As a result of enemy shelling in Kharkiv, 5 people were killed and 11 wounded. Commercial and residential buildings were shelled. Not a single military facility has been targeted, as reported by the National Police in Kharkiv oblast.

Here is the operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

Towards Volyn and Polissia, no significant changes in the Armed Forces of belarus were recorded. The threat of missile strikes from the territory of this country remains.

Towards Siversk, the enemy continues engineering equipment of borderline areas and mining. They shelled with mortars and artillery Hremiach, Molodivka, Myropillia, Seredyna-Buda, Sumy oblast in Chernihiv oblast.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy conducted air reconnaissance in the vicinity of Cherkaska Lozova, Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova. There was artillery shelling near Chepil,  Kharkiv, Peremoha, Stara Hnylytsya, Stary Saltiv, Rubizhne and Verkhniy Saltiv. MLRSs were used in the areas of Korobochkyne, Kutuzivka and Mospanove settlements.

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy focuses on maintaining previously occupied positions and conducts defensive operations.

There was artillery shelling in the areas of Bohorodychne, Chervone, Dolyna, Dovhenke, Hrushuvakha, Krasnopillia, Petrivske,  Protopopivka, Pryshyb, Karnaukhivka, Vospillia, Velyka Komyshuvakha, and Zavhorodne. The invaders carried out an airstrike near Dibrivne.

Towards Donetsk, the enemy regrouped for further actions towards Bakhmut. In addition, the consolidated units are being formed. Thus, due to significant losses, transformation of two battalion tactical groups from the units of the 5th Combined Arms Army, which lost their combat capability, into one consolidated BTG, was noted. The units of the 1st separate motorized rifle brigade of the 1st Army Corps restore the combat potential.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy did not conduct active hostilities, shelled the positions of our troops with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Donetsk, Mykolaivka, Pryshyb, Starodubivka.

Fighting continues in the city of Sievierodonetsk.

The enemy carried out attacks from tanks and artillery near Hirske, Lysychansk, Myrna Dolyna, Sievierodonetsk and Voronovo.

The enemy’s attempt of a battle reconnaissance towards Metiolkine – Voronovo and Metiolkine – Syrotyne was correctly repelled. The enemy withdrew.

The invaders are entrenched in the settlement of Ustynivka. They are conducting an offensive towards Bila Hora, with partial success. The fighting continues to rage.

Towards Toshkivka – Pidlisne, the enemy captured Myrna Dolyna and Pidlisne, settled on seized positions. They had partial success in the area of Hirske.

Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled the assault towards Vysoke.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy shelled Berestove and Komyshuvakha. They conducted the offensive towards Aleksandropillia – Komyshuvakha. They retreated without any success.

Towards Avdiivka, Novopavlivske and Zaporizhzhia, the enemy did not conduct active operations. They shelled areas near Hostre, Huliaipilske, Krasnohorivka, Novoandriivka and Novosilka.

In the South Buh direction, the enemy fired on the positions of our troops and conducted aerial reconnaissance with UAVs to deplete Ukrainian army personnel and destroy fortifications.

Luxembourg has allocated 15% of its defense budget to support the Ukrainian army. This was announced by Prime Minister Xavier Bethel during a visit to Borodianka destroyed by russian invaders. Later, his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took place. U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland also paid a visit to Ukraine to discuss russia’s war crimes.

Ukraine has returned the bodies of 35 heroes. Among them are 25 defenders of Mariupol. This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories. The exchange with the russian federation of the dead bodies takes place in accordance with the Geneva Convention norms. The fallen Ukrainian heroes will be buried with all military honors.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law on ratification of the Istanbul Convention on Prevention of Violence against Women and Domestic Violence. Ukraine shares European values, life and human health as the highest values, the President added.

“Zero” customs clearance of cars is canceled. The Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill that provides for the return of duties and VAT on imported goods and cars from July 1.

The government is launching a project of grant support for new businesses “eRobota”. These include microgrants up to UAH 250K for those who want to start a new business. The government plans to issue 20K grants a year. Therefore, any Ukrainian who has a business plan and intentions to start their own business can count on the support of the state.

