On the morning of June 26, the russians twice hit Kyiv with missiles damaging a residential building. There are dead and injured. In total, the russians have shelled civilian infrastructure about 500 times this week. Head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak called on the G7 leaders who gathered for the summit in Germany to respond to missile strikes and impose tougher sanctions against the aggressor country.

Here is the summary of operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

Towards Volyn and Polissia, individual units of the russian armed forces are training sabotage and reconnaissance groups for their further actions on the territory of Ukraine.

Towards Siversk, the enemy keeps separate units of the troops of the Western Military District in border areas of Briansk and Kursk regions to demonstrate their presence and deter operations of the Defense Forces. Civilian and military infrastructure was shelled near Khrinivka and Yanzhulivka.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy shelled with tanks and artillery of various calibers the areas of Chepil, Chuhuiv, Mospanove, Ruska Tyshky, and Zolochiv. There were airstrikes near Dementiivka, Yavirske and Zamulivka. Assault actions were aimed at improving the enemy’s tactical position in the area of Dementiivka with no success though.

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy shelled Dibrivne, Dolyna, Nova Dmytrivka, Ridne, Velyka Komyshuvakha and Virnopillia. Our soldiers successfully repelled enemy assaults in the areas of Dolyna, Kurulka and Mazanivka.

Towards Donetsk, the enemy, supported with artillery, is trying to block the city of Lysychansk from the southern direction. He shelled civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Loskutivka, Lysychansk, Verkhnokamianka. There was an airstrike near Vivchoiarivka. To support the offensive, the enemy strengthened artillery units.

Towards Kramatorsk, the invaders did not conduct active combat actions, but they fired artillery at the village of Maiaky.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy shelled our positions with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery near Berestove, Kodema, Mykolaivka, New York and Pokrovske.

Ukrainian soldiers inflicted significant losses on the enemy near the settlement of Pavlivka. After the unsuccessful assault, the invaders withdrew.

Towards Avdiivka, Kurakhiv and Zaporizhzhia, the enemy shelled the positions of our troops with barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Bilohiria, Huliaipilske, Marinka, Pisky, Prechystivka and Vodiane. There were missile and artillery strikes on civilian infrastructure of settlements in the rear areas of the Defense Forces.

In the South Buh direction, the invaders shelled civilian infrastructure with barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Blahodatne, Dobryanka, Hannivka, Luch, Osokorivka, Trudoliubivka and Zoria. There were missile strikes on Mykolaiv’s infrastructure.

Supported by army aviation, the enemy tried to regain control over the settlement of Potemkine, yet failed and withdrew.

The blockade of the north-western part of the Black Sea is underway.

In the temporarily occupied territories, the occupation authorities continue to carry out so-called “filtration” measures against local residents. Counterintelligence measures have been stepped up at checkpoints.

Ukrainian Defense Forces inflict losses on the enemy in all directions. Therefore, the invaders are trying to avoid hostilities. Since many russian occupiers, withdrawn to restore combat capability, have refused to return to the territory of Ukraine, the command of individual units banned them from taking any vacations.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine says that russia is increasing its military presence in belarus and plans to transfer 10 aircraft to Baranovichi airfield.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, russia stole at least 400K tonnes of grain from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.

According to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, Google Arts & Culture will create a separate section on Ukraine’s cultural heritage. Users will be able to take online tours of collections and galleries, and get more information about works of art.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff, the russian occupation troops in the Sloviansk direction are concentrating their main efforts on conducting an offensive toward Dovhenke. Toward Kharkiv, the russians continue to defend and shell Kharkiv and other settlements in the region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an assault on Dementiivka, Kharkiv oblast.

On the night of June 26, russia massively shelled Kharkiv. Residents reported explosions in Industrialnyy district of the city, and a new series of explosions were heard in the northeast of the city.

The attack on Kharkiv damaged a medical facility in Microdistrict 602. Also that night, flat balconies, cars and garages burned in the north of the city. One of the exploded rockets landed in a private sector in Oleksiivka. At least five houses were damaged. A several-metre-wide crater was formed at the place of the strike and a water main was damaged.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine fighters rescued 2 people, a husband and a wife, in a residential house in Kholodnohirskyy district that collapsed after a russian air attacl. According to the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office, the house was hit by an enemy missile strike.

The russian occupation troops shelled Barvinkove city, southern Kharkiv oblast, nearly 50 km from the temporarily occupied Izium city. An artillery shell fell on the territory of a private home: a 61-year-old man was injured. “The fate of one woman is still unknown: law enforcers are looking for her under the rubble of the house,” the Kharkiv prosecutor’s office reported.

