It has been the 190th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion. 

Ukraine briefly:

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy is trying to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk oblast and hold the occupied areas of Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts. The enemy continues to launch air and missile strikes on military and civilian targets on the territory of our state.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed significantly. Units of the Armed Forces of the republic of belarus are enhancing protection of a section of the belarusian-Ukrainian border in Brest and Gomel Oblasts. There is a continuous threat of the enemy launching missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of the republic of belarus.

Towards Siversk, the enemy holds separate units of the Armed Forces of the russian federation in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts. The enemy fired mortars and barreled artillery at the settlements of Kamianska Sloboda, Senkivka, Zaliznyi Most, Chernihiv Oblast, and Starykove, Sumy Oblast.

Towards Sloboda region, the enemy continues to conduct hostilities to hold previously occupied areas. 

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy fired from tanks, barreled and rocket artillery, in the settlements of Cherkaski Tyshky, Pryshyb, Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Sosnivka, Staryi Saltiv, Udy, and Velyki Prokhody.

Towards Sloviansk, enemy units fired from barrel artillery and multiple launch rocket systems at the settlements of  Dibrovne, Dolyna, Hrushuvakha, Krasnopillia, Nova Dmytrivka, Velyka Komyshuvakha, and Virnopillia.

The occupiers’ aircraft struck at the areas of Nova Dmytrivka and Bohorodychne. They attempted an offensive towards the village of Dolyna, had no success and withdrew.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy fired from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery at the areas of Ivano-Dariivka, Piskunivka, Raihorodok, Rozdolivka, Siversk, Spirne and Verkhniokamianske. 

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy fired from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery near the settlements of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Krasnopolivka, Maiorsk, Soledar, Vesele, Vyimka, Vesela Dolyna, Yakovlivka, Zvanivka.

By conducting offensive actions, the enemy tried to advance towards the settlements of Bakhmutske, Soledar, Vesela Dolyna, and Zaitseve. The invaders had no success and withdrew. 

Towards Avdiivka, the enemy fired from tanks, mortars and barrel artillery near the settlements of Avdiivka, Karlivka, Oleksandropil, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Pisky, Rozivka, Tonenke, Vodiane.

Russian terrorist forces launched an airstrike on the settlements of Vremivka, Neskuchne and Oleksandropil. By conducting assault actions, they tried to gain a foothold towards the settlements of Nevelske, Opytne, Pervomaiske. They had no success, suffered losses, and retreated.

Towards Novopavlivka, the russian federation shelled Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka, and Velyka Novosilka. There was an airstrike in the area of Marinka.

By conducting offensive actions, the enemy tried to gain a foothold near the settlement of Vodiane, yet failed and withdrew.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the enemy shelled the settlements of Huliaipole, Luhivske, Novopil, Olhivske.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy tried to hit key facilities in Andriivka, Liubomyrivka, Lozove, Luparevo, Novohryhorivka, Novopetrivka, Oleksandrivka, Olhyne, Pervomaiske, Potiomkino, Partyzanske, Shyroke, Shevchenkove, Stepova Dolyna, Tavriiske with tanks, mortars and barreled artillery.

The enemy’s ships in the Black and Azov Seas continue conducting reconnaissance, supporting the actions of the ground group and blocking civilian shipping.

There remains a threat of missile strikes on facilities and infrastructure units in the depths of Ukraine.

Despite reports of intense shelling, the IAEA mission visited the Zaporizhzhia NPP temporarily occupied by russian terrorists. IAEA Head, Rafael Grossi, said that the mission had managed to collect enough important information in a few hours of operation at the nuclear power plant. The IAEA representatives will remain at the ZNPP until September 3. On the eve of the mission’s arrival, the occupiers again shelled the site of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Emergency protection fired and the 5th power unit was turned off.

Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksii Hromov says that the Ukrainian military is ready for any development of events during the command and staff exercises in belarus. The russian military and CSTO member countries will also participate in the exercises from September 8 to 14.

