 It has been the 163rd day of Ukraine’s resistance to the Russian military invasion. 

Ukraine briefly:

Here is operational information from the General Staff as of 6pm:

There are no changes towards Volyn and Polissia.  

Towards Siversk, the enemy keeps separate units of the troops of the Western Military District in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts. Hostile positions are being enhanced and equipped with video surveillance systems.

In the areas of the settlements of Zaliznyi Most and Hremiach in Chernihiv oblast and Starikove, Sumy oblast, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure with artillery.

Towards Sloboda region, the enemy continues preventing the Defense Forces from creating favourable conditions for resuming the offensive. 

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy applied barreled and rocket artillery to shelling Cherkaski Tyshky, Kharkiv, Korobochkine, Ruska Lozova, Stary Saltiv, Verkhniy Saltiv. Unmanned aerial vehicles conducted reconnaissance near Chepil, Husyarivka, Mali Prokhody, and Ruska Lozova.

Towards Sloviansk, the occupier did not conduct active offensive actions, carried out fire damage from artillery of various types near Bohorodichne, Dolyna, Dibrovne, Ridne, and Velyka Komyshuvakha.

Towards Donetsk, the enemy is concentrating its efforts on Bakhmut and Avdiivka. The invaders are trying to create favourable conditions for establishing control over the cities of  Bakhmutand and Soledar, pushing our troops away from the western outskirts of Donetsk. 

Towards Kramatorsk and Bakhmut, the enemy used tanks, barreled and rocket artillery to shell Bakhmut, Hryhorivka, KodemaSiversk, Soledar, Verkhniokamianske, Yakovlivka and Zaitseve. There was an airstrike near Vershyna.

By conducting offensive actions, the invaders tried to seize favourable positions and improve the tactical position in proximity of Bakhmut, Vershyna and Zaitseve, yet failed and withdrew.

Artillery shelling was recorded near Avdiivka, Novobakhmutivka, Nevelske, Netailove and Krasnohorivka near Avdiivka direction. The enemy unsuccessfully tried to advance towards Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka and Pisky.

Towards Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, the enemy fired tanks, barrels and rocket artillery near Marinka, Volodymyrivka, Novomykolaivka, Velyka Novoselka, Novoandriivka, Kamianske, Novoselka, Charivne, Novopil, Huliaipole and Neskuchne.

Towards Marinka, Ukrainian soldiers successfully repulsed another enemy assault and forced the enemy to flee.

The occupiers conducted reconnaissance with unmanned aerial vehicles in the areas of Zaporizhzhia and Novoselivka II.

Towards the South Buh direction, the enemy is trying to keep the occupied positions with available means of fire destruction and prevent creation by favorable conditions for our units’ counterattack.

The enemy shelled the settlements of Andriivka, Chervona, Dolyna, Luparevo, Nikopol, Novomykolaivka, Novohryhorivka, Novovorontsovka, Olhyne, Potiomkine,  Posad-Pokrovske, Stepova Dolyna, Trudoliubovka, Topolyne, Zelenyi Gai,. Enemy aircraft were used to strike near Andriivka, Lozove, and Velike Artakove.

The enemy attempted an offensive towards Lozove. Our military repulsed and forced the enemy to withdraw.

In the Black and Azov Seas, the enemy’s ships are tasked to support the land grouping, blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea and damaging military facilities and infrastructure elements in the depths of Ukraine.

Four carriers of sea-based cruise missiles are ready to apply high-precision weapons.


The SSU reported that it had launched an online service to search for prisoners of war and missing in the conditions of war. Now it is possible to report the circumstances of the person’s disappearance through the online form ➡️ bit.ly/3BJkZ3v. Data sent through the form is confidential and will not go to third parties. We remind you that the issue of the release of prisoners is within the exclusive competence of state authorities.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft presidential decree on confiscation of 903 objects in Ukraine belonging to russia. Of these, 79 are corporate rights, 824 positions are property. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. “We expropriate russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. Confiscated assets are converted into funds aimed at our defense and restoration,” the head of the government said. 