At the site of the nighttime shelling of Saltivka, Kharkiv, sappers removed unexploded pieces of the Uragan rocket. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, it was a rocket filled with cluster munitions, which, fortunately, did not detonate. 3 clusters failed to detonate, which were removed and defused.

Donetsk oblast

According to the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops are concentrating their efforts on an offensive toward Mazanivka, Donetsk oblast. The Ukrainian troops caused significant losses to the russian troops near Pavlivka settlement. After an unsuccessful assault, the invaders withdrew.

According to the Donetsk Regional Civil-Military Administration, 3 civilians were killed by russian shelling in a day.

The russian troops shelled Kostiantynivka. According to the Kostiantynivka Regional Military Administration, a rocket hit an abandoned non-residential building and the territory of one of the city’s enterprises (a non-residential three-storey building, a garage and an auto body shop were damaged).

Russian troops are destroying the Sviatohirsk Cave Monastery, Donetsk oblast. The monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) sheltered displaced people fleeing shelling in Donetsk and Kharkiv oblasts. By the time the first rocket hit, more than 500 people were there.

According to Mariupol mayor’s councillor Petro Andriushchenko, the occupation administration in Mariupol received a task to ensure full restoration of the city port in the first decade of July. For the fourth day in a row, convoys of russian equipment were moving through Mariupol in a western direction.

Today a school in Toretsk was shelled. Windows were broken and the roof was damaged. Yesterday, a school in Maiaky was destroyed. Over 220 schools have already been struck by russian weapons in the last four months. Once again, Avdiivka Coke Plant and the city itself are under enemy fire. The russians are striking it continuously, killing civilians and destroying the region’s industrial potential. Cluster munitions were used by the russians in Hrodivka community and at least 1 person was injured.

Luhansk oblast

Russian troops shelled near Llskutivka, Vovchoiarivka, Verkhnokamianka, Zolotarivka. The enemy carried out an air strike with a pair of Su-25s in Bila Hora.

According to the head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Hayday, the russian troops launched air strikes against Lysychansk. He added that after the occupation of Severodonetsk, the russian troops focused all their forces on capturing Lysychansk.

Lysychansk suffered heavy damage. A television tower fell in the city and high-rise buildings were on fire. Bridges leading to the city are under constant shelling. The body of a man was found on the hospital grounds.

Near the regional centre, the invaders shelled Pavlohrad and Synetskyy villages. Shelling of destroyed bridges to Severodonetsk continues, with constant shelling of Azot plant, hitting the out-of-town State Emergency Service of Ukraine landfill.

The occupation authorities in Luhansk oblast set the exchange rate of the ruble against the Ukrainian hryvnia at 1.5 as of June 25. Thus, the Ukrainian currency in the “republic” lost 50 kopeks in one day. According to residents, prices in shops and markets increased significantly.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

An enemy missile hit a residential high-rise in the Shevchenkivsky district in Kyiv. Vitaliy Klychko informe that twenty-five residents of the building were evacuated. As a result of shelling 6 people were injured, 4 hospitalized, including a 7-year-old girl. One person was killed. Rescue and ambulance teams are working at the scene.

The State Emergency Service reported that a total of 113 rescuers and 22 vehicles are engaged at the scene. Due to shelling the house caught on fire, three top floors were partially destroyed, and building structures from the 1st to the 7th floors were damaged.

A kindergarten near the high-rise building was also affected by the shelling. A missile that landed there damaged a water pipeline.

Police operational and investigative units continue to work at the scene of this morning’s shelling in Kyiv, documenting the consequences of enemy missile strikes.

The head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kuleba informed that air defense forces shot down a russian missile in Kyiv oblast. The remains of the missile fell in one of the villages of Fastiv region. There were no casualties or damage.

324 explosive objects have been cleared in Kyiv oblast. Inspection and disposal of explosive objects was carried out in the settlements of Brovary, Bucha, Obukhiv, Vyshhorod regions. 46K EODs were found and cleared in the region.

Zhytomyr oblast

2 657 facilities were damaged in Zhytomyr oblast, including 177 facilities which were completely destroyed. Work continues to eliminate the consequences of bombing and missile strikes. It was reported by the head of the military administration of the oblast. Windows, doors, and roofs in houses that do not require major repairs are being installed or repaired.

60 facilities in Zhytomyr oblast were identified as extremely unsafe and subject to demolition. When it comes to residential buildings, 2 high-rises with 122 apartments and 138 private houses are .

Sumy oblast

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the enemy fired with mortars and barrel artillery on the settlements of Hlukhiv, Seredyno-Buda, and Yunakivka communities of Sumy oblast. One resident of Yunakivka community was injured.

