Ukraine briefly:

It has been the 188th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion. 

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy continues to focus on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk oblast, holding temporarily occupied areas of Kherson, parts of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts.

The enemy grouping of troops is strengthened towards Donetsk. Units of the 3rd Army Corps are being moved to the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv oblasts. Air and missile strikes of russian occupiers on civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine are ongoing.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed.  

Towards Siversk, the enemy carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Hremiach, Chernihiv Oblast and Novovasylivka, Bachivsk, Starykove, Pisky and Myropilske, Sumy Oblast.

Towards Sloboda region, the enemy continues hostilities to hold the previously occupied lines.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy fired mortars, barreled and rocket artillery at Adamivka, Bairak, Borshchova, Dolyna, Kharkiv, Khrestyshche, Kostiantynivka,  Mazanivka, Oleksandrivka, Ruska Lozova, Svitlychne, Velyka Komyshuvakha, and Udy. Enemy aircraft struck near Hussarivka.

Towards Sloviansk, enemy units continued shelling near Husarivka, Krasnopillia and Pryshyb with barreled artillery and MLRS.

The invaders tried to attack towards Shnurky, suffered fire damage and withdrew.The enemy toll is being clarified.

Towards Donetsk, the enemy is strengthening its troops near Kurakhiv by redeploying individual units from the Central Military District.

The defense forces are conducting positional battles in order to gain a foothold along the contact line. The main efforts of our units are focused on fire damage to control points, air defense, ammunition depots and disruption of the enemy’s logistics system.

Towards Kramatorsk, the areas of Bohorodichne, Hryhorivka, Pereizne, Sloviansk, Sperne, and Vyimka were hit by enemy fire. Airstrikes were recorded near Hryhorivka and Pryshyb.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy fired from tanks, barreled and rocket artillery near Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Kodema, Soledar,  and Zaitseve. The invaders carried out a missile strike on Konstantynivka.

By conducting offensive actions, the enemy tried to advance towards Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna and Zaitseve. The invaders had no success and withdrew.

From several directions simultaneously, the invaders are trying to establish control over the settlement of Kodema. Fighting continues.

Towards Avdiivka, near Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Opytne and Vesele, the invaders carried out mortar and artillery shelling. By offensive and assault actions, they tried to gain a foothold near Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Opytne,  and Pervomaiske. After suffering significant losses, they retreated.

Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy shelled the area near Novopol, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, and Pavlivka.

Towards Zaporozhzhia, the enemy shelled the settlements of Novoprokopivka, Robotyne, Chervone, Huliaipole, Kamianske, Kopani, Mali Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Olhivske Orikhiv, Poltavka, Stepove, Zelene Pole, and Zhaliznychne. Enemy aviation operated near Novodanylivka and Novosilka.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy shelled the settlements of Andriivka, Bilousove, Kalynivka, Kniazivka, Kyselivka, Liubomyrivka, Lozove, Novoselivka, Novohryhorivka, Oleksandrivka, Olhyne, Pervomaiske, Shevchenkove, Shyroke, Stepova Dolyna, Zarichne, and Zelenodolsk.

The enemy launched airstrikes near Andriivka, Davydiv Brod, Osokorivka and Potiomkyne. Carrying out missile strikes, russian occupiers continue destroying civilian objects in the city of Mykolaiv.

Hiding behind the infrastructure of the nuclear power plant, artillery of the russian federation intensified shelling of Nikopol and Aleksiivka.

In the Black and Azov Seas, the enemy’s ships continue conducting reconnaissance and blocking civilian shipping.

The threat of missile strikes on facilities and infrastructure elements in the depths of Ukraine remains. The enemy continues to suffer significant losses, especially in manpower.

Adviser to the Head of the President’s Office Mykhailo Podoliak said that Ukraine had begun to develop evacuation routes from Crimea during the de-occupation of the Ukrainian peninsula. He also added: “It is clear that the lives of citizens are an absolute priority for Ukraine. Therefore, we are developing evacuation routes for residents of the occupied Crimea who want to leave the peninsula for the period of active de-occupation.”

