It has been the 108th day of Ukraine resisting a full-scale invasion of Russia. The representatives of the commission visited Irpin and

Bucha to document violations of human rights, international humanitarian law, and other crimes committed by russian troops in Ukraine.

On Saturday, the Ukrainian military repelled an enemy offensive towards Sloviansk and Bakhmut. The invaders are preparing to resume the offensive on Sloviansk, fighting continues for Severodonetsk, over which russians are trying to establish full control and block the Ukrainian military. Russia is looking for weaknesses in the Ukrainian defense in the Siversky Donets region of eastern Ukraine and has not abandoned attempts to force the river.

Ukraine briefly:

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm, the operational situation is as follows:

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy carried out systematic artillery shelling. Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled an enemy assault near Brazhkivka, Dolyna and Virnopillia. The invaders withdrew. With the support of mortars, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, the enemy is trying to gain a foothold in Bohorodychne, the fighting continues. The enemy actively uses radio electronic warfare.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy carried out artillery shelling of Ukrainian positions near Mykolaivka, Bilohorivka, Hirske, Komyshuvakha and Novoluhanske. Using combat aircraft, they carried out an airstrike near Pokrovsky.

Near Popasna, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped the enemy’s advance. The invaders had to retreat.

In the South Bug direction, to deter the Ukrainian armed forces, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions in Dobrianka, Velyka Kostromka, Murakhivka and Prybuzke. The enemy also tried to conduct counterbattery actions.

The enemy is advancing in the area of Nyrkove, the fighting continues. Towards Mykolaivka, the enemy’s offensive failed, the invaders withdrew.

In the area of Berestove, when trying to storm, the invaders suffered losses and retreated to previously occupied positions.

Towards Severodonetsk, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Metiolkino, Ustynivka and Toshkivka.

Ukrainian soldiers successfully resist the enemy’s assault actions in Severodonetsk. Part of the hostile units is storming near Toshkivka, the fighting continues. In addition, the enemy assault was successfully repulsed near Metiolkino. The invaders withdrew. The enemy had to strengthen the grouping by introducing reserve units into the operation.

Towards Lyman, hostile units did not conduct any active actions. Towards Lysychansk, the enemy increased intensity of barrel and rocket artillery, taking measures to strengthen their troops. Artillery fired at civilian infrastructure near Serebrianka and Belohorivka.

Towards Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlovske and Zaporizhzhia, there were no active hostilities. Civilian infrastructure was shelled in the areas of Niu York, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka and Novoandriivka. Near Marinka, there was a strike by assault aircraft .

The invaders struck with assault and army aircraft near Snihurivka and Topolyne.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, when inspecting combat readiness of the Armed Forces of belarus, units are brought to the highest levels of combat readiness, practical measures for the reception of conscripts are being worked out, and weapons and military equipment are withdrawn from storage.

Towards Siversk, the enemy continues mortar attacks on Ukrainian positions in the border areas. In addition, russian invaders are shelling civilian infrastructure in the settlement of Myropilske, Sumy oblast.

Near Kharkiv, the situation has not undergone significant changes. The enemy focused on keeping the boundaries seized. To deter the actions of the defense forces, they fire on the positions of Ukrainian units. In addition, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Uda, Prudianka, Tzyrkuny and Verkhniy Saltiv. They also carried out airstrikes on Ternova and Rubizhne.

In the Bessarabian direction, no significant changes in the situation occured.

The enemy continues to suffer significant losses. In order to organize medical support in the Slobozhansky direction, the forces of the 442nd military clinical hospital from the city of St. Petersburg additionally deploy a field hospital in the village of Shebekino, Belgorod oblast.

Satellite images of Zmiinyi Island from June 10 indicate deployment of new air defense systems.

In Ukraine, the UN Independent International Commission of Justice arrived to investigate crimes related to Russia’s aggression. Representatives of the Commission noted that they were instructed to conduct a separate investigation into violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Sumy oblasts in late February and March 2022 in accordance with international standards.

In Vilnius  the first in the European Union Ukrainian center for citizens who were forced to leave Ukraine because of the war was opened. The cultural center was created on the initiative of the first ladies of two countries – Olena Zelenska and Diana Nauseedene. The premises were provided by the University of Vytautas the Great.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who arrived on a visit to Kyiv, said the talks she held in Kyiv with Zelensky would finalize assessment of Ukraine’s application to join the EU by the end of next week. She also visited the wounded Ukrainian servicemen.

