It has been the 166th day of Ukraine’s heroic resistance to the russian invasion.

Ukraine briefly:

In eastern Ukraine, the enemy continues to focus on establishing full control over Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts within their administrative borders. In the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson and parts of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts, hostilities continue to rage. There remains a threat of air and missile strikes on military and critical infrastructure throughout Ukraine.

Towards Volyn, Polissia and Siversk, the situation has not significantly changed. There were no signs of forming any offensive groups of the armed forces of the russian federation and the republic of belarus.

In the settlements of Medvedivka, Mykolaivk, Chernihiv oblast and Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Mykhailivka, Velyka Rybitsia, Sumy oblast, the enemy used barreled and rocket artillery to shell civilian and military infrastructure. 

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy carried out fire strikes from barreled and reactive artillery in the areas of Bezruky, Borshchova, Dementiivka, Karasivka, Kharkiv, Korobochkine, Lebiazhe, Mospanove, Pryshyb, Ruski Tyshky, Stary Saltiv, Tsirkuny, Velyki Prokhody. There are attempts to break through the defenses of our troops near Hussarivka. The fighting continues.

Towards Sloviansk, the enemy uses tanks, barreled and rocket artillery to shell Adamivka, Bohorodychne, Dovhenke, Husarivka, Mazanivka, Krestyshche, Kurulka, Sulyhivka and Velyka Komyshuvakha.

Towards Donetsk, using tanks, barreled and jet artillery, the enemy is trying to force out units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces from their positions. Aerial reconnaissance using UAVs was conducted to reveal logistics support routes and critical infrastructure facilities.  

Shelling was recorded towards Kramatorsk near Hryhorivka, Kalenyky, Kryva Luka, Mykolaivka, Serebrianka, Starodubivka, Siversk, Spirne, Raihorodka and Verkhniokamianske. 

 

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy shelled military and civilian infrastructure near Bakhmut, Kodema, Pokrovske, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Vershyna and Yakovlivka. Enemy aircraft were involved in shelling some settlements. 

By conducting assault actions, the invaders tried to gain a foothold in the areas of Bakhmut, Soledar, Vershya and Yakovlivka. Having no success, they withdrew. Fighting continues to rage near Travneve and Kodema.

Towards Avdiivka, the enemy fired from tanks and various types of artillery in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Nevelske, Netailove, Novobakhmutivka, Pisky, Prechystivka, Shevchenko and Volodymyrivka.

Towards Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, no active offensive actions were conducted. The entire contact line was shelled from tanks, barreled and rocket artillery. Air strikes were launched targeting Novopol. The enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses near Marinka. The enemy withdrew, having suffered losses.  

Towards the South Buh, the enemy focuses its efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian combat units deep into the temporarily occupied territory.

The positions of our troops along the contact line are intensively shelled. The aerial reconnaissance with the UAV does not stop.

The enemy launched some airstrikes in the areas of Andriivka, Balka Khutirska, Bila Krynytsia, Bilohirka, Ivanivk, Kiselivka, Kobzartsi, Liubomyrivka, Lozove, Luch, Lymany, Mykolaiv, Nova Zoria, Novomykolaivka, Osokorivka, Potiomkine, and Zelenyi Hai.

Four Su-25 military attack aircraft were transferred to Ukraine, as stated in the Macedonian International Assembly. It was in 2001 that these aircraft were purchased in Ukraine.

 More than 26.4 K criminal proceedings have been initiated on the facts of war crimes committed by russian occupiers, including:

18.5 K. – for violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)

6.5 K. – for encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine (Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)

More than a thousand are proceedings on the facts of collaboration (Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The Red Cross stated that it was not responsible for the lives of the Azov prisoners of war.

“As a neutral mediator, we facilitated the safe exit of combatants from the territory of the Azovstal plant and we ensured this by interacting with the parties of the conflict. Further, the russian side bears responsibility for them, again, in accordance with the Geneva Conventions,” ICRC spokesman Oleksandr Vlasenko said in a comment to Suspilne.

He also states that they are a neutral party responsible only for  lists of the prisoners. And they cannot be in that place 24/7 and stay with our prisoners of war to guarantee their safety.


The Macedonian International Assembly states that four Su-25 military attack aircraft were transferred to Ukraine. In 2001, these aircraft were purchased in Ukraine.

