Ukraine briefly

It has been the 222nd day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion.

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy is trying to hold the temporarily seized territories, focusing its efforts on disrupting the advance of the Defense Forces in certain areas. The invaders are shelling the positions of our troops along the contact line, conducting aerial reconnaissance. They strike at the civilian infrastructure and homes, violating the norms of the International Humanitarian Law, laws and customs of warfare. There is a constant threat of air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine.

During the day, the occupiers launched 2 missiles and 7 air strikes, and carried out more than 35 MLRS attacks.

More than 20 settlements suffered from enemy strikes, including Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Bakhmut, Spirne, Mariinka, Soledar, Bilohorivka, Blahodativka and Zaliznychne.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation did not change significantly.

In other directions, the enemy fired from tanks and artillery systems of various types targeting the following Ukrainian settlements:

According to the updated information, the enemy losses over the previous days were confirmed. Thus, in the vicinity of Kyrylivka, Donetsk oblast, up to 20 units of military equipment were destroyed, up to 8 enemy combat helicopters were heavily damaged.

According to available information, to gain time for training and combat coordination of mobilized personnel, the russian military and political leadership made an interesting decision. The losses of units located directly on the contact line are replenished by representatives of the so-called “law enforcement agencies” operating in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk oblast. The administrative and police regime on the temporarily occupied territory will be provided by units of the Federal Security Service of the russian federation.

Over the past day, the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the enemy’s attacks near the settlements of Maiorsk, Niu York, Zaitseve, Nevelske and Pobeda.
