Operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The aggressor continues to carry out missile and air strikes on the territory of our state.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, units of the Armed Forces of belarus are fortifying the area in Gomel oblast and conducting electronic reconnaissance near the belarusian-Ukrainian border.

Towards Siversk, units of the russian armed forces continue fortifying their positions in the border areas of Kursk oblast. The air defense system is enhanced on the territory of Bryansk oblast.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy intensively shelled the positions of our troops with barrel and rocket artillery. The battle reconnaissance was also conducted in the area of Rubizhne, but with no success.

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy did not conduct active actions. The main efforts of the enemy focus on buildup of resources for the further offensive towards Sloviansk.

No active actions were recorded towards Lyman.

Towards Sievierodonetsk, the enemy conducts 24-hour aerial reconnaissance using the Orlan-10 UAV. There are also assault actions aimed to establish full control over the city. Fighting continues, yet with no success.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy carried out helicopter airstrikes near Yakovlivka and missile strikes in the areas of Travneve, Dolomitne, Zaitseve and New York.

On the eastern outskirts of the village of Berestovo, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled an enemy assault.

Towards Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlivske and Zaporizhzhia, there were no active hostilities. Towards Avdiivka, the artillery shelling of our positions intensified.

In the South Buh direction, the enemy shelled peaceful settlements of Belousove, Kniazivka, Luparevo, Lymany, Nova Zoria, Novohryhorivka, Osokorivka, Tavriia, Topolyne, Velyka Kostromka. The enemy enhances fortification of the first and second defense lines.

Russian invaders are enhancing the air defense system in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson oblast.

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict significant losses on enemy troops and steadfastly keep the defense in all directions.

Azov Regiment commanders, captured in Mariupol, are now in Lefortovo detention center in Moscow. The russian media and a source in law enforcement agencies of russia reported about this.

The Ministry of Infrastructure pledges that by autumn, Ukraine will solve the issue of fuel shortages. By this time, Kyiv must sign longer-term contracts with foreign suppliers.

Ukraine bans music of russian authors and performers in the media and public places. The relevant draft law was supported by the Verkhovna Rada. They also banned import of books from russia and belarus.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

On 19 June, the enemy intensively shelled our troops’ positions with artillery and rocket launchers. The enemy conducted a reconnaissance battle near Rubizhne settlement without any success. The enemy also carried out air strikes with Ka-52 helicopters near Yakovlivka.

According to Viktor Kovalenko, the head of Zolochiv community, on the morning of 19 June, russian invaders shelled Baranivka village, Zolochiv community. A barn and other outbuildings were destroyed. There were no casualties.

In the past 24 hours, Kharkiv police officers processed 1 298 reports of violations.

Donetsk oblast

The main efforts of the enemy are concentrated on accumulation of resources with a view to a further offensive towards Sloviansk city. The enemy shelled our troops’ positions and conducted aerial reconnaissance by Orlan-10 UAVs. The enemy also launched missile strikes near Dolomitne, New York, Travneve, Zaytseve settlements.

According to Vasyl Chynchyk, head of the Toretsk City Military Administration, residents came under fire during another water delivery to Zalizne city. As a result, an employee of the enterprise lost 3 fingers, a woman born in 1986 got a hip injury and a girl born in 2013 got a forearm injury.

Personnel of the Main Department delivered water to:

  • Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk cities, Kramatorsk regions,
  • Bakhmut, Siversk, Toretsk cities;
  • Bilytske, Kotlyne village, Krasnohorivka, Pokrovsk, Selydove cities, namely:
  •  potable water in the amount of 93 cubic meters;
  •  technical water in the amount of 50 cubic meters.

The Main Department involved 51 personnel and 13 equipment units.

Luhansk oblast

According to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Hayday, the worst military situation in Ukraine is in Luhansk oblast. Heavy fighting continues in Sievierodonetsk. The orcs are trying to gain full control over the city, but they fail and suffer numerous losses. The russians tried to advance near Toshkivka and even succeeded, but after the work of our artillery, the invaders were defeated. Lysychansk is under Ukrainian control, but the city is under constant Rashist shelling. “Quiet” evacuations continue, with humanitarian cargo being delivered daily.

The bodies of 2 men killed by russian troops’ shelling were found in Lysychansk over the past day and a half. The buildings across the city are badly damaged.

According to the evening update of the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is conducting round-the-clock aerial reconnaissance by Orlan-10 UAVs toward Sievierodonetsk.