There are over a thousand proceedings on the facts of collaboration (Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders attempted an offensive on settlements in Kharkiv oblast. At least 15 settlements of the region were shelled with tanks, barrel and rocket artillery. The invaders are trying to break through our defence near Husarivka, Izium region. The offensive in the Sloviansk direction ended in a “crash and escape”.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytrivka, Izium district, Kharkiv oblast was freed.

YouTube channel of 93rd brigade shows that in addition to Dmytrivka Ukrainian defenders also took control over Dibrivne village, Izium district.

The infrastructure was hit in Nemyshlia district, Kharkiv. According to preliminary information, there are 2 more hits in open areas in Kharkiv district. There were no casualties.

The invaders shelled pastures of Zolochiv settlement – five cows were killed.

Donetsk oblast

The invaders shelled 10 settlements in Donetsk oblast. Three people were killed and five injured.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mazanivka, Donetsk oblast, was liberated.

The invaders shelled residential areas of Toretsk. Eight people were killed, four wounded, among them three children. The Toretsk Military Administration reported that the enemies hit a public transport stop, damaged a church and injured a priest there, damaged surrounding apartment buildings.

Luhansk oblast

Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamianka continue to hold the defence. Russian troops in Luhansk oblast are already exhausted and regrouping. There is no progress. Evacuation is impossible, the invaders do not provide “corridors”.

The enemies continue to attempt an assault in Luhansk oblast, but suffer significant losses. They replenish the army with “mobilized” men from the recently occupied settlements of the region.

In occupied Bilovodsk, the enemy carried out an operation to track down guerrillas who fired on a car with the inscription –  “people’s mayor and his deputy”. Both collaborators were injured.

 Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

A meeting was held at the Kyiv RMA with Aramis Penland, advisor to the Early Recovery Project of the ‘Partnership for a Strong Ukraine’ Foundation, aiming at restoring the livelihood of Kyiv communities affected by russia’s armed aggression. In addition to the British government, the project is also supported by the United States, Finland, Canada, Switzerland, and Sweden.

Sapper divers continue to inspect water bodies in Kyiv oblast. A total of 93.5 square kilometers have been inspected since the full-scale russian invasion began. The National Guard units recovered 2 enemy helicopters, 11 combat vehicles and 21 anti-tank mines from the Dnipro and Irpin rivers.

Despite the war, the harvest season is underway in Kyiv oblast. As of August 1, 727 51K tons of grain and leguminous crops were threshed in the oblast.

On August 5, safety training sessions for everyone interested will be held in the lobby of Teatralnaya metro station involving rescuers, sappers, medics and psychologists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Participants will learn safety procedures during an air-raid alarm, learn how to pack for bomb shelters, set up shelters in their homes and offices, recognize explosive objects, provide first aid, and deal with panic and anxiety.

The ‘Wi-Fi in school shelters’ initiative will be launched in Kyiv. Educational institutions are now actively preparing for the new school year, by equipping shelters with Wi-Fi connection. As part of the initiative, 2,500 routers and 1,000 modems will be handed over to educational institutions, enabling them to conduct lessons even during air raid alarms.

Due to russian armed aggression, graduates are taking the National Multidisciplinary Test instead of an external independent assessment in Kyiv this year. Examination centers were run in compliance with safety precautions having medical teams and National Police officers on duty. More than 11 100 graduates took part in this examination.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Environmentalists have estimated the damage caused by shelling to the environment of Zhytomyr oblast at 530 million hryvnias. According to the Polissia District State Environmental Inspectorate, air pollution, oil product leaks from a damaged oil pipeline, and forest destruction were considered.

364 facilities destroyed or damaged during hostilities have already been inspected in Zhytomyr. This includes 42 social infrastructure facilities and 322 housing facilities. 19 of these buildings are in need of new construction, 41 require major repairs, and the rest will be renovated.

A Korosten resident was sentenced to five years in prison for high treason. According to the prosecutor, a 23-year-old man agreed to take a photo of a railway bridge for the enemy for 20,000 rubles.

Combat first aid training is conducted in Zhytomyr by the Dynamo Sports and Physical Education Society. There is a high demand for such lessons due to ongoing hostilities. During the training one can learn how to assess the situation correctly, stop hemorrhage and evacuate the wounded to safety.

According to the Korosten Town Council, 85 streets with Soviet names or names related to russia have been renamed in Korosten. The Ostrovskyi Public Library in Korosten was renamed as well. Earlier, a monument to the Soviet writer Mykola Ostrovskyi was dismantled in the city.

