Russian occupiers launched seven missiles at Mykolayiv. As a result of the strike, industrial enterprises, a school, multi storeyed buildings and private houses were damaged. Some people were injured.

The situation in Volyn and Polissia has not changed significantly.

Towards Siversk, the enemy applied barrel artillery to shelling Myropilske,Turia and Slavhorod, Sumy oblast.

Towards Sloboda region, the enemy is trying to improve tactical position of its units in the area of Sloviansk by assault actions. The enemy applied barrel and rocket artillery to Bohorodychne, Chervone, Chervona Poliana, Dmytrivka, Dolyna, Karnaukhivka, Krasnopillia, Kurulka, Nova Novopavlivka, Nova Dmytrivka, Pryshyb, Ridne, Shnurky, Semylanne, Velyka Komyshuvakha and Voskopillia.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy is fighting to hold back the units of the Defense Forces. There was artillery shelling in the areas of Bairak, Kharkiv, Khrestyshche, Korobochkine, Kulynychi, Lebiazhe, Mospanove, Rtyshchivka, Ruska Lozova, Rubizhne, Pechenihy, Petrivka, Shevelivka, Shestakove, Stary Saltiv, Peremoha, Pytomnyk, Udy and Verkhniy Saltiv.

Towards Donetsk, the occupation forces are trying to advance towards the city of Bakhmut and establish control over Sievierodonetsk.

Towards Sievierodonetsk, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Sievierodonetsk, Syrotyne and Verkhniokamianka. Fighting for Sievierodonetsk continues.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy did not take active offensive actions. There was shelling on the positions of the Defense Forces with barrel artillery in the areas of Donetske, Maiakiv, Pryshyba, and Sydorove.

Towards Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlovsky and Zaporizhzhia, the enemy continues systematic firing to prevent our defense forces units from transferring to other areas.

The enemy carried out airstrikes near Avdiivka, Kamianka, Novobakhmutivka, Pavlivka, Shevchenko and Vuhledar.

In the area of Novobakhmutivka, our soldiers repelled an assault and forced the enemy to withdraw.

In the South Buh direction, by strengthening engineering equipment of positions, shelling with barrel and rocket artillery, the enemy is trying to prevent the advance of our troops deep into the seized territory.

Ukrainian journalist and photographer Max Levin and his friend Aleksii Chernyshov were deliberately executed by russian soldiers near Kyiv, probably following interrogation and torture. This is stated in the investigation of the international organization “Reporters without borders” (RSF). Another well-known journalist Vladimir Chepovy, who defended Ukraine from the occupiers, has been declared missing today.

NATO will identify russia as the alliance’s most serious threat. The new strategic concept will be approved at the summit in Madrid, said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Ukraine is ready to implement all recommendations for joining the EU. On June 24, Ukraine is waiting for a decision on the candidate status. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna.

The board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine said that the whole oil refining industry in Ukraine has stopped due to targeted russian missile attacks.

Lychakiv District Court of Lviv extended the arrest of MP Viktor Medvedchuk until August 9. Medvedchuk was detained on April 12 as a result of SSU operation. He is accused of treason.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops continue shelling Kharkiv oblast with artillery and multiple rocket launchers. More than 20 settlements in the region are under attack, including Kharkiv, Korobochkyne, Kulynychi, Pechenihy, Staryy Saltiv

On the contact line, the enemy is firing barrels and rocket artillery. Invaders conduct air reconnaissance toward Kharkiv. In Izium, the enemy continues to onslaught Sloviansk. Our troops are holding their defence. Russian invaders are suffering significant losses.

According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, 3 districts of Kharkiv were shelled throughout the day. Russian invaders hit Slobidskyy, Industrialnyy and Nemyshlianskyy districts of Kharkiv. Household and industrial facilities were damaged and several massive fires occurred. Preliminarily 3 people were injured. The information is being verified.

A man was also injured in Shevchenkove settlement, Kupiansk region. The russians continued shelling Chuhuiv city during night, destroying houses and outbuildings. Preliminarily 2 people were killed, and 2 injured.

