It has been the ninety-seventh day of Ukrainians’ resistance against the russian military invasion.

The hottest battles are in the east, in particular in Severodonetsk – the russians have already moved deeper into the city. 

The russian army carried out an airstrike on Severodonetsk: they hit a tank with nitric acid at a chemical plant, said the head of the RMA Haidai. He urged not to leave the shelters.

On the morning of May 31, it has come to our knowledge that in Luhansk oblast, the russian invaders plan to launch the mop-up operation round Severodonetsk. The situation in the oblast is very complicated, while part of Severodonetsk is temporarily controlled by the russians. At the same time, the occupiers cannot move freely through the city, since Ukrainian fighters still remain there.

On the night of May 31, Sumy oblast was again attacked from the territory of russia. The russians shelled Mykolaiv and Ochakov, as well as the Zelenodolsk community of Dnipropetrovsk oblast, Kharkiv and Zolochiv. There is fighting in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. 

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue a counteroffensive in Kherson and Kharkiv oblasts. The russians continue shelling Sumy, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv.

Russian invaders are preparing to resume the offensive towards Izium in Kharkiv oblast and Sloviansk, Siversk and Raihorodka in Donetsk oblast.

Ukraine briefly:

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has not changed. The main efforts of the Armed Forces of belarus are focused on the state border protection.

In belarus, tanks and IFVs have been removed from bases. Their further transfer to russia is not excluded.

Towards Siversk, to prevent the transfer of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine to other directions, the enemy keeps units of the russian Armed Forces in the border areas of Briansk and Kursk oblasts.

Besides, the russians carried out a missile air strike on the units of Ukrainian troops in Sumy oblast using Su-30SM aircraft.

Artillery and mortar shelling of border areas continues.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the russians are trying to keep the seized positions and prevent the advance of Ukrainian units.

The invaders are preparing to resume the offensive towards Izium and Sloviansk.

In Donetsk oblast, the enemy supported by artillery and mortar, conducts active assault actions towards Severodonetsk and Bakhmut. Fighting continues.

The enemy is trying to establish full control over Severodonetsk and surround the DFU units. Also, the invaders are preparing for an offensive towards Siversk and Raihorodka.

Towards Kurakhiv, the enemy fired on Ukrainian troops using artillery.

In other directions, the invaders continue shelling to hinder the actions of the Ukrainian troops and prevent their transfer to other directions.

In the South Buh direction, the enemy defends and mines the coast of the Ingulets River in the areas of possible actions of our troops. The invaders carried out airstrikes involving aircraft in the area of Davydiv Brod, Kherson oblast.

In the Black and Azov Seas, russian ships continue isolating areas of military actions. The russian frigate “Admiral Makarov”, which has up to 8 Kalibr cruise missiles on board, is on alert.

 The occupiers have announced “nationalization” (de facto theft) of 34 vessels remaining in the port of Mariupol.

In Mariupol, the occupiers began accepting documents for obtaining russian passports.

A court in Poltava oblast sentenced two russian soldiers, Alexander Bobykin and Alexander Ivanov, to 11 years and 6 months in prison for shelling civilian areas of Kharkiv oblast.

Ukraine will receive new batches of precision-guided missiles with a longer range than Ukrainians currently have, but not missiles capable of striking deeper into Russia,  said former U.S. Ambassador to russia Michael McFaul.

The number of russian ships with cruise missiles on board in the Black Sea has decreased to one. Several others retreated to the area of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

European Union leaders will consider Ukraine’s application for EU membership at their next summit scheduled for June. Applications from Moldova and Georgia will be considered as well.

More than 689 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression of the russian federation. Based on the official data, 243 children were killed, 446 wounded.

During the day, SES pyrotechnic units were involved 173 times. They found, extracted and disposed of 1222 explosive objects and examined the area of 852 hectares. Most often they operated in Kharkiv oblast – 4 755 times, Kyiv oblast – 2593, Chernihiv oblast – 1580 times, Mykolaiv oblast – 1344 times, Cherkasy oblast – 777 times, Sumy oblast – 573 times. A total of 125560 explosive objects have been defused since the beginning of the large-scale military invasion, including 1983 air bombs. The area of 26579 hectares was examined. 

