Here is operational information on the russian invasion as of 6pm:

Towards Volyn and Polissya, the situation has not changed. According to the information available, on August 11, the system of combat control and notification of the armed forces of the republic of belarus was checked.

Towards Siversk, the enemy continues to hold units in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions to constrain the actions of units of the Defense Forces. The invaders also fired artillery near Oleksandrivka in Chernihiv oblast and Atynske, Bilopillia, Yurieve and Yastrubyne in Sumy oblast.

The rotation of the units of the Armed Forces of the russian federation performing tasks in the bordering areas of Kursk and Belhorod oblasts continues.  

Towards Kharkiv, the occupier fired tanks, barreled and rocket artillery in the areas of  Chepil, Cherkaski Tyshky, Cherniaky, Dementiivka, Husarivka, Ivanivka, Korobochkine, Kutuzivka, Lebiazhe, Lisne, Mospanove, Nove, Odnorobivka, Prudianka, Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova, Rus’ki Tyshky, Petrivka, Shestakove, Slatyne, Staryi Saltiv, Slobozhanske, Tsirkuny, and Udy.

The enemy also used assault and army aircraft to strike near Bairak, Rtyshchivka, Ukrainka and Verkhniy Saltiv.

Towards Sloviansk, near Bohorodychne, Dmytrivka, Dibrovne, Dolyna, Krasnopillia, Mazanivka, Nortsivka, Ridne, Protopopivka, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Virnopillya. The invaders fired on the positions of the Defense Forces. They launched airstrikes near Zalyman.

The enemy tried to conduct an offensive towards Pasika – Bohorodychne and Tykhotske – Dolyna. They were rebuffed and fled.

Towards Kramatorsk, there was shelling near Hryhorivka, Siversk, Raihorodka, Verkhnokamianske, and Zvanivka.

The enemy’s attempt to conduct reconnaissance towards Bilohorivka – Hryhorivka failed.

Towards Bakhmut, the enemy used tanks and multi-caliber artillery to shell Bakhmut, Ivano-Darivka, Kodema, Spirne,  Soledar, Vasiukivka, Vershyna, Vyimka, Yakovlivka, and Zaitsevo. The enemy launched the airstrikes near Vyimka, Ivano-Darievka, Disputed, Yakovlivka, Soledar and Bakhmut.

The invaders tried to conduct reconnaissance near Spirne. The Ukrainian military inflicted fire damage and liquidated the enemy.

Towards the settlements of Ivano-Darivka, Kodema, Spirne, Vyimka, Yakovlivka, Vershyna and Zaitseve, the occupiers tried to break through the defense of our units and advance. They suffered losses and randomly withdrew. Fighting continues to rage in some areas.

Towards Pokrovske – Bakhmut, the enemy had a partial success trying to gain a foothold.

Artillery shelling continued towards Avdiivka near Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Netailove, Novobakhmutivka, Pisky, and Vodiane. The enemy launched airstrikes near Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, and Vodiane.

All enemy attempts of assault towards Marinka, Pisky, Spartak were suppressed by our defenders. The invaders were thrown back to their previous positions.

The enemy fired towards Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, near Bilohiria, Huliaipole, Kamianske, Novomykhailivka, Novoyakovlivka, Novopol, Novoselka,  Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Novoselka, Preobrazhenka, Shevchenko, Velyka Volodymyrivka, Vremivka, Vuhledar, and Zelene Pole. Enemy aviation operated near Novomykhailivka and Vuhledar.

The invaders were advancing towards Yehorivka – Pavlivka. They were halted and thrown back.

Towards the South Buh, the invaders shelled our troops’ positions from tanks, barreled and rocket artillery along the contact line. They launched airstrikes to target Andriivka, Blahodatne, Bruskynske, Lozove, Myrne, Novohryhorivka, Osokorivka and Velike Artakove.

The enemy is trying to restore combat capability of units suffering losses during hostilities in this direction. 

In the Black and Azov Seas, two carriers of sea-based cruise missiles are in combat readiness.

