Towards Volyn and Polissia, the reconnaissance groups might attempt to detect positions and nature of our troops’ activities in the areas bordering the republic of belarus.
Towards Siversk, the enemy keeps its units in border areas of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts to demonstrate their presence and monitor actions of the Defense Forces units. Enemy artillery shelled settlements of Nova Sloboda and Starikove, Sumy oblast, and Karpovychi and Mykolaivka, Chernihiv oblast. The enemy actively uses UAVs and electronic warfare.
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy launched artillery shelling of the city of Kharkiv and settlements of Bairak, Cherkaski Tyshky, Chornohlazivka, Dementiivka, Korobochkine, Kutuzivka, Nove, Petrivka, Prudianka, Sosnivka, Stara Hnylytsia, Stary Saltiv, Ukrainka, Zamulivka and Zolochiv.
The invaders tried to oust our troops from Dementiivka. But our soldiers successfully repelled several assaults on the village and forced the enemy to withdraw.
Towards Sloviansk, the invaders shelled settlements of Adamivka, Barvinkove, Dibrovne, Husarivka, Khrestyshche, Kostiantynivka, Mazanivka, Nikopol, Nova Dmytrivka, Sulihivka and Velyka Komyshuvakha.
Enemy units conducted assault actions to improve tactical positions near Dovhenke, Ivanivka, Krasnopillya and Mazanivka. Ukrainian soldiers skillfully defended, inflicted significant losses on invaders and forced them to withdraw. The enemy’s attempt to conduct a combat reconnaissance near Dolyna shared the same destiny.
Towards Kramatorsk, there were no active enemy’s operations. Our positions near Maiaky, Raihorodka, Kryva Luka, Verkhnokamianske and Pryshyba were shelled. There were also airstrikes near Serebrianka and Spirne.
Towards Bakhmut, there was artillery shelling in the areas of Bakhmut, Berestove, Maiorsk, Novoluhanske, Soledar, Vershyna and Yakovlivka. The airstrikes were launched near Berestove, Bilohorivka, Vershyna and Yakovlivka.
When trying to advance towards Spirne – Ivano-Darivka, the enemy suffered losses and chaotically retreated.
Towards Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, the enemy continues shelling our positions from available ground weapons along the entire contact line to hinder the actions of our troops. The airstrike was launched near Novoandriivka.
Towards the South Buh, main efforts of the enemy focus on keeping seized positions. Air reconnaissance was intensified. Settlements of Blahodatne, Kalynivka, Liubomyrivka, Murahivka, Nova Zoria, Oleksandrivka, Osokorivka, Partizanske, Poliana, Prybuzke, Ternivka and Velyka Kostromka were shelled with barrel artillery.

The Ministry of Finance reports that Ukraine has received a grant from the United States for $ 1.7 billion. In May, the U.S. Congress adopted a bill on a $40 billion financial aid package to Ukraine.

Eastern regions
Kharkiv oblast
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the russian troops shelled Kharkiv’s districts and Bezruky, Dementiivka, Lisne, Prudianka, Ruski Tyshky, Slatyne and Zolochiv settlements with artillery and multiple rocket launchers. The Ukrainian troops also repelled the invader’s attempt to storm Dementiivka village, Kharkiv oblast.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, six fires broke out in Kharkiv as a result of the shelling of the Industrial District. Garages, outbuildings, houses and enterprises were on fire. Medics hospitalized 6 people with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. The condition of all injured is moderate.
According to the police, overnight the russian troops destroyed a sports ground in Kharkiv with missile strikes. Two rockets landed between buildings in the Shevchenkove district. There were no casualties.
The enemy once again shelled Zolochiv. Houses were destroyed, electricity and gas networks damaged.
Donetsk oblast
Ukrainian troops repelled four attempted assaults by the Russian troops. The Russian troops suffered losses and withdrew chaotically as they attempted to advance towards Spirne – Ivano-Darivka.
According to the head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, Vadym Liakh, the russian troops shelled Sloviansk last night. As a result of the strikes, several private houses were damaged and a woman injured.