In Mariupol, the occupiers renamed Svobody Square to Lenin Square, as reported by Advisor to the mayor Petro Andriushchenko.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy formed the Lysychansk City Military Administration and appointed Valerii Shybik as its head.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

The russian invaders continued shelling Kharkiv and the region’s settlements over the past 24 hours. An industrial building was damaged in Kyiv Raion, Kharkiv. No one was injured. In Korobochkyne village, Chuguib Raion a shell hit a private house. Rescuers found 2 dead men and 2 women’s bodies under the rubble. Another man was injured in Korobochkyne. Also, 2 people were injured in Derhachi, 1 in Pechenihy village, and 2 in Malynivka village.

The enemy intensified shelling. Fighting continues in the region’s territory. Towards Kharkiv, the invaders are trying to prevent the Armed Forces of Ukraine from reaching the state border. In Izium Raion, the enemy conducted assault actions toward Pasika – Bohorodychne, trying to gain a foothold in the outskirts of Bohorodychne. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the enemy and causing significant losses.

On 10 June, the russian troops shelled Derhachi with cluster munitions. 2 people were injured as a result of the shelling. According to Viacheslav Zadorenko, head of the Derhachi community, on 11 June, the shelling continued, with shells falling in the vicinity of the city, with no casualties.

Employees of Police Department №1 of the Chuhuiv District Police Department and Bohodukhiv District Police Department delivered humanitarian aid to the residents of Staryy Saltiv. There are no gas, water or electricity supplies in the settlement. Most of the citizens were forced to leave their homes, but there are still people in the village

Employees of Police Department №2 of Chuhuiv District Police Department of National Police Office, Kharkiv oblast, together with the Black Horse Charity Foundation, also delivered the charity aid.

Donetsk oblast

According to the head of Donetsk Region Civil-Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, 2 civilians died in Donetsk oblast on 10 June: in Kostiantynivka and Hirnyk. 7 more people were injured.

In Mariupol, the invaders are urgently setting up an infectious department. Petro Andriushchenko, advisor of Mariupol’s mayor says: “Even one infectious disease doctor from Siberia arrived, that is, the invaders themselves already understand that there is a possibility of a cholera epidemic”.

National guards destroyed enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group’s firing position in Marinka, Donetsk oblast. With a targeted mine hit from a 120 mm mortar, a mortar platoon subordinate to the Central Operational and Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine immediately destroyed the plans of the enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group.

The residential areas of Sloviansk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut continue to be under constant shelling. These cities are practically on the front line.

Luhansk oblast

According to the head of the Luhansk Region Civil-Military Administration, Serhiy Hayday, the information about the blocking of the Azot plant is fake. He noted that the Ukrainian troops were holding the Severodonetsk industrial zone. He also added that the invaders suffered serious casualties in the city during a meeting at the Khimik Palace of Culture.

The invaders struck Vrubivka village, Luhansk oblast, with a flamethrower system. According to the head of the Luhansk Region Civil-Military Administration, it was probably a Solntsepek. Many houses were burnt out, and information on the number of casualties is being verified.

In Lysychansk, russians hit a glass factory. Moreover, a school and a trade and cooking lyceum were damaged. In recent days there are many injured across the region as a result of the shelling – all of them are in hospitals in other parts of the country.

Northern regions

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reports that there are three enemy battalion tactical groups consisting of units from the Western Military District deployed at the russian-Ukrainian border in Bryansk and Kursk oblasts. They aim at preventing our troops from redeploying to other directions of intense combat actions. The aggressor fired artillery at the positions of our troops in the border areas of Sumy oblast.

Kyiv oblast

Kyiv Regional Military Administration has posted on its official Telegram channel that the UN Independent International Commission investigating russia’s crimes against Ukraine paid an official visit to Kyiv oblast.

The representatives of the commission visited Irpin and Bucha to document violations of human rights, international humanitarian law, and other crimes committed by russian troops in Ukraine.

The president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has been back in Kyiv. She arrived to discuss the results of joint efforts in rebuilding Ukraine, as well as to assess Ukraine’s progress on its path to European integration.

