Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not significantly changed.
Towards Siversk, the enemy is intensifying counterintelligence in the border areas of Kursk oblast. The invaders fired mortars at Pokrovka, Volfyne and Vovkivka, Sumy oblast. There was also air reconnaissance using UAVs near Shalyhyne, Starykove and Zarutskyi.
Towards Kharkiv, the occupiers focus on preventing the advance of our troops.
Ukrainian soldiers repelled an enemy assault towards Dementiivka. The enemy is replenishing supplies and trying to additionally staff and equip the units which suffered losses.
Dementiyivka, Kharkiv, Korobochkine, Peremoha, Petrivka, Prudianka, Ruska Lozova, Ruski and Cherkaski Tyshky, Slatyne, Stary Saltiv, Udy, Yavirske and Zalyman were shelled. The strike was carried out with Ka-52 helicopters near Verkhniy Petrivka and Saltiv.
Towards Sloviansk, the enemy struck from barrel artillery and multiple rocket launchers at Dibrivne, Dolyna, Donetske, Chepil, Husarivka, Krasnopillya, Kurulka, Mazanivka, Raihorodok, Tetianaivka, Virnopillia, Velyka Komyshuvakha and other settlements. There was an airstrike near Mazanivka.
Assault actions towards Dolyna and Ivanivka were repelled by our defenders who pushed back the invaders.
Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy did not take active combat actions.
Ivano-Darivka, Kryvyi Luka, Mykolaivka, Siversk, Serebrianka and Verkhnokamianske were shelled from barrel artillery and mortars. There were airstrikes near Spirne.
Towards Bakhmut, the invaders carried out shelling with barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Kodema, Maineve, Maiorsk, Pokrovske, Opytne, Shumy, Soledar, Toretsk, Vesela Dolyna, Vershyna, Vuhlehirska TPP, Vyimka and Zaitseve. An airstrike was launched near Vershyna.
Our soldiers thwarted all enemy’s onslaught attempts towards Veselya Dolyna, Vershyna and Yakovlivka. The invaders, suffering losses, withdrew. Their combat reconnaissance near Pokrovske also failed.
Towards Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, the enemy continued shelling with barrel and rocket artillery along the contact line, although with less intensity. There were airstrikes near Kamianske, Mali Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka and Novomikhailivka. The enemy conducted aerial reconnaissance using UAVs near Novoprokopivka and Malay Tokmachka.
Towards the South Buh, the aggressor’s troops carried out shelling from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery near Bila Krynytsia, Blahodatne, Dobrianka, Kniazivka, Kotliareve, Kyselivka, Limany, Luparevo, Luch, Nova Zoria, Novohryhorivka, Olenivka, Osokorivka, Partizanske, Potemkyne, Posad-Pokrovske, Prybuzke, Shevchenkove, Stepova Dolyna, Ukrainka and Zoria. The enemy also conducted air reconnaissance using UAVs.
In the Black and Azov Seas, four carriers with high-precision weapons are ready to launch missile strikes on targets on the territory of Ukraine.
In some places, the enemy’s losses exceed manning indices, which significantly impacts the morale and psychological state of russian soldiers. It becomes the reason why the personnel refuse to participate in hostilities against Ukraine. The russian command has to use physical violence against subordinates.
In his speech to the participants of the Asian Leadership Conference in Seoul (Korea), the President of Ukraine stressed that russia has been terrorizing Ukraine by launching 2 960 missiles. “If this goes unpunished, it will happen again in other parts of the world,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy added.
The invaders deliberately set fire to Ukrainian fields. Every day, deliberate arson of grain is recorded in five, seven regions. According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, it is several thousand hectares.
Based on the results of a survey conducted by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, the majority of surveyed Ukrainians who went abroad due to the war claim that they want to return to Ukraine when the opportunity arises, but 65% still plan to stay in the country where they are temporarily staying, and 9% – to move to another country. Currently, about 5.6 million Ukrainians who crossed the border after February 24 stay outside Ukraine in Europe.
