It has been the 164th day of Ukraine’s resistance to russian military aggression. 

Ukraine briefly:

There is operational information on the russian invasion as of 6pm:

There are no changes towards Volyn and Polissia. The threat of the enemy launching missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of the republic of belarus remains.

Towards Siversk, the enemy shelled Mykolaivka, Yanzhulivka and Zaliznyi, most of Chernihiv oblast, as well as Nova Huta, Sumy oblast.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions. In the areas of Duvanka, Prudianka, Zolochiv and 27 other settlements, the occupier used barreled and rocket artillery for shelling. There were airstrikes launched on Husarivka, Lebiazhe and Verkhniy Saltiv.

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy inflicted fire damage from barreled and reactive artillery in the areas of Adamivka, Bohorodychne, Dibrovne,  Dovhenke, Dolyna, Hrushuvakha, Karnaukhivka, Kurulka, Maiak, Mazanivka, Ridne,Sulyhivka, Velyka Komyshuvakha.

Separate units of the enemy attempted to advance into the western outskirts of Bohorodychne, yet failed and withdrew.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. There was shelling from tanks and artillery near Dolyna, Dronivka, Donetske, Hryhorivka, Kalenyky,  Mykolaivka, Siversk, Riznykivka, Serebrianka, Spirne, Pereizne, Verkhniokamianske, Vyimka, and Zvanivka.

Towards Bakhmut, there was enemy shelling near Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Berestove,  Ivanhrad, Kodema, Pokrovske, Soledar, Yakovlivka, Yuriivka, and Zaitseve. Russian assault and army aircraft struck near Bakhmut, Berestove Soledar, Yakovlivka and Zaitseve.

By assault actions, the occupiers tried to improve the tactical position towards Striapivka – Bakhmutske, Pokrovske – Soledar, Pokrovske – Bakhmut, Volodymyrivka – Yakovlivka, Vidrodzhennia – Vershyna, Pokrovske – Vershyna. In all these directions, the enemy was repulsed by Ukrainian soldiers and withdrew.

Towards Avdiivka, settlements of Avdiivka,  Netailove, Nevelske, New York and Pisky, were shelled with enemy barrel and rocket artillery. The invaders’ assault aircraft operated near Krasnohorivka, New York, Mariinka and Pisky.

By launching offensive actions, russian invaders tried to break through the defenses of our troops towards Spartak – Avdiivka, Vesele – Pisky, Novoselivka Druha – Krasnohorivka, Alexksandrivka – Mariinka, Kyryllivka – Pavlivka and Prechystivka – Novomaiorske. The Ukrainian military inflicted significant losses on the enemy and threw it back.

Towards Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, the enemy shelled Charivne, Novodanylivka, Novomykhailivka, Shevchenko, Velyka Novoselka, Zaporizhzhia, Zaliznychne, and Zelene Pole. There were airstrikes in the areas of Mali Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novosilka, Pavlivka, Prechystivka, Temyrivka, Vilne Pole, and Vuhledar.

Towards the South Buh, using available means of fire destruction along the line of contact and in the depths of defense, the enemy is trying to maintain the occupied positions and prevent creating favorable conditions for resuming the offensive and liberating the temporarily occupied territory by the Defense Forces.

The invaders used army aircraft to strike near Andriivka. They conducted aerial reconnaissance of the area with unmanned aerial vehicles.

In the Black Sea, four carriers of sea-based cruise missiles are ready to use high-precision weapons.

The threat of missile strikes on military facilities and infrastructure remains throughout Ukraine.


Residents of Zaporizhzhia oblast are advised to stock up on firewood and insulate houses. According to Oleksandr Starukh, Head of the Zaporizhzhia RMA, due to the russian invasion, this winter will be the most difficult, so today we need to think about warming our homes, and the private sector, if possible, stock up on firewood and fuel briquettes. Due to russian aggression in the war zones, power grids and gas pipelines were damaged and destroyed. 

