Russia cynically continues to launch missile strikes on targets, killing civilians. Russian invaders hit the city of Chasov Yar in Donetsk oblast with Hurricanes. 15 killed and about 24 people may be under the rubble of a five-storey building. Rescue efforts are underway at the site. We urge you not to ignore the air raid sirens wherever you are on the territory of Ukraine.
Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed significantly.
Towards Siversk, the enemy used barrel and rocket artillery to shelling Bachivsk, Myropillia, Oleksiivka, Volodymyrivka, Volfyne, and Vovkivka of Sumy oblast and Mykolaivka and Senkivka of Chernihiv oblast. In addition, in Vovkivka and Volfyne, the strikes were launched by enemy assault and army aircraft.
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy used tanks, barrel and rocket artillery to shell Kharkiv and settlements of Kharkiv oblast to the north, east and south of the city.

The invaders’ reconnaissance battle towards Mazanivka failed thanks to skillful actions of Ukrainian soldiers. Suffering losses, the enemy withdrew.
Towards Bakhmut, the enemy shelled Berestove, Ivano-Darivka, Kurdiumivka, Luhanske, Pereizne, Shumy and Vyimka with barrel and rocket artillery.
Towards Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, shelling with mortars, tanks, barrel and rocket artillery continues along the contact line.
The enemy launched airstrikes near Avdiivka and Volodymyrivka. Assault actions were aimed at improving the enemy’s tactical position in the area of Novoselivka Druha, yet failed.
Towards South Buh, the aggressor is trying to prevent the advance of the units of the Defense Forces deep into the temporarily occupied territory using available means of fire damage.

The project helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine systematically receive drones for all lines of struggle.
Eastern regions
Kharkiv oblast
According to General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders shelled Kharkiv oblast with aircraft, tanks and artillery. The troops carried out air strikes near Bohorodychne, Mospanove, Petrivka and Verkhniy Saltiv. Additionally, the russian troops shelled at least 13 settlements in Kharkiv oblast.
Control of part of the E40 highway (referring to the M03 route), linking Donetsk with Kharkiv, is likely to be a key target for russia. According to the UK Ministry of Defence, it tries to advance through the Donetsk region.
Russian troops destroyed two floors of a school in Sloboda district, Kharkiv, with a missile strike. There were no casualties.
A missile strike in the private sector of Osnova district, Kharkiv, destroyed a house and damaged the building of a children’s sanatorium. A 62-year-old man was injured.
A 20-year-old woman was killed by russian shelling in Pechenihy settlement, Chuhuiv district. A 42-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized. In Bohodukhiv and Kharkiv districts, no fire broke out in open areas and warehouses.
Donetsk oblast
The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the invader’s attack on Mazanivka, Donetsk oblast. The enemy attempted to enhance the tactical situation near Novoselivka Druha settlement, but had no success and withdrew. Shelling with mortars, tanks, barrel and rocket artillery continued along the contact line. Russian troops conducted reconnaissance combat near Dolyna settlement, but retreated.
The worst situation is in Bakhmut district. In New-York, a missile strike damaged a shop and a house, with no casualties. Soledar suffered two shellings, which burnt down a culture and administrative building by damaging a five-storey building. There were 3 casualties during the day in the city.
In Siversk, a private sector was shelled – one house was destroyed and many were damaged. A multi-storey building was also damaged. 2 people were killed in the city.
Vuhledar was shelled by russians with artillery – 1 person was injured. Another person was injured in Lastochkyne, Ocheretyne community.
Cherkasy community was shelled from Grad MLRs – no casualties. A wheat field in Illinivka community caught on fire due to artillery shelling.
Two five-storey buildings in Chasovyy Yar were destroyed as a result of the rocket attack. More than 40 people were trapped under the rubble of one of them. Rescuers managed to get 15 bodies and save 6 lives at the moment. According to preliminary information, 23 more people, including a 9-year-old child, remain under the rubble. More than 110 tonnes of destroyed structural elements were removed.