Demining continues in Kyiv oblast. On June 10, explosive objects were disposed of in Bucha, Brovary, Vyshhorod, and Bila Tserkva districts of the oblast. In the last 24 hours, 142.8 hectares of territory have been inspected. Specialists checked 7.7 km of roads and neutralized 403 pieces of UXO.

On June 10, rescuers of Bila Tserkva District Department in the town of Irpin, Bucha district, were inspecting and documenting the fire outcomes occurring during heavy fighting between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and invaders.

The State Emergency Service of Kyiv oblast reports that on June 10, a truck with a trailer tripped a mine and was blown up on a mine near Pochepyn farm in the Bucha district. The driver was not significantly injured, the truck almost completely burnt down.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine exposed an enemy’s accomplice who “guided” the occupants to the homes of wealthy families in Irpin and looted those homes together with them.

A train will be operating between Kyiv and Prague. Czech transport company RegioJet launches a scheduled train service between Prague, Lviv, and Kyiv. The first trip is scheduled for June 11.

The President Office informs that 335 suburban and intercity bus routes have been resumed in Kyiv oblast. About 475 vehicles are engaged in these routes.

The Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration Olexiy Kuleba shared information on restoration of infrastructure in the settlements of Kyiv oblast.

Darnytsia Railroad Car Repair Plant is resuming its operations.

‘The Football Cup of Unity’ charity tournament is held at the stadium of Locomotive FC in Kyiv. There were military men, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Emergency Service, territorial defense forces, etc. among the competitors. All funds collected during the competition will be donated to support Ukrainian defenders.

Maria Prymachenko’s painting “Flowers grew around the fourth block” was given to the National Art Museum of Ukraine in Kyiv. Earlier it was sold for $500K at a charity auction raising money for the AFU. Now it will become part of the museum’s permanent exhibition.

An exhibition of documentary photographs will open on St. Michael’s Square in Kyiv, showing parallels between the crimes of the USSR and russia. The exhibition will tell the stories of 15 Ukrainians from the 20th and 21st centuries who suffered from the war.

Zhytomyr oblast

A group of people who collected weapons and ammunition from battlefields was exposed in Zhytomyr oblast. Such weapons as machine guns, revolvers, and grenades were seized.

The Security Service of Ukraine has neutralized the enemy Internet agents with a russian citizen among them. The perpetrators distributed propaganda in support of russian aggression against Ukraine via social media.

US charity sent humanitarian aid to the Zhytomyr brigade. Ukrainian defenders received medical equipment, first-aid kits, medications, and mobile hospitals – the equipment crucial in wartime.

Chernihiv oblast

The rashists shelled Chernihiv oblast with artillery and mortars three times in the early morning hours. More than 20 explosions were recorded in Novhorod-Siverskyi border area.

According to the President Office of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service has cleared more than 27K of  unexploded ordnances in Chernihiv oblast since the beginning of the war.

Sumy oblast

Krasnopillya community was shelled with artillery yesterday afternoon. As a result, one person was killed due to the injuries sustained. Velyka Pysarivka community was shelled with mortars in the evening. Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported that there were no casualties or damage. 

At night, the enemy fired the territory with mortar, damaging civilian houses and power lines in Vorozhba, and attacked the territory of the Shalyhine community. There were no casualties.

10 more russian shells exploded in Shostka district around 11 a.m.

Relying on the General Staff data, on June 11, the russians shelled civilian infrastructure facilities in Myropilske village.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The day was not quiet again in Kryvyi Rih district. Russian occupiers hit Zelenodolsk and Shyrokiv communities with artillery and Uragan MRLS systems. 

An internally displaced person from Kherson oblast was injured in Velyka Kostroma. The person was hospitalized. As a result of the village shelling, culture house, two residential buildings and a gas pipeline were damaged.

In Shyrokiv community, one person was injured and hospitalized, several houses were destroyed.

According to the Security Service of Ukraine, russian agent, who gathered information about the location of mobile communications facilities and Ukrainian military forces, was detained in Dnipro.

Kirovohrad oblast

The head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration Andriy Raykovych informed that more than 80K internally displaced persons are currently living in Kirovograd oblast. Internally displaced persons from regions of active hostilities, temporarily occupied and liberated territories continue to arrive in Kirovohrad oblast.