A special group has been formed in Ukraine to compensate for the losses caused by russian aggression. The group, headed by Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, also included representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and Ukrainian and foreign international lawyers. The participants discussed the course of the negotiation on the forced seizure of russian assets. Currently, work is underway to create a special compensation commission by concluding a multilateral international agreement with Ukraine’s partners. The Commission will be able to consider applications for compensation for damage caused by the war. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported that it had invalidated 225 diplomatic passports of people’s deputies, because despite repeated requests from the ministry, the documents were not returned for storage in time. Diplomatic passports are issued to MPs exclusively for official business trips, in no case for private trips. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs promises to immediately issue diplomatic passports to those parliamentarians who will be on official business trips from the Verkhovna Rada.


Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders continued shelling the territory of Kharkiv oblast, air strikes were launched near Husarivka, Lebiazhe and Verkhniy Saltiv.

Head of Kharkiv Regional Civil Administration, Oleh Syniehubov informs that during the day, the invaders shelled Chuhuiv, Izium and Kharkiv districts. There was a rocket hit in Kharkiv at an infrastructure facility in Industrial district.

State Emergency Service of Kharkiv oblast reports that at night, a russian missile hit the manufacturing and storage buildings of a former furniture factory in the Sloboda district, Kharkiv. The premises were partially destroyed and the roof caught on fire.

Russian troops launched missiles at Derhachi community, Kharkiv oblast. According to the prosecutor’s office, S-300 missiles were launched from Belgorod oblast, russia.

Donetsk oblast

Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko informs that russians conducted heavy shelling in Donetsk oblast and struck cities in the relative rear. The night was tense in Avdiivka, Marinka and Ochereta communities. In Krasnohorivka, 5 private houses were damaged and in Pervomaysk shells landed near a shop. There is no information about casualties so far.

A russian missile hit Kurakhove, landing in a school and residential buildings. Another school was damaged in Kurakhivka settlement.

A bus with passengers came under fire in Donetsk. Three people were killed and five others were injured.

Russian shelling targeted Druzhkivka: 5 residential buildings were damaged.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the invaders shelled an apartment building in Kostiantynivka. As a result, the inter-floor covers from the 2nd to 5th floors in one of the porches were destroyed. Rescuers rescued 7 people from the rubble. The invaders also damaged a school.

The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, denied the invaders’ statements about occupation of Pisky settlement.

Mariupol city council says that on the stage of the Mariupol Chamber Philharmonic, the invaders set up prison cages. The invaders plan to hold a “trial” over Ukrainian troops in September.

Mariupol mayor’s councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, reports that russian invaders are trying to run the port for military and logistics needs. They started clearing and liberating the railway track from damaged wagons.

Luhansk oblast

Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Hayday, informs that the enemy continues to attack. However, the defence forces caused losses to the enemy in all directions. Russian troops are using “scorched land” tactics. They launched 5 missiles near the frontline between Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. The invaders used cannon and rocket artillery six times. Mortars were used three times. The russian assault was supported with tank fire and aviation.

In different directions, russians tried to occupy more convenient lines and enhance their tactical positions, but were forced to withdraw.

According to the head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Hayday, the situation is difficult in Hirske, Lysychansk, Popasna, Rubizhne, Sievierodonetsk, Zolote and other settlements of the communities. The enemy is forcing the region’s residents to come to the referendum in exchange for food.

The propaganda to prepare for a referendum on the region’s joining russia was intensified in Luhansk oblast. The occupation authorities, under the guise of providing food or construction materials, are organising meetings with the population of the region’s occupied territories. Enemies are trying to get people’s data and urge them to go to a pseudo-referendum, promising food, drinking water and OSB boards.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

Defenders from Kyiv oblast were posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” and the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky. Bohdan Blyzniuk and Ostap Levchuk were killed in the battles for Moshchun. The head of Kyiv RMA presented state awards to relatives of the fallen heroes.

The damaged social infrastructure is still being repaired in Kyiv oblast. So far, 236 facilities have been fully repaired, including administrative buildings, children and youth centers, educational and health care institutions, as well as private homes. At present, work continues on another 273 facilities.