The toll of russian casualties is growing. The invaders’ command expands the practice of postponing rotations of advanced units for an indefinite period without their additional staffing. It significantly affects the morale and psychological state of russian servicemen and the so-called volunteers. Their motivation to participate in hostilities is deteriorating.


President Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted to the Verkhovna Rada bills on extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. The Head of State proposes to extend martial law for 90 days, starting from 05:30 am on August 23, 2022. Thus, martial law will be valid until at least November 20.

Ukrainian authorities call on world leaders and international organizations to prevent the illegal trial of Ukrainian defenders in Mariupol and visit prisoners in Olenivka. The occupiers are preparing premises of the city philharmonic for the pseudo-tribunal. The Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine released a joint statement on the captured defenders of Mariupol. “We call on the entire civilized world to prevent the trial announced by the executioners in Mariupol over the Ukrainian Defenders. We demand to immediately send representatives of the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross to the places where Ukrainian prisoners of war are held, first of all, Olenivka,” the statement said.

The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy is developing a bill on a special status of English in Ukraine as the language of international communication. The ministry says that the draft law provides for a significant expansion of the scope of English in Ukraine. English will also become mandatory in certain public areas where international communications are available. Currently, an interdepartmental working group is being created to prepare legislative acts ensuring the functioning of English as a language of international communication.


Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in Kharkiv oblast, the invaders launched air strikes near Rtyshchivka, Verkhnii Saltiv and Zalyman. The enemy troops tried to launch the offensive battles towards Bohorodychne in Donetsk oblast, Dolyna in Sloviansk district, Pasika, Tikhotske in Izium district. The Armed Forces of Ukraine retaliated against the invaders, who later retreated.

Last night, russians launched air strikes on Kharkiv. Four missiles were fired from Belgorod at once. Two struck an educational institution in Sloboda district. A canteen and vegetable warehouses were damaged.

A rocket hit a road surface next to an administration building in Nova Bavariia district. Fragments damaged the facade. There was another rocket hit in Kyiv district. There were no casualties.

There were invaders’ strikes were also recorded in Tsyrkuny village and between Tsyrkuny and Cherkaski Tyshky, Kharkiv district. The consequences are being established.

The invaders shelled Chuhuiv, Izium, Kharkiv and Lozova districts. According to emergency medical services, civilians in Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv and Kupiansk districts were injured. Two people were injured in Tsyrkuny. In Kupiansk district, a tractor driver tripped on a mine and blew himself up. His condition is medium. In Zolochiv community, a man was injured and a woman killed. As a result of the shelling of Baranivka village, Zolochiv community – a woman was killed and a man injured. The invaders shelled Zolochiv – a teenager and a woman were injured.

Our air defence forces shot down 2 Kalibr missiles launched by russians from the Caspian Sea over Kharkiv oblast.

Donetsk oblast

Ukrainian defenders retaliated against the invaders in Sloviansk direction. They tried to advance towards Pasika – Bohorodychne and Tykhotske – Dolyna. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an offensive near several settlements in Bakhmut direction and forced the enemy to retreat. The enemy has partial success in Horlivka – Zaitseve and Pokrovske – Bakhmut directions and is trying to gain a foothold.

The invaders shelled settlements in Donetsk oblast 37 times. Residential areas and the Avdiivka Coke plant were under fire.

Head of Kramatorsk City Military Administration, Honcharenko, informed that the enemy launched 11 rocket attacks on Kramatorsk. As a result, 2 civilians were killed and 13 injured. At least 20 houses were damaged and a fire broke out in the private sector.

Mariupol mayor’s councillor, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that in occupied Mariupol, russian invaders continue to prepare the Chamber Philharmonic building for holding a “tribunal” of Ukrainian prisoners of war.

Rescuers in Kurakhove rescued two women from the rubble of residential buildings destroyed by invaders’ shelling and removed two dead bodies.

