Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

Towards Volyn, Polissia and Siversk, the situation has not significantly changed. The enemy shelled the villages of Hai, Chernihiv oblast, and Bilopillia, Hudove, and Stari Vyrky, Sumy oblast.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy fired from barrel and reactive artillery in the areas of Bazaliivka, Blahodatne, Cherkaski Tyshky, Derhachi, Kharkiv, Prudianka, Pryshyb, Pytomnyk, Rubizhne, Ruski Tyshky, Slatyne, Stary Saltiv, Tsirkuny, and Udy. There were airstrikes launched at Mospanove and Verkhniy Saltiv.

Towards Sloviansk, Chervona Poliana, Dolyna, Dubrovne, Hrushuvakha, Krasnopillia, Karnaukhivka, Virnopillia, and Velyka Komyshuvakha were shelled. By assault actions, the invaders tried to establish control over the settlement of Bohorodychne. And again, traditionally, without any success.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy fired barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Hryhorivka, Ivano-Dariivka, Kryva Luka, Siversk, Spirne, and Verkhniokamianske. Ukrainian soldiers once again repulsed the enemy’s assaults towards Verkhniokamianka – Verkhniokamianske and Bilohorivka – Verkhniokamianske. The invaders withdrew, suffering losses.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy shelled our troops near Bakhmut, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Nova Kamianka, New York, Pokrovske, Travneve, Vesela Dolyna and Zaitseve. In addition, the invaders launched an airstrike near Bakhmut.

The enemy’s thoughtless attempts to gain a foothold towards Volodymyrivka – Bakhmutske and Dolomitne – Novoluhanske resulted in significant losses and their retreat. The enemy is losing personnel, but is stubbornly trying to establish control over the Vuhlehirsk TPP. Fighting continues to rage. Tough fighting also continues towards Rota – Semyhiria.

Towards Avdiivka, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, systematic shelling of civilian infrastructure continues in Avdiivka, Charivne, Krasnohorivka, Novoandriivka, Novomykhailivka, Opytne, Pisky, Pavlivka, Stepnohirsk and Zaleznychne. In some areas, the russian occupiers are also conducting aerial reconnaissance with UAVs.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy focuses its main efforts on preventing the advance of our troops. Enemy shelling was recorded near Kavkaz, Kotliarevo, Novomykolaiivka, Novohryhorivka, Mykolaiv, Osokorivka, Pervomaisk, Poliana, Tavria, Trudoliubivka, and Yavkyne. Ukrainian defenders also fought back.

Outside its bases, the enemy keeps three carriers of precision weapons. Air raid alarms are not to be ignored.

The invaders launched an airstrike near Andriivka. Then they tried to advance towards Sukhyi Stavok – Andriivka and Bruskinske – Bilohirka. But our warriors did not give the enemy any chance to succeed. The enemy suffered losses and randomly retreated.


Over 50K women currently voluntarily serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over 5K of them are on the frontline. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The military command has lifted restrictions on the service of women – they can be tankers, artillerymen and go military diving. Currently, Ukraine has one of the highest rates of the number of women in the army compared to NATO member countries.

The Ministry of Infrastructure states that despite the shelling of the Odesa port, Ukraine is preparing to start grain exports. Ukrianians do not stop working and continue technical operations for transportation of grain and food produce from Ukrainian ports.

The United States is considering declaring russia a state sponsor of terrorism. This was reported by the US Embassy in Ukraine. The final decision should be approved by the Administration of President Joe Biden.

Pope Francis says he has a “great desire” to visit Kyiv. Also, according to media reports, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, before leaving his post, wants to make a “farewell” trip to Ukraine.


Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, hostilities on the front line continue. Ukrainian troops are holding their positions along all combat lines in Kharkiv oblast.

The Kharkiv Defence Headquarters recorded no russian shelling of the city overnight, but the invaders struck in the region. The shelling resulted in fires in farm buildings and hits on open areas.

In the morning, a tractor driver tripped on a mine and blew himself up on a mine in a field in Nemyshlia district. A 39-year-old tractor driver was fatally injured.

According to the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, negotiations on the four so-called green corridors are currently ongoing.

Despite shelling, the evacuation of the population continues. About 1,000 people moved into Ukrainian-controlled territory this week, about 300 of them are children.

Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Oleksiy Rieznikov visited Kharkiv oblast. The head of the ministry witnessed the consequences of the russian aggression. During the visit, the minister gave honors to law enforcers, volunteers and communal workers, who had held tightly at the back since the first days of the war.

The head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, expressed readiness to support Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov’s initiative to nationalise Kharkiv TEC-5.

As of today, in Kharkiv oblast, almost 300 educational institutions are located in the temporarily occupied territories. 21 out of 24 institutions of higher education are damaged. 17 schools are destroyed and almost 200 are damaged. 64 educational institutions have shelters meeting safety requirements.

Specialists at Misksvitlo utility restored more than 297 km of power networks during the war and restored power to 176 streets. According to the utility, a total of more than 900 accidents on outdoor lighting networks were eliminated and 42 damaged resistors were replaced during this period.

Donetsk oblast

Russian troops carried out 15 strikes on Donetsk oblast, shelling nine settlements. Russians used aviation, artillery, rocket launchers, Uragan and Grad multiple rocket launchers. 23 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged: 18 residential buildings, 2 schools, garages and outbuildings.

The enemy is fighting in the Bakhmut direction to create conditions for an offensive on Bakhmut and to capture the territory of Vuhlehirsk thermal power plant.

Russians killed 2 Donetsk oblast residents: 1 in Avdiivka and 1 in Toretsk. Two more people were wounded. The exact toll of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha cannot be established at the moment.

According to the head of Donetsk Regional Civil Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, two schools were destroyed by russian invaders in Donetsk oblast – in Bakhmut and Kostiantynivka. In addition, a kindergarten in Novovodmytrivka was damaged by russian shelling.

In the occupied Horlivka, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck near Mashzavod, where the invader’s vehicles were located. The toll of casualties and a number of destroyed vehicles is not yet known.

The personnel of the regional department of the State Emergency Service evacuated 11 people, including 7 children from the Kramatorsk district. During evacuation at the railway station in Pokrovsk city, help was provided to 550 people, including 17 children and 10 physically disabled people.

Luhansk oblast

From Lysychansk, the enemy is constantly attacking different parts of the administrative border between Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts.

According to the Office for Strategic Communications, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a detachment of the Sakhalin omon who had just moved in for a rotation near Lysychansk. 12 invaders were killed and the rest of the detachment was severely injured.

According to Kreminna City Military Administration, a humanitarian headquarters for displaced people from Luhansk oblast is working in Rivne. At the headquarters, people can receive not only humanitarian aid but also consult on social, medical and legal issues and solve problems with finding accommodation.

Residents of Popasna community who are unable to receive aid directly in the city received 1,420 parcels through Ukrposhta’s office during the week.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

During a visit to Ukraine, a two-party U.S. Congress delegation inspected sites where the russian army had committed war crimes against Ukraine and its citizens. The group of U.S. officials was led by Adam Smith, head of the Armed Forces Committee of the House of Representatives. The delegates visited Irpin, Bucha, and Hostomel.

More than 640 infrastructure facilities and residential buildings in Kyiv were damaged as a result of enemy shelling. According to the Kyiv City State Administration, restoration works continue in 11 residential buildings that sustained the most damage.

Specialists are repairing the damaged transport infrastructure of the capital and restoring  public transport routes. More than 4.5 km of trolleybus contact line has been restored in the city. 50 meters of rails, two switches, and about 600 railway sleepers were installed on the damaged track.

A dam floodgate is being repaired on the Irpin river near the village of Demydiv in Kyiv oblast, damaged due to the military action in February. According to the Presidential Office, the water should recede from the flooded settlements in 7-10 days. After partial destruction of the protective dam, significant areas of Moshun, Horenka, Demydiv, and Kozarovichi villages were affected.

Windows and doors in the “Green Yard” residential complex in Irpin are being replaced. The total area of damage is about 1,500 square meters of windows and more than 600 doors. The repairs are scheduled to be completed by the end of July. According to the Kyiv RMA, the housing project is being restored at the expense of the state budget reserve fund.

With the support of Hungary, a facility containing an administrative services center, a post office, and an outpatient clinic will be built near Bucha. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Economy and Foreign Affairs of Hungary. The construction is scheduled to begin in a few weeks.

