Ukraine briefly:

It has been the 186th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion. 

Here is operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6pm:

The enemy continues to focus its efforts on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk oblast, holding the seized areas of Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts.

Air and missile strikes on civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine continue.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed significantly.  

Towards Siversk, the enemy continues to hold separate units of the Western Military District in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts. To constrain the actions of  the Defense Forces units, the enemy shelled Hremiach in Chernihiv Oblast and Iskryskivshchyna, Nova Sloboda, Novovasylivka and Turia of Sumy oblast. Aerial reconnaissance of the border areas with UAVs was conducted.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy fired from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery targeting Bairak, Chepil, Kharkiv, Mospanove, Petrivka, Prudianka, Protopopivka, Pryshyb, Ruski Tyshky, Velyki Prokhodyand Zamulivka. Airstrikes were launched near Rubizhne. Intensive UAV reconnaissance continues. 

The enemy attempted to gain a foothold near Svitlychne, had no success and withdrew.

Towards Sloviansk, there was enemy shelling near Dovhenke, Dolyna, Dibrovne,  Karnaukhivka and Velyka Komyshuvakha. 

By conducting offensive and assault actions, the enemy tried to advance towards Borohodychne, yet suffered losses and was repulsed.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy continued firing at Sloviansk, Spirne and Verkhniokamianske. Airstrikes were launched near Hryhorivka.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in Bakhmut, Maiorsk, Rozdolivka, Soledar and Vesela Dolyna. Enemy aircraft hit Kodema and Yakovlivka.  The Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the invaders’ offensive near Vesela Dolyna.

Towards Avdiivka, the enemy fired from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery at the areas of Krasnohorivka, Nevelske, Novooleksandrivka, Niu York, Opytne, Orlivka, and Pervomaiske. The invaders made an unsuccessful offensive attempt near Pervomaiske, suffered losses and withdrew.

Towards Novopavlivka, the enemy continued shelling near Bohoyavlenka, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka and Vuhledar. The invaders tried to gain a foothold near Pavlivka, but failed.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the enemy fired from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery at Burlatske, Chervone, Huliaipole, Huliaipolske, Kamianske, and Vremivka. Airstrikes were launched  near Poltavka.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy fired from available weapons in the areas of Andriivka, Kniazivka, Kvitneve, Kyselivka, Lozove, Luparevo, Myrne, Mykolaiv, Olhyne, Partyzanske, Posad-Pokrovske, Shyroke, Stepova Dolyna, Topolyne, Velyke Artakove, and Veselyi Kut. Airstrikes were carried out near Andriivka and Oleksandrivka. The enemy conducts aerial  reconnaissance with UAVs.

In the Black and Azov Seas, the situation has not changed significantly. 

Our missile and artillery units continue to hit buildup of the occupiers’ personnel and military equipment. In some areas, the enemy has significant losses in manpower.

Next week, on behalf of the President of Ukraine, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will visit Sweden and the Czech Republic to consolidate international support for Ukraine and increase sanctions pressure on russia. On August 29, Dmytro Kuleba will arrive in Stockholm, where he will meet with Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, hold talks with Foreign Minister Anne Linde, and meet with the leadership of the Swedish Parliament of the Riksdag and political parties in Sweden. Key topics will be countering russian aggression, further military, financial and humanitarian support for Ukraine, the path to our country’s membership in the EU and reconstruction of Ukraine. He will take part in an informal meeting of foreign ministers of member states on visa restrictions for russian citizens and the 8th sanctions package. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine will hold bilateral meetings with Czech high-ranking officials Chairman of the Senate Milos Vystrchil and Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies Marketa Pekarova Adamova.

Under the grain agreement, six more vessels with Ukrainian agricultural products have left the ports of Odesa oblast. Unloading of vessels with grain in Ukrainian ports continues under the control of the Joint Coordination Center. Within the framework of the Initiative for the Safe Transportation of Grain and Food from Ukrainian ports, 44 vessels with more than 1 million tons of agricultural products have been loaded to 15 countries of the world. 