According to the head of the community, Viktor Kovalenko, in Zolochiv settlement, a two-storey apartment building was destroyed by a russian missile strike. 1 person was killed. The search and rescue operation is completed. 3 people were rescued from the rubble.

According to the head of the Izium District Administration, Stepan Maselskyy, 5 residents of the Pryshyb village near Balakliia were killed as a result of russian mortar shelling on June 22.

Donetsk oblast

Troops are trying to advance toward Bakhmut city. The enemy carried out air strikes near Berestove, Yakovlivka, Klynove and Vershyna settlements and air and missile strikes near Chasiv Yar, Hirske, Novoluhanske. The enemy shelled Defence Forces’ positions using barrel artillery in Donetsk, Maiskiv, Pryshyb, Sydorove. In Novobakhmutivka, our soldiers repelled the assault and forced the enemy to retreat.

According to Mariupol mayor’s councillor Petro Andriushchenko, for the second day in a row, large convoys of russian invaders’ vehicles left Mariupol and Mariupol region towards Berdiansk-Polohy. He added that the russian invaders changed their tactics of controlling movement of people. More often control of mobile groups suddenly appears in different parts of the city. The change in tactics is related to withdrawal of the majority of the invaders’ military remnants from the city to other parts of the front. Also, he said that mobile communication remains a big issue. The russian invaders are giving away their operator’s cards. The invaders changed their tactics of controlling Mariupol due to a lack of resources. According to the mayor’s councillor, the invaders dismantled stationary roadblocks and left only control points near bridges. Now the enemy more often uses mobile groups suddenly appearing in different areas.

According to Mariupol mayor Vadym Boychenko, russian invaders in Mariupol are no longer removing rubble, broken buildings are taken to landfills together with bodies of the dead.

According to the head of Sloviansk city military administration, Vadym Liakh, in Sloviansk, the russian troops have been shelling Pivnichnyy district from June 21 to the night of June 22. There are casualties.

According to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, 6 children were injured as a result of russian military shelling of Chasiv Yar on June 21.

On June 22, the russians killed 4 Donetsk civilians: 2 in Prechystivka, 1 in Krasnohorivka and 1 in Zalizne. 5 people were injured.

Luhansk oblast

The enemy is trying to establish full control over Sievierodonetsk and is trying to blockade Defence Forces units in the Borivske and Voronove, fighting continues. The invaders are gaining a foothold in Ustynivka, launching an offensive toward Bila Hora, with partial success, combat actions continue there as well.

Toward Toshkivka – Pidlisne, the enemy captured Pidlisne and Myrna Dolyna, gaining a foothold in the occupied positions. There is also partial success in Hirske.

Today, the russians continue to gather reserves in Sievierodonetsk and toward Toshkivka-Zolote. The fighting now continues there.

According to the head of the Sievierodonetsk Regional Civil-Military Administration, Oleksandr Striuk, during a TV marathon, the fighting moved to the territory of the industrial zone and partially the Azot plant, and the situation is complicated.

Lysychansk continues to suffer from enemy shelling. Only a few days later, orcs caused catastrophic damage to the city. There are 3 injured civilians and several policemen. Massive shelling significantly destroyed infrastructure and residential areas. Intentionally, enemy missiles were fired at the buildings of the city’s power structures, police, prosecutor’s office, SSU.

Orcs refused to force the Severskyy Donets River out of fear of great losses.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

An Italian delegation headed by the mayor of Bergamo Giorgio Gori and Mauricio Carraro, an honorable president of the Italian NGO CESVI, visited Kyiv oblast, informed Olexiy Kuleba, head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration. During the meeting they discussed the prospects of rebuilding the region near the capital and possible areas of cooperation between Kyiv oblast and a town of Bucha with the Italian partners.

The members of the Supervisory Board of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) visited Hostomel, the sites of mass burials of civilians in Bucha and Borodianka and witnessed the russian war crimes. The delegation also toured the Antonov Company where the destroyed An-225 Mriya aircraft is located.