Radio “Chervona Kalyna” was launched in Ukraine, which will broadcast Ukrainian musical culture and history of modern Ukrainians. The broadcast of the project will be filled with both Ukrainian classics and modern music.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops are trying to hold their positions in Kharkiv oblast and prevent the Ukrainian troops from reaching their backline toward Sloviansk. Bazaliivka, Dmytrivka, Chuhuiv, Korobochkyne, Stara Hnylytsia were under russian shelling in the morning. Additionally, russian troops launched artillery strikes in Hrushuvakha and Virnopillia, Izium region.

As of the evening of June 21, the invaders were conducting aerial reconnaissance around liberated villages of Kharkiv oblast, shelling Kharkiv, settlements near Staryy Saltiv, towards Chuhuiv and Izium.

According to the District State Administration, russian invaders are remotely mining Chuhuiv region. Explosive technicians investigate the territory of Chuhuiv.

Russian invaders hit Kharkiv metro infrastructure with a rocket. As a result 1 man was injured. The missile also destroyed a housing and communal college in Kharkiv.

According to volunteers involved in evacuation preparations, around 1,000 people were able to leave the temporarily occupied territories of Kharkiv oblast on June 20. According to Borivske village council, at the same time, russians refused to let men with disability certificates and children over 14 years old through.

Kharkiv was under russian shelling all day. Shelling was recorded in the Industrialnyy district. The fire broke out in an industrial zone in the east of Kharkiv, with some areas suffering power, water and communication issues after explosions.

According to the head of Kharkiv Regional Police Investigation Department, Serhiy Bolvinov, 5 people were killed as a result of shelling in Kharkiv. According to preliminary information, the shelling was carried out from Uragan MLRS. Residential and commercial buildings were damaged. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Siniehubov reported that according to preliminary information, 11 civilians were injured. He also said that an 8-year-old girl was killed and her mother injured as a result of russian shelling in Bezrukiv village, Derhachi region, Kharkiv oblast.

3 people were killed as a result of russian shelling of Udy village, Zolochiv community, Kharkiv oblast.

Chuhuiv city head Halyna Minaieva reported that according to preliminary information, 6 civilians were killed and 4 injured as a result of the shelling of Chuhuiv.

Donetsk oblast

The enemy regrouped for further action toward Bakhmut. In addition, the combined units are being formed.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the night, russian troops destroyed a school in Avdiivka with magnesium-loaded Grad shells. The russian troops continue shelling civilian infrastructure with artillery and aviation in Donbas. 

According to Mariupol mayor’s councillor Petro Andriushchenko, diabetes patients in occupied Mariupol are at risk of death due to a lack of insulin and medical care. There are currently more than a thousand diabetic patients in the city. Every day surgeons perform three to five amputation operations on this category of patients.

On June 20, russian occupation forces shelled 16 settlements in Donetsk. The shelling destroyed 54 civilian facilities, killing 3 people and injuring 2.

As of June 21, 320 settlements in Donetsk remain de-energized due to shelling by russian occupation forces. “Fighting in the region, and consequently large-scale shelling continues. Power lines and electrical equipment are constantly damaged, as are energy companies. The most difficult locations are Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Marinka, Toretsk, Sloviansk,” DTEK company reported.

On June 21, the russians killed 1 Donetsk civilian – in Chasovyy Yar. 19 people were injured today.

Luhansk oblast

An enemy reconnaissance attempt toward Metolkine-Voronove and Metolkine-Syrotyne was skillfully repelled by the Ukrainian troops. The enemy withdrew.

The invaders seized several settlements near Sievierodonetsk. Fighting continues in Sievierodonetsk itself. According to Serhiy Hayday, head of Luhansk oblast, the russians captured Toshkivka with a powerful attack of heavy equipment (more than a battalion and a half of a tactical group). Despite this, the Ukrainian troops are holding their ground and are not afraid of being encircled in Luhansk oblast. The General Staff added that the enemy captured Pidlisne and Myrna Dolyna settlements and is gaining a foothold in Ustynivka and has partial success in Hirske.

Constant shelling of all unoccupied settlements continues, with orcs attempting to surround the Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway, but there is no success.

Near Lysychansk, the enemy manages to hold back, the city is shelled with enemy missiles, destroying the populated area.