Rescuers have already removed 43 killed, including 1 child, from the rubble of a multi-storey building in Chasiv Yar. 9 people were injured. State Emergency Service workers cleared about 70 percent of the rubble.
According to Mariupol mayor’s councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, russian invaders started exhuming the first mass grave near the Nekropol cemetery. People with identification of Ukrainian authorities and medics were buried there.
Luhansk oblast
The invaders do not stop shelling the region’s settlements, looking for weak points in our defense with the help of DRGs, which the Ukrainian defenders successfully destroy. Our artillerymen are precisely destroying russian ammunition depots deep in the back. Now the invaders are setting up depots in schools and kindergartens to blame imaginary casualties on the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Hayday, seven export-oriented enterprises in Luhansk oblast received help from the state and resumed production.

Northern regions
Kyiv oblast
The first meeting of the British-Ukrainian infrastructure reconstruction group was held in Warsaw. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv RMA Oleksiy Kuleba. The Ukrainian team presented the reconstruction plan of the Kyiv oblast. The focus was on quality and quick restoration of housing, social and transport infrastructure.
The USAID Memorandum on Energy Security has been signed. It provides for seeking and using international technical assistance in modernization and renewal of the heat supply in Kyiv oblast. As part of cooperation, USAID will first help organize the heating season in Borodianka and Makariv communities.
Another body of a civilian killed by the invaders was found in the village of Blystavytsia, Kyiv oblast. This was reported by the head of the Main Department of the National Police of the Kyiv region Andriy Nebytov. The body was found in the aggressors’ former positions in the Bucha region. The killed man was wearing civilian clothes. 1 342 bodies of civilians killed by the invaders have been found in the oblast.
The head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Serhii Kruk recognized the best EOD specialists of Kyiv oblast. Since the beginning of April works on clearing explosive objects have continued in the oblast. More than 17 000 hectares of territory have been cleared. About 49 000 IEDs have been recovered and transported.
More than 700 educational facilities in Kyiv oblast have been checked for availability of shelters, reported the Kyiv RMA. 162 kindergartens and 240 schools have shelters. The works continue to set up shelters in the remaining facilities.
The Kyiv City State Administration reported that nearly 1 400 citizens had the first aid training organized by the city.
RMA reported that the farmers of Kyiv oblast have begun collecting grain crops of the new harvest.
Valeria Yezhova, a 10-year-old checkers champion, donated 21,000 hryvnias to the Sergei Prytula Charity Foundation. Valeria collected the money by playing with passers-by on the streets of Kyiv for a donation to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Zhytomyr oblast
Achille Campagna, a lawyer from San Marino, came to Zhytomyr to meet with victims of the russo-Ukrainian war. While russia is telling its citizens that it does not shoot at civilian targets in Ukraine, Achille Campagna is representing the victims at the international criminal court in Hague for free. He has already collected about 40 applications from Ukrainian families and submitted them to the court.
Almost 40K internally displaced persons reside in the educational institutions of Zhytomyr oblast. The Ministry of Reintegration ordered the regions to provide alternative shelter to IDPs living in such places. This is due to the need to get schools and kindergartens of the oblast ready for the new school year.
Zhytomyr oblast received a 60-ton charity shipment from Japan that will be sent to medical facilities. According to the Zhytomyr RMA, part of the medical supplies will be sent to other oblasts affected by the war. Thanks to the oblast’s benefactors, another batch of first-aid kits has been delivered to servicemen of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade.
Sumy oblast
The Sumy oblast police are documenting the consequences of shelling of populated areas. Russian troops shelled the villages of Katerynivka, Starykove, Bychivsk and Sosnivka of the Shostkinsky district. Two power lines were damaged due to the shelling. According to these facts, criminal proceedings have been opened.
The regional military administration informed that the work on restoration of the bridge over the Psel river is in progress. The destroyed and damaged structural elements are being currently dismantled on the 200-meter bridge. The bypass road from Lebedyn to Sumy has almost doubled.