In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, russian investigators resumed the exhumation of the dead. People are being forced to testify on accusations of civilian deaths by the Ukrainian troops.
Luhansk oblast
According to the head of Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Hayday, the enemy is unable to advance in Luhansk oblast and is slowing down progress because of the slow delivery of the ammunition. He added that a small area of Luhansk oblast is still fighting, the invaders are assigning russians to leadership positions in the occupied territories, while collaborators are taking over the lower ranks.
According to the Regional Military Administration, the invaders in Luhansk oblast are pulling in troops near Bilohorivka, shelling surrounding settlements, and launching four rocket attacks during the night. Fighting continues and at the same time, the russian troops cannot advance from Lysychansk to Siversk.
The number of attacks and shelling has decreased, without artillery, the invaders are almost powerless. There are no preparations for a so-called referendum in the occupied territories.
Artillerymen of the Royal Brigade defeated a convoy of russian invaders in Luhansk oblast. A dozen and a half russian tanks and BMPs were first stopped and later destroyed.
Northern regions
Kyiv oblast
The head of the Senate of the French Republic Gerard Larcher together with the French senators visited the St. Andrew Church in Bucha. This was reported by the Bucha City Council. “Representatives of russia, as well as its military and political leadership, must be held accountable for their actions”, Gerard Larcher said.
Mine clearance works continue in Kyiv oblast. According to the Kyiv RMA, a total of 22 settlements were inspected and 333 explosive objects were cleared.
The EOD specialists disposed of an enemy trip-wire near a residential house in Bucha region. Severynivka village used to be occupied by russian troops, and the locals still find explosive “gifts” there.
The Kyiv RMA reported that a mobile clinic has started operating next to the damaged hospital in Makarov. The clinic has its own surgery room and X-ray service, an autonomous power and water supply, and the air conditioning system. This modern equipment was donated by the Emergency Management Agency under the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Denmark.
In Kyiv, specialists of Kyivpasstrans restored 2 225 meters of the contact grid, damaged due to the armed aggression of russia. As reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, six trolleybus routes were able to start operating in this area.
“Children. War. The Future” – an exhibition of children’s drawings created during the war was opened in the Kyiv subway. During the first months of the war, thousands of families with children found shelter in the subway stations, and thousands of children’s drawings were created there. The project was initiated by the charitable foundation Future for Ukraine.
In the Darnytsia district of Kyiv, a mural called “Call of the Kin” is being created. The new patriotic work of art is based on the illustration by Yulia Abramovanof the play “Flying Cranes” and will be 25 meters long. In Ukraine, the crane is a symbol of love for the native land.
Zhytomyr oblast
Ambulances and humanitarian cargo were delivered to the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Zhytomyr. The money was raised thanks to the American charity foundation Ukraine Friends. Brock Bierman, head of the foundation, personally escorted the cargo to Ukraine. A total of 100 ambulances will be purchased and delivered to the AFU.
In Zhytomyr oblast, volunteers opened a workshop for processing plates for body armor. The ammunition is handed over to the military and territorial defense forces. They raise money to buy the metal, while other materials are bought with their savings. Soon 20 sets of plates for body armor will be delivered to the servicemen in Kharkiv.
Sumy oblast
The SBGS reports that the enemy continues to shell the territory of Sumy oblast from the territory of the russian federation. Myropillia, Khotyn, Bilopillia, Esman and Shalygine communities came under enemy shelling by MLRS, mortars and AGL. More than a hundred explosions were recorded. Sumy MRA reports that three people were wounded due to the shelling of populated areas of the Khotyn community.
Enemy helicopters attacked Sumy oblast twice. 5 missiles were launched towards the territories of Bilopillia and Myropillia communities. Two people were injured.