Over the past 24 hours, the russians increased the amount of shelling, and enemy aviation was constantly working. Assaults were repelled in Syrotyne and Bila Hora. Fighting continues in the Severodonetsk industrial zone, and many buildings at the Azot plant were damaged.

The already destroyed bridges between Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk were shelled again. The last suffered the most damage. The survey of the areas began in the morning, but shelling is back again. 1 body was found and 1 woman was injured. This is not the final data.

Dozens of private houses, apartment buildings and administration buildings were damaged. Orcs also caused serious damage to Hirske community, about 20 houses were damaged.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

The Prime Minister of Louxemburg Xavier Bettel visited Borodianka, Bucha, and Irpin. During his visit, he had a chance to communicate with local and regional authorities, as well as with the residents who told him about the atrocities committed by the russian army. The prime minister was extremely shocked by what he saw and heard.

Yesterday the head of the National Police Ihor Klymenko met with a Polish delegation headed by Jaroslav Szymczyk, the Chief Commandant of the Police of Poland. The parties held a meeting, a briefing with heads of operational and investigation units, and visited Kyiv oblast settlements most affected by the russian aggression, specifically Irpin and Bucha.

The chiefs of the Ukrainian and Polish police have discussed bilateral cooperation and help to the National Police in countering the russian armed aggression. The training for Ukrainian police officers will soon begin at the Polish Police Academy in Szczytno.

Taiwan will provide financial aid for reconstruction of Bucha. This was announced during an online meeting between Bucha Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk and Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Joseph Wu. Apart from Bucha, financial and material aid will be used to restore Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Odesa, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia.

Former Kyiv city mayor Leonid Chernovetskyi has been given a notice of suspicion for public calls to change territorial and state borders of Ukraine, informed the Office of the Prosecutor General. On his Facebook page, the ex-mayor called to recognize the borders of illegal terrorist formations DPR and LPR. A pre-trial investigation is underway.

Almost 44K explosive objects have already been cleared in Kyiv oblast, reports the Regional Military Administration. As of June 20, demining was carried out in the settlements of Bucha, Brovary, and Vyshhorod regions of the oblast. The team inspected 109.99 hectares of territory, 2 km of roads, and 6 objects. A total of 275 explosive devices were found and neutralized.

Rescuers of Bila Tserkva region organized the activities for residents of Tetiiv territorial community to raise awareness regarding water safety in summer. Specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine informed the locals about safety precautions on water bodies in the summer season.

In Kyiv, K9 officers of the National Police held training on searching for explosives, weapons, and ammunition. This time specialists and their four-legged pets practiced the exercises on searching for prohibited objects in vehicles, in the building as well as in the area surrounding it.

Six administrative service centers of Kyiv oblast affected by russian aggression have received computer hardware and software from PROSTO project “Support to services availability in Ukraine”, informs Kyiv Regional Military Administration. Representatives of the project visited administrative service centers in Boyarka, Bucha and Byshiv, Hostomel communities.

56 administrative service centers, one territorial unit, and 109 remote workplaces are already operating in the region. Administrative service centers in Irpin, Borodianka, and Polissis town councils have partially resumed their work.

A three-day marathon of cultural events “Mariupol: Art vs War” will take place in Kyiv from the 22nd till the 24th of June. The cultural marathon will consist of five thematic exhibitions dedicated to the city of Maria and will include pieces created by Mariupol photographers as well as eyewitnesses of the hostilities in Mariupol. Visitors can attend themed exhibitions, meetings, workshops, film screenings, a virtual tour, a concert, and other events.

More than three thousand Kyiv residents attended the first horse race of the summer season at the Kyiv race track. The race tracking team continues working during the martial law and henceforth will arrange regular horse races. Apart from the horse races, there will be plenty of activities for children and their parents.

Zhytomyr oblast

5.6 million hryvnias were allocated to Zhytomyr oblast from the state budget to cover the costs of accommodation for displaced people in communal establishments. As of June 14, 2022, there were 3088 displaced families in the oblast including 567 families with many children.

The National Police reports that they detained an ammunition trafficker in Ovruch. A man tried to sell around a hundred rounds for a Kalashnikov assault rifle and asked a potential buyer for 800 hryvnias. Pre-trial investigation is in progress.

