It has been the ninety-sixth day of Ukrainians’ resistance against the russian military invasion.

Ukrainian troops forced the enemy to withdraw from the settlement of Mykolaivka, Kherson oblast. This counteroffensive made russian troops take a defensive position and is likely to disrupt russia’s attempts to closely control the occupied territories in the southern direction.

Ukraine briefly:

Here is a brief overview of the current situation based on the reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:

In the South Buh direction, the enemy did not conduct active operations, yet shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Posad-Pokrovske, Osokorivka, Novovorontsovka, Blahodatne, Partyzanske and others.

In Sloboda region, the enemy continues preparing for the offensive, looks for possible ways of advancement, supply of weapons, military equipment, etc. from the rf territory.

To reduce the offensive potential of Ukrainian troops, the enemy keeps firing positions of the Defense Forces with barrel and rocket artillery.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy did not conduct any active actions. The main efforts are focused on restraining Ukrainian units’ actions. They also shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas Odnorobivka, Udy, Ruski Tyshky and Cherkaski Tyshky.

The russian military fired on a car that was heading to pick up 10 people from Luhansk oblast. As a result, a French journalist who was doing material about the evacuation was killed, according to the RMA head.

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy continues regrouping to resume the offensive towards Izium-Barvinkove and Izium-Sloviansk. Near Kurulka, they tried to conduct assault actions, failed and retreated to previously seized positions.

Towards Donetsk, besides artillery shelling, the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Novoselivka and Lysychansk, missile strikes in the areas of Soledar and Siversk.

In Donetsk oblast, as a result of fighting, the Togliatti-Odesa ammonia pipeline was damaged. The ammonia cloud moved towards Bakhmut, but there is no threat to the city.

Towards Lyman, the enemy regroups and prepares for the offensive. They tried to examine the routes of advancement through water obstacles.

Towards Severodonetsk, the enemy conducts assault operations in the areas of Severodonetsk, Toshkivka and Ustynivka, fighting continues. The russians are moving into the centre of Severodonetsk, fighting continues. The situation is very tense. The critical infrastructure of Severodonetsk has been destroyed. 60% of the housing stock cannot be restored. Serhii Haidai, head of the Luhansk RMA says that it is dangerous to use the Lysychansk–Bakhmut route. Instead, safer routes for evacuation and delivery of humanitarian aid are used.

Towards Bakhmut, fighting continues in the areas of Komyshuvakha, Novoluhanske and Berestovo.

Towards Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlovske and Zaporizhzhia, the enemy has no success, tries to strengthen their units and replenish losses by bringing outdated and restored equipment.

Towards Kryvyi Rih, the enemy fired artillery on Ukrainian troops and conducted a counterbattery struggle.

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation has not changed much. Until June 4, the armed forces of belarus will continue taking measures to check their combat readiness.

Towards Siversk, the enemy continues artillery shelling from the russian border areas, namely the settlements of Boyaro-Lezhachi and Manukhivka, Sumy oblast, Yanzhulivka and Kamenska Sloboda of Chernihiv oblast.

In the Black and Azov Seas, the russian ships of the Black Sea fleet continue trying to isolate the area of hostilities, conduct reconnaissance and fire support in the coastal direction. The enemy is blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

One carrier of sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles is ready to be used in the Black Sea.

To supply the consolidated unit of the russian armed forces located on the island of Zmiinyi, the Dyugon-class landing craft and two Raptor-class patrol boats were noticed moving towards the island.

At Sevastopol shipyard, three large landing ships of the russian fleet were simultaneously spotted.

The occupiers continue enhancing the air defense system on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. In certain areas, the enemy has deployed up to two anti-aircraft missile divisions of the S-300 air defense system from the 4th Army of the Southern Military District.

The russian president has signed a decree on simplified adoption of russian citizenship for Ukrainian orphans or those left without parental care, in particular in the temporarily occupied territories.

