroyed by the invaders and the “graveyard” of civilian cars that were shot by the russian army when the civilians were trying to evacuate.

The last 15 unidentified victims of the russian invaders were buried in Bucha. Number plates were placed on the crosses. About fifty civilians who died as a result of russian military aggression in Bucha remain unidentified. DNA samples have been taken from all of them.

Maria Prymachenko’s art residence will appear in Kyiv oblast. This was announced by Head of the RMA Oleksiy Kuleba. After visiting the artist’s house today, he has initiated the creation of a working group that will develop the location in the Ivankiv community.

Kyiv citizens donated 25 tons of books in russian language for waste paper. The money raised will be spent on a car for the military. According to the City Store agency of the Kyiv City State Administration, over 1.7 K people joined the paper recycling initiative.

An atmospheric and eventful seven-day event took place in Kyiv oblast – the Main Camp of the country. According to Oleksii Kuleba, Head of the Kyiv RMA, every day young people from all regions of the country participated in various sports activities – kayaking, basketball, baseball, volleyball and archery – under the guidance of coaches.

The Art-Stop project will be implemented in Fastiv region. This was announced by the Fastiv City Council. Specialists of Driada Flowers Company have joined the initiative to create real oases of beauty near bus stops. The paintings are implemented with the support and co-financing of the EU and the British Council in Ukraine.

The Kyiv City State Administration informs that on September 1, a new form of special permits was introduced in Kyiv. The permits will have a more complex security system due to the frequent cases of document forgery and violations of the movement restrictions during the curfew. According to the Commandant’s Office of the city, the permits will not be provided to civilians, public organizations, charitable foundations, unions, associations, and groups.

Zhytomyr oblast

The Office of the President reports that 719 facilities destroyed during the war have been fully reconstructed in the oblast. These are mostly residential buildings, as well as kindergartens, administrative buildings, etc. 

Mine clearance continues in the areas affected by enemy shelling in Zhytomyr oblast. The Korosten District State Emergency Service, the National Police, and volunteer battalions are working almost non-stop on the territory of Narodnytske village community. 2 heat-generating boilers in Zhytomyr and 8 in Korosten and Novo-Lyvynske village are fully ready for operation. A pumping station in the village has resumed its work.

According to the Zhytomyr Regional Forestry and Hunting Department, a forest guard vehicle was blown up on a mine in the Narodnytske Forestry. Two people were injured – a gamekeeper from the Radchanske forestry died on the spot, and a forester was injured and taken to hospital.

The Face of AFU Logistics photo exhibition was held in Zhytomyr. The aim of the project is to bring importance of the Logistics Force to public attention. The photos show real people in the line of duty. Earlier the photo exhibition was successfully held in Kyiv metro.

Around 102,000 pupils in Zhytomyr have started their studies at local schools. Another 36,000 will study remotely, said Vitaliy Bunechko, the head of Zhytomyr regional military administration. 1,100 children were evacuated to other regions.

According to the culture department of the city council, “The Strong People of the Free City” art festival for children will be held in Zhytomyr on September 3. Children will be able to take part in various arts and crafts workshops.

Rescue teams extinguished 17 fires in Zhytomyr oblast within 24 hours, 7 of which occurred in ecosystems.

Sumy oblast

Head of the Sumy RMA, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi said that russian troops shelled the territory of the Krasnopillia community with barrel artillery and mortars,  a total of 35 hits were recorded. The forests caught fire due the shelling, the fire is still ongoing. There is no information about victims and destruction.

The RMA reports that more than UAH 20 billion is needed to compensate for the damage caused by russia to Sumy oblast. After the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 145 settlements of the oblast were completely occupied. During the occupation, almost 2.5 K objects of critical infrastructure and housing were destroyed. These are educational, health care institutions and enterprises. All crimes of the aggressor on the territory of Sumy oblast are recorded. In addition, the oblast remains the most mined of all the liberated territories of Ukraine. 