Sumy oblast

The SBGS reported that russian troops shelled the Ukrainian border with barrel artillery, mortars, and automatic grenade launchers. Shalygine, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Nova Slobidoda and Krasnopillia communities came under enemy fire. Private houses, commercial buildings and civil infrastructure were damaged. Fires broke out in the Nova Slobododa community due to shelling.

The ecosystem of Sumy oblast was damaged due to russian military aggression in the amount of almost UAH 180 million. 150 million is damage from air pollution, 25 million is soil and agricultural land. This was reported in the Department of Environmental Protection and Energy of Sumy oblast. Green spaces and water resources were also damaged due to the shelling.

Dmytro Zhivytskyi, head of RMA, announced that “Dobrobat” volunteers started working in the communities of the region at the end of April and made more than 30 visits to facilities destroyed by the russians. Currently, the team has more than 35 000 volunteers from different parts of Ukraine.

Since the large-scale invasion of russian troops began, 20 communities from the church of the Moscow Patriarchate have transferred to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. This was reported by the Sumy Diocese of the OCU. Most of such transitions are based on the will of parishioners.

Chernihiv oblast

The State Border Service reported that the enemy continues to shell the Ukrainian border. Novgorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka communities of Chernihiv oblast came under enemy fire. The shelling was carried out from barrel artillery and an automatic grenade launcher.

In the village of Novyi Bykiv of the Nova Basan community, a tractor tripped on a mine and blew up on an anti-personnel mine while mowing the roadside. This was reported by the head of the village community. The driver was not injured. During the survey of the surrounding area, two more anti-tank mines were discovered and neutralized by explosives experts.

A local resident of the village of Kolychivka in the Ivanivka community was injured due to careless handling of explosive objects. The law enforcement officers of the oblast reported that the injury occurred due to activating one of the reactive anti-tank grenade launchers that the owner kept in his yard.

Arrangement of the shelter in the Nizhyn Central City Hospital is underway. According to information from Chernihiv RMA, UAH 2 million has been allocated for these works from the local budget. The total area of ​​the premises is 264 square meters. They plan to equip a surgery room where doctors will be able to operate during hostilities.

In Chernihiv, emergency repair work has begun on a 17-story building on Chornovola Street, bombed by russians during an air raid. Currently, the technical condition of the building is being inspected. The overlap between the floors has been reinforced. Several surviving apartments will also need to be demolished to carry out repairs.

In the Bobrovytsia microdistrict, they plan to rebuild a dormitory fired upon by the russian military. This decision was made based on the survey results of the State Research Institute of Building Structures. Before the hostilities, about 600 people lived in the dormitory, now – only 120.

UAH 5 260 000 was allocated for the repair of the building of the Chernihiv City Council, damaged due to russian shelling. This decision was made at a meeting of the executive committee. The funds will primarily be used to repair the roof and heating system.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

At night, Nikopolskyi and Kryvyi Rih districts were attacked. Russian troops shelled Nikopol twice, firing 60 shells from Grad MRLs on residential quarters. People were not injured.

As a result of shelling in the Nikopol district, one house was destroyed, almost 50 damaged. The buildings and equipment of three local enterprises were damaged, as well as more than 100 solar panels. Two power lines were cut in the city. More than 3 000 Nikopol residents were without electricity.

In the Kryvyi Rih district, the enemy shelled Karpivska and Shirokivska communities from Hurricane MRLs. A fire broke out in a house in Shirokivska TC as a result of a russian attack. Residential and commercial buildings were damaged. One woman was injured.

In the Karpivska community, the occupiers fired between settlements. There were no victims or destruction.

Tourniquets and military first-aid kits were handed over to the Nikopol RVA by Galina Yukhimenko and Roman Repin. This was announced by the head of the Nikopol RMA Yevhen Yevtushenko.

Oleksandr Vilkul reported that enemy special services began to use Ukrainian children, tricking them into asking about the location of infrastructure facilities.

An exhibition of Mykolaivka painting was opened in one of the art cafes in the center of Dnipro. Mykolaivka painting originated more than 300 years ago in the village of Mykolaivka, Novomoskovskiy district, Dnipropetrovsk region.

Master knitters of Pokrov of Dnipropetrovsk oblast joined the charity project “We are one”. It involves creating a 30-meter knitted flag of Ukraine, assembled from fragments woven in different cities. 

