It has been the 179th day of Ukraine’s resistance to the russian military invasion. 

Ukraine briefly:

Here is operational information as of 6pm:

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the situation has not changed. 

Towards Siversk, the enemy rotates individual units in the border areas of Briansk and Kursk oblasts.

The enemy shelled  the settlements of Muravi and Zaliznyi Most of Chernihiv oblast and Budky and Iskryskivshchyna of Sumy oblast with barreled artillery. 

According to available information, the enemy is closing certain areas of airspace in Lipetsk, Voronezh and Belgorod oblasts from August 22 to August 25 this year.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy fired from tanks, barreled and rocket artillery at the areas of the settlements of Korobochkine, Nove, Prudianka, Peremoha, Rus’ki Tyshky, Staryi Saltiv, Slobozhanske and Velyki Prokhody. The invaders launched airstrikes near Husarivka and Stary Saltiv.

Towards Sloviansk, near Krasnopillia, Chervone and Dolyna, artillery shelling was recorded. The enemy is replenishing ammunition stocks.

Combat reconnaissance was conducted near Petropillia – Dmytrivka, Pasika – Bohorodychne. The invaders had no success and withdrew.

The invaders tried to conduct assault and offensive operations towards Brazhkivka – Nova Dmytrivka, Dovhenke – Dolyna, Sulyhivka – Dibrovne and Petropillia – Karnaukhivka. The enemy suffered losses and retreated. 

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy continued shelling near Mykolaivka, Siversk, Spirne and Ivano-Dariivka.

Towards Bakhmut, multi-caliber artillery was used near Bakhmut, Kodema, Vesela Dolyna and Yakovlivka, while aviation operated near Bakhmut, Soledar and Zaitseve.

The enemy fought offensive battles towards Pokrovske – Bakhmutske, Semyhiria – Zaitseve, Novoselivka – Niu York. The invaders received a tough rebuff and retreated.

Towards Avdiivka, the settlements of Avdiivka, Marinka and Pisky, were shelled with barreled and rocket artillery. 

The enemy launched airstrikes near Marinka, Vodiane and Krasnohorivka. An unsuccessful attempt to conduct reconnaissance towards Spartak – Opytne failed.

By conducting offensive and assault actions, the enemy tried to gain a foothold towards Novoselivka Druha – Krasnohorivka, Vesele – Pisky, Oleksandrivka – Marinka. Suffering losses, the enemy retreated. 

Towards Lozovsky – Pisky, enemy units have partial success.

Towards Novopavlivka, in the areas of Pavlivka, Prechystivka, Velyka Novoselka, and Vuhledar, there was shelling. He used aircraft to strike near Novomykhailivka. The enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to attack Luhansk – Pobeda.

Towards Zaporizhzhia, there was shelling from barreled and rocket artillery near Burlatske, Huliaipole, Novopol,  and Orikhiv. Airstrikes were carried out to target Chervone, Huliaipole, and Novosilka.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy used available means of fire damage to shell military and civilian objects along the contact line. Airstrikes were launched near Olhyne, Lozove, Novohryhorivka and Tavria.

By offensive actions, invaders tried to advance towards Oleksandrivka – Tavriiske, yet failed and withdrew. Near Vasylka – Blahodatne, they had partial success.

Five carriers of sea-based cruise missiles are in combat readiness to use high-precision weapons, so air alarms should not be ignored.


Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian railway) asks to postpone trips to Kharkiv for security reasons and due to tightening the curfew from 19:00 on August 23 to 07:00 on August 25. Also, suburban and regional flights to/from Kharkiv on Independence Day will be canceled, and long-distance trains will provide critical transportation in the region. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia in Telegram.

Continuous shelling of the Zaporizhzhia NPP by russian troops from the MLRS causes a serious risk to the safe operation of the station. As of August 21, the ZNPP operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety standards. On August 5, one of the power units was disconnected because of the attack by the russian military. On August 6, three radiation monitoring sensors were damaged, and on August 20, the actions of the occupiers damaged the overpass by which the personnel could enter the power units. Due to the fact that the actions of the invaders cannot be predicted, there remains a threat to the physical security of the station. 

In the national telethon on August 21, First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department Oleksii Biloshytsky urged to observe air alarm conditions and be sure to hide in shelters during the holidays on August 23-25. Citizens were also urged to know in advance about the location of shelters when planning their routes of movement.


Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast 

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian troops thwarted 4 attempts to advance in Izium district. Russian troops shelled at least ten settlements in the region with artillery and aviation.

The invaders tried to launch an offensive towards Brazhkivka – Nova Dmytrivka and Silyhivka – Nova Dmytrivka. They withdrew with losses under our defenders’ fire. The enemy is constantly shelling with aviation, artillery and tanks. In Izium, the enemy tried to conduct a reconnaissance battle toward Pasika – Bohorodychne but failed.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office informed that the enemy was terrorizing civilians of Kharkiv oblast with shellings. Bohodukhiv, Izium, Kharkiv districts and Kharkiv city were under fire. Private buildings and outbuildings were damaged, garages and office buildings were on fire. During the shelling of Slatyne, one woman was killed. 

Search operations continue where a rocket hit a three-storey residential building in the Saltiv district on August 18. The bodies of three more victims were found. The total number of victims of the strike makes 18 people.

Missiles were launched from Belgorod around midnight. In Rohan settlement, the Kharkiv district, one missile hit an unfinished private house and two fires broke out. Two people – a man and a woman – were injured.

Two rockets hit Dokuchaievske settlement, the Kharkiv district. The outbuildings of an educational institution were damaged. There was a fire in an open area. There were no casualties.

A Relive initiative was launched in Kharkiv to turn abandoned basements into shelters. The project aims to prepare enough basements for 100 K people to hide there safely.

Donetsk oblast

Ukrainian fighters repulsed 13 attacks by the russian military. In proximity of six settlements, the enemies used aviation. Fighting continues in two more areas.

The Ukrainian Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that towards Donetsk, the Ukrainian military destroyed two tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, a car with ammunition, and a self-propelled Hiatsint-S howitzer. There are also dead and wounded among russian occupiers

Based on the information provided by Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, the occupiers continue shelling the settlements of Donetsk oblast. Four civilians were killed as a result of shelling in Heorhiivka, Avdiivka and Praskoviivka. Another 2 people were injured.

The Avdiivka Military Administration denies the statement of Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov about the seizure of Pisky. Its head, Vitalii Barabash, adds that the territory of the settlement is partially controlled by the russian invaders, and partially – by the Ukrainian military.

Educators of Lysychansk launched a patriotic online action dedicated to Ukraine’s Independence Day by organizing the All-Ukrainian Chain of Unity. It included recording a video with an appeal to a friend from any city of Ukraine, memories of this city or words of support. Participants had to post the video  with the hashtag “All-Ukrainian Chain of Unity” on their page or in a group. So far, more than 60 videos have accumulated. The organizers decided to make the action indefinite.

Luhansk oblast

Our fighters repulsed 13 attacks by russian invaders. In proximity to six settlements, the enemy used aircraft. Seven times during the night, the enemy’s barreled and reactive artillery tried to oust the Ukrainian military out of protective redoubts. 

The invaders shelled the settlements with missiles and tanks twice. The enemy attacked from different sides, sometimes twice a day, but everywhere was forced to retreat. Fighting continues in two more areas.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reported that the occupiers had mobilized 430 workers from the Dovzhanska-Kapitalna underground mine. The men who went to the front are replaced by women and pensioners. In small towns of the occupied Luhansk region, where there are almost no men left, the invaders pay 60 K rubles to people who provide information about the whereabouts of men to find and mobilize them.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

Peaceful gatherings, rallies and other mass events involving large crowds were prohibited in Kyiv by the official order which was signed by the head of the city military administration, Mykola Zhyrnov. The decision was reportedly made to be able to respond in a timely manner to threats of missile and bomb attacks by the russians during Ukraine’s National Flag Day and Independence Day celebrations.

Since the beginning of the war, Kyiv police have helped evacuate more than 100K people. According to the National Police of the oblast, this was made possible by joint efforts of law enforcement, military, rescue teams, and the local government. It is also stated in the report that the law enforcers had effectively applied all necessary measures to providing counter actions against sabotage and reconnaissance groups, as well as collaborators. They continue to stand with dignity to ensure law-and-order security.

