Towards Volyn and Polissya, the situation has not changed. There remains a threat of the enemy launching missile and air strikes from the territory of the republic of belarus.
Towards Siversk, the enemy continues to hold its separate units in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts to demonstrate its presence in the area and constrain the actions of Defense Forces units.
The enemy fired civilian infrastructure in the areas of Hai, Hirsk and Zaliznyi Mist, Chernihiv oblast and Bachivsk, Stukalivka and Vilna Sloboda, Sumy oblast with barreled artillery. There was aerial reconnaissance of the border areas conducted with UAVs.
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy fired tanks, barreled and rocket artillery targeting the settlements of Bazaliivka, Chepil, Ivanivka, Korobochkine, Odnorobivka, Petrivka, Pytomnyk, Prudyanka, Slobozhanske, Tsupivka, Tsirkuny, and Velyki Prokhody. Under the blows of enemy aircraft were the areas of Specificnik, Pryshyb and Zalyman.

The enemy made an unsuccessful attempt of offensive actions near Petrivka. The invaders suffered losses and withdrew. Intensive UAV reconnaissance continues.
Towards Sloviansk, Dolyna, Dibrovne, Krasnopillia, Nova Dmytrivka and Velyka Komyshuvakha, were shelled from tanks, barreled artillery and MLRS.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine repulsed an offensive attempt by enemy units near Dolyna and Dmytrivka.
Towards Kramatorsk, the settlements Pryshyb, Spirne, Siversk and Zvanivka were shelled by the enemy. The enemy attempted to gain a foothold near Staryi Karavan. The invaders had no success and withdrew.
Towards Bakhmut, the enemy continued shelling the territories near Bakhmut, Kodema, Vesela Dolyna, and Zaitseve. Enemy aircraft hit the settlements of Kodema, Soledar, Yakovlivka and Zaitseve.
By conducting offensive and assault actions, the invaders tried to advance towards Bakhmut and Kodema. They suffered losses and retreated.
Towards Avdiivka, launching air strikes, shelling with tanks, barreled artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, the enemy tried to push back our troops, hit important military and civilian infrastructure in the areas of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Oleksandropol, Vodiane, and Zalizne.
The enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops near Pervomaiske. The invaders received a tough rebuff and withdrew.
Towards Novopavlivka, there was shelling near Novomykhailivka, Pavlivka and Yelizavetivka. The occupiers also launched airstrikes near Pavlivka, Volodymyrivka, and Vuhledar.
Towards Zaporizhzhia, near Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Olhivske, Shevchenko and Zhaliznychne, the enemy shelled the positions of our troops. The areas of the settlements of Orikhiv, Huliaipilske, Shcherbaky and Mali Shcherbaky were hit by aircraft.
Towards the South Buh, the enemy focused on maintaining their positions and firing our units. shelling from barreled, rocket-propelled artillery and tanks continued along the contact line. An airstrike was launched near Bila Krynica.
The enemy tried to conduct combat reconnaissance in the area of the settlement Blahodatne. The invaders suffered losses and withdrew. An enemy attempt to attack in the area of Tavria failed under the fire of our soldiers and the invaders retreated.
As a result of russia’s actions, for the first time in the history of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, there was a complete power outage. Minister of Health Viktor Liashko also announced the de-energization of hospitals in the temporarily occupied cities of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. Now the power system of Ukraine provides its own needs in power supply through the communication line of ZNPP – Zaporizhzhia TPP. Employees of the station conduct start-up operations to connect one of the power units to the grid. Energoatom informed that “there are currently no concerns about operation of automation and security systems.”
russia has accumulated more than 400 aircraft and about 360 combat helicopters on its borders with Ukraine, of which more than 150 are attack aircraft. The enemy shelled Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv districts and Kharkiv city. Mala Danylivka settlement, Kharkiv district was shelled most intensively. Private houses and outbuildings were damaged and several fires broke out.
Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that there was no shelling of Kharkiv last night. The invaders launched 2 rockets towards the city – the first exploded in mid-air, the second fell in the Chuhuiv district. There were no casualties. On the morning of 24 August, the Shevchenkove district was shelled. An establishment was damaged. No one was injured.
According to the Emergency Medical Centre, 2 people were hospitalized with injuries in Mala Danylivka. As a result of the shelling of the settlement, 11 residential buildings were destroyed. Three vehicles were also damaged and pets were killed.
The invaders shelled Lebiazhe village, Chuhuiv district. An enemy shell hit a residential house. A man was killed. His wife was injured and hospitalized.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, informed that russians killed three civilians in Soledar. Another person was injured.
Four multi-storey buildings in Sloviansk were damaged as a result of this morning’s shelling.
Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that russians intensified their rocket terror of cities and settlements, so the offensives were not massive as usual. However, the enemy attacked in four directions to gain a foothold. Yet, they withdrew with losses. The enemy did not stop firing barrel and rocket artillery at settlements.
The enemy launched 8 artillery and 9 mortar attacks last night. Four times the invaders attempted a tank offensive. Airstrikes were launched near three settlements.
Referring to the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, all 200K tonnes of grain harvested in Ahroton’s fields were taken out from Luhansk oblast to russia.
During the night, the enemy launched a missile attack on the territory of Kyiv oblast. Two strikes on infrastructure facilities in Vyshhorod region were reported. According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, there are no casualties among civilians. A minor damage was caused to the buildings, but there were no fires.
Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luigi Di Maio, has visited Kyiv oblast. The politician visited the town of Irpin that suffered from the occupation by russian forces. The Minister stated that Ukraine should be given all possible support to fight against russian aggression.
Former professor of one of the universities in Kyiv was served with a notice of suspicion of high treason. According to the Kyiv district prosecutor’s office, the woman had been in russia since February 2022 and had set up and coordinated a network of agents at the request of russian special services to gather information on location and movement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and territorial defense forces.
Georgia will help build a new “Friendship Kindergarten” in Bucha. According to Anatoliy Fedoruk, the Mayor of Bucha, the best architects and engineers of the country will be involved in the design, and Georgian companies will be responsible for furnishing and landscaping. It will be possible to accommodate 120 children in this new facility.