Dmytro Zhivytskyi, the head of Sumy MRA, reports that a new program will be implemented in Sumy oblast to provide bread to vulnerable population groups and forced migrants. This was discussed at a meeting with representatives of the UN World Food Program. Negotiations with producers who work in the communities of the region are underway.
Secondary school No. 7 is equipped with a shelter with two exits and navigation in Romny. All networks and the alarm system are functioning, furniture is installed and the Internet is connected. The Sumy MRA notes that the oblast focuses on creating a safe educational environment for children.
Chernihiv oblast
Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv MRA, announced that the Association of Architects of Paris will help Chernihiv oblast to attract philanthropic funds and experts from France for high-quality reconstruction of the region. The head of the Association, Martin Duplantier, inspected the destroyed Gagarin Stadium and the Museum of Ukrainian Antiquities named after V. Tarnovsky, the “Ukraine” hotel in Chernihiv, and also visited the damaged villages of the Nizhyn district.
More than 33K explosive objects were discovered and defused in the oblast. According to the information of the State Emergency Service, in Chernihiv oblast, pyrotechnic and underwater demining teams were involved in disposal of explosive objects 19 times during the day, and 228 units were removed.
The damaged infrastructure is being restored in Chernihiv oblast. Currently, elements of a temporary modular town are being erected in the Bobrovytsia microdistrict, roofs are being installed in the houses of the village of Yagidny, and highways are being repaired in major traffic directions.
The Chernihiv maternity hospital received a new “ambulance” car with equipment for helping newborns. The car was purchased thanks to donations from the American “Zynga” company and the help of volunteers from Belgium and the Netherlands.
Today, 7 large families from Chernihiv received modern laptops, stationery and goodies. This was facilitated by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories and the “SOS Children’s Towns Ukraine” charity fund. The profile department of MRA has prepared documents for these families to obtain housing for rent for just UAH 1.
Central regions
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
The head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Valentyn Reznichenko reported that night in the region was quiet and calm.
The head of Kryvyi Rih Regional Military Administration Yevhen Sytnychenko informed that russian military shelled Zelenodolsk with ‘Uragan’ MRL system and barrel artillery. Enemy hit an open area of the city near one of the enterprises. Stubble caught on fire due to shelling. There are no victims.
In Ingulets microdistrict of Kryvyi Rih, after the shelling of russian troops with Tornado-S MRL system, the damaged buildings have been repaired.
Vinnytsia oblast
About 300K UAH was collected at the “Fine City” festival, held in Vinnytsia at the weekend. Funds will be donated to the Azov regiment needs.
In Vinnytsia, during a charity football tournament, 23K UAH was collected to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At the “Promavtomatika” enterprise, devices capable of helping our military to survive without a centralized power supply are manufactured. The multi-channel fast charging unit “Bandera Power” weighs only 6-8 kilograms.
Kirovohrad oblast
Volunteer defense forces of the region were created in Kirovohrad region, said the head of the council of this formation Serhiy Shulga. Detachments will not receive a salary and are reserve forces for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Poltava oblast
The Ukrainian-Swiss project to provide free medical assistance was implemented in villages of Poltava region.
An initiative group, headed by ATO veteran Eduard Gozhi, is collecting signatures for creating a military cemetery in the park named after Kotlyarevsky in Poltava.
The region received 4 wagons with food, hygiene products and clothing for internally displaced persons from Great Britain.
On July 11 and 12, psychologist Lyudmila Hrydkovets held a seminar for ministers of various religious denominations in Poltava Regional Library. They were taught to communicate with servicemen who are being treated in medical facilities.
The expert group formed a list of 384 streets of Poltava community to be re-named. Within the next two weeks, the expert group should propose its options for renaming these streets.
A russian man will be judged in Poltava, seized with leaflets calling for blocking military units.
Cherkasy oblast
Cherkasy sportsman Denys Ryzhy won Luxembourg cross-duathlon championship.