Despite Luhansk oblast, suffering airstrikes and artillery shells from the russian invaders, rescuers managed to evacuate 19 civilians from the war zone in Lysychansk.

Along with the evacuation vehicles, civilians left in their own vehicles. The evacuation convoy has now reached a safe city in the Donetsk oblast.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

The air defense system hit an enemy aerial object in Vyshhorod region this morning. No smoke has been detected, there are no fires and no casualties,” said Oleksiy Kuleba, head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration. National Police units and other services are working at the site.

Residents of Kyiv oblast are urged not to violate the curfew. The military police together with the regular police will be patrolling the streets to ensure the safety of Kyiv oblast at night,” Oleksiy Kuleba pointed out. The curfew lasts from 23:00 to 05:00.

On June 18, explosive ordnance was inspected and cleared in the settlements of Bila Tserkva, Bucha, Brovary, Vyshhorod, regions, informs Kyiv Regional Military Administration. Demining in Kyiv oblast continues.

In Bila Tserkva region, the control over compliance with the temporary ban on access to the water has been increased. During martial law, it is strictly forbidden to swim and stay under bridges and near critical infrastructure facilities.

In Kyiv oblast, border guards stopped a man who was planning to sign a contract with the AFU in order to defect to the enemy. It was evident from the correspondence with russian citizens found on his phone. Not even a patriotic T-shirt, which the fan of the “russian world” wore, saved him, reports the State Border Service of Ukraine.

Residents of Kyiv oblast from the territories that were occupied by the rashists are offered to have their houses checked for radiation. Specialists of the State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety will conduct such an inspection, given that russian army vehicles invaded Ukraine starting from the exclusion zone.

Kyiv oblast begins active preparations for the autumn-winter season, reports Kyiv oblast administration. Headquarters will be formed under district military administrations to oversee this process on the ground.

Starting from June 20, traffic on the Metro and Paton bridges in Kyiv will resume, announced the city mayor Vitaliy Klytschko. During active combat operations near Kyiv, vehicle movement on the bridges over the Dnipro River was restricted. The traffic on Kyiv’s North and South bridges resumed in the first half of April.

In Kyiv, relatives of the Azov regiment fighters commemorated the fallen defenders of Mariupol. Fifty-five Ukrainian flags with callsigns and death dates of Ukrainian servicemen were placed on Maidan Nezalezhnosti square. After the battles for Mariupol, more than 2 500 Ukrainian fighters from the Azovstal plant were captured by russians. On June 15, another 64 bodies of fallen Mariupol defenders arrived in Kyiv as part of the exchange.

200K Ukrainians participated in renaming Kyiv streets in the Kyiv Digital app. It is the last day of voting. It is suggested to rename Volhohradska street in Solomenskyi district after Roman Ratushnyi, a hero and Kyiv activist who was killed in action.

The Academic Council of the Petro Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music held a meeting to discuss whether to keep the name of the academy. Council members refer to Ukrainian roots of the world-famous composer, who was one of founders of the Kyiv Conservatory and created a large part of his works in Ukraine and under the influence of Ukrainian folk music. However, part of the staff and 75% of the academy’s students believe that the institution should not be named after Tchaikovsky.

Zhytomyr oblast

Mined forests of Zhytomyr region have endangered the season of picking berries and mushrooms, which northern regions are rich in. Residents are asked to avoid hiking in the woods without military permission. You can visit only those areas that have already been de-mined. The enemy left occupied territories of Zhytomyr oblast in early April, but it will take more than a year to demine the territory of the region.

The Zhytomyr Military Administration congratulated all those holding the agricultural front on Farmer’s Day. Despite the russian aggression this spring, more than 373K hectares of various crops were sown in Zhytomyr oblast. The enemy destroyed part of the premises of agricultural enterprises, damaged elevators, mined fields, but, nevertheless, farmers of Zhytomyr oblast take care about food security in Ukraine and the world.

Sumy oblast

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine states that the border town of Sumy oblast was fired twice this night. The enemy shelling caused fire and destruction of private houses. Several explosions were recorded in the area of the local checkpoint, which has not been operating for a long time.

At dawn, enemy mines flew towards one of the villages of Shostka district. The shelling was carried out from the territory of russia. There were no casualties as a result of shelling. The information is being clarified.