Due to the international representation of the Red Cross, it was possible to organize communication with the russian federation and return 541 dead defenders of Ukraine. This was announced by Commissioner for Missing Persons under Special Circumstances Oleh Kotenko. He also added: “It is difficult to negotiate with the aggressor, but we have already managed to return 541 dead defenders. 428 bodies were delivered from Mariupol, of which more than 300 were defenders of Azovstal.”

Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast 

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an assault by russian invaders in the direction of Dovhenke. The invaders conducted intensive UAV reconnaissance and made an unsuccessful attempt to gain a foothold near Svitlychne village.

Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that the invaders shelled Kharkiv and settlements in Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kharkiv. Houses and industrial facilities were damaged and forest fires broke out.

According to the Emergency Medical Service Centre, one person was killed in Zolochiv settlement, Bohodukhiv district. In Donets village, Izium district, one person was injured. Another injured person was hospitalized in Slatyne settlement.

Kharkiv wasn’t shelled overnight. However, the invaders launched two rockets from Belgorod. Explosions were heard near Pivdenne city and Travneve settlement, Kharkiv district. Preliminarily, there were no casualties.

Kharkiv Mayor, Ihor Terekhov, said that the invaders launched two rocket attacks on downtown Kharkiv in the evening. One administrative building was destroyed. There were no casualties so far.

Donetsk oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the invaders shelled five settlements in Donetsk oblast 16 times. They hit residential areas with rockets, artillery, MRLs and S-300 surface-to-air missiles.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, informed that russians killed one civilian in Bakhmut. 2 people were injured.

Sloviansk was shelled overnight: eight apartment buildings were damaged and one of the shells hit a school yard. There were no casualties. Also at night, Kramatorsk was under fire – russians targeted the railway infrastructure and damaged residential buildings next to it. There were no casualties.

Mariupol Mayor’s Councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that in occupied Mariupol, new radiators and heating pipes are being installed in burned flats without windows.

Luhansk oblast

Referring to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the enemy continues massive shelling of settlements and fortifications of Ukrainian troops on the border between the two regions. The main efforts were concentrated in the Bakhmut direction.

russians wanted to break through the Armed Forces’ defence in six places. Twice they organized an air assault with the support of aviation, launching air strikes near four settlements. Our troops managed to thwart the offensive in all directions.

Last night, russians launched 17 artillery attacks. In five cases they used multiple-launch rocket launchers. On the other four, tanks were involved.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that the invaders are not interested in development of mines and refineries in the occupied cities of Luhansk oblast only officials and bankers are hired.

Based on the information provided by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the occupation authorities of the so-called “Luhansk People’s Republic” prepared a guidebook for teachers with recommendations for the first lesson on “My History” in schools. The guidebook includes all narratives of russian propaganda about Ukraine’s history.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

In Kyiv, a patriotic action of solidarity of the right and left banks of the Dnipro river took place, during which a 430-meter flag of Ukraine was stretched across the entire bridge. More than 150 people joined the action, including forced migrants from the east and south of Ukraine. In this way, the activists wanted to demonstrate unity and support Ukrainians who are currently under occupation.

On the initiative of Ukrzaliznytsia, a mobile sports and patriotic camp “Iron Shift” was created, where members of the “Lokomotiv” football club will rest. After a full-scale invasion, students from football schools in Mariupol, Kherson, Mykolaiv and other cities joined the club. For 12 days, teenagers will travel around Ukraine, meet interesting people, play sports, study military affairs and tactical medicine, and also attend business and leadership classes.

The”Kashtan” kindergarten in the village of Byshiv, Fastiv district, damaged by russian shelling, is being renovated. Some premises were completely destroyed. For the normal life of the community, it is extremely important to restore educational institutions and provide shelters for them.

Zhytomyr oblast

Basketball competitions were held in Zhytomyr for the first time in six months after the start of the full-scale war. Participation in the tournament was free. During the charity tournament, athletes collected UAH 8 000 for the needs of the Armed Forces.