Over 600K people cast their vote in the poll “What shall we do with the coat of arms of the USSR on the shield of the Motherland monument?” In the Diia application, Ukrainians are asked to choose one of three options: 1. Leave everything as is. 2. Remove the coat of arms of the USSR. 3. Replace it with the State Emblem of Ukraine. The survey continues, its results have not yet been revealed.
Eastern regions
Kharkiv oblast
The russians launch constant artillery strikes on settlements in Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kharkiv districts of the region. Private houses and outbuildings are damaged.
Active fighting continues in the region. The enemy is concentrating on defending occupied positions. In Izium, the invaders assaulted Dovhenke. The enemy withdrew with losses.
According to the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, during the day in Kharkiv oblast, 5 civilians were injured by russian shelling: 1 person in Bohodukhiv district, 2 people in Izium district and 2 people in Kharkiv district. Unfortunately, a 55-year-old man was killed in Slatyne, Kharkiv district.
According to the head of Tsyrkuny community, Mykola Sikalenko, the invaders are destroying Tsyrkuny village with continuous shelling. There has been no power supply for five months and no gas supply for about two months. There are no shops left in the community. All were destroyed by shelling.
The shelling of Zolochiv damaged residential houses, destroyed a garage and a truck, and a wheat field caught on fire.
Donetsk oblast
According to General Staff, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an assault by the invaders toward Dolyna. Russia continued shelling the territory of the region with artillery.
The russians carried out continuous shelling throughout the free territory of Donetsk oblast. Bakhmut district is suffering the most today. 1 person was killed in Bakhmut and 5 more were injured.
In the morning the russians launched 2 missile strikes at New York near a kindergarten. Shelling continues in Zvanivka community, 5 houses in Verkhnokamianka and 2 in Zvanivka were damaged. In Siversk, 1 building was destroyed completely and 1 was damaged. No casualties.
Kramatorsk district was also under fire. A rocket attack was launched on Kramatorsk. The russians hit an industrial zone. There were no casualties.
1 person was injured by three russian rocket strikes on Kostiantynivka. An industrial building and a private house were damaged and windows were broken in surrounding houses.
In Cherkasy community, Novomykolaivka was shelled and the roof of a house was damaged. The information on casualties is being verified.
Another body was removed by rescuers from the rubble of a multi-storey building in Chasiv Yar. 48 bodies have already been found at the scene, while 9 people were rescued. The search for survivors continues.
According to the head of Sloviansk City Civil-Military Administration, Vadym Liakh, the enemy shelled Sloviansk. Zevs Keramika plant was damaged. There were no casualties.
According to Mariupol City Council, in the russian-occupied Mariupol, residents tripped mines downtown.
According to the head of Kramatorsk City Civil-Military Administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko, the russian troops launched two strikes on Kramatorsk. They hit a forest belt and an industrial zone. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
Luhansk oblast
According to the head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Hyday, russian invaders intensified DRG operations in Donetsk oblast. Liha mercenaries speaking Ukrainian and dressed in Ukrainian military uniforms are attacking Ukrainian checkpoints. He noted that our defenders do not allow the enemy to seize Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianka.
58 invaders eliminated during the seizure of Rubizhne and Sievierodonetsk were buried in Luhansk. Currently, russia insists that its occupying troops’ losses in the war are low.
Northern regions
Kyiv oblast
A delegation of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, namely Vice-President of Uruguay Beatriz Argimón, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Namibian Parliament Peter Katyavivi and Speaker of the National Assembly of South Afrikan Parliament Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula came to Irpin, Bucha and Dmytrivka to witness the aftermath of russian aggression.
Law enforcement authorities of Kyiv oblast have interviewed about 1.5K victims and witnesses to collect evidence of war crimes committed by russians in Irpin. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, 269 bodies have been exhumed and sent for forensic examination. Police have conducted more than 7,000 inspections of damaged and destroyed housing and civilian infrastructure.