In the last 24 hours the EOD teams found and disposed of 335 explosive objects, inspected 110.49 hectares of territory, checked 1.1 km of highways and 8 objects, reports the Regional Military Administration.

The emergency repair of Kyiv-Chernihiv highway, which was significantly damaged during the hostilities, is almost complete. In addition to patching the road, Ukravtodor has repaired destroyed roadsides and made two temporary bypasses in places of bridges destroyed during the combat operations.

In Kyiv oblast, 339 suburban and intercity public bus routes with about 600 vehicles have been resumed. Passenger transportation is provided to all districts of the oblast. However, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, there are cases of illegal transportation by road without appropriate permits. Patrol police of the oblast performs field inspections of such cases.

Since the beginning of the year, 5.5K people have been employed with the help of Kyiv regional employment service. At the same time 14.2K citizens in the oblast are registered as unemployed. The Emergency Service notes that employers who hire internally displaced people will receive compensation, notes the Employment Service. 178 people from the regions with ongoing hostilities have already been employed in Kyiv oblast. To this end, companies received 2.2 million UAH.

Due to the current situation, the organizers of the biggest volunteer educational platform in Eastern Europe – GoCamp Online – offer the updated programs on creativity, digital technologies, business, and entrepreneurship for Ukrainian schools. Thirty teams from the schools of Kyiv oblast will take part in the exchange program UKRAINE IS THE CAPITAL OF GREAT PEOPLE.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration informed that summer 33 camp sessions for children aged 6-17 will work in 23 territorial communities in Kyiv oblast. In total, about 2.5K children will be able to spend their vacation in school-based children’s day camps over the summer period.

In the online rating poll the Ukrainians gave more than 6.5 million votes in favor of renaming the city facilities. The voting results were transferred to the Kyiv City Council to be further considered by an expert commission. In the Kyiv Digital app, the citizens of Ukraine voted to rename almost 300 objects, the names of which are associated with russia and its satellites.

The South Bridge in Kyiv was closed for private vehicles. Only special emergency and rescue vehicles, public transport, transit cargo vehicles, and cars with special permits are allowed to pass. The day before the traffic resumed on the Metro and Paton bridges in the city.

Zhytomyr oblast

Recently 90 wards of Komyshivka psychoneurological boarding house arrived in Zhytomyr oblast from Donetsk oblast. The russian troops significantly damaged their facility leaving it without power, water and heating supply. Since the beginning of the war, Zhytomyr oblast has become a shelter for a dozen social institutions dealing with those in need of special care. There are currently 260 people from Donetsk oblast in residential institutions of the oblast.

According to Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, 221 laptops were donated to educational institutions of Malyn and Korosten communities. Thanks to a joint initiative arranged by UNICEF and the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science, school teachers will be able to continue working remotely. Overall, the program will provide 583 laptops to educational institutions in the oblast.

Daisuke Tarutani traveled from Japan to Zhytomyr, Ukraine, to witness how people live in war conditions and then to show it to the world. The man hosted a family from Zhytomyr. He says that normally Japan doesn’t take refugees in, but after the russian invasion of Ukraine, the procedure has changed – it is possible to give shelter to refugees if locals take responsibility for the family.

Sumy oblast

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports that six people were injured due the shelling of the Krasnopil community. In one of the settlements the civilian infrastructure was damaged. Four people were injured due a kamikadze drone attack.

At night and in the morning, the enemy fired mortars at the Esman and Novoslobodsk communities. 20 explosions were recorded. There were no casualties or damage.

The head of the RMA Dmytro Zhyvytskyi said that during the day, the enemy fired on Sumy oblast with various weapons. In total, more than 80 explosions were recorded. The communities of Bilopillya (the villages of Atynske and Stari Vyrky), Hlukhiv, Khotyn, Shalyhine and Velyka Pysarivka were affected. The premises of the Atynske Psychoneurological Boarding School, the water tower and the local farm were damaged (animals were injured, equipment was distroyed). A person died following the hit with an explosive device by an enemy drone on the territory of the Hlukhiv community.