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with members of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission, in particular with Director General of the organization Rafael Grossi. Volodymyr Zelenskyy stresses that Ukraine is interested in the arrival of the IAEA at the Zaporizhzhia NPP and adds about the need for “urgent demilitarization of the plant, the withdrawal of any russian military with explosives, any weapons, liberation of our plant, creation of a demilitarized zone and return of the plant under the control of Ukraine”.

 

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders launched air strikes near Husarivka. More than 10 settlements in Kharkiv oblast were shelled with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that russian invaders used barrel and rocket artillery targeting settlements near the contact line in Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kharkiv districts. Kharkiv was not shelled during the night.

According to the Emergency Medical Service Centre, the bodies of two women who were killed as a result of shelling on August 27 were found in the Bohodukhiv district.

A 57-year-old woman was hospitalized with blast wounds in the Izium district. A man and a woman aged 66 and 60 were hospitalized in the Chuhuiv district.

Based on the information provided by the National Police, the invaders launched nine artillery shells at the Pion installation in Kharkiv on the morning of August 30. A market and a kindergarten were under fire. Residential buildings and a shop downtown were destroyed.

Kharkiv Mayor, Ihor Terekhov, said that central districts were hit 8 times. According to him, Russian invaders shelled the Kyiv district with artillery. A fire broke out in an apartment building. The invaders shelled residential buildings in Pivnichna Saltivka for the second time.

Referring to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, as a result of the enemy strikes four people were killed – three near an apartment building in downtown and one woman in a resting place and 9 others were injured. Two of the injured are in serious condition. The condition of five people is rated by medics as moderate.

Donetsk oblast

russian invaders shelled settlements in Donetsk oblast 26 times. Most shells were launched at Avdiivka, Bakhmut and Sloviansk.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, informed that russians killed 2 civilians in Pivnichne and Rozdolne. Four more people were injured.

Referring to the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, the enemy is preparing schools in Mariupol for opening on September 1. They are bringing in propaganda literature and teachers from russia.

Luhansk oblast

Referring to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, in the Luhansk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hold their positions. There are regular explosions of ammunition depots in the occupied territories. Where the Armed Forces of Ukraine succeed, russia sends in reserves, thereby weakening other parts of the front. Enemy aviation strikes several times a day.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that the educational process was restored in 76 schools in Sievierodonetsk district and only in seven in Shchastia and Svatove. Measures are currently being taken to organise the educational process in Markivka and Mylove communities.

 

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

The SSU has identified another three russian servicemen who abused civilians during the temporary occupation of Kyiv oblast. They turned out to be soldiers of the 64th separate motorised rifle brigade of the 35th Combined Arms Army of russian armed forces – Olexandr Borysov, Rayan Madyaev and Maksym Sulayndzyuha. They are charged with violations of the laws and customs of war.

Kyiv law enforcers are still searching for four children who went missing as a result of the russian invasion. According to Andrii Nebytov, Head of the Kyiv regional police, these children might have been forcefully taken to belarus. The investigators work together with the Red Cross to find out what happened to them.

A new kindergarten for 75 children was opened in Syniak village, Kyiv oblast. Its construction began back in 2019, and the building had sustained minor damage during the war. As of today, the facility is fully renovated, a shelter has been arranged in the premises, and 13 new jobs have been created.

Hospitals in Kyiv oblast employed 116 specialists from the regions with ongoing hostilities. According to the Health Department of the yiv RMA, the goal is to help colleagues who have been forced to leave their homes. A total of 77 doctors, 39 nurses and paramedics were able to find new jobs.

Police squads will be assigned to educational institutions working offline or in mixed format in Kyiv oblast. This was reported during a briefing by the representatives of the Kyiv oblast police. In case of shelling, police officers will assist with evacuation and provide first aid. In total, 88 educational institutions in the oblast will work offline, 299 – in mixed format, and 98 will work remotely.