The estimated environmental damage from the full-scale russian invasion is over UAH 962 billion. This was reported by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine. 20% of protected areas are affected by the war. Damage to soils and lands exceeds UAH 138 billion, to the plant world and forests – UAH 183 billion, from emissions of pollutants into the air – UAH 823 billion. Currently, 8 reserves and 12 national nature parks are under occupation.


Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops shelled Ukrainian armed forces’ positions and the region’s civilian infrastructure – at least nine settlements – with artillery, military vehicles and tanks. The invaders also continued air reconnaissance in Kharkiv oblast. Russian aviation struck near Nova Dmytrivka.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, claimed that this night, the Kharkiv Defence Headquarters reported about five missiles from russia’s Belgorod. Some “self-destructed” not on Ukrainian territory. There were no casualties.

Based on the information provided by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Military and Defense, the invaders launched rockets at the territory of a state-owned enterprise of strategic importance in Kharkiv oblast. Several premises were damaged as a result of the shelling. One person was injured.

The invaders shelled Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kharkiv districts.

In Izium, private households were damaged due to heavy shelling. According to the regional Emergency Medical Centre, in Balakliia, 4 civilians were injured, including a 13-year-old boy. A 50-year-old man was killed.

In Bohodukhiv district one of the buildings of an agricultural enterprise was damaged by shelling.

Referring to the Regional Emergency Service, russians attacked Pechenihy again. Three fires occurred as a result of shelling. An 85-year-old woman was rescued while extinguishing a fire in an apartment building. A 30-year-old man was hospitalized with injuries. Private households, a lyceum and an outpatient clinic building were damaged.

The Ministry of Culture launched the project “Save Ukrainian culture” – singer Sviatoslav Vakarchuk has donated 350K hryvnias to restore the Skovoroda museum in Kharkiv oblast.

For security reasons, the educational process in Kharkiv oblast will be held remotely.

Donetsk oblast

According to the Regional Police, russian troops shelled 13 settlements in Donetsk oblast with artillery, Grad and Uragan rocket systems.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, informed that russians killed five civilians in Bakhmut, Heorhiivka, Pivnichne, Rozdolne and Sloviansk. 12 people were injured.

Head of Kurakhove City Military Administration, Roman Padun, said that russian troops shelled Kurakhove at night. There were no casualties.

Coal mines in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk oblast were de-energized as a result of shelling.

Mariupol Mayor’s Councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that despite promises to Mariupol residents to open schools by September 1, the invaders did not do so. Only students of the 1st and 11th grades came for a class hour. He added that the occupation authorities were not providing humanitarian aid, which is why there were long lines to get food from the International Committee of the Red Cross.

298 educational institutions in Donetsk oblast started the academic year in the online format. 106K students were at their virtual desks.

As of today, curfew in Donetsk oblast begins at 9 pm and ends at 05 am the next day.

Luhansk oblast

 Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that Luhansk oblast is getting back to distance learning. A total of 130 educational institutions are scheduled to start the school year with 1 344 classes and 28 149 students. Those remaining in the occupied territories and wishing to get general secondary education according to the Ukrainian curriculum will join the online process of other educational institutions in the region.

According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the online education process was introduced in schools in 20 out of 26 communities. In the occupied territories, russians are destroying all school literature and textbooks related to Ukraine.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

The body of another man killed by russians was found at the former positions of the russian army in the village of Zdvyzhivka. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv oblast police Andriy Nebytov. The murdered man was about 40-50 years of age, traces of torture were found on his neck and body. 1 366 bodies of civilians, killed by russian terrorist troops, have already been found in Kyiv oblast.

The educational institutions of the oblast will have mixed education forms both online and in person. According to Dmytro Kuleba, head of the Kyiv RMA, 88 schools will work offline, 401 – in mixed form, and 79 – remotely. He noted that dozens of educational institutions in the oblast damaged by the russian army during the hostilities will resume their work.