The head of the Sumy RMA Dmitry Zhyvytsky shares the news in his Telegram channel that residential areas of the city of Seredyna-Buda were fired with mortars. At least 10 private houses and outbuildings were damaged. One house was destroyed by fire as a result of the enemy munitions hit.

According to the Sumy regional prosecutor’s office, a woman was injured in the mortar shelling of the town of Seredyna-Buda in Sumy oblast. A pre-trial investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war is underway.

The regional department of the SBGS states that two russians were seized by the border guards of Sumy oblast. The foreigners, who illegally crossed the russian-Ukraine border, have been detained to find out all circumstances of the offense. The court will rule out their future fate. The Border Guard Services of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense Forces of the region provide reliable protection of our state borders.

In Sumy oblast, police detained a man who put forbidden symbols Z and V on his apartment. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine claims that law enforcement officers continue systematic work to identify saboteurs in Ukraine. About 100 sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG) have already been detained throughout Ukraine. In June, police detained almost 30 saboteurs in Ukraine, 11 of them in Kyiv.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

In the morning, a fuel tank exploded in Novomoskovsk, where three russian missiles destroyed an oil depot the day before. 14 people were injured. 2 people were killed, one of them was a rescuer.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration Valentyna Reznichenko informed that there are 8 injured people in the region’s hospitals after the missile strike: 7 of them are moderately wounded, one patient is seriously injured.

The enemy again shelled the border areas of Apostolovo and Zelenodolsk communities. Fortunately, there are no victims and no destruction.

Furthermore, russian troops shelled an area near the village Pershe Travnia  with the Uragan MRL system. The enemy hit fields.

There was fighting between units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and enemy forces in Kherson oblast near Kryvyi Rih district.

Vinytsia oblast

Thanks to the charity organization “BEforUkraine” and volunteer center “Myloserdya ta Zdorovya”, a fully equipped highest “C” class ambulance was shipped to Vinnytsia from Belgium. It is possible to safely transport seriously ill patients and resuscitate them in this ambulance vehicle. The ambulance vehicle is equipped with a modern ventilator, defibrillator, electrocardiograph, dosing device, stretcher, etc.

Vinnytsia also received humanitarian aid from France for military and doctors.These are elastic bandages, bandages, crutches, surgical masks, blood pressure monitors, medications for treatment burns etc. The cargo part was immediately sent to the border guards. The rest will be transferred to cities in need.  First Deputy Head of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration Natalia Zabolotna informed that there is a shortage of turnstiles, hemostatic drugs and some male hygiene products.

Poltava oblast

Training shootings took place in Komyshnianska community of Myrhorod region. Dmytro Lunin, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, warned about the possibility of gunshots or explosions.

Poltava police reported that a handmade tripwire mine was found at the gates of the house in Lokhvytsia. Given the high probability of enemy provocations and creation of explosive traps  by saboteurs and supporters of the enemy, the police urges citizens to strictly adhere to safety rules. They also remind that mines, tripwire mines and other explosive devices can be  found in settlements and as well as in fields, forests or on roadsides.

Poltava oblast might introduce the Spanish telemedicine system. During a meeting with the team of the Spanish platform “Help to Ukraine”, volunteers handed over several “Homedoctor ” telemedicine boxes to try them out. This device allows the doctor and the patient to conduct basic tests remotely: measure temperature, pressure, saturation, ECG, examine ears, throat, nose, skin and it is suitable for residents of remote areas.

INTERSOS humanitarian organization delivered humanitarian aid to Hradizk, Kremenchuk, Reshetylivka, Varvarivka. The aid included hygiene products and household chemicals for the centers of internally displaced people accommodation. Individual family kits were also provided to internally displaced persons in Mashivka.The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Dmitry Lunin reported that IDPs in Poltava oblast have received 500 such family kits in total.

Kirovohrad oblast

Kirovohrad Regional State Administration stated that 23 industrial enterprises from the war-affected regions relocated to Kirovohrad oblast. Representatives of 21 enterprises are interested in relocation and they are searching for production areas now.

Billboards  in support of the temporarily occupied Kherson were placed in Kropyvnytskyi. 2600 UAH from the city budget were spent on printing.  “We have been contacted by the Kherson City Council, which is trying to launch an information campaign on the territory of Ukraine free from occupation, reminding that Kherson is Ukraine. Kherson residents are waiting for the Armed Forces and liberation of the city from russian occupiers,” said Svitlana Steshenko.