On May 30, 71000 people and almost 17000 vehicles crossed Ukraine’s western borders with the EU and Moldova. Almost 39000 people have arrived in Ukraine over the past 24 hours, more than 35000 of them are Ukrainians. For three weeks, the number of citizens returning to Ukraine is greater than the number of those who go abroad. More than 148 trucks with humanitarian aid have been sent.

The Verkhovna Rada dismissed Liudmyla Denysova, the parliament’s commissioner for human rights.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine is going to organise an operation under the UN supervision and with the participation of partner fleets to create a safe maritime corridor for the Ukrainian grain.

Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová paid a visit to Ukraine, met President Vladimir Zelensky, and visited the destroyed Irpin and Borodianka.

On May 31, a joint press conference was held in the Hague by Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Karim Khan and Prosecutor General of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova who stressed that the judicial front was very important, because every day about 200-300 war crimes were committed in Ukraine.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law 7413 on amendments to the budget, which provided for an increase in expenditures of the general fund of the state budget by UAH 287.09 billion due to implementation of additional external borrowings. The document provides UAH 5.82 billion for the “e-Support” program, which will help those who applied on March 26-31 (904.77 thousand insured persons) receive payments, increase in expenses on national security and defense – by UAH 247.77 billion, replenishment of the reserve fund – UAH 1.5 billion, financial support for pensions, allowances and increases to pensions assigned under various pension programs, and a deficit of funds of the Pension Fund – by UAH 20.06 billion. There is also an increase in the cost of providing monthly targeted assistance to internally displaced persons to cover living expenses, including housing and communal services – UAH 12.54 billion. 1.8 million people will receive assistance for housing.

Since May, business has seen a record request for preferential lending under the state program “Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%”, showing the desire of entrepreneurs to resume their activities as soon as possible. Most often enterprises operating in the field of agriculture (51.8%), trade and production (22.6%), and industrial processing (14%) are credited. Among the regions, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv oblasts and Kyiv are leaders in the amount of concluded loan agreements. The program “Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%” allows you to attract up to UAH 60 million at 0% for the period of wartime +1 month with a guarantee from the government at the level of 80%.

The Verkhovna Rada passed a bill recognizing July 28th the Day of Ukrainian statehood.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

 The enemy fired on Osnovyansky and Kyiv districts of Kharkiv and Kharkiv, Izium, Chuhuiv and Bohodukhiv districts of the region. There are 3 victims: a woman in the village of Korotych, Kharkiv district, a man in the village of Udy, Bohodukhiv region and a woman in Chkalivske village, Chuhuiv region. In total, 14 civilians were injured in the region, 4 of them in Kharkiv, including a 16-year-old boy. In the village of Korotych, Kharkiv oblast, 5 civilians were injured, including a 13-year-old girl.

Today, shelling of settlements in the region continued. In Ivanivka, Iziumsky region, a 12 year-old child was killed, 1 civilian wounded. 1 woman was killed in Zolochiv.

Russians have been bombarding the village of Zolochiv in Kharkiv oblast with artillery for about 10 hours. According to the head of the community, the russians struck the village with howitzers. First explosions were heard on 8 am and they did not stop until 6 pm.

The enemy is preparing to resume the offensive towards Izium.

The enemy tried to counter-attack near the village. For a long time, he had no success and retreated. Our military holds positions and inflicts losses on the occupiers.

Soldiers of the KRAKEN special unit together with French volunteers handed over medical supplies to the Kharkiv Emergency Hospital. They also delivered modern equipment worth UAH 16 million to the Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital and the Chuhuiv Central District Hospital funded with the regional budget.

Soldiers of the 93rd Brigade shot down another russian Ka-52 helicopter in Kharkiv oblast.

Donetsk oblast 

On May 31, russians killed four civilians in Donetsk: 3 in Sloviansk and 1 in Raihorod. 7 civilians were injured. It is impossible to establish the exact toll of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, said the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko. The enemy is preparing to resume the offensive towards Izium.

Towards Bakhmut, there was the assault on Zolote, Kamyshevakha, Nyrkove, Berestove, Pokrovske and Dolomitne without any success. Towards Lyman, the enemy was preparing for an offensive, conducting reconnaissance in the area of​ Lyman. The enemy suffered losses and retreated.

