Ukraine briefly:

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

Towards Volyn, Polissia and Siversk, the situation has not changed. The enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling in the areas of the settlements of Hai and Bleshnia in Chernihiv oblast and Dmytrivka and Kindrativka in Sumy oblast. Aerial reconnaissance with UAVs is conducted in the border areas.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy fired at civilian infrastructure from tanks, combat vehicles, barrels and rocket artillery in the areas of Cherkaski Tyshky, Duvanka, Husarivka, Nortsivka, Ruska Lozova, Sosnivka, Staryi Saltiv, Shestakove, Tsirkuny. Intensive UAV reconnaissance continues. Airstrikes are launched in Ruski Tyshky. There was an unsuccessful attempt to attack towards Prudianka.

Towards Sloviansk, the positions of the Defense Forces in the areas of Bohorodychne, Dolyna, Dibrovne were shelled. The air strike was inflicted near Virnopillia. The enemy is trying to improve logistics support of its troops.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy fired from barreled and rocket artillery near Vesele, Bohorodychne, Zakitne, Hryhorivka and Spirne. There were air strikes on the settlements of Spirne and Ivano-Dariivka.

Towards Bakhmut, the occupiers shelled military and civilian infrastructure in the areas of Bakhmut, Kodema, Soledar, and Zaitseve. 

The Defense Forces of Ukraine repulsed the enemy’s attempts to attack towards the settlements of Vesela Dolyna, Bakhmut, Kodema, Maiorsk and Zaitseve.

Towards Avdiivka, the enemy fired tanks, barreled and rocket artillery near Avdiivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Staromykhaylivka and Umanske. The invaders made an unsuccessful attempt to attack towards the settlements of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Pervomaiske. He suffered losses and withdrew.

Towards Novopavlivka, there was shelling of our troops’ positions near Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka and Velyka Novosilka. The enemy tried to gain a foothold near Pobeda, but failed.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, Burlatske, Huliaipole, Kamianske, Mala Tokmachka, Novopil, Novoivanivka, Orikhiv, Vremivka,and  Zaliznychne were shelled. The enemy used aircraft to strike near Chervone, Dorozhnianka and Novosilka. 

In the South Buh, the enemy focuses its main efforts on maintaining the positions occupied. There are measures taken to replenish losses and restore logistics support for enemy troops. There was shelling from tanks, barreled and rocket artillery in the areas of Bila Krynytsia, Chervonyi Yar, Dobrianka, Kyselivka, Kvitneve, Lupariove, Mykolaiv, Oleksandrivka, Olhyne, Posad-Pokrovske, Shevchenkove, Topolyne and Velyke Artakove. Airstrikes were carried out near Andriivka, Olhyne and Plotnitske. The enemy cayrries out intensive aerial reconnaissance with UAVs.

In the Black and Azov Seas, the enemy’s ships focus on maintaining a favorable operational regime and blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.


SSU investigators submitted to court an indictment against two “public and political figures” who were preparing to seize state power in Ukraine, coordinating their actions with members of the NGO Ukrainian Choice Viktor Medvedchuk and the reception of the then assistant to the President of the russian federation Vladyslav Surkov. According to SSU investigators, during the annexation of Crimea and the russian military invasion of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, the defendants worked closely with Medvedchuk’s political structures to create a union state of russia, belarus and Ukraine.

According to a survey by the Razumkov Centre, the vast majority of Ukrainians temporarily resettled abroad plan to return to Ukraine and only 7% of respondents do not plan to return. 36% of respondents express their intention to return after they are convinced that it is safe in the area where they lived, 35% – immediately after the war ends, 13% – a year or several years after the end of the war, 7% – after the company where they worked resumes its operation or find another job at home, 11% plan to return in the near future, and 7% do not plan to return to Ukraine at all.


Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops launched an airstrike near Vernopillia. At least 17 settlements were under artillery fire. The invaders failed to advance towards Prudianka and launched air strikes near Ruski Tyshky and Vernopillia. They are also trying to improve the logistics of their troops.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that last night the enemy continued shelling Kharkiv. Smerch multiple rocket launchers were used to shell Nova Bavariia district. The road surface was damaged and windows in the houses broken. Preliminary, there were no casualties.