According to Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Oleksii Kuleba, the registration of crime activity committed by the invaders on our soil continues in Kyiv oblast. This work is also being carried out by the Maidan Museum team. The team collects items that prove the presence of the russians in the area. These items will be used as evidence and then will be taken to a museum.

The opening of the Together We are Europe mobile exhibition took place in Kyiv under the Arch of Freedom of the Ukrainian people. The exhibition features artworks created by Ukrainian illustrators reflecting an artist’s view on the war in all its manifestations. This event is the beginning of a series of online events intended to demonstrate the EU’s support for Ukraine.

The city executive committee informs that renaming of 36 streets has been approved in the Rzhyshchiv territorial community. For example, the streets bearing the names of the writers Alexander Pushkin, Mikhail Lermontov, Vladimir Mayakovskyi, Leo Tolstoy, and Anton Chekhov have been renamed in the community.

Three Vcentri HUB public spaces have joined in providing comprehensive counselling to internally displaced people in Kyiv. These people can get free counselling in all areas of the city. Since 24 February, more than 470 events have taken place in city hubs, 25% of which were dedicated specifically for internally displaced people.

The Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Drama Theatre will stage a play based on the autobiographical book “Life P.S.” by Valeria Burlakova, a veteran of the war in the East of Ukraine. A play about a love story at war will be performed by the Lviv Zankovetska Theatre team. 

The longest patriotic mural has been completed in Osokorky, Kyiv. The Call of the Kin mural has been in production for almost two months. On August 23, it will be registered in the Ukrainian Book of Records as the longest mural.

Zhytomyr oblast

In Zhytomyr, relatives and friends of Azovstal defenders took part in the event to support the military personnel. The participants appealed to international organizations to help free the prisoners of war. According to Veronika Moroz, co-organiser of the event, people are coming to the meetings to raise awareness of the whole community and find a way to bring our heroes back home.

459 facilities damaged by the russian shelling have been repaired in Zhytomyr oblast, says Head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Bunechko. In the past two weeks, 121 facilities have been restored, namely private and multi-storey houses, cultural institutions and other social buildings. In total, reconstruction of 459 facilities has already been completed.

According to the Regional Military Administration, 16 facilities have been repaired this week. Almost a thousand square meters of double-glazed windows were installed in the Road and Motorway Vocational College damaged by the blast. Renovation continues at the Dynamo sports complex and kindergarten no.32 in Zhytomyr.

Planned demining and clearance activity continues in the settlements of Mala Zubivshchina and Vaskovychi of Korosten and Naroditska communities, which were occupied by the russian occupation army at the beginning of April.

Preparation of a ceremonial dish Krupky as an element of Ukraine’s intangible cultural heritage was demonstrated in Zhytomyr. According to the Regional Military Administration, the workshop was conducted by the folk group Zatyshok from Mostove village, accompanied by their own renditions of folk songs. During the event, there was an exhibition where tourist attractions of the Andrushevsk community were presented, as well as a charity auction to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Sumy oblast

The SBGS reported that the enemy inflicted fire damage from rocket and barrel artillery, mortars, and large-caliber small arms. The enemy shelled the territories of Buryn, Bilopillia, Khotyn and Znob-Novhorodske communities. In total, more than fifty explosions were recorded.

A group was created on the issues of de-russification and getting rid of the consequences of the colonial past in Sumy oblast. The group is working on creating a thorough list of objects that need to be renamed, dismantled or updated. Head of the Sumy RMA, Dmytro Zhivytskyi says that the names of settlements, streets, monuments and everything that has at least a hint of russianness and sovietism should be changed and cleaned.

The campaign Their Own for Their Own was launched in Sumy oblast to support the local producer. The organizers of the action are the Sumy Regional Association of Employers’ Organizations in cooperation with the “Kyiv” Shopping Center and the Sumy RMA. All interested parties have the opportunity to sell goods, services, and agricultural products in free spaces of the shopping center. The promotion will last until mid-October.

Chernihiv oblast

The State Border Service of Ukraine reported that the enemy shelled two communities of Chernihiv oblast. Three 120 mm caliber mines exploded on the territory of the Semenivka community. The Novhorod-Siverskyi community was shelled by the enemy from barrel artillery, four explosions were recorded.

The Chernihiv RMA informed that no additional measures are taken to restrict entry or exit from the regional center on holidays. Citizens are informed about relevant decisions in advance on official resources. The military administration warns residents against consuming and spreading false information.