Since the war began, air raid sirens have sounded 447 times in Kyiv. According to the Digital Kyiv app, it lasted 481 hours and 26 minutes, which adds up to more than 20 days.
According to Kyiv RMA, rescuers have disposed of 145 explosive objects in the last 24 hours. The EOD specialists inspected 38.95 hectares of territory in the oblast, 20 objects, and 1.5 km of power lines. In total, more than 51K explosive objects have been found and cleared in Kyiv oblast.
A total of 209 educational institutions in Kyiv oblast were damaged due to the hostilities. One of these is the Makarov Professional Medical College, damaged due to russian shelling. Currently, the windows are being replaced and the roof is being repaired. According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the college restoration is financed from the reserve fund of the state budget.
As part of the government’s relocation program, Kyiv oblast welcomed 17 companies from other regions of Ukraine with ongoing hostilities. Currently, 4 companies are transporting their production equipment. 34 consider offers of vacant industrial and warehouse premises for relocation.
A total of 3 140 residential buildings and more than 460 educational institutions in Kyiv oblast have been prepared for the heating season. The Kyiv Military Administration considers transferring some boiler houses in the oblast to alternative heating types.
11 residential buildings are being restored in Kyiv. They suffered most damage from missile strikes by the russian invaders. Construction workers are insulating the exterior, replacing broken windows, reinforcing structures and dismantling destroyed concrete structures. According to the Kyiv City State Administration, they found a fragment of a russian missile in an elevator shaft in one of the buildings.
The rescuers held a tour for the kids from the SmartTik Educational Center. The children toured the Fire and Rescue Unit in Brovary, tried on firefighters’ uniforms and had a chance to sit behind the wheel of a fire truck.
Zhytomyr oblast
Over a hundred russian artillery shells have been found in Malyn community within a week, reported Vitaliy Bunechko, Head of Zhytomyr RMA. The territory of the community was cleared from explosive objects by the EOD specialists from the State Emergency Service.
In the forests of Zhytomyr oblast, unexploded ordnance detonates due to the heat, which leads to fires. Sometimes firefighting teams respond to put out fires up to 10 times a day. Since the beginning of the year, the foresters of Zhytomyr oblast have managed to contain and put out a total of 45 large fires. Forestry workers use quadcopters and surveillance systems to continuously monitor the fire situation in the oblast.
Since the beginning of July, Zhytomyr oblast has received more than 25 trucks with humanitarian aid from UNICEF. According to the Zhytomyr RMA, the supplies will be delivered to neuropsychiatric boarding schools, social care institutions, territorial communities, and primary health care centers. The aid received includes more than 200 water tanks with a capacity of 1,000 and 300 liters. They will be handed over to educational institutions in the oblast.
A UNICEF mobile children’s center will be set up in Zhytomyr. A range of activities and events are planned to cheer up, support, entertain and educate internally displaced children and children of socially vulnerable categories.
Sumy oblast
The SBGS reports that russian troops continue to shell the border areas of Sumy oblast. Bilopillia, Krasnopilla and Shalygine communities came under enemy fire. According to the Sumy RMA, a residential building was damaged due to the shelling of one of the villages in the Putyvl district.
In Trostyanets, on Pryvokzalnaya Square, volunteers and rescue workers continue to sort out the rubble of destroyed shops. “Dobrobat” volunteers made 32 trips to the communities of Sumy oblast. They work on destroyed facilities, remove the rubbles and clear up the area.
Residents of Sumy oblast make camouflage nets for the Ukrainian military. In the city of Shostka, volunteers have been weaving camouflage nets for the Armed Forces for two years. They have recently learned how to make “kikimora” camouflage suits for snipers and scouts. The completed work is immediately sent to the brigades at the front.