The SSU has completed an investigation into the first case of rape during the war. Investigators of the Ukrainian special service collected enough evidence and eyewitness reports to put on trial a russian soldier suspected of killing and raping residents of Kyiv oblast. The suspect is Romanov Mikhail Sergeevich, a soldier of 8954 military personnel, stationed in Chebarkul, Chelyabinsk oblast of the russian federation. The SSU found that during the occupation of one of the settlements of Brovary district, this military committed a number of crimes.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy notes that this year, instead of the last bell there is the sound of an air alarm. More than 1,800 educational institutions across Ukraine have been damaged by the occupiers. Windows are broken, desks are damaged. Life froze in school classrooms back on February 23. We will fight, develop, and study. For the sake of freedom and our future victory.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Catherine Colonna, visiting Ukraine right now. It is another manifestation of support for our state. We count on France’s leadership in our fight against the russian aggressor and protection of European values. Weapons supply, tougher sanctions and bringing our country closer to EU membership are of great importance for Ukraine’s victory. Catherine Colonna has also visited Bucha.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

On May 30, the Prosecutor’s office reported that a 16 year-old boy and 2 men were wounded in the russian shelling of Kharkiv. The injured people were hospitalized.The Regional Prosecutor’s office informed that 9 streets of the Kyiv district were under fire. The 400-square meter area of garage cooperatives was attacked. 

Russian military launched a missile attack on the village Zhukovskoho, Kharkiv oblast. The rescuers’ spokesman of the Kharkiv region Evgen Vasylenko informed that several shells fell on the territory of the garage cooperative. 10 car sides and 4 civilian cars were burnt down. 

Four fires broke out in the private sector in residential buildings and outbuildings. According to preliminary data, russian troops struck the town with a Smerch or Buk missile system.

Russian invaders continue to regroup troops in order to build up strike groups to resume the offensive towards Barvinkove and Izium, as well as towards Izium – Sloviansk. The General Staff of the Armed Forces informed in their evening address that the enemy tried in vain to storm the Ukrainian positions towards the village Kurulka, Kharkiv oblast.

Aggressors main efforts are focused on deterring the actions of Ukrainian units. They fired at the civilian infrastructure in the areas of the settlements of Odnorobivka, Udy, Ruski Tyshky and Cherkaski Tyshky. Russian troops are attacking Ukrainian positions with barrel and jet artillery. The russian enemy did not engage in any active warfare in the Kharkiv direction.

The occupiers fired on Merefa again, warehouses burned, but no one was injured. Derhachiv and Chuhuiv districts were also shelled. Ukrainian defenders are holding the occupied borders in the direction of the state border with the aggressor country and giving the enemy a decent rebuff. Ukrainian aircraft launched an airstrike on the occupying forces in the area of ​​Dovhenke. Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft and Su-24M bombers destroyed the company-tactical group, ammunition depot, clusters of armored vehicles, and eliminated the russian military personnel.

As of today, May 30, curfew time is changing. The curfew will last from 22:00 to 06:00.The head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov signed the relevant order.

Also explosions were reported in Kharkiv oblast in the evening.

850 people were evacuated from Kupiansk to Kharkiv. Unfortunately, the occupying forces did not allow to evacuate other buses with 1000 people.

Donetsk oblast 

The warfare is very intense. The spokesman of the Ministry of Defense Oleksandr Motuzianyk informed at his briefing, that the enemy continues the onslaught in the eastern operational zone to create the corridor from Rostov oblast in russia to the Ukrainian Crimea. Hostile russian troops are firing along the contact line and attempting to launch artillery strikes deep behind the Ukrainian defense line. At the same time, they are assaulting in several directions. Motuzianyk also added that russia continues to remove from storage the outdated and obsolete military weapons and equipment.     

The rescuers in Donetsk oblast continue to inspect shelters in Pokrovsk. 

The invaders destroyed the modern bicycle track with the BMX trail in Lyman, Donetsk oblast. It was opened in September 2021. The russian strikes damaged the administrative facility, kicker ramp and jump trails.  

The head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko informed that there was an ammonia leak in the Bakhmut region. As a result of fighting, the Togliatti-Odesa ammonia pipeline was damaged. Since 2014, it has been shut down, however there is spontaneous ammonia leak.  The areas of Bakhmut, Gladosove,  Dacha, Mykolaivka Druha, Odradivka and Opytne might be affected. ‘Locals were informed of safety measures to be taken. Rescuers are ready to eliminate the damage caused by the accident.’, said Kyrylenko. 