A number of youth social initiatives are implemented in three communities of Sumy oblast. The Sumy MRA reports on supporting and financing socially significant projects in Konotop, Chernechchyna and Sad communities. Among them are training in tactical medicine, photo exhibitions and national and patriotic education for young people.
Chernihiv oblast
The State Border Service reports that the russian army does not stop shelling the border territories of Chernihiv oblast. The Semenivka community came under enemy fire.
Three Chernihiv athletes died in the battle for Ukraine – boxers Yaroslav Rudych, Yurii Vorona and kickboxer Yevhen Zvonok. Currently, about 70 representatives of the Ukrainian sports community killed by the russian invaders.
In the village of Yahidne, work continues on restoration of housing destroyed due to the rashists invasion. “Dobrobat” volunteers were the first to start work there. The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine reports that UAH 12.5 million has been allocated for the purchase of construction materials from the regional budget. The government allocated UAH 250 million from the reserve fund of the state budget to carry out priority works in Chernihiv oblast.
Four houses in Chernihiv will be dismantled. After receiving an official examination, the city administration informed their residents about such a decision. More than 2K private houses and 857 apartment buildings were destroyed or damaged due to hostilities in the city. UAH 30 million has been allocated from the city budget for restoration of housing infrastructure.
25K hryvnias were collected during the “Flowers for Victory” charity marathon in Sosnytsia. The program of the event was quite diverse – a floristry show, weaving of camouflage nets, master classes, sale of pastries and drinks. Everyone could contribute to the victory.
Central regions
Vinnytsia oblast
Children’s brass band of the Brailiv House of Culture collected 100K UAH for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Children raised money for night vision devices. Fundraising for a drone is currently underway. Musicians have scheduled a number of performances in Vinnytsia.
In two hours, a five-year-old Artem Kucher by playing chess with Vinnytsia residents on the open air in Konstantin Mohylka Square, collected 1 578 UAH for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The boy is the champion of the Oleksii Butovsky Memorial, a second-class athlete.
A shelter will be built in Vinnytsia region for horses that survived bombing in Kyiv suburbs. About 18K of the required 200K hryvnias have been collected.
Dniptopetrovsk oblast
At night, enemy shelled the Zelenodolsk community. The head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Valentin Reznichenko informed that there are no victims.
In the afternoon, russian troops fired on Velikomykhailiv community, Synelnykiv district. In one of the villages, a haystack and a tractor caught on fire. There are no victims.
Poltava oblast
The “Cultural Defense” project paid a visit to Poltava: during the Poltava stream of stand-up comedians, almost 45K hryvnias were collected to help the Armed Forces.
Cherkasy oblast
Half a hundred IDPs received free legal services in Cherkasy within the “Hospitable Cherkasy” project. It’s purpose is information assistance to temporarily displaced people.
In Poland, Cherkasy sportsman Artem Manko won the silver medal of the Wheelchair Fencing World Cup, the press service of the branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine in Cherkasy region reported.
Southern regions
Zaporizhzhia oblast
The situation has not significantly changed in the Zaporozhzhia direction. The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on improving the tactical position and identifying weak points in the defense of our troops.
The enemy shelled the positions of the Ukrainian defenders 43 times, using tank weapons, rocket and barrel artillery along the entire line of contact.
42 reports were received about destruction of civilian infrastructure objects as a result of shelling by russian occupying forces in the areas of the settlements of Orihiv, Hulyaipole, Primorske, Kamianske.
During the day, rescuers extinguished 5 fires that ignited due to artillery shelling by the russian occupiers.
Yesterday, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service discovered 1 cluster element and 2 rockets in settlements of Zaporizhzhia district. All discovered explosive objects were destroyed.
Mykolaiv Oblast
According to the Mykolaiv RMA, russian troops shelled the settlements of Shyroke and Bereznehuvate communities of the Bashtanka district, as well as the Pervomaysk community of Mykolaiv region. Three people were injured as a result of the shelling.
