Here is the operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

Towards Volyn and Polissia, units of the Armed Forces of belarus conduct reconnaissance, primarily with UAVs. Airspace will be closed over the southern part of the country until October 7 this year. The ban on flights of civilian aircraft has been valid since February 24.

Towards Siversk, there are no changes in the enemy’s actions.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy conducts defensive actions and tries to improve the tactical position in certain areas. The outskirts and the city of Kharkiv were shelled with barrel and rocket artillery, as well as the settlements of Bairak, Dementiivka, Korobochkyne, Lebiazhe, Mospanove, Nove, Peremoha, Petrivka, Pishchane, Pytomnyk, Slatyne, Svitlychne, Shevelivka, Verkhniy Saltiv, Udy and Zamulivka, not far from Dementiivka, our defenders twice repelled the enemy’s onslaught and threw them back. The airstrike was launched near Petrivka.

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy is trying to improve the tactical position of its units. The enemy shelled with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery at the areas of Dolyna, Chervone, Husarivka, Khrestyshche, Krasnopillia, Mazanivka, Novopavlivka, and Virnopillia. The offensive actions of the enemy in the area of the settlement Bohorodychne failed. The invaders withdrew, suffering losses.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy carried out shelling of civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of the settlements of Karpivka, Kryva Luka, Serebrianka, Siversk and Sloviansk. The airstrike was launched near Tetianivka.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine inflicted a powerful fire damage on enemy positions in the area of Verkhnokamianske, forcing the enemy units to withdraw.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy shelled our positions near Ivano-Darivka, New York, Spirne and in the area of the Vuhlehirskaya TPP. There were airstrikes near Berestove and Pokrovske.

Supported with artillery and tactical aviation, the invaders unsuccessfully tried to launch an offensive in the areas of the settlements of Spirne and Ivano-Darivka. They suffered losses and withdrew.

Fighting continues near Vesela Dolyna.

Towards Avdiivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, shelling from mortars, barrel and rocket artillery along the contact line is ongoing. The enemy carried out airstrikes near Novoandriivka.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy units tried to conduct offensive actions in the area of the settlement of Velyka Artakove. Ukrainian soldiers promptly thwarted this attempt and drove the invaders away. The enemy threatens the critical infrastructure of the region with missile strikes.

The enemy ships continue to perform tasks in the Black and Azov Seas, still blocking civilian navigation in the north-western part of the Black Sea.

The local authorities stress that residents of the occupied Kherson region should leave the area. Those who cannot leave, should get ready for the ongoing hostilities. Ukrainian authorities appeal with the same call to the residents of the occupied Melitopol. The security and humanitarian situation in the region deteriorates.

“By the end of the year, Ukraine will have received about $20 billion more in international assistance and support,” said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

According to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the first four HIMARS systems sent by partner countries cause more damage to the enemy than the classic time-tested 152-caliber guns. Oleksiy Reznikov notes that the current warfare has revealed efficiency of high technologies applied to resisting the aggression.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on creating the DNA registry in Ukraine, necessary to quickly identify people committing criminal offenses or searching for missing persons. Mandatory state registration at the budget expense is subject to genomic information of persons who committed socially dangerous acts. The right to voluntary registration of genomic information will be provided to all citizens of Ukraine, but it will be chargeable.

The electronic library Booknet emphasizes that after the full-scale invasion began, Ukrainians increasingly started reading less russian-language content, including books. Ukrainian authors also began to publish more in Ukrainian rather than russian.

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff, the invaders are defending their previously occupied positions. Russian troops shelled Bazaliivka, Cherkaski Tyshky, Chornohlazivka, Kutuzivka, Mykilske, Piatyhirske, Prudianka, Rubizhne, Ruski Tyshky, Shestakove, Stara Hnylytsia, Staryy Saltiv, Ukrainka and Yavirske settlements with tanks, mortars, artillery and rocket-propelled artillery. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an assault on Kochubeivka-Dementiivka.

A 5-hectare landfill caught on fire in Izium. A poultry complex was also on fire. Barley and wheat fields covering over 25 hectares were on fire in Chuhuiv, Sakhnovshchyna, Slobozhanshchyna communities. Zolochiv community was shelled again.