The Bucha Coin project was created in Bucha to commemorate the victims of the russian invasion. The project was created by Dmytro Voronets and Vlad Kushnir, both residents of Bucha who survived the occupation of the town. They are also planning to sell the Bucha coins abroad and donate part of the revenue for the town reconstruction, the needs of war-affected inhabitants of Bucha, as well as for St. Andrew’s Church.

Zhytomyr oblast

Shelter inspections continue in educational institutions, residential homes, and enterprises in Zhytomyr oblast. As of today, more than 4K premises are ready for use: they have been renovated, provided with water, food and medical supplies, and some of them even have WI-FI connection.

A new project called Social Wardrobe from the Caritas Berdychiv Charitable Foundation will be launched in Berdychiv. The aim of the project is to give free clothing to internally displaced people, people with disabilities, lonely elderly people, and low-income families.

Natalia Kovtun from Yuzhne produces trench bunker candles for the military. To craft a candle, she needs small tin cans, paraffin, wax, stearin and corrugated cardboard. Such candles are used to keep warm during cold seasons and are a good alternative to gas cylinders.

In Zhytomyr, volunteers create Bas-Relief Icons in the memory of those who died for the Independence of Ukraine. The finished works are then handed over to the parents, wives and children of the fallen heroes. As of now, the volunteers have made 550 bas-reliefs.

Ukrainian musicians gave a concert for the border guard servicemen in Zhytomyr oblast. The stars Volodymyr Humenchuk, Maksym Nykytenko, and a famous Ukrainian band Pan Karlo had been performing outside for several hours. This way the organizers are trying to boost the morale of our defenders.

Sumy oblast

Over the past 24 hours, the russian army has fired mortars and artillery at Krasnopillia, Esman, Shalyhine, Znob-Novhorodske and Burin communities. According to the SBGS, the enemy continues shelling Krasnopillia and Velika Pysarovika communities with self-propelled guns. 20 explosions were recorded.

The Buryn community in the Konotop district is included in the list of territories where hostilities are ongoing. The updated list was published on the website of the Ministry of Reintegration. Now it includes 22 border communities of Sumy oblast.

A repaired bridge was opened in the Konotop district, which was destroyed due the military operations of the russian army. As reported in the Sumy RMA, the two parts of the bridge were connected by a reliable concrete structure, a fence and sidewalks were installed. A total of 15 bridges were destroyed in the region due to russian aggression.

The Sumy RMA reported that the asphalt surface destroyed by heavy equipment of the russian army has been restored in Putivl. Almost UAH 400K has been allocated for these works from the reserve fund of the state budget.

Sumy librarians collected over UAH 8K to support Ukrainian defenders. A charity street event Art Blockpost Healing with Art, an exhibition of patriotic literature, various holiday locations, entertainment for children and master classes have been organized for the citizens.

Chernihiv oblast

The SBGS reports that the enemy continues to shell the border areas of Chernihiv oblast. The russian army fired 4 shells at the Novhorod-Siverskyi community.

Vyacheslav Chaus, Head of the regional military administration, said that the situation is under control at the state border within the oblast. Road signs will be restored on the highways of the oblast, with except for a 40-kilometer section along the borders with the russian federation and belarus.

Light masking is being abolished, with the exception of military and critical infrastructure facilities in Chernihiv oblast. Such a decision was adopted by the Defense Council of the oblast. The interval of active lighting can be determined by each community.

The oblast will receive humanitarian support from German energy companies. This was stated by the head of the RMA, Viacheslav Chaus, after a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine, Anka Feldhusen.

The regional military administration reported that this year, children will go offline only to those educational institutions where all security measures observed in the wartime have been met. Teachers will use all forms of training (online, offline, mixed) to ensure a high-quality and safe educational process. 133 educational institutions were damaged, 11 of them were destroyed due the russian aggression in Chernihiv oblast.

The savED charity fund will help rebuild Chernihiv schools. Funds for reconstruction of educational institutions destroyed and damaged by the russian army are planned to be attracted from abroad. They will start with Chernihiv, where 25 of 34 schools were seriously damaged, and two were completely destroyed.