Vinnytsia oblast

In Vinnytsia, law enforcement officers checked information about mining of infrastructure facilities. The National Police reported that special services and explosives experts were working on the site. The information about mining was also received in other cities.

The First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin reported that the death toll from the rocket attack on Vinnytsia increased again. Two more people died in hospital. A total of 28 were killed. 

In Vinnytsia, a grant support project for enterprises damaged by the airstrike on the city will be launched. The funds can be used only to purchase equipment. The grant amount is UAH 60 000. This was announced on the Facebook page of the “Podilska hromada” Foundation.

From August 4 to August 15, the Vinnytsia RMA prohibited mass public events in the region.

A logistics complex is being built in Vinnytsia. This is the second part of the project of the All-Ukrainian Aurora network. The second stage of the distribution center is planned to be constructed in the spring of 2023. About 700 new jobs will be created.

A charity concert “To Victory — together!” was held in Bar, Vinnytsia oblast, to raise funds to purchase the PUNISHER strike drone. UAH 17 000 were collected.

Migrant from Vinnytsia Niviena Kharlanova and her new Scottish family, as well as Jackie Crawford with the community of Airdrie, sent a truckload of humanitarian aid – 100 baby boxes, 300 backpacks with stationery sets, toys, clothes for children, baby food, strollers, rehabilitation products and long-term care products storage, etc. Scottish volunteers supported residents of Vinnytsia region and internally displaced persons sheltered in the region.

IDPs receive Polish humanitarian aid in the non-governmental organization “Harmony”. Packages with products, hygiene products and household chemicals are distributed.

On the initiative of the “I Mariupol” support center for displaced people, 90 internally displaced children are taking a preparatory course for school in Vinnytsia. This is also helpful to adapt in a new city.

A charity football tournament in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was held in Vinnytsia. 80 students from six football clubs of the region took part in it. The organizers will announce the amount raised on Monday.

Oleksandr Seleznyov from Vinnytsia, who is currently serving in the Armed Forces, recorded a short beat in the tank cockpit to the Kalush band song “Stefania”. Instead of percussion instruments, he used a cartridge clip of a machine gun by launching the all-Ukrainian musical challenge.

As of August 4, about a hundred patients are receiving inpatient coronavirus treatment in seven medical institutions in Vinnytsia. The number of requests has at least doubled in the last few weeks. The regional department of health care and rehabilitation says that a new outbreak of coronavirus is expected in the fall.

Kirovohrad oblast

The police were informed about mining of three objects: the Central Market, the railway station and the New Post Office No. 2 on Malanyuka Street. No explosives were found during the inspection.

Head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, Andriy Rajkovich announced that the RMA volunteer team delivered another batch of food to the centers for internally displaced persons. Aid includes flour, oil, cereals, baby food, as well as hygiene products.

Poltava oblast

Due to mass notification about bombing of railway stations throughout Ukraine, the railway station in Kremenchuk is being checked for presence of explosives. People have been evacuated from the station. The territory is being examined by law enforcement officers, dog experts and explosives experts. This was reported in the Kremenchuk District Police Department.

Cherkasy Oblast

Two students of Cherkasy “Berehynia” collegium scored two hundred points each in three subjects of the multitest.

As of the beginning of August, 166 applications for micro-grants for development of one’s own business and business support were submitted in Cherkasy oblast.

Police received 6 reports of destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by russian occupation forces. The police have recorded 26 incidents of shelling of civilians in Zaporizhzhia, Hulyaipole and Polohy districts since the beginning of the week. The enemy destroyed several dozen residential buildings and harvesting equipment.

At night, the russian armed forces launched a series of rocket attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the region. It was reported by the head of Zaporizhzhia RMA Oleksandr Starukh. Kh-59 missiles were probably used. The enemy struck one of the infrastructure facilities in the city of Zaporizhzhia. One person was injured.

Russian troops launched rocket attacks on warehouses of an agricultural company in the Ternuvate community. A farm in the Komyshuvaha community was also hit.

88 people, including 216 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory.

The Security Service of Ukraine informed about the suspicion of a collaborator who agreed to take one of the management positions in the occupying “Mayor Hall of Berdiansk”. The investigators declared the collaborator a suspect in absentia. He faces up to 10 years in prison.