80 156 citizens have already become permanent residents of the region. There are 23 478 kids among them. Most of them live in Kropyvnytskyi – 19 535, in Alexandria – 9 391, in Svitlovodsk – 6 619 and in Znamyanka – 3 026 people.

There are no major changes in other regions of Central Ukraine.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The situation in the south-eastern direction has not significantly сhanged. The enemy did not conduct active hostilities.

The main forces and means of the invaders continue to be concentrated in the area of ​​the settlements of Orikhiv and Huliaipole. They are also strengthening their units in the area of ​​Vasylivka.

At other borders, Ukrainian defenders are holding back the enemy along the line of demarcation.

Russian troops continue to violate international humanitarian law and the rules of war. They launched a missile strike in the area of ​​the airport, as well as fired on civilian infrastructure and peaceful households in the village Plavni in Vasyliv region and Huliaipole town in Pologiv region.

In the village of Mala Tokmachka, Pologi region, a village council building burned down to the ground as a result of russian shelling.

In addition, the enemy fired at the positions of units of Ukrainian troops along the contact line from the entire spectrum of weapons in the area of ​​the settlements of Kamyanske, Zaliznychne, Hulyaipole, Stepnogorsk, Plavni, Novosilka, Malynivka, Orikhiv, Olhivske, Novene, Bivohir.

According to preliminary information, one person was injured in the shelling of Orikhiv and nearby villages.

The settlements of Komyshuvakha, Staroukrainka, and Kamyanske were shelled by russian troops from Grad MLRS, and Zaliznychne from Hurricane MLRS. Enemy tanks “were firing” in Vremivka.

Servicemen of the Defense Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction destroyed a mortar, an ACS, an Orlan-10 UAV, four armored combat vehicles, eliminated enemy manpower, namely 13 russian servicemen, wounded 18 russian soldiers.

In Prymorsk, the occupiers abducted 18-year-old Artur Yaroshevsky, the head of the Nogai College. Suspilne media outlet reported this news citing one of the student council members, whose name is not disclosed for security reasons. The occupiers searched his apartment, confiscated all equipment, as well as his brother and mother’s staff. As of June 11, the whereabouts of the boy are still unknown. According to the student council member, Arthur is known for his active pro-Ukrainian position.

Mykolaiv oblast

The occupiers shelled Bashtansky district, namely Shirokivska, Ingulska, and Bereznehuvatska communities. Agricultural fields outside the settlements were mainly hit, but one Hurricane strike also launched towards the suburbs of Mykolaiv. The information on casualties and injuries is being clarified.

One civilian was killed as a results of shelling of the Halycyniv community. Last night, russian troops attacked the village of Lymany. As a result, a man was killed. The information on damages is being clarified.

Ukrainian Su-27 fighter jet struck an ammunition depot and the enemy equipment buildup in Mykolayiv oblast.

Yesterday, pyrotechnics of Mykolaiv oblast disposed of 9 munitions. 2 532 munitions have been seized since the war started and 3 161 requests have been addressed.

In Mykolaiv, on the basis of regional children hospital volunteers from Odesa established a second water purification station which will provide 100 cubic meters of clean water per day.

Odesa oblast 

The naval enemy forces continue to block navigation and keep the territory of Ukraine under threat of missile strikes.

An enemy mine, torn from its anchor, was brought to the coast in Odesa oblast. It was found in the sea 20 m from the shore. The mine detonated in the water, probably when colliding with another object.

Harvesting season has started in Odesa oblast. Farmers are harvesting winter barley in Izmail district. In 2022, in the Odesa oblast, 1 061 000 hectares of winter grain are to be harvested. 551K hectares of winter wheat, 244K hectares of winter barley, 50K hectares of spring barley, 190k hectares of rapeseed will be sown. 

The Odesa regional military administration plans to reopen the theaters. However, only cultural institutions equipped with shelters will be allowed to re-open.

On June 11, police on motorcycles began patrolling Odesa streets. Police officers on motorcycles will be able to come to rescue much faster. First of all, the motorcycle patrol will provide paramedical care. All employees have been trained in tactical medicine and have first aid kits on them.

Kherson oblast 

​​The situation on the contact line remains tense. The enemy strengthens the frontiers of defense, draws up reserves, and tries to protect the water supply from Kherson oblast to Crimea. Protective reinforced concrete structures have been erected around the North Crimean Canal. The number of checkpoints has been increased on access roads and near bridges.