An exhibition of nine paintings by artists from Alexandria  called “Into the Future through the Past” was held at the Eduardo Urculo Art Center in Madrid, Spain.

Southern regions

Kherson Oblast

The enemy fired on Ukrainian artillery and jet artillery in the areas of Blagodatne, Pravdyne, Posad-Pokrovske. The russian army conducted air reconnaissance of the positions of Ukrainian troops using UAVs in the area of ​​the settlement of Tavriyske.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units and the aircraft carried out 4 air attacks. Three helicopters attacked the buildup of enemy troops in the Kherson region, attack aircraft –  the buildup of enemy manpower and equipment in the area of ​​Davydov Brod and Snihurivka, and a fighter – the ammunition in the Belozirsky community of Kherson oblast.

The total losses of the enemy are currently confirmed in the amount of 28 people, one T-62 tank, radar station, tanker and other vehicles.

The situation remains tense in Kherson, Kherson RMA informed. The mobile connection is completely lost. The Internet is partially operational. There are issues with cash withdrawals and banking services. The humanitarian situation is stable. There were no power outages.  There is gas and power supply. Food products can be found in the stores. Medicines are available, but their quality and cost are now much lower.

The occupiers seized a database of debtors of Ukrainian banks and began to transfer them to russian ones in Kherson oblast. This was reported by the Strategic Communications Department of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The russian occupiers continue to commit crimes against the local population. A citizen Iryna Skopichenko was illegally detained in the temporarily occupied Henichesk. The russian military also killed a SES officer who was inspecting the site of an explosion in Skadovsk. According to the mayor Alexander Yakovlev, he was taken away from home by occupiers after work. Late in the evening, the man was found dead and taken to the Skadovsk hospital.

Mykolaiv oblast

The enemy attacked Mykolaiv with missiles two times. A double blow of X-55 missiles was inflicted on the industrial infrastructure yesterday afternoon, and in the evening – a second blow with 5 “Caliber” from Kherson oblast. 1 missile was destroyed by the Ukrainian military from a portable anti-aircraft missile system. Two rockets hit a plastic window factory, another hit a house, and the next hit a sausage craft.

The shelling continues in Bereznehuvatska and Halytsynivska communities. The information on casualties and injuries is being clarified. Yesterday, after shelling of the village of Zasillya in Pervomaisk community, one person was seriously injured.

Nine fires were registered in Mykolaiv oblast, two of them occurred as a result of the enemy attack. As a result of hostilities due to ammunition and their wreckage, two fires were put down at facilities in Mykolayiv, with an area of ​​250 and 140 square meters. The Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv Oblast reported about it.

Odesa oblast

Odesa oblast was attacked at night by two Onyx missiles fired by russian troops from a coastal missile complex in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Air defense forces damaged the missiles.

According to the “South” Operational Command, the enemy is trying to destroy the infrastructure of regions where there is no fighting, to put psychological pressure on the population and undermine the economic and strategic reserves of the state.

Currently, 2 surface-to-air missile ships and 3 submarines with 28 “Caliber” missiles are ready for a strike in the Black Sea. There are 3 VDK on execution of combat missions.

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The operational situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction has not changed significantly. The enemy focused its main efforts on regrouping its own forces and means, maintaining previously occupied territories, firing on the positions of our troops, and dispersing its forces in order to avoid fire on the part of our troops.

Along the entire line of contact, the enemy continues to shell the positions of Ukrainian defenders and civilian infrastructure, using aircraft, artillery and jet artillery.

Russian troops continue to concentrate military equipment and personnel in certain areas, presumably preparing for active hostilities.

There is an accumulation of enemy military equipment on the territory of two enterprises in  Dniprorudne (Vasylivskyi region). The enemy unloaded a significant amount of large-caliber weapons and ammunition for it on the territory of the military registration and enlistment office in Vasylivka. The arrival of military equipment was recorded in the settlement of Pryshyb (Vasylivskyi district). In addition, an increase in the number of columns of enemy equipment from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in the direction of Melitopol was recorded during the day.

Russian troops continue to strike civilian infrastructure and peaceful households. They fired at Huliaipole and the villages of Chervone and Novodanylivka. The number of such shelling has doubled.

There were also 32 shellings of positions of units of Ukrainian troops along the line of contact from the entire spectrum of weapons in the area of ​​settlements: Chervone, Kamyanske, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novopil, Novoselivka, Olhivske, Orikhiv, Poltavka, Temyrivka, Zaliznychne,  Zelene Pole.