Russian representatives announced that after August 31 they will not release children from the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol to the territory controlled by Ukraine. This was reported by the Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov.

Jewish community is holding a campaign to distribute humanitarian aid, notably food kits, medicines and hygiene products, as part of the LifeChanger project and with the support of the Committee for Aid to Jews of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia.

Mykolaiv oblast

The enemy bombarded Mykolaiv oblast with “Smerch” salvo rocket multi launcher. There are hits in the open surfaces of Bereznehuvate and Bashtanka districts. There were no casualties or damage.

A non-residential building was destroyed, a dozen private houses and the power grid were damaged in Mykolaiv as a result of shelling. An unexploded rocket hit right in the middle of Central Avenue. There are no casualties.

The police documented 21 damaged facilities of civil infrastructure after yesterday’s enemy attacks on Mykolaiv and the settlements of Ochakiv, Halytsynove, Luparevo, Dniprovske, Vasylivka, Zoria. There are dead and injured among the civilian population.

The enemy tried twice to attack Mykolaiv oblast with the Lancet kamikaze drones. The drones were destroyed by Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile units.

The Security Service of Ukraine detained the adjuster of russian missile strikes in Mykolaiv oblast. This is reported by the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv oblast. The detainee transmitted to the enemy the coordinates of the positions of the Ukrainian military, the location of military equipment and the routes of their movement in the region. According to his information, the occupiers repeatedly fired artillery and rocket strikes at the city.

Mykolaiv received three ambulances from the international charitable foundation “In honor of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God”.

Odesa oblast

The enemy launched an Onyx anti-ship missile at Odesa oblast at night. The rocket broke up in the air on the way to land.

11 units of ships and boats of the enemy fleet continue maneuvers in the Black Sea at a distance of missile reach along the Crimean coast in the direction of Novorossiysk. Two missile carriers with 16 calibers and 3 large amphibious ships are on standby.

According to the South Operational Command, the development of the situation in the southern direction indicates the probable intensification of enemy shelling and missile attacks.

Kherson oblast

Kherson RMA reports that the situation in Kherson oblast remains tense, active hostilities continue. Two civilians were wounded as a result of shelling by the russian military in the Kochubeivka community. Every day, the number of wounded in other communities of Beryslav district is increasing. Most of the temporarily occupied villages were damaged, and the liberated villages were practically destroyed.

During the night, the russian army continued shelling Ukrainian positions and settlements – both with the artillery and using coastal missile systems located in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units continue fire control over the enemy’s transport arteries and logistical routes in the occupied territories of Kherson oblast.

The enemy made unsuccessful assault attempts in two directions: Bilohorka – Andriivka and Suhy Stavok – Bila Krynytsia.

Pairs of Su-25 attack aircraft attacked two populated areas of Beryslav district twice. Our positions were shelled five times by pairs of helicopters. There are no losses.

The occupiers shelled the southern outskirts of Kostroma from the Grad rocket multi launcher. One person was killed, one injured, 3 private houses and power lines were damaged.

Ukrainian aviation launched two strikes on enemy strongholds in the Blahodatne and Pravdyne areas.

The South Operational Command confirmed that the command post of the 22nd Army Corps of the Coastal Forces of the Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation was destroyed in Chornobaiivka.

The police opened 10 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes committed by servicemen of the russian army in Kherson oblast over the past day.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office informed a resident of Nova Kakhovka of suspicion of collaborative activity. The investigators established that the suspect agreed to assume the pseudo-position of “chief of the Police Department” in Nova Kakhovka.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Yaroslav Yanushevych to the position of head of the Kherson regional state administration.

Western regions

Volyn

In the Kamin-Kashir district, one of the units of the territorial defense conducted military training classes with the participation of representatives of the Armed Forces, the State Border Service, executive and local self-government bodies of the district.

The Volyn Territorial Defense together with the National Police learned to identify and neutralize enemy subversive and reconnaissance groups.

The RMA reported that UAH 215.2 million was received from the state budget in Volyn for social assistance payments in August.

The non-governmental organization “Medicine in action” donated fire protective clothing and shoes for the needs of Volyn rescuers.

A street artist Andrii Prysiazhniuk updated the mural depicting a trident in the center of Lutsk, painted back in 2015.

In Kovel, solid fuel boilers are being prepared in the boiler houses for the new heating season.