Chernihiv oblast

While preparing a story about the consequences of shelling in the village of Senkivka, Chernihiv oblast, the Russian military dropped explosives from a drone on the ICTV Facts film crew. The journalist, cameraman and driver were not injured.

First aid training has been conducted for two months by volunteers of the Pryluky City District Organization of the Red Cross Society. In particular, they are trained to stop bleeding and provide first aid for injuries. Training has already been conducted in Ichnyansk, Sukhopoloviansk, Ladansk, Malodivytsia and Lynovytsia territorial communities. Students who have completed the training course receive a certificate recognized in 192 countries of the world.

Three communities of the Pryluky district – Ichnyanskaya, Parafiiivska and Sukhopolovianskaya – received building materials for the reconstruction of housing, which was destroyed by russian troops during the occupation. This was reported in the Pryluky RMA. Cement, drywall, ruberoid, etc. are distributed among residents of settlements whose housing is partially or completely destroyed.

The villages of the Kulikivka community will be restored with the help of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). Representatives of a non-governmental Norwegian humanitarian organization operating in 25 countries will help residents of destroyed and damaged villages with building materials. To assess the extent of the destruction, NRC representatives visited the affected villages.

In the village of the Snovska hromada, children have set up a checkpoint where they raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Eight-year-old Mykhailo Omelyanenko, together with friends – three guys and a girl – stop and check the passing cars, and the collected funds are transferred for storage to the village council.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast 

Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Mykola Lukashuk reports that he enemy continues to shell the Nikopol region. In the Chervonohryhorivka community, 16 private residential buildings, 9 outbuildings, several cars, a gas pipeline and some power lines were damaged. Three villages were left without power and water. One private house was completely destroyed and its 56-year-old owner suffered thermal burns to his back and torn wounds to his face.

Among all the regions of Ukraine, Dnipropetrovsk oblast hosted the largest number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) — 324,103, of which almost 77 K were children. According to Mykola Lukashuk, almost 73 K displaced persons are those with limited mobility and the elderly. Currently, more than 130 K IDPs are living in Dnipro, over 60 K in Kryvyi Rih, and almost 35 K in the Kamianske region.

 Vinnytsia oblast

Within the UNICEF project Partnership “for Every Child”, 6 laptops were donated to the social services of Vinnytsia to increase efficiency of social services in wartime conditions. According to Oleksandra Churkina, coordinator of the children’s rights protection project at the UNICEF office, the equipment will help specialists promptly process big data on families who raise children deprived of parental care and orphans.

Folding beds, food, hygiene products and warm clothes will be delivered to the Ukrainian military from Vinnytsia. Local musician and showman Viktor Broniuk will deliver all this to the destination. The opportunity to help our defenders appeared thanks to the efforts of the Interregional Coordination Humanitarian Headquarters and the Polish twin city of Vinnytsia, Kielce.

Kirovohrad oblast

In Kropyvnytskyi, at the Mariupol assistance center, first-graders from Mariupol are given free backpacks with school supplies purchased with the help of the Mariupol City Council. In such a way, children evacuated from the city captured by russian terrorist forces were congratulated on the occasion of the new school year.

Poltava oblast

Communities of Poltava oblast received 4.7 K blankets, 1.4 K mattresses, 2 K pillows and 1.5 K kitchen sets for internally displaced persons (IDPs). Humanitarian assistance provided by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees will primarily be sent to educational institutions where IDPs live. Head of the Poltava RMA Dmytro Lunin says that soon the oblast will again receive people who are evacuated from the areas where hostilities are ongoing.

Cherkasy oblast

Bags filled with aromatic herbs for defenders are gifts for fighters made by pupils with visual impairment from kindergarten No. 27 Romashka. The Humanitarian Center of Cherkasy reports that there are children’s drawings, as well as mint, lemon balm, chamomile, linden, ivan-tea and other fragrant herbs in the bags.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in connection with the arrival of the IAEA mission, the russian occupiers had removed all military equipment from the territory of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. Part of the equipment was moved to the Atom Enerhomash plant, the rest – to the nearest settlements.