Southern regions
Zaporizhzhia oblast
The situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction has not changed significantly. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied positions.
The occupiers shelled Ukrainian defenders’ positions 52 times using tank gunnery, artillery, and MLRS along the entire contact line.
There were 38 reports of destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by russian occupation forces in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Preobrazhenka, Huliaipole, and Orikhiv.
During the day the civilian population was evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory. A total of 571 people, including 184 children, were evacuated.
Local residents report a fire at the base of the military unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations taken over by the occupiers in the village of Myrne, Melitopol district. This was announced by Ivan Fedorov, the mayor of Melitopol. The occupiers moved there the military equipment survived after the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed their base near the airfield in Melitopol.
Mykolaiv oblast
According to the South Operational Command, the enemy conducts shelling from barrel artillery, rocket salvo systems and periodically launches airstrikes to constrain the actions of the Ukrainian forces.
At dawn, the enemy launched a massive rocket-artillery attack on Mykolaiv and its suburbs with “Smerch” salvo rocket systems and S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems. As a result of shelling, a gas pipeline, a school and two medical institutions, a trolley bus depot, shops of a fishing enterprise, and several residential high-rise buildings were damaged. 12 people were injured. Debris analysis is ongoing.
A boiler house was destroyed by a missile strike in Bashtanka. As a result, a gas leak occurred, and one person died. The information about the scope of destruction and victims is being clarified.
In total, 30 people were injured in Mykolaiv oblast over the past day. There are no children among the victims.

Odesa oblast

Kherson oblast
According to the South Operational Command, Ukrainian defenders hit two ammunition warehouses in Kherson oblast – in Nova Kakhovka and in Charivny.
At night, the Ukrainian military neutralized a subversive reconnaissance group consisting of up to 10 people in the Beryslav district of Kherson oblast.
According to firing mission results, the enemy lost 52 occupants, a “Msta-B” howitzer, a mortar, 7 units of armored vehicles and vehicles, as well as a warehouse with ammunition in Nova Kakhovka.
In the course of a special operation, the Intelligence Services of Ukraine freed five citizens of Ukraine held captive by the russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson oblast. A serviceman of the Armed Forces, a former police officer and three civilians are among the released people. One of them has a serious combat wound.
Two local deputies were notified of suspicion of collaborative activity in Kherson oblast. According to the investigation, the suspects helped establish the illegal power of the russian federation. The russian military is strengthening roadblocks and preparing for street battles in Kherson. Western regions
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the security situation towards Volyn and Polissia has not changed significantly, but a strict ban was imposed on citizens visiting forests in the north of Volyn oblast. Volyn
The parish of the village of Bilopol, in the Volodymyr district, joined the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
The Lyceum director Yuliya Stepaniuk reported that in the lyceum of the village of Zimne, Volodymyr-Volyn district, a bomb shelter with an area of 378 square meters is being set up for students and teachers. 350 students and school employees can be there simultaneously. UAH 150K were allocated from the community budget.
The LYGIAI association from Vilnius handed over a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, worth 45 580 euros to the Volyn Regional Territorial Medical Association for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood. The car is equipped with everything needed even for delivery. This vehicle will be used as a mobile hospital.
Low-income residents of the Lutsk community received food packages from the Only Together Foundation. A total of 3 470 food kits were distributed. In addition, the Foundation donated hygiene products and washing powders for the Lutsk Territorial Center and its wards.
Zakarpattia oblast
Zakarpattia leads in the number of payments to IDPs at the expense of international organizations. Almost 216K people either have received assistance or their applications are being processed. According to the head of the region Viktor Mykyta, 42.3 million dollars have already been allocated for the forced migrants. These are payments from 13 international organizations, including UNHCR, the International Organization for Migration, the UN World Food Program and others.
The head of the All-Ukrainian Congress of Jewish Hasidic Religious Communities Azman Reuven Moshe brought 30 inverter air conditioners to Zakarpattia.
A youth integration center was opened in Uzhhorod for internally displaced persons and local youth.
