Here is operational information on the russian invasion as of 6pm:
Towards Volyn, Polissia and Siversk, the situation has not changed. In Sumy oblast, the enemy fired artillery at civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of the settlements of Bilopillia, Mezenivka, Pavlivka and Vorozhba, and in Chernihiv oblast – near the village of Lohy. The occupiers pay considerable attention to conducting aerial reconnaissance with UAVs.
Towards Kharkiv, the enemy carried out fire damage from tanks, barreled and jet artillery in the areas of Baranivka, Chepil, Nove, Odnorobivka, Petrivka, Peremoha, Pechenihy, Prudianka, Ridne, Ruska Lozova, Slatyne, Slobozhanske, Ukrainka and Udy, and inflicted airstrikes near Rtyshchivka and Staryi Saltiv.
Towards Sloviansk, shelling was recorded near Karnaukhivka, Mazanivka, Velyka Dovhenke, Hrushuvakha, Komyshuvakha, Nova Dmytrivka, and Nortsivka. There was an airstrike near Zalyman.
Towards Donetsk, the enemy is trying to break through the defenses of our troops and gain a foothold to resume the offensive towards the cities of Kramatorsk and Bakhmut. Fire damage was inflicted to the Defense Forces along the contact line to thwart their actions and prevent re-deployment.
Towards Kramatorsk, settlements of Hryhorivka, Pryshyb, Siversk, and Verkhniokamianske were shelled.
The occupiers unsuccessfully tried to gain a foothold near Hryhorivka, Ivano-Darivka, and Verkhniokamianske. The enemy was pushed back.
Towards Bakhmut, the enemy fired settlements of Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Kostiantynivka, Kodema, Kurdiumivka, Vesela Dolyna, Yakovlivka, and Zaitseve from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery. Aircraft were used to launch strikes near Bakhmut, Spirne, Soledar, Vyimka, and Zaitsevo.
By conducting an assault, the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops and advance towards Bakhmut, Dacha, Vershina, Yakovlivka, and Zaitseve. The Ukrainian military inflicted losses on the occupiers and forced them to flee.
Towards Avdiivka, the enemy shelled Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Netailove, and Opytne with artillery. The occupiers also launched airstrikes near Avdiivka and Marinka.
The enemy tried to conduct assault operations towards Marinka and Pisky. The invaders had no success, suffered losses and withdrew.
Towards Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia, shelling was recorded near Burlatske, Huliaipilske, Kushuhum, Novoiakovlivka, Novomykhailivka, Olhivske, Orikhiv, Shevchenko, Tokmachka, Velyka Novoselka, Vremivka, Vuhledar, and Zolota Nyva. Enemy aviation operated near Novomykhailivka, Poltavka, Prechystivka, Shcherbaky and Zolota Nyva.

Towards the South Buh, the enemy’s main efforts are focused on preventing the advance of our units deep into the temporarily occupied territory.
The invaders fired tanks and artillery of various calibers at Andriivka, Bereznehuvate, Haliytsynove, Ivanivka, Kniazivka, Kyselivka, Lepetykha, Liubomyrivka, Lymany, Mykolaiv, Nikopol, Novomykolaivka, Osokorivka, Oleksandrivka, Poliana, Prybuzhske, Shevchenkove, Tverdomedove, Zelenyi Hai, and Zoria. The enemy launched airstrikes near Andriivka, Novohryhorivka, Lozove and Bila Krynytsia. Aerial reconnaissance was also conducted using UAVs.
In the Black and Azov Seas, the enemy’s ships continues to support the actions of the ground troops, block civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea and destroy military facilities and infrastructure elements in the depths of Ukraine.
Two carriers of sea-based cruise Kalibr missiles are in combat readiness.
Enemy personnel are demoralized. Due to large sanitary and irretrievable losses, measures for forced mobilization in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk oblast continue.