Agricultural producers in Zhytomyr oblast continue to prepare for the harvest season. Harvesting is expected to start at the end of the third decade of June in the southern part of Zhytomyr oblast and in the middle of the first decade of July in the northern part of the oblast. 

Quadcopters were bought using funds from a local budget and sent to the AFU in Zhytomyr oblast.

Sumy oblast

The State Traffic Police of Ukraine reports that during June 20, rashists fired with mortars, artillery and MLRS the border regions of Sumy oblast from their territory. Border guards recorded more than 110 explosions on Ukrainian territory. Several forest areas were set on fire due to the shelling. At noon, two enemy drones dropped four explosive devices on the Yunakiv community territory, one person was killed and one injured.

According to the Sumy RMA, Bilopillya, Seredino-Budsk, Velykopysariv and Znob-Novgorod communities came under fire. There are no casualties or damage.

Since the beginning of the war, 251 people have been considered missing in Sumy oblast. 92 are civilians and 159 are military among them. At the moment, 8 people are wanted alive (2 military and 6 civilians), 27 have been declared dead (13 civilians and 14 military). The fate of 197 people (66 civilians and 131 military) is still unknown.

The head of the Sumy RMA Dmytro Zhyvytskyi Work announced that work is under way to create a single registry and algorithm to speed up the process of searching for missing people. He also advised where to go and how to report a missing person.

The required number of Starlink satellite Internet equipment for the military was provided by Sumy RMA. Military units, performing tasks to protect Sumy oblast, are now provided with high-quality and reliable communication.

Chernihiv oblast

As of the morning of June 21, the SES of Chernihiv oblast provided information that during the day the pyrotechnic and underwater demining teams of the SES was involved in the disposal of explosive devices 28 times. 103 items were found and seized. A total of 28 623 explosive devices have been seized since the beginning of hostilities. Demining of the territory of the region continues.

Priority works on restoration of the damaged infrastructure of the region are underway: repair and replacement of windows in Chernihiv Regional Psychoneurological Hospital; repair works at Chernihivvodokanal facilities; dismantling damaged windows and frames at boiler houses of Oblteplokomunenergo JSC; restoration of highways in major directions of traffic.

A “VR-museum of war memory” has been established in Chernihiv oblast. Using 3D tours, visitors will be able to get into a terrible reality and see what the war has done with one of the most popular places for recreation and tourism. You can virtually visit the cult hotel “Ukraine”, a century-old gazebo in the Boldy Mountains, libraries, regional historical museums and many other buildings in Chernihiv and the region.

The international organization “Global Empowerment Mission” (GEM) together with the “Life Quality fund” visited Chernihiv oblast. The foundation representatives inspected the extent of the destruction caused by the hostilities in Chernihiv. With the support of GEM, the city school #19 will be rebuilt. Philanthropists also distributed about 200 food kits to the affected residents of the Bobrovytsia district.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council Mykola Lukashuk informed that the night before, enemy shelled outskirts of the village Maryanske, Kryvyi Rih district. There are no victims. The enemy hit fields and damaged power lines. The settlement partially does not have a power supply. As a result of shelling, dry grass caught on fire and the fire was extinguished. Also at night, russian occupiers hit village Velyka Kostroma. There are no victims.

Russian troops fired at Shyrokiv community with multiple rocket launchers. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine informed about a large-scale fire in the 2.5 hectares area: grass and reeds caught on fire. Rescuers put down fire and prevented fire from spreading in the private sector. The enemy also hit residential buildings. After shelling, a cluster munition was found on the roof of one of the buildings. The exact number of damaged households is currently being  clarified, said the head of Dnipropetrovsk regional council Mykola Lukashuk.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region

The head of Dnipropetrovsk regional council Mykola Lukashuk informed that since the beginning of the full-scale war, Dnipropetrovsk oblast welcomed hundreds of thousands of internally displaced persons. Currently more than 268K registered internally displaced persons live in the region. Most of them live in Dnipro city (112.6K people) and in Kryvyi Rih (49.5K people).