At night, the russians launched a missile strike on Sloviansk, Donetsk oblast. According to Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, at least three people were killed and six injured. The school and seven other high-rise buildings were damaged. The toll of victims will be known after the rescue operation.

In the Volnovakha region of Donetsk oblast, the Ukrainian military captured a sniper of the russian army. During interrogations at the Security Service of Ukraine, he said that they were ordered to sign an agreement to kill civilians.

According to Mariupol city councillor Petro Andriuschenko, the russian occupiers started smuggling out children from Mariupol who lost their parents during the war or went missing. The occupiers deported 320 people, including 32 children, from Mariupol to the filtration camp in Bezymenny. The invaders deported 345 Mariupol residents to Taganrog, including 37 children.

Mariupol city councillor Petro Andriuschenko reported that 2.5 thousand tons of Ukrainian metal left the waters of the port of Mariupol. 

Luhansk oblast

There is an assault on Severodonetsk and Toshkivka.

As of the evening of May 31, street fighting continues in Severodonetsk. The Ukrainian military is holding the line. The russian military controls most of Severodonetsk, but the city remains under the Ukrainian flag. The regional center is approaching the level of destruction of Rubizhne and Popasna. The city’s critical infrastructure has been destroyed by almost 100%. 90% of the housing stock has been damaged, 60% of which is critical. It means it cannot be restored. Due to the shelling, it is impossible to bring humanitarian goods to Severodonetsk, as well as to evacuate people.

Haidai said russian aircraft fired on a chemical plant, nitric acid was released  in Severodonetsk.

Northern regions

Military drills with enlistment offices, including firing training on gunnery fields, are planned in Homel oblast of belarus, bordering with Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Zhytomyr oblasts of Ukraine, from June 22 to July 1. 

Kyiv oblast

Today, the president of Slovakia, Zuzana Čaputová, paid an official visit to Kyiv oblast. Our foreign partners were shocked by what they saw in Borodianka and Irpin. Currently, two investigation teams from Slovakia are working in Kyiv oblast as international experts documenting the war crimes committed by the russian troops in Bucha and Borodianka.

Demining works continue in Kyiv oblast. On May 30, the EOD specialists inspected and neutralized explosive devices in 30 settlements of Bucha, Brovary, Vyshgorod, Bila Tserkva, and Fastiv districts.

In the last 24 hours, the EOD specialists inspected 106.77 hectares of territory, including 0.06 hectares of water bodies. The teams checked 13.7 km of highways, 4.5 km of power lines, and disposed of 512 explosive objects.

For the sake of civilian security, the swimming season has not started yet. The bottom of water bodies near beaches and recreational areas are going to be inspected for possible explosive objects. Laboratory tests of the surface water and drinking water have also begun.

The road services of Kyiv oblast have already cleared 506 km of streets and roads. The teams also cleared Bucha, Irpin, Makarov, Borodianka, Vorzel, Horenka, Hostomel, and the village of Ozera once they were de-mined. All burned vehicles and equipment, as well as fallen trees, were removed. In addition, to ensure normal traffic flow, patch works are underway, and the road markings are being refreshed. The work never stops. Construction debris is being cleaned up, and 19 temporary crossings have been set up.

Ukrainian Railways is organizing an exhibition called “Saving the future” dedicated to the Day of Children’s Protection.

Zhytomyr oblast

Today the Head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration met embassy representatives of three countries at once: Spain, Estonia, and Latvia, which are going to join various programs of restoration and reconstruction of facilities throughout Zhytomyr oblast.

The decision was made for Zhytomyr to sign an agreement to establish partnerships with the Polish city of Gdynia and the Czech city of Pardubice. Therefore, Zhytomyr will have two twin cities.

Chernihiv oblast

The repair works have started on critical infrastructure facilities in Chernihiv. Three out of five large water pumping stations are completely destroyed due to the shelling by russian troops. The damage prevents water supply from reaching the upper floors of the buildings and affects the operation efficiency of the sewage system.

Repair works continue at the facilities of the public utility company “Chernihivvodokanal.”

The road service in Chernihiv oblast is restoring roads in priority traffic routes.