At about 6pm, 3 strikes were reported at the area where the Zaporizhzhia NPP is located. Later, at 6:06 pm, Energoatom reported on another strike. It is now known that they damaged the pumping station of household sewage. “The situation is exacerbated, because radiation sources are located nearby and several radiation sensors are damaged,” reports Energoatom .
13 K former and current servicemen of the republic of belarus signed a written consent to participate in the war against Ukraine. Along the state border, 6 battalions of the belarusian armed forces are deployed. This was announced by Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Brigadier General Oleksiy Hromov.
The MineFree mobile mine defense application has been launched. This application provides an opportunity to view a map showing potentially dangerous areas, receive notifications in case of approaching a dangerous object and familiarize yourself with the SES directory, which contains photos and descriptions of explosive objects. You can also report the detection of explosive or suspicious objects.


Eastern regions

Kharkiv oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that the enemy launched air strikes on the positions of our defenders. Russian invaders tried to advance towards Husarivka, Petrivka and Udy, but they suffered heavy losses and had to withdraw. The invaders also shelled Korobochkyne, Petrivka, Protopopivka, Shevelivka, Udy and other villages. The Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted restraining and in some places offensive actions.

Kharkiv Mayor, Ihor Terekhov, informs that Russian munitions hit the yard of a residential building in the Kyiv district, Kharkiv. An office building was damaged, windows in the apartment building broken and balconies destroyed. There were four strikes. There was no information about casualties.

During the day, the enemy continued intense shelling of settlements in Chuhuiv, Izium and Kharkiv districts. The invaders continuously shelled Tsyrkuny. Twelve strikes were recorded and 10 fires occurred. Private houses, outbuildings, shops, cafes and garages were destroyed. A woman was injured.

In the Chuhuiv district, forest belts and grass were on fire.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs that they destroyed two Kalibr cruise missiles launched by russians from the Black Sea.

Donetsk oblast

During the day, the invaders shelled 11 settlements of Donetsk oblast. As a result, 11 people were killed and eight others injured.

Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, says that the enemy shelled Kramatorsk from the S-300 missile system. There were no casualties. The hit left a crater 4 metres wide and 1.5 metres deep.

The Mariupol City Council in a telegram channel informs that in the occupied city, employees of the water utility continued a strike. They are demanding invaders pay salary arrears.

According to Mariupol Mayor, Vadym Boichenko, one of the possible dates for russian invaders to hold a so-called “tribunal” for Ukrainian prisoners of war in the city is 24 August.

Luhansk oblast

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, reports that the invaders tried to advance near Verkhnokamianske, yet once again were forced to withdraw with losses. In other locations where the enemy attempted to break through the defences, progress is even less noticeable. Despite constant intense shelling in these areas, the enemy did not form a sufficiently capable grouping of troops to provide a massive offensive.

During the day, Russians unsuccessfully stormed at once in eight directions and used aviation near the settlements located on the border regions – under the pressure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they withdrew from everywhere. Hostilities are ongoing in three other locations.

Head of Luhansk oblast, Serhii Haidai, informs that just overnight, the enemy launched 12 missiles, 16 shells from barrel artillery and two more from rocket artillery.

According to the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, in the occupied Smolianynove, two power engineers were killed and another injured as a result of a car explosion with an unexploded shell.

Northern regions

Kyiv oblast

Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klytschko met with the Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky. The embassy handed over 50K packages of ready-made food to Kyiv, which will be sent to our defenders. They also discussed establishment of rehabilitation centers in Ukraine and treatment of wounded Ukrainian soldiers in Israel, including those in need of prosthetics.

The first meeting of the commission on implementation of regional programs “New Home” and “Restoration of Private Houses” was held in Kyiv. They discussed urgent and transparent registration of citizens who have lost their homes. To date, 288 families have been registered.

The Coca-Cola company will rebuild a kindergarten in the village of Bohdanivka, Kyiv oblast. The new kindergarten building will be able to accommodate more children and will definitely have a safe shelter.

Economic activity is gradually resuming in Kyiv oblast. Currently there are more than 20K small and medium businesses operating in the region, many of which emerged in the last few months. Also, 25 enterprises have been relocated to Kyiv oblast from other regions.