Referring to the State Emergency Service of Kharkiv oblast, at midnight, three rockets were launched from Belgorod in the direction of Kharkiv. One exploded on russian territory, another one in the air over Shevchenkove district, Kharkiv. The third rocket landed near an educational institution in Kyiv district. Houses and office buildings were damaged and fires broke out. Two women, aged 71 and 81, were injured. There were two fires from shelling. A flat in an apartment building and a room in an office building caught on fire.

The enemy intensively shelled downtown Kharkiv with Pion self-propelled artillery. Houses, rest areas and cars were damaged and several fires broke out. In the evening, russians shelled Zolochiv city, Bohodukhiv district.

According to the Emergency Medical Centre, 4 people were killed and 14 civilians, including a 6-year-old child, were injured as a result of the shelling. A total of 8 civilians were hospitalised with injuries.

The enemy shelled the settlements of Bohodukhiv and Kharkiv districts, destroying residential houses and household structures. One person was hospitalised with injuries.

As a result of the shelling of Kharkiv, a fire broke out at an enterprise in Kyiv district on the afternoon of August 31. According to Kharkiv Mayor, Ihor Terekhov, there is no information about casualties.

Head of Tsyrkuny community, Mykola Sikalenko, informed that in Cherkaski Tyshky, Ruski Tyshky and Tsyrkuny, local authorities are gathering information and preparing lists for the possible evacuation of citizens.

Donetsk oblast

In Donetsk oblast, Ukrainian troops repelled the invader’s offensive in three directions. Our troops stopped the enemy in the directions of Bakhmut, Maiorsk, Vesela Dolyna and Zaitseve settlements. Russian troops also unsuccessfully attacked in the directions of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Pervomaiske settlements. The invaders withdrew with losses. They attempted to gain a foothold in Peremoha. They were unsuccessful.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, informed that russian troops killed 4 civilians: 1 in Bakhmut, 2 in Klishchiivka and 1 in Korsunivka. Two more people were injured.

The invaders shelled settlements in Donetsk oblast 26 times. More shells were launched at Avdiivka, Bakhmut and Sloviansk. Russian troops once again hit residential buildings, schools, civilian infrastructure and communications. There were casualties.

The enemy shelled 17 settlements – Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove and Sloviansk cities, Ocheretyne settlement, Heorhiivka, Ivanivske, Karlivka, Korsunivka, Maiske, Piddybne, Piskunivka, Stepanivka and Tonenke villages. The invaders shelled with artillery, S-300 surface-to-air missile systems, Grad, Uragan and Smerch rocket systems. 47 civilian objects, including 29 residential buildings, were destroyed and damaged.

The enemy attacked Druzhkivka with four missiles from the S-300 SAM system. Two schools, a sports palace, a building and a State Emergency Service vehicle were damaged.

Head of Kramatorsk City Military Administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko, said that at night, the enemy hit Kramatorsk and Sloviansk with rocket attacks, where 12 and 5 civilian buildings were damaged, accordingly. In Kramatorsk, an alley in Pushkin Park was also damaged.

In Chasiv Yar, a residential area and an industrial zone were under fire. Two apartment buildings were damaged. In Kurakhove, russians hit a car park, private cars and municipal vehicles were burnt. The amount of damage and information about the casualties is being clarified.

Referring to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the invaders continue shelling Bakhmut. On August 31, rescuers pulled out a body from the rubble of a collapsed house.

Based on the information provided by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, near Sloviansk, border guards discovered and destroyed a russian ammunition depot.

Mariupol Mayor’s Councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that in Mariupol, russian invaders plan to destroy Kurhan Did, historical site of the 5th millennium B.C. on Pylyp Orlyk Street. Kurhan Did is dated back to the 5th millennium B.C., which means it is the same age as the Egyptian pyramids.

Luhansk oblast

 Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that in the occupied territories of Luhansk oblast, russians are “pressuring” Ukrainian teachers, forcing them to teach children according to the “Rashist” curriculum. Our teachers refuse to cooperate with the enemy and quit the job. Some teachers decided to illegally teach school students according to the Ukrainian curriculum remotely, without betraying their homeland. Those who have left for controlled territories are also preparing for distance learning.

Luhansk oblast Territorial Defence received seven trucks. At present, the vehicles are already working towards victory.

According to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, to date, the names of 404 civilians killed in Luhansk oblast were established.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

The US Senate representatives Rob Portman and Amy Klobuchar have arrived in Kyiv. The delegation visited Bucha, Irpin and Hostomel. They saw the destroyed Antonov airfield and the Mriya plane. Senator Portman promised to tell everyone about things that he has witnessed in Ukraine and prepare the international community to provide long-lasting support for Ukraine.