Currently, the state of the country’s readiness for the heating season is almost 60%, said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. Among the facilities ready for winter are 56% of houses, 57% of networks, and 58% of heat supply facilities. An additional stock of equipment is also being created in case of damage to the infrastructure during the heating season, for which UAH 1.4 billion has been allocated. To date, 141 heat supply facilities and two CHPs that have been damaged by shelling have already been repaired.


 

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders shelled  around a dozen of settlements of Kharkiv oblast. During the day, the enemy was shelling settlements of Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Izium districts.

According to the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, three people were injured as a result of the shelling of Industrial and Shevchenkove districts with Smerch MRLs. The injured need surgical interventions. Rescuers are delousing Pavlove Pole after the strikes, houses and educational institutions were damaged. The Saltiv district was also under attack.

The invaders hit Chuhuiv with three missiles. There were no casualties.

Donetsk oblast

The General Staff reports that Ukrainian troops repelled an assault by the invaders toward Marinka and forced the enemy to retreat. Russian troops are trying to create conditions to occupy Bakhmut and Soledar and expand the controlled territory on the western outskirts of Donetsk.

Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko informs that the invaders destroyed another school in Donetsk oblast, in Ocheretyne. Before the full-scale Russian invasion, 353 pupils studied there.

The Toretsk Military Administration reports that the Toretsk community was shelled again. A supermarket downtown was damaged. There were no casualties.

There was a fire in the railway station building in the occupied Donetsk.

Mariupol mayor’s councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that the invaders held a concert on the ruins of Azovstal.

Luhansk oblast

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Haidai says that Russian invaders intensify mobilisation in Luhansk oblast, involving HR managers of companies and teachers.

Forced mobilisation continues in the occupied Luhansk oblast. People in military uniforms detain “conscripts” right in the streets and at bus stops. There is a humanitarian disaster in the temporarily occupied territories. Against all the rules, the enemy is trying to restore communications, causing even greater destruction.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

A delegation from Estonia headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Urmas Reinsalu and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusko visited Kyiv oblast. The guests visited Chornobyl and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which had been under the occupation of the russian army, as well as the “Antonov” SE airfield in Hostomel.

Representatives of the Hungarian Ecumenical Service, led by Head of the Kyiv office, Barnabas Sotmari, also visited Kyiv oblast. They discussed continuation of cooperation on restoration of Kyiv oblast, in particular damaged educational institutions, as well as the arrangement of temporary housing for internally displaced persons.

The body of another person killed during the occupation of the region was discovered in Kyiv oblast. The man was found in a technical well on the Zhytomyr highway near the village of Berezivka. After examining the body, the police established that the man died late February or early March.

Households in the village of Demydove, which were threatened by the explosion of the dam on the Irpin River, will receive 20 K hryvnias each under the program of social protection of the population TURBOTA. Repairs on the lock have already been completed, and the pumping station is pumping water.

The KCSA reported that safety trainings were held for Kyiv residents involving rescuers, sappers, medics and psychologists of the State Emergency Service. The training took place at four thematic locations, where lecturers talked about explosive objects, packing emergency suitcases, providing first aid, as well as negative emotional states.

In cooperation with international partners, 189 infrastructure objects have already been restored in Kyiv oblast. Oleksiy Kuleba, Head of the Kyiv RMA, says that the Kyiv oblast continues to receive medicines, food, special vehicles and other assistance from foreign partners.

Zhytomyr oblast

A meeting with the delegation of the Italian representative office of the Red Cross was held in the Zhytomyr RMA. They discussed the construction of 40 frame houses in Zhytomyr to provide housing for more than 250 internally displaced persons from the east and south.

Specialists of the State Emergency Service conduct training for rescue assistants in Zhytomyr. Voluntary formations include 300 persons, 30 of which have already completed training. Participants are shown how rescuers work when extinguishing a fire and in conditions of chemical pollution. They also learn how to behave in an emergency, unblock victims and provide medical assistance.

In Zhytomyr, a charity bike race United for Victory was held to raise funds for the Armed Forces. According to the Zhytomyr RMA, more than 50 people of different ages took part in the sports event and drove more than 10 km on the section of highway M-06 Kyiv – Chop. The collected funds were transferred to the Come Back Alive Charity Foundation.