Mala Tokmachka was fired upon by the enemy with “Grad” MLRS. Fighting clashes with enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups took place near the settlements of Neskuchne and Olhivske.

Soldiers of the Defense Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction eliminated 31 people, wounded 43, destroyed 2 tanks, 2 armored combat vehicles, including 1 unit. “Tiger” BBM, 1 ‘Grad’ MLRS would be 3 units of vehicles, 2 mortars.

Almost 22K consumers are left without power supply in 80 settlements of Zaporizhzhia oblast due to damage to power lines. Yesterday power supply was restored to 7K families in Berdyansk and Polohy.

One of the transformer substations of the Polohy district branch was destroyed yesterday due to enemy shelling. As a result, 514 homes in the town of Polohy and the villages of Bohate and Novokarlivka were de-energized. Currently, there is no possibility to inspect the site of the damage and start emergency recovery work.

Western regions

Volyn and Polissya directions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed significantly. The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of the republic of belarus continues. The border with Belarus has been guarded. In case of provocations of the Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense  and volunteer units are ready for decisive action.

Volyn

In Lutsk, children hosted a concert to raise funds for the military. The yard on Renaissance Avenue was turned into a stage, where UAH 2K were collected for the needs of the military.

The principal of an educational institution informed that the shelter is being constructed so that children can study full-time from the new school year and stay in comfortable conditions during air raids at the Lutsk school #2.

The head of the department of social policy explained that in Lutsk, men and women will no longer eat for free in social canteens. Coupons for free meals in social canteens will be issued only to women with children under 18, children under 18, people with disabilities and retirees.

The director of the Lutsk city centralized library system Maria Nazarevich announced that in Lutsk free Ukrainian language courses for locals and migrants were launched.

Zakarpattia oblast

Volunteers of “Shang” public organization bought two resuscitators for 16K euros. Volunteers of the Zakarpattia Military Support Movement, the Heart to Heart Charitable Foundation and the Zakarpattia Volunteers NGO loaded these resuscitators with medicines, food and tactical military equipment and sent them to “Crimea” battalion.

Lviv oblast

19 884 people crossed the border at the crossings of Lviv oblast during the day.

269 ​​people arrived by two evacuation trains in Lviv, including 14 adult patients from Pokrovsk who arrived for treatment. People are in moderate and severe condition. They were admitted for treatment by two medical institutions of Lviv oblast.

Ternopil oblast

On June 17, raids started in Ternopil to identify evaders and register them for military registration. First of all, we are talking about displaced men who are not yet registered for military registration at the place of residence.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

In Starosinyavska community in Khmelnytskyi oblast, the street and lane were renamed in honor of General Valery Zaluzhny. 78 streets in the community were renamed with names associated with the propaganda of totalitarian regimes or their leaders.

 

International support

Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson proposed 4 steps for the allies for Ukraine’s victory: provide it with armaments and finances, create land corridors for exports and unblock seaports.

In support of the Ukrainian people, a banner with the words “Glory to Ukraine” and image of the Ukrainian flag appeared in the chapel of the Royal College of Cambridge University.

Olena Zelenska appeared on the cover of the legendary The Guardian, which has been published for over 200 years. The First Lady of Ukraine gave an interview to the British newspaper, where she shared the insights on how Ukrainian families are living during the war.

Latvian company Food Union produced ice cream dedicated to Ukraine, in the colors of the Ukrainian national flag. Ice cream called “Glory to Ukraine” will be distributed free of charge to Ukrainians.

Moldova has signed a law banning rebroadcasting of russian news, analytical programs and military films.

The Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte stated that the Netherlands together with Germany are planning to send howitzers to Ukraine.

In the Sunday sermon, Pope Francis addressed pilgrims in St. Peter’s Square in Rome and told them to think daily about their efforts to help Ukraine.

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees advised on Twitter that the famous Hollywood actor Ben Stiller, who is a UN Goodwill Ambassador, was spotted in the center of Lviv. Ben Stiller arrived in Ukraine as a UN Goodwill Ambassador to meet  Ukrainian refugees.

The France-Ukraine Medical and Charitable Aid Association donated 10 ambulances to Ukraine. Cars in Ukraine are already evacuating the wounded in the zone of active hostilities.