The Chernihiv City Trolleybus Management received pillars for power lines in the amount of 200K euros. This became possible thanks to cooperation with the Lviv company Valvo. Several tens of kilometers of trolleybus lines were damaged in the city during active hostilities.

Children from Chernihiv oblast and other regions, who suffered from the occupation, or whose parents died during the war, were recuperating in the charity center Vifania in Transcarpathia. Leisure time included excursions, active recreation and lessons of human values.

 

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The occupiers once again shelled the Nikopol district from Hrad MRLSs and heavy artillery. This was reported in the Dnipropetrovsk regional council. A fire broke out in the Chervonohryhorivka community as a result of the shelling. A woman was injured. One residential building was destroyed, and more than ten buildings damaged. Electricity and gas supply networks were also affected .About two dozen objects including a bus station, a dozen shops, a library, a cafe, some non-residential buildings and power lines were damaged in Nikopol. The occupiers also struck Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih districts with missiles.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast received an ambulance from the Hungarian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk regional council. The president of the organization Sandor Helb helped to hand over the ambulance, which will be used by doctors from one of the medical facilities in the Kryvyi Rih district.  

Vinnytsia oblast

56 boxes with hygiene products, linen, towels, as well as sweets and board games for soldiers in Vinnytsia hospitals, will be handed over by volunteers of the charity foundation Podilska Hromada. Chairman of the foundation board, Olena Danylova, said that 256 fighters would receive the humanitarian aid purchased with grant money. 

Kirovohrad oblast

In Kropyvnytskyi, stoves will be made for Ukraine’s defenders. Oleksandr Kryshko, a volunteer of the public center Krop:hab, said that they would be made of gas cylinders and tractor discs.

Two exhibitions about the russian-Ukrainian war were opened in the Kropyvnytskyi regional museum. They display photos, personal belongings, remnants of rockets that exploded on the territory of the Kirovohrad oblast, as well as “trophies” from the occupiers.

Poltava oblast

In Poltava, internally displaced children and children from low income families were given school supplies. This became possible due to the all-Ukrainian action School Bag initiated by the international charity fund Caritas Ukraine. More than two hundred families received stationery.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of the Cherkasy RMA, announced that enhanced security measures will be implemented in Uman from 19th to 30th of September.The regional defense headquarters and the RMA came to this decision due to the high probability of missile attacks and terrorist threats from the russian side who might use the traditional arrival of piligrims to Uman to celebrate Rosh Hashanah for provocations.

 

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The police recorded 43 reports about the destruction of civilian infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia oblast by the russian occupation army. The occupiers shelled Zaporizhzhia, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Malokaterinivka, Olhivske, Poltavka, Novosily, Mali Shcherbaky.

Objects of civil infrastructure in the cities of Orikhiv and Huliaipole in Polohy district suffered the most enemy attacks. Residents of Orikhiv reported dozens of burnt-out houses and destroyed outbuildings. In Huliaipole, besides residential buildings, the enemy targeted a local kindergarten.

On August 29, russian soldiers shot cars with civilians in an evacuation convoy on the way out of Vasylivka. This was announced by the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov. The russian military deliberately let out many autos from Vasylivka and fired at them in the “gray” zone from a distance of 50-100 meters. There were no casualties, but many who wanted to evacuate were frightened and turned back.

In Zaporizhzhia, the commander of the 3rd battalion of the 129th rifle regiment of the 70th army of the russian federation was sentenced to 15 years in prison for treason. The SSU investigators found that a resident of Donetsk oblast, under the leadership of the command of the occupying forces, took part in hostilities against servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a fire adjuster in Zaporizhzhia. A local resident collected intelligence on deployment, movement and armament of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in the southern direction. The attacker transmitted the received information via a closed telephone channel to his curator in russia.

10-year-old Maksym Brovchenko draws and sells paintings, and sends the collected funds to help the Ukrainian army. The young artist has transferred UAH 60K to the army.

Mykolaiv oblast

During the day, russian occupation troops launched missile and artillery strikes on the infrastructure in Mykolaiv. It is known that one person was injured and another one killed.