In the territory of Okhtyrka district, a car with policemen patrolling the territory exploded on an enemy mine. Two police officers were injured.

Divers caught a deadly catch in the Sejm River – the Igla portable anti-aircraft missile system. The explosive device together with a 125 mm artillery shell were removed from the reservoir in the village of Korolky by specialists of the humanitarian demining and special pyrotechnic works SES team.

Sumy military administration reported that 2063 buildings in Sumy oblast were destroyed by russian shelling. 1310 private and 198 apartment buildings were damaged. The number of damaged houses is constantly increasing, as the shelling of the territory of Sumy oblast by russia does not stop. The list of damaged buildings also includes critical infrastructure, educational and medical institutions, administrative buildings and private enterprises.

Okhtyrka TPS, destroyed by the rashists, is being restored. There are two stages of the project to provide the city with a heating supply: installation of a gas water boiler and boilers running on wood chips. “Naftogaz-Bioenergy” company financed and implemented the second project stage. The work is scheduled to be completed in the second half of October.

The head of RMA Dmytro Zhyvytskyi informs the region’s residents that Trostyanets hospital, which was recently shelled by orcs during the occupation of the city, is also to be rebuilt. Last week, technical inspection of the premises was completed and an expert opinion on the condition of the building was obtained. The hospital will be rebuilt at the expense of government funds.

Chernihiv oblast

As of the morning of June 21, the SES of Chernihiv oblast provided the information that the SES underwater demining and pyrotechnic works teams were involved in disposal of explosive devices 19 times. They found and seized 170 such items. 28 793 explosive devices have been seized since the beginning of hostilities.

In Chernihiv oblast, the priority works on restoration of the damaged infrastructure continue: roof covering in the Chernihiv regional blood center; current repair of one of the boiler houses of JSC “Oblteplokomunenergo”; work on current repairs and installation of windows in Chernihiv Regional Hospital.

The premises of the regional center for emergency medical care and disaster medicine, damaged in the first days of the full-scale invasion by russian troops, are being reconstructed. According to the regional military administration, more than 2.7 million hryvnias have been allocated for renovation of the premises. Builders need about a month and a half to complete the work.

The Netherlands donated 144 bicycles to Chernihiv oblast. Soon they will be handed over to doctors, educators, and critical infrastructure workers. The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine and “De Leeuw Kyiv” organization contributed to making it happen.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

It is not quiet in Kryvyi Rih region. The enemy shelled Apostolovo and Zelenodolsk communities several times. According to preliminary information, there are no victims.

As a result of enemy shelling, the center of the village Velyka Kostromka, Kryvyi Rih region, was destroyed. 4 shops and a culture house were destroyed. There is no electricity and gas supply in the community.

The head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Valentyn Reznichenko informed that 21 people were killed due to enemy attacks in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration advised that 31 communities in Dnipropetrovsk region received equipment and tools to rebuild the infrastructure damaged by the shelling.

A scientific support group for children injured during the war is opened in the Dnipro Scientific and Technical Library.

Vinnytsia oblast

Since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, 13 medical institutions in Vinnytsia region continue to receive and treat wounded soldiers. Thousands of surgeries have been already performed there.

Every day volunteers weave camouflage nets for defenders at the Vinnytsia Construction College.

In Vinnytsia, privileged internally displaced persons obtain passes for public commuting. Members of the public organization “Fond Rozvytku Hromady”, moving from Kramatorsk to the city Bar, Vinnytsia oblast, organized a Nordic walking club. They also help other internally displaced people and send humanitarian aid to Donetsk oblast.

Russian literature is removed from library shelves in Vinnytsia region. Russian books are moved to library storage.

Poltava oblast

In Poltava oblast, local authorities are assessing the consequences of destruction of the Kremenchug CHP plant as a result of the enemy missile strikes. The CHP itself and the neighboring refinery have already been shelled several times by russian troops. Currently, the region is working to create a regional fund for the prompt resolution of possible heating issues.