After assessing the situation at the ZNPP, the IAEA mission has concluded that the most dangerous situation is currently with the physical integrity of the plant. The threat of a nuclear catastrophe remains due to the ongoing hostilities.

General Director of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, says that after the end of the mission, two representatives of the organization will remain at the ZNPP. He adds that he will provide a report on the situation at the plant to the IAEA executive board next week, and on September 6 he will report to the UN Security Council.

Power Unit No. 5 of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, which was shut down on September 1 due another mortar shelling by russian terrorist forces, has been connected to the power grid, and capacity is being added. Currently, two power units are operating at the plant, which produce electricity for the needs of Ukraine. Enerhoatom reported that there are no comments regarding the operation of equipment and safety systems.

the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that towards Zaporizhzhia, the enemy carried out shelling in the areas of the settlements of Novoocheretuvate, Novosilka, Vremivka, Novopil, Novodarivka, Zaliznychne, Dorozhnyanka, Novodanнlivka, Bilohiria.

It has been confirmed that 3 enemy artillery systems, as well as a warehouse with ammunition and a company of enemy personnel were eliminated by precise strikes of our troops in the areas of Kherson and Enerhodar. The wounded were taken to medical facilities near Borozenske, Kherson oblast. Due to the inadequate medical care, most of the occupiers died from injuries.

Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko said that the movement of military equipment in the temporarily occupied Mariupol towards Zaporizhzhia oblast is recorded for the second day in a row. It is noted that enemy equipment is heading to Berdyansk.

The Zaporizhzhia RMA reported that the preparation of the oblast for an emergency at the ZNPP due to occupiers’ actions continues. A series of exercises was launched, the purpose of which is to check capabilities of special services of the oblast. A converted department for treatment of patients with radiation damage has been deployed in one of the medical institutions.

The Department of Emergency Situations of the oblast reports that training for rescue volunteers continues in Zaporizhzhia. It was held at the Training and Methodological Center for Civil Protection and Life Safety. So far, 115 volunteers have completed the training course. They were involved in dismantling structures of damaged buildings after enemy shelling in Zaporizhzhia.

Mykolaiv oblast

Russian troops dropped a 500-kilogram high-explosive aerial bomb on one of the settlements in the Mykolaiv district. According to the RMA, one  person was injured.

The day before, Shevchenkiv and Pervomaisk communities were shelled by the russian occupation army. During the day, russian troops shelled the villages of Liubomyrivka, Ternovi Pody, Tsentralne, and Vavylove of the Shevchenkove community. A fire broke out in the village of Zelenyi Hai as a result of artillery shelling. Two farm buildings were on fire. As a result of the shelling of the village of Novomykolaivka of the Pervomaisk community, farm buildings were partially destroyed. There were no casualties.

At night, the occupiers shelled the outskirts of the village of Kostiantynivka of the Pervomaisk community. Nobody was injured.

Bereznehuvate and Shyroke communities were shelled in the Bashtanka district. During the day, the enemy shelled the territories of the village of Bereznehuvate, the villages of Vysunsk, Kavkaz, Shyroke. They hit open areas and a previously destroyed residential building. There were no casualties.

The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down an air-launched missile fired by a russian Su-35 aircraft in the Bereznehuvate community.

In the sky over Mykolaiv Oblast, an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Force of the

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, specialists of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources have recorded more than 2K cases of destruction of living nature. This was announced by the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, Ruslan Strilets. A large number of wild animals and birds died on the Kinburn Spit. As a result of shelling in May, relict forests burned down there. It will take more than a hundred years to restore them.

Volunteers handed over special equipment purchased in European countries to the emergency services of Mykolaiv – a fuel tank truck, a generator, a car for pyrotechnicians and an ambulance for UAH 2 million in total. This was reported by volunteer Artem Vashchylenko.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Mykolaiv Regional Employment Service has employed about 3,500 people. This was reported by the city council. Emphasis is placed on filling vacancies of strategically important enterprises of the city. 