Zakarpattia oblast

Humanitarian aid, a modern rescue boat, was handed over from Zakarpattia to the units of the Odesa Regional Administration.

During a meeting with business representatives and employers, head of Zakarpattia RMA Viktor Mykyta emphasized that thanks to eRobota, the region plans to create over 1 500 jobs by the end of the year.

Humanitarian aid from the “Owl’s Nest” was delivered to the places where the displaced people live.

In Romania, representatives of Zakarpattia Oblast and representatives of the Romanian city of Satu Mare discussed implementation of a joint cultural project between the cities of Satu Mare and Uzhhorod. The project involves renovation of the stage of the Northern Theater of Satu-Mare and the Small Stage of the Zakarpattia Regional Musical Theater.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

A meeting was held in the regional administration regarding assistance to military personnel and their families.

The regional center of Prykarpattya will receive over 2 million euros from the EU and NEFKO to provide housing for internally displaced persons.

As part of the strategic program of psychological rehabilitation of children and adults affected by the war – Mental Health – Parimatch Foundation, 28 psychologists from inclusive resource centers completed the course “Crisis psychological help”, implemented together with experts from the Israeli trauma coalition.

Lviv oblast

314 people arrived in Lviv from the places of war by two evacuation trains. 785 people went to Przemyśl from Lviv Oblast by four trains.

6 adult patients were evacuated from Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts to two medical facilities in Lviv oblast. The condition of people is assessed as severe and moderate. The victims are provided with everything they need.

Head of Lviv RMA, Maksym Kozytsky, took part in the government selector under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. The selector talked about the upcoming heating season, as well as harvest and export and preparation for sowing winter crops.

The Happy Monday career portal within the framework of the “Dream and Act” program is launching the “Your Career Victory” project for Ukrainian youth. Its purpose is to assist young people, especially displaced persons, in professional development and job search.

Over 500 families have already received help in the Office for the Support of Military Families, launched on the initiative of the Lviv Regional Military Administration almost two months ago.

Together with the “KOLO” Charitable Foundation, RMA in the Drohobych region handed over a car to the front as part of the “1000 Cars of Freedom” initiative.

The Stryi district humanitarian headquarters “Klaptyk Nadiya” within the framework of the initiated cultural diplomacy project “KLAPTYK NADIYI.UA” held an action – “Ukrainian Statehood and Embroidered Unity”. Headquarters volunteers organized a photo session for young people in embroidered dresses and shirts. The goal is to draw public attention to Ukrainian culture and history.

The Lviv National Museum launches the NFT-collection “Alternative Dimensions” with works by Rembrandt and Ukrainian folk engravings. Part of the proceeds will be donated to reconstruction of the Chernihiv Regional Museum named after Galan and the Kharkiv Art Museum.

100 children of IDPs, as well as children of Ukrainian soldiers, went to France for the summer vacation from Lviv oblast. During the two weeks abroad, they will be accompanied by French-speaking teachers and medical staff.

Rivne oblast

In Rivne, it was reported that railway stations and streets were mined. People were evacuated. The special services conducted a check. The information was not confirmed.

The RMA reported that the enterprise of Rivne oblast PJSC “Agroresurs” adapts its products to the needs of martial law. “Agroresurs” established production of “burjuyoks”, designed for autonomous and individual heating systems.

Benefactors from the Hertsaiv community purchased an ambulance for the Armed Forces.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA reported that in Ternopil notifications were received about mining the railway station and the Central department store. People were evacuated. The special services checked the premises. The information about mining was not confirmed.

In support of the army, over the past 7 months, Ternopil Oblast transferred UAH 246.7 million in military levies.

Since March, over UAH 30 million in compensation for housing and communal services have been received in Ternopil oblast.

In Ternopil, an ambulance was converted into a mobile dentistry. In the near future, the car will go to the front, where soldiers will be able to have their teeth treated for free.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Oleksandr Kostyuchenko, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, visited with a working visit to Khmelnytskyi. In Khmelnytskyi RMA, they discussed issues related to the organization of the educational process in the conditions of martial law.

Chernivtsi oblast

In Chernivtsi, a bicycle patrol was launched.They will ensure order in places of the greatest concentration of people. It is about public spaces, parks and squares.

International support

The EU allocated 16 million euros for access to education and assistance to victims of sexual violence in Ukraine.

Lithuania provided humanitarian aid in the amount of EUR 500K to support Ukrainian refugees in Moldova.