The farmers of the Zhytomyr oblast continue to carry out economic activities and help the forced migrants. As reported in Zhytomyr RMA, one of such enterprises is the farm “Sadiba “Babina Loza” in the Malyn region. Since the beginning of the war, the farm sheltered women and children who were escaping from shelling and bombing.

Sumy oblast

Over the past day, the enemy struck the territories of Khotyn, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Znob-Novgorodske (Shostka district) and Nova Sloboda (Konotopsky district) communities. As reported in Sumy RMA, more than 220 hits of shells and mines were recorded.

Two people were injured, private houses and farm buildings were damaged in the village, and cattle were injured due the shelling of the Nova Sloboda community.

Private houses were damaged, and fires broke out in the buildings of the college, school, kindergarten, and post office due the mortar shelling of the village of Iskryskivshchyna in the Bilopillia community. Firefighters extinguished the fire.

The French non-governmental humanitarian organization ACTED provides residents of Okhtyrka with multi-purpose cash assistance in the amount of UAH 6 660 for each family member. This was reported in the Okhtyr City Council. First aid will be given to the residents of private houses and high-rise buildings that have suffered the greatest destruction due to the actions of russian terrorists. Families who continue to live in the Okhtyrka community can apply for these payments.

Participants of Ukrainian clubs of historical reconstruction held a training volunteer tournament in the Round Yard of Trostyanets. The athletes plan to hold exhibition tournaments in cities where there are no hostilities, and to direct the collected funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Chernihiv oblast

The Chernihiv border detachment reported that over the past day, russian troops shelled the territory of the Novgorod-Siverskyi community with barrel artillery and mortars. 43 explosions were recorded.

The enemy fired at the border of the Semenivka community. As reported in Chernihiv RMA, livestock of a local agricultural enterprise were injured and a house on the outskirts of the border village caught fire due to an enemy strike.

Chernihiv oblast was visited by a delegation of representative authorities from Lithuania, Finland, Latvia and Estonia, headed by Lithuanian Ambassador Valdemaras Sarapinas. This was reported in the Chernihiv military administration. It was about restoration of the oblast and preparation for a possible increase of the military threat from the russian federation. The delegation inspected destruction caused by the war, as well as the modular town in Novoselivka.

Work has begun on a new exposition dedicated to the events of today’s russian-Ukrainian war in the Oster Museum of Local Lore. An exhibition devoted to Ukrainian heroes who helped Chernihiv oblast to survive will soon be opened there. The museum is experiencing the second war in the history of its existence. During the russian occupation in February 2022, museum workers continued to take care of the building and heating, so that the museum exhibits were not damaged.

The famous Ukrainian writer Andrii Lyubka visited Chernihiv on a volunteer mission. This was reported by the “Regional Administration of the Forces of TrD “North”. With its help, about 40 cars were purchased for the Armed Forces. In addition, a minibus with humanitarian aid for the civilian population and defenders was handed over to the “Protect Ukraine!” CF.

Children from Chernihiv collected funds for the purchase of a drone for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and handed them over to volunteer Serhiy Prytula. They organized a fair with goodies and handmade jewelry for this,. During the meeting, the well-known volunteer received a gift from the children a painting depicting Bayraktar and sunflowers.

The education department of the city council reported that the project in the format of summer activities for children “KOLO Clubs” was implemented in Chernihiv. The locations were organized on the basis of 11 educational institutions with the support of the Finnish non-governmental organization Finn Church Aid (FCA), public organizations GoGlobal and “Development of civic competences in Ukraine DOCCU”. The cells were filled with classes in different directions and included in the educational program the issues of democracy, European values, and the rights of people, in particular, children.

A presentation of the book “One Hundred Days of Wide War” by journalist Vasyl Chepurny was held in Chernihiv. According to the writer, since the beginning of the russian invasion, he was in the village and due to the lack of communications, the Internet and electricity, every day he made notes, which he posted on Facebook whenever possible. He relied exclusively on his impressions, emotions and thoughts.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

It was another night of hard shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Nikopol area was shelled from Grad MRLS and heavy artillery. There were no casualties. Russians shelled Nikopol three times. More than 1 500 families were left without electricity.