State Emergency Service units were demining the territories of Bucha, Brovary, Obukhiv, and Vyshhorod regions. EOD specialists surveyed 34.05 hectares of land and water bodies, 12 households, 13.906 km of roads, 1.85 km of power lines. 317 explosive objects were cleared.

About 300 people have been reported missing during combat activities in Kyiv oblast. Overall, 1 339 bodies of civilians, killed by russians, have been found in the region. 216 have not yet been identified. The police of Kyiv oblast have opened more than 3 000 criminal proceedings for war-related crimes.

Free training sessions on adaptation of animals in war conditions are held in the parks of the capital. Dog handlers train with animals and explain to owners how to handle pets frightened by loud explosions and air raid sirens.

Zhytomyr oblast

“Leleka” Comprehensive rehabilitation center for people with disabilities from Popasna, Luhansk oblast, has been relocated to Zhytomyr. 95% of Popasna was destroyed by shelling, so both specialists and patients were forced to leave. More than 20 children with disabilities now attend the facility.

Since the start of the full-scale russian invasion, “Zhytomyrski Kalynky” volunteer centre has been making clothes and equipment for the military. The center is constantly in touch with the defenders and produces items according to their needs, such as plate carriers, T-shirts, underwear, ghillie suits and camouflage nets. All sewing equipment and materials are donated by local citizens.

Sumy oblast

The enemy continues shelling the border of Sumy and Chernihiv oblast. According to the SBGS, more than 110 explosions from barrel artillery were recorded, more than 50 mines were fired from 120-mm mortars.

The enemy opened artillery fire on the territories of Seredina-Buda, Esman and Hlukhiv communities. Sumy RMA reported that civil infrastructure was destroyed and a man was injured due to the shelling of the Shostka community. Emergency services are working to repair the damaged power grid – 71 households in the district were left without electricity.

The enemy opened fire on Bilopillia community four times. 40 launches from mortars and artillery were recorded. Households and civil infrastructure were destroyed.

The state guarantees gas supply to heat enterprises by 90% of the calculated indicators of the previous year and compensation for the difference in rates. Sumy RMA informed that these volumes will be sufficient. The rates will remain at the last year level. They are working on alternative ways of providing heat and saving energy resources in Sumy oblast.

The plans for restoring Sumy oblast, the development strategy, as well as capabilities and capacities of the enterprises of the machine-building cluster were presented to the Ambassador of Japan in Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Dmytro Zhivytskyi. The cooperation is expected to implement the “fast recovery” program.

Like-minded young engineers improve and repair quadcopters and equipment for the military in Sumy. Before the war, they conducted courses in robotics and electronics for schoolchildren, developed various automated systems, but the war made its adjustments.

A fragment of an exploded shell from a cluster bomb, found in the territory of Sumy oblast, became the impetus for creating the Cluster cyber lamp. The installation basis is a cassette cluster covered with glass. And a cyber-diode lamp was created from the holder of the “Uragan” combat machine. These works by the Ukrainian artist Dmytro Petkun are presented at the Ukraine Aid Ops auction. Bidding for the installation has already reached $10,000.

Chernihiv oblast

Semenivka community of Chernihiv oblast came under enemy fire. According to the information of the Chernihiv border detachment of the SBGS, there were three shelling from mortars and barrel artillery.

The head of Chernihiv RMA Vyacheslav Chaus said that 133 educational institutions were damaged in the oblast, almost 12% of them were destroyed. 42% of educational institutions have adapted shelters in their buildings, 16% in the nearby territory. A security specialist of the State Emergency Service will be assigned to each facility with a shelter.

The Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, suffered devastating blows from the aggressor, is gradually being restored. As reported in Chernihiv RMA, repair work is ongoing in the institution, and a preliminary campaign is actively taking place. The university has created an innovative laboratory with the support of Intel, LanTech and the Institute for Modernization of Education Content. Its premises are equipped with modern laptops and technical devices for video conferencing.