Luhansk oblast

The enemy launched a rocket attack overnight, shelled 7 times with barrel and rocket artillery, and twice involved tank units in the assault twice. Russians attacked eight times from the air. From different sides, they tried to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near 14 settlements, for the second time they attacked Verkhnokamianske, but again retreated to previously occupied positions.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, said that the invaders are constantly assaulting the outskirts of Luhansk oblast. But 2 villages are still holding on.

Luhansk Regional Military Administration approved a new procedure for leaving the temporarily occupied territory via Zaporizhzhia oblast. The changes are valid from August 12.

According to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, in occupied Starobilsk, the unknown people blew up the car of a collaborator who held the position of the so-called “head of the Interdistrict Registration-Examination Office”.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

Given the martial law, Kyiv continues to prepare for the heating season on a fast-track basis. Mayor Vitaliy Klytchko said that the municipal services have carried out hydraulic tests of heating networks and replaced almost 20 km of the most damaged sections. This year, the city used the loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the full-scale modernization of Kyiv heating system, and actively implemented energy-saving technologies.

Rescuers of Kyiv oblast will take part in the pilot project “Safety Specialist in the Educational Environment”. The relevant memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Pirnivsk village territorial community, the Department of Education and Science of the Kyiv RMA, the Main Department of the National Police of the region and the State Emergency Service. The aim of the project is prevention, early detection, termination and elimination of negative phenomena and their harmful effects on children’s safety.

Volunteer units of the Bucha territorial community discovered the body of another civilian killed by russians. According to the preliminary information, the body belongs to a Kyiv resident born in 1964, shot by the russian military during the temporary occupation of this part of Kyiv oblast. According to the Bucha town council, the victim’s daughter was kidnapped and taken to the territory of belarus on February 28.

There are plans to build bus stops in the capital where one can safely shelter during the air raid alarm. The Kyiv City Council and Kyivpastrans company must determine the locations of additional safety constructions. Safe bus stops must be easily accessible, be able to withstand the destructive force of weapons authorized by international humanitarian law, and keep the citizens safe from mortal danger.

A training on first aid for animals will be held at the temporary animal shelter “Exhibition Center” in Kyiv. The classes will be conducted free of charge by experienced veterinarians. Attendees will be able to bring their pets and get free advice on animal care, vaccinations and other issues.

The photo exhibition “Unseen Azovstal” dedicated to the defenders of Mariupol has opened in Kyiv. Dmytro Kozatskyi, the author of the photos, is now a prisoner of war in Olenivka, and pictures for the exhibition were provided by his mother. The organizers of the event had two goals: to remind the world of what is happening in our country, as well as to raise funds for the needs of the military.

Zhytomyr oblast

Educational workshops for children were held in Zhytomyr oblast. More than 70 kids took part in the event, where they tried out the roles of a police officer, a rescue worker and a doctor, and also got an insight into the work of a dog handler. According to Tetiana Parfentieva, the organizer of the project, such events provide both career guidance and an opportunity to learn something new.

Three hospitals in Zhytomyr oblast will receive Starlink stations. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine is in charge of distributing the stations. Thanks to the new equipment, medical institutions will have permanent access to satellite Internet.

Volunteers in Zhytomyr oblast do their best to help our defenders. Artem Sokhatsky conducts charity raffles and auctions of t-shirts and cups with images of the Ukrainian soldiers and even things belonging to the occupiers. Now the volunteer is auctioning off T-shirts of famous Ukrainian and foreign soccer players, with all proceeds raised to be spent on the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

A so-called “culinary battalion” of Zhytomyr women also contributed to the victory. Since the russian invasion began, women have baked hundreds of servings of homemade pizzas, strudels, pies with cabbage and potatoes, which are then sent to the front lines.

Sumy oblast

The enemy inflicted fire damage on the territory of Mykolaiv, Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Esman, Putivl, Shalygine, Velika Pysarivka, Yunakivka and Khotyn communities. There were almost 200 explosions. According to the Sumy RMA, a wheat field was destroyed by fire due to the artillery shelling of the Nova Sloboda community. Civil infrastructure and 2 households were damaged in the Esman community.