Kyiv City State Administration informs that 138K pupils have chosen in person learning, the rest will study online or by individual form. There were no traditional celebrations on the first day of school. From now on, every school day will start with air raid safety instructions.

A business forum for small and medium businesses was held in Bila Tserkva. The participants learned about business financing opportunities, the impact of the war on the state of business in the community and how to restore the local economy. The event was organized by the Regional Development Agency of Kyiv region in cooperation with the Bila Tserkva Strategic Development Agency.

On the Knowledge Day the rescuers, medical workers and National Police officers conducted safety classes in one of the educational institutions of Vyshhorod. The event was held within the framework of the all-Ukrainian Unified Safety Lesson campaign. Children from Holosiivskyi Lyceum #241 in Kyiv learned about safety at the Uniform Safety Lesson. There were interesting quizzes and contests.

Zhytomyr oblast

Malyn Lyceum No. 2 welcomed students for the new school year. According to Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, this lyceum was rebuilt after a bomb attack launched by the russian army on 6 March. As a result of the attack, school rooms, windows, the ceiling, and the primary school building were damaged.

A shelter with ventilation and two separate exits has been arranged for students at Lyceum No.1. The Lyceum building was partially damaged by missile attacks by the russian army. Despite the war, almost 70% of the children, who had left the country, returned.

In total, almost 102 000 students in the oblast will be attending schools and 36 000 will study remotely. More than a thousand children evacuated from Zaporizhzhia, Mykolayiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kyiv oblast will study in Zhytomyr oblast.

According to the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, to celebrate the 85th anniversary of Zhytomyr oblast, Ukrposhta will release a special anniversary stamp. In August, the competitions were conducted at local communities to identify the best image designs, and voting for the best one is now in progress.

Sumy oblast

The enemy attacked the communities of Krasnopillia, Shalygine and Bilopillia. As reported in the SBGS, the russian army fired mortars (almost 40 explosions were recorded) and small arms.

Most first graders in the Sumy community started their schooling online. According to the special commission, the shelters were recognized suitable for use in only eight of all inspected schools.

The city education department reported that since February 24, 163 internally displaced students have started studying in Sumy community schools. 29 643 students study in 40 community schools, about 20% of them are currently abroad. 67 out of more than 2 000 teaching staff are outside the country.

A concert of the Sumy Studio Theater of Andriy Pisnyi was held in Sumy. The funds received from the sale of entrance tickets will be transferred to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the release of Ukrainian patriotic songs, which will be available for free download on the network.

Sumy artist Anna Chernenko presented a new series of illustrations “Angels in paintings”. Almost all paintings were made during the wartime period. According to the artist, they combine horror and terrible experiences with joy and pride for Ukraine, as well as hope that everything will be fine. The paintings can be viewed in the art department of the library named after T. Shevchenko.

Teenagers donated UAH 4 000 to the Sumy Public Fund to support the Ukrainian military. Money was collected by treating passers-by with coffee and goodies on the streets of the city. Young volunteers also placed QR codes of verified funds so that people could transfer money directly.

Chernihiv oblast

The SBGS reported that Novgorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Horodnyanka communities came under enemy fire. The enemy struck using barrel artillery and mortars. A fire broke out in a private residential building and livestock died due to the shelling of the territory of Novgorod-Siverskyi community.

The Commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Naev, checked the combat readiness and coordination of actions in repelling a possible invasion in the Northern Operational Area in Chernihiv oblast. During his stay in the positions, he presented awards for courage and combat merits to servicemen defending the state from the beginning of the russian invasion.

The intelligence agencies provide timely information about the enemy’s intentions, and the military command takes promptly measures to respond to threats, said Serhii Nayev, commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, defense systems are constantly being improved in units performing tasks in areas close to the state border with russia.