Sumy oblast

Once again, the night wasn’t quiet in Sumy oblast. Around midnight, the enemy launched two missiles from an aircraft on the territory of Esman community. Biłopillya community was shelled with artillery fire, and around 3 am, about 10 artillery strikes were launched targeting Velyka Pysarivka community. In all cases, there were no casualties, and the information on damage is being clarified, informed Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of Sumy Regional Military Administration.

In the morning, there were around 8 explosions coming from the territory of russia towards the Esman community. The ‘North’ operational command informs that there were no losses among the personnel or equipment.

The enemy launched an airstrike from Su-30 aircraft targeting the units of our armed forces in Sumy oblast. The border settlements are being shelled with artillery and mortars, reported the General Staff of the AFU.

In the evening, 16 explosions were reported on the territory of Ukraine (on the outskirts of Seredyna-Buda and Prohres settlements). According to the preliminary information, the enemy applied mortar fire. There were no losses among the military personnel or equipment. Information on civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure is being verified.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The occupiers continue shelling Zelenodolsk community in Kryvyi Rih district. Explosions were reported at night. Fortunately, there were no victims.

More than 70 people were evacuated from Donetsk oblast to Dnipro. Most of them are  internally displaced persons from Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka and Bakhmut.

In Dnipro, the aid is rendered to people boarding trains to move further to the west, or they are provided temporary refuge.

The city of Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk oblast, sheltered two industrial enterprises relocated from Luhansk oblast and one from Donetsk oblast. Enterprises are already deploying their capacities and recruiting additional staff. One of the plants managed to dismantle and relocate its equipment just in time, as its territory was bombed two days later.

In the village of Oleksandrivka, in a suburb of Dnipro, the parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, joined the Orthodox Church of Ukraine together with its Abbot Andriy Ponomarenko.

Poltava oblast

In Poltava, three land lots have been allocated for housing construction for the IDPs. The  height of the buildings will be four to six floors and there will be around 2K apartments. According to Dmytro Lunin, new housing will be provided to IDPs on a temporary basis until houses are rebuilt on their territories. After that, apartments will be provided, in particular, to the military and their families.

In Poltava oblast, 2 russian servicemen have been sentenced to 11.5 years in prison. They were tried for violating the laws and customs of war, namely for shelling the civilian and critical infrastructure in Kharkiv oblast from Grad systems. Both have pleaded guilty in court and do not intend to contest the sentence.

Vinnytsia oblast

The Head of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration said that Vinnytsia oblast is currently hosting 171,075 internally displaced persons, including 1,443 people with limited mobility and 51,598 children.

On 6 June, summer camps for children will start working on the basis of regional out-of-school educational institutions of Vinnytsia oblast.

Cherkasy oblast

Ukrzaliznytsia restores railway connection between the capital and Cherkasy. On 8 June, for the first time in two years, the Kyiv-Cherkasy regional train will start running.

Southern regions

Towards Southern Buh, the enemy did not engage in active military operations over the past 24 hours. The enemy fired at civilian targets near Oleksandrivka, Prybuzke, Posad-Pokrovske, Novohryhorivka, Osokorivka, Kniazivka and Trudoliubivka settlements.

Towards Bessarabia, on the territory of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, there are no significant changes in the activity and position of the operational group of russian troops.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the occupants continue to concentrate their main forces in the Orikhiv, Huliaypole and Velyka Novosilka Donetsk oblast. Moreover, the enemy is trying to reinforce its groups with weapons and replenish its losses with obsolete and renewed equipment. In particular, the establishment of an enemy tank unit near Melitopol has been recorded.

During the night, Ukrainian rocket and artillery units carried out firing tasks and caused loss to the enemy: 16 soldiers were eliminated, a self-propelled artillery unit, 4 armoured and 5 other vehicles were destroyed.  Also, a UAV control post, ammunition depot, and enemy fuel and lubricant supply composition were shattered.

The main efforts of the russian federation’s Black Sea Navy groups in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov are focused on maintaining a favourable operational regime and blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

Zaporizhzhia oblast

One of the Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance units towards Zaporizhzhia received light American drones equipped with 4 cameras capable of detecting the enemy both during the day and at night. The soldiers have already had relevant training and are successfully using the new “warbirds” on the front line.