9-year-old Sviatoslav Kuzhman from Dnipro collected more than 3K hryvnias in three days for the Armed Forces of Ukraine needs by selling his own toys and toys of his brothers and sisters. The mother did not know about her son’s deed because at that time she was in the West of Ukraine. The boy met with volunteers who organized meeting with the military to personally give them delicacies. Sviatoslav plans to continue fundraising.

Kirovograd oblast

Kirovohrad Regional State Administration together with Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko opened “YaMariupol” Center in Kropyvnytskyi. People will be able to get all necessary administrative and social services in the Central Administration Service, and even more help in the office. Mariupol exists, lives and continues to fight!

A training seminar for baseball players held in Kropyvnytskyi. About UAH 10K was collected for the Ukrainian army, said  Volodymyr Kovalyov, Vice President of the Baseball and Softball Federation of Ukraine.

Poltava oblast

Poltava district police officers are checking 25 citizens for involvement in cooperation with the enemy. This was announced by Poltava Regional Police Chief Yevhen Rohachov. The police note that conscious, voluntary and deliberate cooperation with the enemy in their interests and to the detriment of the state leads to different types of punishment depending on severity of criminal offense committed by the collaborator. At the initiative of representatives of the Poltava office of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory and the public organization “Decommunization. Ukraine “, a monument to one of the leading communism ideologists, writer Maxim Gorky was dismantled in the village of Kryachkivka, Lubny district. Three of five monuments to Gorky in the region are to be dismantled.

Vinnytsia oblast

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov  visited Vinnytsia oblast. In the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Central Region and in the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he awarded medics and air defense forces with state awards and firearms.12 volunteers from Vinnytsia also were awarded. The Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, the Commander of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Tetyana Ostashchenko and local authorities accompanied the Minister of Defense. 

Vinnytsia community discussed the idea of creating the mural dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Hryhoriy Skovoroda birthday. The head of the public organization “Labaratotiya suchasnoi tvorchosti” Oleksandr Nikityuk informed that there are no memorials related with Hryhoriy Skovoroda in Vinnytsia yet. Meanwhile, the occupiers destroyed the Skovoroda Museum. Ukrainian culture has been threatened by invaders. Volunteers of the public organization “Novyi Acropol”, the head of the public organization “Laboratoriya suchasnoho mystetstva”, representatives of the Art Museum and the City Council took part in the discussion.

Vinnytsia City Council reported that it has been the third week of “Free Ukrainian” classes in Vinnytsia. There were many people willing to attend. So 10 groups were created. During the classes, participants check mistakes in advertising, study tongue twisters and analyze Ukrainian songs.

Vinnytsia police are checking a civilian woman documenting military equipment on her own phone. The National Police reported that they noticed a woman recording a video of military equipment at Zhmerynka railway station. While checking the gadget, police officers found the video files with the railway infrastructure and movement of Ukrainian military equipment. The collected video materials were sent to the telegram channel. Currently, the woman was handed over to the relevant special services.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The police received almost 30 reports of armed crimes against civilians by russian servicemen over the past day. The applicants reported the consequences of shelling of their homes in the settlements of Huliaipole and Orikhiv territorial communities.

Two people tripped enemy mines which exploded when trying to escape from the occupied territory. According to the investigation, the russian servicemen, in violation of the Geneva Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons, mined a field and a dirt road near the village of Mala Tokmachka, Pologiv district.

More than 38K consumers in 100 settlements of Zaporizhzhia oblast do not have power supply. Unfortunately, due to active hostilities, there are new damages. So, in the morning more than 16 thousand families of Orikhiv district were left without power supply.

Residents of the villages of Kamyanske and Plavni in Zaporizhzhia oblast received more than 4 tons of water, Zaporizhzhia RMA reported. About 400 people now live in the settlements that are under constant enemy fire. Civil infrastructure facilities are almost destroyed. There is no centralized water supply.

The bodies of dead servicemen were exchanged in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Ukraine has returned the bodies of 35 defenders.

Enerhodar mayor Dmitry Orlov informed that russians released from captivity Vitaly Troyan, head of the fire department of the temporarily occupied Enerhodar

Representatives of the occupation administration are selling “special passes” and demanding money from the car drivers while crossing checkpoints in the temporarily occupied Melitopol. The mayor Ivan Fedorov reported about it on air of the National telemarathon.