SSU collected evidence base of crimes committed by three russian servicemen during the temporary occupation of Kyiv oblast. One of them is Lieutenant Colonel Andriy Marushkin, commander of the 15th Separate Guards Alexander Motorised Rifle Brigade, who gave orders to shoot at civilian infrastructure. The crimes committed by the invaders Olexiy Tokmakov and Olexiy Kroshkin have been recorded.

Border guards in Kyiv oblast received thermal imaging cameras from the Ukrainian embassy in Germany. The total cost of the equipment amounts to 50 000 euros. This was not the first time the border guards had been provided with equipment by the team of this diplomatic mission.

State Emergency Service specialists conducted a two-week course for volunteers in Kyiv. The participants were taught basic first aid and rescue techniques for traffic accident victims, actions in case of fire or threat of collapse, as well as actions on finding hazardous objects. A total of 15 people completed the full course and received their certificates.

According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, residents of Kyiv oblast who lost their homes during the war have started to receive new accommodations. All buildings are single-storey, have an area of 98 square meters and are built using a similar layout. The houses are equipped with plumbing fixtures and appliances.

According to the Kyiv City State Administration, the Kyiv Defence Council has decided that public transport will remain stopped during the air raid alert. Information regarding the nearest shelters will be posted at ground transport stops.

The “Communism=Rashism” exhibition has opened in Peremoha Park in Kyiv. The exhibition was created by Ihor Kulyk, the director of the National Memory Archive, and Daryna Rogachuk, the communication manager of the Archive, while the Maidan Museum was a partner of the project. The aim of the exhibition is to show the similarities between the crimes committed by the Soviet Union and russian authorities based on the stories of Ukrainians in the XX and XXI centuries.

The True Victory Foundation is organizing a charity Smile Wanted Fest to raise funds for a mobile dentistry for the military. The art community, entrepreneurs and other responsible citizens will be joining the event. The goal is to raise 2 billion UAH.

Zhytomyr oblast

There was a session in Zhytomyr RMA, where they discussed continuous cooperation with the UN Children’s Fund UNICEF. Thanks to the fund, a number of useful projects for people affected by the war have already been implemented in the oblast: they provided medical assistance to maternity hospitals, helped set up shelters in schools, and provided psychological aid. In the future, they plan to focus on a stable supply of power and heating to hospitals and educational institutions.

In Zhytomyr, internally displaced persons will receive transportation cards free of charge. This decision was approved by the executive committee. According to the Department of Transport and Communications of the City Council, IDPs will be able to get all three types of transport cards, provided they have appropriate documents.

The community and priests of St. Michael’s Cathedral in Zhytomyr will donate a car to the Armed Forces. According to Father Bohdan Boyko, the rector of the cathedral, they have been collecting funds since the beginning of the russian invasion and have already been able to send 11 vehicles for the defenders. The new vehicle has already been blessed and is ready to be sent to the front lines.

Sumy oblast

The russian military shelled 3 border communities in the Sumy oblast – Khotin, Richky and Velika Pysarivka. In the morning, there were more than three dozen explosions on the territory of Velika Pysarivka community. Three times the occupiers shelled the territory of the Bilopillia community with barrel artillery. In the afternoon, more than ten mines exploded on the territory of the Khotyn community. Dmytro Zhivytskyi, the head of Sumy RMA, reported that a total of 133 explosions were recorded.

The head of Sumy RMA, Dmytro Zhivytskyi, visited the hospital in Krolevets. The official handed over 7 laptops purchased by the Ministry of Health using the funds of the state budget to the doctors. Work on providing medical institutions of Sumy oblast with modern equipment continues.

A 16-year-old Alisa Mikheeva from Okhtyrka received the UNICEF Youth Awards. On the eve of the war, she opened a chess club in the local palace of culture, but within a few days it was destroyed by russian bombs. The girl resumed the work of the club as soon as the enemy retreated and now teaches her peers to play chess and organizes tournaments. The award was presented by the First Lady Olena Zelenska.

Chernihiv oblast

The ELV Produkt private Slovakia company provided Chernihiv oblast with humanitarian aid – 90 pillars  for restoration of the contact network.

Serhii Moroz, a young man from Chernihiv, collected UAH 50,000 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine by singing. The volunteer handed over the funds to the leader of the band “Antitila” Taras Topol. Earlier the guy handed over UAH 64,000 to Serhiy Prytula.