Sumy oblast

Over the past day, the russian occupation forces shelled the borderline communities of  Sumy oblast three times. Head of the Sumy RMA, Dmytro Zhivytskyi, reported that the enemy opened fire on the territory of the Shostka district. 6 grenade launcher hits, two mortar hits, and machine gun bursts were recorded. There are no casualties or damage.

Educational institutions of Sumy oblast are preparing for the beginning of the new academic year. According to the conclusions of the State Emergency Service, 44 shelters are fully ready for use. Currently, they are developing a plan for a mixed form of online and offline training, depending on the capacity of the shelters. At the same time, schools located less than 25 km from the border or in the war zone will conduct classes exclusively online.

Rescuers of the State Emergency Service together with volunteers of the Sumy Dobrobat participated in restoration of an ancient building on the territory of the forest research station. The house, built in 1911, suffered significant destruction as a result of shelling by the russian occupation forces.

The Trostyanets community will receive three Polish low-floor two-section buses from Lviv oblast. All public transport in Trostyanets was destroyed due the russian military aggression.

Chernihiv oblast

At the Agency for Regional Development, entrepreneurs from Chernihiv oblast and experts from the Chernihiv RMA discussed a project of creating a priority development area “Chernihiv oblast”. Many businesses were either damaged or destroyed due to the russian shelling, so one of the region’s priorities is to create a favourable environment for business.

Preparation of Chernihiv oblast for the winter period is going according to the schedule. According to Vyacheslav Chaus, Head of the Chernihiv RMA, the readiness of heat supply enterprises, budgetary institutions, organizations, and the housing stock makes over 51%.

Serhiy Moroz, an 8-year-old resident of Chernihiv, collects funds for the Armed Forces by street singing. In just two weeks, Serhiy collected 64,000 hryvnias and handed them over to the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation during a personal meeting. The boy has decided to collect funds on his own initiative and promises that he will continue to sing as long as the weather permits.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk reported that the Apostolove community of the Kryvyi Rih district had been shelled again. Fortunately, without destruction or injuries. 

At night, the Russian army fired 40  rockets at Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts.  Up to 10 private houses and commercial buildings were damaged. A bus and several cars were destroyed at a local enterprise.

The enemy fired an X-59 missile on the Myrove community. Some houses are damaged. The gas pipeline is out of order. The communities of Karpiv and Zelenodolsk were shelled, too. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk RMA Valentyn Reznichenko.

In Kryvyi Rih, the support center for displaced persons I-Mariupol was opened. The informational and cultural hub provides support to the IDPs from Mariupol. There is a psychologist, a medical worker, a lawyer and an employment manager. A qualified teacher works in the children’s room.

Borys Romanov, a famous bookplate artist, evacuated from Sievierodonetsk to Dnipro. He managed to take away part of his creative output. Now he continues to create bookplates in Dnipro.

Vinnytsia oblast

In Vinnytsia, the roofs of houses damaged by the July 14 terrorist attack are still being repaired, the Vinnytsia City Council reported. According to the decision of the executive committee, funds were allocated for replacing windows and doors in the entrances of high-rise buildings that were damaged by the airstrike.

In Vinnytsia, working groups of the city council and the State Emergency Service completed the inspection of the underground space. At present, the summarized data has been submitted to provide a conclusion on determining the status of objects that can be included in the fund of shelters. Recently,  more than two thousand high-rise buildings have been inspected, including current shelters and commercial facilities.

20-year-old Olga Klybanska from Vinnytsia handed over a thermal sight for one of the units of the National Guard. To buy it, she drew and sold paintings on a military theme and received UAH 117 K for 47 canvases.

On August 18, the exhibition Ukrainian flag – Ukrainian power will be held in the Vinnytsia Regional Museum of Local Lore. It is timed to the National Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine.

Sofia Liashko from Vinnytsia won the International two-round festival-competition Phenomenon from Ukraine. The competition was held online with the participation of jury members from the USA, Mexico, Macedonia, Lithuania and Armenia.

Kirovohrad oblast

Kirovohrad oblast has welcomed the third evacuation train from Donetsk oblast. This time,  the Petrivska community is hosting the IDPs. The established reception format in the regional center has sheltered almost 2 hundred displaced people, including many children.

No explosives were found during the inspection of three facilities in Kropyvnytskyi, after anonymous reports of mining had been received .