State Emergency Service professionals continue to deliver training to civilians in Kyiv. This time, the sessions took place at the Heroiv Dnipra metro station. All interested citizens had the opportunity to learn more about actions in case of finding explosive objects, how to provide first aid and deal with negative emotional states.

The Ultra Marathon of Gratitude began in Kyiv, which will see Volodymyr Skovorodka, a rescuer of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, run 800 km from Kyiv to Warsaw to express his gratitude to his colleagues in Poland and support Ukrainian rescuers. Volodymyr will be joined by his colleagues in different cities, and other citizens will be able to participate in raising funds for modern equipment for the State Emergency Service.

42 children from families of POWs and AFU soldiers from the town of Slavutich will go on vacation to Poland. According to the city council, due to the war it is difficult to organize such events in Ukraine, but thanks to our foreign partners the children will be able to spend their vacation in a safe place without air raid alarms.

Zhytomyr oblast

The work on recovery and clearance of explosive ordnances continues in Zhytomyr oblast. This time, locals found missile wreckage in Korosten forestry of the Ushomyr territorial community. According to the preliminary information provided by the police, this is the wreckage of a Kalibr missile fired by the russian troops during one of the past airstrikes in Zhytomyr oblast.

62.8% of citizens are in favor of distance learning and 37.2% prefer full-time education. These are the results of a survey conducted in 59 territorial communities in Zhytomyr oblast. According to the regional military administration, a decision was made to start staffing the classes of different educational formats for each specifically defined school, identify schools that will stick to distance learning and where IDPs will be accommodated, and update the lists of IDP children who will be involved in the educational process.

A briefing conducted by representatives of the Health Department was held at the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration. They discussed challenges associated with protection against infectious diseases during the war. The number of requests for vaccinations has dropped significantly since russia started its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Famous Ukrainian boxer Denys Berinchyk held an open training session in Zhytomyr to raise funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Denys believes that everyone should contribute to the victory and help the military, who are currently holding the defense out there in the trenches.

Sumy oblast

The enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars, barrel and rocket artillery. According to the SBGS, Krasnopillia, Sumy, Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Seredina-Buda and Shalyhine communities came under enemy fire. Civil infrastructure was damaged due to the shelling of Sumy and Krasnopillia communities.

Over the past day, the invaders shelled 13 settlements, 164 hits were recorded. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine. The enemy shelled the town of Vorozhba, the town of Bilopillia, the village of Hrabovske, the village of Riasne, the village of Mezenivka, the village of Slavhorod, the village of Radkivka, the village of Iskryskivshchyna, the village of Bezsalivka, the village of Pavlivka, the village of Brusky, the village of Bunyakyne, Chernatske village. Five houses, one car and a gas pipe were damaged due to the shelling.

The 20-km border strip of Sumy oblast is dangerous – more than 47% of its territory was mined by the occupiers. The border territories of the oblast are constantly shelled from the territory of the russian federation. This was announced by Minister of Internal Affairs, Denys Monastyrskyi. According to him, the most dangerous are the repeated shelling of the enemy, as a result of which law enforcement officers and rescuers who go to the scene of the events die.

Which things belong to the category of first aid, how to apply a tourniquet, what to do when artillery fire starts or if a person comes across an explosive object – these are the rules of civil defense taught by the military to residents of Khotyn. According to Oleksandr Nesterenko, Commander of the operational-tactical group “Sumy”, such classes for the population will continue throughout August.

Since the beginning of the war, volunteers of the Youth Center in Okhtyrka searched for and sorted humanitarian aid, fed homeless animals, and cleaned the city of garbage. Currently, they help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Grants, crowdfunding, the latest technologies, robotics, environmental initiatives and many other activities were implemented at the institution during peacetime. But even since the past April, it has been visited by more than a thousand young residents of Okhtyrka.

Chernihiv oblast

The enemy does not stop shelling the Ukrainian border. The SBGS reported that the Novhorod-Siverskyi (7 explosions from SPH were recorded) and Horodnianka (10 mortar explosions) community came under enemy fire.