The court sentenced the tank commander of the russian Armed Forces to 8.5 years in prison for violating the laws and customs of war. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General. In early March, the invader attacked a resident of the village of Khalyavin and robbed him, threatening to shoot him with a machine gun. Later, the russian soldier was captured by the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Only 56 schools of the oblast (14%) can welcome students in person, 246 institutions will teach students remotely. 100 will work in a mixed format. According to the information of local authorities, as of September 1, there are 402 institutions of general secondary education in the oblast, in which 94 204 students will study.

In Chernihiv oblast, doctors are continuing their visits to the residents of settlements affected by the russian aggression. As reported in Chernihiv RMA, recently a team of doctors worked in Novoselivka. More than 100 citizens came to see the doctors.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The russian army does not stop shelling the communities of Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts have been attacked several times during the day.

Nikopol was attacked four times. Myrivska TC came under fire at night. Early in the morning, the enemy shelled the communities of Nikopol, Marganets and Chervonohryhorivka. There was a fire in the residential building in Chervonohryhorivska TC. One man was hospitalized in serious condition. More than two dozen buildings were damaged in the community, 12 private ones among them. They also hit the power grid. In Marganetska TC, there is power outage in the homes of several thousand people due to shelling.

The occupiers shelled Velyka Kostromka of Kryvyi Rih district.  Based on the information provided by the head of Dnipropetrovsk regional council Mykola Lukashuk, people were not affected.

Vinnytsia oblast

In Vinnytsia, a 51-year-old supporter of russian armed aggression against Ukraine was sentenced to 5 years in prison. In the banned social network, through his posts, he openly called for an aggressive war of the rf against Ukraine.

Kirovohrad oblast

In less than a week, children from Dmytrivska and Znamyanska communities of Kropyvnytskyi district collected UAH 22 408 at self-equipped checkpoints. The head of the Dmytrivsk community Nataliia Styrkul reported that the money was transferred to purchase a vehicle for the Ukrainian military. 17 children from Dmytrivka and seven from Znamyanka were collecting money at three checkpoints.

Poltava oblast

Poltava oblast received a sufficient supply of potassium iodide for population from the Ministry of Health. Dmytro Lunin, head of Poltava RMA, reported that the medicine will be kept in hospitals and issued in case of a radiation incident.

Cherkasy oblast

Modern drones were handed over to the reconnaissance platoon of the “Aidar” battalion. Ihor Taburets, the head of the Cherkasy RMA, announced this on his page. These devices will help the defenders see better and target the invaders.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Despite reports of intense shelling, the IAEA mission visited the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP. The head of the IAEA, Raphael Grossi, said that the mission managed to collect enough important information during a few hours of work at the NPP. According to him, the mission will stay at the Zaporizhzhia NPP until September 3, and later will decide on the permanent presence of its observers at the station.

In the morning, 5th power unit at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant was shut down due to mortar shelling by russian troops on the territory of Enerhodar.

In the morning, mortar shelling of Enerhodar continued. According to preliminary information, there are wounded. The russians also involved aviation. Civilian infrastructure facilities were hit.

According to Ukrainian Intelligence, the evacuation of Rosatom employees to Melitopol from ZNPP is being prepared. The evacuees are planned to be accompanied by units of “Rosgvardiya”, which set off in a convoy from Melitopol to Enerhodar.

Zaporizhzhia worked out an action algorithm in the event of an incident at the ZNPP. Rescue workers, police officers, doctors and employees of the regional laboratory center joined the training.

The situation towards Zaporizhzhia has not significantly changed over the past day. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied borders.

The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of Novoandriivka, Olhivske, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Nesterianka, Burlatske, Shevchenko, Chervone, Preobrzhensk, Novoivanivka, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Kamianske.

The police received 17 reports about destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by the russian forces.

Civilians have been injured as a result of yesterday’s armed attack. They were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds of varying degrees of severity.