On September 17, the speaking club “Yedyni” opened its doors in Chernihiv. This was reported in the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Chernihiv City Council. This is a conversation club of the Ukrainian language, where city residents will be able to effortlessly switch to the state language in everyday life.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The occupiers struck the center of Nikopol several times. This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council Mykola Lukashuk. One woman was hospitalized. She has shrapnel wounds and a mine-explosive injury. More than 30 buildings were damaged, 12 residential buildings among them. A college, a sports complex, a children’s sports school, pharmacies and shops were also affected. Power lines are damaged. A dozen shell casings appeared in the city. The occupiers also shelled Myrivska TC. There were no casualties. 

A 17-year-old boy died in the Synelnikvskyi district. He touched a cluster munition, which detonated. This was announced by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko. This is already the eighth death in the region due to cluster munitions.

Vinnytsia oblast

In the village of Mohylivka of the Hnivan territorial community, a triathlon competition was held at the glamping site “Blue Lake”, which managed to raise about UAH 100,000 for the needs of the Armed Forces. The event was not actively announced for security reasons, so it was attended only by athletes and their relatives.

Kirovohrad oblast

Another train with more than 100  evacuees, including almost 40 children from Donetsk oblast arrived at Kirovohrad oblast. There are several large families. Sokolov community shelters them. 35 children from Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv were born in Kirovohrad Oblast recently.

Poltava oblast

Poltava fishermen collected UAH 420,000 for the KVS Antidron G-6 portable antidrone. The Ukrainian-made complex for suppressing UAV control channels has a blocking radius of up to 3 km. The drone will be used by the 115th military brigade in Donetsk direction.

Cherkasy oblast

In Cherkasy, UAH 21,000 were collected at the “Art has wings” auction. The charity fund “Volunteer Forces of Ukraine” organized the event to purchase a drone for the military of the 54th mechanized brigade. About thirty paintings provided free of charge by local artists were among the lots. According to the head of the Union of Artists, Roman Kravchuk, they plan to hold another auction in a month.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The aggressor attacked the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia, the residential and civil infrastructure of Orikhiv, Huliaipole, and Mala Tokmachka. As a result of the enemy attack, there are wounded and killed. Yesterday, the police registered 25 war crimes committed by the russian army against the civilian population.

During the night, the occupiers fired several rockets at Zaporozhzhia. Several infrastructure facilities were damaged.

Settlements of the Polohy district came under enemy fire. Residential buildings of local residents, the territory of the post office and parking lots were damaged in Orikhiv.

Residents of Huliaipole reported damage to homes, utility and garage buildings. The local psychiatric hospital was damaged.

The local authorities are urging the residents of Orikhiv to evacuate due to increased shelling by russian troops. Evacuation is planned for Zaporozhzhia, as well as central and western cities of the country.

Around 15:00, the IAEA mission arrived in Zaporizhzhia. This was reported in Enerhoatom.

Russian forces are again shelling Enerhodar and accusing the Ukrainian side of the shelling. The city council of Enerhodar was shelled.

The occupiers fired at a dairy farm outside the village Velyka Bilozerka. As a result, 11 buildings, a milking hall and a feed shed were destroyed, and about 1,000 cows killed. 2 workers were injured.

Mykolaiv oblast

The enemy hit Shyroe community twice. There are no casualties.

Shelling of populated areas of the Bereznehuvate community continues. The surrounding territories of Bereznehuvate, the villages Vysunsk and Kavkaz were shelled. Information on the consequences of shelling is being clarified.

As a result of shelling in Mykolaiv, grain silos at an infrastructure facility in Korabelnyi district caught fire, firefighting continues.

The academic year in Mykolaiv will begin online. As of August 31, more than 44K students are registered in the city. More than 17K are abroad.

Odesa oblast

There are 3 enemy Kalibr cruise missile carriers, equipped with 20 missiles, on combat duty in the Black Sea.

Patrol officers detained a man In Odesa.  They found correspondence with russians on his phone. The man was subscribed to Telegram channels with a pro-russian position. The detainee was taken to the police station.

Kherson oblast

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to destroy the enemy’s logistics routes, control points of enemy units, and places where forces and assets are concentrated.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain, during the counteroffensive in the south, Ukrainian troops pushed back the front line in some places, taking advantage of the relatively weak defense of the enemy.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck two control points, warehouses with ammunition, anti-aircraft defense equipment, a radar station, and enemy artillery concentration areas. Fire control over the Kakhovsky and Antonivskyi road bridges has been established.