Tonight, russian troops have been shelling residential areas of Komyshevakha for several hours. The housing stock was badly damaged. There were no casualties or wounded.

Orikhiv town continues to be shelled. As a result of yesterday’s shelling, private houses, a music school and a hospital were damaged. The situation in Huliaipole also remains complicated and tense. Most people have escaped with the number of evacuated reaching up to 80 per cent in some settlements.

In the temporarily occupied territories of the region, psychological and information pressure from the enemy continues. Besides, russian representatives are trying to completely capture all communication channels. Today, telephone communication with three districts was completely disabled.

As of 31 May, 26,941 subscribers in 87 settlements of Zaporizhzhia oblast are without electricity supply due to damage to power lines, poles and equipment.

Today 50 people managed to leave Orikhiv by bus and get to Zaporizhzhia. At the logistics hub, they received necessary aid – hot meals, hygiene products and a place to rest.

 

According to Petro Kotin, head of Enerhoatom National Nuclear Energy Generating Company, cutting off the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Energodar from the Ukrainian energy system to use its resources on the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk oblast and the temporarily annexed Crimea is technically impossible for the time being. About 500 russian invaders are currently at the site of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

Mykolaiv oblast

Russian troops in Mykolaiv oblast continue shelling settlements with Smerch and Uragan multiple rocket launchers. Overnight Ochakiv was attacked. The gas pipe of a gas distribution station and a local bakery were damaged. The fire was quickly localised, with no casualties or threat of gas leakage.

In Mykolaiv, residential buildings are again mutilated as the enemy shelled a residential area of the city in the middle of the night. Information on casualties is being verified. Voskresenska, Halytsynivka and Shevchenkove communities were shelled by enemy artillery. There are casualties. Information is being verified.

During the day, the enemy destroyed 20 civilian objects in the region, and a total of 131 non-military objects were damaged. There are casualties among the civilian population.

To avoid civilian casualties, Mykolaiv city commandant’s office recommends temporary, for a few days, leaving Korabelne, Ingulsk region, Kulbakyne region, and Polihon, Mykolaivske villages and Aircraft Repair Plant area.

Residents of communities of Pervomaisk Raion continue to beautify their territories during the war. Thus, in Kinetspil village, roads were graded. In Pidgorodna village, the grass was mowed and the roadsides and green areas were landscaped. In Pervomaisk town, roads were swept and rubbish was removed, and a multi-ton spontaneous landfill was removed.

Odesa oblast

Yesterday, an anti-aircraft missile unit in Odesa oblast shot down an X-22 cruise missile.

The number of russian ships with cruise missiles onboard in the Black Sea went down to one. Several others withdrew to the area of temporarily occupied Crimea. There is no information yet on the reasons for the reduced presence of the ships.

Kherson oblast

Fighting and shelling continue in Kherson oblast. There is no electricity, water and gas in many settlements. The region needs medical supplies and humanitarian aid.

The enemy has no success in moving forward and is fortifying its defensive lines, hiding equipment and units in populated areas, and shielding by civilians.

Kherson police officers brought humanitarian aid to the residents of Osokorivka village, which suffers from daily enemy shelling. Law enforcement officers gave food packages with cereals, bread, flour, sugar, oil and dairy products.

There is no mobile communication or internet connection in Kherson oblast for almost a day. The russian troops cut power to a fibre optic cable reception point and are now forcing the local population to switch to a russian operator.

Russia started to receive the previous year’s harvest from the military-occupied Kherson oblast. This was announced by the “deputy head of the military-civil administration” of Kherson oblast, Kyrylo Striemousov, who was quoted by russia’s RBC Group.

Western regions

In the Volyn and Polissia areas, the main efforts of the armed forces of the republic of belarus are focused on the state border protection, construction and reinforcement of the operating sites, reconnaissance training and military drills. The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of the Republic of Belarus still remains. 

 Volyn

Last night, Volyn welcomed 70 IDPs.

Volyn officials reported that the letters on fundraising for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, received by local entrepreneurs allegedly on behalf of the Volyn Regional State Administration, are an attempt at fraud.