The classes on shooting with RPG-7 hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers were held for the fighters of volunteer formations of Sumy oblast. The event was initiated by the command of the operational-tactical group “Sumy”. These are the first training sessions  held in the future by all volunteer formations performing tasks in the area of ​​responsibility.

The Office of the President reported that despite constant shelling by the occupiers, all critical infrastructure facilities in the Okhtyrka and Trostyanets districts have been fully restored. Administrative buildings of the Okhtyrka city district court, premises of the Trostyanets and Sumy fire stations have also resumed their work.

Volunteers and rescuers are sorting out rubble in Trostyanets. The work continues on the territory of the building of the forestry research station fired upon by russian tanks. This is an architectural monument of national importance. The house of the estate manager L.E. Koenig built in the Art Nouveau style in 1911.

Chernihiv oblast

The SBGS reported that the border of Chernihiv oblast came under enemy fire once again. The enemy shelled the territory of the Semenivka community with artillery shells for an hour.

A woman tripped a mine and blew herself up on an enemy grenade due to ignoring the ban on visiting the forests. The victim was given first aid by police officers of the Chernihiv district, who found her on the side of the road while patrolling the area. As reported by the National Police, an investigative team is working at the scene.

The Chernihiv RMA reported that priority works on restoration of damaged infrastructure are ongoing in the Chernihiv oblast: restoration of power networks, installation of windows in kindergartens of the regional center, repair work in Chernihiv and regional hospitals, overhaul of buildings of the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic”.

Members of the youth public initiative “Repair together” began rebuilding houses damaged by russian shells in the village of Lukashivka near Chernihiv. The initiative was created immediately after Kyiv and Chernihiv regions were liberated. Its participants started with large-scale clean-ups in Yagidne, Ivanivka and Lukashivka. At the first meeting, 50 volunteers were recruited. Gradually the number of participants reached three hundred.

Nine children from the liberated Lukashivka in Chernihiv oblast took part in the charity project of Kyiv volunteers “Behind blue eyes”. For a week, teenagers filmed their lives on disposable film cameras and wrote their most cherished wishes. Children photographed destroyed houses, machinery, animals and nature. Their photos collected likes and donations in social networks.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

At night, the russian army shelled the cities of Marganets and Nikopol. 40 reactive munitions were fired at Marhanets from multiple rocket launchers. Private and multi-apartment residential buildings, a gas pipeline, commercial buildings, a shop, a cafe, and an infrastructure object were damaged.

Around1 a.m., the city of Nikopol was shelled from barrel artillery. Four private residential buildings and motor vehicles were damaged. Three people were injured, including a 12-year-old boy.

Eight specially equipped trucks were sent from Dnipro for the Armed Forces. The cars were purchased in France using the funds of the local community and benefactors.

On the occasion of Youth Day, a motivational meeting with star guests was held in Dnipro. The event was organized by the members of local public organizations. About 50 young people came to the meeting with Andrii Kyt and Yefim Konstantinovskyi. Famous comedians and organizers shared interesting success stories with young people and revealed the secrets of achieving goals even during the wartime.

Vinnytsia oblast

A girl from Vinnytsia cut her hair to help the Armed Forces. The proceeds were transferred to the purchase of power batteries for Ukrainian soldiers. The girl grew her hair during her whole life, eight years. However, she admits that she does not miss her long hair and is glad to have been able to help raise funds for the needs of the Armed Forces.

In Vinnytsia, the public organization STEM is FEM, with the support of the “Union for Action” program, is launching meetings to support internally displaced teenagers and local youth. They will be able to meet interesting people, listen to lectures, find new friends and seek psychological support.

Kirovohrad oblast

The “Save the Heroes of Azovstal” campaign was held in the city of Znamyanka in support of Ukrainian prisoners of war. Its purpose is to draw the attention of the world community to russia’s violations of the rules and the customs of war and its disregard of international agreements.

The Ukrainian U23 baseball team, whose coaches and 12 out of 17 players represent Kropyvnytskyi, advanced to the finals of the 2023 European Championship qualifiers. The result was achieved thanks to a hundred percent victory rate in the group stage – four victories in four matches against the national teams of Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. The fifth game against the hosts of the tournament – the national team of Slovenia – will take place on August 12.