In the Marganets community, one house was destroyed and up to ten were damaged. The explosion affected the warehouse and shops of the local factory. The power line was damaged in the city. Residential buildings were also damaged in the Chervonohryhorivska community.

Head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA Valentyn Reznichenko announced that Hurricane MRLS hit the Zelenodolsk community of Kryvyi Rih district. There they again hit the country estate and the enterprise. There are no casualties or injuries.

Vinnytsia oblast

State-of-the-art mobile prostheses are manufactured in Vinnytsia from imported parts. Dozens of defenders of Ukraine are currently getting medical  aid in the orthopedic center to return to living a full life. Patients receive a full range of care. For our defenders, stay and treatment at the center is free.

Kirovohrad oblast/Cherkasy oblast

In Uman and Kropyvnytskyi, the race “I honor the soldiers, I run for the Heroes of Ukraine!” took place. Olena Stepanok, co-organizer of the event announced that half a hundred residents of Kropyvnych took part. The race distance is 500 meters. In Uman, families of captured Azov soldiers joined the race. After the race, they wrote their wishes on a flag with wishes, which will be handed over to the front. In memory of the fallen soldiers, the action participants laid flowers and lit candles on the Alley of Glory.

Poltava oblast

12-year-old Anya and Yuliya Chuiko from Poltava oblast sew key rings and sell them to raise money for our soldiers. They are invited to charity events to continue help the Armed Forces. In total, the patriots have collected more than UAH 4 000.

 

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The situation towards Zaporizhzhia has not changed significantly. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied positions.

The occupiers shelled the infrastructure in the areas of Zaporizhzhia, Tavriiske, Kamianske.

The police recorded 28 shelling on the territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast.

At night, russian troops launched several rocket strikes at infrastructure facilities in the Shevchenkivsky district of Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the shelling, two people got shrapnel wounds. 9 high-rise buildings and 40 private buildings were destroyed (two of them were completely destroyed).

Enemy shelled village of Tavriiske, Zaporizhzhia district. Local residents reported 15 destroyed houses. The houses were left without roof covering, with chopped facades and broken windows.

Yesterday, the police received a report about the shelling by russian troops of a 4-story residential building in the temporarily occupied Kamianka, Pologiv district. Zaporizhzhia RMA reported that as a result of the armed attack, civilians were killed, including two minor boys. 

From 4 to 6 a.m., the russian armed forces shelled Orihiv with multiple rocket launchers. As a result of shelling, private houses were destroyed. There were no casualties.

On the night of August 28, the facilities, where the occupiers located, were destroyed in Melitopol and the district. In Myrne, a building where they were preparing to hold a pseudo-referendum was destroyed. In Melitopol, one of the largest russian military bases, located on the territory of the “Avtocolorlit” plant, was badly damaged.

In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, representatives of the russian federation are preparing to hold a “poll” instead of the previously planned “referendum”. This was reported by the mayor Ivan Fedorov. The format was changed due to extremely low support for russia from local residents. According to the latest data, the actions of occupiers are supported by less than 10% of Melitopol residents.

Enerhoatom reported that the radiation cloud in the event of a severe accident at the Zaporizhzhia NPP will cover part of southern Ukraine and southwestern regions of russia. 

1 583 people, including 482 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory.

Mykolaiv oblast

In the morning, the enemy again shelled the village Shevchenkove, Mykolaiv district. As a result of strikes, a private household was destroyed and a residential building caught fire.

At night, russian troops once again shelled the outskirts of the village of Shyroke. The information on damage and victims is being clarified.

A 52-year-old man was injured as a result of explosions in Liubomyrivka, Mykolaiv district.

The shelling of the Bereznehuvate community continued last day. According to preliminary information, there are no victims. Damage information is being clarified.