Two rockets hit a restaurant complex in Solonytsivka community at night. There were no casualties.

The enemy shelled Zolochiv. As a result, 6 private houses were destroyed and the company’s warehouses were on fire.

The invaders launched a rocket strike at a residential area in Kharkiv. 3 civilians, including 1 child, were hospitalized. One residential two-storey building was destroyed and another partially collapsed.

Donetsk oblast

According to the head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, at least 3 people were killed and 8 injured as a result of shelling in Donetsk oblast. The russian troops shelled Avdiivka the most – more than 10 hits on residential areas and civilian infrastructure. Druzhkivka was also shelled – a hospital, the Palace of Culture, residential buildings and a children’s playground were damaged.

According to the head of Sloviansk City Military Administration, Vadym Liakh, the enemy shelled Sloviansk. A direct hit destroyed a private house.

The liberated Pavlivka, Vuhledar community was shelled by the enemy. A rocket attack destroyed one house, with no casualties. 4 people were injured in Zaitseve, Svitlodarsk community. One person was killed and one injured in Pereizne, Zvanivka community.

1 person was killed due to shelling in Maryinka and a fire broke out in fields in Krasnohorivka. In Ocheretyne community, a countryside cooperative in Novoselivka Persha was shelled from Smerch MLRS, with no casualties. In Kostiantynivka, there were at least 5 hits on residential areas – 1 person killed and 3 injured. A dairy plant and a furniture factory were also damaged.

Luhansk oblast

According to the head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Hayday, fighting near the region continues. Russian troops are trying to advance from Luhansk oblast settlements to the first settlements in Donetsk oblast. There is no complete occupation.

In the recently occupied territories of Luhansk oblast, the russians are looking for men: they invite them for well paid jobs, but in reality, they take them to fight against Ukraine.

The police in Luhansk oblast recorded 38 reports from residents about the destruction of housing.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

A curfew in Kyiv oblast will be in effect daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. Temporary restrictions have been extended by the order of the head of Kyiv RMA throughout the oblast from July 10 to July 17.

Routine renovations have been completed in Kyiv oblast at 52 facilities damaged as a result of the russian military invasion. The Kyiv RMA reports that maintenance work at 248 facilities is being carried out at the expense of the state budget reserve fund.

According to the Bucha City Council, a center for psychological assistance and psychosocial support will open in Bucha. The center will assist in documenting war crimes and conduct comprehensive rehabilitation of persons released from captivity. Until now, assistance to community residents has been provided by volunteers and charity projects.

Kyiv City State Administration reported that military defense training for civilians has begun in Kyiv. First, classes will be held for executives of all levels, including principals of schools and pre-schools. In the future, everyone will be able to participate.

An exhibition of war trophies was opened at Andriyivskyy Descent in Kyiv. The exhibits include a russian pilots’ catapult chair, deactivated samples of cluster munitions, part of a missile, personal belongings of invaders, and other items. By scanning a QR code on the exhibits you can find out their origin, the volunteers or the unit that provided it and donate money to support them.

Zhytomyr oblast

In Zhytomyr, the relatives of the paratroopers who were killed in the battles for Ukraine were given state awards. The ceremony took place in the conference hall of Zhytomyr City Council. The state awards were presented to the parents, wives, and children of the fallen soldiers by the heads of local authorities, officers, and commanders of military units of the Zhytomyr Airborne Assault Troops of the Zhytomyr garrison.

In Zhytomyr region, the SSU investigators notified a local resident of suspicion for justifying the criminal actions of the russian army in Ukraine and calling for cooperation with the occupying administration. According to the pre-trial investigation, the resident of Radomyshl, a native of Lipetsk (russia) was actively spreading destructive content on the social network banned in Ukraine.

In Zhytomyr oblast, almost 1K residents who applied for employment services found jobs in June. This is a 1/3 less than in June last year. Job placement of the unemployed decreased significantly in almost all regions and territorial communities as a result of military operations.

Sumy oblast

Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Khotin, Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Shalygine and Esman communities of Sumy oblast came under the enemy fire. The RMA reported that 18 strikes and more than 100 shots from various types of weapons were recorded.