Poltava oblast

A Poltava soldier handed over American and Ukrainian-British dry rations from the front for a charity auction. The patron who makes the largest donation is guaranteed to receive the American dry ration while the owner of the Ukrainian-British one will be chosen during the draw.

Cherkasy oblast

In Cherkasy oblast, law enforcement officers seized the property of three companies transferring funds to russian arms manufacturers. The General Prosecutor’s Office reported that the owner of the enterprises is a russian citizen who transferred money to companies that fulfilled orders for russian Oboronprom to produce weapons, weapon parts and ammunition during 2016-2021. 

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction has not changed significantly. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied positions.

The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Preobrazhenka, Yurkivka, Omelnyk, Trudove, and Orikhiv.

The police received 11 reports of the destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by russian forces.

The russian military again shelled the territory of Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant in the temporarily occupied Energodar. According to the mayor of Energodar, Dmytro Orlov, there were injured civilians, the residential sector and industrial infrastructure near the nuclear power plant were damaged.

The UN Security Council held a meeting on security at the russian-captured Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant amid recent shelling of the plant. The occupier is trying to put blame on Ukraine. The head of the IAEA insists on sending a mission to the ZNPP.

The United States supports the idea of creating a demilitarized zone around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant after hostilities involving russian and Ukrainian armed forces. This was reported by Reuters with reference to the statement of the representative of the State Department.

In the morning in the temporarily occupied Melitopol one of the heads of the election headquarters of the “United кussia” party, Oleg Shostak, was injured as a result of an explosion. Shostak previously headed the MTV+ TV channel, which was based in Melitopol.

2 149 people, including 657 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory.

The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a group of people who helped men escape from the draft during martial law. The perpetrator drove men of draft age in his own car to the temporarily occupied Melitopol, and from there to the temporarily annexed territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

Two employees of the railway in Melitopol were informed of the suspicion of aiding the aggressor state. According to the investigation, they voluntarily accepted the occupiers’ offer to take the pseudo-positions of the deputy head of the Melitopol station of the regional branch “Prydniprovska Zaliznytsia” and the deputy head of rolling stock of the State Enterprise “Melitopolska Zaliznytsia”.

Humanitarian aid, which will improve living conditions of IDPs, has arrived in Zaporizhzhia. There are refrigerators, generators, kitchen utensils, first-aid kits, sleeping bags, wheelchairs, etc. Later, they will be transferred to institutions that accept displaced persons. The assistance was provided within the Ukrainian Rapid Response Fund program implemented by IREX with the support of the US State Department.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv, Shevchenkove, Pervomaisk, Bereznehuvate, Shyroke, and Halytsynove communities were under enemy fire during the day. This was reported by Mykolaiv RMA. The explosions were heard in one of the sleeping areas of the regional center, Bereznehuvate, and the villages of Zoria, Kostiantynivka, Novomykolaivka, Lepetykha, and Kavkaz.

Residential buildings were destroyed and damaged, and forest plantations were burned in the Halytsynivske and Balabanivske forest tracts as a result of shelling. A woman was killed.

At night, the enemy launched a missile strike with a Su-35 multi-purpose fighter on the Bashtanka district. There are no losses and destruction.

The enemy again bombarded the port infrastructure of Mykolaiv “Hurricane”. There were no human losses.

A local resident was injured as a result of the “Smerch” MLR hit on Bereznehuvate.

Four fires were registered on the territory of Mykolayiv oblast, occurred due to enemy shelling. This is reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv oblast. The total area of the forests destroyed by the fire is 20 hectares.

Odesa oblast

The enemy ship group in the Black Sea consists of 12 ships and boats, which are hiding in missile-safe areas. Among them are 2 Kalibr-type surface missile carriers and 2 large amphibious ships.