Regional institutions, accepting internally displaced people, received international support. As part of the “Ukrainian Rapid Response Fund” program, implemented by the IREX international organization with the support of the US State Department, power banks, kitchen utensils, first aid kits, sleeping bags, etc. were delivered to the Zaporizhzhia shelters to arrange IDPs’ residences.

The occupiers brought 500 teachers from the russian federation to Melitopol to organize the educational process according to the russian curriculum. According to Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov, 90% of Ukrainian educators refused to cooperate with the enemy.

The evacuation of the civilian population from the temporarily occupied territory was carried out. 1 682 people, including 470 children, were evacuated.

Mykolaiv oblast

The enemy carried out two missile strikes on the Bereznehuvate community, using two Kh-31 air-launched missiles and one Kh-59. No significant damage or casualties.

The enemy launched an airstrike on the Bereznehuvate community with a pair of Ka-52 helicopters. Without human losses.

The Pervomaisk, Shevchenkove, Kutsurub and Shyroke communities were constantly shelled by the enemy.

The village of Chervona Dolyna of the Syroke community was under enemy fire. Information about damage and victims is being clarified.

Volunteers of the “Rotary Club of Mykolaiv” handed over two cars and a diesel generator to emergency workers of Mykolaiv oblast. One of the regional hospitals received an ambulance.

The couple from Mykolaiv will be tried on suspicion of treason and spreading information about location of the Armed Forces. The pre-trial investigation was completed as of September 1. The further fate of the suspects will be decided by the court.

Two ex-employees of the police department No. 2 of the Bashtanka district of the National Police are suspected of collaborationism. The Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office sent an indictment to the court.

Odesa oblast

The South Operational Command informed that enemy attacked Odesa oblast with two Onyx-type missiles launched from the Bastion coastal missile complex from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. One missile was destroyed by anti-aircraft defense forces, the second hit an open area. There were no damages or injuries.

 

Almost one and a half million tons of Ukrainian grain were shipped from the ports of Odesa oblast during the month of operation of the grain agreement. During this time, more than 50 ships left Ukraine for the ports of destination. When the agreement was signed, there were 20 million tons of last year’s harvest in the ports of Odesa oblast.

Five dead dolphins were found on the territory of the National Nature Park “Tuzlivski Lymany” in Odesa oblast: two white-sided dolphins and three bottlenose dolphins. The animals are deemed to have died in July when the russian military increased its presence in the Black Sea. As a result of the use of sonar devices (sonars), powerful sounds are created, which negatively affect animals.

Kherson oblast

Positional battles continue in the southern operational zone. Ukrainian defenders carry out fire damage to facilities that do not give the enemy the opportunity to replenish the stock of ammunition in a timely manner,  increase grouping of troops, and carry out continuous management of military units.

The Southern Defense Forces hit russian military bases in the area of Chornobayivka, Nova Kakhovka, and Shiroka Balka in Kherson oblast. Losses among the russian military reached 65 persons. The enemy’s ammunition depot in Nova Kakhovka was destroyed.

The pontoon crossing established by the occupiers in the Dariivka area was destroyed.

Ukrainian aviation launched 24 strikes on the enemy’s buildups, its forces and means, command and support posts, logistics centers, transport routes and combat positions.

Tthe enemy lost 201 soldiers, 12 T-72 tanks and 18 units of armored vehicles, Sontsepyok multiple rocket launcher, Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile complex, 5 Msta-B howitzers, the Akatsia self-propelled howitzer, 2 self-propelled artillery installations, 3 mobile mortars.

6 enemy ammunition depots in Berislavsk, Henichesk and Kherson districts, as well as command posts of the 331st Paratrooper and 56th Paratrooper Regiments were liquidated.

The police opened 39 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes committed by the russian army in Kherson oblast.

The occupying forces targeted civilian facilities, peaceful villages of the Beryslav district came under enemy fire. There were seriously wounded civilians. Rocket strikes destroyed private houses.

The enemy shelled the village of Novopavlivka with unguided rockets. Houses were damaged, and the local church was destroyed.