A local farmer of the Krasnopillia community, driving a car, was injured by mine fragments. He is currently hospitalized.

No official evacuation was announced from the border communities of Sumy oblast. However, the authorities are helping residents who want to leave dangerous areas to leave. This was announced by the head of Sumy RMA, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi. He emphasized that the vast majority of people do not want to evacuate and leave their homes.

Border units of the State Emergency Service will receive 100 body armor and a mobile power station. The Sumy Military Administration provided aid to the rescuers.

A charity run with SUP boarding will take place in Sumy. The event is special in that the participants will donate funds for defenders and have the opportunity to receive a free ride on a sup board as a reward. Everyone is invited to run, the distance is 1 kilometer.

Chernihiv oblast

The State Border Service reports that the enemy does not stop shelling Chernihiv oblast. Horodnia, Semenivka and Snovsk communities came under fire again.

A meeting with representatives of the international organization ALPS Resilience was held in Chernihiv RMA. Rebuilding of the critical infrastructure facilities in the oblast was discussed. With the help of this international organization, the dispensary in the Ivanivka community has already been restored.

In Chernihiv oblast, the health campaign for children will not be held due to the threat of air attacks and daily shelling. Children’s health facilities are not ready for opening of the season, because they do not have bomb shelters. Transportation of children is also dangerous.

Central regions

Vinnytsia oblast

Vinnytsia residents sent collimator sights to reconnaissance groups already used to destroy the enemy. According to the Chief Intelligence Directorate, several dozen modern sights, increasing the targeting speed several times, were handed over by the “Podilska hromada” community foundation.

After a long break caused by the russian full-scale invasion, the overhaul of residential buildings has resumed in Vinnytsia: six roofs of multi-storey buildings will be repaired using the local budget funds.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

In the morning, russian occupiers shelled Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the shelling, 1 woman died on the spot, later another young girl died in the hospital. 3 people were shrapnel wounded. In one of the schools, the roof was damaged and windows were broken. 15 buildings, 4 cars, a gas network and an electric substation were also damaged.

In the evening, enemy shelled the territory near the village Radushne, Kryvyi Rih district with MRL system. According to the preliminary information, there are no victims.

Kirovohrad oblast

In Kropyvnytskyi, a monument to the russian poet Alexander Pushkin on the territory of the Pedagogical University was dismantled in accordance with the decision of the advisory council on cleaning up the russian cultural heritage of the region.

Poltava oblast

In a day, a petition on the President’s website about introducing a military administration in Poltava received almost 2 300 votes.

The Poltava City Council purchased 44 Hytera portable radio stations for UAH 31K each for the military.

The Poltava Regional Council considers becoming the owner of the property of the Kremenchuk CHP to receive state funding (a minimum of UAH 100 million) for restoration of the enterprise heating most of high-rise buildings in Kremenchuk.

The National Police have identified 20 people who were listed missing after a rocket attack on the Amstor shopping center. With the help of unique technology, forensic experts continue to identify the victims at the site of the shopping center destroyed by the missile strike.

Shipments for processing of garbage sorted in Poltava are resumed. Previously, garbage could not be taken out for four months due to the full-scale war, the plant in Kharkiv was not working, and local entrepreneurs who collected waste, stopped working.

A neurorehabilitation department will be created in Poltava on the basis of the regional hospital. The day before, the Minister of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Lyashko, visited Poltava oblast. Together with Dmytro Lunin, he visited several hospitals of the region and checked the quality of medical care for immigrants and residents of the region.

Cherkasy oblast

In two and a half months, more than 500 children attended master classes and art meetings organized by the Cherkasy Youth Council. 70% of them are IDPs, the rest are local residents.

An exhibition of the paintings of two artists from Donetsk region, Olga Sabadin and Artur Novikov, takes place in Cherkasy Palace of Youth. According to the cultural expert Vera Shelest, the initiator of the “Evacuation of Art” project, these were volunteers who evacuated these paintings from the territory where hostilities are currently taking place in the beginning of May.

1 500 staples for strengthening the dugouts were made in Cherkasy in three weeks at the request of volunteers.