The Spanish organization “Help to Ukraine” handed over a device for remote medical diagnosis of people, as well as a Land Rover car with seven passenger seats to Mykolaiv oblast.

Mykolaiv volunteers from the “Homeiak” organization distributed 50 food kits to single mothers, large families, people with disabilities and pensioners. Volunteers have been helping military and civilians since the first days of the war.

Odesa oblast

A ship group of the enemy fleet consisting of 11 units is kept near the Crimean coast. 3 missile carriers, including 1 submarine, keep 20 Kalibr missiles at the ready.

On August 28, 6 ships with Ukrainian grain left the ports of Odesa region. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Turkey.

Kherson watermelon was sold at an auction in Iuzhne for UAH 2 000. It was taken away by the residents of Hola Prystan during the evacuation. Proceeds will go to help the Armed Forces.

Kherson oblast

Ukrainian defenders hit three control points in Kherson, Dariivka and Nova Kakhovka. Ammunition warehouses in Liubimovka and Kherson were also affected.

The bridge and the crossing over the Ingulets River have been damaged and are not functioning, being  under the fire control of the Armed Forces.

Ukrainian aviation struck 3 enemy strongholds in Soldatske and Oleksandrivka, as well as buildup of manpower, weapons and equipment in Vysokopillia.

Rocket-artillery units destroyed 35 occupiers, a “Msta-B” howitzer, a “Nona” self-propelled artillery gun, 9 units of armored and automotive vehicles, 2 ammunition depots in Dudchany and Davydiv Brid, and 1 field supply point in Voskresenske.

The enemy targeted and destroyed a public toilet on the outskirts of Novovorontsovka with a high-precision Kh-59 air-to-surface missile fired from a Su-35.

The commanders of the 83rd and 11th brigades of the russian army, together with their families, are gradually moving from the right bank of the Dnipro in Kherson oblast to a safer place. This is reported by the Grouping of Troops ‘Kakhovka’. 

The russian military occupied the premises of the Administrative Services Center in Nova Kakhovka. The russian propaganda showed this to their viewers as if they had “built” the Center for rapid integration with the russian federation.

To avoid shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian soldiers will live in schools, where the educational process will take place at the same time. This was reported by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies.

 

Western regions

Volyn oblast

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Volyn reported that rescuers rehearsed actions in the event of the release of dangerous chemicals as a result of an accident on the railway in Volyn.

Zakarpattia oblast

An exhibition and sale of works by famous Zakarpattia artists, a tasting fair of local producers and a concert by Ukrainian stars were held in the Derenivska Kupeli sanatorium complex. During the event, almost UAH 250K were collected for the needs of the Ukrainian army and UAH 260K was donated by the sanatorium.

A BIG CITY RIDE with a thematic dress code took place in Uzhhorod. Participants covered the route with embroidered jackets. Over UAH 70K were transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces. The initiator of the event is the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Zakarpattia oblast.

During the summer, young children from Zakarpattia Polina and Katrusia collected funds to help Ukrainian defenders by selling self-made jewelry. Thanks to the Charity Foundation Happiness in the Palms of Zakarpattia uniforms for the soldiers of the 128th brigade were sewn using this money.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Since the beginning of the war, the forest farms of the region have provided 29 all-terrain vehicles, fuel, timber and lumber for the needs of the Armed Forces. The foresters sent clothes, sleeping bags, chainsaws, hygiene products, etc. to the servicemen’s training center. Over 300 displaced people were accommodated and provided with everything required in the forestry estates.

Over a thousand military children from all over Ukraine spent the summer in Bukovel in the Artek camp, which had to be evacuated from the Crimea to the Carpathians 8 years ago. In gratitude for the feat of the parents, volunteers of the Charity Foundation Only Together gave them such a gift.

Mayor of the city of Kalush Andrii Naida announced that the Chamber Choir Tavor and Song Theater Harmony of the Center for Artistic Creativity of Children, Youth and Youth held a charity concert in Kalush. Over UAH 14K collected will be used for the needs of the military.