Iryna Shamrai, Head of the health care department of the city council says that in Mykolaiv, there are enough reserves of potassium iodide to protect the population in case of an emergency at the Zaporizhzhya NPP. Currently, primary health care centers have more than 70K pills, which will be distributed among the population if needed.

Volunteers continue to carry out evacuation from the settlements of southern Ukraine to Mykolaiv. 135 displaced persons live in one of the evacuation centers of the Red Cross. These are residents of Mykolayiv and Kherson oblasts, where hostilities are ongoing. The Red Cross Society reports that people are provided with medical assistance and everything they need.

Odesa oblast

In Odesa, on the occasion of the City Day, which is celebrated on September 2, a solemn raising of the flag of the city took place on Dumska Square. Representatives of local authorities extinguished the stamp with the image of the monument to Duke de Richelieu, lined with sandbags. On this occasion, a concert was held with participation of the Naval Forces of Ukraine.

The Odesa Regional State Administration reports that the European Union Advisory Mission resumed its work in Odesa. Experts will assist both in advancing reforms and collecting information about war crimes committed by russian troops on the territory of Ukraine since the full-scale military invasion. 

The press service of the South Operational Command said that near Odesa, a sea mine carried ashore by a storm detonated. It exploded when being prepared for a controlled explosion.

At the end of September, it is planned to equip the first mobile shelter in Odesa, which can host 18 people. It is planned to place such shelters in areas of the greatest congestion of people, for example, in parks and at public transport stops. The project was developed by representatives of the organization SafePalace4UA

The Turkish Ministry of Defense reports that on September 2, six more vessels with Ukrainian agricultural products left the ports of Odesa oblast through the “grain corridor”. 

It is noted that the shipment of grain in Ukrainian ports continues as planned.

The ship Lady Zehma, which left the port of Odesa oblast on August 30 and transported more than 3000 tonnes of corn from Ukraine, ran aground on the last day in the Bay of Bebek. Because of this, the movement of the Bosphorus Strait was stopped. The ship was towed to the anchorage in Istanbul, after which traffic through the strait was resumed.

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy has expanded the National List of Elements of intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine by 21 new elements. A third of them are related to Odesa oblast. The list, in particular, includes yushka (soup) – a dish from Odesa region.

 Kherson oblast

Towards the South Buh, russian troops are focused on the defense of previously occupied lines and positions. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the enemy fired at the positions of the Ukrainian troops and civil infrastructure from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery, and also carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Lozove, Sukhyi Stavok, Velyke Artakove, Khreshchenivka.

 According to the South Operational Command, the defense forces have destroyed the ferry crossing near Kozatske in Kherson oblast.

The russian Su-25 aircraft, which carried out strikes in the area of ​​Sukhyi Stavok in Kherson region, has been disabled. The Operational Command South confirmed the neutralization of the “stormtrooper” during the air raid.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a concentration of russian equipment in Oleshky and Kakhovka districts, in the area of ​​the Antonivskyi railway bridge and Chornobaiivka. In Kherson, the base of the enemy’s army located in the “police school” was also struck.

The defense forces stopped the russian troops during offensive operations in the direction of Potiomkyne.

Cooperation in release of civilians from captivity in Kherson oblast was discussed by Head of the Kherson RMA, Yaroslav Yanushevych, and the Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets. 304 residents of Kherson Oblast are known to have been abducted, 179 people are still in captivity. 25 of 75 abducted representatives of local self-government are currently in captivity.

In Kherson oblast, 12 residents of the occupied settlement evacuated on foot to safer places, where they were met by Beryslav policemen. The refugees were taken to a temporary shelter. This was reported by the regional police.

Western regions

Volyn oblast

The project of combating cybercrimes committed by russia against Ukraine was presented at a seminar-meeting in the Volyn RMA. Representatives of the structural subdivisions of the RMA and territorial communities learned to face challenges in cyber security.

The RMA reported that there is a reserve of potassium iodide in Volyn. It arrived in the oblast in the form of humanitarian aid back in May. There are 13K blisters of drugs.