Deputy mayor Iryna Chemerys reports that thelters and storage facilities of schools in the city of Oleksandria are 50% ready for the new school year. UAH 1.5 million was allocated from the city budget for their arrangement.

In Kropyvnytskyi, almost a thousand signs to shelters of a single model will be installed. The new signs will replace the paper and painted ones, reports Serhii Kovalenko, Head of the city’s emergency department.

Oleksandr Tereshchenko instead of Yelysavetgradskaya. In a village in the Kirovohrad oblast, a street was renamed in honour of a fallen soldier.

Three students are explaining to the townspeople who the streets of Kropyvnytskyi are named after. Currently, 10 videos have been shot, five of which can already be seen on Facebook and Instagram.

Poltava Oblast

During the inspection of the railway station in Kremenchuk, Poltava oblast, law enforcement officers did not find any explosives. The police started criminal proceedings under the article “knowingly false report about the threat to the safety of citizens”.

In Poltava oblast, 20 volunteers are learning how to handle weapons and provide medical assistance. Free classes for them were organized by Oleh Pryimachev, the champion of the World Thai Boxing Games and the commander of the Legion volunteer battalion.

Cherkasy oblast

Head of the Cherkasy RMA, Ihor Taburets, reports that the first million tons of grain were threshed in Cherkasy oblast. All the winter barley and peas have already been harvested. 

In Cherkasy, a special commission examines facilities that are potentially suitable to be used as shelters. The city council informs that  the number of shelters may reach 174. 

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the situation has not changed significantly. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied positions. 

The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Zaporizhzhia, Ternuvate, Hryhorivka, Veselianka, Yulivka, and Novohryhorivka. Production equipment was damaged, and a fire broke out a workshop due to the shelling in Zaporizhzhia suburbs. There are no casualties.

Police received 34 reports of the destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by russian occupation forces.

During the day 1,337 people, including 340 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory. 

Ukrainian Intelligence informs that the occupiers continue the forced passporting of the Ukrainian population in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The occupation authorities require the owners of land shares to renegotiate contracts on the basis of the received russian passport and in accordance with russian legislation. Otherwise, the person will be deprived of the right to own land shares.

The russian military opened fire near the industrial site of the ZNPP, as reported by Energoatom. The russian military hit the high-voltage communication line of the autotransformer of the ZNPP – Zaporizhzhia TPP.

Mykolaiv oblast

Ukrainian defenders destroyed an enemy stronghold in the occupied Mykolaiv oblast with a pair of helicopters.

Head of the Mykolaiv RMA Vitalii Kim informed about the extended curfew that would be in effect in Mykolaiv from 11pm on August 5 to 05am on August 8.

The enemy shelled Mykolaiv during the day. There are dead people. Currently, 22 are known to be injured. A 14-year-old boy was wounded during the daytime shelling. It is known about hitting private houses.

According to the information of the Military Commandant’s Office of the Defense of the city of Mykolaiv, the Korabelny district was fired  with cluster munitions from MLRS systems at night, in the morning – with long-range artillery.

Three people were injured in the Kutsurub community as a result of enemy shelling.

Houses and buildings of a private agricultural enterprise were burned down, and cars were damaged in the Mishkovo-Pohorilove community as a result of the enemy shelling.

Residential buildings were damaged, fields were on fire in the Shevchenkove community. There are no casualties. The Halytsynove community was also shelled. Information on damage is being updated.

Shelling of the territory and nearby settlements of the Bereznehuvate community continues. Information on victims and damage is being clarified.

In total, 40 infrastructure objects were damaged in the region during the day as a result of enemy attacks – 28 private and 4 apartment buildings, a shop, an office, a bank, a parking lot and other facilities.

Children arranged a charity fair to collect funds to support defenders of Ukraine in the center of the Vradiiivka village community. Patriotic bracelets, souvenirs, balls, toys, beadwork, and sweets were sold at the fair.

Odesa Oblast

9 warships and boats are maneuvering in the missile-safe area in the Black Sea. 2 surface and 1 underwater missile launchers of the Kalibr type are ready to use two dozen high-precision projectiles. 2 large amphibious ships keep the threat of a marine landing.