Law enforcement officers continue to find enemy caches with ammunition, arranged by the russian invaders. Two more hiding places were discovered – in an abandoned building in the village of Semenivka and on the outskirts of the village of Mykhailo-Kotsiubynskyi. Ammunition is being studied by experts, suitable items will be handed over to units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Demining of the territory of the oblast continues. In three days, the regional department of Emergency Situations reported that 581 explosive objects (EO) were discovered. For this purpose, pyrotechnic works and underwater demining teams were involved 50 times.

A total of 38,873 EOs have been seized since the start of hostilities. In total, more than 38 thousand hectares of the territory of Chernihiv, Nizhyn and Pryluky districts, 223 objects of infrastructure and livelihood of the population, 22 km of power lines, 195 km of highways and more than 7.5 km of gas pipelines were surveyed.

Renovation of buildings will begin in Bobrovytsia, the most affected neighbourhood of the regional center. As reported by the Chernihiv MRA, the restoration will begin under the auspices of the Office of the UN High Commissioner. A total of one and a half thousand houses are planned to be repaired in the oblast.

With the support of the Embassy of Finland in Ukraine, a number of joint initiatives are implemented in the oblast. The NGO Education conducts assessing damage to educational institutions in Chernihiv (13 schools and one kindergarten have been inspected so far). Funding for the technical inspection of the damaged facilities and psychological support is thanks to the international organization Finn Church Aid (Finnish Church Aid), which aims to help our children return to training, taking into account the existing risks.

The RMA reported that Chernihiv oblast continues to receive humanitarian aid from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Equipment was handed over to the units of the State Emergency Service – 40 gas cutters for emergency and rescue work and 100 thermal bags.

A batch of humanitarian aid was received by the medics of the regional emergency medical aid center. International Assistance Headquarters for Ukrainians donated clothes for medical personnel and first aid kits.

A new exhibit will be included in the exposition of the exhibition Rashism = Fascism, which has recently opened in the Chernihiv Regional Historical Museum. This is a fragment of the iron structure of the road bridge over the Desna River in Chernihiv, stitched with shrapnel from an aerial bomb. The fragment was handed over to the museum by Roman Smiyanenko, head of the Road Service in Chernihiv oblast. The road bridge across the Desna, which connected the regional center with Kyiv, was destroyed by russian aircraft on the night of March 22-23 during the enemy siege of Chernihiv.

Central regions

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

During the night, the occupiers fired about 120 shells from the MLRS at the Nikopol district. Half of them hit Nikopol. 2 people died and 7 were injured, including a 13-year-old girl. One person is under the rubble of a five-story building, the search is ongoing. Enemy shells damaged 39 high-rise buildings, 2 private residences, a children’s art center, 3 schools, cars and power lines. In Marhanets,  a cultural center and an art school were damaged. About 60 shells flew over the village of Prydniprovske. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in a workshop, it was extinguished. 14 private residential buildings, a dispensary, a shopping center, and some power lines were damaged. No casualties are reported.

In the morning, four missiles hit the village of Velikomykhailivka, the Synelnykive district. About 20 residential buildings and a mill were damaged, 120 tons of grain destroyed. 2 people were injured. The invaders hit the center of the village.

In the Dnipro district, there was an airstrike overnight. The scale of the destruction is being clarified. Velyka Kostromka in the Kryvyi Rih district was also shelled at night. The occupiers also shelled the border territories of the Apostolove community with barrel artillery. There were no victims or destruction.

In Dnipro, in the Canadian-Ukrainian center of the Dnipropetrovsk regional universal scientific library, the Ukrainian conversational club Palyanytsia will start its work to help those who want to switch to the Ukrainian language.

Vinnytsia oblast

The Vinnytsia City Council reported that representatives of the diplomatic missions of Great Britain, Norway, Spain, Georgia, Moldova, Turkey and China visited Vinnytsia. They discussed humanitarian cooperation and involvement of donor aid for restoration of objects damaged by airstrikes.

Currently, almost 182,000 displaced people live in Vinnytsia region, Vinnytsia MRA reported.