Two russian helicopters fired six missiles from russian territory on the Krasnopillya community. As a result, civilian infrastructure was destroyed and damaged, namely a hospital, a center of culture, a library, and a school. The enemy also dropped two munitions from a drone on the community. There were no casualties.

In the morning, the enemy opened mortar fire on Shalyhine and Yunakivka communities. 24 explosions were recorded, and information about casualties and damage is being clarified.

Representatives and the head of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross visited Sumy this week. Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of Sumy Regional Military Administration said that the purpose of the visit and the meeting was to discuss further cooperation, humanitarian aid in Sumy oblast and the memorandum on cooperation.

Chernihiv oblast

The State Border Guard Service informed that the enemy was firing with mortars and barrel artillery on the border areas of Novhorod-Siversky, Semenivka, and Snovsk communities. As a result of shelling, an agricultural enterprise located in Semenivka region was damaged and a fire broke out. Grain sheds and farm machinery were damaged too.

At around 5 a.m., 8 barrel artillery strikes were recorded near Hirsk village, as well as 10 explosions in a settlement in Novhorod-Siversky region.

According to the North Operational Command, there were no losses among military personnel or equipment. There is no information about casualties among the local population. The civilian infrastructure has been damaged.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovs oblast

Russian troops shelled Zelenodolsk community from artillery and Uragan MLRSs. 2 people were wounded. They were rendered medical aid. The head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Valentyn Reznichenko informed that multi-story buildings, culture house and the post office were damaged.

Due to shelling, visiting the park and coastal area is forbidden for residents of Zelenodolsk community.

Within the framework of the creative project Art Nastup, a charity vernissage was held in Dnipro. Raised funds will be donated to a Fund rendering help to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Cherkasy oblast

According to the head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration Ihor Taburets, the enemy fired two missiles at Cherkasy oblast. As a result, one person was killed and five injured. An infrastructure facility was also damaged.

Heroes of the past and present were honored in Kholodnyy Yar. Kholodnyy Yar rebels are legends for their courage, setting an example for future generations. The 93rd brigade of our troops was named after legendary fighters of Kholodnyy Yar.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

RMA reported that towards Zaporizhzhia, the situation has not changed significantly.

The enemy fired at 41 positions of Ukrainian defenders, using MLRSs and tube artillery along the entire line of contact.

According to the Directorate of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia oblast, the occupiers fired on civilian infrastructure in the areas of Kamianske and Prymorske. There were 9 reports of destroyed civilian infrastructure due to shelling by russian occupation forces.

1 039 people have been evacuated, 257 of them are children.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia oblast, russians place their personnel in apartments of those who left the occupied territory for the territories Ukraine-controlled. Threatening physical violence, they demand from relatives and acquaintances to give keys to empty homes of forcibly displaced families. In case of refusal, they break into apartments, freely using all property left by Ukrainians as their own.

23 641 consumers in 84 settlements of Zaporizhzhia oblast are left without electricity supply due to damaged power supply lines. Specialists restored power supply to 2 250 consumers.

1 113 families in Polohy district and 940 households in Vasylivka district were left without electricity due to the shelling.

Mykolaiv oblast

In the morning, there were explosions in Mykolaiv again. According to the Military commandant’s office of Mykolaiv Defense, an unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed.

An enemy missile flew on a critically low altitude over the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant. The flight was recorded on a video. This was reported by Enerhoatom.

The shelling of villages along the contact line in Bereznehuvatska community continues. The information on victims and injuries is being clarified.

There was shelling outside the settlements in the Shyroke community from 23:30 to 05:00. The occupiers hit agricultural lands. There are no victims.

1 fire broke out due to the enemy attacks on the territory of Mykolaiv oblast. The Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv oblast reports about it. Due to the hit of ammunition and debris, an outbuilding ignited on the territory of a private household in Shevchenkove village community.

Pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service removed 48 explosive devices during the day.

5 960 civilian objects were damaged in Mykolaiv oblast as a result of hostilities. 7 258 consumers are left without gas supply.

Five people have been injured in shelling by russian troops. There are no kids among the victims.

Odesa oblast

The enemy’s naval group, located in the Black and Azov Seas, is focusing its efforts on blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Two carriers of naval-based cruise missiles of the Kalibr type are ready to be used in the Black Sea.

Ukrainian air defenses shot down two russian anti-ship Onyx missiles over Odesa Oblast. This was reported by the South Operational Command. The missiles were fired from the coastal complex Bastion from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Border guards detained a woman at one of the checkpoints in Odesa oblast, who consciously participated in attempts to legalize the DPR / LPR by organizing a pseudo-election of DPR chairman. The woman was handed over to the National Police.