The Zhytomyr RMA and City Council signed a memorandum of partnership and cooperation with the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. Head of the RMA Vitaliy Bunechko, says that cooperation involves implementation of a project that will help internally displaced people with housing problems. It is planned to install 40 frame houses , where more than 200 people will be accommodated in Zhytomyr. Employees of the Red Cross informed that they will ensure a stable heating season, taking into account the additional load on the social infrastructure of the region due to evacuation of citizens from the East and South.
44 Zhytomyr children who lost a parent in the war were given the opportunity to spend two weeks on the Adriatic coast under the care of volunteer organizations.
There are more than 35K families of internally displaced persons in Zhytomyr oblast. This was reported by the Department of Social Protection of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration. The Call Center for temporarily evacuated persons affected by the russian aggression is still available.
According to the Zhytomyr RMA, Ukrainian sappers received new special equipment for the disposal of dangerous objects. It was handed over by the Humanitarian Headquarters together with benefactors.
The enemy continues to shell the border areas of Sumy oblast with barrel artillery and mortars. Bilopillia, Esman, Seredyna-Buda and Velyka Pysarivka territorial communities came under fire. The command of the “Sumy” OTG reported that a class on civil protection was held in the Lebedyn community. The civilian population received instructions and practical advice on how to act during artillery fire and air raids, as well as when explosive devices were detected. Theoretical knowledge was worked out in practice.
Sumy oblast has a defined 25-kilometer dangerous zone, which includes 20 territorial communities and 2 partial ones. 5 communities, being not in this zone though, are located within the limits of hostilities. As reported in the regional military administration, on the territory of these communities, the educational process will be carried out only online.
The Sumy Cadet Lyceum, which suffered significant destruction due to the enemy attacks, will be transferred to another region. The Sumy RMA reported that such a decision was made due to the threat of repeated attacks from the russian federation. However, the educational institution is not planned to be re-registered. After the end of the war, it will return to Sumy.
The Sumy RMA reported that an ambulance vehicle was handed over to the soldiers of the 63rd separate mechanized brigade. The Sumy Regional Center of Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine provided the vehicle and the necessary things to save the lives of the fighters. Also, Ukrainian defenders were trained in tactical medicine in conditions close to real ones.
The “Born Free” patriotic and artistic project for the Independence Day of Ukraine was launched in Sumy. Poems and songs about the war were heard from the stage. Games and various art locations were prepared for the young townspeople.
On the Independence Day of Ukraine, the enemy launched eight strikes on the border of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts. As reported by the “North” Operational Command, in Chernihiv oblast an alarm siren warned of an air or missile threat seven times. During this period, air defense forces were actively working. The territorial communities of Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Koriukivka came under enemy fire. Two enemy unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by the air defense.
The reconstruction of residential buildings in the micro-district of the regional center of Bobrovytsia, which was badly damaged by russian shelling, is ongoing. The Chernihiv RMA reports that volunteer organizations are working on the spot, in particular the CF Because We Can and the volunteer initiative Iron Fist Chernihiv.
Modernization of the region’s gas distribution network and preparation for the heating season are underway. Specialists of Chernihivgaz are installing new cabinet gas regulating points throughout the oblast. Over the past week, 9 such points have been installed. They will provide stable distribution of gas to 2K residents of Chernihiv oblast.