The total amount of damage caused to educational institutions of Vinnytsia oblast by airstrikes is about UAH 43 million, the department of humanitarian policy of the MRA reported. To date, restoration has been completed in 5 out of 21 damaged facilities.

The Vinnytsia MRA reported that the Central Hospital in Haisyn received humanitarian cargo, including VAC devices for treating wounds. The medical facility has not stopped working for a single day since the beginning of the war, each department has equipped its own separate shelter room with beds, medicines and everything necessary. The shelter also has an operating room, a supply of food and water.

The Vinnytsia Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting reported that Tulchyn foresters handed over cars for the Armed Forces and the Territorial Defense.

The Vinnytsia Bandurists’ Chapel Kalynonka became a laureate of the 1st International  Festival of Arts “Sources of Talents. Ukraine”. According to the Vinnytsia City Council, the organizers transferred the competition fees to help the AFU.

Oleksandr Karatsun from Vinnytsia took the first place in the All-Ukrainian art competition TALENTED CHILDREN OF UKRAINE and the second place in the International competition Phenomen from Ukraine. According to the Vinnytsia City Council, the organizers transferred part of the competition fees to help the AFU.

About 20 new cases of coronavirus are registered in Vinnytsia oblast every day, as reported by the regional department of health care and rehabilitation. The number of patients requiring hospitalization is increasing.

Vinnytsia Mayor Serhiy Morhunov reports that Vinnytsia farmers have already threshed more than 8.5 thousand tons of grain of the early group – wheat, barley, rapeseed. More than 80% of the area of winter cereals and 78% – under winter rapeseed have been harvested. 

Kirovohrad oblast

At night, another evacuation train from Donetsk oblast arrived to Znamianka, Head of the Kirovohrad RMA Andriy Raikovych reported. These are almost 200 people, including pensioners, people with disabilities, and large families.

As of February 24, 2,134 children were born in Kirovohrad oblast. Head of the regional healthcare department Antonina Kodrul reports that 259 children were born in the families of the IDPs.

Poltava oblast

This weekend, UAH 720K  will be collected for the purchase of the Valkyrie UAV at the charity fair Spaskyi Dvizh: Courage in Poltava. This was announced by the organizers of the event on the initiative of Mistohub.

Cherkasy oblast

A mine safety lecture for children was conducted in Cherkasy. The participants tried on the sapper’s armour, worked with a minesweeper and observed the models of grenades. Rescuers conduct such classes every week in all communities of Cherkasy oblast.

In Uman, the notification system will be improved. In particular, additional sirens will be installed, as informed by the city council.

Southern regions

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Towards Zaporizhzhia, the situation has not changed significantly. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied positions. 

The occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Kushuhum, Komyshuvakha, Huliaipilske, and Orikhiv. Police received 40 reports of the destruction of civilian infrastructure as a result of shelling by Russian occupation forces.

Russian troops once again shelled the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. This was reported by Energoatom. 5 hits were made near the welding area and the storage of radiation sources. Grass ignited on a small area. Another 5 shells hit the area of the fire station. The situation at the station is currently under control, the staff continues to work.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called on the russian federation to withdraw its troops from the Zaporizhzhia NPP, stop hostilities there and agree on a safe demilitarization perimeter to ensure the security of the territory.

During the day, 1,347 people, including 410 children, were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory. .

Since the beginning of the year, 5,800 unemployed people have found a job with the assistance of the employment service in the region, including 244 internally displaced persons and 95 ATO/OOS participants. Most of the employed specialize in equipment maintenance and operation. Tractor drivers, drivers, auxiliary workers, locksmiths-repairers, electricians were also often employed.

The bypass road in the village of Kamianske, the Vasylivka district, along which residents from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson oblast are trying to leave for the territory controlled by Ukraine, is being washed away by the rains. According to the information of the Department of Emergency Services of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia oblast, employees of the Emergency Department towed 197 trucks, 58 buses and 660 cars.

Mykolaiv oblast

The enemy attacked the port infrastructure in Mykolayiv oblast with the Smerch MLRS.