Odesa Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named by V. Vasylka opened the 98th theatrical season. The theater was reopened in the press-center of the institution.

Kherson oblast

In the southern operational zone, the enemy mostly continues defensive actions, does not create new strike groups, and tries to deplete Ukrainian troops with rocket artillery and mortar shelling. This was reported in the South Operational Command.

The density of shelling has increased almost 1.5 times. In addition, the enemy inflicted 4 air strikes on Ukrainian positions, and used an air-to-air guided missile against the aircraft.

The situation is complex in almost all settlements through which the Inhulets River flows: houses have been destroyed, elevators and other industrial, social and road infrastructure facilities have been damaged. The river bank is mined in many places.

The recorded losses of the enemy for the day amounted to 24 people, 2 tanks and 5 other armored vehicles. 2 enemy field ammunition depots and a firing point were destroyed.

The russian military has released the former head of the Belozersk village council, Antonina Cherednyk, and the council’s deputy, Volodymyr Posunko. Details of their detention are still unknown.

The russian military abducted the head of the Stanislavsky community, Ivan Samoilenko. Earlier, he reported that the russian military took his phone and “checked” it for 11 days. Until June 23, the head of the community was in touch and performed his duties.

The car of the so-called “head” of the education department Iryna Makhneva, who cooperates with the occupation authorities, burned down in Kakhovka. This was reported by the Kherson RMA.

Western regions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine says that the security situation towards Volyn and Polissia has not changed significantly, but a strict ban is imposed on citizens visiting forests in the north of Volyn oblast. The border with belarus is guarded. In case of provocations of the Armed Forces of belarus, the Territorial Defense and volunteer units are ready for decisive actions.

In the western Ukraine, there were multiple threats of air and missile strikes from the Black Sea and from the territory of belarus in the last 24 hours.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

In the city of Kalush, students who won a UAH 1K in an eco-action decided to donate them to purchase a car for the Territorial Defense.

The mayor of the Ivano-Frankivsk city community Ruslan Martsinkiv announced that the Church of the Nativity of Christ, which belonged to the UOC of the moscow Patriarchate, was transferred to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Ivano-Frankivsk became the first regional center in Ukraine where not a single parish of the moscow Patriarchate remained.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi IDP accommodation centers received 40 washing machines and 40 dryers for IDPs from the International Organization for Migration.

Lviv oblast

174 people arrived by two evacuation trains in Lviv, including 10 patients from medical institutions of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts. The condition of patients is assessed as moderate and severe.

19 046 people crossed the checkpoints in Lviv oblast during the day.

The police processed 1 640 complaints about suspicious people and objects.

Rivne oblast

The mayor Ruslan Serpeninov reported that russia inflicted 2 missile strikes on Rivne oblast. The missiles hit the objects of civilian infrastructure in the city of Sarny, exactly in the service station with a car wash and a repair facility. As a result of the strikes, four men aged 30 to 51 were killed. During the emergency rescue operation, the Civil Service of Ukraine for Emergencies pulled 10 people out of the rubble, two of them in critical condition.

In Rivne, the project “School of Civilian Security VOIN” started training civilians to master combat skills. Funds raised are transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces.

Volyn

The head of the volunteer movement “Patrons for Soldiers” Ruslan Telipsky announced that the «ARTatka» charity exhibition will be open in Lutsk on July 1, where money will be raised to support the 14th brigade.

Zakarpattia oblast

The Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration reported that the Uzhhorod ITCup “Cup of AFU” football tournament took place in Uzhhorod, during which over UAH 64 K were raised in support of Ukraine’s defenders. Two high-capacity charging stations were purchased and sent to the soldiers of the 68th Territorial Defense battalion.

A charity beach volleyball tournament “Together to Victory” is being held in Zakarpattia oblast, in which 16 male and 10 female teams are taking part. The money raised during the tournament will go to support the Armed Forces.

International support

In Bavaria, a three-day summit of leaders of G7 countries began. The key topic is the war in Ukraine. The US president Joe Biden announced that G7 countries plan to impose an embargo on imports of russian gold to deprive the aggressor of tens of billions of dollars a year.

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported that the “transport visa-free regime” with the EU is scheduled to be signed on June 29.

The Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine Melinda Simmons announced that the United Kingdom issued over 130K visas for Ukrainians under two available programs “Family”, where housing is offered by relatives and “House for Ukraine”, where apartments are offered by the British. There are currently about 80K Ukrainians in Britain.