Employees of the Pushkin and Tchaikovsky museum in Kamianka request to rename it. According to the director of the institution Oleksandr Mushta, the museum reorientation was relevant even before the full-scale war.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the situation has not significantly changed. The enemy is focusing its main efforts on improving the tactical position and identifying weak points in the defense of our troops.

The enemy carried out 43 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders, using tank weapons, rocket and barrel artillery along the entire conflict line.

The occupants shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Prymorske, Orikhiv, and Huliaipole settlements. There were 21 reports of the destruction of civilian infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling by the russian occupying forces in Vasylivka, Polohiv, Huliaipole and Orikhiv communities, and also in suburbs of Zaporizhzhia.

1505 people, including 373 children, were evacuated.

The likelihood of an attack by russian troops is greatest along Velyka Novosilka, which is the border of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions, the RMA said. It was the direction where active combat took place. The enemy tried to surround the Armed Forces.

Employees of the housing and communal sector of Zaporizhzhia repaired about 2,700 m² of roofs destroyed by explosions and about 2,000 broken and damaged windows.

Mykolaiv oblast

In the morning, the army of the russian federation bombarded Mykolaiv with six S-300 missiles. There are no victims. As a result of shelling in Mykolaiv oblast, the maintenance station in Vysunsk, the school building and neighboring residential buildings in Bereznehuvata, private houses, household storage facilities and yard garages in Novosemenivka were destroyed.

Russian troops continued to attack Mykolaiv, the town of Bereznehuvate, the villages of Novomykolaivka and Vysun were also affected. Residential buildings and other property of citizens were damaged. There are victims among the civilian population. This is reported by the Police of Mykolaiv oblast.

Volunteers of the Scottish charity organization “Siobhans Trust” prepared pizza for local residents and displaced people in Kryve Ozero, Pervomaisk district. Volunteers travel across Ukraine and cook pizza for local residents and internally displaced persons. Every month, up to 35K pizzas are baked in the ovens of specially equipped vans.

Odesa oblast

The enemy ship group was reduced by almost half since the weather deteriorated. 2 surface and 1 underwater missile carrier and 3 large amphibious ships remained on guard. 20 Kalibr cruise missiles are ready for launch.

An employee of one of the departments of the migration service of Odesa oblast and two of his accomplices were informed of suspicion. They are suspected of organizing the illegal crossing of men abroad. This was reported in the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The police detained a man who was photographing infrastructure objects in Odesa. This was reported by the patrol police of Odesa oblast.

Kherson oblast

The enemy continues conducting hostilities on the occupied defense lines, does not create new strike groups, mostly adheres to counter-battery tactics.

The enemy tried to make a breakthrough with subversive and reconnaissance groups in the area of Kniazivka and Olhino. There was no success.

The enemy launched rocket and air strikes along the contact line and in the rear areas. The enemy attacked the outskirts of Bila Krynytsia with a pair of Ka-52s, shelled Velyka Kostromka with heavy artillery in Kherson oblast. There were no critical damages or injuries.

Ukrainian aviation struck the enemy’s concentration in the Snigurivka area two times during the day.

An ammunition warehouse of russian troops is on fire in the area of the airfield near Chornobayivka. This was reported by Kherson RMA.

The Ukrainian defenders eliminated 194 occupiers and destroyed 42 pieces of equipment, specifically 2 Grad anti-aircraft guns, 2 command and staff vehicles, 4 anti-aircraft gun-missile complexes “Pantsir-S1”, 1 launcher of the anti-aircraft missile complex “Buk- M2”, 6 self-propelled howitzers of the “Acacia” type, 26 units of automotive equipment, 1 unmanned reconnaissance drone “Orlan-10” and 3 warehouses with ammunition.

The russian invaders are shelling agricultural land with incendiary shells in Kherson oblast. Large-scale fires break out every day, hundreds of hectares of wheat, barley and other grain crops have already burned. Forests are igniting. The police opened criminal proceedings regarding the purposeful destruction of crops in Kherson oblast by the russian military.