Ukrainian defenders destroyed 1 enemy ammunition warehouse in Mykolaiv oblast.
The firefighters of Mykolaiv oblast extinguished 3 fires that ignited as a result of enemy shelling over the past day. This is reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv Oblast.
The armed forces of the russian federation damaged or completely destroyed 104 non-military objects on the territory of Mykolaiv oblast. In total, as of July 10, since the beginning of the russian invasion, almost 7K civilian objects have been partially or completely damaged, Mykolayiv RMA reports.
A charity football tournament has ended in Mykolaiv Oblast. 18 teams from the region played for more than a month, having previously contributed to the purchase of a car for the Armed Forces.
Odesa oblast
The Bystre estuary in Odesa Oblast has been opened for passage of ships carrying agricultural products after Zmiinyi (Snake) Island was liberated. This was reported in the press service of the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine. The estuary is used for the passage of ships from the Black Sea to the ports of the Danube. Transporters of agricultural products are currently running there.
In the Black Sea, the enemy’s ship group consists of 2 missile carriers with 15 missiles “Caliber”, as well as 3 large amphibious ships. The South Operational Command informs about this.
Kherson oblast
In the operational zone, the situation is complex, but under control. The enemy continues to conduct hostilities from occupied positions.
The enemy attacked Plotnytsky tract with a Ka-52 helicopter. No losses.
Rocket and artillery units fired at command posts, buildupof equipment and field ammunition depots of the enemy in the Chornobayivka area.
According to the previous information, the enemy lost 58 occupants, 2 Msta-B howitzers, an automated obstacle-setting station “Zhitel”, 3 units of armored vehicles and 12 vehicles. Also, 3 ammunition warehouses were destroyed.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a military unit of the russian military in Kherson. Serhii Khlan, an adviser to the head of the Kherson RMA, reported about it.
The majority of electricians in Kherson oblast refused to enter into labor contracts with the russian authorities, and continue performing their work for free. This was reported by Grouping of troops “Kakhovka”.
Western regions
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the security situation towards Volyn and Polissia has not changed significantly, but a strict ban was imposed on citizens visiting forests in the north of Volyn oblast. The border with belarus has been guarded. In case of provocations of the Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense and volunteer units are ready for decisive action.
41K people left Ukraine across the western border yesterday, and 38K returned.
Volyn
Deputies of the Krakow City Council Jerzy Zyenta, Malgozata Kot and Lukasz Vantuh bought 3 tons of humanitarian aid to Lutsk – food, personal hygiene products, etc. The cargo will be sent to the Ukrainian military, who are on the front lines and who need it in the rear.
16-year-old Ulyana Sukhachevska, with Down syndrome, sells her hand-drawn pictures and donates the money to help the Armed Forces. The girl’s mother, Tatyana, told about it. One of Ulyana’s best paintings is “Flowers”. This work took the first place at an international competition.
Students of Lutsk National University named after Lesya Ukrainka will have the opportunity to learn shooting in a multimedia shooting range. The multimedia fire complex will teach construction of weapons and shooting techniques from models of Makarov pistols, Fort-12 and Kalashnikov assault rifles.
Zakarpattia oblast
At the invitation of the head of RMA Viktor Mykyta, experts from the Austrian company “Burgenland Energy” will arrive in Zakarpattia in the near future. They will analyze the prospects for developing the alternative energy industry in Zakarpattia.
Mukachevo rescuers held a lesson for children who are vacationing at the “Greatest Journey” camp in the village of Yabluniv, where they talked about the daily work of the State Emergency Service soldiers and demonstrated the equipment they use to save lives and property of citizens every day.
The Austrian company “Leier” purchased and transferred two emergency vehicles to Ukraine. The cars will be prepared at the service station and in the coming days will be delivered to the front line for the needs of the military units of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Over 50 business entities moved to Ivano-Frankivsk because of the war, 119 are in the process of preparing documents.