Chernihiv oblast
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, during a working trip to Chernihiv oblast, awarded representatives of the combined pyrotechnic squad of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine performing the task of the region demining. In total, 70 employees of the State Emergency Service and 27 pieces of equipment were involved in the work in the oblast.
Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk visited Chernihiv oblast on a working trip. The delegation inspected school shelters in Novyi Bykiv, Talalaivka and Bezuglivka communities, conversed with large families from Nizhyn and Chernihiv. Vereshchuk emphasized that restoring the life of de-occupied communities is a top priority.
Chernihiv RMA reports that the government allocated UAH 150 million to restore the full operation of the Chernihivvodokanal. It is important to restore heat and water supply in settlements to ensure their normal life. The government provided 400 million hryvnias for priority measures to restore the region.
The work on restoration of residential buildings and a school in the village of Yagidne is underway. All damages are recorded and entered in the register. In fact, all inhabitants of the village, including 50 children were held hostage in the basement of the school by occupiers. 10 people died of suffocation, 7 were killed and one went missing due to invaders’ brutality.
To improve access to medical services, mobile teams of doctors will work in the villages of Chernihiv oblast affected by hostilities. Chernihiv RMA reported that the project will be implemented in those areas where medical facilities are damaged and there is no appropriate transport connection in the territory of Chernihiv, Prylutky and Nizhyn districts.
A modular town in the village of Novoselivka is being constructed. 180 first houses were installed. The Polish government helps ensure people left without housing have a place to stay. It is planned to install three modular towns.
The national art project “ARTPEREMOGA” was launched in Chernihiv. As part of the project, a number of events were held for children who were injured due to the russian military aggression. The event was held at the initiative of the commander of the combined forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Serhiy Naev. In the future, the organizers plan to cover Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Lutsk and Lviv with such actions.
Central regions
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration informed that in the night, russian troops shelled Nikopol district twice. Chervonogrigorivska and Myrivska communities were also under fire.
Power line was damaged in Chervonogrihorivska community. Social infrastructure facility was damaged in Myrivska community. According to the preliminary information, there are no victims.
The Ukrainian military shot down 2 drones in the Nikopol region.
Ksenia Ruzaykina, a 15-year-old resident of Kryvyi Rih, painted walls of her entrance with patriotic pictures.Now it is decorated with Patron Dog, “Ukrainian War Geese” and the map of Ukraine with doves of peace.
Vinnytsia oblast
About 200 tons of humanitarian aid for five military units were transferred from Vinnytsia reserve. Vinnytsia Mayor Serhiy Morgunov said that this is mainly artesian water and hygiene products.
In Vinnytsia, 46K internally displaced persons used the services of humanitarian center, which has been operating since April.
Three buggies, created by Vinnytsia inventors by the order of the military and volunteers, are now used for special operations and evacuation of wounded people.
Poltava oblast
Thanks to the Swiss-Ukrainian DECIDE project – “Decentralization for the development of democratic education”, a summer club for children of immigrants and residents of the city was opened in the Pyriatyn community. 65 children are participating. The club combines entertainment, interactive quests and civilian education.
A part of Luhansk University will operate in the building of the former diocesan school in Lubny. Seven institutes and colleges of LNU named after Taras Shevchenko were evacuated from Starobilsk to Lubny.
Unknown persons poured red paint on the double-headed eagle and left the inscription “occupier” on the monument installed at the resting place of Peter I. This monument is painted not for the first time. It can be dismantled as part of the de-russification campaign.
Southern regions
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Two enemy’s cruise missiles hit the workshop of an enterprise in Zaporizhzhia. A fire broke out. According to preliminary data, 7 people were injured. Rescue operations are ongoing.
According to Zaporizhzhia RMA the situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction has not drastically changed. The collision line runs through the settlements of Kamianske, Stepnohirsk, Orihiv and the Hulyaipole-Polohy direction.
The enemy shelled the positions of the Ukrainian defenders 51 times using tank weapons, rocket and barrel artillery along the entire line of contact.