Luhansk oblast

The enemy is advancing inside Severodonetsk. Three doctors have disappeared in the city, only a mutilated ambulance has been found. The city’s critical infrastructure has been destroyed by almost 100%, and 90% of the housing stock has been damaged, of which 60% is critical. The city is littered with russian corpses. It is hot. In the future, it may provoke the development of infections.

Lysychansk is under Ukrainian control as well as the ‘Lysychansk-Bakhmut’ highway. It is being constantly shelled. It is dangerous to move along the highway. Humanitarian aid is being imported. 10 trucks with humanitarian aid will be sent to Lysychansk shortly.

The evacuation was officially terminated. Today, the armoured train was supposed to evacuate 10 people from the region and came under the enemy’s fire. 

Shrapnel from the shells pierced the vehicle’s armor, accredited French journalist Frédéric Leclerc-Imhoff, who was reporting on the evacuation, was fatally wounded in the neck. The patrol officer was saved by his helmet.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

Today, Catherine Colonna, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, visited Bucha.

The National Guard sappers continue to demine the territory of Kyiv oblast which was liberated almost two months ago. Since then, the sappers have found and disposed of approximately 10.5K explosive objects.

The State Emergency Service of Kyiv oblast has published a report as of 30.05.2022 regarding their units’ involvement in the search and extraction of explosive devices in the liberated settlements and territories of Kyiv oblast.

Kyiv has begun the reconstruction and complete renovation of residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities of the capital, damaged by shelling, said mayor Vitali Klytschko. For the reconstruction of Kyiv 600 million hryvnias were allocated from the city budget, and the government promised to provide another 200 million. In total, about 390 buildings in the capital require restoration, where over 220 are residential buildings, and the rest are social infrastructure facilities.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed today regarding restoration of the destroyed Makarov General Medical Services Center. During the hostilities in the Kyiv region, the russian troops damaged and destroyed a significant number of social infrastructure facilities, including 80 medical institutions.

In Brovary, the Soviet-era vehicles in Victory Park are being dismantled, said the town mayor.

As of today, 65 preschool educational institutions in Kyiv oblast have started working full time. These include 53 public institutions and 12 private ones. In all settlements where there was a need, special groups were formed that work extra hours. More than 2300 children of preschool age were enrolled in such groups, reported the deputy head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Zhanna Osypenko.

Zhytomyr oblast

In Zhytomyr, after the investigation ended, they began to clear the wreckage in the single-family residential neighborhood of Boguniya and installed more than 750 square meters of windows, primarily in the building of the 2nd City Hospital named after V.P. Pavlusenko and in Zhytomyr District Court.

According to the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, there are plans to rebuild destroyed buildings and homes in the future. Overall, since the war broke out, the oblast has suffered nearly 100 bombardments, with more than 10 of them targeting the Zhytomyr community.

More than 96K displaced citizens currently reside in Zhytomyr oblast, most of them in Brusyliv and Zhytomyr communities.

Chernihiv oblast

Demining of Chernihiv oblast continues. Over the weekend, EOD and underwater demining teams of the State Emergency Service were involved 31 times in the clearance of explosive hazards; they have found and recovered 208 explosive objects.

In total, EOD teams have been deployed 1,660 times to clear mines in the oblast since the beginning of the war. As a result, 25.160 UXOs were recovered and disposed of (according to the State Emergency Service as of the morning of May 30).

Sumy oblast

On May 29, in the evening around 17:20-17:45, observers counted around 30 explosions in the area near Boyaro-Lezhachi. There were no losses among military personnel or equipment.

Today the enemy continues shelling border settlements in Sumy oblast from russian territory. From 00:00 to 8:00, the enemy launched four attacks on the border areas in the region:

  • two airstrikes with missiles on the territory of Khotyn community in Sumy district;
  • six shells from a multiple launch rocket system on the territory of Sumy district;
  • around 10 shells from self-propelled artillery unit on the territory of Bilopillya community of Sumy district;
  • about 8 mortar shells fired on territories of the Seredyno-Buda community of Shostka district.

No casualties have been reported so far, and the damage sustained is being clarified, informed the Head of Regional Military Administration Zhyvytskyi.

The territory of the Khotyn community was shelled by the banned cluster munitions. Upon explosion, this type of ordnance scatters over large distances and poses great danger to civilians.