The occupiers fired at Halitsynove with heavy 152-caliber barrel artillery. There were no losses and significant destruction.

Ukrainian defenders shot down an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle “Eleron-3” in the Mykolaiv district, which was conducting aerial reconnaissance.

In the morning, the occupying army shelled the territory of the Pervomaisk community. Information on victims and damage is being clarified.

 One multi-apartment and 12 private residential buildings, cars and other property of citizens were damaged as a result of yesterday’s shelling in the regional center, Kostiantynivka, Halytsynove and Bereznehuvate.

Shevchenkove, Shyroke, Pervomaisk and Bereznehuvate communities were also shelled. Explosions took place in the settlements of Shyroke, Kostiantynivka, Zoria, Lepetykha, Kavkaz. Residential buildings were destroyed, forest plantations of the Balabaniv forest tract ignited.

Odesa oblast

In the course of counter-subversive measures, law enforcement officers detained a citizen in Odesa oblast, who was collecting and distributing information about the location of military units and important infrastructure facilities. Criminal proceedings have been initiated, operational and investigative actions are ongoing.

11 warships and boats of the enemy fleet continue to maneuver near the Crimean coast from Cape Tarkhankut to Novorossiysk in the stormy Black Sea. Two carriers of 16 Kalibr cruise missiles and 2 large amphibious ships are on standby.

Kherson oblast

Russian troops again shelled the settlement of Novovorontsovka. A woman was killed, and two more people injured as a result of the enemy artillery shelling. Several private houses and objects of civil infrastructure were damaged. The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office carries out a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings for violation of the laws and customs of war.

Ukrainian defenders launched 6 airstrikes on the enemy’s stronghold and center of manpower, weapons, equipment and ammunition warehouses in Beryslav and Bashtanka districts.

According to the results of the combat day, the enemy losses include 41 occupants, 3 howitzers “Msta-B”, 7 units of armored and motor vehicles. The final results are being clarified.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the command post of the 126th separate coastal guard brigade of the Coastal Forces of the russian Navy in the area of Novokamianka, and the command post of the 49th enemy army near Chervonyi Maiak. The command and observation post of the battalion tactical group of the 76th Airborne Assault Division was hit in Ishchenka, and an ammunition depot was hit in the Barvinok area.

Ismail Abdullayev, a propagandist from the DPR, was apppoited Head the Tavria television and radio company, created by the occupation authorities on the basis of the seized branch of the Suspilne Broadcaster in Kherson. Western regions

Volyn

Some of the school buses of Volyn educational institutions were sent to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The regional administration of the state emergency department reports that about 90% of schools and kindergartens in the Lutsk community have carried out the necessary work that allows children to be safe in the event of an air raid.

In Volyn, wartime safety lessons will be introduced in schools. Rules of evacuation to shelters, behaviour in case of missile-bomb, mine, chemical, radiation and fire hazards will be studied. Such a decision was taken by the Regional Commission for Technological and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations.

Mayor of the city Ihor Palonka announced that with the money collected at the City Day celebration in Volodymyr, a Mavic 3 drone was bought for the military of the 14th Brigade.

Children from Novovolynsk went on a two-week vacation to the German cities of Wittenborn and Neumunster. Interesting educational excursions will be arranged for them.

The city council reported that the 10th charity event for children and their parents Childhood Ambassador together with Star Landing will be held in Lutsk. Childhood Ambassador is an All-Ukrainian public initiative for social adaptation of children through peer-to-peer communication. 20 Ukrainian show business stars will participate in the event.

Zakarpattia oblast

The Uzhgorod city polyclinic received a new shock wave therapy device manufactured by BTL, which was purchased by the Singapore association PPABOTA as part of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The equipment was donated by the Ukrainian Medical Alliance charity foundation.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

At a meeting of the Ivano-Frankivsk city council, additional cash payments from the city budget were approved for 178 people aged 70+ and 150 people with disabilities of groups 1 and 2.