Almost 2 tons of literature written in russian were collected as part of the campaign Enemy literature for waste paper, and money for the Armed Forces in Pryluky. The Prylutka City Council reported that 1,826 kilograms of hostile literature worth UAH 5,478 were collected and sent for processing. Proceeds were transferred to the CO Artistic Paints for the purchase of a car for a military unit in Eastern Ukraine.
At an improvised checkpoint in Nizhyn in one of the microdistricts, children collected UAH 1,700 for a car for the Armed Forces. Children in embroidered jackets stand guard, and passing cars are greeted with the slogan “Glory to Ukraine!”.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing in the village of Chaplyne. The russian attack that took place the day before took the lives of 25 people, including two boys aged 6 and 11. Four children were injured, three of them in serious condition. Children have mine-explosive injuries, burns, fractures. They were playing at home when the missiles hit. The police have opened criminal proceedings regarding violations of the laws and customs of war.
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the night passed under heavy shelling. The Russian army shelled Synelnykove, Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih and Dnipro districts.
After midnight, the enemy struck the Synelnykove district for the fourth time in a day. Several buildings were destroyed in Velykomykhailivka. 8 people were injured, including 3 children. The youngest girl is only 2 years old.
The enemy fired at the Nikopol district three times from Grads and heavy artillery. 11 shells hit Nikopol and Marhanets communities. There are no casualties.
Apostolove and Shyroke communities of Kryvyi Rih region were shelled from Urahan and Smerch systems. There was power outage in the village of Koshove. Several missiles hit the Kryvyi Rih districts. Houses were destroyed. People were not injured.
The Ukrainian military shot down an enemy missile over the Dnipro district. This was announced by Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko.
Oleksandr Seleznyov from Vinnytsia created the musical composition Life Will Win using different types of weapons instead of traditional instruments. This is the first ever musical performance played on weapons only. Oleksandr used Stinger FIM-92, Javelin FGM-148, RPG 7, AK-74, cartridges and magazines for ammunition. He dedicated the music to his comrades from the BMP 11.33 group and from the 65th OMBr.
In the Bobrynets community of the Kropyvnytskyi district of Kirovohrad oblast, the campaign Getting Ready for School Together was organized. School supplies are collected for families in need, in particular for internally displaced persons. The campaign was organized by city council employees together with the police. Notebooks, pencils, backpacks and educational games are collected in a tent set up in the central part of Bobrynets.
Humanitarian aid from a number of organizations continues to flow to Poltava Oblast. The British organization the MENTOR Initiative donated medicines worth $ 175K, including pills and injections of prolonged and immediate action to treat patients with mental disorders. Medicines will be transferred to one of the medical institutions of Poltava Oblast.
In Uman, the families of the captured defenders of “Azovstal” organized a demonstration, which was supported by officials, the public organization Rodyna Heroia (Hero`s Family) and the residents of the community. Wives, parents and relatives of Ukrainian defenders peacefully marched through the city.
The enemy fired at the positions of our troops near Hulyaipilske, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shevchenkove and Olhivske. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
45 enemy strikes were registered in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Throughout the day, the occupying forces destroyed civil and critical infrastructure of the regional center, Orikhiv and Huliaipole, as well as settlements in the Zaporizhzhya district.
A 17-year-old boy was killed as a result of shelling Orikhiv, and a woman from the village of Preobrazhenka was seriously injured.
On August 24, the enemy had been shelling Zaporozhzhia for several hours. Missiles hit the city infrastructure, as well as the settlements of Komyshuvakha, Rozumivka, and Stepne.