The enemy used artillery shells filled with flechette to fire on the territory of Shostka district, informs the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Steel rods from russian shells damaged buildings and property of residents in a settlement located next to the border. 

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The situation on the Kryvyi Rih front remains tense, but stable and under control, said Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih military administration, at a briefing on May 29.

The enemy continues to fire along the entire line of contact. The occupiers use all types of missile systems, barrel artillery, tanks, mortars and combat aircraft. They continue to use cluster and phosphorus munitions, banned by the Geneva Convention. Civilian settlements are under attack.

Today, russian troops attacked the Kryvyi Rih district with artillery. They aimed at the communities of Zelenodolsk and Apostolov, there are no victims, – stated the head of the Regional Military Administration Valentyn Reznichenko.

400 cluster munitions were neutralized in the Kryvyi Rih region last week. Unexploded shells were found in the Shirokiv and Zelenodolsk communities.

115 reports of property destroyed or damaged due the war were registered in the Dnipropetrovsk oblast. The military administration notes that it is necessary to declare the destruction of property in order to receive compensation from the state. Each case will be considered by experts and special commissions, who will assess the damage.

Refugees continue to arrive in Kryvyi Rih. There are almost 45,000 officially registered migrants in the city. In fact, there are 60,000 residing in the region right now.

“Hospitals in Dnipropetrovsk oblast continue to receive injured children from “hot spots”, said the head of the Regional Military Administration Valentyn Reznichenko. Since the beginning of the war, the region’s hospitals have received 76 young patients from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv and Kherson regions. Most of them have shrapnel wounds and complex fractures.

Kirovohrad oblast 

Another humanitarian aid project for Kharkiv oblast has been launched. Agrarians of Kirovohrad oblast sent food grain to Poltava, where it will be processed into flour, which will be sent to Kharkiv oblast for consumers.

During the past 24hrs, Kirovohrad oblast has received 250 residents from areas where active hostilities continue. 78.5 thousand internally displaced persons currently live in the Kirovohrad oblast. As of May 30, IDP certificates were issued to all citizens who had applied.

Poltava oblast

Poltava region has become a refuge for thousands of migrants. They settled in schools, kindergartens, and dormitories. More than 9.3 thousand private homeowners have already sheltered more than 32,000 IDPs.

Cherkasy oblast

Cherkasy oblast holds the farming front. Despite all difficulties, sowing has been completed in Cherkasy oblast. In the region, a total of about 1.2 million hectares were sown for harvest. This is the last year level.

Southern regions

Towards Southern Buh, the enemy did not conduct military operations. The enemy shelled civilian infrastructure near Posad-Pokrovske, Osokorivka, Novovorontsovka, Blahodatne, Partyzanske and other settlements.

During a successful offensive by Defence Forces units, the enemy suffered losses and withdrew from Mykolaivka village, Kherson oblast.

In the Black Sea and Sea of Azov, Black Sea navy continues to carry out tasks to isolate the battle area, reconnaissance and fire support in the coastal direction. The enemy is blocking civilian shipping in the north-western part of the Black Sea.

One carrier of Kalibr ship-launched cruise missiles is on standby in the Black Sea.

Invaders continue to build up their air defence system on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. The enemy deployed 2 additional anti-aircraft missile divisions of  S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems from the 4th Army of the Southern Military district in certain areas.

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Towards Zaporizhzhia, russian troops opened fire with artillery near Orikhiv and Luhivske settlements, 40-60 km southeast of Zaporizhzhia.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian troops destroyed electronic warfare station, armoured combat vehicle, Orlan-10 UAVs, 4 vehicles, 23 russian soldiers (six wounded)

The occupants reinforced the formation by moving up to 120 units of weapons and military equipment from Melitopol towards Vasylivka village.

As of 30 May, 21518 consumers in 73 settlements of Zaporizhzhia oblast are without electricity supply due to damage to power lines, towers and equipment.

About 600 people arrived in Zaporizhzhia by a humanitarian convoy in the past 24 hours. These are displaced persons from Mariupol, Melitopol, Berdiansk, Vasylkivske, Polohy raions, Zaporizhzhia oblast, as well as residents of the temporarily occupied Kherson oblast.