A free store for low-income families, large families, pensioners and forced migrants has opened in Mena. According to the store owner, the idea was born a long time ago, but the beginning of a full-scale war accelerated the opening of the store. The store offers a wide range of products for those who need help, from food to clothing and household appliances.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Dnipropetrovsk oblast was under enemy fire all night long. Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts suffered from the enemy attacks.

The Russians fired 25 shells from barrel artillery at Nikopol. As a result of the shelling, a severe fire broke out at the enterprise, the fire destroyed the equipment. In the city, a school was mutilated, one house was destroyed, and almost two dozen buildings were damaged. Gas furnaces and power lines are out of order. More than 3K Nikopol citizens were without electricity. People were not injured.

The Marhanets community was shelled three times from barrel artillery and Grads. Fortunately, there were no casualties. In the city, a high-voltage line was damaged – more than 2,200 homes were cut off.

There were 10 shots from barrel artillery in the Myrove community. 5 houses were destroyed.

In the afternoon, the occupiers hit the Zelenodolsk community in the Kryvyi Rih district from Urahans. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council Mykola Lukashuk in his Telegram channel. As a result of the shelling, six people were injured, a child among them. There is damage to residential buildings and a kindergarten building. 

Vinnytsia oblast

In Vinnytsia, a car race was organized in the memory of the victims of the missile attack on the city on July, 14 . The participants laid flowers and released balloons into the sky at the scene of the tragedy.

Kirovohrad oblast

Oleksandr Nakonechnyi, Head of the regional department of the Security Service of Ukraine, was found dead in Kirovohrad Oblast. The SSU and the State Bureau of Investigation are currently investigating the circumstances of the death. Oleksandr Nakonechnyi held the position of Head of the SSU of the Kirovohrad Oblast since the beginning of 2021.

Poltava oblast

Kharkiv artist Andrii Yankov is finishing painting the facade of the Poltava Lyceum. Andrii and his family moved to Poltava from Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, in the beginning of April. Volunteers helped them to settle in the lyceum. In the lobby of the educational institution, Andrii created more than 20 drawings on the walls. The artist plans to paint the walls of the lobby on one floor of the lyceum. He dreams to return to street art in Kharkiv.

Dmytro Lunin, Head of the Regional Military Administration, says that more than 250 medics from regions where hostilities are ongoing have been employed in medical institutions of Poltava Oblast since the start of the full-scale invasion. In particular, seven medical workers work in the Lubensk intensive care hospital.

Cherkasy oblast

Cherkasy gymnast Illia Kovtun is in the top 5 of the free exercise finals at the 2022 European Championship. This is his personal record in this type of Euro and Ukraine’s best result in two years. The Ukrainian sportsman made it to two separate finals: in free exercises and parallel bars.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The situation towards Zaporizhzhia has not changed significantly. The enemy carried out shellings of Ukrainian defenders’ positions using tank gunnery, artillery, and MLRS along the entire contact line.

The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Preobrazhenka and Orikhiv.

There were 16 reports of the destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by the russian occupation forces.

According to Ukrainian Intelligence, the “weekend”  has been extended for the Ukrainian personnel at the ZNPP. Unlike the previous order, now it also applies to operatives on duty. Some of the representatives of Rosatom have returned to the station. Also, the russian military and a large number of weapons and ammunition remain at the ZNPP. 

The Zaporizhzhia NPP operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety regulations. This was reported by Energoatom. On August 20, one of the transitional galleries, through which the personnel go from special buildings to the power units, was damaged by enemy fire.

A two-hour silent rally was organized in Zaporizhzhia in support of war prisoners, in particular, the defenders of Mariupol and “Azov” under the name “Bring back our heroes alive!”.

During the day a total of 1,036 people, including 324 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory.

Mykolaiv oblast

Towards Mykolaiv, russian troops are conducting an offensive in the direction of Vasylky — Blahodatne. The army of the russian federation has partial success, the hostilities continue.

At night, the enemy hit several districts of Mykolaiv with S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems. Objects of industrial and military infrastructure were hit. No human losses are reported.

Shyroke village in the Bashtanka district was also shelled.