The police documented 10 damaged residential buildings, other infrastructure facilities and a car after the massive shelling of Mykolaiv. There are killed and injured civilians.

During the day, the settlements of Ochakiv, Chervone and the territory of the Bashtanka district were under enemy shelling. As a result of the explosions, private residential buildings were destroyed.

At dawn, the enemy twice attacked the Bashtanka district with Kh-31 air-based missiles. There are no casualties.

On August 29, firefighters extinguished 4 fires in Mykolaiv oblast caused by enemy shelling.

Pyrotechnicians of Mykolayiv oblast removed 14 ammunition items. In total, 3,283 explosive objects have been defused since the beginning of the russian aggression

Patrons from Denmark donated 100 beds for Mykolaiv, which are intended for medical institutions and bomb shelters.

On August 31 from 8am the Mykolaiv Regional Blood Transfusion Station invites donors of all blood groups and Rh factors. Donors have the opportunity to receive a food kit from the charity Svitli Spravy.

A shelter stop, similar to the one recently opened in Kharkiv, is planned to be built in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv.

Odesa oblast

On the morning of August 30, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down a russian drone over Odesa. This was reported by the South Operational Command.

The enemy naval group in the Black Sea continues to keep 24 high-precision Kalibr missiles at the ready.

The Netherlands will allocate 1 million euros for the development of priority reconstruction projects in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson. This was announced by Minister of Foreign Trade and Cooperation for Development of the Country, Lissier Schreinemacher.

The readiness of housing and communal facilities and the social sphere in Odesa oblast for the heating period exceeds 80%. This was reported by the RMA.

Schools in Odesa oblast will work in different formats during the war. The model of the educational process is formed by each pedagogical council together with parents. 326 schools out of 509 that have shelters, have already decided on the training format: 59 have chosen offline teaching format, and 267 – a mixed one. In institutions that do not have shelters, there will be distance learning.

Kherson oblast

The situation in the operational zone towards the South Buh remains difficult, but is controlled by the Defense Forces. Positional battles continue to gain a foothold on the front line.

During the night, Ukrainian bombers launched 2 airstrikes on enemy buildups in the area of Kyselivka and Kostyrka.

Missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine performed more than 220 fire missions, including strikes on 3 bridges – Antonivskyi automobile, Antonivskyi railway and Dariivskyi.

Last night, Ukrainian artillery units hit 13 enemy control points in Kherson, Beryslav and Kakhovka districts.

The enemy’s air defense positions were hit with six airstrikes using various means of air damage.

The enemy toll during the night amounted to 159 occupiers and 60 units of enemy equipment were destroyed. A reconnaissance drone was destroyed in Pravdyne at night.

Over the past day, police officers opened 15 criminal proceedings regarding war crimes committed by the russian military personnel and collaborators in the region. russian servicemen en masse rob private houses and take away property in Kherson and the oblast.

Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the russian military has destroyed 42 medical institutions and 101 educational institutions in Kherson oblast.

The Kherson regional prosecutor’s office informed a resident of Kherson oblast of suspicion of collaborative activity. The man voluntarily agreed to head the so-called “Inspection of Agricultural Supervision of the Regional State Administration of Kherson oblast”.

The so-called “deputy head of Kherson Oblast” Kyrylo Stremousov fled to russia and continues to support russian aggression from there.

 

Western regions

Volyn oblast

The RMA reported that the Volyn Territorial Defense strengthens the line of defense on the border with belarus. Hundreds of new dugouts, firing points, trenches, main and reserve combat positions, etc. appeared.

Estonia sent humanitarian aid to Volyn rescuers to ensure uninterrupted operation of special equipment during emergency situations. Humanitarian cargo weighing over 3 tons consists of generators, compressors, solar panels, portable power plants, etc.

The Boratyn primary health care center received a car for a mobile medical team. This became possible thanks to participation in the project implemented by Volyn oblast and the Red Cross Societies of the oblast.

A charity fair was organized in Kivertsy in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. UAH 100K was collected during the event. With these funds, the community will purchase a car for the front line.