In the Zakarpattia Regional Universal Library named after F.Potushnyak and in the children’s library “Kazka”, cognitive training on “green vacations” is conducted for children from families of internally displaced persons every Friday. The program includes such topics as “Forest ecosystems”, “Renewable and non-renewable energy”, “Solar energy”, “Energy conservation”, “Birds in conditions of urbanization”, “City of the future”.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
By the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi for “Exemplary in military service”, three soldiers from the Verkhovyna Region, Vasyl Ilyich, Ivan Andriyovych Denisyuk, and Mykola Mykhailovych Ilyichuk, were awarded with the III degree badge of honor.
Lviv oblast
Law enforcement officers received a report about bombing of the Main Railway Station of Lviv. Due to the danger, about 150 passengers and 50 employees were evacuated from the building. Law enforcement officers searched the premises of the station and the surrounding area, but did not find any explosive objects.
The Lithuanian volunteer organization Blue / Yellow for Ukraine handed over a tow truck to Lviv oblast, necessary for transportation of vehicles, weapons and military equipment. The tow truck is already performing its mission in Donetsk and Luhansk directions.
In Lviv oblast, representatives of catering establishments, which since the beginning of the war, have united within the framework of the World Central Kitchen program, prepared more than 4 million hot meals for internally displaced people, delivered 390 tons of food to temporary shelters and 29K food kits for people who found themselves in difficult life circumstances.
UAH 4.9 million was allocated in Lviv oblast for the repair of 6 dormitories, where displaced persons would temporarily live.
Instructors of the Center for Military-Patriotic Education, Self-Defense and Pre-Medical Assistance group will teach high school students and educators of Lviv to handle weapons. In practice, they will assemble and disassemble a Makarov submachine gun and pistol, shoot from an air rifle and master the basics of self-defense. Training will be held in all districts of the city.
Rivne oblast
A man was sentenced to eight years in prison with confiscation of property. He was instructed by curators from the russian federation to join the ranks of the Armed Forces and inform the enemy about equipment, condition and weak points of the Ukrainian Forces.
Another patriotic mural appeared in Rivne. The author of the mural, Andriy Shostak, embodied the idea of protecting Ukraine in the image of a fragile girl and brave Ukrainian soldiers.
In one of the villages of Diadkovytsia community, the premises of the former school are being renovated to arrange a hostel for displaced people. Almost UAH 1.5 million were involved in repair of the premises at the expense of charitable assistance and the local budget.
Ternopil oblast
In Ternopil, UAH 24.5 million was allocated for repairing shelters in schools.
As part of measures to prevent subversive activities in Ternopil oblast, patrol groups checked the documents of over 15K people and issued summonses to 5 100 men. Every day, up to 25 groups go on patrol in the oblast.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
On the initiative of the Polon Charitable Foundation of St. Valentine, supported by the city council, the Shepetiv Tergromad handed over food and personal hygiene products to the residents of Kharkiv, hiding in bomb shelters from constant enemy attacks.
Chernivtsi oblast
The charitable organization “Right to Protection” in cooperation with “HelpAge International” provided humanitarian assistance to the displaced people of the Sokyryan community: 236 people received about 9 tons of food.
International support
The Council of the European Union supported allocation of 1 billion euros of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine to backup the economy in wartime conditions.
The Prime Minister Ingrid Shimonite announced that the Lithuanian government has approved an 10 million euro aid package for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Lithuanian journalist and TV presenter Andryus Tapinas, who organized the fundraising, announced that Lithuanians bought anti-drones and Wingman radars for Ukraine, which will help the Ukrainian military shoot down russian UAVs.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy following the meeting in Kyiv with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte stated that the Netherlands would provide Ukraine with armored vehicles and self-propelled artillery installations, as well as allocate 200 million euros for payments to teachers, doctors and pensioners.
The Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov announced that Ukraine is now an associate member of the technological cooperation of the armed forces of NATO countries. Ukraine will be able to develop and make changes to key NATO standards on combat management systems and related standards.