Lviv oblast

Pre-medical training for civilians of the all-Ukrainian organization Ukrainian Women’s Guard took place in Lviv. The training was conducted by a traumatologist of the emergency medical hospital, a teacher and instructor of the Lviv National Medical University, a TECC instructor Denys Yefimov.

The creative teams of the Chervonohrad People’s House took part in events for the Independence Day of Ukraine in the city of Perpignan (France). During events in support of Ukraine, representatives of the city authorities of Chervonograd and Perpignan agreed on cooperation between the cities, which began as early as March 2022.

Rivne oblast

Head of the Rivne RMA Vitaliy Koval reported that in the evening, russian aggressors launched a missile attack on military infrastructure in the Sarny region. Previously without victims.

In honor of the City Day, Rivne commemorated the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, who died in the ATO/JFO and those who have been defending Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war. The ceremony of awarding the title “Honorary Citizen of the City” was also held.

1 350 km between Rivne and Zaporizhzhia NPPs. This is the virtual distance that participants of the Energodar is Ukraine cycling event will have to pass. Anyone can make a charitable contribution and ride any distance on a bicycle. The action was initiated by the Rivne NPP and is being held in support of the residents of the temporarily occupied Energodar, as well as ZNPP workers serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces.

Ternopil oblast

Residents of the village of Onyshkivtsi launched a raspberry picking marathon Gather raspberries for the AFU. The funds received from the sale of berries will be used for the needs of their fellow villagers who are fighting at the front against the russian aggressor.

Mayor of the city of Ternopil Serhii Nadal reported that at 12 Verbytskogo Street a memorial plaque was opened to Hero Ihor Melnyk, who died on May 29, 2022 near Zaporizhzhia. This was reported by the mayor Serhii Nadal.

A new star in honor of defenders of Ukraine was unveiled in Ternopil on the Alley of Stars. Heroes of Ukraine were also honored with patriotic songs at the event. There are 35 stars with the names of prominent Ternopil residents in the alley on the street Sahaidachnyy.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Liquidation of the consequences of rocket fire in Shepetivka is ongoing. On August 24, Shepetivka was attacked by enemy missiles, hitting a critical infrastructure facility. As a result, not only the enterprise that was hit by the rockets was damaged, but also neighboring buildings.

The Kherson RMA reported that the Center for supporting immigrants from Kherson oblast will be opened in Khmelnytskyi oblast.

The demand for firewood has increased significantly in the oblast. People are actively preparing for the difficult heating season caused by the war. In the first half of this year, 75K cubic meters of wood for the population were sold in Khmelnytskyi oblast – as in the whole of last year.

Chernivtsi oblast

Bukovyna rescuers conduct training on a container-type mobile training complex for gas and smoke detectors. The simulator came to Ukraine from Germany.

The Department of Education and Science of the Chernivtsi RMA reported that students of 40 schools will study remotely, as there are no shelters at these institutions.

60 participants of different age and from different oblasts of Ukraine took part in the breaking competition in the Mykolaychuk Center. Over UAH 13 collected during the competition were transferred to the needs of the Ukrainian army.

 

International support

The Pentagon will also deliver weapons to Ukraine by sea. This is due to the fact that the US has started supplying howitzers and other heavy weapons to Ukraine, which requires a constant flow of large-caliber ammunition.

Ukraine may receive 11 MiG-29 fighters from Slovakia. To this end, the Czech Republic and Poland agreed to patrol the skies above the country.

The US is preparing to expand GMLRS precision missile production to HIMARS and M270. “As we continue to provide security assistance to Ukraine, we are working with the industry to accelerate critical weapons and systems,” the Pentagon said.

IAEA formed a mission to visit the ZNPP. The delegation will be headed by Head of the IAEA Rafael Grossi. The mission included 13 more experts from different countries.

Next week, heads of foreign affairs of the EU countries will propose to terminate the agreement on simplified issuance of visas with russia, which has been in effect since 2007.