On the morning of 30 May, a Mercedes car exploded in the centre of temporarily occupied Melitopol near Victory Square. According to preliminary information, 2 women and a man were injured.

The mayor of temporarily occupied Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, put forward several versions regarding the probable causes of the incident. According to one version, this is how the russian invaders carry out “cleaning” of the collaborators, who “do not fulfil what they promised sufficiently”. The second version, as noted by the head of Melitopol, is related to significant resistance from civil society in the city teamed up with the security services. 

Over the past 24 hours, Huliaipole recorded the largest number of complaints from residents about the damage caused. More than 50 civilian infrastructure objects were destroyed.

On 28 May, the Defence Council of Zaporizhzhia oblast approved a new procedure for Ukrainian citizens to cross the contact line. The crossing of it into the temporarily occupied territory by people and vehicles and cargo is allowed as part of humanitarian convoys. Convoys are formed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the area of the car market in Zaporizhzhia (Orikhivske highway, 36). Admission to the site is carried out by officers of the National Police. It is necessary to register in advance.

Mykolaiv oblast

In Mykolaiv oblast, a cruise missile from the Tochka-U missile system attacked the town of Novyi Buh. The missile hit residential buildings and office centers in the city centre, three people were wounded and one person killed.

In the morning, russian troops shelled the suburbs and outskirts of Mykolaiv with long-range barrel artillery. The shelling damaged a private mill of flour production and the production premises of a meat-processing enterprise, private farmsteads and a water supply system. Unfortunately, there were casualties among civilians.

A total of 15 houses and structures were shelled by enemy troops in Mykolaiv oblast last weekend. Russian troops carried out numerous strikes of Mykolaiv and settlements in the region – Novyi Bug, Bereznehuvate, Shevchenkove, Zasillia, Liubomyrivka, Murakhivka and Prybysh.

Odesa oblast

3 russian boats are heading towards Zmiinyi Island: the Dyugon-class landing craft and two Raptor-class patrol boats. The russian soldiers are thus preparing to protect their ships from being hit by Ukrainian arms, and are also planning to reach the south of Odesa oblast.

At night and in the morning, the enemy twice attacked Odesa oblast with strategic aircraft. X-22 missiles were fired from Tu-22 aircraft. One of the missiles was destroyed by anti-aircraft defence forces, the second hit an inoperative bridge over the Dniester Estuary.

At noon, a sea anchor mine was washed up on the coast of Odesa oblast after a storm blew it off its mounts. The dangerous find was deactivated by the Ukrainian Naval Forces’ subversive team.

Municipal services in the centre of Odesa are dismantling the protective constructions installed during the first weeks of russia’s full-scale invasion.

Despite the war in the Odesa oblast, everyone is getting ready for the summer season. Some tourist business owners are planning to open recreation centres in Serhiivka.

Kherson oblast

As a result of the Defence Forces’ offensive, russian troops withdrew with losses from Mykolaivka, Kherson oblast.

Russian troops set up tank positions near Nova Kakhovka and Stepanivka. They unload equipment near Kherson. In a few days, the russian troops accumulated about 120 T-62 and BMP-2 tanks to reinforce their positions.

The Security Services of Ukraine military counterintelligence disrupted FSB special operation to discredit the OSCE in the temporarily occupied districts of southern and eastern Ukraine. The enemy planned to make staged stories for the media to accuse OSCE employees of allegedly spying for the SSU, compromise the Mission and cast doubt on its objectivity.

Western regions

There are no changes in Volyn oblast. In the armed forces of the republic of belarus until June 4 this year, measures are underway to check combat readiness.

Volyn oblast

2K tons of grain will be sent from Volyn oblast to Kharkiv oblast. Every day 50-60 tons of wheat are shipped and sent to Kharkiv oblast for further processing and production of bakery products. In total, more than a thousand tons of wheat have already been shipped.

Since the beginning of the war, 67 417 were resettled internally displaced persons in Volyn oblast. 17 came to the region last night . The oblast has the capacity to accommodate an additional 1K people.

More than 400 tons of humanitarian aid were sent from Lutsk central aid point to different parts of Ukraine. The center was opened on February 24, 2022 at the initiative of the mayor, reported the city ​​council.