On the City Day, Novovolynsk collected UAH 55K for the Armed Forces.

Boys from Lutsk, Serhii Zaiats and David Shchehelskyi, who collected money for Bayraktar by selling cherries, returned from Turkey. They rested there with their mothers for 9 days. The trip to the boys was paid for by representatives of the Baykar plant after they had seen the story about them.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the school bus driver of the Hyrkopolonkiv Lyceum Yurii Zan with the III degree Order of Merit. At the beginning of the full-scale war, Yurii Zan was transporting civilians from the war zone to places of temporary stay.

The Western regional office of the State Border Service of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian stars performed a concert program for the border guards of the Volyn detachment in Lutsk and visited the military personnel guarding the Ukrainian-belarusian section.

The RMA reported that in Lutsk, out of 45 boiler houses, only two operate on solid fuel, the rest – on gas. To save money and reduce heating costs, individual heat points are installed in city high-rise buildings. Firewood is actively harvested in the districts.

Zakarpattia oblast

The Department of Emergency Situations of the oblast reported that the Zakarpattia rescuers received a Mercedes-Benz tank truck from their Swiss colleagues. Stefan Baumann, a representative of the Voluntary Fire Department of the city of Bruges, personally handed over the keys to the car.

The Vynohrad City Council in cooperation with the People in Need Slovakia organization, backpacks were presented to first-graders from among internally displaced persons.

160 children from Western Ukraine and forcibly resettled from the war zone rested in Vyshkov. Financial support was provided by the Ministry of Foreign Economy and Foreign Affairs of Hungary.

The title Honorary Citizen of the City of Uzhhorod was posthumously awarded to 17 fallen soldiers.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

In Ivano-Frankivsk, 47 secondary education institutions and 40 preschool institutions will operate offline. 3 schools and 5 kindergartens will not be able to meet children face-to-face – this is the conclusion of the Military-Civil Administration based on inspection reports.

In the city of Kolomyia, they started giving out sets of school stationery to children. This opportunity appeared thanks to the cooperation of the local authorities with the Swiss charity Terre des Hommes.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, the exhibition Lost Home and social videos about the problems of displaced persons were presented. The event was organized by the Ivano-Frankivsk regional organization Young Education with the support of the international humanitarian organization CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) within the framework of the Support Spaces project.

Lviv oblast

An online meeting with representatives of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs took place in the Lviv RMA. They discussed the issue of hosting internally displaced persons in the oblast and preparing for the academic year.

Paul Massaro, Senior Advisor of the Helsinki Commission under the US Congress, came to Ukraine and visited Lviv, meeting with Mayor of the city Andrii Sadovyi.

German Peter Borsdorff from the twin city of Duren organized a charity marathon in his homeland to raise funds for the needs of small Ukrainians. As a result, it was possible to collect UAH 150K. to install a playground in the Nezhukhiv kindergarten.

At the Way to Victory charity concert in Prylbychy, UAH 42K was collected to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the Ethnofest in the Drohobych region, UAH 27K was collected for Ukrainian defenders.

A mobile center for psychological assistance for IDPs from the Maltese Service has started operating in the Stryi Park in Lviv.

About 50 children who moved to Lviv oblast from the territories of hostilities took part in rafting down the Dniester River. The action was held within the framework of the initiative of the Lviv RMA Summer without Worries.

50 children who moved to Lviv oblast from Mykolaiv oblast rested and recovered in the Carpathians are Calling camp in Vorokhta. The organizers of the event are the Children’s Service of the Lviv RMA in cooperation with the CF Care of the Future and New Horizons for Children.

In Lviv oblast, a project of stories about conscious transition to the Ukrainian language Ukrainian will Overcome is being launched. Interesting stories from personal experience will appear on the pages of the Lviv RMA in social networks.

Rivne oblast

Head of the Rivne RMA Vitalii Koval reported that roofs and windows of private houses completely damaged by missiles were restored in Sarny. Work continues on replacing windows in private homes and the Central District Hospital.