The American non-profit organization Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) will rebuild ten houses, including three schools, as part of the Hope for Bucha program. The mayor of Bucha, Anatoliy Fedoruk, noted that about two thousand buildings in total require reconstruction.

Automatic defibrillators for saving passengers’ lives will soon be provided at railway stations of Kyiv and Kyiv oblast. The railway workers received 44 defibrillators from the Red Cross of Ukraine. Until now only 6 main railway stations in Ukraine were provided with such equipment.

In Boryspil, there was an event dedicated to safety precautions on water bodies, the basics of first aid, and ways to stop bleeding. The event included theoretical and applied courses and was held jointly by rescuers, patrol police, and medical staff. They were also practicing the air raid alert drill for citizens.

Zhytomyr oblast

According to the State Service of Ukraine for Ethno-Politics and Freedom of Conscience, four churches were damaged during a full-scale invasion in Zhytomyr oblast. In total, russians have destroyed at least 183 places of worship in Ukraine.

Volunteers in Zhytomyr organized an entertainment event for fifty children with disabilities. Children’s drawings about the war in Ukraine served as an “entrance fee” to the event. The party, who has organized the event, plans to collect children’s drawings, digitalize them and create an NFT collection, so that people around the world can understand what is going on in children’s hearts.

91-year-old Leonid Novofastovsky, a well-known chess coach from Zhytomyr, has donated 28K hryvnias to the AFU. Money was raised by chess fans to print his next book.

Sumy oblast

The Sumy RMA reported that during the day the enemy shelled the territory of Sumy oblast 12 times, launches of more than 170 different types of ammunition were recorded.

Communities of Myropillia, Khotyn, Bilopillia, Mykolaiv, Krasnopillia, and Shalygine came under enemy fire. According to the SBGS, the enemy inflicted fire damage using aircraft, barrel artillery, mortars and grenade launchers.

A civilian was killed as a result of shelling of the Bilopillia community from an AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher and SPHs. Two enemy planes fired 10 unguided air missiles on the territory of Mykolaiv community.

The regional emergency department reports that pyrotechnicians of the Sumy oblast discovered 2 explosive objects and defused 117 more at a special blasting site. Among them are artillery shells, mortar and signal mines, hand, underbarrel, anti-tank and underbarrel grenades, rockets and components of active tank armor.

Almost 500 people, both military and civilians, completed a course in tactical medicine in Sumy oblast. The training is carried out thanks to the US Charitable Foundation “The Austere Medical Relief Group”.

Chernihiv oblast

The State Border Service reports that the enemy continues to shell the border areas of Chernihiv oblast. The Novgorod-Siverskyi community came under fire from enemy barrel artillery twice.

To support the defenders of Chernihiv oblast and give them positive emotions, the artists Oksana Pekun, Anatoliy Hnatyuk, Astraya, the band “Banderivske Smuzi” and the team of the International television festival “Hit of the Year” visited the servicemen.

Ukravtodor reports that the alternative road from Kyiv to Chernihiv has been repaired. The path runs along roads of regional and territorial significance; two temporary detours have been built near the destroyed bridges. Drivers are warned that explosive objects may be found in some areas outside the road surface.

The residents of Mena community ask the deputies to suspend the activities of the UOC churches, previously called the Moscow Patriarchate. The mothers and relatives of the fighters appealed to the city council. 20 UOC parishes are registered on the territory of the community.

A rave-cleaning of the House of Culture in the village of Yagidne, burned by russian shelling, was organized in Chernihiv oblast. Several dozen young people took part in clearing debris to music. Organizers, the charity Repair Together, plan to rebuild at least 12 completely destroyed houses and repair 25 more by winter.

Doctors of the Sukhopolova community in Chernihiv oblast received 21 bicycles. Charitable assistance was provided as a part of the all-Ukrainian initiative BikesForUkraine. There are 21 medical institutions operating on the territory of the community, providing medical services to about 13,000 residents in 54 settlements.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast  

During the night in Dnipropetrovsk oblast, an air raid alarm sounded only once. The enemy shelled Kryvyi Rih district before it. Russian troops hit the village of Marianske, Zelenodolsk community with barrel artillery. The head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk informed that there are no victims and damages. 