On June 18, Olena Fedorets, head of the Melitopol City Museum of Local Lore, was abducted in the occupied Melitopol. This was reported by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center. The woman was allegedly abducted by FSB officers. There is currently no information on the woman’s whereabouts.

Mykolaiv oblast

The situation in the south of Ukraine is complex, but controlled. 

A fire broke out in a house and dry grass in the estuaries after enemy attacks in Lymany, Halytsyn community. There are no victims. The Pervomaisk community was also shelled at night. According to preliminary information, there are no victims, but the buildings were significantly damaged.

In the morning, the russian army again launched a strike on Mykolaiv and its suburbs. The information on destruction and victims is being clarified.

The shelling continues in Bereznehuvatsky community. Last night and this morning, russian troops fired on the Shyrokiv community. According to preliminary information, there are no victims, information on injuries is being clarified. 

4 X-31A missiles from an enemy fighter and 1 Onyx missile from the coastal missile complex were aimed at Ochakiv and hit agricultural land in the suburbs.

Last night, civilians were killed and injured in shelling by the occupiers in Ochakiv and the village of Lepetykha. The final information on the damage is being clarified. Law enforcement officers record all the circumstances and consequences of war crimes. The Police of Mykolaiv Oblast reports about it.

Odesa oblast

A concentrated strike was inflicted on Zmiinyi (Snake) Island. As a result, the enemy suffered significant losses. The ‘South’ Operational Command reports that the military operation continues and requires secrecy until its completion. 

Yesterday, the enemy carried out a massive missile attack in the south of Ukraine, in particular 9 “Onyxes” hit Odesa oblast. In Bilhorod-Dnister district, there were strikes near a cemetery and an industrial infrastructure facility. In the Danube Delta, residential buildings on the islands were damaged. There are no casualties. In Odesa, one civilian security guard was killed as a result of hit at logistics warehouse.

The enemy’s naval group in the northwestern part of the Black Sea currently consists of 5 ships, 1 submarine, and 4 VDK. The rest of the fleet, contrary to the fakes of hostile propaganda, is at the base.

Kherson oblast

Russian troops continue firing on Kherson oblast, including weapons prohibited by international conventions. The situation in the region is extremely difficult. Especially in the settlements located near Snihurivka, Zelenodolska community and on the border with Mykolayiv region. The situation with restoration of power and water in the villages of Beryslav district remains critical.

Ukrainian units continue to push the enemy to the east. They managed to push russian troops beyond the second and third lines of defense reinforced with concrete structures. This was announced by Natalia Humeniuk, head of the press center of the Defense and Security Forces of the South Operational Command.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an airstrike at the enemy manpower and military equipment using two helicopters. Missile and artillery units completed more than 100 fire missions. The losses suffered by the russian army reached 26 people. A tank, a multi-purpose armored truck, 3 armored and 4 trucks were destroyed. 

Residents of Kherson oblast organized the Resistance Movement. In many settlements of the region blue and yellow ribbons, patriotic graffiti and postcards may be seen. The posters with such slogans as “Ukrainian army is close!” and “Kherson will be released!” can be seen in the region.

Kherson law enforcement officers have recorded the abduction or disappearance of 408 people since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine. This was reported by Suspilne Media with reference to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation is aware of release of 259 citizens; 149 people are still in captivity.

The russian military abducted Volodymyr Zheludenko, former head of the Stanislavsky territorial community and Serhiy Smutchenko, his deputy. This was announced by Serhiy Khlan, chairman’s adviser, on his Facebook page.

The Office of the General Prosecutor reported that four Ukrainian citizens were suspected of collaboration. According to the investigation, from March to May 2022, four people in the occupied Kherson voluntarily agreed to collaborate with the Russian authorities. The suspects selected candidates and employees for the pseudo-law enforcement body, organized and guarded meetings held by the occupation administration, and illegally detained citizens.

Western regions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions has not changed significantly. The border with belarus has been guarded. In case of provocations of the Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense and volunteer units are ready for decisive actions.