The occupiers launched a rocket attack on an infrastructural object in Mykolaivka of Odesa oblast.

In the morning, the first caravan of ships left two ports of Odesa oblast along the “grain corridor”. This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov. Two ships left the port Chornomorsk and one – the port of Odesa. Three bulkers NAVI STAR, ROJEN and POLARNET are transporting 57K tons of corn, heading to Turkey, Great Britain and Ireland.

the Odesa RMA  reported that more than 2.5 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were harvested in Odesa oblast. 

 

Kherson oblast

The enemy continues to conduct hostilities along the occupied defense line.

The enemy made an unsuccessful assault attempt in the direction of Sukhyi Stavok – Lozove and retreated with losses.

The occupiers launched 16 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and recently liberated settlements along the contact line. No casualties are reported.

The enemy shelled Ivanivka with heavy barrel artillery. One person died, the scale of the destruction is being clarified.

​​Ukrainian attack aircraft hit 2 clusters of enemy weapons and equipment in Kherson and Kakhovka districts.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units attacked the enemy’s air defense system and logistics ammunition points in the Kherson district.

The enemy losses include 39 soldiers, 4 S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems,”Imbir” radar station,  “Voloshka” 82-calibre automatic mortar, 9 units of armored vehicles and vehicles. 3 ammunition warehouses were destroyed in Prydniprovske, Kherson and Tokarivka.

The so-called “minister of agrarian policy of Kherson oblast” Oleksii Kovalev calls on local agricultural producers to register their activities and pay “taxes” according to the legislation of the russian federation. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Those who refuse will be deprived of the ownership rights to land plots.

Volodymyr Saldo, the so-called “head of the Kherson oblast civil-military administration” has been hospitalized. His duties will be performed by the head of the fake “government” of Kherson oblast, Serhii Yeliseiev.

Western regions

Volyn

The Volyn military administration reports that since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of the territory of Ukraine, 70 900 forcibly evacuated people have moved to Volyn. 59 972 people have the status of IDPs.

230 846 portions of hot lunches have been issued in social canteens to internally displaced persons who registered and have been living in Lutsk since the beginning of the war. The Social Canteens project is being implemented by joint efforts of the Lutsk City Council and the Only Together Foundation.

Representatives of the Lviv Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees visited the Volyn RMA. The meeting discussed support for evacuated Ukrainians.

In Lutsk, 5 GPS trackers were purchased for the military for UAH 20K collected during the charity run.

The Volyn Regional State Administration in cooperation with the Suchasna Ukraine charitable foundation, supplied 60 sets of armor plates, sleeping bags and turnstiles to the 14th OMBr named after Prince Roman the Great. Novovolynsk handed over 250 sets of uniforms to the soldiers of the Prince’s Brigade.

In Lutsk, schoolchildren collected UAH 8.5K for Ukrainian defenders. Children gave away their savings, sold bracelets, sang and danced to raise money for the Armed Forces.

Yuliya Grynchuk, an artist  from Lutsk, turned her art studio into a volunteer art therapy center. Absolutely free of charge, the woman conducts classes with adults and children affected by the war.

Zakarpattia oblast

By decision of the Regional Defense Council, 20 modern ATVs and all-terrain vehicles were handed over to Zakarpattia border guards.

Representatives of the Zakarpattia RMA together with representatives of the International Organization for Migration and the international humanitarian organization People in Need inspected places for medium and long-term housing for forced migrants in Tiachiv and Irshav districts.

The humanitarian aid center Owl’s Nest started training migrant children living in Uzhhorod using interesting game forms.

In Uzhhorod, a concert was held with the participation of the band “Art Battalion” for servicemen who are currently recovering in various institutions of the region after injuries and wounds. The event was organized as part of the campaign Defender’s Leave on the initiative of the Zakarpattia RMA.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

An online meeting was held in the Ivano-Frankivsk State Administration with heads of regional state administrations and territorial communities of the region. It was about a shelter for immigrants in Prykarpattia, providing fuel for the families of military personnel and the poor.

The ‘Mobile Brigade’ of the regional state administration works with internally displaced persons in the communities of the region. The “mobile brigade” is formed of representatives of the Regional State Administration, social workers, lawyers and psychologists.