Zakarpattia oblast

On June 1, the day of protection of children in Uzhgorod, the campaign “I write, draw for our heroes!” in support of Ukrainian defenders will be held. The organizers plan to write the largest number of letters and the longest joint letter to Ukrainian soldiers.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The Security Service of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast informed a resident of Luhansk oblast about suspicion of collaboration with the enemy. The investigation established that after the full-scale russian invasion and the temporary occupation of part of Luhansk oblast, the man took an “oath” to the russian-controlled terrorist group, the so-called “LPR”. Security Service of Ukraine investigators announced the occupiers’ accomplice on suspicion of collaborating in absentia.

 “Caritas” in Ivano-Frankivsk region has received humanitarian aid from Croatia. The Croatian side donated 18,150 kilograms of humanitarian aid, notably food, hygiene products for children and adults, as well as clothing.

Also recently, patrons from the Ronald McDonald’s House Foundation in Ukraine Charitable Foundation donated more than 2K food kits to migrants living in Prykarpattia.

Lviv oblast

In Lviv oblast, another 53 people who left their homes due to the war were welcomed and accomodated in the past 24 hours.

16K people crossed the border at all crossings of Lviv oblast. Queues of trucks and buses continue to be recorded at checkpoints.

Ten SUVs were sent to the front line from Lviv oblast. The region received vehicles from Polish foresters.

 Lviv paratroopers destroyed a platoon of the 104th Airborne Assault Regiment of the 76th Airborne Assault Division of the Russian Airborne Troops from the Pskov oblast in one of the directions.

Today 19 patients from Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk oblasts arrived in Lviv for treatment by evacuation train from Pokrovsk.

National Police officers detained an ex-policeman for smuggling men across the state border. For a reward of $ 3K, the attacker promised conscription men help with unimpeded travel to Poland. An ex-policeman can face up to nine years in prison for his actions.

Rivne oblast

State Ecological Inspectorate of Polissia District estimated damage to air pollution after fires at oil depots in Zhytomyr and Rivne oblasts due to rocket and bomb strikes by the aggressor. The total amount of losses is almost UAH 225 millions.

41% of registered internally displaced persons in Rivne oblast were drafted into the military service in the Armed Forces, reported in Rivne Regional Military Administration. In total, there are 11,005 IDPs men aged 18-60 in the region

In Ukraine, a soccer team “Ukraine” was created, which consists of displaced children. The team has already won first place in the “Veres Junior Cup” and is preparing for the next tournament. Oleksiy Gladkov, Deputy Director of the Veres Sports School, trains the displaced boys.

Educators of the Varas community in Rivne oblast, nuclear power plants and local organizations bought 2 cars for the Armed Forces. They raised money at charity auctions and events, where they sold paintings, embroidered shirts, delicacies and more.

14 tons of humanitarian aid, including food products, medicine, hygiene products, animal feed, blankets, and baby food, were sent to Mykolaiv oblast from Rivne oblast. The humanitarian cargo was handed over to the “Alfa Charitable Initiatives Foundation”.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil residents continue to support the military and residents of the temporarily occupied territories, raising funds for the army and humanitarian aid. Thus, at the charity football tournament in the Mykulynets community, UAH 100K were raised for the needs of the army. Comedians from Ternopil raised UAH 12K for the residents of Kherson oblast at the charity concert. Charity concerts and stands are organized weekly. Usually, the money raised is sent to the needs of the military. In Terebovlia, as part of the charity festival of children’s art “The whole world in the child’s eyes” raised money for children in need of financial support and the needs of the Armed Forces.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

In the Khmelnytskyi oblast, the communities of the villages of Cherepova and Cherepivka of the Oleshyn Starostat and the village of Grechyntsi of the Letychiv local community supported the transition from the UOC (Moscow Patriarchate) to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

 Chernivtsi oblast

From June 1, 129 leisure and recreation camps will open in Bukovyna. They plan to welcome about seven thousand children. There will be 78 summer camps in the region for learning English, German and French. Under the “Go Global” program, 11 of them will be staffed with volunteers from Egypt, Poland, Romania and Portugal.

Yulia Dupeshko-Jus, a deputy of one of the city councils of Chernivtsi district, and her husband Vasyl Dzhus are suspected of embezzling humanitarian aid. According to the investigation, the couple wanted to sell a car purchased for the purposes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The couple denies their fault.