The first ship loaded with more than 3K tons of wheat left the port of Chornomorsk. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Turkey. In total, two ships left the ports of Odesa through the “grain corridor”: SORMOVSKY under the flag of Belize is transporting wheat to Tekirdag, and STAR LAURA under the flag of the Marshall Islands with 60K tons of corn left for Iran. On August 12, two more ships will arrive at the Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi ports – BRAVE COMMANDER and PETREL S. More than 40K tons of grain will be loaded on them.

Starting September 1, the schools in Odesa oblast will have mixed forms of education – face-to-face and distance learning. There are schools in the region with ready-made shelters, but in most institutions, the arrangements are ongoing.

Kherson oblast

The enemy launched 8 strikes from helicopters and 4 strikes from attack aircraft towards the Ukrainian positions and liberated settlements. We have no losses.

The russians shelled three settlements in Kherson oblast: Novovorontsovka, Ivanivka, and Osokorivka. There are wounded and a lot of destruction.

The police opened 15 criminal proceedings regarding the commission of war crimes by the russian military on the territory of Kherson oblast.

Ukrainian aircraft launched 2 strikes on an enemy stronghold near Andriivka and on a buildup of enemy forces and equipment near Bruskinske.

Enemy losses amounted to 19 soldiers, 4 units of armored and motor vehicles and 1 more ammunition warehouse in the Beryslav district.

The russian military took Pavlo Zaporozhets, a Kherson citizen who was a member of the ATO, to the occupied Crimea after three months of captivity and torture. The FSB accuses him of an act of international terrorism. He was actively engaged in partisan activities within the occupied Kherson. Pavlo was arrested by the FSB in May. 

The Security Service of Ukraine suspected Tetiana Kalynovska, who assumed the position of “deputy” of the so-called “head of the Skadovsky administration”, of aiding the aggressor state. Tetiana Kalynovska was informed about the suspicion of collaborative activities.

Western regions

Volyn

998 out of 1148 educational institutions have been checked so far. 387 institutions have acceptable protective structures, the rest are under construction. Lyudmila Plahotna, head of the Department of Education and Science of the RMA, reported that almost UAH 27 million from local budgets were allocated for arrangement of shelters.

The Red Cross Society of Ukraine and Germany, as part of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation with Volyn, sent four cars for mobile brigades of the oblast. Medical services will be provided to vulnerable population groups.

Every day, young volunteers from Volodymyr hold a fair, offering cupcakes and lemonade. In exchange for goodies, people throw money into the piggy bank, which children save for a drone for defenders. It is possible to collect about 6K per day.

Zakarpattia oblast

The Uzhhorod City Council held a meeting with representatives of the NGO Partner Association Uzhgorod-Darmstadt and the project Contribution to the sustainable management of municipal waste in the city of Uzhhorod. Further steps in implementing the joint project of Uzhhorod and Darmstadt regarding waste management were discussed.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA reported that in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, UAH 20 million was allocated for construction of shelters.

An extraordinary meeting of the executive committee took place in Kaluska City Council, where the issue of allocation of one-time financial assistance for individual heating was considered – about UAH 1.2 million for 182 Kalush residents.

Lviv oblast

The RMA reported that in the Lviv district there are 47 anti-radiation shelters (ARS), which are on the balance sheet of educational institutions: 2 are fully equipped, 43 are currently completing work, and 2 are not yet ready.

The 5 Peron of Ukraine charity foundation, uniting entrepreneurs and founders of IT companies, sent 5 cars, drones, thermal imagers, ammunition, food, hygiene products, carts for people with disabilities, etc. to the military who are in hot spots of hostilities. The cost of aid is UAH 2.5 million. The Lviv defense cluster added bulletproof vests to the transfer, and LRMA added tactical first-aid kits.

The Student Council of Lviv and the Department of Youth Policy of the LYC held a social event Diplomas that will never be issued in memory of the students who died as a result of the full-scale invasion. Over 40 diplomas of students from all over Ukraine who died in the struggle for Ukraine’s independence were placed on Rynok Square.

The Drohobytsk RMA in partnership with the Kolo Charitable Foundation within the framework of the 1000 Cars of Freedom initiative sent 2 cars to the front line.