A military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko commented on attacks of russian troops on Nikopol. According to his comments, it is terror of the civilian population to put moral and psychological pressure on the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russian troops do not have resources to force or storm the city.

The charity art exhibition “Nepryiniatia” was opened at the Museum of Ukrainian Painting in Dnipro. About 200 paintings by artists from different cities of Ukraine were presented at the exhibition. The exposition has 6 halls by analogy with the stages of a person’s psychological acceptance of war: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance and action.

Kirovohrad oblast

Residential buildings were damaged in Kropyvnytskyi as a result of shelling. The head of the Kirovohrad region military administration Andrii Raykovych informed that there is a fund to compensate for damages.

Poltava oblast

Master class was held on the site, located near the detention center for homeless animals in Poltava. It is designed for dog training.

Cherkasy foresters patrol the territory of the forest, create protective strips and record video surveillance. This way, they take care of region fire safety.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction has not changed significantly. 

There were 11 reports of destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by russian occupation forces of Novooleksandrivka, Hryhorivka, Kanivske, Kamianske, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Orikhiv.

1 066 people, including 345 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory.

The Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, informed about explosions in the city and its surroundings last night. According to him, the explosions occurred at the city airport and near the village of Kostiantynivka. The railway infrastructure, used by the occupiers to transport military equipment and personnel in the direction of Vasylivka and Tokmak, was damaged in the Melitopol district.

In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, collaborators issued an order to create “election commissions” to prepare for a pseudo-referendum. This was announced by the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov. The occupiers are trying to involve local residents in organizing the vote, but the mayor warns against cooperation with the occupiers.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence appealed to the residents of the temporarily occupied Energodar and surrounding territories with a call to report coordinates of  deployment points and residential addresses of the occupying forces.

A race was held in support of the Mariupol garrison as a part of the “Running for Azovstal” flashmob. About 250 residents of Zaporozhzhia, internal displaced persons, as well as soldiers of the Azov regiment joined the run.

Mykolaiv oblast

The enemy once again attacked Mykolaiv with 7 modified missiles from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system in the middle of the night. Objects of industrial and port infrastructure were affected. There were no losses.

Shelling was recorded in Halytsynivka and Shevchenkove communities. Residential buildings, farm buildings and forest plantations were damaged. Two people were killed.

The enemy hit the cultural center 6 times in Shyrokove community. There are no casualties.

6 fires, occurred as a result of enemy shelling, were registered in Mykolaiv oblast during the day. This is reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv Oblast. Private residential buildings, farm buildings, two cars and deadwoods burned in Mykolaiv after the enemy rocket attack.

 The Prosecutor General’s Office reports that 54 children have been injured in Mykolayiv oblast since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the troops of the russian federation.

Odesa oblast

There are more than 10 units of ships and boats of the enemy fleet in the Black Sea. 2 surface and 1 underwater missile carrier with 20 Kalibr missiles on board are maneuvering along the coast of Crimea, from the city of Tarkhankut to Anapa.

This year the Odesa Film Festival program will be broadcast at film festivals in Norway, Canada, the Czech Republic, Kosovo and Poland due to the war. This was reported by the Odesa City Council.

Kherson oblast

Ukrainian rocket and artillery units destroyed the S-300 anti-aircraft battery near Zelenotropynske. This is reported by the South Operational Command. Several objects of transport infrastructure in the temporarily occupied territory were taken under fire control. It significantly limits the maneuverability and logistics of the enemy troops.

Confirmed losses of the enemy over the past day are 54 occupiers, 3 T-62 tanks, 3 Grad multiple rocket launchers, Msta-B howitzer, armored vehicles and vehicles, an ammunition depot and a munitions supply point in Kherson oblast.

The russian military is trying to destroy Ukrainian patriotic symbols in Kherson oblast. As reported by the Kherson Regional Council, the occupation authorities announced a reward for any information about people painting Ukrainian symbols.

Western regions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the security situation towards Volyn and Polissia did not changed significantly, but a strict ban was imposed on citizens visiting forests in the north of Volyn oblast. The border with belarus in guarded. In case of provocations of the Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense  and volunteer units are ready for decisive action.

Volyn

A free social shop was opened for displaced people in the Kivertsi community in Volyn. Its services have been used by over 2 500 people who have the status of IDPs.