Mykolaiv, Voznesensk and the villages of Liubomyrivka, Zoria, Chervona Dolyna, Shyroke, Yakovlivka were under enemy fire during the past day. Four multi-apartment and nine private buildings, administrative premises, cars and other structures were damaged. 14 civilians, including 3 children, were injured.

Fourteen civilians, including children, were wounded as a result of a missile attack on Voznesensk. All the victims have moderate and severe injuries.

Odesa oblast

At night, the enemy fired 5 Kalibr missiles at Odesa oblast. Two missiles were shot down over the sea by anti-aircraft defense forces, 3 more hit one of the agricultural enterprises in the Odesa district. The granary was damaged. There are no casualties.

The enemy fleet in the Black Sea has been increased to 2 large amphibious ships and 5 missile carriers with more than 30 Kalibr-type missiles.

Another sea mine, which broke off from its mounting, drifted to the Odesa coast after the storm. During the day, 2 sea mines were neutralized.

Four more vessels with Ukrainian agricultural products left the ports of Odesa oblast along the “grain corridor”. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Turkey.

Kherson oblast

The enemy, by means of a motorized rifle platoon, supported by two BMP-2s, carried out assaults towards Potiomkino. The enemy had no success and retreated with losses.

The enemy continues shelling populated areas in the rear.

The Ukrainian aviation launched 5 airstrikes on the enemy buildup of manpower, weapons and equipment.

Missile and artillery units carried out more than 230 fire missions. As a result the command post of the 247th Airborne Assault Regiment of the 7th Airborne Assault Division was hit, and enemy ammunition depots in Chornobaiivka and Staritsy were destroyed.

Enemy troops were reduced by 75 invaders, a Hiatsynt-S self-propelled gun, 2 enemy T-72 tanks and 6 more units of armored vehicles. The final losses of the enemy are being clarified.

Units of the South Air Command discovered and destroyed three unmanned aerial vehicles of the operational-tactical level (probably Orlan-10), which the enemy used to conduct aerial reconnaissance and adjust artillery fire.

The occupying “authority” organized a celebration of the russian flag day in Kherson. They brought in performers who had already lost their popularity, and tried to hand out tricolors on a stick to passers-by. Most locals politely refused.

Western regions

Volyn

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that towards Volyn and Polissia, russia is bringing its air defense systems  on the territory of belarus.

Representatives of Tellus Reserve from England visited the National Park in Volyn. This organization works with governments and organizations and identifies areas where biodiversity needs financial and technical support.

A unique international project Linking Generations was launched in the Turiia region in memory of the UPA soldiers, 100 viburnum bushes and four oaks, symbolizing the sides of the world, were planted. A memorial sign with a message to posterity was erected near the spring. The action started in Volyn will be continued in Kyiv, and then abroad – in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Georgia, Bulgaria and France.

Zakarpattia oblast

In Zakarpattia, scientists have proposed a new way of treating wounded soldiers thanks to the Vitalizer device. It creates special electromagnetic conditions in the premises around the device. These conditions are close to tropical, this contributing to improved well-being, good capillary blood circulation, and, accordingly, accelerated wound healing. So far, several devices have been handed over to military medics at Mukachevo Hospital.

Head of the charitable organization Carpathian Art Fund Ihor Ivankiv together with artists from different regions of Ukraine presented a unique charitable art project Painted Sky. The exhibition features 70 paintings made on wooden boards, which used to be fragments of the roof of the 16th-century Strukiv church in Yasiny, Zakarpattia.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

As of today, the level of preparation for the heating season of housing and communal enterprises is from 60% to 75%. This was discussed during the meeting of the Advisory Council on Local Self-Government, which was attended by Head of the regional military administration, Svitlana Onyshku.

Ivano-Frankivsk will receive over 2 million euros for the construction of homes for forcibly displaced families. This is a grant from the Northern Environmental Finance Corporation (NEFCO) and the EU, for which they plan to carry out the reconstruction of two dormitories – the Technical University of Oil and Gas and the Lyceum named after Vyacheslav Chornovol.

In the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Museum of the Liberation Struggle named after Stepan Bandera, for the first time, costumed excursions were held to raise funds for the Armed Forces. The assistance will be sent to the units in which the museum employees currently serve.