The Ivano-Frankivsk RMA held an online meeting with representatives of the public organization Rotary Club Kyiv International. They discussed the issue of arranging facilities for the residence of internally displaced persons and providing them with humanitarian assistance.

Lviv oblast

Today, 210 people have arrived in Lviv from the areas of active hostilities by two evacuation trains. 758 people have left for Przemysl.

937 protective facilities, including 260 storage facilities and 677 anti-radiation shelters, operate in Lviv oblast.

Over 500 families received help in the Office for the Support of Military Families, which opened almost two months ago on the initiative of the Lviv RMA.

On the initiative of the Lviv RMA, consultation and coordination centers for internally displaced persons and those in need of help will be established under each district administration.

Employees of the Lviv City Hall and communal enterprises learn to use weapons and provide first aid. Special training for them was organized in the city administration for emergency situations, civil protection of population and territorial defense.

Lviv will hand over 3 Polish low-floor two-section buses to the community of Trostyanets in Sumy oblast. The relevant decision was approved by the executive committee of the Lviv City Council.

Rivne oblast

In Rivne, the police opened a criminal case on the fact of a knowingly false report about landmines.

Over 150 dolls were sent to craftspeople from Rivne oblast and their students for the charity project People’s Amulet. They will be available to see, photograph and purchase on Independence Day. The funds will be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces.

Ternopil oblast

Almost 40K internally displaced persons have been hosted by the Ternopil community. 27 502 have been staying in the Ternopil community for a long period.

The RMA held a meeting of the Operational Headquarters for supplying construction materials to facilities damaged by the russian armed aggression. They discussed the current state of production of construction materials, as well as the issue of destruction in regions where active hostilities took place.

The Smartflower solar panel was presented in Ternopil. This is the first moveable solar station in Ukraine. It functions according to the principle of a sunflower following the sun movement to collect as much sunlight as possible.

The defender from Ternopil oblast, Vaverchak Lubomyr, was posthumously awarded with the III degree Order “For Courage” by decree of the President of Ukraine.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

35 talented and gifted children went on vacation to France. These are the winners of international, all-Ukrainian and district Olympiads and competitions. During 3 weeks, children accompanied by responsible persons will study, rest and visit tourist attractions of France.

Chernivtsi oblast

The RMA reported that educational institutions of Chernivtsi oblast are equipped with shelters for 76%.

With the assistance of the Viva la Vita Charitable Foundation and the Department of Health Care of Chernivtsi oblast, the regional children’s clinical hospital received charitable assistance – 9 modern beds with mattresses and medical products.

The Department of Social Protection of the Population of Chernivtsi oblast reported that Bukovyna received 250 ‘baby packages’. They were distributed between the regional perinatal center and city clinical maternity hospital No. 2.

Macedonia transferred 4 Su-25 attack aircraft to Ukraine. North Macedonia bought these same planes from Ukraine during the conflict on the territory of the state in 2001.

The US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavusoglu discussed unblocking the export of Ukrainian grain.

Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia proposed to include a ban on issuing tourist visas to the EU to russians in the next package of sanctions.

Canada allocated 6 million dollars for implementing a number of projects to improve nuclear safety in Ukraine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia reported that the intergovernmental agreement with russia on economic cooperation has been suspended since August 1.

The Embassy of Latvia in the russian federation announces that it will indefinitely suspend the issuance of visas to russians, except for entry to the funeral of close relatives.

The Prime Minister of Estonia, Kaia Kallas, announces that the government of Estonia intends to get rid of 400 Soviet monuments.

The film “Mothers of the Apostles” by Zaza Buadze, a Georgian movie director who lives and works in Ukraine, won the first prize at the Asia Film Art International Film Festival. “Mothers of the Apostles” is a film dedicated to all mothers whose children went to defend Ukraine in 2014.

The Finnish city of Lappeenranta, located near the border with russia, will play the national anthem of Ukraine every day at 7:30 p.m. local time starting July 5. The national anthem will be heard from the roof of the city theatre in the Iso-Kristiina mall. This is how the city wants to demonstrate its support for Ukrainians. In Lappeenranta, the Ukrainian flag will be raised on the flagpole in front of the town hall and in the port.