Dean of the Faculty of Psychology of PNU Larisa Zagrai reported that Prykarpattya University in partnership with the “Together for Ukraine” charitable foundation, opened a psychological assistance center for war victims.
Andriy Batyr and Alina Sobol from Ivano-Frankivsk decided to sell their home library and donate the proceeds to the needs of the army. They have already earned over UAH 35K.
Lviv oblast
Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Iryna Mykychak informed that two children who were victims of a rocket attack in the village of Sergiyivka, Odesa oblast, were transported to Lviv in an ambulance. One of the brothers is in a very serious condition.
As part of the “1000 Freedom Cars” initiative, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive 3 cars from Lviv oblast.
An exhibition of paintings and graphics by Pavlo Ponomarenko will be opened in Lviv. The exhibition “Reflections” is the artist’s view of events in his native city of Mariupol, the state and the world in general. The artist lived and worked in the city of Mariupol until March 2022. The war forced the artist to move to Lviv.
Rivne oblast
Orphans from the Rokytniv community have returned from vacation in Spain. This holiday was supported by the Spanish charitable association “Come with us”.
In the Sarnen region, in the village of Stepan, Tetyana Khodareva, a internally displaced person from Donetsk oblast, paints the walls and shelter of the local school with patriotic drawings and thematic paintings.
Two charity tournaments in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were held in the village of Brodnytsia in the Zarichnen region. Local residents organized a charity fair, where they sold various delicacies, as well as their own products and services of craftsmen.
Ternopil oblast
Teachers and students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Ternopil National Medical University together with the Ternopil Regional Communal Interhospital Pharmacy No. 157 launched the production of pastes and powders to preserve the health of the military.
Ternopil will host the plenary exhibition “Zalozetsk Landscapes”. The exhibits will be sold at a charity auction, and the proceeds will be sent to the needs of the Ukrainian military.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi singer Kate Soul (Kateryna Kovalenko) held her first solo concert. The collected funds will be used to purchase a car for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The organizers of the event reported that fishing competitions were held in Netishyn before Fisherman’s Day. As part of the event, the fishing club collected UAH 23 500. All funds collected will go to support the Armed Forces.
Chernivtsi oblast
The city mayor Roman Klichuk announced that the residents of Chernivtsi receive new buses and trolleybuses as humanitarian aid from France, Germany, and the Czech Republic of Europe. The necessary documents are currently being prepared.
As part of a new project by UNICEF and the Ukrainian Catholic University, medical workers hold public lectures and personal meetings on importance of health care for migrants. 80 such meetings have already been held in Chernivtsi oblast, during which medical workers managed to consult over 920 internally displaced persons.
International support
British FV103 Spartan armored personnel carriers are already on the outskirts of Bakhmut.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada reported that the Canadian government has announced new sanctions against the aggressor country of the russian federation, which will apply to land and pipeline transport, as well as production of metals and transport, computers, electronic and electrical equipment and machinery.
The “War is not over” campaign was held in New York. Participants took to the streets of the city to support Ukraine and Ukrainians who continue to resist the russian invasion.
The Czech Republic assumed the presidency of the Council of the EU and expressed its political and military support for Ukraine. The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic stated that the Czech presidency will protect and support sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and help the EU countries in providing military support to Ukraine and compensation for the consequences of the migration wave.
The MI-24D helicopters supplied by the Czech Republic are already in service with the Armed Forces.
At a concert in Rome, the Italian band Maneskin sang the track Gasoline, an excerpt from which was dedicated to Ukraine. The leader of the band shouted from the stage: “Fuck putin! Fuck war! Go all those who are against what I just announced.”
At a concert in Tel Aviv (Israel), the famous band Scorpions supported Ukraine. The frontman Klaus Meine took the Ukrainian flag from a fan and walked with the flag on stage. In addition, stage effects were performed in blue-yellow colors.