The kidnapping of six people was recorded in Kherson, Nova Kakhovka and the village of Vynohradne. Their whereabouts are currently unknown.

The occupation authorities are forming lists of “independent observers” to hold a pseudo-referendum. The Center of National Resistance reported about it.

Western regions

Volyn oblast

The city council reported that new rules for observing silence were approved in Lutsk. From 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., loud singing and shouting, use of sound reproduction equipment, launching of fireworks, etc. are prohibited. 

The 100th separate brigade of Territorial Defense of Volyn received a vehicle sent to the military thanks to the CF Kindness.

In Lutsk, volunteers of the Siobhans trust foundation (the GB) distributed about 2K pizzas to the displaced people.

Thanks to the Volyn Charitable Foundation Kindness, Volyn rescuers received a Hyundai all-terrain vehicle.

The school teacher Mykola Kurylyuk said that the staff of the Knyagininiv Music School gives street concerts in Lutsk to raise money for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. UAH 70K were collected during the entire period of martial law.

In Volyn, the holiday of the first bell was held online. The first lesson for all students was the lesson “We are Ukrainians: honor and glory are indomitable!”

Zakarpattia oblast

As part of the agreements on cooperation between the leadership of the Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration and Hungary, from September 1 to 10, 28 children of military personnel will spend the vacation in a camp on Lake Balaton. All expenses related to the children’s stay abroad were borne by the Hungarian side. Excursions and interesting leisure activities are organized for children.

Head of the RMA Viktor Mykyta announced that on September 2, Zakarpattia will commemorate the Heroes of the 128th Brigade, who died in battles with the russian aggressor.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Internally displaced persons living in the Solotvyn community received humanitarian aid from the Regional Military Administration such as hygiene products, food and bed linen.

The city council reported that the Nadvirnya community received humanitarian aid from the city of Krnov in the Czech Republic.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the 68th hunting brigade the honorary title named after Oleksa Dovbush. This is stated in the decree of the President of Ukraine.

Lviv oblast

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the russian federation has carried out 18 missile attacks on Lviv oblast. 86 facilities were damaged, 30 – have been restored using the funds from local budgets and private enterprises.

During the full-scale war, 6.5K soldiers and their relatives received help in the Lviv center. In total, over 80K services were provided to veterans during the entire period of work here.

205 enterprises have relocated to Lviv oblast. They created almost 5K work places.

Lviv Oblast is 85% ready for the autumn-winter period. Out of 1 682 boiler houses, 1 396 are ready for operation. Out of all boiler houses, 495 operate on alternative types of fuel – firewood, briquettes, coal, electricity, pallets.

A meeting with the Minister of Veteran Affairs of Ukraine Yulia Laputina, took place at the RMA.

The first resuscitation bus in Ukraine evacuated 24 patients injured as a result of russian aggression from Lviv medical facilities abroad. Most of them with mine-explosive injuries. The youngest patient is 14 years old, the oldest is 61 years old. The resuscitation vehicle is a special vehicle that allows transporting seriously affected patients over long distances, supporting resuscitation measures for two days when transporting up to 2K km.

As part of the 1K cars of freedom initiative, thanks to Estonian volunteers from the charitable organization United Delivery Mission from the Sambir region, 3 cars for the military were sent to the war zone. All vehicles are equipped with full fuel tanks, camouflage nets for cars and diesel canisters. Fighters will receive 2 drones, 15 tactical backpacks and the necessary spare parts for cars.

At a charity concert in Lyubyn, located in the Yavoriv district, UAH 35K was collected to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the US, the Lviv National Philharmonic named after Myroslav Skoryk, in cooperation with the Kozytskyi Charitable Foundation, presented a large-scale artistic event See & hear Ukraine within the framework of the We & World project. The WE & WORLD project was founded to support Ukrainian artists, popularize Ukrainian art, and support Ukrainians who suffered as a result of the war.