Since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the russian army has been shelling Mykolaiv and the region almost every day. As of August 25, almost 500 civilians were killed in the region as a result of shelling. 9,852 civilian objects, 250 communal objects, including kindergartens, schools, hospitals, cultural and sports facilities, were destroyed.

Ukrainian defenders again struck the Antonivskyi bridge. Due to the damage and continuous fire control, the occupying forces are currently unable to use or repair the bridge.
Over the past two days, the police opened 27 criminal proceedings regarding war crimes committed by russian servicemen against civilians in the region. Collaborative activities, seizure of enterprises, robbery of offices and warehouses, kidnapping of people, numerous shelling of populated areas – these are the current realities of life in Kherson oblast.
The russians do not stop shelling civilian objects. The villages of Oleksandrivka, Osokorivka, Olhyne, Nova Zoria, Trudoliubivka, Mykolaivka, Kniazivka, Ivanivka, Karierne and Bila Krynytsia were under fire. The police exposed a female collaborator in Chornobaiivka. The woman voluntarily got a job at the propaganda TV channel created by the occupiers in Kherson. The channel distributes materials supporting the occupation of Kherson oblast, discrediting the Armed Forces and the political leadership of Ukraine.
Electricity and water supply have disappeared in the temporarily occupied Kherson and the region. Communication has disappeared in most of the territory. The russian mass media announced a “large-scale accident” that “will take up to 2 days” to eliminate. According to Ihor Safronov, the head of the board of Khersonoblenergo, the occupiers cut off electricity at 12:10 p.m. throughout all Kherson oblast.
The Lutsk City Council has submitted an application for participation in the USAID project, which will provide an opportunity to obtain a large number of tents, diesel generators, electric heaters, stoves, mobile modular boiler rooms, field kitchens and much more. Mayor Ihor Polishchuk says that all this can come in handy during the heating season.
The city council reported that 59% of parents from the Lutsk city-territorial community were in favor of learning in an offline format.

On the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine Anatoly Boiko from the city of Volodymyr presented a new work made of eggshells, which was added to the collection of works on military themes.
Classes were held in Lutsk libraries as part of the Singing Action for Children project. It is a safe space where children receive psycho-emotional support through a program of informal education – creative activities, mobile and cognitive activities, interaction with other children and adults.
On the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, the Day of the State Flag and within the framework of the art project We are from Ukraine, a presentation of the art installation United Ukraine took place on the Teatralny Maidan in Lutsk. Children who came to the city due to war, as forcibly displaced persons, took part in its creation.
The Zakarpattia RMA signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Charitable Foundation Project Hope and the Dubrynytsia-Malobereznya community. Within the framework of the memorandum, a building is being reconstructed on the territory of the community, which will later be able to accommodate up to 150 forcibly displaced persons.
The RMA reported that Zakarpattia oblast will take part in the pilot project of the Ministry of Justice on the online registration of real property rights.
The Uzhhorod City Council held a meeting of the Coordinating Council on issues of family, gender equality, demographic development, prevention and countermeasures against domestic violence and human trafficking. They discussed Ukraine’s ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on the prevention of violence against women and domestic violence and the fight against these phenomena, better known as the Istanbul Convention.

The Lviv District Administration and the Ukrainian Angels Foundation sent 12 carts for patients to the rehabilitation center Halychyna.
The delegation from Lviv oblast is visiting the Republic of France at the invitation of Alliance Occitanie Ukraine. The purpose of the visit is to express gratitude for the help to the Ukrainians and establish contacts for future cooperation
Representatives of the Israeli organization One Heart, whose volunteers are now actively helping Ukrainians, visited Lviv. During the meeting with Mayor Andrii Sadovy, they discussed the current situation in the city and the country, as well as further cooperation.
The “I – Mariupol” support center for displaced people in Lviv opened an exhibition of photos of how Mariupol celebrated the Flag Day and the Independence Day of Ukraine last year. The RMA reported that Rivne oblast is one of the leaders in the number of defenders in the ranks of the Armed Forces.
In Rivne oblast, gas consumption continues to be reduced. According to the results of 2021, the oblast is among the leaders in the field of energy saving. This year, the plan is to reduce fuel consumption by another 10%.

The RMA reported that over 1.5 million tons of grain crops were harvested in Ternopil oblast, which is about 67% of the total amount.