Such patriotic soft toys as our own Mriya, MiG, Javelin, Bayraktar, the Patron dog and even the leader of the Kalush band are sold in children’s stores of Ukrainian cities. They are sewn at the “Kopytsia” factory in Nizhyn, a city on the outskirts of which battles with russian troops recently took place. A family has come up with the idea. Currently, 150 employers work at the factory.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

At night, russian army shelled Nikopol district from “Grad” MRLs and Kryvyi Rih  district with  barrel artillery. 20 explosions were heard in the Nikopol residential area. 3 people were injured. 11 five-story buildings, about 40 private houses, a kindergarten and a house of children’s creativity were damaged. About 50 reports of destruction were received. A gas pipeline, water pipeline and electricity network were damaged. Several thousand people were left without electricity.

Enemy shelled Zelenodolsk community, Kryvyi Rih district. A power line was damaged in Maryanskyi. A part of the village is left without electricity.

According to the preliminary information, there are no victims. Reeds and dry remains of wheat caught fire. The fire spread over 4 hectares of the area.

The Department of Transport of the Dnipro City Council informed that in Dnipro, traffic was restored on Kryvorizhka street, damaged by the enemy shelling on July 15. 

In Dnipro, during the full-scale war, rental prices for the cheapest housing increased by 40%, for the premium segment – up to 20%.

8 national and cultural communities joined the charity fair #ART_nastup_Dnipro_International. At the event, a vernissage and sale of paintings, a presentation of cuisines of different nations, an exhibition-fair of decorative and applied art and master classes on making ethnic products were held. All collected funds will be transferred to the needs of Ukrainian defenders.

Starting next week, the project “Museum therapeutic platform Point of departure” will begin. 18 free master classes, excursions, performances, etc. will be held.

The Dnipro Circus will be reopened. From now on, among the circus artists there are IDPs from Luhansk, Rubizhny, Skadovsk, Donetsk regions.

Vinnytsia oblast

Vinnytsia Mayor Serhiy Morgunov announced that damages of the airstrike on Vinnytsia amounted to UAH 240 million, excluding “Jubilee” and the Officers’ House. The roofs of five houses damaged by shelling are being overhauled. 

In the city of Bar, Vinnytsia oblast, during the concert, almost 20K UAH were collected for an attack drone for the Armed Forces. The fundraiser, a Vinnytsia resident, announced to take revenge on the occupiers for the tragedy in Vinnytsia on July 14.

The classes to prepare children forced to leave their homes and settle in Vinnytsia are starting at the VinSmart Center. They will continue throughout the academic year.

A charity online concert of the band “Zhenya and Katya” was held in Vinnytsia to raise funds for medicines for field hospitals.

The “Podillia-Society Center” reported a free express course on first aid will be held in Vinnytsia for three days. 

An artist from Vinnytsia collected UAH 4 000 in two weeks for the Armed Forces by selling pendants with prints of plants.

In Vinnytsia, a five-year-old chess prodigy Artem Kucher played with everyone who wanted to participate in the marathon in support of AFU. Another champion, the prize-winner of the regional championship among children under 8 years old, Rodion Zinkivskyi will join the competition. The funds collected will be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces.

Students of Vinnytsia sports schools came to the Polish city of Kielce at the invitation of the city’s president Bohdan Venta.

Kirovohrad oblast

RMA came up with proposals for the Kirovohrad part of the government’s plan for the post-war reconstruction and modernization of Ukraine planned to be implemented in cooperation with international partners. Kirovohrad RMA reported almost 40 hectares of land have been allocated for construction of housing for forced migrants. 

The director of the regional health care department Oleh Rybalchenko announced that personnel shortages are partially resolved at the expense of migrant doctors in hospitals. 

In Kropyvnytskyi, the bicycle race “United for Victory” took place. Employees of the regional highway service and city cyclists took part in it,150 people aged from 5 to 73 years. Its purpose is to purchase night vision devices for the Ukrainian army.