Zakarpattia oblast

62 entrepreneurs have moved to Uzhhorod since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia.

The Regional Defense Council decided to lift restrictions on the sale of alcoholic beverages. The sale of these beverages to law enforcement officers, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, territorial defense and other military formations remains prohibited.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The volunteer center at the People’s House in Kolomyia started collecting Ukrainian souvenir products to participate in the international charity fair in Norway. All proceeds will be used to purchase ammunition and essential items for Ukrainian defenders.

In Halychi, a tour of historical monuments was held for the forcibly displaced people.

Lviv oblast

200 people were evacuated from the war zone to Lviv by two evacuation trains. 815 people traveled to Przemysl from Lviv Oblast by four trains.

As part of the “We&World” art project, with the support of Lviv RMA, contemporary Ukrainian art was exhibited for the first time in the Umberto Mastroiani Gallery in Rome. The exhibition with the telling title “Perché?” (“What for?”) was held to attract attention to the full-scale war launched by russia against Ukraine, as well as to raise funds to help Ukrainians affected by the war. The exhibition presents 75 works of painting, sculpture, graphics and ceramics by Ukrainian artists.

Rivne oblast

The head of the National Police of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, announced that the police presence will be increased in Rivne oblast. This is due to the large number of internally displaced persons, as well as the proximity to the belarusian border.

In Rivne oblast, checks at checkpoints will be reinforced to detect suspected saboteurs or other criminal elements, as well as to prevent import of weapons or other prohibited items and substances into the region.

12-year-old Dmytro from Mlyn helps the military. In February, he went to the military commissariat for the first time and offered his help. Recently, a schoolboy from Mlynov and his friends wove 2 camouflage nets for the military. The parents collected the fabric for  young volunteers. Dmytro bought the net using his savings.

Yuriy Savchuk, one of the artists and co-author of the project, said that in Rivne oblast, in the city of Varash, 26 local artists painted a picture with a map of Ukraine for two and a half months. Each area was painted by a different artist. The work is completed, now they plan to hold an auction, and transfer the raised funds to the Ukrainian military.

Ternopil oblast

Foreigners from 18 countries currently work in Ternopil oblast. Most of them are involved in the processing industry (46%), agriculture and wholesale and retail trade (19.2% each), and the service and provision of other services (15.6%). Citizens of the USA, Armenia, Turkey and Poland received most employment permits in Ukraine.

The rector of the National Medical University named after Bogomolets Yuriy Kuchyn announced that an educational event for anesthesiologists “European School of Anesthesiology” is being held in Ternopil. The training is devoted to the topic of the respiratory tract in the context of providing assistance to the injured.

Doctors in Ternopil Oblast will receive 10K laptops from the French Ministry of Economy, Finance, Industrial and Digital Sovereignty. These state-of-the-art devices are on the way.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Russian occupation forces launched a missile attack on Khmelnytskyi oblast from the Black Sea. 3 Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles were shot down by the forces and means of air defense of the West Air Command.

Chernivtsi oblast

The volunteer center reported that the Kitsman Voluntary Center for Aid to the Ukrainian Army sent humanitarian aid to the east of Ukraine. 

International support

The well-known crypto exchange Binance has developed a new project for which it has allocated $1 million. The goal of the project is to financially help Ukrainians affected by the war in Ukraine.

Funds were collected in Poland for Bayraktar for Ukraine. Over 200K Poles transferred money as part of the action. About 5 million dollars were collected.

The Chairman of the Committee of the Supreme Court of the US House of Representatives, Adam Smith, stated that the US plans to transfer 25-30 HIMARS systems to Ukraine.

The head of the British Foreign Ministry, Liz Truss, announced that Britain will respond to each new russian strike by increasing aid to Ukraine.

The international working group on security guarantees for Ukraine held its second meeting. Participants discussed the draft plan of recommendations regarding future international security guarantees for Ukraine.

On the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen was held. The main purpose of the event was to discuss the post-war future of our country and the world, as well as to collect funds for an ambulance for Ukraine. The participants of the Summit collected 3 million 200K dollars for the resuscitation vehicle.

The “Forum of the Free Peoples of russia” opened in Prague this week, where the issues of decolonization, demilitarization and deputization of the country, as well as rejection of imperial standards in foreign policy, were discussed.