Hostilities are quite intense, many houses and buildings are damaged, civilians wounded and cattle slaughtered on the administrative border of Kherson oblast with neighboring regions and in the Beryslav district. There is a shortage of medicines, baby food and other humanitarian goods. Their delivery from the Ukrainian controlled territory is blocked. The occupiers do not ship them from Crimea.

While investigating the advance route into the occupied Kherson oblast, the Ukrainian reconnaissance group destroyed a group of russian paratroopers, seizing their weapons and communication devices. 

Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters struck at an enemy buildup in Kherson oblast. In total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 39 russian servicemen, destroyed a T-62 tank, four armored vehicles, three trucks, Borisoglebsk-2 automated electronic warfare complex, two Msta-B howitzers, and a field ammunition depot near the village of Davydov Brid.

Kherson City Council reports that Ukrainian troops are conducting counteroffensive towards Kiselivka, Soldatske and Oleksandrivka in Kherson oblast. The village of Tavriyske is completely under Ukraine’s control.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council Yuriy Sobolevsky shared the news of his escape from the russian-controlled territory of Kherson oblast on the Facebook page. 

According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Kherson resident has received suspicion for public use of communist symbols. The suspect faces up to 5 years in prison.

Western regions

Volyn oblast 

Valentin Shabunin, a mechanic, working in the Lutsk car repair shop “Piston”, where people with disabilities are employed, stated that he repairs cars for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, he repaired 10 cars for Ukrainian soldiers.

A volunteer center was opened in a cafe in Lutsk where waiters with Down syndrome serve customers. People with disabilities and children from the public organization “Down Syndrome” united for the victory of Ukraine. Volunteers have already sent half a hundred trucks with humanitarian aid since the start of the war to the military and civilians in the regions where the fighting continues.

Zakarpattia oblast

Eurocar Automobile Plant in Solomonovo resumed  operations on June 10 with a batch of 80 Kodiaq and Karoq crossovers manufactured.  

In Zakarpattia, the Security Service of Ukraine blocked the activities of the provider, which illegally rebroadcast propaganda TV channel russia.

On June 11, at St. Martin’s Hospital in Mukachevo, two new departments, cardiology and vascular surgery, were opened

Today, the Minister of Health Viktor Liashko, reported during meetings with regional authorities that they plan to establish a modern rehabilitation center for war victims in Zakarpattia. “We are ready to give proposals regarding the location, availability of doctors and rehabilitation specialists to perform tasks of various areas of recovery within the relevant packages of the National Health Insurance Fund,” Victor Mykita, head of Zakarpattia Regional Military Administration, said.

Lviv oblast

During the day, 243 people arrived in Lviv by two evacuation trains. 17 747 people crossed the border at the crossings of Lviv oblast during the day.

All IDPs and residents of Lviv oblast can undergo free medical examinations in their communities. Within the last week, local specialists, together with specialists from Sheptytsky Hospital and UNICEF, rendered medical and psychological aid to more than 4K people in Lviv oblast.

1K IDPs living in the Sokal and Chervonohrad local communities will receive financial assistance from Binance Charity.

IDPs in Lviv oblast will be paid approximately 1 200 000 dollars. This assistance is credited in cryptocurrency. Lviv oblast became the first in Ukraine to implement such a project. Earlier, 2K people living in shelters in Lviv and Drohobych applied for this assistance.

The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi reported that the third joint humanitarian mission to eastern Ukraine, the International Assistance Headquarters for Ukrainians and the Lviv Defense Clust, sent 10 SUVs and about 1K bulletproof vests to the 80th, 110th, 25th, 56th, 103rd military brigades and 7 383 and 1 314 military unit. First aid kits and gas masks from the Lviv Humanitarian Hub and meat from Halytska Svizhyna were also sent.

There were no significant changes in other regions.

International support

On June 22, the Ukrainian ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk reported that Germany intends to deliver Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers to Ukraine.

Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nagy said that Slovakia will not only repair but also modernize Ukrainian military equipment

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Singapore Kateryna Zelenko wrote in Twitter that Singapore will provide assistance to Ukraine: rescue equipment and minesweepers, 2 fire engines and fire protection equipment, 9 ambulances and medical supplies.