In Rivne oblast in a 40-kilometer zone from belarus, only distance learning will be introduced in schools. Such a decision was adopted by the Defense Council of the oblast.

The RMA reported that since the beginning of the war, 15K displaced children have moved to Rivne oblast.

Over UAH 200K was collected for the Ukrainian military at a charity show and fair in Varasha.

At the Peace and Health DEUS VULT charity bike ride, it was possible to collect about UAH 100K. The collected funds will be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces. The event was organized by the Rivne Regional Clinical Hospital named after Yurii Semeniuk.

During the charity fair Together to Victory, which took place in the village of Malynivka, about UAH 65K was collected to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

87-year-old Viacheslav Naidionov from Varasha donated UAH 35K of his own savings for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA reported that as of today, 77% of institutions in Ternopil oblast can study offline.

The RMA reported that this year, 1 543 students who moved from oblasts where hostilities are ongoing will start their studies in Ternopil oblast.

The territorial community of Shumsk reported that the emergency medical care center in Shumsk received a portable ultrasound machine from the American public organization Team Rubicon.

The book Ukrainian Language for Turkish-Speaking Students. Basic Level was published  by the Ternopil RMA in cooperation with the Ukrainian Mutual Aid Society in Istanbul.

The RMA reported that an educational hub has opened in Ternopil, where IT specialties, working professions, Ukrainian and English languages ​​will be taught free of charge. The hub will provide psychological and emotional support.

Ternopil children weave bracelets and sell them on the streets of the city. With the funds received, the girls have already purchased 25 balaclavas and sent them to the military.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The RMA reported that 65% of schools and 56% of kindergartens in Khmelnytskyi oblast are ready for full-time training.

A charitable shipment of medical supplies from Germany arrived at the humanitarian hub at the RMA. It includes various dressing materials, ointment compresses, etc. In the near future, all the means will be transferred to the health care institutions of the oblast.

35 children of Khmelnytskyi returned from a vacation in France, organized by the French side.

Chernivtsi oblast

The city council reported that displaced people will be living in eight educational institutions in Chernivtsi.

Bukovyna boarding and educational institutions received over 200 household appliances from Japanese benefactors. This became possible thanks to the project implemented by the Chernivtsi Regional Organization of People with Disabilities Leader with the financial support of the Japanese organization AAR Japan.

 

International support

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba announced that Ukraine received another package of military aid from the Swedish government.

The Air Force of Slovakia reports that in the coming days, the Air Force of Ukraine will receive nine MIG-29 AS and two MIG-29 UBS from Slovakia.

The EU will supply Ukraine with 5.5 million tablets of potassium iodide. The drugs were received by the Ukrainian government to enhance  protection of people living around the ZNPP.

The IAEA mission arrived in Kyiv. Soon, 14 inspectors will go to the ZNPP. The mission includes experts from Poland, Lithuania, France, Italy, Jordan, Mexico, Albania, North Macedonia, Serbia and China. Experts must assess the physical damage to objects on the territory of the ZNPP, functionality of main and backup protection and safety systems, and working conditions of the plant’s personnel.

Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson announces that his country will transfer 850 Black Hornet microdrones to Ukraine.

After the de-occupation of Ukraine’s territories, Italy will allocate about 2 million euros to demine them.

The EU offers to train Ukrainian snipers, sappers and officers.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of France Emmanuel Macron had a phone conversation. The heads of state discussed the IAEA mission to the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

G7 stated that russia threatened Ukraine, neighboring states and the international community by increasing the risk of a nuclear accident at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. The G7 calls on the russian army to leave the ZNPP and Ukraine as a whole.

Head of the German Foreign Ministry Annalena Burbock stated that Germany offers EU countries to suspend the simplified visa regime with russia.

The  Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Moravetskyi announces that Poland insists that the EU should stop issuing visas to russians, except humanitarian ones.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands announces that the Netherlands insists on the ban on issuing EU tourist visas to russians.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Poland and representatives of the European Commission, will open a special medical hub in the Polish city of Rzeszow for Ukrainian patients who are evacuated for specialized treatment to European clinics.