In Znamyanka, educators, employees of hospitals, culture and the city council collected UAH 204 000. The action was timed to the City Day, which will be celebrated on August 7. The mayor of Znamyanka, Volodymyr Sokyrko informed that using these funds they bought two cars for the Armed Forces.

Soviet symbols have been dismantled in the city of Oleksandria. In Kropyvnytskyi, a 12-meter record holding towel, made using the wool felting technique, was presented.

Kropyvnytskyi participated in the “Brave Hryvnia” charity campaign of the National Bank.

A box for collecting money was placed in the administrative services center. You can throw banknotes and coins with denominations of 10 and 50 kopiiok, 1, 2, 5 and 10 UAH. Coins will be collected until October 31.

Poltava oblast

70% of Poltava’s housing stock has been prepared for the 2022-2023 heating season. It is reported that the city plans to use infected trees to heat people in winter. The author Poltava authorities are communicating with Western partners to obtain mobile solid fuel boilers, planned to be used to heat schools and kindergartens.

According to the relocation program, 19 enterprises from war zones moved to Poltava oblast. Two more FOPs were relocated without state assistance. Most of them operate in the trade industry.

Poltava oblast received over UAH 13 million to pay the homeowners who sheltered displaced persons. Half has already been transferred to the residents of the region. In total, in all communities in Poltava oblast, about 9 000 homeowners participated in the “Shelter” program and provided housing to more than 30 000 displaced people.

According to Dmytro Lunin, the head of Poltava RMA, said from August 9, the lighting of most of the city’s streets will be restored in Poltava. The lights will be turned on from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on most city streets. Lights will be turned off during air alerts. 

A third of the schools in Poltava oblast already have equipped shelters. In kindergartens, the situation is more complicated.

UAH 130 000, supposed to be used for construction of the St. Volodymyr Church of the OCU in Lubny, were redistributed to help the Ukrainian military. 90 000 was spent to purchase two quadcopters and three night vision devices. “Volkswagen T4” car, bought for UAH 70 000 in Poland, was sent to the military stationed near Kropyvnytskyi.

 In Poltava oblast, 60% of the area has already been harvested.

Cherkasy oblast

According to the Mayor of Uman, Iryna Pletnyova, despite the full-scale war in Ukraine, Hasidim go to Uman to celebrate the Jewish New Year in September. As of August 5, abot 500 believers have already arrived in Uman.

Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov informed that Cherkasy is actively switching to alternative fuels and upgrading heating networks. 

1K hryvnias were collected by a 10-year-old Sofia and a 13-year-old Kateryna from Cherkasy for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in one week. They sell vegetables, drinks, pastries and ceramics every day.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The situation didn’t significantly change. The enemy is focusing its main efforts on holding the occupied positions.The enemy shelled the positions of Ukrainian defenders using tank gunnery, artillery and MLRS along the entire contact line. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the russian military shelled the areas of the settlements of Novodanylivka, Zelenyi Hai, Chervone, Stepove with jet artillery and tanks, launched airstrikes on Mali Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka and Temyrivka.

Despite the aggravation and the increase in the number of shelling in Zaporizhzhia oblast, the situation is under control, said the head of Zaporizhzhia RMA Oleksandr Starukh. The Armed Forces continue to hold the defense and restrain the enemy army.

Police received 3 destruction reports of civil infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling by russian occupation troops.

The infrastructure of one of the local enterprises was damaged as a result of an armed attack on the regional center. According to preliminary information, there are no victims.

803 people, including 202 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory.

Energoatom reported that the Zaporizhzhia NPP operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety standards. As a result of the enemy’s actions, emergency protection was activated on one of the power units, one of three working power units was disconnected, the nitrogen-oxygen station and the combined auxiliary building were seriously damaged. The risk of fire hazard at the station has increased.

The Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office has started a pre-trial investigation into the fact of the russian military attack on the Zaporizhzhia NPP on August 5.

Mykolaiv oblast

The enemy twice attacked Mykolaiv oblast with rocket multi launcher systems. Industrial infrastructure and residential districts were fired upon in the regional center. Two people were seriously injured. 2 shells hit between settlements in Bashtanka district.