Thanks to the United States agency for international development USAID, six territorial communities of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast were provided with washing machines, dryers, heaters, furniture, mattresses, bed linen and other basic necessities for arranging accommodation for the displaced persons.

The regional hospital for war veterans in Kolomyia received a modern automatic hematology analyzer. Equipment worth UAH 250K was provided free of charge by the Orient Diagnostics LLC.

The non-governmental organization Hazard with the assistance of the RMA organized excursion trips for almost 100 children of privileged categories and internally displaced persons. While the children were enjoying the trips, psychologists worked with their parents and guardians.

Lviv oblast

The Maltese Aid Service, the Lviv City Council and the First Medical Association of Lviv signed a memorandum of cooperation. It is preliminary about 1 million euros of investments.

As part of the new regional Program for the implementation of priority infrastructure projects in Lviv oblast, this year it is planned to repair 20 social institutions in 17 territorial communities and create over 2K places for IDPs. For this, almost UAH 103 million were allocated from the regional budget.

The Lviv IT Cluster purchased and transferred Starlink systems for civil infrastructure facilities to the East with USAID funds.

The RMA and the American charitable organization Help Heroes Of Ukraine Inc, NFP sent 7 cars equipped with body armor, helmets, protective helmets, karemats, sleeping bags, drones and means of communication to the fighters of the 103rd and 80th brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thanks to the 5 platforms of Ukraine volunteer association, a plasma and a laptop were sent to the front line, which will help the Ukrainian soldiers to carry out their combat tasks.

Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi met with 10-years-old Zakhar Shchurk, who developed a portable charging station for the military. After the meeting, the mayor promised to help establish mass production of charging stations. The guy spends about UAH 20K and 7 days of work to make one station.

Rivne oblast

A government meeting was held in Rivne under the chairmanship of the Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Chernyshov. It was about the technical and economic readiness of heat supply enterprises for the heating period.

A meeting with representatives of the Kherson City Council was held in the Rivne City Council. The meeting discussed creation of the Coordination Center for the Support of displaced people from Kherson oblast in Rivne.

A collection of stories about war and victory written by immigrant children was presented in Rivne. They dedicated this book to every soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said Olena Medvedeva, a children writer and head of the Creative Center public organization, who edited the publication.

Ternopil oblast

The concert orchestra of the Military Academy from Odesa, which is touring Ukraine as part of the patriotic and artistic project the Army with the People, performed in Ternopil. This project aims to demonstrate the unity of the Ukrainian army and the civilian population, and raise the military’s and local residents’ spirit. Six of the best teams of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are participating in the project.

The Community Council at the Ternopil RMA handed over 500 kg of food and hygiene products to the Khorostki community for the needs of IDPs.

With the assistance of the charity foundation Help Heroes of Ukraine, 400 sets of military clothing were handed over to the soldiers of the 105th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

In Shepetivka, the Museum of Propaganda hosted the Kralyova ethno-workshop and master classes by Svitlana Rula and Zhanna Balahur – psychotherapy with ethnic types of decorative art and immersion in ancient customs that help survive crises.

In Khmelnytskyi, folk craftsmen will organize a charity fair on Independence Day. Funds collected from sales and auctions will be used to purchase tactical vehicles for Ukrainian defenders on the front lines.

Chernivtsi oblast

In Chernivtsi oblast, about 80% of educational institutions are ready for the start of the safe academic year in an offline format.

Deputy head of the community Valery Maryniak reported that housing was found for all the displaced people who lived in social institutions of the Rukshyn Territorial Community. They were resettled in houses that were empty. The displaced people who could not find a separate home were sheltered in their homes by the residents of the community.

Kindergartens in Chernivtsi, which have shelters and where internally displaced persons lived until now, will start working and accepting children. People who lived in these kindergartens were transferred to other educational institutions.

International support

During the martial law, Ukraine received 8.5K tons of medical humanitarian aid amounting to over UAH 12 billion. This is a collective support from 35 countries of the world from over 60 international charitable organizations, medical institutions, companies, as well as governments of various states.

Denmark will increase financial assistance to Ukraine by €110 million.