A specialized medical vehicle and a bus with medicines, food, hygiene products, shovels and batteries were sent from Volyn oblast to Donetsk oblast.

Zakarpattia

Zakarpattia oblast became a leader among oblasts where business was moved. More than 45% of all companies in Ukraine that completed the relocation process came here.

During almost 100 days of war against the occupiers, 278 enterprises moved to the oblast. 218 of them are already operating. Mostly these are companies from Kyiv, Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts.

Most IT specialists moved to Zakarpattia, notably about 49%. Among others, 23.9% are manufacturing enterprises, 23.8% are services, including trade, and 3.2% are construction.

Ivano-Frankivsk

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast received 179 uninterruptible power supplies worth more than  25K euros. This assistance will ensure the uninterrupted power supply to equipment and computer systems of critical infrastructure.

Teachers and students of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University make medications for the military. Pharmacists have already launched production of five drugs used to treat sweating, ringworm, fungus and wound healing. There is a shortage of these drugs in pharmacies. At the fighters’ request, they plan to begin production of insect repellents and lip balms.

Lviv

There were no air alarms in Lviv oblast last night. 95 IDPs were resettled in the oblast. At all crossings of Lviv oblast, 15K people cross the border every day.

 The survey results show, conducted by the sociological group “Rating” in large cities of Lviv oblast among permanent residents and migrants, 90% of urban residents, both permanent and newcomers, feel hopeful about the situation in Ukraine. More than 90% of respondents in both categories fully support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and more than 75% support the actions of President Zelensky. 

Lviv schools, with the support of the United Nations Development Program and the European Union, will convene free courses on acquiring new professional skills for internally displaced Ukrainians. Students will be able to choose one of seven occupations: installer, baker, carpenter, cashier, tailor and seamstress. Upon completion of their studies, students will receive the certificates and will be able to find jobs. 

Rivne

Rivne oblast welcomed almost 650 migrants from psychoneurological boarding schools from oblasts where active hostilities are taking place. Today, the International Humanitarian Organization “MEDAIR” rendered aid to one of these institutions, notably to Urven Psychoneurological Boarding School. These are washing machines, microwaves, electric kettles, refrigerators and other household appliances.

Today hospitals of Rivne oblast received six ambulances. These cars were donated as humanitarian aid from foreign charity organizations. The ambulances were received by Rivne City Hospital, Kvasyliv Emergency Medical Center, Rivne Regional Anticancer Center. In addition, two cars will remain in the Rivne “emergency”, and another will go to the Armed Forces.

When the war broke out, employees of the Dovhovil School made the equipment for the military, including unloading vests, balaclavas and first aid kits. Work in between lessons. The finished products are handed over to the military free of charge at the request of volunteers, local authorities and the Territorial Defense Forces.

Ternopil

Today, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Ternopil Yaroslav Vizniak handed over another ambulance to the Ternopil Regional Clinical Hospital.

In Ternopil, the number of cars imported from abroad has increased since the law on zero customs clearance came into force. 4,700 vehicles have already been registered. As a result, the state budget received less than UAH 540 millions.

 Khmelnytskyi

Today, the Minister of the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland Adam Kwiatkowski, the Director General of the Foreign Service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Maciej Karasinski and the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Vinnytsia Damian Czercinski visited the Khmelnytskyi oblast. The Polish delegation brought computer equipment for the children of IDPs. Foreign delegation representatives assured those present that Poland would continue to support the Ukrainian people, provide humanitarian aid and help refugees staying on its territory until the Ukrainians win the russian-Ukrainian war.

Representatives of the “Union of Entrepreneurs of the TV and Film Industry” together with the “Nova Ukraine” Charitable Foundation donated an ambulance vehicle to the Khmelnytskyi Oblast War Veterans Hospital.

 Chernivtsi

The situation with fuel availability is gradually levelling off, reported the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration. Gas and diesel are sold at more gas stations now. The recommended price should start from UAH 52 to 58.

In Chernivtsi oblast, about 1,500 IDPs have applied to the employment center since the full-scale war started. More than 180 of them have already been employed. About 600 job openings are currently available at the employment center, most of them for service jobs. Employers are looking for seamstresses, locksmiths, drivers and machine operators. There are also job openings for doctors, bank employees and accountants.