The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Prymorske, Hulyaipole, and Kamianske settlements. 27 reports on destruction of civilian infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling by the russian occupying forces were received.
The enemy continues to actively shell the Hulyaipole community. Yesterday, the police received 22 reports of the armed aggression by representatives of the russian army against the civilian population in the area. Private houses were damaged, as well as fields with Ukrainian crops. Over 600 hectares of grain crops burned in the Hulyaipole territorial community. More than 800 hectares of crops were destroyed as a result of enemy fire in Malia Tokmachka.
Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov claims that a convoy of 40 units of russian military equipment towards Kherson has been moving in Melitopol.
1 172 people were evacuated from the region, 301 of them were children. Almost 40K people managed to evacuate last month. Currently, 96K IDPs are registered in the region.
During January-June 2022, 5 100 people found work using the employment services. These are 168 unemployed internally displaced persons and 93 unemployed ATO/Joint Forces Operation participants.
Mykolaiv oblast
Russian troops struck Bereznehuvate district in Mykolaiv oblast with seven rockets from the Smerch anti-aircraft missile system. Law enforcement officers documented 83 damaged infrastructure facilities. There are victims among the civilian population. Bashtanka and Bereznehuvate were also under enemy fire.
One person was killed as a result of shelling communities of the Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts by the troops of the russian federation.
There are settlements in Mykolaiv oblast where russian troops destroyed 70 to 90% of all buildings, including residential and administrative buildings. According to Mykolaiv RMA, such villages and settlements are not subject to restoration
Odesa oblast
The enemy launched a rocket attack on Odesa Oblast this night. As a result, the pig farm building was destroyed. There are no casualties.
There are 2 surface and 2 underwater missile carriers equipped with 24 Calibers, ready to launch missile strikes, as well as 2 large amphibious ships in the northwestern part of the Black Sea
Kherson oblast
Ukrainian defenders struck the enemy’s buildup of forces in Chkalov and the ammunition depot in Chornobayivka at night. This is reported by the South Operational Command.
Ukrainian aviation struck an ammunition depot and enemy concentration in the Novopetrivka area of Kherson oblast.
So far, the enemy’s confirmed losses during the night are 11 soldiers, 3 units of armored vehicles and 2 units of motor vehicles. Other losses are being investigated.
Representatives of the occupation authorities of Kherson oblast told the team of the Kherson Regional Academic Theater of Dolls that they present the “new director”. And the actors who lived in the dormitory must leave it. Earlier, the russian military abducted and beat the director of the theater after meetings on Freedom Square.
Excursions have been suspended in the Askania-Nova reserve, located in the temporarily occupied territory. However, the team continues to keep donations and protect the territory of the steppe. The animals of the zoo and dendrological park receive proper care.
Western regions
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the security situation towards Volyn and Polissia has not changed significantly, but a strict ban was imposed on citizens visiting forests in the north of Volyn oblast. The border with belarus has been guarded. In case of provocations of the Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense and volunteer units are ready for decisive action.
Almost 33K people left Ukraine through the western border. Instead, over 33K citizens of our country returned.
Volyn
Anti-traffic barriers are being erected along the border strip with belarus in Kamin-Kashir oblast. The work is carried out by a mechanized engineering group, which with the help of special equipment, digs a ditch and creates a mound of soil in potentially threatening directions, as an additional obstacle to ground enemy intervention.
Since the war began, over 70K internally displaced persons have been accepted in Volyn.
The Volyn RMA reported that humanitarian aid such as clothing, hygiene products, sleeping bags and power banks was sent for Ukrainian defenders from Volyn to the front line.
As part of the artistic marathon “Art Battalion” in Lutsk, a free master class on pottery for displaced people was held. It will be conducted every Monday at the Korsaki Museum of Modern Ukrainian Art.