Confirmed losses of the enemy during the night are 15 occupiers, 3 T-72 tanks, a Tor anti-aircraft missile system, a Forpost attack and reconnaissance drone, 6 units of armored vehicles and 2 ammunition depots.

Ukrainian aviation launched 16 airstrikes on strongholds, ammunition depots, and areas where the occupiers’ manpower, weapons, and equipment were concentrated.

The education system of Kherson oblast worked as efficiently as possible and is prepared to the academic year. It was reported by the regional council. Heads of educational institutions were able to restart the work of schools and vocational schools in the controlled territory.

The so-called occupiers appointed People’s Artist of Ukraine Ruzhena Rubliova as the “director” of two music schools – No. 1 and No. 3 in Kherson.

The russian military arrested two Crimean Tatars, Khalil Ametov and Mamed Mustafaiev. They are suspected of participating in the battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan, recognized as a terrorist organization in the russian federation. They were taken to the Simferopol pre-trial detention center during the occupation of Kherson

Western regions

Volyn oblast

The Lutsk City Council will allocate UAH 10 million for construction of fortifications on the territory of the community and near the border with belarus.

The RMA reported that this year, due to the war, all schools in Volyn will start teaching online.

Head of the budget commission of the Lutsk City Council Andriy Razumovskyi announced that the Lutsk community plans to allocate an additional 5 million UAH for food for internally displaced persons.

10 STARLINK V3 satellite communication stations will be handed over to dispensaries in the Lyubeshiv region.

The RMA sent the car for the needs of the Volodymyr Territorial Medical Association. The Fiat Scudo car is equipped with the necessary professional equipment for transporting people who need urgent medical assistance.

In Lutsk, a student Milana Nedoshytko cut off a long braid, and gave UAH 2K earned for the needs of the Armed Forces.

In Kivertsy, two boys collected UAH 2K for Ukrainian defenders. Young volunteers donated the money to the city council so that it would dispose of it effectively.

Zakarpattia oblast

Head of the Zakarpattia RMA Viktor Mykyta reported that 13 trucks, by decision of the Regional Defense Council, were sent to military units performing combat missions on the front line.

The Zakarpattia RMA reported that the Italian company will manufacture modular housing for employees of relocated enterprises.

According to the decision of the Defense Council, two SUVs were sent to the 79th border detachment, which is currently guarding the state border.

The RMA reported that 87 backpacks with school supplies were received by future first-graders from among forcibly displaced persons. The school sets were handed over by the CF Credo Foundation together with the Zakarpattia IT-cluster.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The Department of Education of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council reported that due to the fact that not all kindergartens in the oblast were able to reopen, children whose parents both work or serve in the Armed Forces will be able to attend them.

Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk RMA Svitlana Onyshchuk announced that 10 oxygen generators will be purchased for Prykarpattia hospitals.

On the outskirts of the city of Kalusha, a two-day training of military personnel in rifle training began.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, a Charity and Sports Event was held, at which over UAH 45K were collected for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv reported that Ivano-Frankivsk sent humanitarian aid to the military on the front lines. The cargo consists of food, personal hygiene items, power banks, flashlights, tools, etc.

Lviv oblast

9 patients from Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts were transported to Lviv oblast by evacuation train for treatment. Among them are two minors, whose condition is assessed by doctors as medium and severe.

The RMA reported that as part of the 1K cars of freedom initiative, the Drohobytsk District Military Administration in partnership with the CF Kolo delivered 2 SUVs to the front. The vans are equipped with humanitarian aid – food kits and other necessary items.

The Lviv Regional Clinical Perinatal Center received from Polish partners 55 midwifery kits for emergency delivery. The kits are completed to compensate for the needs related to the lack of personnel and materials in the destroyed Ukrainian maternity homes.

The Lviv Philharmonic and the INSO-Lviv Orchestra collected almost UAH 100K for the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the charity fair.

A charity fair Strii Organic Fest took place in Strii. About 4K people visited the festival. About UAH 15K collected are planned to be used for the purchase of a mini-excavator for the 65th separate battalion of the Stryi Territorial Defense for construction of fortifications in the front zone.