The information about improvement of the situation with medicine supply in Kherson oblast, which is spread by russian propaganda, is misinformation. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Western regions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the security situation towards Volyn and Polissia has not changed significantly, but a strict ban was imposed on citizens visiting forests in the north of Volyn oblast. The border with belarus has been guarded. In case of provocations of the Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense and volunteer units are ready for decisive action.

Volyn

The Lutsk charitable foundation “Good Cause” donated a car and an excavator for one of the Volyn military units. Volunteers together with the military visited about 100 families of fallen Heroes who gave their lives in the struggle for Ukraine’s independence with gifts and letters of gratitude.

Food products, drinking water and hygiene products were handed over from the village of Olyky to the defenders who are in the active hostilities zone.

Zakarpattia oblast

The State Emergency Service reported that in Uzhhorod, the “Fairy Tale on Helmets” campaign took place, during which children of the Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity “PADIYUN” painted 22 helmets to help an injured rescuer. The helmets will be sold at a charity auction and the proceeds will be sent to the treatment of a 22-year-old rescuer who was blown up during demining.

Viktor Mykyta, head of the Zakarpattia RMA, together with Hans Peter Doskotsil, head of the Government of Burgenland of the Republic of Austria, visited a town where forced displaced persons from Ukraine live. Burgenland evacuated with its own transport and provided shelter to thousands of Ukrainians.

The Uzhhorod City Council handed over humanitarian aid in the amount of UAH 360K to the Uzhhorod Territorial Defense Battalion.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

1 500 modern first-aid kits for the soldiers of the Armed Forces were transferred from Poland to Prykarpattya.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, charity athletics contests were held in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Jewish community handed over a truck with four-wheel drive to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The community feeds 100 forced migrants with hot lunches every day for free.

As part of the “Together to Victory” action, the creative teams of PC “Mineral” collected UAH 8 500 to help Ukrainian soldiers.

Lviv oblast

301 people arrived by two evacuation trains in Lviv. 18 490 people crossed exit checkpoints in Lviv oblast.

As part of humanitarian assistance, the community of the Slovenian town of Kamnik handed over a modern video laryngoscope to the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the St. Panteleimon Hospital (formerly the Emergency Hospital) in the city of Lviv.

Rivne oblast

The Rivne Regional Administration reported that in Rivne oblast over 2K residents of the region offer free housing for internally displaced persons as part of the government social project “Shelter”.

Ternopil oblast

The competition “Heroes nearby” has started in Ternopil, which aims to honor Ukrainian heroes and defenders of the country. The conditions of the competition are to write a story about the Ukrainian defender, adding a drawing or a photo. The winners will be chosen on October 14. Later, a photo exhibition of the heroes whose stories were submitted to the competition will be organized.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The Academic Council of the Khmelnytskyi Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education renamed the institution in honor of the fallen military colonel Anatoliy Nazarenko.

Chernivtsi oblast

UAH 22 million was allocated from the budget of Chernivtsi for the purchase of hundreds of pickup trucks for the needs of the Armed Forces. Cars will be directed to those military units where Bukovinians serve.

International support

Biden signed a new $400 million aid package to Ukraine. The aid includes 4 HIMARS and ammunition for them, 1K high-precision 155 mm rounds, tactical vehicles, explosive munitions, spare parts, etc.

US Secretary of State Blinken reported that the US will provide nearly $368 million in humanitarian support for Ukrainians who have gone abroad and those who have remained in the country.

The US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. During the meeting, they discussed the situation around Ukraine.

The office of the President of Ukraine reported that Lithuanian Bayraktar “Vanagas” arrived in Ukraine.

The authorities of Berlin for the first time prohibited russian citizens from selling their real estate due to sanctions. There are currently 1 158 individuals and 98 enterprises related to russia on the sanctions lists of Germany and the EU.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that Ukraine will receive a $1.7 billion grant to cover state budget costs for medical services under the medical guarantee program.

Matthew Gayling, a 17-year-old resident of New York, collected over 100 tons of medicines and medical equipment for the Ukrainian military, including over 25K individual first-aid kits. Thanks to the organization Ukraine Friends, which booked almost 100 commercial flights to deliver cargo to Ukraine, humanitarian aid will soon be sent to the front line.