A “chocolate” fair was housed in Lutsk. The children made various chocolate products: cookies, cupcakes, some even cakes and pop cakes, and sold them. UAH 3 850 were recovered during the event. The funds were transferred to the Armed Forces.
As part of the charity art project “Together we will win” in the House of Culture of the village, a concert of amateur bands and individual performers of the institution took place in Bogolyub.
Zakarpattia oblast
The Western Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine-Western Border reported that a man who illegally entered the territory of Ukraine was detained at the Ukrainian border. The detainee reported that he was a belarusian border guard and decided to violate the law to join the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the war against the russian aggressor. The man also said that he had like-minded people, but they were discovered on the way to the border.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
The Verkhovyna District State Administration reported that from the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, by joint efforts, a car, generator, welding machine, chainsaw, hygiene products and food products were sent to the 52nd rifle battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Lviv oblast
Consultation and coordination centers will be opened in seven districts of Lviv Oblast to unite the efforts of volunteer organizations, foundations and authorities in communities to help displaced people.
FORUM REBULD.UA LVIV 2022 will be held in Lviv, where the reconstruction of Ukraine will be discussed.
The children’s band of the National Academic Choir Chapel “Dudaryk” performed the song “We were born in a great hour”. The children sang the march of Ukrainian nationalists to support the spirit of the Ukrainian army.
Teachers of one of Lviv’s lyceums organized the educational project “Conversations in Ukrainian” for internally displaced people living in a modular town in Sikhiv.
Rivne oblast
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Rivne oblast reported that a group of pyrotechnicians of the Rivne State Emergency Service went to clear the territory of Kyiv oblast from russian munitions. This is already the third rotation of Rivne sappers. During the first two trips, they examined almost 900 hectares of territory and found over 3 300 modern ammunition.
Rivne oblast accepted the all-Ukrainian relay – the state flag measuring 12 by 6 meters was transferred from the neighboring Lviv oblast. The flag is part of the campaign “Everything is Ukraine. Everything is a victory. Everything is the Armed Forces”. The last point where they plan to deploy the state symbol should be the liberated Crimea.
The musician from Rivne played over 60 street concerts. He transfers the collected funds to the Armed Forces. Maksym Prokopchenko toured the cities of Volyn, Lviv Oblast, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Zakarpattia, Prykarpattya and Rivne Oblast.
Ternopil oblast
Residents of Chortkiv region purchased and sent 8 cars to the military with their own funds. Off-road vehicles and buses will be used by servicemen of Chortkiv Teroborona, carrying out combat missions in the East of Ukraine and in the southern direction.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Food kits have been sent by the international charity fund “World Center Kitchen” to the immigrants to Shepetiv Region.
The Red Cross Society of Ukraine received humanitarian aid for displaced persons living in Netishyn. The Slavutsk City Council reported that 1 200 food kits were received.
Chernivtsi oblast
Volunteers from Vyzhnychyna delivered medicines, hygiene products and long-term food products to the soldiers at the front.
Bukovyna philanthropists transferred humanitarian aid to the Novoselytsk community. It is about food products for displaced people.
International support
The Secretary General of the European External Action Service, Stefano Sannino, at a meeting of the defense and foreign policy committees of the European Parliament stated that the European Union is considering the possibility of providing Ukraine with the fifth package of military aid in the amount of 500 million euros.
The Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz approved a new supply of military aid to Ukraine.
The Lithuanian President Nauseda called on the West to break economic ties with the russian federation.
Lithuania did not allow 34 russian trucks to enter its territory, carrying cargo to the Kaliningrad region of the russian federation. Carriers tried to transport auto parts, wood, furniture, alcoholic beverages and other sanctioned goods.
From August 1, Germany will stop buying russian coal, and from December 31, it will give up russian oil.
Germany will transfer Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled guns, MARS multiple-launch rocket systems, Panzerhaubitze self-propelled artillery systems and the IRIS-T SLM air defense system to Ukraine. The list is published on the website of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is not disclosed when it should be delivered for security reasons.