According to the Mykolayiv RMA, shelling of the settlements of the Bereznehuvate community, located on the demarcation line, has intensified over past days.

9 fires broke out due to enemy shelling in Mykolaiv oblast. There were three fires of residential buildings in one of Mykolaiv districts. Two fires occurred on the territory of the Halytsynove forest.

The Security Service of Ukraine neutralized FSB agents involved in the activities of the enemy’s agent network in Mykolaiv oblast. Perpetrators collected and passed on intelligence to the enemy about important infrastructure facilities, fuel depots, deployment and movement of personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces according to the instructions of the russian special services. Because of their actions, the enemy destroyed and damaged several objects of the city’s shipbuilding infrastructure, including the factories “Equator”, “Krystal”, “Ocean”, warehouses with fuel, etc.

A humanitarian cargo from the United Nations Children’s Fund – UNICEF Ukraine – hygiene products and water containers, designed for 1000 liters, arrived in Mykolaiv.

Odesa oblast

One of three vessels with Ukrainian grain NAVI STAR, which left the port of Chornomorsk on August 5, arrived in Istanbul. NAVI STAR under the flag of Panama is heading to Ireland.

The situation in the Black Sea has not changed significantly. 10 ships of the enemy fleet continue maneuvering along the coast of Crimea towards Novorossiysk. Among them are 2 surface and 2 underwater missile carriers equipped with 24 Kalibr missiles.

Odesa Academic Theater of Musical Comedy will start the new theater season on August 7 with the concert “Our strength is our song”. Only one third of seats will be occupied for security reasons. In case of air raid siren, visitors will be taken to a bomb shelter. The shelter is provided for theater employees in the basement of the theater.

Kherson oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy fired from tanks and various types of artillery in the areas of Tavriiske, Blahodatne, Kyselivka, Bilohirka, Dobrianka, Osokorivka, and Mykolaivka settlements. The enemy launched airstrikes in the Andriyivka area, as well as the Khutorska valley and the Plotnytsky tract.

During the night, the russian army attacked the previously liberated settlements of Kherson oblast with Ka-52 attack helicopters three times. No losses.

During the combat day, Ukrainian defenders launched 4 airstrikes at the enemy’s buildup, two strongholds and ammunition depots in Beryslav and Kherson districts.

The confirmed losses of the enemy are 79 occupiers, 4 T-72 tanks, 2 self-propelled howitzers “Msta-S” and an self-propelled artillery, a radar station and a command and staff car, 10 units of armored vehicles and 11 other vehicles. The control points of the 76th Airborne Assault Division and the 49th Army in Chornobaiivka, the command and observation post of the enemy battalion tactical group in Bruskinske, and the area of concentration of equipment in Oleshky were hit.

Russian troops use pontoons for crossings after strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Antonivsky and Dariivsky bridges. Some pontones are not hidden during artillery attacks to be available for retreat. This was reported by the press center of the Southern Defense Forces.

The “Yellow Ribbon” resistance movement distributed a pilot edition of the underground newspaper “Partisan’s Voice” with a circulation of 1 200 copies. The newspaper will publish truthful information for residents of the occupied territories.

Western regions

Volyn

Thanks to Ekotaxi and the Hangar volunteer headquarters, agromobiles appeared on the streets of Lutsk. From now on, every taxi service car will have requisites for donations to the army.

The team of the Kivertsiv city council purchased a KIA car for soldiers of a separate motorized infantry battalion of the 14th Volyn brigade.

With the assistance of the Ukrainian diaspora in Chicago, the people of Volyn sent an SUV, medicines and products to the front line.

In Rozhyshche, children collected UAH 185K for an anti-drone for the military. To help AFU, they gave concerts and sold goodies prepared by themselves.

In the library of Lutsk, the psychological assistance club during the war for displaced persons and local residents was opened.

In Lutsk district, children set up a checkpoint and collected UAH 5K, which they handed over to the territorial defense for the Armed Forces.