In Poltava oblast, 9 militants of the so-called “DPR” who fought against Ukrainian soldiers were convicted. The Security Service of Ukraine reported that the court sentenced them to 15 years in prison each. The men were arrested in Kharkiv oblast. They joined illegal armed groups in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region at the beginning of a full-scale invasion.

A housing fund has been set up in the Nekhvoroshchanka community for temporaly displaced persons. The fund now has five rooms. They want to build a house of four apartments. The community and the state budget funds will be used to this end.

The Polish magazine «Wprost» awarded the ShEO Awards 2022 to Natalia Panchenko from Poltava, who organized the blockade of russian trucks on the border with Belarus and called her the activist of the year. The statuettes of the famous magazine are given to “the most influential leaders changing the world and inspiring others.” In March, Natalia, together with Iryna Zemlyana, blocked trucks on the border between Poland and Belarus, which imported goods to russia. Within a month of confrontation, they managed to achieve the goal. The EU banned the passage of russian trucks until the end of the war.

The Poltava community received humanitarian aid – 4 trucks with almost four thousand food kits of 68 tons in total. With the support of NGO called “the Light of Hope”, the products will be distributed among internally displaced persons. The community also received humanitarian aid from UNICEF – personal hygiene products and first aid kits.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The situation is under control and without significant changes in the Zaporozhzhia direction. The enemy continues to conduct positional defense, prepares the temporarily occupied settlements for circular defense, creates strongholds on major road routes.

The enemy fired 42 shells at Ukrainian defenders’ positions with artillery and jet artillery along the entire line of contact. The russian army fired on civilian infrastructure in the areas of Hulyaipole, Novoyakovlivka, Orikhiv and Tavriyske.

The SES of Zaporozhzhia Oblast reported that there were 9 fires in Polohy region as a result of artillery shelling by the russian occupiers. Pyrotechnicians also found 13 units of cluster cumulative fragmentation elements and 2 rockets from the Hurricane multiple rocket launcher in several settlements of Zaporizhzhia region.

1 362 people were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory, 349 of them children.

More than 21 000 consumers in 78 settlements of Zaporizhzhia region do not have power supply due to damage to power lines. PJSC “Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo” has restored energy supply to 17 000 consumers in Orikhiv district and in the town of Polohy.

There are 81 thousand consumers in 107 settlements of the region without gas supply. 48 settlements of Berdiansk and Melitopol region remain disconnected from gas supply due to damage to the main gas pipeline in Donetsk region.

The occupiers are clearing the waters of the Berdyansk trading port to export grain looted from Ukrainian reserves. A railway train arrived in the temporarily occupied Melitopol to transport grain. It is loaded for further transportation to russia.

Zaporizhzhia investigators exposed a swindler who deceived citizens under the pretext of raising funds for the Armed Forces. This was reported by the National Police in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The investigation established that the 34-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia in collusion with another person, received funds from citizens under the pretext of collecting charitable contributions for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In March-April, they defrauded more than ten citizens and businesses for a total of almost 400K hryvnias.

Mykolaiv oblast

According to the South Operational Command, the situation in the operational zone remains steadily tense.

In Mykolayiv, the enemy fired on the Bereznehuvatska and Voskresenska communities. One person was injured. Dry grass and harvest fields ignited. The fires were promptly extinguished.

The port infrastructure in Ochakiv was under rocket attack at night. There are no casualties. The oui villages Chervone, Lotskyne, Solonchaky, Stara Bohdanivka was under fire.

Russian army continues firing at Mykolaiv. Yesteraday in the morning russian forces launched a massive missile attack on industrial and port infrastructure, residetial areas, including 2 school buildings. The banned cluster munitions were used. One cluster exploded in the yard of a private house. As a result, one man was killed, one wounded.