Rivne oblast

In Rivne, there was a report about the airport mining. The explosive devices of the national police, rescuers and SBU checked the facility. No explosive devices were found.

The Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyryll Tymoshenko together with Head of the Rivne RMA Vitaly Koval visited the RANP and held a meeting with the plant’s management regarding safety and the action plan in case of emergency situations.

A dashboard for volunteers, communities and regional authorities will be launched in Rivne oblast. This will be a platform for their operational communication with a list of communities ready to accommodate displaced people. Volunteers will report how they can help.

The Department of Civil Protection and Health Protection of Rivne oblast reported that the ride-sharing company Uber provided hospitals in Rivne oblast with special promotional codes for free trips for doctors.

Humanitarian aid was delivered by car to Rivne for the children of displaced persons. Baby food, clothes, toys and diapers for the children of forced migrants who currently live in Rivne were collected in the Netherlands. 2 pickup trucks used to deliver the cargo are on their way from England to Ukrainian soldiers.

Yuliya Sheimel from Rivne oblast is collecting funds for the Armed Forces of the US in the American city of Omaha (Nebraska). On Independence Day she collected over 2K dollars, which have already been transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces.

Ternopil oblast

Generators, gas stoves, canned goods, memory cards, etc. were given to Ternopil defenders from the Territorial Defense, who are now on the front lines.

BraveTe Business Forum was held at Diya.Biznes Entrepreneur Support Center in Ternopil, attended by business representatives from the western and central oblasts of Ukraine. During the forum, business owners discussed the challenges business faces in the conditions of war.

A Mine Safety Room was opened in Ternopil. It contains hundreds of exhibits of explosively dangerous items defused by Ukrainian pyrotechnicians in the territories liberated from the occupiers.

The Chortkiv city council reported that children and their parents organized a fair in the Chortkiv kindergarten. Over UAH 5K collected were transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The State Lyceum boarding school with enhanced military and physical training Cadet Corps of the State Border Service of Ukraine evacuated from Sumy and the National University of Internal Affairs evacuated from Kharkiv started the academic year.

Yarmolynets high school students organized a charity fair on the Day of Knowledge. The collected over UAH 6K will be used by children to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Chernivtsi oblast

Mayor of Chernivtsi Roman Klychuk and Mayor of Dusseldorf Dr. Stephan Keller, signed a twinning agreement. Chernivtsi and Dusseldorf are now twin cities.

The director of the health care department of the Chernivtsi RMA Oleg Chornyi announced that 14 modern portable ultrasound devices were handed over to healthcare facilities in Bukovyna. Each hospital will receive the equipment. The devices were purchased using the funds of the Ministry of Health and with the assistance of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

The Sokyrian City Council reported that about 8 tons of humanitarian cargo was sent from the city of Sokyryany to one of the military units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

International support

The Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Gromov reported that Ukrainian servicemen were trained in 14 partner countries to perform tasks using foreign models of weapons and military equipment.

The European Union suspended the agreement with russia on simplified issuance of Schengen visas to russians. The EU will not recognize passports issued by the russian authorities in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense of Finland officially announced the new 8th package of military aid for Ukraine.

In the seventh package of Swedish military aid to Ukrainians, 500 million kroner or over $46 million is allocated to artillery ammunition. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Linde reported that the same amount is intended for humanitarian aid.

The coordinator of the US National Security Council for strategic communications John Kirby said that the US will soon announce new military aid for Ukraine – over $3 billion.

Head of the Foreign Ministry of Latvia Edgar Rynkevich announced that at the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the EU, an agreement was reached that the countries bordering the russian federation can impose a ban on the entry of russians with Schengen visas.

Ukraine handed over to the EU ratified documents for joining the “customs visa-free” system.

Finnish customs have confirmed that they are confiscating euros from russian tourists returning home in line with EU sanctions against russia.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held his first phone conversation with the new Prime Minister of Israel Yair Lapid.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Jeppe Kofod arrived on a visit to Kyiv.