Zakarpattia oblast

A working meeting was held in Rakhiv with heads of communities and local state forestry farms, law enforcement officers and military personnel. The meeting discussed  implementing the budget, accepting IDPs, relocating enterprises, providing firewood stocks, etc.

The photo exhibition “Zakarpattia and War. Photochronicles” was opened in Uzhhorod. 50 photos of Zakarpattian photojournalists and photographers, who recorded events in the oblast from the first days of the full-scale war, were placed on the stone wall of the Zakarpattia Regional Art Museum named after Bokshaya.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The Regional State Administration reported that with the beginning of russian military aggression, 42K children arrived in Prykarpattya from those oblasts of Ukraine where active hostilities continue to rage.

For the third time, a charity event for the Armed Forces and a children’s fair took place in the Potocki Palace. Participants and visitors raise money to help the 75th battalion.

Residents of Verkhovyna collected and sent humanitarian aid to the military – food products, personal hygiene products, sleeping bags, tents, power banks, batteries, etc.

Lviv oblast

Today 237 people have arrived in Lviv from the areas of active hostilities by two evacuation trains. 751 people left for Przemysl.

2 medical institutions of Lviv oblast received 15 patients evacuated from Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts. Doctors assess their condition as severe to moderate.

In Lviv RMA, a meeting was held with the Federal Association of Assistance Centers for Refugees Victims of War and Torture (BAfF), AMCHA-Germany and the Rokada charitable foundation. It was about providing professional psychosocial assistance to people who suffered during the war.

A meeting with community leaders and representatives of cultural institutions of the Sambir district was held in Lviv RMA. It was about supporting the cultural sector in the conditions of martial law.

A rally in support of the defenders of Mariupol was held on the square in front of the Opera House in Lviv. Soldiers’ relatives and Lviv residents demand that international organizations make every effort to protect Ukrainian prisoners and speedy exchange.

In the Lviv Center for providing services to participants in hostilities, a military law lawyer consults free of charge every Saturday.

Rivne oblast

Thanks to the project “Integrated humanitarian response in the conditions of war and post-war reconstruction”, implemented in Rivne and Volyn oblasts by the regional charity fund Our Future, a sensory room is being prepared for opening in Berezny. Here they will work with children with disabilities and small immigrants.

Ternopil oblast

Volunteers transferred four cars from Ternopil oblast to the front line.

Yulia and Darinka, young girls from Ternopil, weave and sell beaded jewelry, and donate the proceeds to the Ukrainian military.

In Chortkov on August 11 in the courtyard of the City Council Public Library there will be a garage sale. The organizers plan to use all the collected funds to help the soldiers of the 65th OMBR, where soldiers from Chortkov serve.  Anyone can take part in the charity event.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Head of the Regional State Administration, Serhiy Gamalii, announced that Khmelnytskyi received 3 modern X-ray machines from the Ministry of Health from the humanitarian aid of our partners. The cost of one device is almost UAH 2.5 million.

Chernivtsi oblast

At the Youth Residence in Chernivtsi, classes were held for school students on providing first aid. In practice, the children learned to stop bleeding and perform artificial heart massage.

International support

The Ukrainian military received Vector drones from the German federal government. Vector is a fixed-wing UAV that can take off and land vertically.

The US plans to give Ukraine a package of military aid in the amount of $1 billion. It will include ammunition for long-range weapons and armored medical transport.

The European Commission developed a new project of financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 8 billion euros: 5 billion will be provided in the form of loans, 3 billion – in the form of non-refundable grants.

Denmark will provide Ukraine with 35 excavators to restore the infrastructure destroyed by the russians.

Bulgaria indefinitely suspends issuance of tourist visas and visas for real estate owners to russians.

Meta removed over 1K russian fake accounts that supported the war in Ukraine.

Fundraising platform United24 managed to collect over UAH 6 billion in three months. So far, people from 110 countries have joined it. Professional military drones, 78 Matrice multicopters, 20 FlyEye 3.0 drones and two Warmate complexes with 40 kamikaze drones were sent to the front using the funds collected on the platform.