Oleksandr Sienkevych, Mayor of Mykolaiv, stated that Mykolaiv was attacked by guided missiles. Russian forces launched 7 missiles. Private enterprises, houses and a school were damaged.

Te Armed Forces of Ukraine performed 150 fire tasks during the day, and 5 strikes were inflicted on the enemy by aircraft. The enemy losses reached 49 people, 2 self-propelled howitzers “Msta-C”, 1 tractor, 1 electronic warfare station, 1 ammunition depot, 5 units of armored vehicles and vehicles.

Since the beginning of the russian invasion, 5663 civilian objects have been damaged in Mykolaiv oblast. Currently, 6 097 consumers don’t have gas, power, water supply and sewerage have been cut off in 97 settlements of Bashtansky and Mykolayiv districts.

The farmers, transporting agricultural crops (grain, legumes, sunflower, rape), are allowed to move on highways during curfew in Mykolaiv oblast. They carry out round-the-clock field work and move agricultural machinery in the field.

The Maltese charity organization of Ivano-Frankivsk sent aid to Mykolaiv oblast. Masks required for rescuers, hygiene and food products were delivered to Mykolaiv. Technical equipment, food and a car for delivering humanitarian aid and organizing field kitchens were transported to Iuzhnoukrainsk.

Odesa oblast

A group of enemy forces consisting of 5 missile ships, 3 VDK and 1 submarine, continue to pose a threat with a missile strike by 44 cruise missiles.

On the Zmiiny (Snake) island, the anti-aircraft missile system “Pantsir C1”, a radar station and automobile equipment were hit. The final results are being investigated.

Kherson oblast

The occupation authorities are putting pressure on educators and doctors, abducting activists, journalists, and public figures, while shelling and hostilities continue in Kherson oblast. The Chief Intelligence Directorate reports that the occupiers are forcing Ukrainian doctors to issue fictitious certificates. The main requirement is to provide medical certificates to discontinue military service due to illness. The russian army took the bodies of its dead soldiers to the area of Chaplynka airfield for their cremation.

The local village council reported that as a result of the mass shelling, there was a large fire in the field and forest on the territory of the Kochubeiivka territorial community. The fire spread to the village, burned down farm buildings, severely damaged houses, cut electrical wires, and killed cattle. There are no casualties.

In Chornobayivka, an assassination attempt was made on a local collaborator, Yuri Turulyov, the head of the military civilian administration. This was reported by the Suspile Meedia with reference to Serhiy Khlan, adviser to the head of the Kherson RMA. According to him, Turulyov’s car was blown up, but he was not injured.

Police in Kherson oblast have opened 408 criminal proceedings for the illegal imprisonment of civilians in Kherson oblast by russian occupiers. Among victims of enforced disappearances are mayors, village starostas, deputies of regional and local councils, law enforcement officers, military men, activists and clergy. According to the investigation, 204 citizens have been released so far, the fate of 204 abductees is still unknown.

Western regions

Zakarpattia oblast

The regional military administration said that 41 administrative service centers work in Zakarpattia, helping IDPs and locals.

The SSU claimed that in Zakarpattia four men, offering to cross the border and go to the EU for UAH 15K, were detained.They were notified of the suspicion and a precautionary measure in the form of detention was chosen.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

In Ivano-Frankivsk, the SSU exposed an anti-Ukrainian agitator who was actively spreading russian propaganda on a banned social network. This crime is punishable by up to 5 years in prison with property confiscation.

Lviv oblast

16 423 people crossed the checkpoints in Lviv oblast during the day.

225 IDPs arrived by two evacuation trains in Lviv.

In Lviv oblast, more than 26K children will go to the first grade this year. There are more than 200 IDPs among them.

More than 20K IDPs now live in educational institutions in Lviv oblast.

Ternopil oblast

The city council said that as of June 21, the Ternopil community had received 38 989 internally displaced persons. 11 907 of them stayed in Ternopil for a few days, more than 27K stayed for a long time.

In Ternopil, police detained a 25-year-old man who was wearing clothes with communist symbols and flatly refused to take them off.