26 IDP children who spent 21 days vacationing abroad returned from the Netherlands. Children whose parents are currently fighting or died at the front, children from large families and orphans were able to rest abroad.

A meeting of the Lviv Council of Churches and Religious Organizations took place in the Lviv RMA. During the meeting, the Law of Ukraine “On Military Chaplaincy Service” was discussed.

Rivne oblast

Head of the Rivne oblast Vitaly Koval together with deputy head of the President’s Office Kyryll Tymoshenko visited the border points and learned more about the security situation in the Rivne oblast.

Head of the Sarnenska RMA Oleksandr Kohan announced that the Dubeni City Council provided UAH 500K to the Sarnen community to eliminate the consequences of rocket attacks.

The city council reported that the Spanish charitable organization Remar SOS will conduct free medical examinations of residents and immigrants of the Rivne community for a few days.

In part of the schools and kindergartens of the 40-kilometer zone with belarus in Rivne oblast, at the request of parents and teachers, offline education was allowed. Earlier the Defense Council decided that training should only be conducted remotely.

In Varasha, memorial plaques were installed to two natives of Rivne, Viktor Zakharchuk and Vasyl Konovalchuk, who died in Donetsk oblast during a full-scale invasion.

A 7-year-old volunteer from Rivne, Irynka Vasylieva, has been helping the Armed Forces since the beginning of the war. The girl makes decorative wreaths and sells them at fairs and through social networks. Irina’s first purchase was a thermal imager for 1 400 euros, which the girl sent to the unit where her father served. In total, Iryna collected 7K euros for Ukrainian soldiers. The young volunteer was honored by the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the action Child rescuers are heroes of the war.

Ternopil oblast

A meeting of the headquarters for preparation of facilities of housing and communal economy, social area and infrastructure was held in the RMA. They discussed the possibilities of creating reserve stocks of materials, equipment, fuel, mobile modular boiler houses and mobile water purification plants.

At the request of parents and for the safety of students, there will be no outsiders in the shelter during the air raid warning. The shelter in Ternopil schools during the day will work exclusively for students and teachers who are there during their studies.

The charitable foundations Tvori Dobro and Waves of Change donated a Nissan car to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Due to the departure of a large number of children abroad, one of the kindergartens in the Ternopil oblast will be closed.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The State Nuclear Regulation Inspection reported that the IAEA conducted an inspection of the Khmelnytsky NPP in connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

The Khmelnytskyi NPP reported that employees of the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant became blood donors for wounded Ukrainian defenders.

Chernivtsi oblast

In Chernivtsi, a humanitarian aid point has opened in the market. There they provide legal support, help with adaptation and rehabilitation, etc.

In Chernivtsi, the charity foundation Rotary International distributed vitamins to displaced children living in schools and kindergartens of the city.

International support

Since the beginning of the war, the West has transferred 17.5 billion dollars to Ukraine. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. According to him, another 8 billion euros of macro-financial assistance from the EU is expected in the coming months.

Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Sijarto said that the EU will suspend the agreement with russia on simplifying the issuance of visas, but a general ban on their issuance will not be introduced.

Sweden will hand over the seventh aid package to Ukraine. The Armed Forces will receive ammunition for artillery worth 50 million euros. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ann Lind noted that the country’s government will also consider the issue of supplying Ukraine with Archer self-propelled guns and RBS 70 MANPADS.

The Ministry of Defense of Estonia announced that Estonia is ready to train the Ukrainian military within the framework of the future EU mission.

Baykar presented the new Bayraktar Kizilelma jet drone, which will be manufactured in Ukraine.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis proposed to send peacekeepers to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant captured by the russians. He emphasized that the world has never been so close to a nuclear catastrophe. 

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced that the Norwegian government plans to allocate at least 200 million euros to help Ukraine supply gas for the heating season.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) will provide Ukraine with over 1.5 million doses of various vaccines and 30 vehicles for their transportation to the regions.

Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland said that they would introduce visa restrictions for russians regardless of the EU’s decision.

Romanian Foreign Minister Bohdan Aurescu said that the European Union should get rid of any dependence on moscow.

Ukraine and Poland will develop a pipeline project for transportation of vegetable oil to the port of Gdansk. Ministries of agriculture and infrastructure of both countries will be involved in the project.

A mural dedicated to Ukraine was unveiled in Chicago. It depicts a Ukrainian woman who symbolizes the strength of the Ukrainian spirit and the courage of the people of Ukraine.