Volyn

In Lutsk, UAH 325 688 were raised during the Dad Fest festival for rehabilitation of children of fallen servicemen.

Zakarpattia oblast

The Regional Military Administration reported that local residents, who sheltered IDPs for free, in May will receive over UAH 5 million in compensation for utility costs. 12.6K IDPs have so far found refuge in Zakarpattia oblast.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

More than 340K people transited through Khmelnytskyi oblast during the war. 147K victims of the war found refuge here. 152 children from the regions where battle continues to rage found shelter here. They live in family-type homes, foster families and families of guardians and trustees.

49 enterprises have moved their production facilities to Khmelnytskyi oblast, 28 of them are already operating.

Lviv oblast

16 441 people crossed the checkpoints in Lviv oblast during the day.

208 IDPs arrived by two evacuation trains in Lviv, including 5 children who were evacuated from battlefields. Evacuated preschool children are up to 3 years old. 743 children have found shelter in 21 institutions in Lviv oblast, including 468 orphans and children deprived of parental care.

The Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office and the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that under the guise of humanitarian aid to the Armed Forces, some men tried to transport computer equipment, phones, shoes and clothes of famous brands. The confiscated property was seized. According to preliminary data, the total value of the seized goods is approximately UAH 70 million.

In Lviv oblast, the condition of shelters in schools is being inspected. A meeting of representatives of the Lviv Regional State Administration with the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast was recently held, during which the issues of shelter readiness at educational institutions were discussed.

Rivne oblast

Volunteers in Rivne held a charity dance event with fifty children involved. UAH 10K were collected during the action. Along with humanitarian aid, the blue and yellow flag and children’s patriotic drawings will be handed over to the front line.

The Regional Military Administration reported that in Rivne oblast a mobile hospital with the capacity of 400 patients was established.

Ternopil oblast

The Coordination Center for Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the Football Association of Ternopil Region held a charity football match between the teams of FC Zbruch and FC Stars of Ternopil Football took place in Husiatyn. UAH 61 136 raised during the match will be donated to the Armed Forces.

International support

The Ukrainian Charitable Foundation “Angels of Ukraine” and the French association Collectif Pays de Redon pour l’Ukraine delivered hospital beds to medical institutions of Horodok and Kamianka-Buzka communities. It has increased the number of patients who can be admitted.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov reported that Ukraine received the sixth type of 155-mm artillery German howitzers PzH 2000. The Ukrainian military has already learned to use them.

 

The Government of Germany published a list of weapons being prepared for transfer to Ukraine. 10K artillery shells, 53K anti-aircraft shells, 5.8 million rounds of ammunition for small arms, as well as 5K protective helmets will be shipped. Military equipment also includes 7 Panzerhaubitzen 2000 anti-aircraft guns, 10 armored vehicles, a COBRA anti-battery system and 3 MARS multiple rocket launchers.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the participants of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. In his speech, the head of state drew attention to the fact that Ukraine is fighting for freedom for the whole democratic world.

The Prime Ministers Justin Trudeau and Mark Rutte said that Canada and Netherlands will help restore Ukraine after the victory over russia.

The Government of Canada is preparing a law ratifying confiscation of sanctioned russian assets in favor of Ukraine.

The Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto stated that Hungary offered to allow any food shipments from Ukraine to other parts of the world to pass through Hungarian territory.

The Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel arrived in Kyiv and visited Borodyanka destroyed by the russian army.

Taiwanese authorities have promised to finance the reconstruction of Bucha in Kyiv oblast. Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Odesa, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia will also receive financial assistance from Taiwan for reconstruction.

The Polish President Andrzej Duda announced that member states of the Trimor (12 EU countries) have granted Ukraine the partner status.

The Verkhovna Rada ratified the Agreement on the Abolition of Import Duties and Tariff Quotas in Bilateral Trade between Ukraine and the United Kingdom. This agreement will be valid for at least the next year.

In the UK, all accredited russian diplomats and officials have been banned from visiting parliament. The ban was imposed due to the russian invasion of Ukraine.

Unexpectedly, US Attorney General Merrick Garland arrived in the Ukrainian capital. He plans to meet Ukrainian Prosecutor General Venediktova and discuss the investigation of russian war crimes.