Head of the Lviv RMA Maksym Kozytskyi met with the youth leaders of Lviv region and thanked them on behalf of the Lviv RMA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports for their active work.

70 children of IDPs and combatants went from Lviv to France for a 10-day vacation. The children will live in the Rimaniv sanatorium, they will be provided with a balanced 4-course meal. The recreation program and activities will be held according to the age and interests of the participants.

An operational meeting was held in the Rivne city council with participation of representatives of communal administrations and management companies of the Rivne community. Preparation for the heating season was discussed at the meeting.

A modern fluoromobile, fully equipped with equipment for early detection of lung and oncological diseases, pathology of the bronchopulmonary system, etc., was handed over to the regional phthisiopulmonology center. This is the first fluoromobile in Ukraine allowing to conduct a comprehensive examination.

Head of the Rivne association of the Prosvita society named after Shevchenko Kateryna Sychyk said that the third stream of Ukrainian language courses for IDPs has launched in Rivne. About 50 students joined the courses.

Ternopil oblast

Head of the NGO Space of active and modern Tetyana Demchuk reported that in Lanivka, children organized a small fair in the city center. They sold toys, sweets and bracelets. Most of them are handmade. Over UAH 40K collected were transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi Oblast is the leader in the yield of grain crops. Currently, 243K hectares of early grain and leguminous crops have been mowed and threshed in the region, which is 75% of the area to be harvested.

The RMA reported that there are 122 storage facilities and 734 anti-radiation shelters (a total of 856 structures) in the oblast. According to the assessment results, 795 structures are usable, which is 93% of the total number.

An extraordinary meeting of the regional commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergency situations took place in RMA. Setting up shelters, preparing for the heating season, evacuating people from Donetsk oblast, etc were considered.

Thanks to the support of international organizations, Khmelnytskyi received 5 portable electrocardiographs, 15 ultrasound machines and 350 laptops.

The NGO Union of TV and Film Industry Entrepreneurs donated a car for the needs of one of the Khmelnytskyi military formations. The SUV has been repainted and undergone a full technical inspection. The car is loaded with food, preserves and goodies.

Head of RMA, Serhiy Gamalii, met with young leaders of Khmelnytskyi oblast and thanked them on behalf of the RMA for the significant contributions of the region’s youth in the defense of the country, assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the IDPs.

Chernivtsi oblast

A meeting with the commander of the Georgian National Legion Mamuka Mamulashvili and his comrades took place in the Chernivtsi RMA. They discussed opportunities for cooperation, assistance, and training for the Territorial Defense of Bukovyna.

A monument to a Soviet soldier was dismantled in Chernivtsi. This decision was taken by deputies at the session of the city council. Earlier the residents of Chernivtsi spoke in favor of dismantling the monument during the survey.

International support

€1.5 billion was collected for military aid to Ukraine at the conference in Copenhagen. Over 20 countries took part in the Conference of Northern European Allies in Support of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine new M270 MLRS systems arrived in Ukraine from Great Britain.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov announced that the Netherlands followed by a number of other countries joined the training of the Ukrainian military.

The US supports the initiative to create a demilitarized zone around the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

Ambassador of Ukraine in Stockholm Andrii Plahotniuk reported that 42K Ukrainians acquired the status of temporarily displaced persons in Sweden. Among them are approximately 13K children.

The Ministry of Health reported that the Czech Republic provides free medical care for 150 days for temporarily displaced Ukrainians who do not have a job.

12 countries have changed the procedure for issuing visas to citizens of russia. Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and the Czech Republic completely stopped issuing visas to russians.

The Ministry of Health reported that clinics in Germany and the Netherlands accepted 21 injured Ukrainians for specialized treatment.

The British Publishers Licensing Service, in cooperation with the book manufacturer Halstan and with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Great Britain, printed 16K books in Ukrainian. They will be handed over to children – temporary migrants from Ukraine within the framework of the first lady Olena Zelenska’s initiative Books without borders.