Mayor of Lutsk Ihor Polishchuk published a certificate according to which UAH 206 890 was donated from his salary from April to August for the needs of the Armed Forces.

In Liubomla, students sell baked goods to raise money for Ukrainian defenders. With the money earned, they bought the second car for the military. The SUV underwent a test drive and went to Kharkiv oblast.

Zakarpattia oblast

September 2 in Zakarpattia is a day of mourning for the soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade who died in battles with the invaders.

In Hungary, the Office for the Control of Regulated Activities (SZTFH) collected about HUF 110 million thanks to the aid program Bridge to Zakarpattia, created to support refugees from Ukraine.

In Uzhgorod, the center of humanitarian aid Owl’s Nest provides humanitarian assistance to displaced persons – items for babies, food kits, stationery kits, etc.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

A regional coordination headquarters for temporarily displaced persons operates in Prykarpattia. The headquarters coordinators help IDPs to find basic necessities, housing and work.

For civil servants, the RMA conducts training on providing emergency first aid.

With the support of international benefactors, a residential complex for displaced people will be built in the oblast.

Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Ruslan Savchuk reported that medics of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade were given tactical backpacks purchased in Germany. The cost of one full kit is about 1K euros.

Lviv oblast

Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko, Minister of Health of Poland Adam Niedzielski and Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine Yulia Laputina visited Lviv oblast on a working visit.

St. Luke’s Hospital in Lviv received a modern magnetic resonance imaging machine of expert class from the government of the Republic of Poland. The device allows for research a full range of diagnostic studies in the shortest possible time.

In August, younger actors of the theater studio of the School of Free and Indifferent Arts went on a tour of five cities in the US with the play Mom on Skype. During the tour, it was possible to collect over a UAH 1 million ($25 350). The money will go to the Aviatsia Halychyna fund for the Buy me a Combat Plane initiative.

Rivne oblast

Head of the Rivne regional government Vitalii Koval announced that 38 enterprises moved to Rivne oblast. These are mainly businesses from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Donetsk and Mykolaiv oblast.

In Varasha on September 1,  the murdered Ukrainian students were commemorated. 379 chairs with toys and school supplies were placed in the city center. From above,  the same number of self-made angels were symbolically attached.

Five sappers of the State Emergency Service of Rivne oblast went on another rotation to clear the territory of Kyiv oblast from russian munition items.

The Rokytniv community bought a car for our defenders. UAH 120K was collected for the car during the charity fair.

Chief Doctor of the regional hospital in Rivne Viktor Tkach reported that in the storage of the institution, a gallery of muralist Kostiantyn Kachanovsky was opened.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA reported that employers of Ternopil Oblast received UAH 2.7 million in compensation for employing displaced people .

In Ternopil, children will study six days a week. According to Mayor Serhii Nadal, there are two reasons for this – seasonal diseases and war, due to which the education process may be stopped.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The RMA reported that the 7th Petro Franko Tactical Aviation Brigade received the Honorable Mention For Courage and Courage from the President of Ukraine, and special “smart” watches Garmin Aviator from benefactors.

Chernivtsi oblast

Head of the Chernivtsi RMA Ruslan Zaparanyuk signed a memorandum of cooperation with Head of the regional organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine Myroslava Ostrovetska.

International support

The US Army signed a $182.3 million contract with Raytheon Missiles & Defense for the production of advanced NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems for Ukraine.

The Government of Finland has allocated €35 ​​million to Ukraine for humanitarian aid, temporary housing and public administration support.

Sweden will increase aid within the framework of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, in particular in reconstruction of destroyed infrastructure, and will also help with waste processing.

Finland will provide Ukraine with more defense equipment as part of the eighth military aid package.

Denmark will provide the Armed Forces with military uniforms and winter clothing. This became known after the meeting between President Zelenskyy and Head of the Danish Foreign Ministry Jeppe Kofoda, who is visiting Kyiv.

The EU mobilizes 5 million euros to preserve the cultural heritage of Ukraine.