Lviv oblast

Next week, free training sessions for entrepreneurs and those planning to start their own business will be held at the city’s Entrepreneurship Support Center.

Five-year-old Maria, who moved with her family from Kryvyi Rih to Lviv Oblast due to the military actions of the russian federation, entered the National Register of Records as the youngest volunteer, who collected UAH 35 492 for the needs of the Armed Forces with her performance. The girl, accompanied by her older brother Oleksandr, performed Ukrainian songs in the center of Lviv for 9 hours and 54 minutes.

Rivne oblast

The RMA reported that Polish benefactors sent a STAR P244 car to the rescue brigade of Rivne oblast. It accommodates 6 people, and the capacity of the water tank is 2 700 liters.

The RMA reported that American firefighters sent 50 sets of chemical protection, 200 fire uniforms, helmets and shoes to the rescue brigade of Rivne oblast.

Ternopil oblast

The exhibition Photo Drying for the Armed Forces collected over UAH 6K for the Armed Forces. This year the festival events took place for the first time outside the city and covered several regions – Ternopil, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Sumy.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

In one week, almost 300K kg of humanitarian aid from Poland, Turkey, Germany and Italy arrived in Khmelnytskyi oblast.

The Khmelnytskyi RMA, together with charitable organizations, sent 2 all-terrain vehicles, medicines and technical equipment to the Armed Forces.

Chernivtsi oblast

The International Solidarity Fund will donate defibrillators, electric generators, medicines and hygiene products to Chernivtsi as charitable aid. The total cost of assistance is almost UAH 2.5 million.

On the eve of Ukraine’s Independence Day, a charity bike ride Fire Way to the Victory of Ukraine was held in Chernivtsi, organized by the Regional State Emergency Service to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Over 240 participants took part in it. The collected UAH 48 500 will be spent on purchasing a drone for the Armed Forces.

International support

Germany will transfer twenty 70-mm rocket launchers on a buggy basis to Ukraine. 70-mm APKWS missiles for them will be received by the Armed Forces from the US.

Australia will transfer  300 attack drones capable of striking with thermobaric munitions to Ukraine. Such a decision was made by the Australian authorities after an acute shortage of drones was announced in Kyiv.

A group of Ukrainian pilots is undergoing training in the US. Military personnel are trained on A-10 attack aircraft.

The director of development of the information and consulting company Defense Express Valery Ryabikh states that 800 companies from the US offer over 1.5K samples of weapons and military equipment to Ukraine as part of lend-lease.

Deputy Minister of Finance of Turkey Yunus Elitash states that Turkey undertakes to implement the sanctions imposed by the US, the European Union and other countries against the russian federation in connection with the war in Ukraine.

In Latvia, over 530K euros were collected for the Armed Forces. The fundraising campaign started on August 16 and 15K people took part in it.

In Germany, MPs Christian Klink (SPD), Sara Nanni (Union 90/Greens) and Alexander Müller (FDP) declared the importance of supporting Ukraine, which is fighting not only for its own freedom, but also for the values ​​of Europe.

The Prime Ministers of the Czech Republic, Andriy Babis, and Slovakia, Eduard Heger, released a joint video message on the occasion of the Prague Spring in 1968, in which they called for continued support for Ukraine during the russian aggression.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria was outraged by the call of the permanent representative of russia to international organizations in Vienna Mykhailo Ulianov not to spare Ukrainians and summoned him for a conversation.

The President of Estonia, Alar Karis, personally joined the assistance of the Armed Forces. Alar Karis, wearing a T-shirt from Volodymyr Zelenskyy, wove a camouflage net for the Armed Forces.

The Vilnius City Council decided to dismantle the monument to Soviet soldiers at the Antakalnis Cemetery. The reason is the military aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine.

The President of Krakow, Jacek Maichrovsky, met with Ukrainian video bloggers, participants of the “Act for Ukraine” action, Maksym Uzol, Olea Manko, and Serhii Volkov. The meeting discussed the establishment of cooperation in support of Ukraine. The purpose of the Act for Ukraine initiative is to support the Ukrainian military and spread information about Ukraine in the world.

A march in support of Ukraine, organized by the Association of Ukrainians in France, took place on the main streets of Paris. The participants of the action demanded arms for Ukraine, recognition of russia as a terrorist state and strengthening of sanctions against it.
